Speaker 1: It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackey,
• 0:03
Speaker 1: and it's time right now. Four Today's word, what looks
• 0:08
Speaker 1: dead is only sleeping. What looks dead is only sleeping.
• 0:16
Speaker 1: John eleven eleven says, our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep.
• 0:20
Speaker 1: But now I will go and wake him up. You know,
• 0:24
Speaker 1: sometimes in life it feels like certain areas have completely died.
• 0:30
Speaker 1: Dreams that never came true, relationships that fell apart, opportunities
• 0:34
Speaker 1: that seem to pass you by. You've prayed, you've waited,
• 0:38
Speaker 1: and nothing seems to change. It looks final. But in
• 0:42
Speaker 1: John eleven, when Lazarus died, Jesus saw something different. While
• 0:47
Speaker 1: everyone else was mourning, he said, our friend Lazarus has
• 0:51
Speaker 1: fallen asleep. Jesus wasn't in denial. He simply saw the
• 0:56
Speaker 1: situation from heaven's perspective. Where people saw an ending, he
• 1:00
Speaker 1: simply saw a pause where they saw a tomb. He
• 1:04
Speaker 1: saw a temporary resting place. Because when Jesus steps into
• 1:09
Speaker 1: a situation, come on, Jesus, even death has to yield
• 1:13
Speaker 1: to his authority. Four days later, Lazarus came walking out
• 1:17
Speaker 1: of the grave, a live restored and a testimony of
• 1:22
Speaker 1: God's miraculous power. Well, the same is true for you.
• 1:27
Speaker 1: That dream that's been buried under disappointment, it's not dead,
• 1:31
Speaker 1: it's just asleep. That relationship you thought was over, God
• 1:35
Speaker 1: can breathe new life into it. That door that's been
• 1:38
Speaker 1: closed for years, he can reopen it in his perfect timing.
• 1:43
Speaker 1: See what you call finish, God calls waiting. What you
• 1:47
Speaker 1: say is too late, He says, it's right on the schedule.
• 1:51
Speaker 1: So don't let what looks lifeless convince you that it's over.
• 1:56
Speaker 1: God specializes in divine resurrections. He's not intimidated by how
• 2:01
Speaker 1: long it's been or how impossible it looks. One word
• 2:05
Speaker 1: from the Master can wake up what's been dormant in
• 2:09
Speaker 1: your life for years. So do yourself a favor. Keep believing,
• 2:16
Speaker 1: keep trusting you, stay in faith, because the same voice
• 2:21
Speaker 1: that called Lazarus out of the tomb is still speaking today,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: and he's saying to you, it's not over. It's not dead,
• 2:31
Speaker 1: it's just asleep. Get ready because what you thought was
• 2:35
Speaker 1: gone forever is about to rise again. Come on, Jesus Father,
• 2:39
Speaker 1: thank you, Thank you that you are the God who
• 2:42
Speaker 1: brings dead things back to life. Thank you that what
• 2:47
Speaker 1: we thought was over was only sleeping and waiting for
• 2:51
Speaker 1: your perfect timing. We can trust you, God, and we
• 2:54
Speaker 1: can trust your timing. We trust you to awaken every dream,
• 2:58
Speaker 1: We trust you to awaken every promise. We trust you
• 3:02
Speaker 1: to awaken every opportunity that you've spoken over our lives. God,
• 3:07
Speaker 1: we believe resurrection power is at work in us and
• 3:10
Speaker 1: through us, in the mighty, wonderful, matchless name of Jesus. Yes, God,
• 3:16
Speaker 1: Now that's your word for today. I want you to
• 3:19
Speaker 1: take it apply to your everyday life and you continue
