- 0:00Speaker 1: This is seven to ten. Wr Boy, The Mark Simon
- 0:04Speaker 1: Show starts.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Well, it was a lot going on. There's a new
- 0:18Speaker 1: airport in Palm Beach. It's causing all kinds of uproar.
- 0:23Speaker 1: We'll get to Graham Platner, he's out. We'll get to FIFA,
- 0:25Speaker 1: We'll get to the building collapse. More details coming out.
- 0:29Speaker 1: We'll get to the latest on Iran, Ukraine, and a
- 0:34Speaker 1: whole lot more. So. It happened this morning they officially
- 0:37Speaker 1: changed the name of the Palm Beach Airport, the one
- 0:40Speaker 1: in West Palm Beach, Palm PBI Palm Beach International Airport
- 0:44Speaker 1: is now Donald J. Trump International Airport. The code is
- 0:50Speaker 1: DJT the airport code. I lobbied a lot of people
- 0:54Speaker 1: in the White House to have the code b TDS.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I was on successful. TDS would be a great code
- 1:03Speaker 1: for that airport. Now it was officially renamed. It happened
- 1:09Speaker 1: this morning do J. Trump International Airport. Guess what the
- 1:12Speaker 1: first plane was to land? It was Trump Force one.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Eric Trump got up extremely early. This is the Trump plane,
- 1:22Speaker 1: the Trump company plane. This is Trump Force one, and
- 1:26Speaker 1: he flew down. There was the very first to land
- 1:30Speaker 1: at the new Donald J. Trump International airport. Now, it's
- 1:33Speaker 1: not unusual to name an airport after a president. We
- 1:36Speaker 1: got a whole bunch of them. I think we've got
- 1:38Speaker 1: twelve of them around the country. Usually happens where the
- 1:42Speaker 1: president lived or was born his home state. You know,
- 1:46Speaker 1: there's an Abraham Lincoln Airport in Illinois. It happens frequently.
- 1:50Speaker 1: It's not unusual, not unusual. So, as predicted, a lot
- 1:58Speaker 1: of people are going crazy the left because to get
- 2:02Speaker 1: to this airport, you got to pass fifty signs and
- 2:05Speaker 1: say Donald J. Trump International Airport. You got to take
- 2:08Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump Boulevard to get there. Everywhere you look
- 2:12Speaker 1: when you get in this airport Donald J. Trump International.
- 2:15Speaker 1: So the left, crazy, temper tantrum, crying, left wingers, the
- 2:21Speaker 1: Trump haters can't deal with it. So, believe it or not,
- 2:25Speaker 1: they're traveling another hour or two to go to a
- 2:28Speaker 1: different airport if they have to fly. I'm not kidding.
- 2:31Speaker 1: If they live in the Palm Beach area, there's such
- 2:35Speaker 1: whiny temper tantrum Trump haters, they will not go to
- 2:39Speaker 1: the airport. They'll drive an hour to Fort Lauderdale Airport.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Some even well, listen to one of them. I think
- 2:44Speaker 1: they're crazy. They want to get on N ninety five
- 2:46Speaker 1: and drive an hour south or two hours north. Go
- 2:50Speaker 1: right ahead. But you know what, just because of a
- 2:53Speaker 1: name change to change your airport. Come on, all right,
- 2:56Speaker 1: well that's a normal person. But here's one of these
- 2:58Speaker 1: Trump arrangements syndrome idiots.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I think it's a joke, and I'm gonna fly in
- 3:02Speaker 3: and out of Orlando from now on to get to
- 3:05Speaker 3: my destination.
- 3:09Speaker 1: One of the great things about that Palm Beach Airport
- 3:12Speaker 1: for years is it smaller airport. It's like the Westchester Airport,
- 3:16Speaker 1: very easy to get in and out of, less delays.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It's like an old fashioned, convenient kind of airport without
- 3:23Speaker 1: the terrible lines. And also, if all these Trump arrangements
- 3:27Speaker 1: syndrome idiots are going to go somewhere else, great, great,
- 3:30Speaker 1: it'll be even easier to get in and out of
- 3:31Speaker 1: that airport. Also, you know if you're getting on a
- 3:34Speaker 1: plane out of the Palm Beach Airport that you won't
- 3:37Speaker 1: be sitting next to some left wing crazy I guess
- 3:41Speaker 1: if they're flying down there, Yeah, I have to make arrangements.
- 3:43Speaker 1: They'll they'll have to fly to Fort Lauderdale or Miami,
- 3:47Speaker 1: Orlando and an extra hour two. These are the same
- 3:53Speaker 1: Trump arrangement syndrome idiots. They're yelling and screaming about conserve
- 3:58Speaker 1: fuel and don't use too much, but here they'll drive
- 4:01Speaker 1: an extra hour or two just because they don't like
- 4:04Speaker 1: the name. Now, in response to this, there's a big
- 4:10Speaker 1: movement in a democratic world to rename O'Hare International Airport
- 4:15Speaker 1: after Obama, Chicago's hometown. So it would be Obama International Airport.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And I guess the left fields that they've got to
- 4:26Speaker 1: go tit for tat. I guess they also feel that
- 4:29Speaker 1: this would be he would Obama would win. It's a
- 4:31Speaker 1: bigger airport, you know, it's probably the major hub of
- 4:36Speaker 1: American airlines and airports. So watch for this big push
- 4:41Speaker 1: now to change that name. In Iran, we have been
- 4:46Speaker 1: hitting them hard all night. We've hit about ninety five
- 4:49Speaker 1: targets so far. Military targets were hitting them extremely hard,
- 4:55Speaker 1: and the strikes will continue.
- 4:58Speaker 3: It's going to happen very fa We have the harmo
- 5:02Speaker 3: straight the boats are pulled out. I mean there's a gusher.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Of oil right now.
- 5:07Speaker 3: We have a lot of oil and no anything that
- 5:10Speaker 3: happens is going to happen very fast.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, Iran is making all kinds of threats. It's
- 5:16Speaker 1: a threat. Yeah, there'll be grave consequences. You know, they've
- 5:20Speaker 1: attempted to kill President Trump in the past. They are
- 5:23Speaker 1: now trying to kill them again.
- 5:25Speaker 3: I mentioned it only because it's on the list. I
- 5:27Speaker 3: mean it came out. There was another list came out yesterday,
- 5:30Speaker 3: and I'm I'm number one on. I like being number
- 5:33Speaker 3: one on TikTok better, but I'm number one on the
- 5:36Speaker 3: list for killing.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Yeah. So, and as he said, he got lucky the
- 5:42Speaker 1: last couple of times, but you know, sometimes your luck
- 5:44Speaker 1: runs out. Now, the President was in Turkey for the
- 5:47Speaker 1: NATO conference with the brand new enormous Air Force One,
- 5:51Speaker 1: you know, the plane that cutter landed, the Flying Palace,
- 5:55Speaker 1: the enormous plane. But when it came time to leave
- 5:59Speaker 1: turn yesterday, he had the old Air Force one brought
- 6:03Speaker 1: in so he could leave on that. And he made
- 6:06Speaker 1: up some excuse but didn't didn't pass the smell test
- 6:10Speaker 1: that the reason was the new Air Force one was
- 6:14Speaker 1: in England so that the members of the military could
- 6:17Speaker 1: visit it and see it doesn't ring true. Why would
- 6:22Speaker 1: he then have that old Air Force one brought in
- 6:24Speaker 1: instead of the new one. Apparently they were really really
- 6:28Speaker 1: worried about an attack on Air Force One, and that's
- 6:33Speaker 1: the reason he did it. The new Air Force One,
- 6:35Speaker 1: it's the plane that Cutter lent Us went through incredible rebuilding.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It took a couple hundred million to refit it, put
- 6:45Speaker 1: in all the security stuff, all the communication stuff, and
- 6:49Speaker 1: make it into an Air Force One. Costs a lot
- 6:51Speaker 1: of money, but apparently it doesn't have some of the
- 6:55Speaker 1: things that Air Force One has. One is anti missile defenses.
- 7:00Speaker 1: So they were worried about this new Air Force One
- 7:02Speaker 1: getting hit or the President getting attacked with missiles in
- 7:06Speaker 1: the air over that part of the world. So the
- 7:08Speaker 1: old Air Force One, which has full anti missile defense,
- 7:11Speaker 1: brought in, which means they're taking this threat very very
- 7:16Speaker 1: very seriously. But we're gonna keep going. This bombing, this
- 7:21Speaker 1: war in Iran will continue for days and days and days.
- 7:25Speaker 1: It's gonna get heavier and heavier, and President saying Iran
- 7:30Speaker 1: is calling. They're trying to work out something, but as
- 7:33Speaker 1: it gets real serious, we may have to take out
- 7:35Speaker 1: all their infrastructure, maybe even carg Island, which is where
- 7:39Speaker 1: all of their oil is stored.
- 7:40Speaker 4: We attacked Carg Island. Last night we knocked out a piece.
- 7:43Speaker 5: I said, don't touch the oil because maybe we'll take
- 7:47Speaker 5: over car Island.
- 7:49Speaker 4: We may take over car Island. Is not a thing
- 7:52Speaker 4: they can do about it.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Now, if we took out carg Island, Iran would be
- 7:56Speaker 1: out of the oil business for many years. It would
- 7:58Speaker 1: take a long time to rebuild that and that might
- 8:01Speaker 1: drive the price of oil a little crazy. But we
- 8:03Speaker 1: could seize it too and just take the oil and
- 8:06Speaker 1: distribute it. As I said, they're calling. There's some sort
- 8:12Speaker 1: of a little negotiation going on, but the President Trump
- 8:14Speaker 1: no longer trust them.
- 8:15Speaker 3: As far as I'm concerned, it's over. I'll speak to
- 8:18Speaker 3: our negotiators. They want to negotiate. They're good people, Steve wood, Goff,
- 8:22Speaker 3: Jared Kusher, but they have to come back to me.
- 8:25Speaker 3: As far as I'm concerned, it's just a waste of
- 8:28Speaker 3: time dealing with them.
- 8:28Speaker 4: They're liars. Yeah, so they're not doing a service to
- 8:32Speaker 4: the people.
- 8:33Speaker 3: And I think more than anything else has I got
- 8:35Speaker 3: to know them, and I'm not sure I want to
- 8:38Speaker 3: make a deal with them. We can play games, but
- 8:40Speaker 3: I'm not sure I want to make a deal. Let's
- 8:41Speaker 3: just finish the job.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Well, and so people have been yelling for the weeks
- 8:45Speaker 1: and weeks and weeks and weeks of the ceasefire, finish
- 8:48Speaker 1: the job, finish the job. Now that he's going to
- 8:50Speaker 1: finish the job, they'll be yelling, what the hell you're doing,
- 8:52Speaker 1: Stop finishing the job. But this looks pretty good. If
- 8:57Speaker 1: you're watching MSNBC or CNN or reading the New York Times,
- 9:01Speaker 1: all you see these articles about how the problem is
- 9:05Speaker 1: he's not negotiating from strength like the previous administrations. He's
- 9:08Speaker 1: negotiating from weakness, not strength. Well, it wasn't negotiating from strength.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Paying ransom, putting billions of dollars on a plane and
- 9:17Speaker 1: sending it, that's just paying ransom. Blowing them the hell up.
- 9:21Speaker 1: That's pretty much a position of strength. They're all hiding
- 9:24Speaker 1: in caves from bombings, so it's a position of strength
- 9:28Speaker 1: that we have Hey over there. In those NATO talks,
- 9:33Speaker 1: he told Spain we would cut them off completely. They
- 9:35Speaker 1: weren't contributing their money to NATO. We were going to
- 9:39Speaker 1: cut them off all together. Apparently, just this morning, Spain
- 9:44Speaker 1: has caved in. They will now pay their full share.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Zelensky and Trump met they got along pretty well. Zelensky
- 9:51Speaker 1: is doing very very well in that war against Russia.
- 9:55Speaker 1: He's built his own factories, produces his own drones. Well,
- 10:00Speaker 1: maybe those patriot missiles. President agreeing with him, maybe will
- 10:04Speaker 1: show them how to build patriot missile factories.
- 10:07Speaker 5: A little birdie told me this about the fact that
- 10:11Speaker 5: we'll give them the right to make patriots, will show
- 10:14Speaker 5: them how to do it. It's very complex, actually, but
- 10:17Speaker 5: it's uh, you'll figure out the complexity quickly.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yeah. So if they because they were very good at
- 10:23Speaker 1: figuring out how to build drones and opening their own factories,
- 10:26Speaker 1: so drones and patriot missiles, they'll be all set. Russia
- 10:30Speaker 1: won't be able to make any progress. In fact, they'll
- 10:33Speaker 1: probably start losing territory, which is why Putin is talking
- 10:36Speaker 1: to Trump again.
- 10:37Speaker 4: We have a lot of pressure on President Putin.
- 10:40Speaker 7: You know, I don't think he likes what's going on.
- 10:43Speaker 7: I don't think he likes I don't think he's thrilled
- 10:45Speaker 7: with what's happening. There's a lot of pressure on President
- 10:49Speaker 7: Putin to get it done. I think there's pressure on
- 10:51Speaker 7: everybody to get that one done.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it's pretty embarrassing for Putin. It was supposed to
- 10:55Speaker 1: be this massive superpower, incredible powerful military, and they've been
- 10:59Speaker 1: an stealemate with this little rinkydinky Ukraine for five years now.
- 11:04Speaker 3: You know, I used an analogy and it sounds simple,
- 11:07Speaker 3: but it's sort of true.
- 11:08Speaker 5: You have two kids in a park and they don't
- 11:11Speaker 5: like each other, or they start fighting.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Sometimes you have to let them fight. Let them see
- 11:16Speaker 4: that it's tough. You know, it's tough. Fighting is tough.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I see what he means. Though, if you
- 11:23Speaker 1: can settle this, at least Putin, who had always talked
- 11:26Speaker 1: about taking another piece of territory going into another country,
- 11:30Speaker 1: may have learned his lesson and that may all be
- 11:33Speaker 1: on hold for now. Hey, that building collapse forty second
- 11:39Speaker 1: between second and third, close to traffic. Looks like they're
- 11:42Speaker 1: going to reopen it a little because yesterday and overnight
- 11:45Speaker 1: they think they have They haven't fixed the problem. The
- 11:49Speaker 1: problem was the steel was buckling, the beams were buckling.
- 11:52Speaker 1: They think they've put a temporary something in there to
- 11:55Speaker 1: hold those beams up. They think they've stabilized the building.
- 11:59Speaker 1: This is now, well, this is nowhere near fixing the problem.
- 12:02Speaker 1: You still got that problem. They may have to take
- 12:04Speaker 1: down the twenty floors they put on top, they may
- 12:07Speaker 1: have to take down the whole building. Who knows. This
- 12:09Speaker 1: is going to take a long investigation by experts, but
- 12:13Speaker 1: they think they've stabilized it. So they've opened up the
- 12:16Speaker 1: area to some traffic so it's not as bad as
- 12:19Speaker 1: it was now. This developer apparently has another building where
- 12:25Speaker 1: he's been you know, all sorts of claims. He's facing
- 12:28Speaker 1: almost four hundred million dollars in claims for taking short
- 12:32Speaker 1: cuts on the construction. So this developer, it is the
- 12:35Speaker 1: craziest thing I've ever seen where this building collapse, this
- 12:39Speaker 1: old Pfizer building, decided to build twenty new stories on
- 12:42Speaker 1: top of part of it, and the beams couldn't hold
- 12:47Speaker 1: twenty stories of a building above it. They weren't able
- 12:49Speaker 1: to hold that kind of weight. You would think architects,
- 12:52Speaker 1: engineers could know that and figure that out ahead of time.
- 12:55Speaker 1: But if this is the case with this other building
- 12:59Speaker 1: where he takes shortcuts and doesn't use the best people,
- 13:02Speaker 1: well you're going to see probably a billion dollars worth
- 13:05Speaker 1: of lawsuits here. But building thirty seven stories the Nathan
- 13:11Speaker 1: Berman is the managing principal and founder of this company.
- 13:15Speaker 1: What he said, sounded a little crazy. He said, it's
- 13:21Speaker 1: not a bad it's not a big thing. It's not
- 13:23Speaker 1: a total collapse. It's a localized collapse. That's a collapse.
- 13:29Speaker 1: There's either no collapse or it's a collapse. It's a
- 13:31Speaker 1: localized collapse. And he said this incident is nothing more
- 13:37Speaker 1: than a typical construction mishap. All right, that's about the
- 13:42Speaker 1: dumbest statement anybody could make. The last thing this is
- 13:46Speaker 1: is a typical construction mishap. Typical construction mishap is you
- 13:51Speaker 1: forget to tie down some materials in a big wind,
- 13:54Speaker 1: some bricks or something flies off the scaffold. Collapse is
- 13:59Speaker 1: not a typical construction mishap. So if he's saying absolutely idiotic,
- 14:05Speaker 1: insane things like that, you know, you can't listen to
- 14:07Speaker 1: anything this guy says. The city officials looking at it,
- 14:12Speaker 1: they said, the way the buildings constructed, steel frame building,
- 14:16Speaker 1: it's not likely that it would topple. If there's a
- 14:19Speaker 1: collapse of some kind, it it would pancake down. That's
- 14:24Speaker 1: the way the World Trade Center was built, you know,
- 14:27Speaker 1: back in nine to eleven. Had it not been built
- 14:29Speaker 1: that way, it would toppled. It would have gone for
- 14:32Speaker 1: five six blocks, but it pancaked down on itself. So
- 14:36Speaker 1: this building would do that. But they believe they've got
- 14:40Speaker 1: the temporary fix to just stabilize it and give them
- 14:43Speaker 1: some time to figure out what to do. A lot
- 14:46Speaker 1: of this building's going to have to come down most likely.
- 14:50Speaker 1: There's probably no other way to fix this. Hey, well,
- 14:53Speaker 1: take some calls. Next eight hundred three two one zero
- 14:56Speaker 1: seven ten is the number eight hundred three one zero
- 15:01Speaker 1: seven to ten.
- 15:02Speaker 2: It's the Mark Simon Show Live from ther Life back studio.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Frank in Arizona. Frank,
- 15:15Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 15:17Speaker 8: Good morning, Mark, Mark not a platinus dropped out of
- 15:20Speaker 8: the race. Does he get to keep any of the
- 15:22Speaker 8: money he raised?
- 15:23Speaker 1: Yeah, you can keep the money.
- 15:25Speaker 2: He hit a lottery basically, well, yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 1: You can keep your money. Now you're supposed to only
- 15:31Speaker 1: this is just you keep it on the basis that
- 15:33Speaker 1: you'll be running another campaign in the future and you're
- 15:35Speaker 1: keeping it for that. Uh, and you're really only allowed
- 15:38Speaker 1: to spend it on campaign expenses. But you can you
- 15:41Speaker 1: can stretch that out. You could pay for your office,
- 15:43Speaker 1: your car, your driver, your secretary. You can pay for
- 15:46Speaker 1: it with that, and.
- 15:47Speaker 9: He says he wants his wife to run instead of him.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so that way, good luck keep raising money. Yeah,
- 15:54Speaker 1: we'll talk about blattin. They're coming up. It's a ridiculous situation. Democrats,
- 15:59Speaker 1: you know, they go nuts when they try to copy Republicans,
- 16:03Speaker 1: you know, and they tried to during the Bush years. Well,
- 16:05Speaker 1: we'll find a military guy. They find John Kerry, who
- 16:08Speaker 1: had been in the military for two weeks fifty years
- 16:11Speaker 1: ago and looked ridiculous. And the same thing with Platnir.
- 16:14Speaker 1: We'll find a working man. This was their idea of
- 16:16Speaker 1: a working man, This Cape Fear looking lunatic. Let's go
- 16:20Speaker 1: to rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich How you doing.
- 16:25Speaker 8: Hey, Thanks Mark. You know, I'm glad Trump is finally
- 16:27Speaker 8: I'm the biggest Trump supporter, is I one the guy
- 16:29Speaker 8: who run twenty five years ago. I'm glad to see
- 16:31Speaker 8: he's finally gonna you know what, and get off the
- 16:33Speaker 8: pot and go do what he's supposed to do. I
- 16:34Speaker 8: went shopping with my buddy Ray yesterday. Gus was three
- 16:38Speaker 8: point thirty one. We came back an hour and a
- 16:40Speaker 8: half later, it was three fifty nine. It went up
- 16:43Speaker 8: twenty eight cents in an hour as soon as he
- 16:46Speaker 8: dropped the first bomb. Now Trump's gonna have to I
- 16:49Speaker 8: called my senators, get on your companies. If we're producing
- 16:52Speaker 8: our own oil, we shouldn't be having any.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Is the problem. We produced Not only are all our
- 16:58Speaker 1: own oil, we produced more than we could ever use.
- 17:00Speaker 1: We're the biggest seller of oil in the world. If
- 17:02Speaker 1: you tell them you got to cut the price, they'll
- 17:05Speaker 1: just pump less. They'll they'll just drill less, and they'll
- 17:08Speaker 1: cut down the supply. They'll raise the price that way.
- 17:14Speaker 1: So either way you're going to have that.
- 17:15Speaker 8: Yeah, we need to get the prices down for somewhere
- 17:17Speaker 8: tourism and traffic, I understand.
- 17:18Speaker 1: But if you make them cut the price deliberately, they'll
- 17:21Speaker 1: just cut the supply and then eventually the price will
- 17:23Speaker 1: come back up.
- 17:24Speaker 8: Just that would be a falsehood mark because we will
- 17:28Speaker 8: well know this.
- 17:29Speaker 1: We all know this.
- 17:30Speaker 8: No, you can't claim all right, we all know that.
- 17:32Speaker 1: But that's the problem there. So it's But the only
- 17:36Speaker 1: good news out of all of this with the Iran
- 17:38Speaker 1: war is we are the biggest supplier of oil in
- 17:41Speaker 1: the world, and more countries are now buying from US
- 17:43Speaker 1: thirty percent more oil being sold now by US oil companies.
- 17:47Speaker 1: We are now the biggest supplier of oil all over
- 17:50Speaker 1: the world. A lot of people realizing you've got to
- 17:52Speaker 1: be careful with Iran oil because it makes things like
- 17:55Speaker 1: this could happen. The only reliable, steady stream is from
- 17:59Speaker 1: the US, so thirty per sent more countries now buying
- 18:01Speaker 1: their oil from US. Let's go to Bob in Connecticut. Bob,
- 18:05Speaker 1: how you doing Mark?
- 18:07Speaker 10: It's corrupt, It's not Connecticut.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Well, people may not realize you've had a couple of
- 18:13Speaker 1: governors go to jail, like every mayor of Bridgeport, the
- 18:17Speaker 1: Waterbury of Hartford, a lot of mayors have gone to
- 18:20Speaker 1: jail there. It's a big pocket of corruption there.
- 18:24Speaker 10: Yes, definitely. But I think it's a great idea to
- 18:28Speaker 10: change the name of the airport because think about this,
- 18:32Speaker 10: if you want to aggravate the socialist communist Democrats, that
- 18:39Speaker 10: every city has a Martin Luther King Boulevard. And he
- 18:44Speaker 10: was a registered Republican because he knew these people were evil.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Don't tell people he was a Republican.
- 18:52Speaker 9: They don't know that he was.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Oh I know, but they don't like that. Yeah, he
- 18:55Speaker 1: was anti abortion, he was he was a real Republican.
- 18:58Speaker 1: But don't tell anybody. Yeah, they'll see if they find out.
- 19:01Speaker 10: That's why the Democrats in their army, which is the Klan,
- 19:06Speaker 10: had him killed.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Well, we don't know, we don't know exactly what happened there.
- 19:10Speaker 1: But Lincoln was a Republican. Martin Luther King was a Republican.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Don't tell everybody that. They get all upset if they
- 19:16Speaker 1: hear that. Let's go to Pat in Westchester. Pat.
- 19:19Speaker 11: How you doing, hey, Mark, You know that Pisa building
- 19:23Speaker 11: that's about to collapse. There was a plan that's a
- 19:27Speaker 11: residential makeover. Yeah, after what happened. If you recall them
- 19:32Speaker 11: a few years back with hamming in Florida, the entire
- 19:34Speaker 11: building tipped over. Savvy New York is good luck to
- 19:38Speaker 11: the guide frying to Sollo's the promise of people.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Yeah, they'll have to like tear down everything they put.
- 19:42Speaker 1: What they did is they try to add another twenty
- 19:44Speaker 1: floors on one side of the building. It's a strange,
- 19:49Speaker 1: these big office buildings, the idea of converting them to residential.
- 19:53Speaker 1: It's a tough thing to do. It's not easy because
- 19:57Speaker 1: in an office building now here we are in a
- 19:59Speaker 1: big skyscrap. But right here we're on the sixth floor
- 20:01Speaker 1: of a major skyscraper. There's only one bathroom. Well, it's two.
- 20:06Speaker 1: There's a ladies room and a men's room. Way down
- 20:09Speaker 1: on that end of the floor. It's the men's room
- 20:11Speaker 1: and ladies room. And that's it. Now, if you have
- 20:14Speaker 1: a residential building, you got to have a bathroom, Like
- 20:18Speaker 1: every fifty feet you got to you know, if you
- 20:20Speaker 1: have fifty apartments on the floor, you got to build
- 20:23Speaker 1: fifty bathrooms, and then you have to build fifty kitchens.
- 20:26Speaker 1: So you have to add all of this stuff to
- 20:28Speaker 1: each floor. It's not easy to do, and then you
- 20:31Speaker 1: have to lay it out differently. It's really tough to
- 20:35Speaker 1: convert an office building residential, and this one it looked
- 20:39Speaker 1: like kind of a ridiculous project. It's a thirty seven
- 20:41Speaker 1: story building and then we're going to convert it to
- 20:45Speaker 1: sixteen hundred residential units. Have you ever heard of a
- 20:48Speaker 1: building with sixteen hundred apartments in it? That's a lot.
- 20:52Speaker 1: It's kind of ridiculous. It's great if you're the doorman
- 20:55Speaker 1: because it's sixteen hundred tenants at Christmas time, don't have
- 20:58Speaker 1: to tip you. But it sounds a little crazy. Let's
- 21:01Speaker 1: go to Joseph in Manhattan. Joseph, how you doing?
- 21:05Speaker 9: Okay, Mark, good morning? Now not democrat Nazi tattoo. Graham
- 21:11Speaker 9: Cracker has cracked. We can go back to simpler times.
- 21:15Speaker 9: I like, remember when Democrat Anthony Wiener was checks texting, Yeah.
- 21:22Speaker 1: These Democrats. I'm sure Republicans you can name a few
- 21:24Speaker 1: of too, but maybe with the sex stuff. But I can't.
- 21:28Speaker 1: You don't. You're not gonna be able to come up
- 21:29Speaker 1: with a Republican with a big Nazi SS death camp
- 21:34Speaker 1: tattoo right in the middle of his chest. And yeah,
- 21:39Speaker 1: this is a I mean, it's kind of fun watching
- 21:41Speaker 1: democrats just shoot themselves in the foot here. But well,
- 21:45Speaker 1: we'll get into it a little later. We'll get the
- 21:46Speaker 1: platiner in the next hour. Hey, when we come back
- 21:48Speaker 1: to hunt for Steve Moore, we'll have we'll talk to
- 21:50Speaker 1: the brilliant economist Steve Moore. Lots to talk to him
- 21:53Speaker 1: about coming up next to gas prices oil. We'll get
- 21:56Speaker 1: to all of that on seven to ten w.
- 21:58Speaker 2: R or marsimone on sevent tenor.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Well, Steve Moore, the great economist, brilliant economist, and he's
- 22:11Speaker 1: got a wonderful book that you should read the Trump
- 22:15Speaker 1: Economic Miracle. It really explained to you, see you clearly
- 22:18Speaker 1: the Trump Economic miracle. And he runs the Committee to
- 22:21Speaker 1: Unleash Prosperity and they put out the best daily briefing
- 22:25Speaker 1: news analysis. You'll sound super smart if you read this
- 22:28Speaker 1: every day and it's free. Come write to your email.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Just go sign up Unleash Prosperity dot com and sign
- 22:35Speaker 1: up for the hotline. Steve Moore, how you doing.
- 22:38Speaker 8: Hey, Mark? Doing well?
- 22:40Speaker 1: Really good.
- 22:41Speaker 12: I think the economy's looking better every day, although in
- 22:44Speaker 12: a little worried about the issue with what's going on
- 22:46Speaker 12: and around. But if we can get that oil price down,
- 22:49Speaker 12: I think all systems are going. We've got a construction
- 22:52Speaker 12: boom going on in manufacturing, investment boom, as Larry Cudler
- 22:55Speaker 12: would say, so we got a stock market boom. So
- 22:58Speaker 12: I like, what's going on in America. Got to do
- 23:00Speaker 12: something about getting that straight of hormones. Every time we
- 23:03Speaker 12: think we're past that crisis, it seems to were uped again.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Okay, but we intensified bombing. If this goes for let's
- 23:11Speaker 1: say eight weeks at the most, we could get through that,
- 23:13Speaker 1: can't we?
- 23:14Speaker 12: Yeah, And well listen I mean, I'm not an expert
- 23:17Speaker 12: on foreign policy, but I'm here to say that when
- 23:19Speaker 12: when that you know, energy, those own energy channels are
- 23:23Speaker 12: back open, there's a very good chance we're going to
- 23:26Speaker 12: see a real economic boom. By the way, you know,
- 23:29Speaker 12: we had to ball up at over fifty three thousand.
- 23:31Speaker 12: I think it's fallen a little bit since then, but
- 23:33Speaker 12: that's so incredible. I mean, when I first came to Washington,
- 23:35Speaker 12: it was one thousand, fifty three thousand. That shows you
- 23:38Speaker 12: the power of the American economy.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Well, hey, explain this to me. Years ago, many many
- 23:44Speaker 1: years ago. Nelson Rockefeller his dream was to run for president,
- 23:47Speaker 1: but he had been divorced. Yeah, they said, well a
- 23:49Speaker 1: divorce man, it's just too much. You can't run for president.
- 23:52Speaker 1: How is it now? You could have a Nazi tattoo
- 23:54Speaker 1: on your chest while you're raping something and it's fine,
- 23:58Speaker 1: that's that's no problem.
- 23:59Speaker 12: What happened, Well, this is a real shame of the
- 24:03Speaker 12: Democratic Party, by the way that you know, uh, what's
- 24:06Speaker 12: his name again, Graham?
- 24:08Speaker 8: What's the.
- 24:11Speaker 12: Gat Yeah, I mean, first of all, you know, he
- 24:14Speaker 12: emerges on the scene and he's the darling of the Democrats, right,
- 24:16Speaker 12: he's the next big thing in the Democratic Party, and
- 24:19Speaker 12: he's a working man's guy and out of the h
- 24:22Speaker 12: don't don't you know, never mind the fact that he
- 24:23Speaker 12: has a Nazi tattoo, and never mind that he has
- 24:26Speaker 12: all these allegations of uh, you know, abusing women, et cetera,
- 24:29Speaker 12: et cetera. But you know, all the Democrats in the Senate, Oh,
- 24:32Speaker 12: he's wonderful. Bernie Sander says he's my guy, and so
- 24:35Speaker 12: does Elizabeth Warren. But then he starts falling in the polls, right,
- 24:39Speaker 12: and all of a sudden, the bloom is off the rose.
- 24:42Speaker 8: So what do they do.
- 24:43Speaker 12: They throw him under the bus, and they say, we
- 24:44Speaker 12: got to get rid of this guy. And so now
- 24:48Speaker 12: he's out and now the Democratic establishment will pick their
- 24:51Speaker 12: own candidate.
- 24:52Speaker 8: Gee.
- 24:52Speaker 12: That sounds a lot like what they did to Joe Biden.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Right, Hey, let me just I noticed the way these
- 24:59Speaker 1: socialists fact socialists. The way that socialism works is everybody
- 25:04Speaker 1: gets nothing and the people running it get everything. You know,
- 25:07Speaker 1: city council take it rich. Yeah, city councils voting themselves
- 25:10Speaker 1: are raised. Even this crazy governor wants everybody to turn
- 25:13Speaker 1: their thermostat up. People are reporting Oh my god. Reporters
- 25:17Speaker 1: have gone into city Hall and checked the temperature that
- 25:19Speaker 1: bring thermometers. They have it at sixty eight. Why do
- 25:22Speaker 1: we have to be seventy eight? Yeah, this is a
- 25:25Speaker 1: big story. We have this in our hotline today. By
- 25:27Speaker 1: the way, people can get that just go to on
- 25:30Speaker 1: least Puster thirty dot com and get for free. But
- 25:32Speaker 1: this story about Hockel, what she wants to do is regulate,
- 25:36Speaker 1: have the government regulate the temperature house.
- 25:39Speaker 8: So do you remember I'm Mark, I think.
- 25:40Speaker 12: You and I'm a little maybe a little bit older
- 25:42Speaker 12: than you. Remember Jimmy Carter and his fireside chats. That's
- 25:45Speaker 12: a car to good sweater or the energy exist that
- 25:47Speaker 12: you know, everybody's got to turn down their thermostat, you know,
- 25:51Speaker 12: turing the you know, cold winter months because we're running
- 25:53Speaker 12: out of energy. That seems to be the canty Hochel,
- 25:57Speaker 12: you know idea that she we're gonna and now they've
- 26:00Speaker 12: got this kind of Orwellian idea that if you pay that,
- 26:05Speaker 12: if you pay the utility companies, they will pay you
- 26:08Speaker 12: three hundred dollars a year if you'll let them regulate
- 26:11Speaker 12: the temperature of your house.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Yes, So now what you say is they're not suggesting
- 26:15Speaker 1: seventy eight they would install a thermostat that they can
- 26:18Speaker 1: control from somewhere.
- 26:19Speaker 12: Yes, exactly what I mean, that's like George Orgewell or
- 26:22Speaker 12: well stuff. I mean, so what Hoka wants is to say,
- 26:26Speaker 12: you should really shouldn't have your temperature and the Europeans
- 26:29Speaker 12: have been doing this too, you know, not set below
- 26:32Speaker 12: seventy eight degrees in the summer and not above sixty
- 26:35Speaker 12: eight degrees in the winter. What you have to wear
- 26:41Speaker 12: a parker in your house in the winter, and you're
- 26:43Speaker 12: gonna have to or paintstop in your house in the summer.
- 26:46Speaker 12: I mean, this is craziness, it really is. And so
- 26:51Speaker 12: the idea that the government can go can regulate the
- 26:54Speaker 12: temperature your house, I mean, are there no individual rights
- 26:56Speaker 12: and there are no limits on the power of government.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Yeah, And if they do that, if they got away
- 27:01Speaker 1: with that, they would next do it to your television,
- 27:03Speaker 1: set your oven every time. We so, so this November,
- 27:09Speaker 1: everybody start here. Everybody throw Kathy Hokle out and vote
- 27:12Speaker 1: in Bruce Blakeman in November. Let's start there and hopefully
- 27:17Speaker 1: it starts a movement to get rid of these these
- 27:19Speaker 1: socialists will all just wear themselves out, and you know
- 27:24Speaker 1: they'll be gone in two years, won't they?
- 27:28Speaker 8: I hope.
- 27:28Speaker 12: So, I mean, I think one of the tragedies of
- 27:30Speaker 12: our country right now, frankly, Mark, is that we've got
- 27:34Speaker 12: our great cities like New York, in Chicago and Los
- 27:36Speaker 12: Angeles and now including Seattle, that are run by basically
- 27:43Speaker 12: left wing socialists, and they're destroying our great cities. I mean,
- 27:47Speaker 12: it's a very sad thing to see. And so, you
- 27:51Speaker 12: know what, the survival of our cities really is dependent
- 27:54Speaker 12: on getting rid of these people. I mean, look at
- 27:57Speaker 12: you know, I love this headline the other day and
- 28:00Speaker 12: the New York Times. It is that you know, gee,
- 28:02Speaker 12: all the landlords are really surprised and the government officials
- 28:05Speaker 12: that people aren't paying their rent. Well, gee, maybe if
- 28:07Speaker 12: you tell people you don't have to pay your rent
- 28:09Speaker 12: and you'll never be evicted, people won't pay their rent. Yeah,
- 28:12Speaker 12: that's what's happening.
- 28:14Speaker 1: So hey, you probably saw this building collapse we have here.
- 28:18Speaker 1: They're so busy worrying about my thermostat why aren't they
- 28:21Speaker 1: doing a bad job of approving if you look at
- 28:23Speaker 1: what they did adding twenty stories on top of whill
- 28:27Speaker 1: approve that. Why don't they work on that approval process
- 28:31Speaker 1: a little more.
- 28:33Speaker 6: Well, that's a great point.
- 28:35Speaker 12: And you know, the government is so involved in things
- 28:40Speaker 12: like climate change policy and so on, they're neglecting the
- 28:44Speaker 12: things that really matter, which is safety. And you know,
- 28:46Speaker 12: you guys have very strict climate change policies in New York.
- 28:50Speaker 12: You wouldn't be running out of energy today. By the way,
- 28:52Speaker 12: in New York, you wouldn't have to be regulating people's thermostats.
- 28:55Speaker 12: New York has a lot of energy. You know, you've
- 28:58Speaker 12: got you're right there in the shale formation, and you've
- 29:01Speaker 12: seen the charts in our book that show that. You
- 29:04Speaker 12: know that Pennsylvania is taking all your energy. You know
- 29:08Speaker 12: that they're drilling the known in New York and taking
- 29:10Speaker 12: out your energy because you won't drill for it. You
- 29:12Speaker 12: wouldn't have to be paying so high utility bills in
- 29:16Speaker 12: New York if you just went through your by the way,
- 29:19Speaker 12: est him, it's three billion dollars a year you've lost
- 29:21Speaker 12: because of these crazy climate change which, by the way,
- 29:24Speaker 12: are doing nothing to change the temperature of the planet.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Yeah, we're sitting on top of natural guests. Also that
- 29:29Speaker 1: crazy Andrew Cuomo closed Indian point that nuclear plant was
- 29:33Speaker 1: twenty five percent of our energy. What was the argument
- 29:35Speaker 1: against nuclear It's as clean as can be, isn't it?
- 29:38Speaker 12: It sure is. And by the way, I don't think
- 29:40Speaker 12: I've seen the latest polls, but for the first time
- 29:42Speaker 12: in fifty years of a majority of Americans now support
- 29:46Speaker 12: climate change. I mean nuclear power. That's pretty amazing thing.
- 29:51Speaker 12: The nuclear power is clean, it's sufficient, it's cheap, it's abundant.
- 29:54Speaker 12: You don't run out of it. I don't think we're
- 29:56Speaker 12: running out of atoms.
- 29:57Speaker 1: To you, if you were to drill we're sitting on
- 30:03Speaker 1: top of all this natural gas. If you were to
- 30:05Speaker 1: drill that, not only would you fix our energy problem.
- 30:08Speaker 1: But doesn't that doesn't that create a ton of jobs
- 30:11Speaker 1: all over the state.
- 30:13Speaker 8: Oh?
- 30:13Speaker 6: Sure it does.
- 30:14Speaker 12: And look at by the way, if you think I'm exaggerating, folks,
- 30:16Speaker 12: look what happened in Germany because Germany went all in
- 30:18Speaker 12: on wind power and solar power about fifteen years ago,
- 30:21Speaker 12: and they've damn near deindustrialized the whole state. I mean
- 30:25Speaker 12: the whole country. You know, they couldn't make dmw's and
- 30:27Speaker 12: stuff because the energy was so expensive. They're finally coming
- 30:30Speaker 12: around to saying, wait a minute, this isn't really working,
- 30:32Speaker 12: so let's not follow the losers. And that's what New
- 30:36Speaker 12: York does too often. There's nothing that could New York
- 30:38Speaker 12: can make a big comeback. Just get somebody in there
- 30:41Speaker 12: will cut taxes, cut regulation, get rid of these crazy
- 30:44Speaker 12: green energy policies, and we will see a New York
- 30:47Speaker 12: get rich again.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Yeah, Bruce Blakeman in November, like our Ron DeSantis, he
- 30:52Speaker 1: could turn this whole thing around.
- 30:53Speaker 12: I mean, by the way, I love the last thing
- 30:54Speaker 12: I know, runt in town. I saw a speech by
- 30:56Speaker 12: Lee Zelden. He spoke at our conference last week on
- 31:00Speaker 12: you know what was called Prosperity to fifty and he
- 31:04Speaker 12: was talked about all the things they're doing to deregulate
- 31:06Speaker 12: the economy. And because he said ahead of EPA, that
- 31:09Speaker 12: guy is so damn impross. He's so smart. And I'm
- 31:12Speaker 12: like the voters of New York voted for Kathy Hochel.
- 31:15Speaker 6: For this guy.
- 31:17Speaker 12: You know, if Lee Zelden were governor today, boy, New
- 31:20Speaker 12: York would be in great shape.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Yeah, well, thanks for rubbing it in. Don't make that mistake.
- 31:26Speaker 8: Come from Illinois.
- 31:27Speaker 1: We're not much better. Yeah. Hey, this daily hotline that
- 31:33Speaker 1: you put out the news analysis like four or five stories.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Great analysis that is so well written, you guys. I
- 31:39Speaker 1: don't know how you put that together. And it's free.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Anybody can get it. Just go to Unleash prosperity dot
- 31:44Speaker 1: com sign up for the hotline Unleashed Prosperity dot com
- 31:49Speaker 1: and Steve Moore great work and the book Trump The
- 31:52Speaker 1: Trump Economic Miracle.
- 31:54Speaker 6: Everybody there, you go, and it is a miracle.
- 31:56Speaker 1: It is all right, Steve Moore, thanks for being with us.
- 31:59Speaker 12: All right, Thanks Mark, have a great weekend.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Take care, Hey, Buck and Clay will be here at
- 32:04Speaker 1: noon today. I love listening to them. You learn a
- 32:06Speaker 1: lot noon to three. Then at three o'clock you got
- 32:09Speaker 1: the most listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity.
- 32:13Speaker 1: You got Jesse Kelly at six, got Jimmy Fayla at
- 32:17Speaker 1: nine o'clock. What a funny show, What a great show. Actually,
- 32:20Speaker 1: he'll be with us in the next hour. He'll be
- 32:22Speaker 1: our guest. But you could got to listen to him
- 32:24Speaker 1: every night nine to midnight right here on seven ten WR.
- 32:28Speaker 4: He knows his way around all this.
- 32:32Speaker 2: It's the Mark the Monk Show on seven ten wor.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Well, I really understand this story. So the kid is
- 32:41Speaker 1: taking flying lessons, good guys, pilot license, but he's still
- 32:46Speaker 1: working with an instructor. It's in Argentina.
- 32:51Speaker 13: There.
- 32:51Speaker 1: He's giving him a flying lesson and at some point
- 32:53Speaker 1: the instructor says, well, you know what you have to do.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Carry on, you're on your own. The instructor buckles his
- 33:00Speaker 1: seat belt, takes off his helmet, opens the plane door,
- 33:03Speaker 1: and jumps out to his death. He kills himself. I
- 33:07Speaker 1: don't know, I beg I guess he wanted to commit suicide,
- 33:10Speaker 1: but what a what a way to do it. So
- 33:13Speaker 1: the kid, who's had a lot of training as a pilot,
- 33:17Speaker 1: manages to call the control tower tell him what happened,
- 33:20Speaker 1: manages to land the plane himself. They were pretty impressed
- 33:24Speaker 1: with his staying cool under all of that. But what
- 33:28Speaker 1: a ridiculous story. Now do you know about this other
- 33:30Speaker 1: Taco Bell explosive diarrhea story that's all over the news.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Not that I would go to Taco Bell anyway. Chuck
- 33:37Speaker 1: poult lay much better, but they're pulling certain ingredients that
- 33:41Speaker 1: cause explosive diarrhea. It's getting close to lunchtime. Forget this story.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Forget this. I never said this. Hey, it's gonna be
- 33:50Speaker 1: not bad today. It's sunny. Now, there's gonna be a
- 33:52Speaker 1: couple of storms, thunderstorm rain maybe later in the day,
- 33:56Speaker 1: and then tomorrow there could be storms, just well isolated
- 34:01Speaker 1: shower or thunderstorm tomorrow. But then the weekend looks great.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Saturday and Sunday should be sunny. Eighties should be good,
- 34:09Speaker 1: good summer weather, nothing to worry about. I don't go away.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Coming up in the next hour, we'll get to that
- 34:13Speaker 1: crazy Graham Platiner, We'll get to Jimmy Fayla will be
- 34:17Speaker 1: with us in the next hour. Lots to talk to
- 34:19Speaker 1: him about. I'm here every day ten to noon. You
- 34:22Speaker 1: should be too, or get the podcast. You listen anytime
- 34:25Speaker 1: back after the new seven.
- 34:26Speaker 2: To Marximo Live from the WR Life Back studios.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Hey, it's Thursday already. That's good news. And it'll be
- 34:41Speaker 1: rain today tomorrow, but it'll be a nice weekend. We
- 34:43Speaker 1: got a lot to get to. Jimmy Fayla coming up
- 34:45Speaker 1: in a few minutes, we'll get to FIFA, we'll get
- 34:48Speaker 1: to crazy Kathy Hochel, and we'll get to Iran. Of course. Now,
- 34:55Speaker 1: Graham Plattner has suspended his campaign. That means he's ended
- 34:59Speaker 1: the race. He's dropped. When you leave and you drop out,
- 35:03Speaker 1: you say suspended. You don't say him, I'm dropping out.
- 35:06Speaker 1: You say suspended, because if you actually just quit, drop out,
- 35:10Speaker 1: all kinds of legal things kicking. You got to start
- 35:13Speaker 1: returning money, all that stuff. If you say you're suspending
- 35:15Speaker 1: the campaign, you can hang on to the money, and
- 35:18Speaker 1: it makes it just easier to do it that way.
- 35:20Speaker 1: But when anybody says they're suspending the campaign, they're out.
- 35:26Speaker 1: I don't know if anybody ever suspended a campaign and
- 35:28Speaker 1: came back. So he's gone. Democrats have to find a replacement.
- 35:32Speaker 13: Now.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Platner is giving them a very hard time about this.
- 35:36Speaker 1: He wants to pick his replacement, which of course is idiotic.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Why would you want a Nazi rapist to pick your replacement.
- 35:46Speaker 1: It doesn't make any sense. But that's what he's trying
- 35:49Speaker 1: to do. He's holding up, holding up the Democrats. And
- 35:54Speaker 1: he's got this crazy guy, Morris Katz, who's a crazy
- 36:00Speaker 1: left wing political operative who has flown up to Morris
- 36:06Speaker 1: Katz was the main guy in the Mom Donnie campaign,
- 36:09Speaker 1: left wing kook of a guy, and a socialist, crazy
- 36:15Speaker 1: far left. He's up there trying to help Platner. They
- 36:20Speaker 1: know the campaign is over, they know he's out, but
- 36:23Speaker 1: he's trying to help Platner as they say. He says,
- 36:26Speaker 1: remain relevant and still have big influence in the campaign.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Maybe pick the replacement. It can also mean sometimes you
- 36:37Speaker 1: blackmail the party. Sometimes you get in their way so
- 36:39Speaker 1: that they have to buy you out. In other words,
- 36:42Speaker 1: they have to get you a big job somewhere, or
- 36:45Speaker 1: the leaders of the party, the big Democrats have to
- 36:48Speaker 1: find you a position, something to do. They can't just say,
- 36:52Speaker 1: you know, throw you in the garbage can. They got
- 36:54Speaker 1: to find something for you. But this guy, Morris Katz,
- 36:57Speaker 1: was the main guy in the Mom Donnie campaign. He
- 37:01Speaker 1: was responsible for a lot of that social media which
- 37:03Speaker 1: was brilliant. And he's also a weirdo, a pervert in
- 37:08Speaker 1: real life. He put out a book, This is the
- 37:11Speaker 1: main Mom Donnie guy now helping out Platinir twoenty twenty
- 37:15Speaker 1: put out a book for young kids, for boys, you know,
- 37:19Speaker 1: ten year old boys. It was called Everything you Always
- 37:22Speaker 1: Wanted about Puberty and shouldn't be Googling for boys ten
- 37:27Speaker 1: to twelve. It was one hundred and twelve pages, but
- 37:31Speaker 1: just a perverted, weird book. He wanted to put a
- 37:35Speaker 1: picture of his penis in the book. Publisher objected and
- 37:40Speaker 1: just wouldn't do it. But this book features chapters like
- 37:43Speaker 1: Your New Penis, The Magic of Masturbation. Could you imagine
- 37:49Speaker 1: writing this for ten to twelve year old boys? Can
- 37:51Speaker 1: you imagine a parent letting a kid read this? Of
- 37:53Speaker 1: course in crazy democratic world, who knows, But that's the
- 37:57Speaker 1: type of guy. This is just a total, absolute weirdo.
- 38:01Speaker 1: So he's up there doing something with Platner. Now everybody
- 38:06Speaker 1: is coming out against Platner, telling him he's got to
- 38:09Speaker 1: get out. It was absolutely, amazingly ridiculous predicament. Democrats got
- 38:14Speaker 1: themselves into. They thought they should get a working man,
- 38:19Speaker 1: a real American workingman. Early that was a big part
- 38:22Speaker 1: of the Democratic base, the blue collar workers, the factory workers,
- 38:26Speaker 1: the working men and women. But Trump stole them all away.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Now they're all Republicans, they all vote Republicans. So they
- 38:34Speaker 1: thought this would help get them back. We'll get a
- 38:35Speaker 1: real working man.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Now.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Unfortunately, Platner has never been a working man. He was
- 38:39Speaker 1: a spoiled prep school kid, claimed he was some sort
- 38:43Speaker 1: of oyster fisherman, although he never was. The only time
- 38:46Speaker 1: he ever fished any oysters out was for his mother's restaurant.
- 38:50Speaker 1: He's not a working man. This is what happens when
- 38:53Speaker 1: Democrats try to do something that's republican ish. They always
- 38:57Speaker 1: look silly. They get like this fake, ridicul this working
- 39:00Speaker 1: man who when people see him, they don't look at him, saying, oh,
- 39:03Speaker 1: he looks like a workingman. He looks like that crazy
- 39:05Speaker 1: killer in Cape Fear. He looks like an absolute, raging
- 39:09Speaker 1: psycho with a big Nazi tattoo right on his chest.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Now women saying that he raped them. Now, these are
- 39:16Speaker 1: the same Democrats they spent all these years calling Trump
- 39:19Speaker 1: a rapist. Trump is a Nazi, Trump is a rapist.
- 39:22Speaker 1: They just nominated a Nazi rapist, the guy who's raping
- 39:24Speaker 1: with a Nazi tattoo on him. It's insane. By the way,
- 39:28Speaker 1: he can't call Trump a rapist. George Stefannoppos did that
- 39:32Speaker 1: on the air and it cost ABC sixteen million to
- 39:35Speaker 1: settle that lawsuit. So the problem is you got these
- 39:39Speaker 1: communists running now, actual communists. So Trump is going to
- 39:44Speaker 1: have to be This will be the issue of the
- 39:46Speaker 1: midterm elections. Every thought affordability. It'll hurt the Republican's affordability
- 39:53Speaker 1: with the issue. Now the issue is going to be
- 39:55Speaker 1: you want communists or you don't want communists. It's fighting communism.
- 39:59Speaker 1: We're all going to become McCarthy. You used to have
- 40:02Speaker 1: to go to Vietnam to fight communism. Now you've got
- 40:04Speaker 1: to do it right here in this country.
- 40:07Speaker 8: Now.
- 40:07Speaker 1: The thing with Joe McCarthy, he was trying to hunt down,
- 40:10Speaker 1: trying to identify communists in the government. Well, now they
- 40:15Speaker 1: campaign is communists. It's the campaign slogan. You know, remember McCarthy.
- 40:19Speaker 1: They'd get people that standing up. Are you now ever
- 40:22Speaker 1: been a communist?
- 40:23Speaker 8: No?
- 40:23Speaker 1: No, no, Now they tell you they're a communists. It's
- 40:27Speaker 1: crazy how this has all changed. So that'll be the
- 40:29Speaker 1: midterm election. It's suicidal for Democrats to be a communist. Now. Plattner,
- 40:37Speaker 1: who looks like a psycho, now he looks like the
- 40:39Speaker 1: guy in Cape Fear. If you're going to remake Cape Fear,
- 40:41Speaker 1: you'd get Graham Platner, and he talks like it. We'll
- 40:45Speaker 1: listen to him.
- 40:45Speaker 14: I know that some will think it's an admission of guilt,
- 40:47Speaker 14: and it most certainly is not. We're not doing it
- 40:50Speaker 14: because of the allegations. We're doing it because of the
- 40:52Speaker 14: structures that are being taken away from us by those
- 40:55Speaker 14: in power.
- 40:55Speaker 1: What the hell is he talking about? Well, obviously the
- 40:57Speaker 1: allegation came. You dropped out. Obviously, that's what it is.
- 41:00Speaker 14: We live in a political system that is not built
- 41:03Speaker 14: for normal people. It is a system that is built
- 41:07Speaker 14: structurally to make sure that movements like ours cannot flourish,
- 41:14Speaker 14: that if they begin to succeed, they can be crushed.
- 41:18Speaker 14: We live in a political system that is not built
- 41:21Speaker 14: for normal people.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Imagine the psychoapist Nazi is telling you you're not normal.
- 41:26Speaker 1: He's the normal one. You're the one that's crazy. His movement?
- 41:30Speaker 1: What was the movement? Everybody get Nazi tattoos? What was
- 41:34Speaker 1: the movement?
- 41:34Speaker 14: I learned about this through press inquiries with no time
- 41:42Speaker 14: to truly respond, no time for investigations, before a corporate
- 41:48Speaker 14: media system and the political establishment got to act as judge,
- 41:55Speaker 14: jury and executioner.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Hell is he talking about? He learned about it through
- 42:02Speaker 1: media stories, no time to investigate. You were there? What
- 42:08Speaker 1: do you need to investigate? She says, she was raped
- 42:10Speaker 1: by you in a hotel room. You were there. You
- 42:15Speaker 1: were there, you know what happened. Uh, well, you need
- 42:19Speaker 1: to investigate this further. You were there. Of course, she says,
- 42:23Speaker 1: he was drunk out of his mind, so maybe he
- 42:24Speaker 1: doesn't remember it, but there were only two people in
- 42:27Speaker 1: the room. If you want to investigate, what could you
- 42:29Speaker 1: do if you don't remember? You got to ask her
- 42:32Speaker 1: and she's already said, what you think learned about it
- 42:35Speaker 1: through media? You were there, You already knew about it.
- 42:38Speaker 14: So accusations are supposed to be the beginning of things,
- 42:42Speaker 14: not the end.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, listen, if somebody came forward and said, Mitch
- 42:48Speaker 1: McConnell written, who'd believe it? But this psycho killer cape
- 42:52Speaker 1: fear looking guy, I'd believe it.
- 42:54Speaker 14: It has placed an immense amount of weight.
- 42:58Speaker 15: On me.
- 43:00Speaker 1: I think about what needs to happen now. A voice,
- 43:06Speaker 1: the way he talks. You know, if you got a
- 43:07Speaker 1: phone call from oh, doesn't think you have a a
- 43:13Speaker 1: rex human kind of sound? This is rex human. I
- 43:15Speaker 1: never heard him talk, but you would think he sounds
- 43:17Speaker 1: like this.
- 43:18Speaker 14: I just want you to think about, like what you
- 43:20Speaker 14: would do as a regular person in a position where
- 43:26Speaker 14: a much larger world, large forces were working against you personally,
- 43:35Speaker 14: to accuse you of the worst thing that a person
- 43:39Speaker 14: could do, and it was not remotely true.
- 43:45Speaker 1: All right, So he looks like a psychomedia and he
- 43:47Speaker 1: talks who the hell picked this guy? What you Democrats?
- 43:52Speaker 1: What the hell were you thinking? It's absolutely ridiculous. We
- 43:55Speaker 1: believe that for the movement to continue, it can't be made.
- 44:07Speaker 1: And for that reason, he's getting emotional. We are suspending
- 44:16Speaker 1: campaign operations. Good, thank god, go away? And what movement
- 44:21Speaker 1: is this? That the Nazi movement? I mean the big
- 44:23Speaker 1: tattoo on your chest. I would assume that's the symbol
- 44:26Speaker 1: of the movement. But we live in a political system
- 44:29Speaker 1: that is not built. No, you heard that? All right? No,
- 44:32Speaker 1: heres another one.
- 44:33Speaker 14: We are going to lose our ability to fundraise, we
- 44:37Speaker 14: are going to lose or ability to access voter data.
- 44:41Speaker 1: We are going to lose enough of this guy anyway,
- 44:45Speaker 1: just a sick, weirdo Nazi rapist. This is who the
- 44:49Speaker 1: Democrats came up with. And what was this all about?
- 44:51Speaker 1: To stop Susan Collins? You know, I don't know why
- 44:54Speaker 1: they got so crazy. Susan Collins is not a big
- 44:56Speaker 1: Trump supporter. She's not a Maga's not a she's not
- 45:01Speaker 1: a Trump person at all. She opposes Trump most of
- 45:03Speaker 1: the time. It's pretty moderate, middle of the road kind
- 45:07Speaker 1: of senator. She'll win, she'll win reelection certainly. Now, I
- 45:11Speaker 1: don't care who the Democrats stick in. All that people
- 45:14Speaker 1: are going to remember is they tried to put this
- 45:15Speaker 1: psycho killer in there, this rapist with the Nazi tattoo
- 45:19Speaker 1: all over them. So it's not going to work. You know,
- 45:24Speaker 1: if you go back six months or earlier this year
- 45:26Speaker 1: or last year, you saw Schumer and Hakeem Jeffreys yelling
- 45:29Speaker 1: and screaming about mega extremists, mega extremist. They're the ones
- 45:34Speaker 1: now that are the worst extremists. You could be a socialist,
- 45:38Speaker 1: a communist, you could have a Nazi tattoo right on you.
- 45:43Speaker 1: I mean, it's crazy. You know, one thing about this
- 45:45Speaker 1: socialism anytime, you know, we've we've had socialism thousands of
- 45:50Speaker 1: times all over the world. Anytime socialism springs up, it's
- 45:54Speaker 1: always always got anti Semitism in ituse of course, you
- 45:58Speaker 1: see it this time with this unbelievele horrifying anti semitism.
- 46:02Speaker 1: But every time socialism brings anti Semitism with it. It
- 46:07Speaker 1: happened with the Nazis and you got to remember with
- 46:10Speaker 1: this anti semitism, maybe you're not Jewish and it doesn't
- 46:14Speaker 1: affect you the same, but you got to remember with
- 46:18Speaker 1: these socialists, the anti Semitism is only phase one, and
- 46:23Speaker 1: then it's anti Catholic, and then it's anti Christians. It
- 46:27Speaker 1: always works that way. The anti Semitism is always just
- 46:31Speaker 1: round one. Hey you got FIFA. I can't follow this.
- 46:37Speaker 1: I just can't watch it. I don't know what it is.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Can't follow soccer. I like baseball. I like football after
- 46:44Speaker 1: the Knicks and now I like basketball. But to watch
- 46:48Speaker 1: guys play soccer, it's ridiculous. They like play it in
- 46:51Speaker 1: their little shorts with the knee socks. It looks ridiculous.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Nobody ever scores. You gotta wait forever to get you know,
- 46:57Speaker 1: scores one to nothings. I like that basketball, ninety eight
- 47:00Speaker 1: to ninety six. This is like one to nothing. I
- 47:03Speaker 1: don't know who the hell these teams are. It's Uruguay
- 47:06Speaker 1: versus Paraguay, Finland versus Norway. Who the hell am I
- 47:10Speaker 1: supposed to root for? And it's all over a week
- 47:13Speaker 1: from Sunday, right, that's the finals. Final game is a
- 47:17Speaker 1: week from Sunday. Thank god, pack up, get the hell
- 47:22Speaker 1: out of America, go home. Too many tourists all over
- 47:26Speaker 1: the place, and right now it's something I don't know.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Every day it's something else. That's a quarter final. No,
- 47:33Speaker 1: it's not final, playoff, quarter something going on. It is
- 47:36Speaker 1: an annoying sport. Every time they tried in America did nothing.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Remember years ago, what was the New Jersey team was
- 47:43Speaker 1: at the Cosmos? Remember that? Years ago they thought soccer
- 47:46Speaker 1: would take off. It didn't. Remember Pele was the greatest
- 47:50Speaker 1: soccer player. Wooh, They thought that would make it take off.
- 47:52Speaker 1: It didn't. Never took off. Why is it taking off
- 47:55Speaker 1: now because the country is flooded with people from other
- 47:58Speaker 1: countries who grew up on soccer, so they're all watching it.
- 48:01Speaker 1: They are filling up bars and restaurants and watching soccer
- 48:06Speaker 1: like crazy. Binge watching is dying. Can you figure out
- 48:11Speaker 1: why binge watching? You know that was the beauty of
- 48:14Speaker 1: Netflix and streaming and you could watch the whole season,
- 48:19Speaker 1: or somebody tell you about a show like you never
- 48:21Speaker 1: saw a Yellowstone, Well you go start watching Yellowstone. Look
- 48:24Speaker 1: at that. Here's eighty five episodes you can binge watch.
- 48:28Speaker 1: But streaming companies reporting that binge watching is slowing down dramatically. Yeah,
- 48:36Speaker 1: binge watching is down about thirty to seventy percent, depending
- 48:39Speaker 1: on the streaming services. Some of these companies, their internal data,
- 48:45Speaker 1: their studies. They think it has a lot to do
- 48:48Speaker 1: with TikTok and all sorts of stuff like that, because
- 48:53Speaker 1: TikTok has trained people to have shorter attention spans and
- 48:58Speaker 1: YouTube is getting more popular. I basically only watch YouTube.
- 49:01Speaker 1: You can watch anything in the world on YouTube. Anything,
- 49:05Speaker 1: any show that was ever on television from nineteen forty
- 49:09Speaker 1: eight to now, it's all on YouTube. You can watch anything.
- 49:12Speaker 1: So people of the streaming companies, I'll starting to realize
- 49:17Speaker 1: it's not a good idea to do the whole season
- 49:20Speaker 1: and drop a whole season at once, because people will
- 49:22Speaker 1: just binge watch it. Remember the show Billions, they always
- 49:26Speaker 1: insisted they will not drop a whole season. They'll only
- 49:30Speaker 1: release it once a week, one episode a week. It
- 49:33Speaker 1: creates an anticipation and a momentum, and they were right.
- 49:37Speaker 1: They were the first to really stick to that. And
- 49:40Speaker 1: now apparently the streaming companies are doing that more and
- 49:44Speaker 1: more and more. No more one season at a time,
- 49:48Speaker 1: watch it as a weekly show. They'll drop an episode
- 49:50Speaker 1: a week binge watching? Has people just got worn out
- 49:53Speaker 1: on it? Hey, well take some calls. Next eight hundred
- 49:56Speaker 1: three two one zero seven ten is the number eight
- 50:00Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven to ten. Get his
- 50:05Speaker 1: in access to Mark by setting a pre set in
- 50:08Speaker 1: the iHeartRadio app for his live show.
- 50:10Speaker 2: And his podcast. Now back to the Mark Simone Show
- 50:14Speaker 2: on WR.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Bob and
- 50:20Speaker 1: San Diego. Bob, how you doing?
- 50:23Speaker 8: Hey, Mark?
- 50:23Speaker 13: How are you?
- 50:25Speaker 8: I'm a longtime listener. I go back to the days
- 50:28Speaker 8: when you used to do the Simon.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Phone well, and looks we're still doing it. Look at this.
- 50:34Speaker 8: You still are. One of your greatest bits I still
- 50:36Speaker 8: laugh about it was you ask somebody at what they
- 50:38Speaker 8: thought about euthanasia and their answer to you was, there's
- 50:43Speaker 8: many of them and they're very politically motivated.
- 50:46Speaker 1: That's right. We used to do this man on the
- 50:47Speaker 1: Street where we'd ask people questions like how do you
- 50:49Speaker 1: feel about euthanasia? And the guy would say, I think
- 50:52Speaker 1: they should stay over there and not come here.
- 50:53Speaker 8: And it was a great bit. And I'm friends with
- 50:57Speaker 8: Jay Diamond, I know Rich from the Beach made a comment.
- 51:01Speaker 1: With Jay Diamond was on the radio for years. What
- 51:04Speaker 1: is Ja Diamond doing now?
- 51:06Speaker 8: I don't know what he does now, but your friends
- 51:08Speaker 8: with him, well, he doesn't do He really doesn't do anything.
- 51:13Speaker 8: He Uh he's the kind of guy stays up late
- 51:15Speaker 8: at night. I live in California, as you know, it's
- 51:21Speaker 8: the truth. But uh, you know at three in the morning.
- 51:24Speaker 8: He'll call me in our time at midnight, which is
- 51:27Speaker 8: still too late for me. So we never seem to
- 51:29Speaker 8: get it together to talk, but we text a lot.
- 51:31Speaker 1: All right. Well that's uh, I'm glad. I'm glad he's
- 51:34Speaker 1: doing all right. Thanks.
- 51:36Speaker 8: I met him. Uh, I met him in the street
- 51:39Speaker 8: in our Chinese restaurant one day.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Well, this is one exciting story.
- 51:44Speaker 8: Well, I recognized this voice. I heard a guy arguing
- 51:46Speaker 8: with a waiter saying, what's this? What's this on my bill?
- 51:50Speaker 8: And a waiter said that's tax And he said, uh,
- 51:53Speaker 8: I didn't eat any tax. I don't remember eating anything.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Recognized Henny Young win joke. Any young would always get
- 51:59Speaker 1: the bill looking I know a tax Oh wow.
- 52:02Speaker 8: Yeah. So I said, is your name Jay? And he said, yeah,
- 52:05Speaker 8: who are you? And I said, I was just listening
- 52:07Speaker 8: to you on the radio you used to be on
- 52:09Speaker 8: w ev D.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Let me just say something to you. If you're ever
- 52:13Speaker 1: playing Carnegie Hall or somewhere. Don't close with this story.
- 52:18Speaker 1: I need at But anyway, thanks for calling. Good hearing
- 52:21Speaker 1: from you. To take care. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 52:24Speaker 1: how you doing, Good morning, Mark, that's Mike.
- 52:29Speaker 16: I just wanted to thank you for two things you
- 52:31Speaker 16: just said. One is that we're music to my ears
- 52:34Speaker 16: by the way. One was that the soccer is going
- 52:36Speaker 16: to be over a week from Sunday. I can't wait.
- 52:39Speaker 16: And the other was that you succinctly called these guys communists. Yeah,
- 52:44Speaker 16: I already hear the usual pundits and experts on the
- 52:48Speaker 16: conservative Republican side something all over the place. Well, they're
- 52:51Speaker 16: not really communists.
- 52:52Speaker 8: It's socialism.
- 52:53Speaker 1: But it's like, God, are clear socialism communists. It's exactly
- 52:57Speaker 1: the same thing. The only difference is, of course, is
- 53:00Speaker 1: usually voted in. Communists usually take it by revolution. But
- 53:05Speaker 1: so you hey, yes, yeah, I are in Florida. Then
- 53:08Speaker 1: they're making as much fuss about soccer down there in Florida.
- 53:12Speaker 6: Uh.
- 53:12Speaker 16: This place I go to every day for lunch and
- 53:14Speaker 16: it's their promo that when they this promotion where it's
- 53:17Speaker 16: soccer and the games are usually there's just the TVs
- 53:21Speaker 16: are on and his music playing the games. The music
- 53:24Speaker 16: goes off that the volume, the audio comes on for
- 53:26Speaker 16: the games. These four people who can't speak English on
- 53:29Speaker 16: the panel explaining what soccer is, and then groups of
- 53:33Speaker 16: people come into the place, go crazy for ninety minutes
- 53:36Speaker 16: and then leave without paying sometimes and without so Unfortunately
- 53:40Speaker 16: the place I go to, it's very it's concentrated on
- 53:44Speaker 16: this idiotic game.
- 53:46Speaker 1: All right, So we got a week from Sunday, soccer
- 53:48Speaker 1: will be over. We'll be done with it. Mike, great call,
- 53:51Speaker 1: Thanks for colling. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 53:54Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 53:55Speaker 13: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Mara. Mark. You're a spot
- 53:58Speaker 13: on when you talk about these commercial building conversions to
- 54:03Speaker 13: residential buildings. I know because I've converted commercial real estate
- 54:10Speaker 13: into residential real estate. And the big problem, as you
- 54:13Speaker 13: pointed out, is running the waist line. Because, as you
- 54:18Speaker 13: pointed out and your an iHeart, you have one bedroom
- 54:21Speaker 13: down the floor, you have one waist line going up,
- 54:24Speaker 13: one waist line going down. You have to have wasst
- 54:29Speaker 13: lines for the kitchen for the bedroom and they have
- 54:32Speaker 13: to crisscross all over the place throughout the building. Then
- 54:36Speaker 13: in the cellar you're gonna probably have to change the
- 54:39Speaker 13: main waste lines that come out of the building, then
- 54:42Speaker 13: the ones that go underneath the sidewalk into the city street,
- 54:46Speaker 13: because they have an estimated volume per hour that they
- 54:50Speaker 13: could handle. That's why, for example, when it rains really heavy,
- 54:54Speaker 13: which I hope it doesn't do today in the residential
- 54:57Speaker 13: neighborhoods of New York City, after one and a half
- 55:00Speaker 13: finches an hour, it starts to back up, and then
- 55:02Speaker 13: you start to have all these problems now. And in
- 55:05Speaker 13: these residents, these big office buildings that they convert, those
- 55:11Speaker 13: waistlines have double the size that let's say you have
- 55:14Speaker 13: in a brownstone or in a small, small tenement house.
- 55:19Speaker 13: And my attitude is, unless I see it going up,
- 55:23Speaker 13: I want nothing to.
- 55:24Speaker 12: Do with it.
- 55:25Speaker 13: And just for the record, Steve Closo, talk about Manhattan
- 55:30Speaker 13: real estate. Don't talk about Brooklyn real estate because you're
- 55:34Speaker 13: out of your league.
- 55:34Speaker 1: Pal, Although those going up the real estate comms.
- 55:39Speaker 13: Yeah, but for for Manhattan and for a certain area
- 55:43Speaker 13: for most of what he says, Mark doesn't even fly
- 55:46Speaker 13: over here.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Don't worry he's fact.
- 55:49Speaker 13: No, he hasn't because all of the dirt avenue apartments
- 55:53Speaker 13: that's built on, all toxic soil over there, that's all
- 55:56Speaker 13: a condemned site.
- 55:58Speaker 1: We got to go for the news, but call. Thanks
- 56:00Speaker 1: for calling. When we come back. The Great Jimmy Fayla,
- 56:04Speaker 1: very funny, great comedian and talk show host. He'll be
- 56:06Speaker 1: with us next on seven to ten WR.
- 56:10Speaker 2: Mark themone on seven tenor.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Hey, Jimmy Fayla, the great comedian, the great talk show host.
- 56:19Speaker 1: He's on every night now on WR nine to midnight.
- 56:22Speaker 1: People love this show. I hope you're listening good. If
- 56:24Speaker 1: you haven't listened, listened tonight any weeknight, nine to midnight.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Then on Saturday night it does the best late night
- 56:30Speaker 1: show in television Saturday nights at ten Fox News Channel.
- 56:34Speaker 1: It's got the single finest monologue anywhere in television today.
- 56:39Speaker 1: President Trump's a big fan of the show. Jimmy Fayla,
- 56:41Speaker 1: how you doing yo.
- 56:44Speaker 6: I'm doing good.
- 56:45Speaker 2: Other than the fact that mom Donnie just erased little Italy.
- 56:48Speaker 8: Did you see that map?
- 56:49Speaker 4: Oh?
- 56:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I forgot about that. Yeah. They put out a
- 56:51Speaker 1: map of all the ethnic neighborhoods. But somehow there's no
- 56:54Speaker 1: Little Italy, no.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Little Italy, there's no Irish enclave, there's no Jewish unplanned.
- 57:00Speaker 2: Mom Donnie is turning New York into the Big Allah,
- 57:03Speaker 2: Like come on, man, come on, come on here.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Uh well, I mean if you think of ethnic neighborhoods,
- 57:11Speaker 1: that is probably the single most famous, best known ethnic
- 57:14Speaker 1: neighborhood in New York, isn't it.
- 57:17Speaker 6: There's nothing close.
- 57:18Speaker 2: I mean Little Italy was the first little Like this
- 57:21Speaker 2: is like if you were rap got rid of Little Wayne. Okay,
- 57:24Speaker 2: Little Wayne was the first guy.
- 57:26Speaker 15: Okay, they got rid.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Of Little they got rid Little Italy. And again, it
- 57:31Speaker 2: definitely sounds like some form of adversity. And that's what
- 57:34Speaker 2: I think is bothering a lot of people because you know,
- 57:37Speaker 2: Mom Donnie represents the anti Columbus wing and all of
- 57:40Speaker 2: that garbage. So I'm a little worked up over here
- 57:43Speaker 2: because you know, I have a lot of Battalian relatives
- 57:45Speaker 2: that are listening to the show right now, assuming there's
- 57:47Speaker 2: not a horse race to fix, and I'm not going
- 57:50Speaker 2: to be smirch their honor, you understand, h.
- 57:55Speaker 1: You mustill spend a lot of time in Little Italy
- 57:56Speaker 1: as a food at the pizza.
- 57:58Speaker 2: Everything you've you've seen me, I look like I get
- 58:01Speaker 2: paid in Canoli's.
- 58:02Speaker 6: Of course, I've spent time in Little.
- 58:03Speaker 15: Italy, and you know, I uh, you know, it's funny
- 58:07Speaker 15: like when you start.
- 58:08Speaker 2: Out as a comic in New York, like Little Italy
- 58:11Speaker 2: is actually where you spend a lot of late night
- 58:12Speaker 2: time because there's a lot of restaurants that are open
- 58:14Speaker 2: late night. So you do your sets, you bomb for
- 58:17Speaker 2: a couple of tourists, and you go eat seven plates
- 58:19Speaker 2: of pasta and tell yourself it's gonna be okay.
- 58:22Speaker 6: And you know that that mattered to me.
- 58:25Speaker 15: So when I saw those masks, like, I don't.
- 58:26Speaker 6: Really get caught up in a lot of culture war garbage.
- 58:29Speaker 2: I'm still trying to get my money back from the
- 58:31Speaker 2: Grand Platinir campaign.
- 58:33Speaker 6: You know, I'm I'm kidding that dirt bag.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Hey, after calling Trump a Nazi, after calling Trump a rapist,
- 58:41Speaker 1: how the hell did they end up nominating this guy?
- 58:43Speaker 1: What were they thinking?
- 58:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so funny because they got to this point
- 58:49Speaker 2: where politics have become so emotional for the Democratic Party
- 58:53Speaker 2: that they're not listening to themselves, meaning they they to
- 58:57Speaker 2: the rest of us. Obviously, we had the same reaction, like,
- 59:00Speaker 2: you can't nominate a guy with a Nazi tattoo. They
- 59:02Speaker 2: were yelling that Pete Hegsath had a Nazi tattoo for
- 59:04Speaker 2: ten years and he didn't have one.
- 59:06Speaker 6: Okay.
- 59:07Speaker 2: The cross on Pete hegg Sath's chest is in the
- 59:10Speaker 2: Church of England at the altar, which is you know,
- 59:14Speaker 2: hardly Hitler territory. Okay, Graham Flattner, full Nazi Okay. Obviously,
- 59:19Speaker 2: every allegation under the.
- 59:21Speaker 6: Sun, and uh listen.
- 59:23Speaker 2: The fact that they thought they would get away with
- 59:25Speaker 2: like this level of double standard is not shocking to me.
- 59:30Speaker 2: But I love watching them now try to, you know,
- 59:32Speaker 2: do the gymnastics routine and act like this was never
- 59:35Speaker 2: a thing and we knew he was a flawed counted.
- 59:38Speaker 2: You know, Elizabeth Warren's trying to claim that she had reservations.
- 59:41Speaker 6: You know, Oh good, gosh, I got it. I'm gonna
- 59:46Speaker 6: keep up with the group.
- 59:49Speaker 1: The fact that he looked like the crazy killer in
- 59:51Speaker 1: Cape Fear, well, why didn't that bother him?
- 59:57Speaker 8: It's so funny because I always I that that what
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: is the greatest.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Analysis of him I've ever heard, because I just keep
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: looking at him and he just looks.
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: Like an out of work walrus.
- 1:00:07Speaker 15: With the mustache and the selling oysters.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: To his mom, and everything about him was fake.
- 1:00:14Speaker 15: And the point I'm trying to make everybody listening to
- 1:00:17Speaker 15: us right now is the Republican Party is.
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: Doing a lot of things that drive me crazy.
- 1:00:22Speaker 15: Like I believe we should be passing a voter ID law,
- 1:00:24Speaker 15: and I don't.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Think it's acceptable that John Thune's like, we don't have
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: the votes.
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: There's nothing we can do. Yeah, there is something you
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: could do.
- 1:00:32Speaker 15: Get off your ass and go get the votes. That's
- 1:00:33Speaker 15: what politicians traditionally did. If you don't have it, you
- 1:00:36Speaker 15: go get it, you make a deal.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: So believe me, I can criticize Republican Party all day,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: but the Republican Party is not making up people and
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: nominating them for office. I meaning Graham Platner was an
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: out of work loser, and in August of last year,
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: a couple of consultants decided to call him an oyster farmer.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: They launched a campaign. The campaign was launched before the
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: oyster farming business was and he didn't have a cut
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: beyond his mother because that's who gave him the startup money.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Like they created a fake guy. And then they said, oh,
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: but this fake guy with the Nazi tattoo, the sexual
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: assault allegations, the dating profile on the child better rapp,
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: who likes to shake hands with the governor in the
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: men's room.
- 1:01:15Speaker 15: He openly said it. This guy relates to the working class,
- 1:01:20Speaker 15: and I just keep saying, what jobs have they worked?
- 1:01:23Speaker 8: That?
- 1:01:24Speaker 15: That guy is the relatable guy at the company Christmas party.
- 1:01:27Speaker 15: Now you gotta get down here.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: The Nazi tattoo guy who just got written up in
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: the New.
- 1:01:30Speaker 15: York Times for harassing women. Now it's a big hit.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: They love him.
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: It's crazy, man.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Yeah, how you said? You know, same thing with mom Donnie,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: who's never had a job in his life. Can you
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: mention you go to the interview, I see your resume
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: is blank. How did he come to the mayor of
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: New York with never having a job, never worked?
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: Yep, Because this is what's happening in the Democratic Party.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: The donors are choosing the candidates, and the blanker the slate,
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: the better. Like in theory, Mom Donnie was a TikTok rapper.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: He was wrapping on TikTok. But he has that multi
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: ethnic appeal they're going for, which is all class warfare,
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: back to the little Italy thing, and it's all divisive garbage.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: But essentially, the people who want socialist policies advanced are
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: out there, you know, pretty much just curating what they
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: think the perfect representative to sell the messages, and then
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: they attach a.
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: Story to him. This guy's up fighting for the working man.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: I mean, Graham Platner, I mean, come on, Graham Plattin,
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: like if you wanted a review of something on Netflix.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Graham Plattner looks like the kind of guy that's been
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: home watching all of it. You know, Mom, Donnie's a
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: dirt pick, okay. But these people that are donating are
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: choosing the candidates. That's why, even after Plattner dropped out,
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: they had two hundred and fifteen thousand people voting that
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: main primary. They said, six hundred people are going to
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: choose the six hundred.
- 1:02:50Speaker 15: Donors are going to get together in a back room
- 1:02:53Speaker 15: and pick his successor, just the.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Way they did that to Biden. Do you remember Biden
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: dropped out. Obama tweeted, we look forward to a riggor primary.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Five minutes later, the White House tweeted Kama of the goal,
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: and we're like, wait, what's amazing how that works?
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Hey, I just I am so sick of this FIFA.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I don't care if I never see another soccer game.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Is that just me? Or does anybody else feel that way?
- 1:03:15Speaker 8: No? I am.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: I'm one hundred percent so relieved that we can quit
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: pretending to care about soccer.
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: Okay, I did it.
- 1:03:23Speaker 15: I have a lot of civic pride.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: I love the country I was watching, But nothing happens. Man,
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: every soccer game, if you just listen to the crowd,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: forget the game. Every soccer game is like, oh oh oh,
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: it reminds me of my first few times making love
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: to a woman.
- 1:03:40Speaker 15: Mark, Oh so close.
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: Oh you just missed a cowboy. Oh that's soccer to me.
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: I just I don't listen to the game.
- 1:03:49Speaker 15: I listened to the crowd, and the crowd just it
- 1:03:51Speaker 15: doesn't sound like they're having fun.
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: Man, they don't.
- 1:03:55Speaker 8: Uh.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Hey, Jimmy fail. What the fourth of July weekend? America
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: two fifty? How did you spend it? It must have
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: been a tough weekend for you.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: Oh I was America point two fifty.
- 1:04:05Speaker 15: You know, I had some TV, some backyard barbecue.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: And on Long Island.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: We weren't on our show was not on the air
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: because the Fourth of July fireworks and the big Trump
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: speech editor in our time slot. So they when something
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: serious is happening in the news, they want me as
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: far away from the TV as possible, you know, because
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: I'm like a cable news rodeo clown. I'm making balloon animals,
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: telling dirty jokes on Saturday night. Today's one of the
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: days I do adulting. I fill in for Gutfeld on
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: The Five today.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Oh good.
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: So yeah, if you turn on the TV this week.
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: Next week you'll see me on the five.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: I look like I'm six foot eight because I'm sitting
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: in Greg's booster seed, but you know, gives me a
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: little extra height on the air.
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: But I'm not complaining. I need all the help I
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: can get.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: It's great. He does such a great show Saturday nights
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: ten o'clock Fox News Channel and people come be in
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: the audience. It's free when you tape. You tape it
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Friday evening. How do they get the tickets?
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: Yeah, this Friday.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: If you wanted to come by Fox across America dot com,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: free tickets, hang out in the studio audience. You'll meet
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: all the Fox people. The Fox Foxes. It's a good
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: fun hang and you know we usually go out of
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: a drink after. I mean, you're really involved. It's like
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: you're with the band. If you come to one of
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: these tapings, you're very much with the band. It's a
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: great experience. And the one thing I will tell you
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: about the Fox people is they they hang out like.
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: They're friendly. You know, they'll take pictures, they're nice, they're
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: happy to see you.
- 1:05:30Speaker 15: Like if you went to a CNN event or an
- 1:05:32Speaker 15: MSNBC event, they'd be like, what do you want?
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: Why are you here. They don't talk to each other,
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: let alone you.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: You know, like you think about Fox, we all do
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: each other shows. You can turn on TV at eight
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: in the morning on Fox and Friends, you'll see a
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: primetime host on the couch. Okay, they don't do that.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: You're not gonna turn on MSNBC and see Rachel.
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: Maddow on Morning Shoe.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: You know, two angry lesbians is enough of that show.
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: They don't need a third one.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: That's a very good point. I was a Fox yesterday. Hey,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: we hung out yesterday. Everybody hangs out there. It's fun there.
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: We all hang out. We were in the lobby yesterday,
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: just hanging out.
- 1:06:05Speaker 15: Okay, if I had a deck of cards, the security
- 1:06:07Speaker 15: might have played with us.
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: So it's a good vibe.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: So if anybody wants to comment foxacross America dot com.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: If you want to get a date or you want
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: to bring somebody, it's very impressive taking the Fox News
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: to the studio and meet a lot of celebrity. But
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: don't tell them it was free.
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: Act like you, act like you're paid for it.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: So you go to Fox across America dot com and
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: get the tickets free tickets there and tonight and every
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: weeknight listen to them nine to midnight, on seven to
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: ten w R. Who who do you got to tonight?
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Ooh tonight, I'm told we're getting a Byron Donald sighting
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: going to be the next governor of Florida.
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: So that's little b.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: D action and a couple of comedians that I'm chumming
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: with that I'm using on the show this weekend. Arenberg
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: is going to be on, johenerall Colwell is going to
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: be on, So it'll be fun. But you know the
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: whole point of my show is to listen for three
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: hours and go to bed thinking you Twoe could host
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: a radio show.
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: No, you're gonna I delist. It's very empowering.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: It's not just interesting stuff, but you will laugh, you
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: will have a great time. It's perfect to listen to
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: nine to midnight every weeknight right here on w o
