- 0:15Speaker 1: Hi, everybody. I'm Tony Todd.
- 0:16Speaker 2: You're listening to Movie Meltdown.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Pay attention and enjoy the conversations, the unique conversations.
- 0:29Speaker 2: This episode is rated M for Misty. Yes, that's right,
- 0:32Speaker 2: this is a Misty episode, so it will be laced
- 0:34Speaker 2: with profanity even more than usual. If you're not comfortable
- 0:37Speaker 2: with this level of profanity, perhaps this isn't the episode
- 0:40Speaker 2: for you. But we have many other episodes to choose
- 0:43Speaker 2: from that do not feature Misty, and will probably be
- 0:45Speaker 2: far less offensive.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Okay, maybe.
- 0:47Speaker 2: With that having been said, on with the show.
- 0:50Speaker 4: It's showtime.
- 0:52Speaker 5: Our nuclear reactor pumping out one.
- 0:55Speaker 6: Million kilowatts of power.
- 1:22Speaker 4: What's up and welcome to Movie Meltdown. I'm Brian.
- 1:41Speaker 7: I'm Misty.
- 1:42Speaker 4: And we're coming to you live via digital recording from
- 1:44Speaker 4: the bastion of awesomeness.
- 1:46Speaker 3: A.K.A. our dirty ass kitchen.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Must you always out your own bastion.
- 1:52Speaker 3: I can't tell if it's lettuce from your tacos or
- 1:54Speaker 3: lettuce from tacos from days ago.
- 1:56Speaker 4: I don't have lettuce.
- 1:57Speaker 3: That's why I thought it was ours. You had Taco Bell,
- 1:59Speaker 3: so I couldn't quite tell.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I don't have lettuce, though. Mine were rolled chicken tacos,
- 2:02Speaker 4: and they had given us.
- 2:03Speaker 3: It could have been... It looks awful fresh. It could be, like,
- 2:06Speaker 3: rogue lettuce.
- 2:07Speaker 4: That you just carried in from the street. You're always
- 2:09Speaker 4: being jumped by rogue lettuce.
- 2:11Speaker 3: I'm saying it might have, like, snuck into your Taco
- 2:13Speaker 3: Bell bag. Like, incident, like, in there.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Mm-hmm. You're trying to blame me, but I think you
- 2:17Speaker 4: just have.
- 2:18Speaker 7: Pick it up.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Is it crunchy?
- 2:19Speaker 4: I think you just have bits of lettuce falling off
- 2:21Speaker 4: you at all times.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I take that back. It could be cabbage.
- 2:24Speaker 4: That is definitely not mine, because me and cabbage, that
- 2:27Speaker 4: don't happen.
- 2:28Speaker 3: The boyfriend, he loves his cabbage. Just big chunks of it.
- 2:31Speaker 3: He just cuts it into quarters and just eats it.
- 2:33Speaker 4: That's craziness.
- 2:34Speaker 8: I know.
- 2:34Speaker 3: He's so weird. I love him.
- 2:35Speaker 7: Craziness.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Those things are green. Doesn't he know that?
- 2:38Speaker 7: Leafy.
- 2:39Speaker 4: What the hell?
- 2:40Speaker 3: I eat greens, but it's usually in Skittle form.
- 2:42Speaker 4: There you go. See, I'm like, ollie thinks that are
- 2:45Speaker 4: green jello they make green.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Jello i want to retract that statement because i'm still
- 2:49Speaker 3: pissed at skittles and they're green not original flavor fuck
- 2:53Speaker 3: you guys don't slap original on there when you change
- 2:57Speaker 3: one of the flavors don't try to trick me green
- 2:59Speaker 3: apple is not original and it has.
- 3:01Speaker 4: It used to be lime used.
- 3:02Speaker 3: To be lime which lime although not my favorite went
- 3:06Speaker 3: well with the lemon.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Lemon and lime it's kind of a sprite thing And
- 3:10Speaker 4: now it's just green apple.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Green apple doesn't go well with any of those other flavors.
- 3:13Speaker 4: That's what I was going to say. I don't have
- 3:14Speaker 4: a problem with green apple. I even like green apple
- 3:16Speaker 4: flavored candies. I think I claimed a green apple dum-dum recently.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I spent years getting the proper measurements and matches and
- 3:24Speaker 3: pairings of which Skittles would taste the best together.
- 3:27Speaker 4: That's my thing. I don't see that working with most
- 3:30Speaker 4: of the other Skittle flavors.
- 3:31Speaker 3: It does not.
- 3:33Speaker 4: If you've got the right dynamic, that's one thing. But
- 3:36Speaker 4: maybe the cherry.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 3:39Speaker 4: The rest of them.
- 3:39Speaker 3: I mean, this has been like a years on. I mean,
- 3:41Speaker 3: they've been doing this for years now. And I don't
- 3:43Speaker 3: know if they just figured I would notice. Like, we're
- 3:45Speaker 3: just going to slap original on there. But one of
- 3:48Speaker 3: them's not really original anymore.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Maybe they're just messing with you.
- 3:52Speaker 8: Fuckers.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Just trying to see if you're paying attention.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I'm paying attention and I am not liking what I'm seeing.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Although I never liked the green ones anyway. So like
- 3:59Speaker 3: all during like one summer, like I would buy like
- 4:01Speaker 3: the big bags, like the huge bags of Skittles. And
- 4:04Speaker 3: I would save all the green ones because this girl
- 4:06Speaker 3: that I was friends with, her name was Katie. She
- 4:08Speaker 3: liked the green ones and I hated the green ones.
- 4:10Speaker 3: So like all summer I would buy like these huge
- 4:12Speaker 3: bags of Skittles and I would eat all of them
- 4:14Speaker 3: except for the green ones. So when school started back up,
- 4:16Speaker 3: I gave her like this huge Ziploc bag full of
- 4:19Speaker 3: green Skittles.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I did that. Some weirdo that I worked with
- 4:22Speaker 4: had a thing, I think just for the red ones,
- 4:25Speaker 4: but like was really upset that like they couldn't get,
- 4:28Speaker 4: like they couldn't just go and buy a bag of
- 4:29Speaker 4: red ones.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Because the red ones, I usually eat them in order.
- 4:32Speaker 3: There's an order I eat them in when I'm not.
- 4:33Speaker 2: You're so crazy.
- 4:34Speaker 3: I'm not crazy. The green ones usually go first. They're
- 4:36Speaker 3: my least favorite. Then the yellow ones, then the purple ones,
- 4:38Speaker 3: then the orange ones, then the red ones.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Crazy town.
- 4:42Speaker 3: No, I said at least when the green ones were lime,
- 4:43Speaker 3: I could kind of mix them up with the yellow ones.
- 4:46Speaker 3: And it didn't matter so much. They weren't quite so segregated.
- 4:48Speaker 3: But now that it's like, no, specifically green ones, yellow ones,
- 4:52Speaker 3: purple ones. These purple ones are not like anything purple flavored.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Purple is a good flavor.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Not when it comes to candy. Jolly Rangers are the worst.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Anything grape flavored is horrible.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Grape drink. You need your grape drink. Oh, man. No, no, no.
- 5:08Speaker 4: You just ain't living right.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Apparently not.
- 5:13Speaker 4: So, how's it going?
- 5:16Speaker 3: I don't even get on this conversation of Skittles this time.
- 5:18Speaker 4: I don't know. You're a crackhead that eats lots of candy.
- 5:21Speaker 7: I do.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Maybe that's the problem. I just ate some more candy.
- 5:23Speaker 4: I mean, we're at a very monumental point in history.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Just had a really big thing go down.
- 5:31Speaker 3: The monster cereal election.
- 5:33Speaker 4: The monster cereal election.
- 5:34Speaker 3: My candidate won.
- 5:35Speaker 7: Hell yeah.
- 5:36Speaker 4: I mean, that's how we process.
- 5:38Speaker 7: Things on this show.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I couldn't figure that one out because I'm pretty sure
- 5:40Speaker 3: it was rigged. Because I voted for Count Chocula every
- 5:43Speaker 3: goddamn day.
- 5:44Speaker 4: It's rigged.
- 5:44Speaker 2: It's rigged.
- 5:45Speaker 3: I vote up for Count Dracula every day, yet somehow
- 5:48Speaker 3: Indiana still stayed a blueberry state. And I have not
- 5:50Speaker 3: figured that one out for the life of me. Because honestly,
- 5:53Speaker 3: the past couple years, blueberry has gone down in quality
- 5:56Speaker 3: and flavor.
- 5:56Speaker 4: It just doesn't stand for what it used to.
- 5:59Speaker 7: It does not.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Because it's like, a boyfriend who usually eats blueberry until
- 6:03Speaker 3: he poops blue did not eat even one box this year.
- 6:06Speaker 3: And I bought at least one box somewhere, and he
- 6:09Speaker 3: didn't do that. accidentally bought two boxes of Frankenberry when
- 6:12Speaker 3: I went to buy two boxes of Count Choco and
- 6:13Speaker 3: oh my god, I was so upset.
- 6:15Speaker 4: You should be.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Because they were on clearance and I'm like, ooh, I
- 6:17Speaker 3: bought the box and I'm like, because they're in this
- 6:19Speaker 3: bag right here.
- 6:20Speaker 4: See, I didn't stock up this year because I realized
- 6:23Speaker 4: I think I still had a box from last year.
- 6:25Speaker 3: You got to see this wall.
- 6:26Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. Well, that's why I looked and
- 6:28Speaker 4: I was like, I looked at the back of the
- 6:29Speaker 4: shelf where I'd crammed a bunch of stuff last year
- 6:31Speaker 4: when I was moving foods and extra crap in my
- 6:34Speaker 4: moving process.
- 6:35Speaker 3: There's still some yummy mummy over here.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Well, there should be. It's no fruit burp, but, you know,
- 6:38Speaker 4: it's pretty cool.
- 6:39Speaker 3: That might have made it to the cabinet.
- 6:41Speaker 4: But, yeah, I was like, I think there's still a
- 6:43Speaker 4: sealed box that I bought last year when I was
- 6:46Speaker 4: hoarding of my cereals and I hadn't gotten around to it.
- 6:49Speaker 4: So I was like, maybe I'll just back off this
- 6:51Speaker 4: year and not stock up quite so much on my
- 6:53Speaker 4: monster cereals, which sounds like crazy talk, but.
- 6:56Speaker 3: This one only expired last year.
- 6:57Speaker 4: There you go. Let's eat it right now.
- 7:00Speaker 3: It's still sealed.
- 7:02Speaker 4: For your safety and protection.
- 7:04Speaker 7: Oh, shit.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I got some up in that cabinet, too, that might
- 7:08Speaker 3: be sealed still. From 1978.
- 7:10Speaker 4: I wasn't even born yet. So other than that earth shattering.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Who did you vote for?
- 7:17Speaker 4: Count Chocula?
- 7:18Speaker 3: I don't know if you like Boo-Berry.
- 7:21Speaker 4: I've always been go-to Count Chocula.
- 7:23Speaker 7: I mean, I like.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Frankenberry, I think... Maybe it's just a knee-jerk reaction as
- 7:29Speaker 4: a kid. I was like, that's pink. I can't eat that.
- 7:31Speaker 3: I'm okay with that.
- 7:32Speaker 4: And then later I came around, like when I re-embraced
- 7:35Speaker 4: it and they kept bringing him back out at Halloween,
- 7:36Speaker 4: I was like, all right, this is all right. It's fine.
- 7:38Speaker 4: And I like Frankenstein. So I'm like, the visual of
- 7:41Speaker 4: him is very cool. But yeah, normally if I'm just
- 7:44Speaker 4: stocking up, it's like two out of three times will
- 7:47Speaker 4: be Count Chocula. Every once in a while, I'm like,
- 7:49Speaker 4: I've got to throw in a blueberry to mix things
- 7:50Speaker 4: up a little bit. But yeah, Frankenberry is always pretty
- 7:53Speaker 4: far behind on my normal cereal consumption schedule.
- 7:56Speaker 3: I was rather disappointed in the boxes this year, I guess,
- 7:58Speaker 3: because they were going with the election thing, which is
- 7:59Speaker 3: just kind of boring. I was hoping for more of
- 8:01Speaker 3: the classic art. I like the classic art better.
- 8:03Speaker 4: They did that already, though.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I know, but they just knew it at the time.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Again, I'm partial to the classic art, so they could
- 8:08Speaker 4: do that every year, but you know how they are.
- 8:10Speaker 4: They want to mix things up. They want to get
- 8:12Speaker 4: new and weird and try to get attention. So, whatever.
- 8:17Speaker 3: I can't believe I live in a Boo-Berry state.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Not Franken-Berry?
- 8:20Speaker 3: No, a Boo-Berry. Or a Blue State.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:24Speaker 4: What was my side?
- 8:25Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure you were in Count Chocula. Count Chocula
- 8:27Speaker 3: won like 40 states or something.
- 8:30Speaker 4: As it should.
- 8:31Speaker 3: I voted every day and I never won a fucking
- 8:33Speaker 3: shirt either.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Just go and buy one.
- 8:37Speaker 3: I did.
- 8:37Speaker 4: It was just Franken-Berry. I think I got the Count Chocula,
- 8:40Speaker 4: but I wanted just the artwork. I wanted one that
- 8:43Speaker 4: was just the artwork.
- 8:44Speaker 3: I was going to say, I want to eat your cereal.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I got that one. Because I'm a dork. But, yeah,
- 8:49Speaker 4: I don't know. The artwork's awesome.
- 8:51Speaker 3: I was pretty excited. But then I was like, they
- 8:53Speaker 3: left Boo Berry out? How are you going to have
- 8:55Speaker 3: two of the three?
- 8:55Speaker 4: That's kind of what I thought.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I can understand leaving out Fruit Brute and Yummy Mummy.
- 8:59Speaker 4: I would wear a Fruit Brute shirt. I can tell
- 9:01Speaker 4: you that.
- 9:01Speaker 3: I would too.
- 9:02Speaker 4: I'd be all over that.
- 9:03Speaker 3: But seriously, it's like, how are you just going to
- 9:05Speaker 3: have two of the three? I understand having just one even,
- 9:08Speaker 3: you know.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, again, Count Chagula is probably the most recognizable,
- 9:12Speaker 4: so I could see just going with him. But, yeah,
- 9:14Speaker 4: why do two of the three?
- 9:16Speaker 3: And it not be Boo-Berry, you know.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Again, I would think Boo-Berry would almost get the second, yeah,
- 9:22Speaker 4: the second one over Franken-Berry.
- 9:25Speaker 3: It's so weird.
- 9:26Speaker 4: It's a weird world we live in.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Is it rigged?
- 9:28Speaker 4: Everything's rigged.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Apparently. I almost wore my Count Chocula shirt today, but
- 9:34Speaker 3: I figured you'd be wearing yours or something, so I
- 9:36Speaker 3: wore my Beats and Butthead shirt instead.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Classy, as always.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Hell yeah, nachos rule. I've gotten more comments on this
- 9:43Speaker 3: shirt than probably almost any other shirt that I've owned.
- 9:46Speaker 3: I go out and I go, oh, I like your shirt.
- 9:48Speaker 3: I got it from a young, not even teen girl
- 9:51Speaker 3: at Kroger. She's like, oh, I like your shirt. I'm like,
- 9:54Speaker 3: Do you even know who this is?
- 9:55Speaker 4: Probably not. That's weird looking drawings of unattractive people.
- 10:02Speaker 3: At least the heavily tattooed guy that we ran into
- 10:04Speaker 3: at the gas station on the way to New York's like,
- 10:07Speaker 3: I like your shirt. I'm like, I'm pretty sure he
- 10:08Speaker 3: at least knows if he gets it.
- 10:09Speaker 7: Probably.
- 10:10Speaker 4: How recent is the shirt? Or is it like an
- 10:13Speaker 4: old school finder?
- 10:14Speaker 3: Oh, this is a re... This is like a fucking.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Old kind of... I mean, they remake everything.
- 10:17Speaker 3: I bought this shirt at a fucking Old Navy.
- 10:19Speaker 7: Oh, man.
- 10:21Speaker 3: On clearance.
- 10:21Speaker 4: The world we have come to now.
- 10:23Speaker 3: But I do have some original.
- 10:24Speaker 4: That's... I mean, I can't make fun because I've bought several...
- 10:27Speaker 4: They made a bunch of horror shirts that have been
- 10:29Speaker 4: kind of awesome. And I've seen... Specifically, like, people making t-shirts,
- 10:33Speaker 4: because we're friends with lots of dorks and artists, and
- 10:36Speaker 4: they make t-shirts. The shirt is so comfortable. They were
- 10:38Speaker 4: really upset about the fact that, like, Old Navy and
- 10:40Speaker 4: all these other, like, big stores were kind of jumping
- 10:43Speaker 4: on the bandwagon and knocking out, like, you know, horror shirts.
- 10:45Speaker 1: But I'm like.
- 10:46Speaker 3: And they're cheap.
- 10:46Speaker 7: Yeah, but.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Well, not even that. Actually, the ones at Old Navy
- 10:49Speaker 4: weren't even cheap in their original run.
- 10:51Speaker 8: I paid $ 6.
- 10:52Speaker 4: It was on clearance.
- 10:52Speaker 3: But... Which is my favorite of all things.
- 10:55Speaker 4: But some of them were really good artwork. And it
- 10:58Speaker 4: was different artwork than I hadn't seen before. And I'm like,
- 11:00Speaker 4: you know, I can't fault them if they make a
- 11:02Speaker 4: cool shirt. They made a cool shirt. So that's the
- 11:04Speaker 4: world we live in.
- 11:07Speaker 7: Fair market.
- 11:07Speaker 4: You gotta compete. They made a cool shirt. You better
- 11:10Speaker 4: make a cooler shirt.
- 11:11Speaker 3: I was upset that where I bought my Count Chocula shirt,
- 11:13Speaker 3: they had a Beavis and Butthead shirt that I would
- 11:15Speaker 3: have bought, but it wasn't small. I'm a fat kid.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Ain't no small gonna fit on me.
- 11:19Speaker 4: I think I was looking. They didn't have the Franken-Marian
- 11:21Speaker 4: the right size either. It's upsetting.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Anyways, how's it going?
- 11:26Speaker 4: Alright, how's it going?
- 11:29Speaker 3: I went on an adventure.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Is this your road trip and adventure?
- 11:33Speaker 3: Should we not discuss my road trip and adventure?
- 11:35Speaker 4: It is horror-ific. We're very horror-oriented most of the time
- 11:39Speaker 4: on this show.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Most of the things I do, whether intentional or not,
- 11:42Speaker 3: are horror-related.
- 11:44Speaker 4: You're just kind of creepy.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I am pretty creepy. And dead, apparently, according to Facebook.
- 11:47Speaker 4: According to Facebook. Which I was like, well, if you
- 11:50Speaker 4: read it on Facebook, it's true.
- 11:51Speaker 7: I know, right?
- 11:52Speaker 4: Sucks for you that you're dead.
- 11:54Speaker 3: What a surprise for me. I was like, holy shit,
- 11:55Speaker 3: I'm dead. Didn't even realize it. I loved it. I
- 11:59Speaker 3: just got off work. I was checking the traffic cameras.
- 12:01Speaker 4: I wonder if anybody famous died. Letter Cohen, me.
- 12:05Speaker 7: Hey, wait, me?
- 12:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I get on Facebook and it's like, was it
- 12:10Speaker 3: Memoriam or some shit like that?
- 12:12Speaker 4: You'll notice nobody put anything on your wall.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Nobody cared.
- 12:15Speaker 4: They were like, ugh, her, finally.
- 12:17Speaker 3: I would read it, but it's in the other room.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Hold on, I'm going to, because you're going to hear
- 12:22Speaker 3: the bullshit that came out.
- 12:28Speaker 4: She may be falling down right now. She probably fell
- 12:33Speaker 4: down already.
- 12:33Speaker 9: I did.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Where's my, my memoriam? Remembering Misty. Should I leave my,
- 12:41Speaker 3: people probably know my last name.
- 12:43Speaker 4: If you're not following us on Facebook, actually just follow
- 12:46Speaker 4: that Brian Meltdown person. That's all you need to.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Remembering Misty Bradley. We hope people who love Misty will
- 12:51Speaker 3: find comfort in the things others share to remember and
- 12:54Speaker 3: celebrate her life. I'm like, bullshit. Ain't nobody celebrating nothing.
- 12:58Speaker 4: I didn't leave any touching messages.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Nobody did.
- 13:00Speaker 4: I was like, I can't leave her stuff.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Nobody's going to want my shit.
- 13:06Speaker 4: I was thinking that lately. Not to take a real-world turn,
- 13:09Speaker 4: but I was telling you I went to a memorial
- 13:13Speaker 4: service recently. Those are always so cheerful. Well, this was
- 13:17Speaker 4: the first time I'd ever seen this, though. They chose
- 13:20Speaker 4: to take a whole bunch of... I mean, he was
- 13:22Speaker 4: a geek. He was my age, and we liked a
- 13:24Speaker 4: lot of the same crap over the years. So it's
- 13:26Speaker 4: like they took a lot of his stuff and put
- 13:29Speaker 4: it on the table. And at first I thought it
- 13:31Speaker 4: was just sort of like, okay, here's... Here's a representation of,
- 13:34Speaker 4: you know, a lot of things that he loved, kind
- 13:36Speaker 4: of thing. But then, like, they kept going, and if you,
- 13:39Speaker 4: just anything you want over there, just take it. And
- 13:40Speaker 4: I'm like, you're giving away your shit?
- 13:41Speaker 7: I'm like, wait a minute.
- 13:43Speaker 3: So did you score anything?
- 13:44Speaker 4: I don't know how I feel about this. It was
- 13:46Speaker 4: kind of creeping me out a little bit. Like, as
- 13:48Speaker 4: much as I like stuff.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I'd have been like, free shit!
- 13:50Speaker 4: You would have been, like, scraping your arm across the
- 13:53Speaker 4: table into a plastic tub and loading up and carrying
- 13:57Speaker 4: shit out to the car. We're like, but we haven't
- 13:58Speaker 4: even started the service yet.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Service, service.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Yeah, that was weird.
- 14:02Speaker 7: And then.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Not trying to make light of the situation.
- 14:05Speaker 7: No, no.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Anyway, I'm leaving out the specifics of it. There's a
- 14:09Speaker 4: handful of people that may have known this person, but no,
- 14:11Speaker 4: he was awesome, but that was the thing. It was like,
- 14:13Speaker 4: we liked all the same stuff. So then I started
- 14:16Speaker 4: playing that game of like, okay, I'm going to kick
- 14:18Speaker 4: off any day now, probably. So I'm just like, well, what?
- 14:22Speaker 4: What kind of crap would they put on the table
- 14:24Speaker 4: for me? Because I think about the amount of stuff
- 14:27Speaker 4: I had.
- 14:28Speaker 3: That NXS shirt makes it on the fucking table.
- 14:30Speaker 7: Oh, no.
- 14:31Speaker 4: I told you. I'm burying myself in that. Just so
- 14:34Speaker 4: that you can have it. I'm just wearing it around
- 14:37Speaker 4: whenever I think I'm going to die. I'm like, I
- 14:39Speaker 4: think today's the day. I'm going to cram myself into
- 14:42Speaker 4: this 100-year-old concert tee.
- 14:44Speaker 3: No, because then they'll have to cut it off on you.
- 14:46Speaker 4: They'll ruin the damn thing. It's not mint anymore. Nobody
- 14:49Speaker 4: will enjoy it. Oh, fuckers.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Vintage.
- 14:53Speaker 7: So, yeah.
- 14:54Speaker 3: I've had that problem myself, because not having any kids,
- 14:56Speaker 3: I'm like, who am I going to leave all my
- 14:57Speaker 3: shit to? Then I'm like, oh wait, my sister had
- 14:58Speaker 3: four kids. Somebody's getting something.
- 15:00Speaker 4: I thought the plan was, whichever kicks off first, the
- 15:02Speaker 4: other one gets all the crap. Because you keep trying
- 15:04Speaker 4: to claim all my stuff.
- 15:05Speaker 3: I know, but you won't fucking let me have it.
- 15:07Speaker 4: I just assume. Well, I think that's what it was.
- 15:10Speaker 4: I was like, as I sit there having that, I
- 15:12Speaker 4: was like.
- 15:12Speaker 3: There's something else I claim too. Hold on, let me think.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Don't you have Vincent Price's autograph?
- 15:16Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Dibs.
- 15:18Speaker 4: All right. As long as I'm not here to claim
- 15:21Speaker 4: it anymore. Well, that's the other thing. I think about that.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Okay, where is it at so that I know where
- 15:25Speaker 3: to go find it?
- 15:25Speaker 4: I'm not telling.
- 15:26Speaker 3: It's going to be a treasure hunt.
- 15:27Speaker 4: You don't even want to know what you're going to
- 15:29Speaker 4: come across along the way.
- 15:30Speaker 7: Oh, God.
- 15:33Speaker 4: I paid a lot to have that imported from Japan. Anyway,
- 15:36Speaker 4: but the weird thing was then I was like, yeah,
- 15:41Speaker 4: my stuff is so oddly specific to me and my
- 15:45Speaker 4: own geek taste that I'm like, who the hell else
- 15:48Speaker 4: is going to want anything on the table? It'll all
- 15:50Speaker 4: just sit on the table until Misty shows up, assuming
- 15:52Speaker 4: you bother to come. And I'm just like, at that point,
- 15:55Speaker 4: I'm just like, yeah, nobody's going to want anything I
- 15:57Speaker 4: have except Misty. Maybe Jay a few things if they're
- 16:00Speaker 4: old school toys and whatnot. But for the most part,
- 16:02Speaker 4: just probably you will be like, I want that and
- 16:05Speaker 4: that and that. Because we share a brain and we
- 16:07Speaker 4: have the same dumb things that we like. But everyone
- 16:10Speaker 4: else in the world would be like, what is this
- 16:12Speaker 4: pile of crap and why is it on this table?
- 16:15Speaker 4: So yeah, I thought that was... Interesting, and I spent
- 16:18Speaker 4: most of the time trying to decide that no one
- 16:21Speaker 4: would want anything on my table except for you.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Hell yeah. All the stuff.
- 16:26Speaker 4: And I've thought about that over the years.
- 16:27Speaker 3: And then boyfriend would be like, what the hell are
- 16:28Speaker 3: you going to do with all this stuff? And I'm like,
- 16:29Speaker 3: we're going to move your shit over.
- 16:30Speaker 4: We're going to add on to the back of the
- 16:33Speaker 4: house so we can put all of Brian's crap back there.
- 16:35Speaker 3: We are thinking about extending the back.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Just to put more crap. You've got a lot of crap.
- 16:39Speaker 7: No shit.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Because whenever we're out somewhere, I'm like, that's awesome.
- 16:42Speaker 7: I need it.
- 16:42Speaker 10: Werewolf.
- 16:43Speaker 3: I don't have anywhere to put it. I have to
- 16:44Speaker 3: be an adult and make a responsible decision to not
- 16:47Speaker 3: buy something because I can't put it anywhere.
- 16:49Speaker 4: You're not going to adult.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I know. It's so hard sometimes.
- 16:51Speaker 4: You're adulting wrong all the time.
- 16:53Speaker 3: I do. It's the worst. I had candy for breakfast
- 16:58Speaker 3: the other day.
- 16:58Speaker 4: That seems fine to me.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Actually, that's the definition of being an adult. You get
- 17:03Speaker 3: to have candy.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Having the freedom to make stupid decisions. I was trying
- 17:07Speaker 4: to think of that today because somebody I'm always around
- 17:10Speaker 4: is complaining because they're like, are an adult, and they're
- 17:13Speaker 4: always like, what am I gonna make for dinner? And
- 17:15Speaker 4: I have to make dinner, and I have to, and
- 17:17Speaker 4: I'm like, just don't? How about that? Because I'm perpetually
- 17:19Speaker 4: 12 years old, so I'm just like, pizza with pixie
- 17:24Speaker 4: sticks on it? I don't know, this is how I live.
- 17:26Speaker 4: There's no taco pizza. I would just have Count Chocula
- 17:29Speaker 4: for dinner every night if it were just up to me,
- 17:31Speaker 4: which most of my life it has been. This is
- 17:35Speaker 4: why I'm going to die soon, and you're gonna get
- 17:37Speaker 4: all my crap. No, Facebook didn't say you're dead. Well,
- 17:40Speaker 4: I don't know, I haven't looked at mine yet. posted
- 17:43Speaker 4: the new episode today so it probably just says that
- 17:45Speaker 4: you gotta.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Actually look at your page because it might not because
- 17:47Speaker 3: apparently it was showing everybody like people who go to
- 17:49Speaker 3: your page it was telling them that you died and
- 17:51Speaker 3: i'm like oh it's horrible maybe it's just.
- 17:54Speaker 4: A fake out to remember to appreciate the people that
- 17:58Speaker 4: you care about.
- 18:01Speaker 3: On facebook i heard that some virus that if you
- 18:03Speaker 3: actually clicked on like the.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Link they actually died oh we should start writing this
- 18:07Speaker 4: movie there's probably already one in japan Reboot the fear.com.
- 18:13Speaker 3: That movie was awful, and I love Stephen Dorff.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Dorff.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Fear.com.com. What a Dorff. That movie was a train wreck. No,
- 18:23Speaker 3: I didn't. There's no memoriam on yours. I keep looking
- 18:26Speaker 3: at your profile picture thinking, why does he have Bo
- 18:28Speaker 3: Duke on there?
- 18:31Speaker 4: Well, that's the yellow-haired Luke Skywalker. He was more Bo Dukey.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I had to look and make sure. I'm like, that's
- 18:36Speaker 3: not the same shirt that the Bo Duke action figure wears.
- 18:37Speaker 3: I'm like, why is Bo Duke? It doesn't make any sense.
- 18:40Speaker 4: I mean, we've had Bo Duke on the show. At
- 18:42Speaker 4: one point, I probably did have him as a profile picture.
- 18:45Speaker 3: I love Bo Duke.
- 18:48Speaker 4: So have you watched anything lately?
- 18:50Speaker 3: I have not watched shit. Actually, I've been trying to
- 18:53Speaker 3: get caught up on American Horror Story, the Roanoke edition.
- 18:59Speaker 4: That's not even a word.
- 19:01Speaker 3: You know Roanoke? Everybody knows Roanoke and Croatoan and all
- 19:03Speaker 3: that bullshit. I knew what Roanoke is.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Yeah, only because maybe you told me.
- 19:08Speaker 7: Probably.
- 19:09Speaker 4: I mean, it was one of those, then you told me,
- 19:10Speaker 4: oh yeah, I know what that is.
- 19:11Speaker 3: It's the whole historic, there was a village and it disappeared.
- 19:15Speaker 4: Dead peoples and whatnot.
- 19:16Speaker 3: No dead people. They never found the people. They probably had,
- 19:18Speaker 3: but there was this whole legend that the whole- Mysteriously.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Not dead because they're gone people.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Mysteriously not where they were supposed to be and the
- 19:22Speaker 3: word Croatoan carved into the tree or some shit like that.
- 19:26Speaker 3: anyways so the next the season the current i'm not
- 19:28Speaker 3: i'm still two episodes behind so i'm not currently caught
- 19:31Speaker 3: up and i'm just like it's just a clusterfuck of
- 19:33Speaker 3: like i mean most of the seasons of american horror
- 19:36Speaker 3: story are just a conglomeration of like oh we're not
- 19:39Speaker 3: gonna be fitting this season which works sometimes because asylum
- 19:43Speaker 3: i don't even care asylum is one of the best
- 19:45Speaker 3: seasons of anything asylum is awesome so is the one
- 19:52Speaker 3: that had crazy head emma roberts in it but not
- 19:53Speaker 3: freak show because that one was kind of lame uh
- 19:56Speaker 3: the one with the witches coven coven coven is awesome
- 20:00Speaker 3: coven is wonderful but uh anyone back Back to Asylum.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Asylum was just a clusterfuck. They had fucking aliens. They
- 20:08Speaker 3: had Nazi doctors. They had serial killers. They had Asylum.
- 20:14Speaker 4: It just seems like they're grasping at straws. Grasping at
- 20:18Speaker 4: horror straws.
- 20:18Speaker 3: But it was entertaining. You get to this one and
- 20:21Speaker 3: it's just like they got, it's like Blair Witch and
- 20:25Speaker 3: there's some cannibals. There's redneck cannibals who grow drugs out
- 20:31Speaker 3: in the woods.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Just a normal Tuesday night.
- 20:34Speaker 3: They're filming a... It's like watching one of those shows
- 20:38Speaker 3: where they're like.
- 20:40Speaker 3: I don't watch those shows. Like ghost shows where they're
- 20:42Speaker 3: talking about my haunted story or some shit like that.
- 20:45Speaker 3: This whole thing's been kind of hard to watch because
- 20:47Speaker 3: it has the characters telling their stories and then they
- 20:50Speaker 3: have the reenactors.
- 20:51Speaker 4: So it's bad reality television only it's not even reality television.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 20:54Speaker 4: It's being fake reality television which is already fake on
- 20:57Speaker 4: top of it. Oh my God. The universe is.
- 21:00Speaker 7: Going to implode.
- 21:00Speaker 3: That's before it crosses over into after... their story ends,
- 21:05Speaker 3: the person who produces the show decides to get everybody together,
- 21:09Speaker 3: the original people and the actors who played them back
- 21:13Speaker 3: in the house where all this takes place.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Can you guys hear my eye rolling? Probably. It was
- 21:20Speaker 4: pretty hardcore.
- 21:22Speaker 7: So, yeah.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Like I said, I'm still two episodes behind.
- 21:24Speaker 4: How much Lady Gaga is in this one? A little bit.
- 21:29Speaker 3: She was in the first part of the section where
- 21:31Speaker 3: she is the witch... In the woods or some shit.
- 21:35Speaker 3: And she's all dirty and grubby and all nasty.
- 21:36Speaker 4: I'm like, that's still one of her- So again, a
- 21:37Speaker 4: normal Tuesday night.
- 21:38Speaker 3: I was going to say one of her more tamer looks.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty much.
- 21:41Speaker 7: But yeah.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Again, half the cast has been like, I think there
- 21:45Speaker 3: are only a few that have been in every season.
- 21:47Speaker 4: Did you hear her new project? I heard it on
- 21:51Speaker 4: the way over here.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Which one was it?
- 21:54Speaker 4: Again, at least this, she's creepy. Horror stuff makes sense.
- 21:59Speaker 4: supposedly now she's remaking no she's remaking a star is
- 22:03Speaker 4: born with herself as the take your pick i guess
- 22:08Speaker 4: the last version was barbara streisand so it's like her
- 22:12Speaker 4: and bradley cooper i think i could.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Never get on the bradley cooper train i just don't
- 22:17Speaker 3: get it he's i like him i mean he seems
- 22:19Speaker 3: nice enough i just don't get it everybody's like oh
- 22:21Speaker 3: he's the dreamiest i'm like He's just a.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Dude, but he's a good actor, so he's been in
- 22:26Speaker 4: some cool stuff.
- 22:27Speaker 3: People are like, what are you thinking?
- 22:28Speaker 4: Yeah, you're weird. I know. I have that way with
- 22:31Speaker 4: a lot of people.
- 22:32Speaker 3: But, yeah, I'm just, I can't stop watching it now
- 22:36Speaker 3: because I feel like I've invested way too much time.
- 22:37Speaker 3: I've only got like three episodes to catch up on.
- 22:40Speaker 3: I think there's only 10 episodes in this season. I
- 22:42Speaker 3: think so far, I don't know if it's my least
- 22:44Speaker 3: favorite just because I hate Those type of shows, I
- 22:46Speaker 3: can't watch.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Yeah, see, that would totally make me not want to
- 22:50Speaker 4: watch it. I don't like those shows anyway.
- 22:53Speaker 3: I'm trying. Like I said, Asylum and Coven kind of
- 22:59Speaker 3: give it a pass for a while. Because those are
- 23:02Speaker 3: so good. But like I said, there are certain actors
- 23:04Speaker 3: that have been in every season. And they all play
- 23:05Speaker 3: different characters. But like, I think Evan Peters? Like, he's
- 23:09Speaker 3: been in every season. Sarah Paulson? Is that right?
- 23:14Speaker 4: You tell me. I've seen zero seasons.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't. I think there are several people that
- 23:18Speaker 3: have been in like every season. There's probably more whose
- 23:21Speaker 3: names I'm probably forgetting. Lily Rabe.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Jessica Lange bailed at some point.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Yeah, she wasn't in Hotel.
- 23:27Speaker 4: I've had enough of this show.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Yeah, Freak Show was her last season, I think, which
- 23:31Speaker 3: was still kind of lackluster for considering how fucking awesome
- 23:34Speaker 3: it should have been because it takes place in a
- 23:35Speaker 3: goddamn freak show. How do you borify fucking freak shows?
- 23:39Speaker 4: That's a sad, sorry, state of affairs.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Maybe because I was so excited after Coven and Asylum. Because,
- 23:46Speaker 3: I mean, Coven. You have to watch Coven because crazy
- 23:49Speaker 3: ass Emma Roberts. She's so ridiculously adorable and crazy. My God.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Well, then that's a nice lead in for what I've
- 23:57Speaker 4: seen lately.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Did you watch Nerve?
- 23:59Speaker 4: I watched Nerve. Have you watched Nerve yet?
- 24:01Speaker 3: I've not watched Nerve.
- 24:02Speaker 4: You should watch it. And, like, again, I'd heard pretty much.
- 24:05Speaker 3: I know she runs around in her underpants.
- 24:06Speaker 4: She does. That's in the trailer, so we're not spoiling anything.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Does she have fits? Does she be a bitch? Because
- 24:11Speaker 3: she's a good bitch.
- 24:12Speaker 4: No, she's not that character. Like, she's very opposite what
- 24:17Speaker 4: she usually ends up being cast kind of bitchy.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Because you never watched Scream Queens, have you?
- 24:21Speaker 4: I started that first episode or so and just got
- 24:24Speaker 4: sidetracked because all I do is edit. this show so
- 24:28Speaker 4: I barely get to finish a show but yeah she's
- 24:32Speaker 4: gotten a lot of bitchy roles lately but no this
- 24:34Speaker 4: is kind of the opposite she's like the good friend
- 24:37Speaker 4: and like she's the like very calm like boring friend
- 24:42Speaker 4: and her other friend's the party girl does she sing
- 24:44Speaker 4: at all no there is singing in a scene.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Cause you know she was on that one show right
- 24:50Speaker 3: no Oh, my God.
- 24:56Speaker 4: The voice?
- 24:57Speaker 3: No, like it was a show. She was a young girl.
- 24:59Speaker 4: American Dreams?
- 25:01Speaker 7: No.
- 25:02Speaker 4: Star Trek?
- 25:04Speaker 3: There was no singing in Star Trek except for Uhura.
- 25:07Speaker 4: Well, space singing.
- 25:10Speaker 3: I'm going to remember it as soon as I look
- 25:11Speaker 3: it up. I'm going to look at it and be like, oh, yeah,
- 25:14Speaker 3: that show. But she sang a lot because that's what
- 25:17Speaker 3: she did.
- 25:19Speaker 4: God damn it.
- 25:22Speaker 3: No, it was a TV show. It was a TV show.
- 25:24Speaker 4: It was just a cheesy reality show.
- 25:27Speaker 3: This wasn't a reality show. This was like a Disney show, maybe.
- 25:31Speaker 8: No.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Nickelodeon.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Unfabulous.
- 25:34Speaker 4: See, I wasn't watching Nickelodeon much back at that point.
- 25:38Speaker 4: I'm catching up, though. I've watched a lot of iCarly lately.
- 25:40Speaker 3: I have not watched iCarly in a long, long time.
- 25:46Speaker 4: And none for Victorious.
- 25:49Speaker 3: We did not wait in line to get her autograph.
- 25:51Speaker 4: No, no, we didn't. No surprise she was at the
- 25:54Speaker 4: car show.
- 25:55Speaker 3: But seriously, how long was that goddamn line?
- 25:57Speaker 4: That was a long damn line. I'll tell you that much.
- 26:00Speaker 3: That was too goddamn long for Victorious Chick.
- 26:02Speaker 4: And speaking of which, yeah, she's, it's one of those, like,
- 26:05Speaker 4: you watch this with shows and you're like, it's funny
- 26:08Speaker 4: how often, like, the name of the show, the person
- 26:12Speaker 4: who's the show is quote unquote centered around, is the
- 26:15Speaker 4: most boring person on the show. Because I watch that
- 26:17Speaker 4: and I'm like, why is she the star of this show?
- 26:20Speaker 4: Why is she even a name? Not that she wasn't,
- 26:22Speaker 4: she was pretty damn good in that Rocky, I have
- 26:24Speaker 4: to say. She's a good Janet. But aside from that,
- 26:26Speaker 4: I'm like, you watch her own show and I'm like,
- 26:29Speaker 4: she's the least interesting person I've ever seen, maybe, ever. Like,
- 26:33Speaker 4: she's so boring. And just like, she's surrounded by dumb
- 26:37Speaker 4: caricatures of people, but at least they're interesting.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Is she Ted Mosby level of boring?
- 26:41Speaker 4: Yeah, kind of. That's another one of those that I'm like,
- 26:48Speaker 4: I think it's time for a break. We'll be right
- 26:52Speaker 4: back after these messages.

- 28:25Speaker 3: Ah!
- 28:27Speaker 8: Academy Award-winning Joan Fontaine, star of some of the screen's
- 28:31Speaker 8: most memorable motion pictures, slants a new angle on the
- 28:34Speaker 8: story of the witches, the devil's own disciples.
- 28:38Speaker 4: Let me pass.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I've got to phone the police.
- 28:45Speaker 7: It's West Delset.
- 28:46Speaker 11: He's dead.
- 28:51Speaker 1: The witches, the devil's own.
- 28:54Speaker 8: They live in the dark, superstitious jungles of Africa, Who
- 29:00Speaker 8: are the witches?
- 29:03Speaker 12: I saw it. It's a what?
- 29:05Speaker 3: She stuck Linda's hand in the rollers and turned the handle.
- 29:08Speaker 10: What?
- 29:09Speaker 8: She put Linda's hand in the mangle. Starring Joan Fontaine
- 29:13Speaker 8: as the head teacher, target of the witches cunning in
- 29:16Speaker 8: two continents. This is the journalist with an inside knowledge
- 29:25Speaker 8: of witchcraft.
- 29:26Speaker 5: Witchcraft?
- 29:28Speaker 8: Somebody having a little dabble?
- 29:29Speaker 3: Yeah, so I think so.
- 29:31Speaker 8: It's a sex thing deep down, of course, mostly women
- 29:33Speaker 8: going for it. The rector without a church in a
- 29:37Speaker 8: village without hope.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Did Stefano tell you about me?
- 29:42Speaker 6: About my not being a priest?
- 29:43Speaker 8: The witches, the devil's own. Who are they? The witches know,
- 29:50Speaker 8: but witches don't talk.
- 29:52Speaker 1: They could be dressed in the.
- 29:53Speaker 8: Skin of a butcher, disguised in the innocent garb.
- 29:56Speaker 13: Of old Mrs.
- 29:57Speaker 8: Rake. Who are the witches? They hypnotize the innocent, bedevil
- 30:06Speaker 8: the unsuspecting.
- 30:59Speaker 3: We never talked about what we did. We talked about.
- 31:03Speaker 4: You got sidetracked on your own story.
- 31:04Speaker 3: I did. I do that a lot. Alright, we're back
- 31:07Speaker 3: to where we were.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Do you need to tell your story first?
- 31:12Speaker 3: For my birthday, what I've been wanting to do for
- 31:16Speaker 3: quite some time, I wanted to go to Salem. Because
- 31:19Speaker 3: all the witches and stuff.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Speaking of covens.
- 31:22Speaker 3: I know, right? I went there looking for Emma Roberts
- 31:25Speaker 3: and I didn't find her anywhere. Because I was going
- 31:27Speaker 3: to grab her up and put her in my pocket
- 31:29Speaker 3: and run!
- 31:30Speaker 4: That's probably a felony. But all right, go ahead.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Depends on what state you're in. But actually, it probably
- 31:36Speaker 3: doesn't matter what state you're in. It probably kind of
- 31:38Speaker 3: covers them all.
- 31:38Speaker 4: There's a special subclause about Emma Roberts. It's okay, but
- 31:42Speaker 4: only if it's Emma Roberts. Yeah. Because she's so adorable.
- 31:45Speaker 3: She is.
- 31:46Speaker 7: Oh, my.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Even when she's being a bitch, I'm just like, oh.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Like one of the episodes of Scream Queen where she's
- 31:51Speaker 3: blue because she's a smurf.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Not intentionally.
- 31:53Speaker 3: She drank some stuff and it made her blue. And
- 31:55Speaker 3: she has this little fit where she stomps her little feet.
- 31:57Speaker 7: I'm like, oh.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Anyways we decided to go to that was my birthday
- 32:03Speaker 3: that our big vacation of the year we went to
- 32:05Speaker 3: salem because i wanted to go see the witches and
- 32:08Speaker 3: i was excited but uh i don't we was like
- 32:11Speaker 3: we could fly out there i'm like i started crying
- 32:14Speaker 3: you have a lot.
- 32:15Speaker 4: Of issues some of which involve planes.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Have very severe issues when it comes even even thinking
- 32:21Speaker 3: about getting on a plane i was bawling because i'm
- 32:24Speaker 3: like I've.
- 32:25Speaker 7: Seen Final Destination.
- 32:26Speaker 3: I know what happens.
- 32:28Speaker 4: Just assume you're in Final Destination like two or three.
- 32:32Speaker 4: That's totally different types of deaths.
- 32:34Speaker 3: I know, but still, there's so many.
- 32:35Speaker 4: You know Devin Salar, who was on one of those
- 32:38Speaker 4: weird kid shows the other day. I forgot he was
- 32:40Speaker 4: been doing stuff that long. I was like, why does
- 32:43Speaker 4: that weird kid look familiar? Oh, no, it was Little Giants.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Was on cable, and I was like, I forgot this
- 32:50Speaker 4: movie existed. And then the cool quarterback-looking kid came out,
- 32:54Speaker 4: and I'm like, why does that kid look familiar? Oh, shit,
- 32:56Speaker 4: it's Devin Stone.
- 32:58Speaker 3: We almost weren't going to be able to make it.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Because we were like, we didn't have to. Because boyfriend
- 33:03Speaker 3: quit his job, and then he hated that one, so
- 33:06Speaker 3: he went back to his original job. But he'd already
- 33:08Speaker 3: cashed out all his vacations. So it's like, he had
- 33:10Speaker 3: no vacation time left. And I'm like, but I want
- 33:12Speaker 3: to go to Salem. And again, I cried because I'm
- 33:14Speaker 3: a spoiled little brat.
- 33:15Speaker 4: That seems to be the thing.
- 33:16Speaker 7: I know.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Right. But anyways, we went to Salem, but we made like,
- 33:22Speaker 3: first of all, I don't want to fly anyways. Cause
- 33:23Speaker 3: I'm going to miss stuff. I'm going to miss stuff.
- 33:25Speaker 4: You can't see roadside attractions from the air.
- 33:27Speaker 3: You could see it, but it's like way far away.
- 33:29Speaker 4: But, uh, got to squint real hard.
- 33:30Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, we're doing this. What? Like an hour
- 33:37Speaker 3: detour from where we're going is where Rod Sterling's buried.
- 33:41Speaker 3: I'm like, You can't even see the face that I'm making.
- 33:43Speaker 3: I'm so excited.
- 33:44Speaker 4: It's a fit of some sort.
- 33:45Speaker 3: It was.
- 33:45Speaker 4: She's having a fit.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Anyway, so yes, we went to where Rod Serling was buried.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Because that's like one of my favoritest things in the
- 33:51Speaker 3: world is like the Twilight Zone. You can't go wrong
- 33:55Speaker 3: with Rod Serling in the Twilight Zone.
- 33:56Speaker 4: You just can't.
- 33:57Speaker 3: So we stopped at Interlochen, Interlaken. I don't know what
- 34:02Speaker 3: it's called. It's this middle of fucking nowhere cemetery. I'm like, really, dude?
- 34:05Speaker 3: Out here in the middle of nowhere? Maybe he had
- 34:07Speaker 3: a house out there?
- 34:08Speaker 4: It's kind of like the Twilight Zone.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Well, it's in between lakes. That's why it's called interlaking, interlocking, whatever.
- 34:13Speaker 3: I'm saying it wrong. If you're there, you're going to
- 34:14Speaker 3: be pissed at me for saying the name of your
- 34:16Speaker 3: town wrong.
- 34:17Speaker 4: All you people who listen from the Twilight Zone.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Yes, exactly. But it's in between two lakes. And it's
- 34:21Speaker 3: like a small little cemetery. And it's like, okay.
- 34:27Speaker 7: There he is.
- 34:28Speaker 3: And it's like. I was like, nothing around here. I
- 34:30Speaker 3: would expect more, but you saw the picture of his headstone.
- 34:33Speaker 1: I did.
- 34:34Speaker 3: That's all it is. I mean, it's just like a headstone.
- 34:36Speaker 3: And I was like, I'm still blown away that his
- 34:38Speaker 3: name's Rodman.
- 34:39Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 34:40Speaker 3: I guess whenever I think Rod, I'm thinking Rodney or something.
- 34:43Speaker 3: You don't think Rodman.
- 34:44Speaker 4: I just thought he was Bertha's Rod.
- 34:45Speaker 3: I wouldn't doubt it. But it was cold and wet,
- 34:49Speaker 3: and so we didn't spend very much time there. But
- 34:52Speaker 3: then we went to Salem, because that was on the way.
- 34:54Speaker 3: We did Salem-y things. Then on my birthday, we drove
- 34:57Speaker 3: up the coast, which wasn't very spooky. Unless you count
- 35:00Speaker 3: Clam Shouter as spooky.
- 35:01Speaker 4: Clam Shouter.
- 35:02Speaker 3: Which I did have no part of, by the way.
- 35:05Speaker 3: If any of you all are surprised at that.
- 35:07Speaker 4: I figured you would think it's creepy more than spooky.
- 35:09Speaker 3: It was creepy. There was like, Actually, no boyfriend had
- 35:12Speaker 3: the seafood chowder. So there was even more things in there.
- 35:16Speaker 3: I think there was tentacles. There was a tactic. There
- 35:21Speaker 3: was like scallops and lobster and clams and some other
- 35:25Speaker 3: sea life.
- 35:25Speaker 4: Monkey brains. Chilled monkey brains. Possibly.
- 35:30Speaker 3: But then on the way back, because we did all
- 35:31Speaker 3: the coast on my birthday, and on the way back
- 35:32Speaker 3: we drove and we went through Binghamton, New York, which
- 35:36Speaker 3: is where Rod Serling grew up.
- 35:38Speaker 4: You're stalking Rod.
- 35:40Speaker 3: I am, very much.
- 35:41Speaker 4: You would be really creeped out if you weren't dating.
- 35:42Speaker 3: We'd probably do an episode about it. But it's where, like,
- 35:45Speaker 3: his hometown and, like, the house he grew up in,
- 35:48Speaker 3: I think for most of his childhood, I think they
- 35:50Speaker 3: moved at some point to an apartment, but we didn't
- 35:51Speaker 3: go seek out the apartment. But it's where, like.
- 35:54Speaker 4: He was knocked on some person's door. Hey, can we
- 35:56Speaker 4: come look around your apartment?
- 35:57Speaker 3: Well, he drove past the house where he grew up.
- 35:59Speaker 3: We didn't stop the car. It's not, like, a monument or, like,
- 36:01Speaker 3: a museum or anything. There was no, like, plaque.
- 36:03Speaker 4: Somebody living there at this point?
- 36:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 36:04Speaker 3: It's just a random person.
- 36:05Speaker 4: You're just hanging out in their backyard.
- 36:07Speaker 3: No, we just drove by. Took some stalker pictures.
- 36:08Speaker 7: Kept going. But, uh.
- 36:10Speaker 3: The school he went to was there. I guess the
- 36:15Speaker 3: department store that probably influenced the After Hours, which is
- 36:20Speaker 3: the one with the mannequins and the creepiness and all
- 36:22Speaker 3: that stuff.
- 36:24Speaker 4: Creepy and the twilights.
- 36:25Speaker 7: I know, right?
- 36:26Speaker 3: And the park where he played in as a child.
- 36:29Speaker 3: The episode Walking Distance is based off of this park.
- 36:32Speaker 3: They have the bandstand and the carousel. I don't think
- 36:36Speaker 3: it was actually filmed in the park.
- 36:38Speaker 4: He recreated it. To look just like that.
- 36:41Speaker 3: But it's off season, so I'm walking around because the
- 36:45Speaker 3: carousel's in a building with really dirty, grubby, gross windows.
- 36:49Speaker 3: So I'm trying to get pictures through these nasty-ass windows.
- 36:53Speaker 4: Do you not have your Windex on you? Clean up
- 36:56Speaker 4: the windows from both sides.
- 36:57Speaker 7: This was windows.
- 36:58Speaker 3: I couldn't get the inside.
- 37:00Speaker 4: Let me in so I can clean your windows.
- 37:01Speaker 3: So anyways, we're walking around. I'm trying my damnedest to
- 37:04Speaker 3: get pictures through these grubby-as-fuck windows. And as we're walking around,
- 37:08Speaker 3: here comes... the uh landskeeper maybe like um the guy
- 37:14Speaker 3: who like takes like he's cleaning stuff apparently his groundskeeper
- 37:17Speaker 3: willie yeah anyways because he was out there doing like
- 37:20Speaker 3: ground yards work or whatever and like his leaf blower
- 37:23Speaker 3: died at the same time we're walking around the building
- 37:26Speaker 3: so i was like he comes walking he's like come
- 37:28Speaker 3: on i'm like he's like come on come on in Mm-hmm.
- 37:34Speaker 3: I'm like, this guy didn't have to let us in there.
- 37:37Speaker 3: He's like, come on, take all the pictures you want.
- 37:39Speaker 4: That's where he took you in and you were murdered.
- 37:42Speaker 3: According to Facebook.
- 37:43Speaker 4: Ghost Misty.
- 37:45Speaker 3: But he was so nice. He was like, go ahead,
- 37:47Speaker 3: take all the pictures you want. Walk around. Yeah, he
- 37:50Speaker 3: started telling us all the stories about it.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Did you climb on the carousel?
- 37:53Speaker 3: I did.
- 37:53Speaker 4: Holy shit.
- 37:55Speaker 3: I asked, I was like, I'm like, we were walking
- 37:56Speaker 3: around and I'm like, can I sit on the edge
- 37:58Speaker 3: and get a picture? Like, he's like, climb on up there,
- 38:00Speaker 3: do whatever you want. And I was like, I'll turn
- 38:02Speaker 3: it on for you, but I can't.
- 38:03Speaker 4: And you dismantled it and it's in your backyard right now.
- 38:06Speaker 3: But he was saying like, like, I forget like 90%
- 38:08Speaker 3: of it's still original. Like from when, but it's been
- 38:11Speaker 3: like remodeled and repainted. Like all the, they put all
- 38:13Speaker 3: the panels on there, but like the horse is like
- 38:15Speaker 3: as a tail breaks or something that it's repaired. It's
- 38:17Speaker 3: all been, it's all been repainted, but like the original
- 38:20Speaker 3: parts are like, he said 90% still original, but like,
- 38:24Speaker 3: Like I said, like a leg brace to send it off.
- 38:26Speaker 3: They have to send it somewhere special to get it repaired.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Right. Repair house.
- 38:30Speaker 3: But I was like, he didn't have to let us
- 38:31Speaker 3: in there, you know, but he was super nice. And
- 38:34Speaker 3: like I said, he let us walk. I mean, we
- 38:35Speaker 3: walked around. He was telling us the history about when
- 38:37Speaker 3: they had like this big like anniversary thing or they
- 38:39Speaker 3: had it all lit up and all that stuff. And,
- 38:42Speaker 3: but apparently like Binghamton, New York is supposedly the carousel
- 38:46Speaker 3: capital of the world or something. They have like some
- 38:48Speaker 3: of the oldest carousels in the country. And, During their
- 38:53Speaker 3: on season, you can go ride the carousels for free.
- 38:56Speaker 3: All the carousels are free to ride. And I'm just like,
- 39:00Speaker 3: he didn't have to let us in there. That was
- 39:04Speaker 3: so nice. And if we had done anything differently that time,
- 39:07Speaker 3: we would have got there. If we did anything differently
- 39:08Speaker 3: that day, we wouldn't have got there right when his
- 39:11Speaker 3: machine broke.
- 39:13Speaker 4: You used your mind to break his machine.
- 39:17Speaker 3: It worked out perfectly all day because we went to
- 39:18Speaker 3: the school to get a picture in front of the school.
- 39:20Speaker 3: And it's like, I can't, I want to leave the
- 39:23Speaker 3: car here because there's the parking meter and I don't
- 39:24Speaker 3: pay the parking meter. I get out and still got
- 39:26Speaker 3: 40 minutes on it. I'm like, dude, we got 40 minutes.
- 39:28Speaker 7: On the meter.
- 39:29Speaker 3: And we get out. and there's a school. It's still,
- 39:31Speaker 3: there's kids coming out.
- 39:32Speaker 7: I'm like.
- 39:33Speaker 4: Was there a little demon head on top of the
- 39:35Speaker 4: parking meter and you plunked your money in and you
- 39:37Speaker 4: were stuck there for all eternity?
- 39:39Speaker 1: Ah.
- 39:40Speaker 3: But we get out of the car and there's kids,
- 39:42Speaker 3: all these kids milling around in front of the school.
- 39:43Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm not going to get a picture of
- 39:44Speaker 3: this school without somebody thinking I'm a fucking weirdo.
- 39:48Speaker 4: Well, you are, but not that kind of weirdo.
- 39:51Speaker 3: But anyways, so we cross the street and get over
- 39:53Speaker 3: in front of the school.
- 39:55Speaker 4: Nobody.
- 39:56Speaker 3: It was completely deserted.
- 39:57Speaker 4: Ghost town.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Because it was, I guess, maybe lunch. So they'd already
- 40:01Speaker 3: cleared out. There was nobody in front.
- 40:02Speaker 7: Of the school.
- 40:03Speaker 3: And I'm like.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Ghost kids.
- 40:05Speaker 3: I'm telling you, it was weird. And then we went
- 40:07Speaker 3: to there.
- 40:07Speaker 7: We went to.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Bosco's, which is the department store. Late hours, after hours.
- 40:13Speaker 3: I'm getting it all fucked up because I'm too excited
- 40:14Speaker 3: right now. But yeah, I got to stalk where Rod
- 40:19Speaker 3: Serling grew up and where he is now dead.
- 40:22Speaker 4: So, yay!
- 40:24Speaker 3: For vacation. Nothing else creepy happened.
- 40:26Speaker 4: I don't get vacations. So I saw no dead people.
- 40:31Speaker 3: I didn't actually see anybody dead. I saw some wax
- 40:36Speaker 3: figures at the wax museum in Salem, which always creeped
- 40:38Speaker 3: me out.
- 40:39Speaker 4: Wax figures are a little creepy.
- 40:41Speaker 3: I got a whole bunch of pennies. Because you know
- 40:43Speaker 3: me and pennies.
- 40:44Speaker 4: Not just regular pennies.
- 40:45Speaker 7: Squish pennies.
- 40:46Speaker 4: She's a squish penny weirdo.
- 40:47Speaker 3: I am a squish penny weirdo.
- 40:49Speaker 4: She has a binder of squish pennies.
- 40:50Speaker 3: I have a multitude of squish pennies. I got you
- 40:53Speaker 3: a penny. But it doesn't have food on it.
- 40:57Speaker 4: Some of mine don't have food. I have one that
- 40:59Speaker 4: has like a rhinoceros on it. You're not supposed to
- 41:03Speaker 4: eat rhinoceroses. Oh, no. Let's see what this is.
- 41:10Speaker 13: All right.
- 41:10Speaker 4: It's okay because it's got a dead guy on it.
- 41:14Speaker 7: I know.
- 41:14Speaker 4: As long as there's a skeleton on it, it makes
- 41:17Speaker 4: it okay. This is from the Salem Wax Museum.
- 41:21Speaker 3: I got you a penny.
- 41:22Speaker 4: That is awesome because there's a dead guy on it.
- 41:25Speaker 3: I don't know what he's holding. I don't know if
- 41:27Speaker 3: he's wearing a hat or he's got little things in
- 41:29Speaker 3: his hands. I can't really tell.
- 41:30Speaker 4: A sun?
- 41:32Speaker 3: I didn't really buy any like real souvenirs. I got
- 41:35Speaker 3: like a shit ton of pennies because that's what I do.
- 41:37Speaker 3: I go places and I buy pennies.
- 41:39Speaker 4: That is your thing. Weird penny hoarding.
- 41:41Speaker 3: I do. Should we trade and then I put the
- 41:44Speaker 3: microphone between me and boyfriend if he wants to say anything?
- 41:46Speaker 4: We're rounding this part out.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 41:48Speaker 4: We should probably... Watch a movie? Watch a movie. I
- 41:52Speaker 4: don't know. I didn't finish mine. Nerve is awesome, by
- 41:54Speaker 4: the way.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Oh, we can finish it.
- 41:55Speaker 4: It looks really good and... Emma Roberts is super cool
- 42:00Speaker 4: to round out your Emma Roberts discussion. So yeah, she's awesome.
- 42:04Speaker 4: And again, like it's one of those, I don't think
- 42:06Speaker 4: she gets enough credit as being a good actress, especially
- 42:09Speaker 4: as young as she still is. And her dad's hot.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Don't even care.
- 42:13Speaker 4: Remember how earlier we were like, you like dudes and
- 42:16Speaker 4: everybody else was like, what?
- 42:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 42:20Speaker 3: Anyway.
- 42:21Speaker 4: So, yeah. I was just surprised. I expected it to
- 42:25Speaker 4: just be sort of a cheesy movie that kind of
- 42:27Speaker 4: got thrown out there and not that many people saw it,
- 42:29Speaker 4: which is unfortunate because it's pretty well made. And there's
- 42:33Speaker 4: a really interesting story that it does take place in
- 42:37Speaker 4: a world that we're kind of at right now. There's
- 42:40Speaker 4: a weird dark internet subplot that's a little cheesy. But
- 42:43Speaker 4: aside from that, the online.
- 42:47Speaker 4: Civilization that goes on now like it's all kind of
- 42:50Speaker 4: where we live like it really is like everything every
- 42:53Speaker 4: step of the way is based around the fact that
- 42:56Speaker 4: everybody has a smartphone on them at all times and
- 42:58Speaker 4: at any given moment this stuff could be going on
- 43:02Speaker 4: and there's so many people again they're in New York
- 43:05Speaker 4: so I mean there's so many people involved that people
- 43:08Speaker 4: are always around you that are also involved in this
- 43:11Speaker 4: game and they're also shooting footage of you doing what
- 43:13Speaker 4: you're supposed to be doing or telling you what to
- 43:16Speaker 4: do on the next step and it's like there's just
- 43:18Speaker 4: so many people and we're all so interconnected with these
- 43:21Speaker 4: weird little gizmos that like again i don't think we've
- 43:24Speaker 4: stopped to think about some of the technology we have
- 43:27Speaker 4: thrust upon our society so this is one of those
- 43:30Speaker 4: like yeah this kind of thing it's a shade of
- 43:33Speaker 4: science fiction but just barely like it's just a nudge
- 43:37Speaker 4: into science fiction and it has.
- 43:39Speaker 3: The more tolerable the franco's I sat there the whole
- 43:42Speaker 3: time going, I don't know if that's really.
- 43:43Speaker 4: I had to Google afterwards and go, is he... I mean,
- 43:47Speaker 4: it's very unlikely that he's also an actor and doesn't
- 43:51Speaker 4: have the same bloodline.
- 43:52Speaker 3: Didn't he marry a hot chick? What's her name?
- 43:54Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 43:55Speaker 3: I thought he married the chick from Community. Maybe I'm
- 43:58Speaker 3: making that up, though.
- 44:00Speaker 4: The dark-haired chick? Yeah.
- 44:03Speaker 3: I could be totally making that up.
- 44:04Speaker 4: You might be.
- 44:04Speaker 3: I might.
- 44:05Speaker 4: I do that a lot. You make up a lot
- 44:06Speaker 4: of craziness.
- 44:06Speaker 7: I do.
- 44:08Speaker 3: But as long as I say it with authority and
- 44:09Speaker 3: I know what I'm talking about, people usually believe it.
- 44:11Speaker 3: People are suckers.
- 44:14Speaker 4: But not our listeners. Is she Bree?
- 44:19Speaker 3: Allison. Yeah.
- 44:20Speaker 4: I knew it was in there somewhere. It's like she's
- 44:23Speaker 4: either a cheese or a hot chip.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Or they break up. I don't know. They were married
- 44:26Speaker 3: and they were together and then they broke up. I
- 44:27Speaker 3: don't know.
- 44:29Speaker 7: Engaged?
- 44:30Speaker 3: Possibly. Putting my penny in my pocket right now.
- 44:34Speaker 4: Before it gets snatched up.
- 44:36Speaker 3: See, there's pictures of them together. Whether they're still together,
- 44:40Speaker 3: I'm not sure.
- 44:41Speaker 4: Yeah, she's a hot chick, and he's a weird Franco dude.
- 44:44Speaker 3: He's the more tolerable of the Francos.
- 44:47Speaker 4: The other one's all right in specific performances.
- 44:49Speaker 3: He's just so fucking weird.
- 44:50Speaker 4: I feel like in the real world, he's a weirdo. But,
- 44:52Speaker 4: you know, we only hang out every once in a while.
- 44:55Speaker 3: Do you now?
- 44:56Speaker 4: Every once in a while when I head to the
- 44:58Speaker 4: Franco household. We all have dinner or whatever it is.
- 45:03Speaker 4: Sit around and watch a movie.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Probably just throw out your Cheetos.
- 45:06Speaker 4: Probably, but that's just because he's high out of his
- 45:08Speaker 4: damn mind.
- 45:09Speaker 3: I bet he does. I bet he smells like Cheetos
- 45:11Speaker 3: all the time.
- 45:11Speaker 2: At all times.
- 45:12Speaker 3: He has orange fingers, I bet, too, just from eating
- 45:14Speaker 3: Cheetos all the time.
- 45:16Speaker 4: So, do we want to watch a movie?
- 45:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 45:20Speaker 3: Have we figured out which one?
- 45:21Speaker 4: What do you want to watch? Do you want to
- 45:23Speaker 4: watch your fancy new horror movie? It's not really new.
- 45:28Speaker 4: It's new to you, but I think the movie's been
- 45:30Speaker 4: around for a little while.
- 45:31Speaker 3: It seems pretty bad. Could be entertainingly bad.
- 45:35Speaker 4: Could be. And you do like toys.
- 45:38Speaker 3: I do. Let's watch it.
- 45:41Speaker 4: So we're going to go watch Demonic Toys.
- 45:44Speaker 7: Yeah, we are.
- 45:45Speaker 4: You should go watch it right now, too, and then
- 45:46Speaker 4: we'll be back in a minute.
- 45:47Speaker 3: And anybody who subscribes to Horror Block, they probably would
- 45:50Speaker 3: have got it, because that's where I got mine from,
- 45:51Speaker 3: because boyfriend's awesome, and he got me one for my birthday.
- 45:54Speaker 3: Because I'm always like, ooh, I love the idea of
- 45:56Speaker 3: a Horror Block, but I don't want to spend money
- 45:57Speaker 3: on things that I don't know what I'm getting, so
- 45:59Speaker 3: he got me one for my birthday. And I was excited.
- 46:02Speaker 4: Now you have horrific things thrust upon you on a
- 46:05Speaker 4: regular basis.
- 46:06Speaker 3: But did you see the awesome, the Ouija board money
- 46:09Speaker 3: clip was the best.
- 46:10Speaker 4: That's pretty damn cool.
- 46:12Speaker 3: I love it.
- 46:13Speaker 4: All right, let's go watch it.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Hell yeah.
- 46:28Speaker 1: When I was a kid, I did what I did.
- 46:31Speaker 4: Played all day.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Out of the way.
- 46:35Speaker 4: Now they all gone, left me numb. Broken toys that
- 46:39Speaker 4: make no noise.
- 46:41Speaker 7: Spent time at school, felt like a mule. Sometimes cool,
- 46:46Speaker 7: playing the fool.
- 46:47Speaker 4: Now I wanna look out, ain't gonna hang out.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Broken toys that make no noise.
- 46:55Speaker 10: Now they all gone, out of the way.
- 47:07Speaker 7: Now for me to join sound. Knock, knock.
- 47:15Speaker 5: Who's there?
- 47:16Speaker 4: Wanda.
- 47:17Speaker 8: Wanda who?
- 47:18Speaker 1: Wanda try some artificial ingredients in bars from Mars?
- 47:21Speaker 5: Never! Artificial is a nasty word at Mars. Yes, everything
- 47:30Speaker 5: is for real in bars from Mars. Snickers, for instance,
- 47:34Speaker 5: are a delectable blend of the world's finest pure milk chocolate...
- 47:38Speaker 5: fluffy whites of whole fresh eggs, plump fresh roasted peanuts,
- 47:44Speaker 5: and fresh grade A milk to make a luscious malted
- 47:47Speaker 5: milk and caramel treat studded with crunchy peanuts.
- 47:52Speaker 6: Yes, for real candy satisfaction, try Snickers. One taste tells
- 47:57Speaker 6: you why everything is for real in candy bars from Mars. Why,
- 48:02Speaker 6: the best candy on Earth comes from Mars.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Post Halloween. Still reveling in the candy.
- 48:11Speaker 4: Have you done any?
- 48:12Speaker 8: No.
- 48:13Speaker 4: Then how is this a thing?
- 48:15Speaker 3: I don't know. I was just going to ramble about candy.
- 48:17Speaker 4: How is that different than your everyday?
- 48:19Speaker 8: I know.
- 48:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I bought boyfriend a bag of candy, but it
- 48:22Speaker 3: had like Snickers and it had M & M' s and Skittles.
- 48:26Speaker 3: And fucking Snickers are my least favorite of all candy.
- 48:29Speaker 4: Blasphemy.
- 48:31Speaker 3: And I was like, whatever you do, get out the
- 48:33Speaker 3: Snickers first.
- 48:36Speaker 4: Dude, I will eat some Snickers.
- 48:38Speaker 3: Dude, I'm telling you. I had to go buy another
- 48:40Speaker 3: bag just of M & M' s. I was like, three
- 48:43Speaker 3: bags left of M & M' s. And I'm like, son
- 48:45Speaker 3: of a bitch. All that's left is fucking Snickers.
- 48:48Speaker 4: You're lucky.
- 48:50Speaker 3: And there was only like two things of Skittles. And
- 48:51Speaker 3: my boyfriend was like, girlfriend, did you eat all the Skittles?
- 48:53Speaker 3: And I'm like, uh, no. Boyfriend who is currently eating Skittles,
- 48:56Speaker 3: shut on up.
- 48:59Speaker 4: You kids and your candy fightings.
- 49:01Speaker 3: I had to go buy his own bag of candy.
- 49:03Speaker 9: Mr.
- 49:03Speaker 3: I don't want any candy, but I want to eat
- 49:04Speaker 3: your Skittles.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Um.
- 49:07Speaker 3: He likes the sweet tarts, like the bones and skulls,
- 49:10Speaker 3: so he can sit there and crush on the bones
- 49:12Speaker 3: of his enemies and stuff. It's pretty exciting.
- 49:13Speaker 4: Sweet tarts, and specifically bone shaped sweet tarts are pretty awesome.
- 49:18Speaker 3: I'm a big fan of sweet tarts. And they're okay.
- 49:20Speaker 3: I mean, but I'm not my favorite.
- 49:23Speaker 8: Whatever.
- 49:23Speaker 4: Candy. It's all candy. As long as you eat candy.
- 49:26Speaker 4: My brain still operates like I'm six.
- 49:28Speaker 3: I did buy the best clearance candy. I was probably
- 49:32Speaker 3: way more excited than I should have been because they
- 49:34Speaker 3: had those little dove chocolates.
- 49:38Speaker 4: They weren't heart shaped.
- 49:39Speaker 3: No, because they were listed as dove ghosts, and they
- 49:43Speaker 3: were not in the shape of ghosts at all.
- 49:46Speaker 4: Of all the ghosts that you've seen.
- 49:47Speaker 7: They were lumps.
- 49:50Speaker 4: Maybe ghosts are lumps. How many ghosts have you come
- 49:52Speaker 4: in contact with? All right, so I'm eating ghosts is
- 49:57Speaker 4: what you're telling me.
- 49:57Speaker 3: You're eating a very select few of those, because these
- 50:01Speaker 3: are my favorites. You can knock yourself out with some Snickers.
- 50:04Speaker 3: They got ghosts on the packaging.
- 50:06Speaker 4: It does look like a ghost. I like the ghost
- 50:07Speaker 4: on the packaging.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Oh.
- 50:09Speaker 4: I want to see what it looks like.
- 50:10Speaker 3: There's no ghost on the actual fucking candy.
- 50:13Speaker 4: This ghost looks like.
- 50:15Speaker 3: It's like a ghost plop.
- 50:21Speaker 4: An egg-ish thing. Not really even egg-shaped. Just sort of
- 50:26Speaker 4: dollop-o chocolate.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Those are my favorite, though, as far as... I mean,
- 50:30Speaker 3: aside from, like, Cadbury mini eggs, which you can only
- 50:31Speaker 3: get for, like, Easter and Christmas. But weren't the Dove
- 50:34Speaker 3: ghosts delicious? Although... Not at all ghost-like.
- 50:37Speaker 4: Not at all ghost-shaped, but I do like this fun
- 50:41Speaker 4: little ghost on the wrapper.
- 50:42Speaker 3: I know, I've been sitting there flattening them because I
- 50:43Speaker 3: have this weird obsession whenever my candy comes in, like
- 50:45Speaker 3: those little foil wrappers, to sit and smooth that, get
- 50:49Speaker 3: it on the table and smooth that.
- 50:51Speaker 4: And not tear it. Oh my god, what happens if
- 50:53Speaker 4: you tear it? And you've got to.
- 50:54Speaker 3: Start all over with a new piece of candy. It's
- 50:55Speaker 3: a never-ending fucking cycle. How much candy have I been
- 50:58Speaker 3: trying to get the perfect flattened foil?
- 51:01Speaker 4: It is a fun game that everyone can play. Get
- 51:03Speaker 4: yourself some foil candy. You're not doing it right. He
- 51:08Speaker 4: went with the Jack Butler method.
- 51:10Speaker 3: I have no idea what that means.
- 51:12Speaker 4: South to drop off.
- 51:14Speaker 3: Delicious candy.
- 51:17Speaker 11: Well, everybody, know that this is Movie Meltdown, and keep
- 51:22Speaker 11: listening for a long time to come. And this is
- 51:26Speaker 11: Richard Vann, in case you had forgotten.
- 51:33Speaker 2: It's time for Sofa Theater.
- 51:37Speaker 13: For 66 years, evil has been waiting, watching, wanting for
- 51:48Speaker 13: someone to play with its toys.
- 51:52Speaker 5: It's the.
- 51:55Speaker 9: Toys.
- 51:57Speaker 3: It's the toys.
- 52:00Speaker 5: Someone's inside the toys.
- 52:08Speaker 10: What do you want?
- 52:22Speaker 8: Before the night is through, I'll be born in a
- 52:24Speaker 8: human body, flesh and blood.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Demonic Toys.
- 52:36Speaker 13: Playtime has begun.
- 52:37Speaker 14: We're back and now powered by Snickers.
- 53:00Speaker 3: And the Ghosts.
- 53:02Speaker 4: Ghosts and Snickers.
- 53:04Speaker 3: Yes. If the ghosts of Halloween came.
- 53:09Speaker 4: All right. So we've just enjoyed the movie.
- 53:18Speaker 3: Did we now? Is that what happened?
- 53:21Speaker 8: Yes.
- 53:21Speaker 4: Yes, it is. In our way.
- 53:23Speaker 3: I gotta admit, it was not quite as bad as
- 53:28Speaker 3: I had anticipated.
- 53:30Speaker 4: I mean, we kind of MST3K' d it up, so that
- 53:32Speaker 4: made it a little more fun.
- 53:34Speaker 3: It was entertaining its badness. It wasn't, like, unwatchably bad.
- 53:39Speaker 3: It was entertainingly bad.
- 53:41Speaker 4: That's the motto of Full Moon Features. All right, so
- 53:46Speaker 4: this week's Sofa Theater feature is Demonic Toys. To get
- 53:50Speaker 4: the information, hey, you don't even need to hear me
- 53:52Speaker 4: say it.
- 53:53Speaker 12: Here's some information about Demonic Toys. Two gunrunners and a
- 53:57Speaker 12: pregnant policewoman are trapped in a warehouse with a bad
- 53:59Speaker 12: boy's toys.
- 54:01Speaker 9: What?
- 54:02Speaker 4: You don't need me to badly read the IMDb. That's
- 54:05Speaker 4: what Google's for.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Anyways, yes, the reason we came about this movie was
- 54:09Speaker 3: that it came in my boyfriend. As I mentioned earlier,
- 54:12Speaker 3: my boyfriend bought me a horror box, I guess, like
- 54:17Speaker 3: maybe the October edition. It had the Doug Bradley signed
- 54:21Speaker 3: photo in it and some other really awesome stuff. But
- 54:24Speaker 3: this movie was also in there. And I'm like, you know,
- 54:26Speaker 3: this movie looks kind of bad. We need to watch
- 54:27Speaker 3: this for the podcast.
- 54:29Speaker 4: I mean, I was already familiar with it and was
- 54:31Speaker 4: pretty sure back in the day I had watched it
- 54:33Speaker 4: probably on a VHS.
- 54:34Speaker 2: That I rented.
- 54:35Speaker 3: Did any of it seem familiar to you?
- 54:38Speaker 4: Like I said, they... All the same? I mean, it
- 54:41Speaker 4: was the full moon thing, and full moon started off
- 54:43Speaker 4: pretty good.
- 54:44Speaker 7: Like, I liked those.
- 54:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I haven't watched some of them in
- 54:48Speaker 4: a while, but I remember I liked subspecies back in
- 54:51Speaker 4: the day. I liked the transfer movies are ridiculous, but
- 54:56Speaker 4: they're really fun. And so, like, I remember watching those.
- 55:00Speaker 4: Puppet Masters were all right. I saw a few of those,
- 55:03Speaker 4: but they just got worse and worse as time went on.
- 55:07Speaker 4: And then they became like. Now, I mean, now comic
- 55:11Speaker 4: book movies are the biggest thing in the world and
- 55:12Speaker 4: they're tentpole releases. But to me, they started getting like
- 55:15Speaker 4: knockoff comic book titles because they even started crossing them over.
- 55:20Speaker 4: Because Tim Thomerson, after he was, well, actually while he
- 55:23Speaker 4: was still playing Trancer's Dude, Jack Death, he was also
- 55:27Speaker 4: in a series called Dollman. And then after they made
- 55:30Speaker 4: this fine feature, Demonic Toys, they did Dollman versus Demonic Toys.
- 55:34Speaker 4: So they started crossing over their comic book titles over.
- 55:37Speaker 4: Only they were just bad straight-to-video movies.
- 55:40Speaker 2: So, yes. Full moon.
- 55:43Speaker 4: To finish out the deal, let's see, what was the...
- 55:46Speaker 4: The year is 1992, although I said it looks super 80s.
- 55:50Speaker 4: And then we decided it sat on the shelf for
- 55:52Speaker 4: a couple of years.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Well, because if we watched the movie, because it said
- 55:55Speaker 3: it was 66 years later, but when was the flashback?
- 55:59Speaker 4: Like 25 or something.
- 56:02Speaker 3: Okay, math that up for me.
- 56:04Speaker 4: What involves me using the other part of this? The
- 56:07Speaker 4: director is Peter Mangoolian.
- 56:12Speaker 3: I saw that one. I'm like, Mangoolian. Spooky.
- 56:19Speaker 4: The writer in this I thought was funny.
- 56:22Speaker 3: Hold on. Somebody admitted to writing this?
- 56:24Speaker 4: Well, Charles Band admitted to doing all these damn things.
- 56:27Speaker 4: So his original idea, if you want to call any
- 56:29Speaker 4: of this an idea or original, was Charles Band. But
- 56:33Speaker 4: the screenplay is by David S.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Goyer.
- 56:36Speaker 4: Who these days is busy writing, oh, I don't know,
- 56:40Speaker 4: Man of Steel, Batman v Superman. As soon as it
- 56:44Speaker 4: came out, I was like, oh, I was like, I
- 56:46Speaker 4: know that guy because we were bitching about him when
- 56:48Speaker 4: we watched the damn Superman movie this year. So yeah,
- 56:51Speaker 4: I was like, yeah, I know his work.
- 56:53Speaker 3: So this is some of his better work than his work.
- 56:55Speaker 4: Yeah, basically. Compared to those couple, let's see, what all
- 56:59Speaker 4: has he written? We worked on the Constantine TV series.
- 57:03Speaker 3: I wish I watched maybe one episode, much like everybody
- 57:06Speaker 3: else in the entire fucking world.
- 57:07Speaker 4: I mean, he's story credit for Dark Knight Rises, but
- 57:10Speaker 4: everybody always bitches about the story. I mean, that's not
- 57:13Speaker 4: the part it's beloved for. Just for Bane impressions everywhere.
- 57:17Speaker 4: He does get credit for Dark Knight Story, I'll give
- 57:19Speaker 4: him that. But, again, that gets a little long in
- 57:22Speaker 4: that weird boat scenario scene.
- 57:25Speaker 9: What else?
- 57:25Speaker 4: Jumper, Blade, the TV series. Blade Trinity, Blade, so he
- 57:30Speaker 4: likes him some Blade.
- 57:32Speaker 3: So the least popular of the Blade movies.
- 57:34Speaker 4: He wrote one episode of Freaky Links.
- 57:36Speaker 3: I fucking love Freaky Links. I don't even give a
- 57:38Speaker 3: shit what anybody says. That show, back when Ethan Embry
- 57:41Speaker 3: was still hot, or at least not as weird looking
- 57:44Speaker 3: as he became later in life.
- 57:45Speaker 4: Hey, now he's just kind of buff, and he's playing
- 57:49Speaker 4: serious roles. It's very odd when I see him now.
- 57:52Speaker 3: He was in that one movie that I watched about
- 57:56Speaker 3: late phases.
- 57:56Speaker 7: Is that it?
- 57:57Speaker 3: Am I making that up? Late phases? Is that Werewolves?
- 58:00Speaker 1: Sure.
- 58:00Speaker 7: Werewolves.
- 58:01Speaker 3: It's about werewolves. He plays his son who takes his
- 58:03Speaker 3: dad to live in a retirement home, and his dad
- 58:06Speaker 3: is not happy with this scenario.
- 58:08Speaker 4: Just watch him in cheap thrills. That's all I got
- 58:11Speaker 4: to say.
- 58:11Speaker 3: I've not seen that one.
- 58:12Speaker 4: Okay, I can stop scrolling back. I just got to
- 58:16Speaker 4: this part right here.
- 58:17Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, no. Boyfriend should be glad he's asleep because
- 58:21Speaker 3: he would throw.
- 58:22Speaker 4: He's having nightmares right now because I just scrolled back
- 58:25Speaker 4: to the crow colon city of angels. Fuck that guy.
- 58:31Speaker 4: That movie was a train wreck. Obviously, yeah. He wrote
- 58:34Speaker 4: Dollman vs. Demonic Toys. So this is, yeah, his early arcade. Ooh,
- 58:38Speaker 4: I've watched Arcade. That's another Full Moon feature. Oh, he
- 58:42Speaker 4: wrote Kickboxer 2, colon, The Road Back.
- 58:45Speaker 7: Oh, hell.
- 58:45Speaker 4: And Death Warrant, another killer Van Damme movie. So if
- 58:50Speaker 4: that puts it in perspective, the fine screenplay actions we
- 58:55Speaker 4: got going on here. Wait, we forgot.
- 58:58Speaker 3: Uh-oh.
- 58:59Speaker 4: Spoiler alert! You better run out and watch Demonic Toys
- 59:03Speaker 4: because we're gonna ruin this movie. Oh wait, it's too
- 59:07Speaker 4: late already done ruined itself you have been warned all
- 59:12Speaker 4: right um well i like within the first few minutes
- 59:15Speaker 4: of watching this movie misty's confused i had.
- 59:18Speaker 3: No idea what was going on like what just what
- 59:21Speaker 3: is going on why what And it never got better.
- 59:26Speaker 3: It never got more clear.
- 59:28Speaker 4: It really kind of did.
- 59:29Speaker 3: I mean, it was fun. I'm not saying it was
- 59:31Speaker 3: a completely shitty movie.
- 59:32Speaker 4: Again, we made it fun because we were being ridiculous
- 59:35Speaker 4: the whole time.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Some of the lines, they were just so laughable, but
- 59:39Speaker 3: it was in a fun way.
- 59:40Speaker 4: David has to go here.
- 59:43Speaker 3: And it was ridiculous. The lines from the toys, I
- 59:46Speaker 3: can't remember any directly off the top of my head
- 59:48Speaker 3: because I was too busy laughing.
- 59:49Speaker 4: Oops-a-daisy.
- 59:50Speaker 3: Oops-a-daisy.
- 59:52Speaker 7: Hiya, fat fuck. I'm Baby Oopsie Daisy.
- 59:55Speaker 4: You lard-ass.
- 59:56Speaker 3: Will you be my special friend?
- 59:58Speaker 12: What the hell?
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: I can walk.
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: I can talk.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: I can even shit my pants.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: Can you shit your pants? Playtime.
- 1:00:14Speaker 12: Oopsie Daisy.
- 1:00:15Speaker 14: Pop goes the fucking weasel.
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: Daisy, Daisy.
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Hilarious.
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: What was the one that I thought was the best
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: one that I said I was going to start using?
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: Well, that was a real thing. I say that all
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: the time. What'd you say? Like, kill that noise or something.
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: Kill that noise. What'd you say?
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: I feel like it wasn't that, though, because I actually
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: probably said that at some point in a smart-ass manner.
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: Now you're just going to have to go re-watch the movie.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: No, I was going to look and see if there
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: was any quotes or something on the IMDB, but I
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: doubt there are because nobody put that much fucking.
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: Time into it. Peterson says, Mr. Wayne, is that a
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: cigarette in your mouth? And Mark Wayne says, no, it's
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: your dick. Again, that's the level of intelligent writing from Mr.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Goyer.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: That's a good one right there. I like that one.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: He really zinged him.
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: He did.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: Zing.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: Baby Oopsie Daisy says, you're fucking up my makeup.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that was pretty great right there, too.
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: Yeah, it was. No, okay.
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: They do have it quoted one of our favorite ones.
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: We all got excited when the kid goes, maybe I
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: should just save him the trouble and kill myself. And
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: you just hear the voice go, why don't you? We
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: were all like, yeah, good idea.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: Oh, shit.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: Can we do that right now?
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: I don't remember hearing this quote. Jeez, you're heavy, you
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: Moby fucking dick. I don't remember hearing that. Was that
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: like a limited edition?
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: It was a cut scene. So this also stars as
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: the cop and or pregnant woman. I've mentioned it before.
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: Hold on, hold on.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: We forgot our other quote that we liked. The world
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: is a toilet and everyone in it are assholes.
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: We did have a little.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: We had to kind of stop for a minute and discuss.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: I'm like, I don't think that's how toilets work. I
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: think you're using it wrong, dude. I hate to tell you,
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: but that's not how you're supposed to... Anyway, but yeah.
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: Speaking of assholes, Tracy Scoggins.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: Who is not related to Walton Goggins, apparently, at all.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: You had to Google that to make sure.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: I was confused, and apparently.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: They should be cousins, I'm pretty sure.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: I'm sure, yes.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: That's how it works. See, that's the thing. I was
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: never back to the thing we said earlier of like
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: some people liking somebody and not understanding why you don't
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: like them or vice versa. This is one of those
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: that like a lot of like geek, early phase geek people.
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: This is like late 80s, early 90s geek guys. thought
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: that she was hot, and I never got that.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: She looks like Maria Shriver.
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: She's just weird looking.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: Her eyes were freakishly large and not in an adorable,
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: endearing way.
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: She just had a weird attitude about herself, and she
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: seemed to think she was hot too, which is really annoying.
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: She had an entire career based around straight-to-videoed movies and
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: broke through, if I remember correctly, her big mainstream thing
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: was she was on Lois and Clark.
- 1:03:18Speaker 7: As a villain?
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: No, she worked in the office. She was the slutty
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: girl that was always after Clark or something like that.
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: I don't remember. I haven't watched Lois and Clark since
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: it was on.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Oh, shit.
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: And that wasn't much then either. But, yeah.
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: What about the guest star that I was super excited
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: because I need somebody.
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: Yeah, that just says a lot about you.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: And he was in it for like three seconds. You
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: blink and you fucking miss him.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: And Misty was like, wait, that guy.
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: I know that guy because I hate that guy's face.
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: I was like, wait.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: He was on Supernatural, and the way his mouth moves,
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: I hate it, because it's all weird and kind of pinchy,
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: like an asshole.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: He's one of those assholes in the toilet. Maybe, apparently.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: But yeah, he worked at the Chunky Chicken. Was that
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: what it was called?
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: I believe it was.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: The Chunky Chicken?
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: When you drive a big car with a chicken on it,
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: you work at the Chunky Chicken.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: But he was on Supernatural, so anybody out there who
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: watches Supernatural, he was the trickster.
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: I mean, it's been on 47 seasons. Eventually, everybody's been
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: on Supernatural.
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: Yeah, but nobody like.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Does anybody actually watch it anymore, aside from me?
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: I've met someone via the internets, and they're like the
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: biggest fan of it. And I was like, really? Like,
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: people still watch that show other than Misty? So, yeah,
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: I was surprised.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: I love it for what it once was. A long
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: time ago.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: A knockoff of other movies.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: I know, I love that. I love the standalone, you know,
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: Monster of the Week.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: That was the whole first season. It was like, what
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: can we rip off this week?
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: But it was Richard Spiel... I can't even... Richard Spiel... Spiegel.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: There's no L in there. Richard S-P-E-I-G-H-T and he's a
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: junior at that. How would you say that?
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: Spiegel.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: There's no L. He's the trickster from Supernatural and he
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: plays Andy in this one. I was excited about that.
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: He has half a scene.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: He does and he seems like a pissy little bitch.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: Which is also how I recognize him, because the trickster,
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: kind of a little bitch. When we had that other
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: old lady, I'm like, why do I know this lady from?
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: Then she's like, old lady at everything.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Everything.
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: She really was super familiar. I was like, yeah, I
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: have seen her in a million things.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure she's been in commercials, too, but I
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: can't remember which commercial, but it seems more likely that
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: I would recognize.
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: Her in a commercial.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: I wouldn't doubt it. Is she still fucking alive?
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: As we said, the.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: She was in Sister Act, too.
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: The look of it, it's super 80s. As the dude,
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: bad guy dude, rolls out of the car, and you're like,
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: is he wearing a trench coat with the sleeves rolled up?
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: I'm like, hell yeah, it's the 80s. He's contractually required
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: to wear that. And then, do you want to talk
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: about her pants?
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: Her guest britches? Her mom jeans? I was so surprised
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: they were not pleat front.
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: By the way.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: They kind of seemed like they should have been, really.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: They should have. They were tight enough.
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: They should have been pleat front.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: She seemed super pleaty. Yeah, there were some guest jeans.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: I can tell from the diamond logo on the ass,
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: because I was looking.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: You were. I wasn't.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: Just because it was there, and she wore it a lot.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: I don't get the Scoggins look.
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I wasn't a big fan. She creeped me out.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: I was trying to, you know. She was too Maria
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: Shriver for me, which was not a good look for anybody,
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: even Maria Shriver. Was she ever hot or was she
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: always just kind of like the crook paper?
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: She always just kind of looked like Maria Shriver.
- 1:06:33Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: But what's up with their leading actor, their stud?
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: Well, as I said during the movie, it's a full
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: moon movie. They had sort of a smaller pool of
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: actors to pull from and a smaller budget to offer
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: people money to be.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: In these shows.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: He was like, like I said, he was like, Kylo
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: McLaughlin and Joey Tribbiani had a baby that was missing
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: a few chromosomes, maybe.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: It's a little too accurate. It's a sad thing. Go Googling, people.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: And his eyes were like a little farther apart than human.
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: Yeah, they probably shouldn't have been like that. And even
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: funnier that he decided to go into acting.
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: It's not quite as fabulous as the... Who we thought
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: was going to be the original lead guy, I guess,
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: in the beginning. Before he met his ultimate demise. The
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: baby daddy. With his hair. Remember the hair?
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: Oh, that hair.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: Again, 80s.
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: I don't care when the movie was released. This thing
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: is so 80s.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: That hair had a contract all of its own.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: Contract for death.
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: I was thinking, I'm like... If anybody in the world
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: should never reproduce, it's these people.
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: These two.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: Even before she said it, I'm like, oh, God, please
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: don't let them ever have babies.
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: Please.
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: Oh, wait.
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: Fuck.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: She's pregnant.
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: Her creepy eyes and his creepy hair. And nobody wants
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: all that together in one baby. Oh, no.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Oh, God, no.
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: So this movie also just goes to prove, have you
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: ever seen a movie... where there's a security guard that's
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: doing a good job like aren't they always just like
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: he was sitting around paying attention.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: Drinking looking at porn watching tv watching not only tv
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: he went from movie because he was exactly because he
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: was watching puppet master was.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: A puppet master some puppet master.
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: Some variety there which is even worse because it was
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: on loop because they played the exact same scene like
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: two or three times i'm like could you not afford
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: the entire.
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: Movie in your movie they can't afford to lease it
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: out from themselves charles band is a jerk even.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: To himself no shit like i said this movie was
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: a train wreck but it was fun i kind of
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: accept that i'm the only one who managed to stay
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: awake through the entire thing.
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: I was doing myself a favor.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: Yeah it wasn't even that long what 82 minutes of this.
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: Movie As we started, I was like, no, this isn't
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: going to be long. Because if I remember, and once again,
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: like in the beginning, they seem like kind of normal movies.
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: But as time went on, I'm like, what is this,
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: like 64? minutes like it's barely over a tv show
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: and they were putting them out on straight to video
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: like it was a quote-unquote movie i'm like they got
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: shorter and shorter and less impressive on the uh special
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: effects and acting so what are.
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: You talking about this was prime real estate of the
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: acting and the special effects.
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: How many times did I go, acting?
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: How many times did I say, watch out, you're going
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: to catch somebody's hand on fire because they're inside the puppet.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: What else is on your list? You actually took notes.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: I was just writing some of my favorite things down,
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: like when they get into the big scuffle with the
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: two bad guys at the beginning, and he throws the
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: rifle at them.
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: Yeah, he throws it at them.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: And he throws it like the girliest girl I've ever seen.
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: Stupid rifle, take that.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: Oh, my God, it's so wussy.
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: What, dude? It wasn't even like, there wasn't even like
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: any distance. They were like less than a foot apart.
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: And he just kind of like.
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: And he didn't even like shove them. He just let
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: go six inches away from them.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: Yeah. Take that. I'm like, you'd have been better off
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: to hit him with it, because apparently you could take
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: somebody's head off.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: Which happens later.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: Just with hitting him with a rifle, like the butt
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: end of it. He just swings it, knocks the guy's
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: head clean off.
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: That happens sometimes.
- 1:10:15Speaker 7: Does it now?
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: Not when I do it.
- 1:10:18Speaker 7: Oh, wait.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: Never mind.
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: I didn't hear anything.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:10:24Speaker 7: Moving along.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: So the blood of our doofus other bad guy.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: That guy did not die fast enough.
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: How many times did I say, oh, hurry up and
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: die already?
- 1:10:36Speaker 7: Me too.
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: I'm like, is this guy still alive?
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: We'd go and do a whole other scene and we'd
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: come back. He'd still be crawling around.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: Did he ever actually die?
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: And then at some point, like, he was.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: Whatever happened to him?
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: Like, so fascinated with a toy, he stopped his dying
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: to get up and play with a toy.
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: Because, wait a second.
- 1:10:52Speaker 7: Oh, God.
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: Here it comes.
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: That's how he died. I remember now.
- 1:10:57Speaker 9: Mr.
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: Was frightened by this part.
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: I was because I legitimately have a fear of Jack
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: in the Boxes. Not that there's anything, like, inherently creepy.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: Not the fast food chain.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: Well, that too. Just by association. But there's something that
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: absolutely terrifies me about the anticipation of it. Like the slow...
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: There's something about... Because I hate being startled. It terrifies me.
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: The anticipation, the knowing that it's going to come. Because
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: I have a toy in there. You remember the Stitch
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: that I have where you push his teeth and if
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: you push the wrong one... It makes him bite you.
- 1:11:38Speaker 7: It is terrifying.
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: And I sit in there and I'll poke you with
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: like this absolute, oh my God, oh my God. I
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: gotta do it. Yeah, that scene. I was sitting there.
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: I was like, fear. You don't even know.
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: That was the most frightening thing in this movie. That
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: was the only frightening thing in this movie.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: They were turning. Actually, they weren't even turning. It was
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: ghostly turning its own crank. I have fun with that
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: right there. But yeah.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: So it's a reminiscence of boyfriend chasing me around Target.
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I like that he immediately, you were like, wait,
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: where did you find, it was Target. He called back
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: the immediate story and then was like, wait, at least
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: once in Target. Which makes me think several other times
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: in several other stores.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: Anytime we see one, like at a flea market or anything,
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: I know it's because I'll see it before he sees
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: it and I'll try to like, Distract him. I'd be like, hey,
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: look at this over here.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: Throwing your body in front of him. Nothing behind me.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Never.
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: No, no.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: And he'll see it and be like. I don't know
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: what it is. Like I said, it's the anticipation of
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: the knowing that it's going to do it. It's traumatizing.
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: We wouldn't have got this animated toy if dude wouldn't
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: have started bleeding on shit.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: All over the place. Bleeding all over and not fucking dying.
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: Somehow.
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: Blood.
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: Plus toys equals animated toys? I don't understand.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: Because the spirit guy, he lived in that warehouse.
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: You know, how spirits live in factories. And wait for
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: somebody to bleed on the floor.
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: Because each time a person died, it made him stronger.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: And he was using the toys and the stuff as
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: his little minions.
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: My question is... what factory? Did they just have loose
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: shit laying around everywhere?
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: Arcane factory?
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: Yeah, there's the problem. I'm like, anywhere I've ever been, worked,
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: come in contact with, seen on television, like, there's not
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: just piles of shit if it's a professional operation. I
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: don't like this one. uh you know there would be
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: security guard right yeah i don't know there'd be things
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: in like i don't know boxes or it's not like
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: there were some factory that was making well yeah empty
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: boxes there was a bunch of empty boxes stacked around
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: because they couldn't afford real stuff and then they would
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: fight and fall into them and then just big piles
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: of loose toys and toys that don't even go together
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: or made around the same era or none of it
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: made any sense it was just the most generic like
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: Here's an idea I came up with and scribbled on
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: a napkin. Let's make a movie out of it.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: Oh, what happened to your teddy bear?
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: How many times do we say that?
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: At least five.
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: That's an old school reference. If you're really an old
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: school listener, you'll know the what happened to your teddy
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: bear story. That episode's still out there because I actually
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: went back and listened to it not that long ago
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: just to hear her because she's adorable.
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: Did she actually say that on the episode?
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: I think it was just you and I recounting the story.
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: My favorite part was when the guy was losing his
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: shit and me and you at the same time. Just
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: smack him already.
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: Yeah, a little gender reversal here. That guy was freaking
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: the hell out. And of course, the badass cop that
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: Scoggins is, I'm like, she's going to smack him in
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: the face like the woman that he is. And she,
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: very old school, just like backhands him like, get your
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: shit together. We both yelled it at the same time.
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: As I said earlier, share a brain.
- 1:15:10Speaker 7: No shit.
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: This is how we operate.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: It was hilarious.
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: It's pretty sad. So now I think we need to
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: address Susie Exposition. Naked chick? Who pops out of the
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: wall and decides to explain shit to us.
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, that chick.
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: Suzy Exposition.
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: Homeless Janine Garofalo.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: That is an insult to Janine Garofalo, who is awesome.
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: This girl is no Janine Garofalo.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: I thought you meant the naked chick.
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: No, that was just random.
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: And creepy.
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: Random nakedness. But again, it's a movie in the not 80s,
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: quote unquote 80s. And you have to work naked girls'
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: boobs in there somewhere.
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: But it was creepy how they did it, because it
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: was a little girl, and then he blinks, and then
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: she's a full-grown woman, and then she gets naked. Like,
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: she was just a little girl, like, five seconds ago.
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: And then she turned into somebody else. I'm like, ooh, yeah,
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: that killed the mood right there. It's all weird. All right,
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: back to Susie Exposition.
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: Susie Exposition.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: Who pops out of the wall. Literally.
- 1:16:12Speaker 7: Literally.
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: Fucking pops out of the wall, sticks her head out
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: of a duct, and.
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: Is like, hey, guess what?
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: This place is taken over by Demonic Toys.
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: Did you guys see the name of this movie?
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: It's Demonic Toys. And then explains to us that there
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: are Demonic Toys, and they wander around by themselves, and
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: it's creeping her out, so she just decided to hide
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: in the ductwork. Thanks, Susie Exposition.
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: What's her name again? Did she actually have a name?
- 1:16:35Speaker 4: She probably did. I don't give a shit.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: He said it at some point, but I'm like, what?
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: Who cares? She didn't even live long enough to be
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: part of the movie, really. She was just there for
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: her dumb exposition and then to turn the thing into
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: Die Hard for 20 minutes as they crawl around the ductwork.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: Nobody in this movie had any survival instincts. If something's
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: gnawing at your face, don't just sit there and let
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: it gnaw on your face.
- 1:16:58Speaker 4: Not even survival skills that you've been trained with. Just
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: basic knee-jerk reaction of something jumps on your face and
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: you smack it off your face.
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: No, they just sit there and flail.
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: Even if you walk through a spider web, you flip
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: out and start getting it.
- 1:17:13Speaker 7: Off my face.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: No shit.
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: You've got a basic knee-jerk reaction as a human being
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: to get that shit off my face.
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: Ninja training right there.
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: So if a demonic toy decides to start biting on
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: your face that may or may not have a tentacle
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: back to the creepy jack cereal we had earlier.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: It had a tentacle with a baby.
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: Rattle on it what the fuck is all those things
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: because but because jack in the boxes usually have baby
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: rattles and tails and tentacles and a tail and pointy
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: teeth i don't know again it's just like five different
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: ideas that he had and threw together and sketched in
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: a notebook and went, here, make a puppet out of this.
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: And then they did.
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: You're assuming he planning whatever went into it.
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: He used a whole page of that notebook for these drawings.
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: Here's a robot with weird tiny arms that's not really
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: big enough, but it does have cool laser-y things or
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: photon torpedoes or something popped out of it.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: He's very shitty at aiming.
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: He's not a good aimer, but most things that shoot
- 1:18:10Speaker 4: in movies aren't good aimers.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: Stormtroopers.
- 1:18:15Speaker 7: Every bad guy ever.
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: Gas mask tricycle girls.
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: What the hell was that shit about? Those were the
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: most ineffective gas masks ever. There was no lenses in them.
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: You don't cut out the eye holes. That's not how
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: gas masks work right. But I guess if you're a
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: dead kid, it works just fine to be creepy.
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: What were they there for? What was their purpose? They
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: weren't like toys. They weren't real.
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: They were ghosts. They were just there to be images
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: that looked creepy.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: For what purpose?
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: And then they outed where they were hiding. Because then
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: they stopped and pointed at them in the duct work.
- 1:18:46Speaker 4: And then maybe the toys could find them. I don't know.
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: We were not really paying attention. by then.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: Yeah, you and Boyfriend were both asleep, I think.
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: I was trying to escape the movie. Instead, I woke up.
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: I would not suffer alone. And I had to watch
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: the dead demon baby. In our flashback scene, we get
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: the dead demon baby.
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: Which was the best part of the whole fucking movie.
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: Only made more ridiculous because I called it jokingly, and
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: then they actually did it in the movie.
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: Trick or treat.
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, the mom is giving birth inside this building.
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: She has not only a demon baby, but of course
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: it's a stillborn demon baby.
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: As they tend to be.
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: Don't you hate when that happens? Well- this little red
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: demon horned baby, they're like, oh, too bad, he's dead.
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: Better luck next time. Like, literally, the dialogue is not
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: really much better than that.
- 1:19:36Speaker 7: And, um.
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: So then, of course, it's October 31st when this birth
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: is taking place.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: As most demon births do.
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: And you're catching a baby one room away from where
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: the front door is where the trick-or-treaters are still coming by.
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: And when you're out of candy.
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: And so immediately the kids are like, trick-or-treat! And the
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: lady comes out and I'm like, oh yeah, I'm jokingly,
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: here's a dead demon baby, have fun! And no, the
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: dude actually walks out with it wrapped in a bag
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: and puts it in their trick-or-treat bag and sends them
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: on their merry way.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: Tells them to go plant it.
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: To go plant the seed so the demon baby can
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: grow into a giant demon.
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: Tree?
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: Demon trees. I don't know. That's a whole different movie.
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: No idea what happened.
- 1:20:17Speaker 7: It was so weird.
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: And then when they opened it up, they totally socked
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: that bitch.
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: And they, yeah, they immediately Ralphied it over their shoulders.
- 1:20:26Speaker 7: Yeah, no.
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: I guess they just left it there. I think we
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: got out of the flashback.
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: And that's where they built the.
- 1:20:34Speaker 7: Is that what happened? I don't know.
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: I was assuming that's where they were going. Wherever they
- 1:20:38Speaker 4: threw it, it must have been where they built the
- 1:20:39Speaker 4: warehouse because that kid was still hanging around there.
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: I blinked for a minute, so I must have missed
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: that part.
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: You were sleeping, too.
- 1:20:45Speaker 7: I was awake.
- 1:20:45Speaker 4: Trying to escape.
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: I was awake. I was just... I might have been
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: looking at pictures of Emma Roberts on my phone.
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: Well, you did have her in her brassiere, so you
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: can't fight that.
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: She had a sparkler.
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: And we decided she immediately was rushed to the hospital
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: after that photo was taken.
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: She's so damn cute.
- 1:20:59Speaker 4: She's very special.
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: There was a video that Boyfriend showed us in the.
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: Movie.
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: Which one?
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: The giant cat? The cat. This is what he was
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: doing instead of watching this dumb movie. Watching a giant
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: cat run around in the yard. I thought it was
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: a dog. It is a huge cat. Romping through the yard.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: Huge as in fat. I watched it on a loop
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: for like a minute. Maybe that's when something important happened
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: in the movie.
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: I don't think anything important happened in the middle of
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: this movie.
- 1:21:32Speaker 7: It might have, you don't know.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: I've been imprisoned in that corpse for 66 years, waiting
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: for something to set me free. Your friend's blood did
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: the trick. You see, in order for me to take
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: on a human form, I have to be born like
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: a human. At the moment of birth, I ride shotgun
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: down the old birth canal. And I'd come out instead, Judith.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: Or should I call you Mom?
- 1:21:57Speaker 7: What the hell are you talking about?
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: You know. Have you forgotten so soon?
- 1:22:05Speaker 12: What?
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: You're pregnant. 31 days, to be exact. That's why I
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: lured you here.
- 1:22:13Speaker 7: Oh, no.
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: So what else we have? I mean, I couldn't keep
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: track of all the little bits and pieces that they
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: were ripping off of other things. Just general... die hard
- 1:22:24Speaker 4: through the duct work and the baby Terminator as he
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: loses half of his face right around his eye and
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: I swear it's like straight up looks like the little
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: bad makeup job of Schwarzenegger only it's got green instead
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: of mechanics. Then we get to like the dude with
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: the shotgun. Our Kyle McGlockle and Joey Trobiani dude who
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: tries to.
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: How many times did they fucking fire those guns?
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: Well, towards the end there when he's like standing over
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: top of that guy on the floor, he shoots directly
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: like point blank with a shotgun in his face and
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: instead wings him in the shoulder. I'm like, okay, that
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: was a shotgun and you just missed his head from
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: a foot away. You are officially the worst shot ever.
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: And then that is when he then hit him with
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: the shotgun and knocked his head clean off.
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: Clean off halfway across the room.
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: One shot, mannequin head rolling across the floor.
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: That was awful.
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: If there was something that was kind of cool about this,
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: the only thing possibly.
- 1:23:22Speaker 8: Hold on, wait, what?
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: There was something cool about this? Again, was I watching
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: the cat video?
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: Stop motion toy soldier. The stop motion toy soldier was
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: pretty cool. Like they actually took the time. It's not
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: only very much because it's a lot of work to
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: make stop motion actually work and look decent. So he's
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: very quick in his movements and screen time.
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: You're going to work in Toy Soldier, right? You're going
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: to work in some Martika.
- 1:23:43Speaker 4: Oh, I love me some Martika. Dude, don't even. Is
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: it sad that, like, last week I was Googling Martika
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: today to see how she turned out? Still looks pretty
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: damn good, I've got to say. I might be friends
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: with her on Twitter now.
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: I heard that song in the gas station a couple
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: weeks ago.
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: Lucky. That song is awesome.
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: It is. Remember when Eminem sampled it? Good times.
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: He sampled a lot of crazy stuff.
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: He does.
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: He's a weird dude.
- 1:24:10Speaker 7: He is.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: Now I got that song in my head.
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: What have we learned from this movie?
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: Don't order delivery chicken.
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: Don't order chunky chicken. Don't work in a demonic toy
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: factory that doesn't know how to stock shelves properly and
- 1:24:33Speaker 4: just leaves their shit in piles laying around.
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: Don't get pregnant with guys with stupid hair.
- 1:24:37Speaker 4: Yeah, that's words to live by, people. Just across the board,
- 1:24:41Speaker 4: that's good advice for everyone.
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: What does name stupid do?
- 1:24:45Speaker 4: Well, I'll assume everybody's name in here was stupid. I mean,
- 1:24:48Speaker 4: the star was Scoggins, for God's sakes. Come on.
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: Not his real name, but I think the name of
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: the guy in the show was Mark Wayne. That's a
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: horrible name. I'm tired. Is there anything else we need
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: to figure out? What was the band? Or was it Joker?
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: Joker.
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: Original songs by Joker.
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: They had songs in this? I wasn't paying attention.
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: It was mostly just the dude in his choking the
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: chicken truck that was driving around and had the radio
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: blasting the whole time so that he couldn't hear when
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: the cop was breaking out windows and yelling at him
- 1:25:21Speaker 4: because he had his Joker cranked up. So... Do you
- 1:25:26Speaker 4: want me to find some Joker songs and go out
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: on that instead? I guess I can do that.
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: No. And how is the door locked when it's locked
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: from the inside?
- 1:25:34Speaker 4: Demon toys with the magical force.
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: So how can they open from the outside?
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: Because there's no magic on that side.
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: Well, there was no magic on the side where they
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: were at.
- 1:25:46Speaker 4: But I thought it was funny that then immediately Doofus
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: comes in there and then closes the door again.
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: I'm like, did we.
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: Not just go over the- Help me, we're trapped and
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: we can't get the door open.
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: Here, it's open.
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: Oh, wait, no, it's closed again.
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: And then he turns around and slams the door.
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: I'm like, you're such an idiot.
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: But then it wasn't stuck anymore.
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:26:02Speaker 4: That's why I'm like, it's why it must be magic
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: because the lock wasn't jammed or anything. It just decided
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: to work and then decided to not work and.
- 1:26:08Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: Magic toys and shit. I don't know.
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: The guy had the magical knife that could pick handcuffs.
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: Boyfriend was all about the non-logistics of that. I spent
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: the whole movie Boyfriend, what kind of gun is that?
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: And he would roll. Hey boyfriend, what's this? Is that possible?
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: No, it's not possible. You're just using him as the MacGyver.
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: Is this a thing that somebody could actually do?
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: Can you pick a handcuff lock with a knife?
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: A cheesy little pocket knife.
- 1:26:37Speaker 7: No, no.
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: I've watched Boyfriend do it. It is not possible with
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: a knife, I'm assuming.
- 1:26:42Speaker 4: He is the Houdini of this household.
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: He usually has paper clips.
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: So, yes. Demonic toys. It's a very special feature.
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: The best thing about this movie?
- 1:26:55Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: Wasn't very long.
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: True. I got to the end and I was just like,
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: are we going to hurry up and wrap this thing up?
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: Because I feel like it's winding down, right? I mean,
- 1:27:04Speaker 4: the demon... Baby is now a demon dude that shows
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: up and is like, I just got back from Halloween
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: Express and I glued these horns on and I need
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: to finish up this movie.
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: Yeah, the whole stop motion toy soldier, that whole thing
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: was weird.
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: That's the best part. What are you talking about? Just
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: when he turned into a real boy. Again, we needed
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: Susie Exposition and she was dead. Because this toy soldier-dressed boy,
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: real boy, not the stop-motion one, he then springs to
- 1:27:38Speaker 4: life in the real world. And he's just walking around,
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: and they didn't bother to set that up. So you're
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: just like, what the hell is this? Why is there
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: now a magical life-size boy toy soldier?
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: Because both of the boys, the demon boy and the
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: toy soldier boy, they're in a little push fight.
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: Demon boy was at least kind of a fun idea.
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: I feel like if done better in a better executed movie,
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: like the little creepy kid talking with the grown-up... like
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: demon voice with his magical powers. Could have been cool.
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: He wasn't horrible. The kid was probably the best.
- 1:28:07Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:28:07Speaker 3: He was the best actor.
- 1:28:09Speaker 4: And I like, you called it out and I'm like, no,
- 1:28:11Speaker 4: it actually kept happening. And I liked it as it
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: went on because he had magic powers and like shit kept,
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: like he would turn green and turn into other characters
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: and whatever. But the thing that I thought was funny
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: that you called him out for was he kept changing
- 1:28:22Speaker 4: clothes and like, it wasn't like by accident, like every
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: time they would come back to him or like every
- 1:28:28Speaker 4: scene he would reappear, he would be wearing something slightly different.
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: Or in the same scene, even.
- 1:28:33Speaker 4: Yeah, sometimes they would just cut back after a couple
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: of bits of dialogue and come back to him, and
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: he's in a totally different outfit.
- 1:28:38Speaker 3: Because when they were in the dollhouse, like, he was in, like,
- 1:28:40Speaker 3: that little, like, with the collar.
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: He was in, like, at one point he had, like,
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: a weird vest on. That was later. Like a sleeveless
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: jacket vest.
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: No, he had, like, one of those, like, Kind of
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: like the blue boy outfit.
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: And then he did the whole thing where he changed
- 1:28:53Speaker 3: into like the zombie kind of thing and then her.
- 1:28:56Speaker 12: At one.
- 1:28:56Speaker 4: Point he had like a turtleneck on. Like it was
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: just the weirdest array of stuff.
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: And then the painted denim vest.
- 1:29:05Speaker 4: Yeah. Sleeveless vest action.
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: Yeah. yeah yeah every time you see any of his
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: different clothes i'm just like i kind of like that
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: on purpose or they just like keeping track.
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: Yeah either way that was that was interesting it was
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: more than anything else going on in those scenes it
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: was just like i like that every time we come
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: back to this little demon child he's wearing a different
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: outfit it's just fun i.
- 1:29:25Speaker 3: Said he was the best he was the best actor
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: in the movie yeah pretty much you never even heard
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: his voice early.
- 1:29:29Speaker 4: But yeah they if you're gonna just have a a
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: life-sized toy soldier child appear, at least set up some
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: reasoning so you're not like, what the hell was that?
- 1:29:38Speaker 3: And of course he didn't fully explain it.
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: He just fully explains it after the fact when the
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: action is over, if you want to call it that.
- 1:29:44Speaker 4: And yeah, well now, since Susie's dead, I have to
- 1:29:47Speaker 4: explain the whole thing that just happened because they didn't
- 1:29:50Speaker 4: write it into the screenplay at in a correct and
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: well-worded form.
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: What exactly killed her? I mean, she got stabbed in
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: the eye with a.
- 1:29:58Speaker 4: Tiny little knife.
- 1:29:59Speaker 3: I mean, was that what killed her? The bites in
- 1:30:01Speaker 3: the neck?
- 1:30:02Speaker 4: I thought he stabbed her in the neck, too, or
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: something like that. Because she got bit, and then he
- 1:30:05Speaker 4: stabbed her in the eye, and then I thought he
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: stabbed her in the neck, and I don't know.
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: This is so convoluted.
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: But again, it makes no sense. Like, why introduce that
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: character and not even have, like, it's not even like
- 1:30:15Speaker 4: she was.
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: Because we had to get caught up.
- 1:30:16Speaker 4: It was just for her to explain. That's why she
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: earned her name. But I'm like, she didn't ever, like,
- 1:30:22Speaker 4: get worked into the plot enough for it to be like, oh,
- 1:30:25Speaker 4: I can't believe we lost her. Like, she was there
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: for ten minutes, maybe, and then they killed her. So
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: I'm like, it wasn't even enough of an arc to
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: make it worthwhile to kill her off. It was no
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: payoff to it. It was just, like, another random thing
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: that happened in this movie.
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: Somebody had to lead him through the vents.
- 1:30:39Speaker 4: John McClane was already on.
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: Crazy cop lady wasn't gonna do it. She was so
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: damn worried about that guy, she wouldn't just fucking kill.
- 1:30:46Speaker 4: She was busy in the other room, shatting her sleeve off.
- 1:30:50Speaker 4: She spent half the movie with her sleeve going off,
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: and I kept calling her Shatner. She got in a
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: fight and tore her shirt. Don't you hate when that happens?
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: Shatner does it. He loves it.
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: She shattered her shirt.
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: I was watching Star Trek, and you got here.
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: Yep, McCoy did not look good.
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: He was not looking in his best shape.
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: I blame Joan Collins.
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: Most people do.
- 1:31:09Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: Isn't she dead?
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: The hell you saying?
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: Or is it Jackie Collins?
- 1:31:13Speaker 4: I think Jackie is.
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:31:15Speaker 4: Joan, she's fine. Don't you worry.
- 1:31:18Speaker 3: I'm not too worried. I'm not too concerned. Oopsies if
- 1:31:21Speaker 3: she's not.
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: Oopsie Daisy.
- 1:31:24Speaker 3: Oopsie Daisy.
- 1:31:26Speaker 12: According to Wikipedia, Dame Joan Henrietta Collins, DBE, is an
- 1:31:30Speaker 12: English actress, author, and columnist.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: Good to know.
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: But is she dead? I think she's still alive.
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: Age 83. Not dead.
- 1:31:45Speaker 3: Good to know.
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: Jackie Collins, deceased.
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: Ooh, she's got a website.
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: I've got her autograph.
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: I'm not surprised. Alright, so do you think we've fully
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: addressed the goings on?
- 1:32:02Speaker 3: I think we've talked longer about this movie than it
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: actually ran.
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: Not the first time that's happened either. Alright, anything else
- 1:32:11Speaker 4: to pass along this week before I finish out these knickers?
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: I miss rotary phones.
- 1:32:21Speaker 4: There were some fancy rotary phones in this and we
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: were busy talking about that instead of watching the movie
- 1:32:27Speaker 4: because it was kind of boring.
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: I thought we've got a rotary phone in our hallway.
- 1:32:31Speaker 3: It's not connected. We don't have a landline in this house.
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: It's just there. That's the way the one is at
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: my dad's house too. It's just hanging in the basement
- 1:32:39Speaker 4: because it's been in there since the 1900s.
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: But every once in a while I'll walk by it.
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: I'll just pick it up and just hear the sound.
- 1:32:47Speaker 4: My niece is obsessed with it now. She likes At
- 1:32:50Speaker 4: some point, I think I showed her what it was.
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: I was like, come here, look at this. And she was, again,
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: confused and trying to push buttons that weren't buttons. And
- 1:32:57Speaker 4: it was just, what the hell is this? So now, like,
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: every time she's over there, she's like, she either wants
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: me to pick her up and, like, let her do it,
- 1:33:04Speaker 4: or she'll drag a chair over there and just start
- 1:33:06Speaker 4: messing with it.
- 1:33:07Speaker 7: She'll need your help.
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: Yep, the wonders of ancient technology.
- 1:33:15Speaker 3: There is something. I like the sound.
- 1:33:17Speaker 4: It's very satisfying. It's a very solid physical thing when
- 1:33:22Speaker 4: you're dialing. You can dial all angry.
- 1:33:25Speaker 3: You can't hang up on somebody like you did back
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: in the day. When you were mad and you hung up,
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: people knew how mad you were. Now you push a button.
- 1:33:36Speaker 3: They can't feel. They can't hear.
- 1:33:39Speaker 4: You can't hear the anger in the beep.
- 1:33:41Speaker 3: You don't even get a beep. There's no sound anymore.
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: Unless they throw the phone and then that's more.
- 1:33:47Speaker 4: Then you just broke your own phone.
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: No, no shit. Where at least when you had the
- 1:33:50Speaker 3: rotary phone or any kind of landline or whatever kind
- 1:33:53Speaker 3: of phone that actually existed in the real world where
- 1:33:55Speaker 3: you hang it up, you could express your anger and
- 1:33:58Speaker 3: people knew because you'd slam it down and they'd be like, oh,
- 1:34:01Speaker 3: they're mad.
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: They're pissed off.
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: You don't get that same kind of satisfaction anymore. It's
- 1:34:07Speaker 3: a sad, sad state we live in.
- 1:34:08Speaker 4: On that note, I think we're going to hang up
- 1:34:11Speaker 4: this episode.
- 1:34:12Speaker 7: Okay, dope.
- 1:34:14Speaker 4: Thank you for joining us for this fabulous trip through.
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: Demonic toys.
- 1:34:19Speaker 4: Our lives and demonic toys.
- 1:34:21Speaker 3: And all my adventures. Seems like I had more stories
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: to tell, but I forget what they were.
- 1:34:27Speaker 4: I'm sure we'll do this again somewhere in the future. Otherwise,
- 1:34:30Speaker 4: that about does it. We will return next time. Same
- 1:34:32Speaker 4: geek feed. Thanks for listening.
- 1:34:42Speaker 9: Smiling girls and rosy boys, come and buy my little
- 1:34:46Speaker 9: toys Monkeys made of gingerbread and sugar horses painted red
- 1:34:54Speaker 9: Rich men's children running past, their fathers dressed in hose
- 1:34:58Speaker 9: Golden hair and mud of many acres on their shoes
- 1:35:03Speaker 9: Gazing eyes and running wild, past the stocks and over
- 1:35:06Speaker 9: styles Kiss the window, merry child, but come and buy
- 1:35:10Speaker 9: my toys You've watched your father plough the fields with
- 1:35:17Speaker 9: a ram's horn, sowed it wide with peppercorn and furrowed
- 1:35:22Speaker 9: with a bramblethorn. Reaped it with a sharpened scythe, threshed
- 1:35:29Speaker 9: it with a quill. The miller told your father that
- 1:35:32Speaker 9: he'd work it with the greatest will. Now your watching's over,
- 1:35:37Speaker 9: you must play with girls and boys. Leave the parsley
- 1:35:41Speaker 9: on the stalls, come and buy my toys. You shall
- 1:35:49Speaker 9: own a cambric shirt You shall work your father's land
- 1:35:56Speaker 9: But now you shall play in the market square Till
- 1:36:02Speaker 9: you be a man Smiling girls and rosy boys, come
- 1:36:10Speaker 9: and buy my little toys. Monkeys made of gingerbread and
- 1:36:15Speaker 9: sugar horses painted red.
- 1:36:39Speaker 7: I have no idea what that even means.
- 1:36:41Speaker 4: One day, when you watch a movie.
- 1:36:44Speaker 3: When's that going to happen?
- 1:36:45Speaker 4: I don't watch movies. Me neither.
- 1:36:47Speaker 3: That ghost made me talk funny.
- 1:36:50Speaker 4: That's what we're blaming.
- 1:36:52Speaker 3: It's stuck in the top of my mouth.
- 1:36:54Speaker 4: We're blaming the ghost.
- 1:36:55Speaker 7: I got goose in my mouth.
- 1:36:57Speaker 4: Sounds like a personal problem.
