  Speaker 1: start us off in prayer, Father God, in the name
• 1:58
  Speaker 1: of Jesus, ord of thank you for this hour, for

  Speaker 1: this opportunity to come before your people, Lord God, to
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: share that you have placed on my heart or God Father,
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: asked that you would remove me out of the way
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: on this morning and allow your spirit man to come

  Speaker 1: forth on this morning, Lord God, that I will share

  Speaker 1: that but you have placed on the inside of me

  Speaker 1: to come forth. Or God Father, I thank you for

  Speaker 1: y'all lone. Y'all know I can. I'd like to jump

  Speaker 1: on and jump right on off, but I'm gonna share

  Speaker 1: what God has laid in my spirit to share with you. Guys,

  Speaker 1: he allowed me these books. He allowed me opportunity to

  Speaker 1: share through books that that he stuffed for me. All

  Speaker 1: he wants to do is to share our gudness. And

  Speaker 1: I come from you as someone that have experienced some things.

  Speaker 1: I don't come in an office. I don't come with

  Speaker 1: a title, I don't come with any of that. I

  Speaker 1: just come with the ability to share what he' stuff

  Speaker 1: for me. And the words that I know work. So

  Speaker 1: I want to share them with you so that you

  Speaker 1: too can apply them to your life, so that they

  Speaker 1: can manifest in your life. So y'all, let's jump on

  Speaker 1: me and get started on this morning. All right, all right?

  Speaker 1: So again, our devotion this morning is coming from Joshua
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: one and nine. It says, have I not commanded you
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, do not
• 4:15
  Speaker 1: be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: you wherever you go. Did you hear that? I won't
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: say that again? He said, have I not commanded you
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, and do
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: with you wherever you go. I'm telling you, wherever you go,
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: you just gotta go. But what is Joshua one and
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: I saying that that's what we want to talk about today?
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: What does that message mean? So this is a timeless message.
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: God speaks directly to the art of every person who
• 5:01
  Speaker 1: stands on the edge of something new, challenging, and the unknown.
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: This scripture is God's personal encouragement for us to face
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: our fears and uncertainties, not with our own confidence, but
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: with the assurance that we are never alone. You're never
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: alone on this journey. We got to know that He
• 5:22
  Speaker 1: is always with us. Today. This verse is saying God
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: understands we will in kinter moments that require strength and courage,
• 5:34
  Speaker 1: whether in family, work, health, or faith. We are commanded
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: to be strong and courageous, not because we are never afraid,
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: but because He is with us in every situation. Know
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: that God is with us. Know that He wants you
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: to He didn't give us the spirit of fear. He's
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: given us the spirit of strength and to have faith
• 6:00
  Speaker 1: and to trust him. He's given us the spirit of trust,
• 6:03
  Speaker 1: and we have to put our trust in him. Fear
• 6:06
  Speaker 1: and discouragement do not have a final say. Even when
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: we feel overwhelmed, we can rise because God's presence goes
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: with us, guiding us and sustaining us, just as he
• 6:27
  Speaker 1: was with Joshua entering the uncharted territories. God's promises to
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: be faithful to us too. So wherever life takes us,
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: we got to understand that God is going to be
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: with us. He is going to be with us. So
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: and Joshua one and nine. It invites every believer to
• 7:00
  Speaker 1: dep out boldly into the challenges of today, certain that
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: God is by your side, with him inconsistently. He is
• 7:10
  Speaker 1: your companion. We have every reason to live by courage
• 7:15
  Speaker 1: and hope because he said he will never leave us.

  Speaker 1: If we truly understand the word and truly believe the word,
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: his word is not going to return to him more.
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: He reminds us that in Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven,
• 7:27
  Speaker 1: that is my scripture. That is my goal, torough scripture.
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: He got a plan for you, he declared that. So
• 7:32
  Speaker 1: that means that it's already done, it's past it, it
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: is written. So everything that He has planned for you,
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: you just got to catch up to your destiny. You
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: just got to align with His will for you. So
• 7:44
  Speaker 1: today I want you to speak over your life. I
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: want you to speak that I am courageous for God,
• 7:50
  Speaker 1: It's with me wherever I go. You got to speak
• 7:52
  Speaker 1: that over your life. Understand it, believe it, trust it,
• 7:56
  Speaker 1: and allow it to manifest in your life. Understand this
• 8:01
  Speaker 1: fear is something that everyone faces at different points in
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: their life, whether it's a big change, a new challenge,
• 8:09
  Speaker 1: or uncertain about their future. Fear tries to hold you back.
• 8:14
  Speaker 1: But God calls us not just to manage our fear,
• 8:17
  Speaker 1: but to overcome it with courage. Courage that comes not
• 8:22
  Speaker 1: from our own strength, but from knowing that we are
• 8:26
  Speaker 1: never alone. We gotta trust God. We gotta take them
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: for his word. We gotta apply that word to our
• 8:32
  Speaker 1: lives so that it can manifest through us. If we
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: go back and we understand that when the Book of
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: Joshua it was written, and it opens at a pivotal moment,
• 8:45
  Speaker 1: Moses was the revered leader of Israel. He has just
• 8:49
  Speaker 1: passed away, and now Joshua is called to lead the
• 8:52
  Speaker 1: Israelites into the Promised Land, a daunting, almost terrifying task.
• 8:58
  Speaker 1: God knows Joshua is facing with uncertainty, our position and
• 9:03
  Speaker 1: huge responsibility of stepping into Moses' shoes. That's why God
• 9:09
  Speaker 1: tells Joseph not once, but three times to be strong
• 9:13
  Speaker 1: and courageous. God promises, I will never leave you nor
• 9:17
  Speaker 1: forsake you. He says that in Joshua one five. Our
• 9:22
  Speaker 1: courage then is not due to our power or our abilities,
• 9:26
  Speaker 1: but because God is with us every step of the way,
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: and we gotta trust that. We gotta believe that, we
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: gotta understand that know that He's with you. There's a
• 9:37
  Speaker 1: unique Bible story, the Widow of Zafreth Thea and it's
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: over in verse King seventeen, verses eight to sixteen. While
• 9:48
  Speaker 1: many speaks of David and Goliath, here's a rarely mentioned
• 9:52
  Speaker 1: story doing a severe phantom. God sends Elijah to a
• 9:56
  Speaker 1: widow at Zarefatha. She is gathering sticks to cook her
• 10:03
  Speaker 1: last meal for herself and her son before resigning. Resigning
• 10:08
  Speaker 1: to death, Elijah asks her to first make a bread
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: for him. Full of fear and uncertainty, she chose faith
• 10:16
  Speaker 1: over fear, believing that God's promises through Elijah. Her courage
• 10:21
  Speaker 1: leads to a miracle. Her jar of flour and jug
• 10:25
  Speaker 1: of oil never rent run dry. God shows that true
• 10:29
  Speaker 1: courage often means trust in Him, even when the odds,
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: sings impossible, or when you are at your weakest. Just
• 10:38
  Speaker 1: as he did it for her, he'll do it for you.
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: All you got to do is trust him. Are you
• 10:43
  Speaker 1: willing to trust him? On? Today? Our word of the
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: day is emboldment too in bold means too give someone

  Speaker 1: the courage and confidence to do something. Today. Let God's
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: present and bold you to face what scares you. God's
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: presence drives out fear. Even though I walk through the
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are
• 11:13
  Speaker 1: with me. Your ride and your staff they comfort me.

  Speaker 1: Psalms twenty three, verses four. Courage is a commandment. It's
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: not a suggestion. He commands us to have courage. Notice
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: that God commands Joshua to be courageous. Courage is a
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: choice we make by faith, not based on our feelings.
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart. Wait
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: for the Lord that Psalms twenty seven and fourteen. God
• 11:43
  Speaker 1: uses the fearful to accomplish great things. The widow or
• 11:48
  Speaker 1: Joffadah had very little, but in her moment of fear,
• 11:53
  Speaker 1: she acted courageously and faithfully. Her story shows us that
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: God rewards us for coreat courage how can we apply
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: what we are learning in this scripture and this scripture
• 12:07
  Speaker 1: to our life. It's something that we read scripture. But
• 12:14
  Speaker 1: when we read these scriptures and we get a revelation
• 12:17
  Speaker 1: and we get an understanding of what is being said
• 12:20
  Speaker 1: in these scriptures, we have to immediately apply that to
• 12:23
  Speaker 1: our life. We don't have to wait till tomorrow. When
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: when you sit and you do a devotion or you
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: get a new revelation on a scripture or a word,
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: you have to apply that to your life. Every time
• 12:34
  Speaker 1: you sit and you read the word of God, you
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: should apply it to your life so that you can
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: see his word manifests. Our whole thing is being able
• 12:45
  Speaker 1: to see God's word manifest in our lives, so that
• 12:48
  Speaker 1: we can share with others what He has done for
• 12:51
  Speaker 1: us and how his word is true, because it's all
• 12:54
  Speaker 1: about drawing others to Him and knowing his goodness, y'all,
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: And that's what we're supposed to we're doing as believers,
• 13:01
  Speaker 1: and we don't have to walk in offices, we don't
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: have to carry titles, we don't have to have all
• 13:05
  Speaker 1: of that. He wants us to be able to share
• 13:08
  Speaker 1: his goodness because at the end of the day. Everything
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: that we do, y'all, it should point back to the
• 13:14
  Speaker 1: one that created us, I mean everything. So here is
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: some ways that we can apply this word. Every day.
• 13:22
  Speaker 1: Do not be anxious for anything, but in every situation,
• 13:26
  Speaker 1: pray in petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
• 13:30
  Speaker 1: He tells us that in Philippians four and sixteen. So
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: every day pray boldly. Go before him. Asks if you
• 13:39
  Speaker 1: are uncertain about things, if you have questions about anything,
• 13:43
  Speaker 1: asks him, he said, asks, and you shall receive, knock
• 13:46
  Speaker 1: any shall open, seek, and you shall find. We have
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: that power to do that. So I'm challenging you to
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: do that on today, before you go out into this world,
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: before you face this world, before you face uncertainty. It's
• 14:00
  Speaker 1: because y'all, we know that things are gonna come. Things
• 14:03
  Speaker 1: are gonna come against us, because that is in the world.
• 14:07
  Speaker 1: Because we know that we have to prepare ourself daily,
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: just like we should repent daily because we don't know.
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: Sometimes we think that we're doing what we're supposed to do,
• 14:18
  Speaker 1: but we can still be out of the will of God.
• 14:21
  Speaker 1: So it's important that we repent, we ask for forgiveness,
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: and then when we do stuff we got to ask
• 14:27
  Speaker 1: for forgiveness and then turn from that thing. We can't
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: keep going back to the same thing and doing it
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: over and over and over again. Once you come into
• 14:37
  Speaker 1: the knowledge, you got to be accountable for that thing. Today,
• 14:41
  Speaker 1: I want you to take the first step forward like Joshua,
• 14:45
  Speaker 1: step out in faith, even when you don't know the
• 14:48
  Speaker 1: whole plan. Trust the Lord with all your heart, and
• 14:52
  Speaker 1: lean not on your own understanding. That's what we do.
• 14:55
  Speaker 1: We lead on our own understanding. We may not understand
• 14:59
  Speaker 1: where the money is coming from. We might understand where
• 15:02
  Speaker 1: the next vision is coming from. So we may be
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: stagning in what we're doing. But we gotta trust him.
• 15:08
  Speaker 1: If he called you to it, he gonna see you
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: through it. He not gonna leave you out in the willingness.
• 15:12
  Speaker 1: He's not gonna leave you. He's not gonna hang you
• 15:14
  Speaker 1: out to dry, because that's not the God that we serve. Now,
• 15:18
  Speaker 1: if we got free will. Now we choose some things,
• 15:20
  Speaker 1: He may let us hang around and go through some
• 15:23
  Speaker 1: things because of the choices that we may But if
• 15:25
  Speaker 1: we aligned to his word and do what he tells
• 15:28
  Speaker 1: us to do, we'll never be alone. He tells us

  Speaker 1: that we will never be alone. Never be alone, even
• 15:34
  Speaker 1: when we in our mess. Now, he if he gonna
• 15:37
  Speaker 1: stay down there with you, if you make your bed
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: in hell, he gonna be with you. But he ain't staying.

  Speaker 1: He may go down there and visit with you and
• 15:44
  Speaker 1: come on back up. And you gotta get yourself up

  Speaker 1: out of there, because He's given us what we need. Y'all. Today,

  Speaker 1: I'll challenge you to encourage someone else. Encourage someone else today,
• 15:56
  Speaker 1: share the word of courage with someone facing their own fears.

  Speaker 1: It said, and first Thessalonians five and eleven. Therefore, encourage
• 16:06
  Speaker 1: one another, build each other up. That's what we're supposed
• 16:09
  Speaker 1: to do that. It's a commandment, y'all. It's not a choice.

  Speaker 1: You don't have a choice. To lift up others. That's
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: what we are supposed to be doing. We're not supposed
• 16:19
  Speaker 1: to be out here with our hands out trying to
• 16:22
  Speaker 1: pull and trying to pray on people. We're supposed to
• 16:24
  Speaker 1: be uplifting people. Understand that true courage come from knowing
• 16:33
  Speaker 1: that God is always with you. Just like Joshua on
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: the edge of the Promised Land, the widow ends our friar,
• 16:40
  Speaker 1: facing hunger and death. We are called to face our
• 16:44
  Speaker 1: fears with confidence. God never leaves us. So we gotta
• 16:49
  Speaker 1: understand that, y'all. There to be messing with my voice
• 16:53
  Speaker 1: right now. I don't know what's going on because I
• 16:54
  Speaker 1: was just talking just fine. But he messing with my
• 16:57
  Speaker 1: voice right now. But I will not be quiet. I
• 16:59
  Speaker 1: will not be quiet. On today, when you feel afraid,

  Speaker 1: remember that God himself goes before you and bold and
• 17:08
  Speaker 1: you and will never fail. Hold on to him. Take
• 17:13
  Speaker 1: the steps that's needed. And watch how courage wise within you.

  Speaker 1: It's in you already. I believe that in Genesis two
• 17:22
  Speaker 1: and seven he say he breathed a breath of life
• 17:24
  Speaker 1: into us, y'all. So everything that we ever need is
• 17:28
  Speaker 1: already in us. It's up to us to tap into
• 17:31
  Speaker 1: that that He has placed on the inside of us,

  Speaker 1: to tap in and align with our purpose, aligned with
• 17:39
  Speaker 1: His perfect will. So I want you, guys to remember

  Speaker 1: the affirmation for today. Let me go back up here

  Speaker 1: I am courageous, for God is with me wherever I go.

  Speaker 1: Speak it over your life. And I went down to

  Speaker 1: goodness or God. When we come in contact with others
