- 1:00Hey, y'all, welcome today's show. Coming to the end of another blazing
- 1:04hot weekend in July. Boys, this has been a tough one, but
- 1:11at least I did get some sleep last night, and so I should be
- 1:15maybe a bit more concise in my wording. Today. We'll get back into
- 1:21a couple of questions and answers out of the show, out of the book
- 1:23radio replies, which I really enjoy. And then I want to do a
- 1:27really special tribute to one of, well, one of my favorite figures in
- 1:34an American life of the last century, and I think it will tie in
- 1:40particularly well to the themes we have been discussing about progressivism, Masonic order,
- 1:48communism, the decay of morals, the attack against the family, the degradation
- 1:57of everything Christian and good that we've witnessed over the last you know, a
- 2:06couple hundred years now. Really a lot of people think, well, you
- 2:08know, everything was good up into the fifties, Well, not so much.
- 2:13Not so much. That was the time, you know, when the
- 2:17Communists were rising throughout Europe, in Cuba and South America. I mean,
- 2:24we've just gotten out of World War Two and the Socialist National Socialist Workers Party
- 2:31slaughtered you know, six hundred million people and in concentration camps and set the
- 2:37world on fire. You know, it really has been a real mess,
- 2:43driven by the atheist, socialist, progressive Masonic Order mindset at least since the
- 2:53French Revolution. And then of course, you know, as we discussed I
- 2:57guess yesterday, just Kissinger report has come out showing that since nineteen seventy five,
- 3:04the stated goal under the Ford administration and through every administration afterwards, the
- 3:09stated goal of US policy has been to reduce American and world population through abortion,
- 3:17birth control, and attacks on the family, the promotion of homosexuality,
- 3:21etc. Etc. What we once thought was Waco conspiracy theory has been released
- 3:28in declassified government doctorates documents showing that Henry Kissinger and many in the government were
- 3:35behind this and we were just lied to. You know, No wonder George
- 3:40W. Bush never attended the March for Life. He's a major member of
- 3:45the Masonic Order, and he was talking telling us he was going to end
- 3:51abortion, and he never did one thing to even try to end abortion his
- 3:54entire two terms in office. I mean, they talk about the High Amendment
- 4:00totally undermined by this Kissinger document, check it out. As I said,
- 4:03go to Robert Malone's site, and he's got all the information. All the
- 4:06information. But let's get into this. The same person who had been asking
- 4:12the questions counters, this is obviously a communist, at least, being all
- 4:17powerful, just and loving, he that is, God, ought to give
- 4:21everyone a fair chance of obtaining the good things in this world. The priest's
- 4:26answer, being all powerful, there's no reason why you ought to do our
- 4:30bidding. As if we were all powerful, being just, he is not
- 4:32going to give us a ten trumpet and let us think that to be our
- 4:35real good when it is not being loving. He will not allow he would
- 4:41not usually allow man to have those riches which may cause difficulties in the way
- 4:45of salvation. I did not want him to say to me, a men,
- 4:47I say to you, you have had your reward. We are Christians,
- 4:50and Christians are disciples of a crucified Master. We have no right to
- 4:55complain if we also must tread the passive path of suffering. So the fellow
- 5:01goes on, do you tell me that a good God permits to form children
- 5:05with a lifetime of misery before them? God is certainly good, and if
- 5:10he permits evil of any kind is only because he knows that he can draw
- 5:13greater good from it. In the end, the human race misused its freedom,
- 5:17abandoned God, and found not happiness but misery. It is good to
- 5:23be just, and God's justice permitted this misery. Also, in his wisdom,
- 5:28he may permit a child to be born deformed, who, with health
- 5:30and strength, would fling itself into the pleasures, which would end in eternal
- 5:33loss. Again, an imbecile is incapable of sin, and it would often
- 5:39seem to us a mercy had some apparently sane people been born imbeciles. Poor
- 5:44people, whether mentally or bily deformed, not spend the whole of their lives
- 5:46and misery and suffering. We must not judge them by our own experiences.
- 5:51Likewise, we must remember that what we call the whole of their lives is
- 5:56not confined to this earth. There is a continuance of existence in attorney,
- 6:00were all will be rectified. We might say, if God be good,
- 6:03why did he allow his son to go through excruciating torture. Sin is the
- 6:08real evil, not suffering. Christ found happiness, proving his love by suffering
- 6:13a greater good than mere health. And the miseries of this world have driven
- 6:16thousands to God who would have been self sufficient and independent only for their natural
- 6:23and soluble problem of suffering. If only for this reason we can discern an
- 6:28indication of God's goodness in it. Thal says, it is it then God's
- 6:33will that people should suffer from so much terrible diseases as cancer and consumption.
- 6:39We must distinguish between God's positive will and his permissive will. His positive he
- 6:45positively wills all the good that happens suffering he permits to occur, and this
- 6:50only when he foresees that good that can result from it. He positively wills
- 6:55that I should be holy. If he foresees that I would make use of
- 7:00good health to sin and to lose my soul, he may mercifully permit my
- 7:03help to be ruined and thus lead me to him where he would otherwise lose
- 7:08me. There would have been no disease had man not sinned. God will
- 7:12not. God did not will sin, But having made men free, he
- 7:15permitted it and its consequences. This permission was a less serious thing that would
- 7:21have been the depriving us of our freedoms. And you know those are all
- 7:28three in the same theme. So I didn't break him down individually. But
- 7:31I think that is a great logical trap, a snare of the devil,
- 7:39where we sit here and think, if God's all powerful, almighty, why
- 7:43does he allow bad to happen? Well, God allows bad to happen because
- 7:46he gave man free will. He cannot prevent us from doing the most unspeakable
- 7:53evil things and allow us to have free will. At the same time,
- 7:58God doesn't create evil. Man creates evil. God doesn't create an inequality.
- 8:01Man creates inequality. But it's you know, you have to have perspective to
- 8:07see that. If you're in the midst of you know, horrible suffering,
- 8:09you're very sick, you're having financial difficulties, you're you have a sick family
- 8:16member, you're experiencing violence, or you're in danger, and you feel absolutely
- 8:24powerless, it can be very easy to blame God for the situation when you
- 8:31know, in truth, God may be the only reason you're still surviving.
- 8:35And if we could step back and just see with a broader picture, we
- 8:39could see the good that comes from even some of the worst circumstances and situations.
- 8:48But speaking of the snares of the devil, the delusions, the lies
- 8:56that he tells. One of the great radio broadcasters of all time was Paul
- 9:03Harvey. I loved to listen to Paul Harvey. You know. I listened
- 9:07really from my I guess late teens onto a lot of talk radio. Loved
- 9:13you know, Rush Limball, g Gordon Liddy was actually somewhat of a mentor
- 9:16to me. Neil Boortz down in in Atlanta, he was. He was
- 9:20fantastic. But Paul Harvey was not overtly political. Paul Harvey would give these
- 9:30these anecdotes and these stories and these little moral teachings, and he would always
- 9:33end it and now you know the rest of the story. And he was
- 9:39really good everybody. I don't think I don't think I ever heard one person
- 9:45in politics or journalism, which is a very tough industry, that really had
- 9:50a bad word to say about Paul Harvey. He was just beloved by everyone,
- 9:54sort of like you know Vin Scully was as a sports broadcaster or Chip
- 10:00carry Oh my gosh, Chip Carrey was so funny. He was I grew
- 10:05up, of course, you know, a Brace fan, and Chip would
- 10:09say, it's the bottom of the night and the basses are loaded, and
- 10:11so am I. If you left early and didn't see the end of this
- 10:16game, shame on you. And if you stayed around, don't tell your
- 10:18friends what happened. He was so he was just great. He was like
- 10:22the Dean Martin of the baseball world. You'd had these like afternoon ball games.
- 10:31They were called the Businessman Special back when that wasn't politically incorrect. And
- 10:35he looked out there, you see. Yeah, it's amazing to me how
- 10:39many of these businessmen brought their daughters to the game a day, or perhaps
- 10:43they're secretaries. So he was just always going on about stuff. But anyway,
- 10:48back to Paul Harvey. Occasionally he did get political, and when he
- 10:52did he was quite profound. And one of his most famous monologues was done
- 10:58in I Believe nineteen sixty four No. Nineteen sixty five, called If I
- 11:05were the Devil. He said, if I were the devil, if I
- 11:07were the prince of darkness, I would want to engulf the whole world in
- 11:11darkness, and I'd have a third of its real estate and four fifths of
- 11:15its population. But I wouldn't be happy until I had seized the ripest apple
- 11:20on the tree. So I'd set about, however necessary to take over the
- 11:24United States. I'd subvert the churches. First. I'd begin with a campaign
- 11:30of whispers, the whispers of a serpent. I would whisper to you,
- 11:33as I whispered to Eve, do as you please. To the young,
- 11:37I would whisper that the Bibles of myth. I would convince him that man
- 11:39created God instead of the other way around. I would confide that what's bad
- 11:45as good and what's good as square, and the old I would teach to
- 11:48pray after me our father, which are in Washington. And then I'd get
- 11:54organized. I'd educate authors in how to make lord literature exciting, so that
- 11:58anything else would appear dull and uninteresting. I'd threatened TV with dirtier movies,
- 12:03and vice versa. I'd pederal narcotics to whom I could. I'd sell alcohol
- 12:09to the ladies and gentlemen of distinction, and I'd tranquilize the rest with pills.
- 12:13If I were the devil, soon I'd have families at war with themselves,
- 12:16churches at war with themselves, and nations at war with themselves, until
- 12:20each in its turn was consumed, and with promises of higher ratings I'd have
- 12:26mesmerizing media fanning the flames. If I were the Devil, I'd encourage school
- 12:31to refine young intellects, but to neglect to discipline emotions, just let those
- 12:35run wild until before you knew it. You'd have to have drug sniffing dogs
- 12:39and metal detectors at every schoolhouse store. Within a decade, i'd have prisons
- 12:43overflowing. I'd have judges promoting pornography. Soon, I could evict God from
- 12:48the court house and from the schoolhouse, and then from the houses of Congress
- 12:52and in his own churches. I would substitute psychology for religion and deify science.
- 12:58I would lures and pastors into misusing boys and girls and church money.
- 13:03If I were the devil, I'd make the symbols of Easter and egg and
- 13:07the symbol of Christmas a bottle. If I were the devil, I'd take
- 13:11from those who have and give it to those who want, until I killed
- 13:15the incentive of the ambitious. And what do you bet I could get the
- 13:18whole States to promote gambling is a way to get rich. I would caution
- 13:22against the extremes of hard work and patriotism and moral conduct. I would convince
- 13:28the young that marriage is old fashioned and swinging is more fun, and that
- 13:31what you see on TV is the way to be. And thus I could
- 13:35undress you in public, and I could lure you into bed with diseases for
- 13:37which was no cure. In other words, if I were the devil,
- 13:41I'd just keep doing what he's doing. And of course Paul Harvey would say,
- 13:46Paul Harvey, good day. But that was rather prescient, wasn't.
- 13:54I think I'm going to take it just a little bit further. First of
- 13:56all, I would say that, yes, that is very much what has
- 14:03been done, very much the progressive agenda, which is born straight out of
- 14:11the ideology of the Masonic Order and communism, socialism, whatever you want to
- 14:16call it. They have truly taken over our institutions, and they began with
- 14:24the churches and education. I think, though, I would step back and
- 14:26say, what else would I have done if I were the devil? Well,
- 14:31first of all, I think I would have convinced people that the church
- 14:35founded by Jesus Christ had lost its authority. I would convince him that the
- 14:41true religion was to be found only in the words of the Bible, because
- 14:48as the saying goes. Even Satan can quote scripture for his own purposes.
- 14:52That's exactly what he did when he was tempting Jesus in the desert. The
- 14:58devil recognizes Jesus Christ. The devil recognizes the reality of God. He doesn't
- 15:03deny it. How better to subvert half or two thirds of Christianity than to
- 15:11convince them that they had been lied to eat of the through the tree of
- 15:18good and evil. And then you'll have the knowledge and you will be like
- 15:22God's You will know what God knows. That old Catholic Church was just keeping
- 15:28you down and ignorant. Follow you there. Your inner voice, the Holy
- 15:33Spirit will guide you in all things. Found a new church, come up
- 15:37with new doctrines and theology, new teachings. Get rid of what the old
- 15:43that was holding you back. There's a brave new world out there, and
- 15:46you can be free from tradition. You found fifty thousand different Protestant denominations,
- 15:54all of whom disagree with each other, and each one of whom denies the
- 16:00truth of the Catholic Church. With this new freedom, you can define now
- 16:07what morality is. Who cares what Jesus said about divorce? If you want
- 16:12to get divorced, you get divorced. Who cares what the Bible says,
- 16:15even about homosexuality. If your inner voice is guaranteed by the Holy Spirit to
- 16:22be just as true and more true than anything taught by the Catholic Church,
- 16:29do it. That's a pretty seductive argument. And if you really want to
- 16:33know where this world started going wrong, it was when the devil started whispering
- 16:41in the ear of a mentally disturbed young priest and telling him that he was
- 16:49right and the Church was wrong, and he should tear asunder everything that had
- 16:57been built up for fourteen hundred years or so and found a new church,
- 17:03rewrite the Bible, take out the books of the Bible he didn't agree with,
- 17:07go seduce a rather unintelligent none and have a sham marriage just to create
- 17:17scandal, slander Catholic says papists, and create divisions in the body of Christ.
- 17:26And then among nations attack the Eucharist, say that it's merely symbolic.
- 17:36Say Jesus said things he didn't say, and he didn't say things he did
- 17:38say. And how better to subvert the will of God the Church Christianity?
- 17:49Then to convince the arrogance of man that he could form a new and better
- 17:59church than the one God instituted, so as Paul Harvey would say, and
- 18:07now you know the rest of the story. So y'all, in the words
- 18:11of Saint Padre Pio, pray, hope and don't worry, and I'll talk
- 18:15to you next time.
