- 0:00Speaker 1: This is seven r boy, the Mark Simoon Show starts. Now. Hey,
- 0:09Speaker 1: it's another beautiful, hot, sunny day. Enjoy it because then
- 0:12Speaker 1: it's gonna get cloudy. It's going to rain for the
- 0:14Speaker 1: whole You know, this is not the first time. Every
- 0:16Speaker 1: Memorial Day weekend last few years. Weather's been bad, rainy
- 0:20Speaker 1: Memorial Day weekends for many years now. But it's gonna
- 0:24Speaker 1: be a beautiful, hot day to day. So we got
- 0:26Speaker 1: a lot to get to. Huge, huge victory last night
- 0:30Speaker 1: for President Trump, thirty seven to nothing. We'll get to that.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Let's give you the latest on Iran. We'll get to
- 0:37Speaker 1: the Colbert funeral which is taking place this week for
- 0:40Speaker 1: his show, The Colbert Show Funeral. We'll get to Hey,
- 0:43Speaker 1: you see those hearings yesterday. These Democrats, they are good
- 0:46Speaker 1: at those hearings. Boy, they just beat up and slap
- 0:49Speaker 1: around every win. And we'll get to that. Hey, Barney Frank,
- 0:52Speaker 1: just we just got the news. Barney Frank has died.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Eighty six years old. Been very ill for a long time,
- 0:58Speaker 1: was in hospice for last few months. Barney Frank eighty
- 1:01Speaker 1: six years old. He was quite the angry, yelling and
- 1:06Speaker 1: screaming far left liberal for his time. If you brought
- 1:10Speaker 1: him back today, he'd looked like a moderate compared to
- 1:13Speaker 1: these Democrats. But we'll let's take a look at him
- 1:15Speaker 1: a little later on. So the President had a big, big, big,
- 1:22Speaker 1: big night. A lot of people that he endorsed last night,
- 1:25Speaker 1: surprising ones against incumbents, against big, big incumbents like corn
- 1:31Speaker 1: And this has been going on, Cassidy, Massy corn. And
- 1:34Speaker 1: he went against these big incumbents because many of them,
- 1:37Speaker 1: although Republicans got very anti Trump, they were voting against him,
- 1:42Speaker 1: stabbing in the back on all kinds of things. So
- 1:45Speaker 1: he endorsed the opponent, and in every single case, his
- 1:50Speaker 1: endorsement carried the opponent to a big victory over the incumbent.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Thirty seven victories last night, zero losses for the president.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Now they'll tell you, of course that he had no coattails.
- 2:04Speaker 1: He has endorsement and nothing. They'll tell you this yesterday.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I don't know what.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I didn't get to see too much Morning Joe today,
- 2:09Speaker 1: so I don't know what how they're spinning this. But
- 2:11Speaker 1: it was a big night. A lot of people who
- 2:14Speaker 1: needed to be tossed out got tossed out. Cornyn wasn't
- 2:17Speaker 1: the worst but he needed Cornyn was no help. Massy
- 2:22Speaker 1: was the worst. Massy a horrible, horrible, horrible guy, anti Semitic.
- 2:29Speaker 1: You know, it's one thing to be anti israel I.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Guess you could do that and not be anti Semitic.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But there's a line that Massy not only crossed, he
- 2:38Speaker 1: just leaped right over it. You know, even in his
- 2:41Speaker 1: concession speech, he couldn't help himself. It was one of
- 2:44Speaker 1: the dirtiest, ugliest concession speeches. He said, you know, I
- 2:49Speaker 1: tried to call my opponent, but I couldn't reach They
- 2:51Speaker 1: couldn't locate him in Jerusalem. Just this anti semitism of woman,
- 2:58Speaker 1: you know, really serious anti semitism talk, is you could
- 3:04Speaker 1: be anti Israel, but when you hear the line, you
- 3:07Speaker 1: don't cross. When they start telling you Jews run the bank,
- 3:10Speaker 1: Jews control the world, Jews control the banks, Israel controls that,
- 3:15Speaker 1: Jews control Hollywood. That's real anti semitism, and Massy was
- 3:19Speaker 1: guilty of that, as are many Democrats jellingots screaming the
- 3:22Speaker 1: Israel's controlling the president, the Jews controlled the president. First
- 3:25Speaker 1: of all, Donald Trump is not controllable by anybody. But
- 3:30Speaker 1: that's real anti Semitic talk when you hear that, and
- 3:32Speaker 1: that's the kind of stuff that came out of Massy.
- 3:34Speaker 1: So he needed to go ugly dirty sort of guy Cornin.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Not so bad, he's gone. Now these are big, big incumbents,
- 3:43Speaker 1: Cassidy and the rest, though some people I guess if
- 3:46Speaker 1: you try to spin it, if you're a Democrat, you
- 3:48Speaker 1: could say, well, this could be bad because now the
- 3:51Speaker 1: Republicans go into mid terms with lesser candidates, not the
- 3:54Speaker 1: big incumbents. But but if these big incumbents couldn't win
- 3:58Speaker 1: in their own Republican districts, where are they going to win?
- 4:01Speaker 1: So it's good that they're gone. Big night for the president. Hey,
- 4:05Speaker 1: when it comes to Iran, well he's said this is
- 4:10Speaker 1: the real deal. But he's telling everybody that we're about
- 4:12Speaker 1: to go. But he was asked to hold up. I
- 4:16Speaker 1: had made the decision, so they called up. They had
- 4:19Speaker 1: heard I made the decision.
- 4:20Speaker 3: He said, sir, could you give us a couple of
- 4:22Speaker 3: more days because we think they're being reasonable.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's it, they asked. You might say, who's they?
- 4:32Speaker 1: Who knows they? It's they? Okay, they asked, they called up.
- 4:36Speaker 1: They said, sir, so because of they, we're going to hold.
- 4:41Speaker 1: But it's okay, it's good. Listen. The more restraint the better. Apparently,
- 4:46Speaker 1: when we go back, it's going to be full faradle.
- 4:50Speaker 1: It's going to be vicious. It'll be two to three
- 4:53Speaker 1: weeks of attacks. They've had many, many weeks now to
- 4:57Speaker 1: pick out targets, and nobody is better at this than Israel.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Nobody has better intelligence on the ground than Israel. So
- 5:05Speaker 1: US Israel forces combined unbelievable. It'll be two to three weeks.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Have taken out a lot of stuff. Some of it
- 5:12Speaker 1: will be infrastructure, any infrastructure that could ever be used
- 5:15Speaker 1: for military purposes. Remember they took out that one bridge,
- 5:17Speaker 1: that huge bridge. It was primarily being used for military transfer.
- 5:21Speaker 1: That's where they took that out. So they'll be more
- 5:24Speaker 1: of that. They will just take away everything. Now, Iran
- 5:29Speaker 1: is threatening that if we go back to combat, they
- 5:34Speaker 1: will attack Middle Eastern countries oil facilities, Cutter Dubai, they'll
- 5:39Speaker 1: take out their oil facilities, and that course could shock
- 5:43Speaker 1: the oil prices in the oil market. But we have
- 5:47Speaker 1: let Iran know that if they do that, we will
- 5:51Speaker 1: take away carg Island, that's their entire oil facility, all
- 5:54Speaker 1: their oil refinery, everything is on carg Island. So they've
- 5:58Speaker 1: been told if they do any that we will carefully
- 6:01Speaker 1: systematically totally dismantle carg Island. It will be gone forever.
- 6:07Speaker 1: So we'll see where that goes. Now, it's possible, just possible,
- 6:13Speaker 1: in all of this combat, that could become in this
- 6:15Speaker 1: two to three weeks that we might go in and
- 6:18Speaker 1: take some of the nuclear material. It's mostly in nuclear dust.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Israel is pretty good at figuring out where it is.
- 6:25Speaker 1: The way they would get it, it would require ground
- 6:27Speaker 1: forces to go in quickly, but we've already done that twice.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Remember we've gone in twice with ground forces into Iran,
- 6:36Speaker 1: both times when we had to recover the pilots from
- 6:38Speaker 1: that plane that was down both times. And if you
- 6:42Speaker 1: have to get the nuclear material, the way they're going
- 6:44Speaker 1: to do that, they will set up a two mile
- 6:46Speaker 1: perimeter around it. That'll be known as the dead zone.
- 6:50Speaker 1: A two mile perimeter will be set up around it
- 6:53Speaker 1: and they will kill anything instantly that enters that perimeter.
- 6:57Speaker 1: And while that's going on, some special forces will go
- 7:01Speaker 1: in there and get the nuclear material. They know how
- 7:03Speaker 1: to dig it out. It's nuclear dust, they know how
- 7:05Speaker 1: to remove it. We've done this before. We did this
- 7:08Speaker 1: in Libya years ago when Kadafi gave up his nuclear material.
- 7:11Speaker 1: We've got special teams that know how to go in there,
- 7:14Speaker 1: get it out of the ground, store it properly, and
- 7:16Speaker 1: get it out of there. So that could be a
- 7:19Speaker 1: part of this. So hey, they had these hearings yesterday.
- 7:23Speaker 1: You got to give the Democrats credit. They're really good
- 7:25Speaker 1: at hearings. It's supposed to be questioning the witness, you questions.
- 7:31Speaker 1: They just call them names, yell at him, accuse him
- 7:33Speaker 1: of everything. They don't let him talk. If he tries
- 7:35Speaker 1: to answer, they talk right over him. If he tries
- 7:38Speaker 1: to come back at them, they start screaming for the chairman.
- 7:41Speaker 1: So they're really good at Republicans stink at hearings. They're
- 7:43Speaker 1: too quiet, gentlemanly. So Trump wants to set up this
- 7:49Speaker 1: fund one point eight billion dollars. It'll be a fund
- 7:52Speaker 1: that'll repay the victims of Biden and Merrick Garland's crazy
- 7:56Speaker 1: law fare. And there were many people who were targeted.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You know, Rogers Stone's a good example, did absolutely nothing wrong.
- 8:04Speaker 1: They did the most crazy arrest of him with hundreds
- 8:08Speaker 1: of forces on his lawn, guns bazookas tanks literally, and
- 8:12Speaker 1: then he did nothing wrong. Of course, he was going
- 8:14Speaker 1: to get acquitted once it got to a real court,
- 8:16Speaker 1: and he threw it all out. But in the meantime
- 8:18Speaker 1: they bankrupted him. They took his life savings, they took
- 8:20Speaker 1: his house, they took all his money, they took his cars,
- 8:23Speaker 1: they took everything and left him penniless. So that's what
- 8:27Speaker 1: this would be for people like that, people who were
- 8:30Speaker 1: targeted by Merrick Garland and Joe Biden. It would repay
- 8:33Speaker 1: their legal expenses, that sort of stuff. There might be
- 8:36Speaker 1: some January sixth people in there, because many of them
- 8:38Speaker 1: did nothing. They weren't even in the building, and they
- 8:41Speaker 1: got thrown in prison for eight years and bankrupted with
- 8:44Speaker 1: legal expenses. So then he got this Van holland he's
- 8:48Speaker 1: like the new Barney Frank, but worse, yelling and screaming
- 8:50Speaker 1: about it's not just a fun by the way, this
- 8:52Speaker 1: kind of fund. We've done this before many times. Obama
- 8:56Speaker 1: did the same thing. Obama sent up a fund to
- 8:59Speaker 1: repay people have been victimized by the government. It's done
- 9:01Speaker 1: all the time. But this is that democratic amnesia. So
- 9:05Speaker 1: they call it a slush fund and listened to this yesterday.
- 9:08Speaker 3: You created a one point eight billion dollar slush fund
- 9:12Speaker 3: to dole out taxpayer dollars to the president supporters, including
- 9:16Speaker 3: those who attacked this capital on January sixth. That is
- 9:20Speaker 3: pure theft of public funds.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Now, it could be a lot of them are Trump supporters,
- 9:29Speaker 1: but why would that be Because they were the ones targeted.
- 9:31Speaker 1: They were the ones Merrick Garland and Joe Biden went after.
- 9:34Speaker 1: They weren't targeting their own. So Todd Blanche and I
- 9:40Speaker 1: had to sit there and go through all this with
- 9:41Speaker 1: each of these senators.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Your announcement said that the fund will send you quarterly reports.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Will you commit to making these reports fully public so
- 9:50Speaker 4: Americans know who's getting taxpayer dollars out of this settlement fund?
- 9:54Speaker 4: This says they'll be confidential. This is Section four, part
- 9:57Speaker 4: E of the settlement Agreement.
- 9:59Speaker 2: The reason why I want to be careful of my
- 10:01Speaker 2: answer is because there's obviously laws that exist around privacy
- 10:04Speaker 2: that would.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Mine is Senator Cooons, he's too nice, he's kind of gentlemen.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Let's get back to Van Hollen. This guy's are real animals.
- 10:09Speaker 3: So you're not going to you're not going to submit
- 10:12Speaker 3: this proposal to any federal judge, or that there is
- 10:15Speaker 3: no judge, any independent authority.
- 10:17Speaker 2: That an independ What does that mean? An independent authority?
- 10:20Speaker 3: It means not somebody who's getting to pick five of
- 10:22Speaker 3: the members. Who is the president's former personal attorney. That
- 10:26Speaker 3: would be somebody who would be independent.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I'm the acting attorney general. Okay. The fact that I
- 10:30Speaker 2: used to be President Trump's lawyer is just a fact.
- 10:33Speaker 2: But I'm the acting attorney general. So don't say the
- 10:35Speaker 2: president's former personal lawyer will do something the acting attorney
- 10:38Speaker 2: general will do.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Sister Attorney General, you are acting today like the president.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Why I want to go to a federal judge. You've
- 10:48Speaker 1: see what these federal judges do. They're all crazy.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Can you commit to making the rules so that that
- 10:54Speaker 3: person is not eligible for a payout under this fund?
- 10:58Speaker 2: Well, you're obviously in your question because there's no way
- 11:02Speaker 2: that this person committed to that. But the slush fund,
- 11:05Speaker 2: as you call it, which is not didn't it? I'm sure,
- 11:07Speaker 2: but I can't commit mistir.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Terry General, don't ever do that again.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I am reporting what again?
- 11:14Speaker 1: He said?
- 11:15Speaker 3: He said on the expectation that he hoped to get
- 11:18Speaker 3: some of the funds from a payout.
- 11:20Speaker 2: He's been you said up in the slush fund, Senator,
- 11:22Speaker 2: and that didn't exist.
- 11:23Speaker 1: When he said that, say this is Van Holly, he's
- 11:27Speaker 1: actually threatening the Attorney General. Don't ever do that again.
- 11:31Speaker 1: The hell are you going to do about? This guy
- 11:32Speaker 1: is the Attorney General of the United States. They were
- 11:34Speaker 1: also these hearings with Sean Duffy, nicest guy in the world,
- 11:37Speaker 1: Transportation Secretary. So they're all trying to beat him up.
- 11:41Speaker 1: But he did his homework. Kristin Gillibrand, who was always
- 11:44Speaker 1: hiding under the radar somewhere, but she tried to go
- 11:47Speaker 1: after him for a conflict of interest, but then he
- 11:50Speaker 1: finds out she's taken seven million from that same conflict
- 11:53Speaker 1: of it. Uh So, all these Democrats, what are they're
- 11:56Speaker 1: accusing you of. Meantime, they took millions from the same thing.
- 11:59Speaker 5: You received seven million dollars in political contract from the
- 12:02Speaker 5: trail bar. Honestly, this has nothing to do with members
- 12:05Speaker 5: of Congress.
- 12:06Speaker 2: This has to do with.
- 12:06Speaker 3: The fact that you went on a paid vacation that
- 12:10Speaker 3: was paid by companies that you've oversee.
- 12:13Speaker 5: Seven million dollars. You have jurists, you have jurisdiction on
- 12:18Speaker 5: the trailbar.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I don't know. If you receive seven million from them,
- 12:22Speaker 1: that's a pretty relevant You're not exactly conflict free there.
- 12:26Speaker 1: It is more a duffy.
- 12:28Speaker 4: If you give a million dollars, you get six VIP
- 12:31Speaker 4: invitations to receptions, you get to go to round tables,
- 12:34Speaker 4: you get to networking events.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Someone from someone from the healthcare industry gives you two
- 12:38Speaker 5: million dollars.
- 12:39Speaker 2: What do they get for it?
- 12:41Speaker 5: What do you do not oversee the your jurisdiction. I
- 12:45Speaker 5: do not have jurisdiction million dollars to put your face
- 12:49Speaker 5: on TV, to stay dinners, mister, secretary, vacations?
- 12:53Speaker 2: What you do? Mister? Welcome to MUGA. Welcome to drill. Secretary?
- 12:58Speaker 2: Are you going to drill to?
- 12:59Speaker 5: Do you want to support gas prices? I welcome that,
- 13:02Speaker 5: let's drill.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Duffy pretty good. Remember he's a former TV host,
- 13:06Speaker 1: TV debater, so he's pretty good at that. But it's
- 13:09Speaker 1: a good question. When you're the senator and the healthcare
- 13:12Speaker 1: company gives you two million, what do they get for it? Well,
- 13:15Speaker 1: they get plenty for it. You know, That's what these
- 13:18Speaker 1: Chuck Schumer types do. They're in that's their business. Donor
- 13:21Speaker 1: service donors write massive checks, millions of dollars at checks
- 13:27Speaker 1: to their packs, their political packs. And then what do
- 13:30Speaker 1: they get for it. They get the senator's cell number.
- 13:32Speaker 1: They can call any time they want. They can come
- 13:34Speaker 1: down and see them, talk to them on the phone.
- 13:36Speaker 1: They can get whatever they need. I need a regulation changed,
- 13:40Speaker 1: I need something in this department of the government. Can
- 13:42Speaker 1: you call them up? And that's what they do all day. No, no,
- 13:45Speaker 1: not every senator is a bad Schumer is famous for
- 13:48Speaker 1: donor service. That's why big Republican donors give to Schumer
- 13:51Speaker 1: all the time. And if you say why do you
- 13:53Speaker 1: keep giving to Schumer, they'll actually tell you I can
- 13:56Speaker 1: wake him up at three in the morning. They'll do
- 13:58Speaker 1: anything I need. That's the way it works. And that's
- 14:02Speaker 1: what that's what lobbyists do. You know, lobbyist has a
- 14:05Speaker 1: million of these donors. So if the lobbyist comes to
- 14:08Speaker 1: the center, I need this bill, I need this lawch
- 14:11Speaker 1: and okay, and it's done. Now what does the lobbyist
- 14:15Speaker 1: do for them? The senator will call the lobbyist, Hey,
- 14:17Speaker 1: for my election, I need five million by Tuesday, okay,
- 14:21Speaker 1: and he'll call ten donors and have him give five
- 14:23Speaker 1: hundred thousand each. You'll get you the five millions. Just
- 14:26Speaker 1: like that, big night for the Knicks. They not only won,
- 14:30Speaker 1: but they were way behind, a big rally, a big comeback.
- 14:33Speaker 1: It was a great bull in that fourth quarter. Groge
- 14:38Speaker 1: gets pass hard and gets inside, the floors up and
- 14:40Speaker 1: good Tayland Pudson once again. Then it's a four point Nicklease.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Well it was a good night for them. They well
- 14:47Speaker 1: they call it the miracle on the thirty third Street.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Pretty good. The Knicks not winning anything for years, suddenly unbelievable. Hey,
- 14:55Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three to two
- 14:58Speaker 1: one zero seven ten, the number eight hundred three two
- 15:02Speaker 1: one zero seven ten,
