Transcript
- 0:22Speaker 1: Very excited for this. Ryan Fox is with us. He's
- 0:24Speaker 1: the Open Championship winner. It was great to watch over
- 0:28Speaker 1: the weekend, and Ryan moved into twenty first and the
- 0:32Speaker 1: FedEx Cup standings with the playoffs seeing up on August thirteenth.
- 0:35Speaker 1: We'll talk about that in just a second. But Ryan,
- 0:38Speaker 1: if I told you, let's say, last Wednesday, that the
- 0:41Speaker 1: following Tuesday you'd be the Open Champion, you would have
- 0:45Speaker 1: told me what.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I probably can't say the exact words, but something like
- 0:50Speaker 2: no chance. Yeah, like that's crazy, Like I'm not I'm
- 0:56Speaker 2: not come to terms.
- 0:57Speaker 3: With it yet at all.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I've got two versions of the Claric jug in my
- 1:02Speaker 2: house at the moment, one replica, one real one. That's yeah,
- 1:06Speaker 2: that's and the way it happened as well, like I'm
- 1:09Speaker 2: not sure I had that in me really to play
- 1:14Speaker 2: how I did down the stretch under that pressure and
- 1:17Speaker 2: you know, to Birdie the seventy second hold of them
- 1:19Speaker 2: major to win the tournament, like absolutely nuts.
- 1:22Speaker 1: To be honest, which trophy is behind you right now?
- 1:24Speaker 1: Is that the real one or the replicas?
- 1:26Speaker 3: That's the real one. Wasn't sure if you could see
- 1:28Speaker 3: it or not, but yes, that is the real one.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Oh no, we could see it if you wouldn't mind, Ryan,
- 1:32Speaker 1: I love again. I love watching it over the weekend
- 1:36Speaker 1: if you could put us on that eighteenth tea box
- 1:38Speaker 1: with you. You need a birdie to win that whole. I
- 1:41Speaker 1: think gave up two birdies the entire day to the
- 1:43Speaker 1: best golfers in the world. I just put us there.
- 1:46Speaker 1: What are you thinking? What's the mentality there?
- 1:48Speaker 3: But I think you could probably hear it in combo.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I see it.
- 1:51Speaker 2: To my caddy, I said, are we going to take
- 1:52Speaker 2: this off? I said, we are going to take this
- 1:54Speaker 2: on and I'll live with the consequences like I was.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I was happy to And that meant take the t
- 2:01Speaker 2: shot on basically, like you know, you could hit five
- 2:03Speaker 2: mine down the fairway and maybe five one on the
- 2:04Speaker 2: green and scramble for a par. But in my head
- 2:08Speaker 2: I had a chance to want to major. I'm at
- 2:11Speaker 2: the time, I may never have another chance to do this,
- 2:13Speaker 2: so I'm going to give it a crack quick and
- 2:17Speaker 2: pretty pretty proud to actually be able to pull it off.
- 2:21Speaker 2: And I was willing to live with the consequences, like
- 2:22Speaker 2: if I had a bad drive there.
- 2:24Speaker 3: And hit it in the bunker and made bogey. Well,
- 2:26Speaker 3: I was happy to live that down.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I would have probably found it harder to live down
- 2:31Speaker 2: trying to play conservative and you know, lay it back
- 2:33Speaker 2: and then make a bogey that way and miss out
- 2:35Speaker 2: on a playoff, like when you're just playing for a
- 2:37Speaker 2: playoff and missing out, I would have Yeah, would have
- 2:40Speaker 2: been more disappointing than trying to win and missing out
- 2:43Speaker 2: on a playoff. For I don't know if that makes sense,
- 2:46Speaker 2: but it made sense to me at the time in
- 2:48Speaker 2: my head.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yeah, you went for it. You had your opportunity and
- 2:50Speaker 1: you said, hey, I'm going for it, and it was
- 2:52Speaker 1: great to see. Did any part of you feel badly though,
- 2:55Speaker 1: for making Cam Young wade around there for so long?
- 2:57Speaker 1: I mean.
- 2:59Speaker 2: No, I'll say more of me felt bad for turning
- 3:02Speaker 2: up at the airport at five point thirty the next
- 3:05Speaker 2: morning with the two claric drugs and everything else and
- 3:08Speaker 2: Cam Young's and the line in front of me to
- 3:10Speaker 2: check into the airport.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Oh man, that I felt. I did feel bad about that.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Like, you know, like Cam as an incredible player, He's
- 3:19Speaker 2: had an incredible year. It was such a great round
- 3:22Speaker 2: that he played on Sunday. You know, those conditions definitely
- 3:26Speaker 2: got tough and he didn't get the you know, it
- 3:27Speaker 2: wasn't like he was super super early and posted.
- 3:30Speaker 3: A low one like I did on Saturday.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Like he played in the tough conditions and shot I
- 3:35Speaker 2: think it was the best round of the day.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Was it on Sunday? Like that's seriously impressive and his
- 3:42Speaker 3: time will come.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You should have cut him.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I'm just gonna say it.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Nah nah, I mean, I mean sitting in front of
- 3:52Speaker 2: me on the plane too, Like it's just yeah, he
- 3:57Speaker 2: was great, Like we talked about the trophy and where
- 3:59Speaker 2: we're going on, meeting up families and everything like that,
- 4:01Speaker 2: Like it was cool.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I get on really well with Camp.
- 4:03Speaker 2: But you know, it was hard not to feel like
- 4:05Speaker 2: a little bit guilty, a little bit sorry, Like you know,
- 4:08Speaker 2: I certainly would have would have felt like I would
- 4:11Speaker 2: have been disappointed. But you've also I've been in a
- 4:14Speaker 2: situation the other way, not obviously in a major championship,
- 4:18Speaker 2: but where someone's hold a part on me to beat me,
- 4:21Speaker 2: and you know, sometimes you've just got to you know,
- 4:24Speaker 2: applaud it as well and just be like, yep, fair enough,
- 4:26Speaker 2: I did all like control really well, and I hope
- 4:28Speaker 2: he looks at it that way, and you know he'll
- 4:30Speaker 2: get he'll get his time, like he's he's such a
- 4:32Speaker 2: good player, and I hope it comes from So.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Ryan, did did they call you foxy on tour?
- 4:36Speaker 1: I'm just curious.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, everyone calls me fox perfect.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So I'm curious.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Did you know that eighteen was playing so hard when
- 4:43Speaker 4: you were approaching it and coming up with your you know,
- 4:46Speaker 4: your strategy.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Not really, I mean, like, you know, it's a hard whole,
- 4:51Speaker 2: but I didn't know it was the hardest hole of
- 4:53Speaker 2: the day or the week or anything like that. Like
- 4:56Speaker 2: my strategy for the whole week was kind of take
- 4:58Speaker 2: the golf course on and if you hit it, you
- 5:01Speaker 2: know far enough up in trouble, you're going to be
- 5:05Speaker 2: better off than if you lay it back. Like that
- 5:06Speaker 2: golf course got pretty hard if you're laying it back
- 5:09Speaker 2: the whole time, and there was almost more pressure on
- 5:12Speaker 2: if you if you missed your shot laying back, you're
- 5:15Speaker 2: in it was yeah, you're in a bad place. So
- 5:19Speaker 2: like taking it on that was kind of the theory
- 5:22Speaker 2: for the week. And I'm glad I kind of stuck
- 5:24Speaker 2: my gun, stuck to my guns there and kept doing that,
- 5:28Speaker 2: you know, what felt like all day Sunday, but especially
- 5:31Speaker 2: you know that that last hour or so I didn't
- 5:33Speaker 2: miss a shot and then you know to to do
- 5:36Speaker 2: it down the last with everything on the line in
- 5:38Speaker 2: a major like I don't know, I like I tried
- 5:41Speaker 2: to put myself in that position right now, and like
- 5:43Speaker 2: I'm not sure how it happened.
- 5:45Speaker 3: It just it did.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Really Like, had you know, would it have changed anything?
- 5:50Speaker 4: Would you have played a little bit more conservative or
- 5:52Speaker 4: just want to keep going out the strategy that you had?
- 5:54Speaker 3: Are we not? Not?
- 5:55Speaker 2: Not?
- 5:55Speaker 3: Really?
- 5:56Speaker 2: I mean I think it would have changed if I
- 5:58Speaker 2: birdied seventeen, Like if I birdie seventeen, youd need a
- 6:02Speaker 2: part of win, Like if you get that t shot
- 6:05Speaker 2: on the fairway with an iron, like you should be
- 6:08Speaker 2: able to get it up near the green and you're
- 6:10Speaker 2: going to make boge it worse and then you're like, okay,
- 6:12Speaker 2: well at that point, I've got a chance of making
- 6:15Speaker 2: par and a chance of making Bogie, but both of
- 6:17Speaker 2: which still leave me a chance of winning the Open.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Whereas I think, you know, having to make birdie, like
- 6:24Speaker 2: I was definitely not guaranteed of making power if I
- 6:26Speaker 2: laid up so I would you know, at that point
- 6:29Speaker 2: I would have rather gone down swinging, and it obviously
- 6:32Speaker 2: ended up in my favor, but I was prepared to
- 6:35Speaker 2: deal with the consequences the other way.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Ryan fastest with us. He's the Open championship winner over
- 6:52Speaker 1: the weekend. Tell me if this is fair? Ryan, you
- 6:54Speaker 1: were moving so fast that winning the Open didn't sync
- 6:57Speaker 1: in until you were forced to actually sit down and
- 7:00Speaker 1: sign your score guards to make it official. Is that
- 7:03Speaker 1: the hair.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Almost yeah, like the one that the time I realized that,
- 7:10Speaker 2: and this is before I had actually hit the part.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I was looking from behind the hole and I I
- 7:17Speaker 2: kind of had to like step away and try to
- 7:18Speaker 2: compose myself because I've like this part's to win the Open,
- 7:22Speaker 2: Like I almost lost it at that point, Like you know,
- 7:25Speaker 2: being in that position is like almost beyond your wildest
- 7:29Speaker 2: dreams at that point and trying to control your nerves
- 7:31Speaker 2: and everything through it. Like I was gone and I
- 7:34Speaker 2: had to kind of get try to get myself back
- 7:36Speaker 2: in it, and then all of a sudden, it all
- 7:37Speaker 2: happens and it's a whirlwhere and then you're like, yeah,
- 7:41Speaker 2: all that went through my head, from the walk to
- 7:44Speaker 2: from the eighteenth green to the scoring is what the
- 7:47Speaker 2: hell just happened? Like, I know I saw people and
- 7:49Speaker 2: talk to people various other things, but I have no
- 7:53Speaker 2: idea what happened and that what is it? Two minutes?
- 7:56Speaker 2: Three minutes? Yeah, like I'm just sitting there and then
- 8:00Speaker 2: like trying to even like shouldn't be too hard to
- 8:02Speaker 2: add up a scorecard, but even trying to add up
- 8:03Speaker 2: a scorecard at that points, damn heart.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't imagine. Has anyone ever turned to you
- 8:08Speaker 1: during around and said, yeah, hey, Ryan, just slow it
- 8:12Speaker 1: down a little bit, man, you move it too fast?
- 8:15Speaker 3: No, not really, I mean I would say, like most
- 8:19Speaker 3: of the guys on tour quite like it, Like.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it's I'm out of the way, like I do
- 8:24Speaker 2: all my stuff when I get a chance, too, I'm
- 8:27Speaker 2: always ready to hurt, Like I'm one of those guys
- 8:29Speaker 2: that if someone's having a tough time or getting a ruling, like,
- 8:33Speaker 2: I'm always happy to go. So I think like most
- 8:35Speaker 2: of my peers appreciate that. I don't think the cameraman
- 8:39Speaker 2: appreciate it. Get behind us and hit shots. So they
- 8:43Speaker 2: may have muttered a few things, but I guess now
- 8:47Speaker 2: they're going to have for get used to it. A
- 8:49Speaker 2: fear bit more because I might be in a couple
- 8:51Speaker 2: of those marquee groups going forward for the next little while.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Great for viewing purposes too, right, So I think sam
- 8:59Speaker 4: Brune was what ten under to start the round. Right,
- 9:01Speaker 4: At what point during the round did you say to
- 9:04Speaker 4: yourself or did you at all say to yourself? Maybe
- 9:07Speaker 4: like cause you said you mentioned before that if we
- 9:08Speaker 4: had told you last week, you would have said we
- 9:10Speaker 4: were crazy. But during that round, when did you sort
- 9:12Speaker 4: of kind of feel it or did you not allow
- 9:14Speaker 4: yourself to.
- 9:16Speaker 3: I would say.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I said to my Keddy six holes in, I feel
- 9:22Speaker 2: better than I thought I would feel right now, like
- 9:26Speaker 2: being in that position. Obviously, never been in the last
- 9:28Speaker 2: group of a major, I've never even been close to it,
- 9:29Speaker 2: to be honest, So.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Like I didn't I didn't know how I was going
- 9:34Speaker 3: to feel.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Like everything had gone through my head the night before,
- 9:38Speaker 2: from winning the open to shooting eighty two and finishing sixtieth,
- 9:42Speaker 2: so like I didn't know what was going to come
- 9:45Speaker 2: out on Sunday. And I did feel pretty okay about
- 9:50Speaker 2: early and then when I birdied thirteen was like the
- 9:52Speaker 2: first time that I was like, okay, I've got a
- 9:54Speaker 2: chance here and something just kind of kicked into get
- 9:58Speaker 2: Like those last six holes, I didn't miss a shot
- 10:03Speaker 2: like you. No, I got screwed on fifteen, but I
- 10:06Speaker 2: hit that shot exactly where I wanted to, Like if
- 10:08Speaker 2: that's a yard further, I've got a part for thirty.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Golf is so funny and great and cruel. Funny and
- 10:15Speaker 1: great from the standpoint that Ryan Fox can go out
- 10:18Speaker 1: and win the Open Championship on any given weekend, cruel
- 10:20Speaker 1: because Sam Burns has been so close so many times.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I'm wondering if you're aware of that in that situation
- 10:26Speaker 1: you're sitting next to him after the round is over,
- 10:28Speaker 1: do you say anything to Sam? What do you do there?
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean again, it's a bit whirlwind. I remember
- 10:37Speaker 2: what Sam said to me, and it was something along
- 10:40Speaker 2: the lines of like, dude, that was awesome, that was
- 10:42Speaker 2: so well deserved. And then he actually goes no, that
- 10:44Speaker 2: was so well earned, and that meant a lot coming
- 10:47Speaker 2: from him at the time, Like I know he will
- 10:49Speaker 2: be absolutely gutted. And again the same thing for Cam.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Like Sam has played so well for.
- 10:57Speaker 3: The last.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Year two years, he's given himself a bunch of chances
- 11:01Speaker 2: like his time will come Like I thought he played
- 11:04Speaker 2: great on Sunday coming down. He just had a bunch
- 11:07Speaker 2: of those parts that like ran by the edge that
- 11:09Speaker 2: they were really good parts that didn't go in.
- 11:11Speaker 3: And he was he was a great playing partner to
- 11:13Speaker 3: play with. We talked of it. You know, he's obviously
- 11:17Speaker 3: just had a second kid.
- 11:18Speaker 2: We talked a bit about our families, and we kind
- 11:20Speaker 2: of joked early on about both of us being pretty
- 11:23Speaker 2: quick and going to have it's going to be a
- 11:25Speaker 2: slow day waiting, and it was for both of us.
- 11:28Speaker 2: But like, couldn't ask for a better playing partner. And again,
- 11:33Speaker 2: you know, like he did it. He did enough on
- 11:35Speaker 2: Sunday to give himself a chance and you know, the
- 11:40Speaker 2: chips ended up falling in my favor, but you know,
- 11:44Speaker 2: I think the chips will fall in his favor. You know,
- 11:46Speaker 2: the same thing at the US Open. I remember watching
- 11:48Speaker 2: that down the stretch and he did everything right, it
- 11:51Speaker 2: felt like, and had a great part on eighteen to
- 11:54Speaker 2: just miss out getting in a playoff like he's there
- 11:56Speaker 2: or there about so often he's going to get it done,
- 11:59Speaker 2: and you know I'll be I'll be one of the
- 12:01Speaker 2: first to congratulate him when he does, like Yeah, he was.
- 12:05Speaker 2: He was brilliant to play with him, very humble about
- 12:08Speaker 2: it on on Sunday when we played together. So yeah,
- 12:12Speaker 2: I don't know what else I can say about that,
- 12:14Speaker 2: to be fair.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Yep, does Ryan Fox have any tips on how to
- 12:17Speaker 1: make a slow group in front of you play faster.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Other than hit a ball into them?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Not really that's your solution, just someone right in their
- 12:29Speaker 1: next doesn't work.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Doesn't work as well on tour. We can kind of
- 12:35Speaker 2: if it's really bad for us, like we have. I
- 12:38Speaker 2: have been in groups where we called rules officials and
- 12:41Speaker 2: squat's going on about the group in front. Are they
- 12:43Speaker 2: on the clock or something like that, So I guess
- 12:45Speaker 2: we can do it that way. But yeah, if you're
- 12:48Speaker 2: at your local club and someone's playing slowly, the best
- 12:51Speaker 2: way to speed them up or really piss them off
- 12:52Speaker 2: is just to have ball onto them.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Right.
- 12:55Speaker 4: My favorite part about well, this tournament, but a lot
- 12:57Speaker 4: of links of courses is guys trying to find a
- 13:00Speaker 4: way to create a stance when they're in that pop bunker.
- 13:03Speaker 4: And I don't know how many, like do you even
- 13:05Speaker 4: practice those shots or is it just one of those
- 13:07Speaker 4: deals where it's just like hey, whenever I'm in that spy.
- 13:09Speaker 4: We're just gonna have to figure something out.
- 13:12Speaker 2: It is just a straight figure it out to be honest,
- 13:15Speaker 2: and I'm kind of glad. Like the one I had
- 13:16Speaker 2: that was so bad on fifteen, Like I didn't even
- 13:19Speaker 2: have an option of doing anything else, So like that
- 13:23Speaker 2: could have gone. You know, if I had a slightly
- 13:24Speaker 2: different angle or it was slightly further away from the
- 13:27Speaker 2: lip and I had a bit more of a chance,
- 13:30Speaker 2: you know, I could have made a real fool of myself.
- 13:32Speaker 2: In the end, I just had no choice but to
- 13:34Speaker 2: hack it out backwards, and you know that was a
- 13:36Speaker 2: pretty pivotal hole in the tournament. But yeah, like you
- 13:38Speaker 2: get some real crazy stuff happening in links golf, and
- 13:41Speaker 2: I think that's why everyone loves watching it.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Like it's you don't really know what's going to happen.
- 13:45Speaker 2: You get, you know, two lines ago three hundred yards plus,
- 13:48Speaker 2: you can get drivers that go two hundred yards into
- 13:51Speaker 2: the wind, you get crazy lies and everything. It's just
- 13:55Speaker 2: an amazing tournament, amazing style of golf to play.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I think we'll get you out of here. And a second,
- 14:00Speaker 1: I don't want to make any assumptions, but help me
- 14:02Speaker 1: settle a bet. My friend said that you would drink
- 14:06Speaker 1: more than fifteen beers to celebrate winning the Open Championship.
- 14:12Speaker 1: You set the over under at fifteen. I took the over,
- 14:14Speaker 1: he took the under. Who won?
- 14:17Speaker 2: Well, so there's going to be a kevitch that I
- 14:20Speaker 2: actually don't drink beer. Wow, So it's probably a no
- 14:23Speaker 2: result in that. I would say, like, I'm a wine man,
- 14:26Speaker 2: I love my red wine. Would I've got to fifteen
- 14:30Speaker 2: glasses of red wine?
- 14:34Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 14:35Speaker 2: I definitely had no sleep before getting on the plane,
- 14:39Speaker 2: but yeah, I was. I was probably on the under
- 14:41Speaker 2: of firsteen glasses a red I did give it a
- 14:44Speaker 2: pretty good go though, and I'll definitely give it a
- 14:46Speaker 2: pretty good go when I get back.
- 14:47Speaker 3: To New Zealand at some point as well with my mates.
- 14:50Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure he's going to be a pretty big
- 14:52Speaker 2: cuter to drink something out of that Claret jog behind me.
- 14:56Speaker 1: They have a Tardis in New Zealand. I just went there,
- 14:58Speaker 1: went to Australia recently. So Toddy, do you know Toddy's No,
- 15:02Speaker 1: I've never heard of it. The greatest steakhous ever. Check
- 15:05Speaker 1: it out?
- 15:05Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, you like? I like my steak. So
- 15:08Speaker 2: so yeah, I'm gonna have to look that one up.
- 15:09Speaker 1: You'll get a table for twenty whenever you walk in now,
- 15:11Speaker 1: just walk in with a jug.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Yeah no, I think.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I think, yeah, that's going to help me get some
- 15:16Speaker 2: some reservations and a few other things.
- 15:18Speaker 3: That little thing behind me.
- 15:20Speaker 1: All right. Last question, what was it like when you
- 15:22Speaker 1: actually saw your family, when you physically saw your family,
- 15:25Speaker 1: What was the emotion like there for you?
- 15:27Speaker 2: It was it was awesome. Like I walked through with
- 15:29Speaker 2: both the both the jugs, the replica and the and
- 15:33Speaker 2: the real one and the cases, and they call you
- 15:36Speaker 2: a massive hug from the kids. Obviously, my wife was
- 15:38Speaker 2: losing it a little bit. She's in the same position
- 15:41Speaker 2: as me, just like is this real or not?
- 15:43Speaker 3: Right now?
- 15:45Speaker 2: And then you know, think we got the trophies out
- 15:47Speaker 2: of the kids really wanted me to bring a trophy
- 15:49Speaker 2: home from my trip away, and you brought to pretty
- 15:52Speaker 2: pretty excited. I brought them one each apparently been five
- 15:56Speaker 2: minutes later watching a movie on TV, like just had
- 15:59Speaker 2: some amazing you know how normal it became really quickly. Yeah,
- 16:03Speaker 2: like you know, I dropped them at a dance class
- 16:06Speaker 2: today this morning, like just didn't what what what's gone
- 16:10Speaker 2: on over the last thirty six I was like, yeah,
- 16:13Speaker 2: you know, they think it's pretty cool. Although I was
- 16:15Speaker 2: very worried that my my five year old open the
- 16:18Speaker 2: top of the cleric jargon, goes, Dad, this smells like
- 16:21Speaker 2: wine in here. I'm not sure she should know what
- 16:23Speaker 2: it smells like.
- 16:25Speaker 1: They'll bring your right back to reality and they'll humble you.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Yes, yes, very quickly.
- 16:30Speaker 1: All right. The open jam bionship moved you up to
- 16:33Speaker 1: twenty first in the FedEx Cup standings with the playoffs
- 16:36Speaker 1: uh teaing up August thirteen. You have a chance here
- 16:38Speaker 1: winning a lot of money, right, I know you're happy.
- 16:40Speaker 1: If your career rounded today, you'd be happy. But you
- 16:42Speaker 1: do have a chance here talking about the FedEx here.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean this sounds bad. Look, it hasn't even
- 16:49Speaker 2: crossed my mind yet. Like I just I'm still trying
- 16:53Speaker 2: to process what's going on. I mean, I've I'm not
- 16:56Speaker 2: playing the next three weeks until Memphis, Like I actually
- 16:58Speaker 2: don't think i'd. I'd be all over the place in
- 17:01Speaker 2: the next couple of weeks trying to play golf and
- 17:03Speaker 2: actually get get back into it. I think my dad
- 17:08Speaker 2: probably put it to me the best on this was
- 17:09Speaker 2: a rugby term around, like winning a World Cup. Like
- 17:13Speaker 2: you've got to climb the mountain every week, but in
- 17:15Speaker 2: order to climbate, you've got to get back down. And
- 17:17Speaker 2: I obviously climbed the mountain last week, but it's going
- 17:20Speaker 2: to take me a pretty long time to get back down,
- 17:22Speaker 2: So I've got to kind of get back down there
- 17:24Speaker 2: over the next couple of weeks, you know, and then
- 17:28Speaker 2: I will look at trying to get into the trying
- 17:31Speaker 2: to make sure I'm in Atlanta at the end.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Of the year of the Tour Championship for the first.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Time, which you know, hopefully I get there and that'll
- 17:37Speaker 2: be an amazing experience. And yeah, like I've got a
- 17:40Speaker 2: lot of stuff that I still want to achieve in
- 17:42Speaker 2: the game. I think the other thing that came out
- 17:44Speaker 2: of Sunday is the President's Cup. I mean, I'm obviously
- 17:47Speaker 2: looking pretty good to be on that team now. Yeah,
- 17:49Speaker 2: so no, that was a big goal this year to
- 17:52Speaker 2: take off, So I'm going to be excited about that.
- 17:54Speaker 2: So there's Yeah, my world has changed, My life has
- 17:58Speaker 2: changed a lot in the last thirty six forty eight hours,
- 18:01Speaker 2: and it's gonna gonna take a while for a tool sinking.

- 18:15Speaker 1: be tired of dropping them off everywhere.
