- 0:00Speaker 1: I put with Alexi Napola and Marisa Patton an iHeartRadio podcast.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hi, Amiga, I haven't seen you in days. I know
- 0:11Speaker 2: I miss you too. Baby.
- 0:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna snuggle with you for the next two days.
- 0:15Speaker 2: I know what a treat. How is your weekend?
- 0:19Speaker 1: My weekend was good. You know, Mother's Day is always hard,
- 0:22Speaker 1: as it is for you too. You know, yes, it's
- 0:25Speaker 1: a hard day. We don't have our moms, but you
- 0:27Speaker 1: also have a good day because you have children.
- 0:29Speaker 2: So I have you mons.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Yes, so I get to be celebrated, even though I
- 0:33Speaker 3: says is every day of the year, but I do
- 0:37Speaker 3: understand it's the day that they recognize us and they
- 0:40Speaker 3: pat for us, and we get all this extra attention
- 0:43Speaker 3: that we deserve.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I got a little love from my step sons. It
- 0:48Speaker 2: was very sweet. Oh that's very sweet. You have really loved.
- 0:51Speaker 1: They're getting they're getting a little attached to me.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Huh, I like it, mousdam.
- 0:56Speaker 3: That's always a really nice feeling to be loved by
- 1:00Speaker 3: your two step children.
- 1:01Speaker 2: So, yes, amazing, it's really good. We speaking of sons exactly.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Speaking of sons, It's no secret that I'm this protective
- 1:12Speaker 2: mama bear and I like you. I'm so proud of
- 1:16Speaker 2: being that kind of a mom.
- 1:17Speaker 3: You know, I have a really good relationship with both
- 1:18Speaker 3: of my sons and it's something that I will always have.
- 1:24Speaker 3: And as a mom, you know, I am concerned about,
- 1:28Speaker 3: you know, the kind of women that my children date,
- 1:31Speaker 3: even though they.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Are of course, and you know what, Mama is always
- 1:35Speaker 2: no best.
- 1:37Speaker 1: We see things coming miles before they even see it, right.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Unfortunately, our moms did, right, we just never them.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Yeah, my mom, I know, she's like, you know, in
- 1:48Speaker 3: heaven and she's thinking, you know, you know.
- 1:54Speaker 2: So now I'm doing.
- 1:55Speaker 3: The same thing with my sons, and I want them
- 1:56Speaker 3: to listen to me because you know, I know what
- 1:59Speaker 3: I'm talking about. And yes, So the question is how
- 2:03Speaker 3: do I remain calm? Right, how do I remain calm
- 2:06Speaker 3: when I see Peter dating people that maybe I don't
- 2:09Speaker 3: like or they're not exactly marriage material.
- 2:12Speaker 2: So the answer is I don't remain calm. I mean,
- 2:15Speaker 2: who's got home? Right, my friend? You're seeing me in action? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 2:21Speaker 2: that's what I've been doing.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I'm working on that because you know, I mean, he
- 2:24Speaker 3: is like in his thirties already, and you know, I
- 2:26Speaker 3: just want them to.
- 2:27Speaker 2: It's kind of like as a.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Mom, you want to protect them. You don't want them
- 2:31Speaker 3: to make the same mistakes you made.
- 2:32Speaker 2: You don't want them to hurt, right.
- 2:34Speaker 3: And you know in Ma Canala, like you said, you know,
- 2:36Speaker 3: it's kind of like been there, done that, and you
- 2:38Speaker 3: already like see it coming. And I mean, all you
- 2:41Speaker 3: can really do is pray for the best and give
- 2:43Speaker 3: them the best advice that you can. Always know that
- 2:46Speaker 3: you're here for them, that you're the friend, and you know,
- 2:49Speaker 3: no matter what challenges they face and the relationship, that
- 2:53Speaker 3: you're going to be here and listen to them and
- 2:55Speaker 3: help them. And that's kind of like what I'm doing,
- 2:58Speaker 3: you know, and kind of like just letting him being
- 3:00Speaker 3: and figure it out on his own right and just
- 3:02Speaker 3: those lessons himself.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the best way because then he won't repeat,
- 3:07Speaker 1: you know, you know, we have to learn from every mistake.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I know I'm going to repeat.
- 3:12Speaker 3: He's so good and I'm like one, like any woman,
- 3:15Speaker 3: like taking advantage of him. And like I said, you know,
- 3:17Speaker 3: I'm at a point in my life that since because
- 3:19Speaker 3: I've gone through all my life experiences, it's like like
- 3:23Speaker 3: my mom used to say, you have like that clinical
- 3:26Speaker 3: lie that I can spot them am all away and
- 3:28Speaker 3: I want to be like.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Yeah, get out of the way up.
- 3:37Speaker 2: No, I mean, you know I think that that's I
- 3:39Speaker 2: think that's normal.
- 3:40Speaker 3: And I think like as a Latina mom, you know,
- 3:43Speaker 3: I think we're maybe a little bit more overbearing or
- 3:45Speaker 3: you know, I think that that's how my parents were
- 3:47Speaker 3: with me. But again it's all like with good intentions,
- 3:51Speaker 3: you know, because you you don't want them to hurt,
- 3:53Speaker 3: You don't want them to suffer, you don't want them
- 3:54Speaker 3: to go through pain, and you know, get a had
- 3:57Speaker 3: like all you know.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Away from them.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Claudaga. Think you know what my mother used to do
- 4:03Speaker 1: with all my boyfriends and husbands. She'd get really close
- 4:07Speaker 1: to them and go to lunch with them and talk
- 4:09Speaker 1: to them on the phone all the time. She spent
- 4:11Speaker 1: more time with them than I did.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Well, I was smart and I was screaming them for you.
- 4:15Speaker 2: She was.
- 4:16Speaker 1: She loved all of them, and but she she thought
- 4:18Speaker 1: they were her.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Boyfriends, right, but did you love them? I'm like oilcle forward,
- 4:25Speaker 2: slow the role. She'd be like telling me what they're thinking,
- 4:28Speaker 2: what they did to them, Like I haven't even heard
- 4:30Speaker 2: from them. Tell you had lunch with them today, Well,
- 4:32Speaker 2: you had a better experience.
- 4:33Speaker 3: And I did that because my mother never liked my boyfriends,
- 4:37Speaker 3: never liked my husband's until like Todd well herman.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It took her a while as well. By the way,
- 4:42Speaker 2: Oh she didn't like them, no, because my mom never
- 4:44Speaker 2: thought that any man wasn't good enough for me.
- 4:46Speaker 1: My mom didn't like mine either, but she wanted to
- 4:48Speaker 1: hang out with them. And I've monat or Da.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I was like, I can't tell you, Michael, love is
- 4:55Speaker 2: not that I can do better, and you know, and
- 4:58Speaker 2: I don't know. I feel like I'm doing the same
- 5:00Speaker 2: thing with Peter. I always thinking he can do better.
- 5:02Speaker 3: He's had some nice girlfriends that that I that I
- 5:05Speaker 3: have liked and I have approved of, and you know,
- 5:08Speaker 3: I feel we're talking about him right now because you know,
- 5:12Speaker 3: I want to.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Replace to see Peter.
- 5:14Speaker 3: I'm sorry, but yeah, no, you know, I think that
- 5:19Speaker 3: if he marries somebody like me, he'll be perfect. So
- 5:24Speaker 3: I'm hoping that you know how they say that you
- 5:26Speaker 3: marry somebody like your mom or dad. I hope that
- 5:28Speaker 3: he finds, you know, all the good qualities and good
- 5:30Speaker 3: traits that I have. You know, I'm not perfect, and
- 5:33Speaker 3: neither is he. But you know, I really hope that
- 5:36Speaker 3: he he learns to, you know, to recognize, you know,
- 5:39Speaker 3: the good traits and you know, the good things that
- 5:41Speaker 3: you look for in a partner so that he can have,
- 5:45Speaker 3: you know, a happy and healthy life and relationship.
- 5:47Speaker 2: You know, I'm still learning myself.
- 5:49Speaker 3: You know, we never you know, we never stop growing,
- 5:52Speaker 3: and you know, we just want to make our relationships better.
- 5:55Speaker 3: And you know, I really feel that he's you know, matured,
- 5:57Speaker 3: and he's going to you know, to the point that
- 6:00Speaker 3: that he he knows, you know that he knows. And
- 6:02Speaker 3: I'm confident that he's going to marry you know, a
- 6:04Speaker 3: good woman and he's going to be in a good relationship.
- 6:07Speaker 3: But meanwhile, he's having fun and and yeah, you know,
- 6:11Speaker 3: I think as a mom, you just want your kids
- 6:13Speaker 3: to be happy. But at the same time, it's kind
- 6:16Speaker 3: of like, Okay, I want you to be happy, bitter
- 6:18Speaker 3: or you know, you you know, because it's kind of
- 6:24Speaker 3: like I never had daughters, so I want, you know,
- 6:27Speaker 3: when that moment comes, you know, I want to you know,
- 6:30Speaker 3: halfier in my life.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I want to be part of my life. And that's
- 6:33Speaker 2: why you can't be I think like sometimes when you
- 6:35Speaker 2: tell your kids like no, no, no, that's when they
- 6:37Speaker 2: really want it, right, because that's what they're doing to me,
- 6:39Speaker 2: Like they were approve of any of my guys. So
- 6:42Speaker 2: it's like and you know me, prove wrong and then
- 6:46Speaker 2: I really wanted to date them. So I'm learning from that.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Actually, I'm learning a lot from Todd, because Todd is like,
- 6:51Speaker 3: you know what, you have to like start saying yes,
- 6:53Speaker 3: because when you stay there you say yes, you know
- 6:56Speaker 3: then he he won't want it. It's kind of like
- 6:58Speaker 3: when you go against Delgray with time. Right, that's a
- 7:01Speaker 3: really good point. So I'm working on that, and I
- 7:03Speaker 3: think we're we've gone to that point that I'm like, oh, okay, okay,
- 7:06Speaker 3: well when you're really serious and then you know, we'll
- 7:08Speaker 3: talk about it and I'll screen them.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It's that that train of thought, Like I mean, for me,
- 7:13Speaker 1: any time anyone has told me no, that's when I
- 7:16Speaker 1: excel the most because I have to prove to you
- 7:19Speaker 1: that you are wrong and that no is not in
- 7:22Speaker 1: my language for me.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I mean, I want to think that out our age.
- 7:26Speaker 2: You know what. I don't want to learn anymore. I've
- 7:28Speaker 2: learned everything about to learn I've had like really tough
- 7:31Speaker 2: life lessons.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I mean in every in every scenario that if someone
- 7:35Speaker 1: says to me, now, that's not going to happen and
- 7:36Speaker 1: you can't do I'm like, you know, doahawd, right, I
- 7:41Speaker 1: guess I gave them poo handle, you know.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Yes, anybody, it's going to be that mama bear and
- 7:48Speaker 2: and I like it.
- 7:49Speaker 1: And you're that sister bear too.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Yes, I'm trying not to be a helicopter mom because
- 7:53Speaker 3: that's a little different, and I think it is already
- 7:55Speaker 3: obviously my kids already at an age that you know,
- 7:58Speaker 3: you can only like be their friend and be there
- 8:00Speaker 3: for them, and you're not going to dictate I bone,
- 8:02Speaker 3: you know, kind of like you know, impose on them
- 8:05Speaker 3: what you want, like they have to figure it out
- 8:07Speaker 3: on their own. But I would want, you know, to
- 8:10Speaker 3: obviously approve of that person when the day comes. You know,
- 8:13Speaker 3: it's both ways, because I feel like our children too
- 8:16Speaker 3: want to like the man that work with or you know,
- 8:19Speaker 3: whatever partner is that we select. You know, they want
- 8:22Speaker 3: to also have a relationship and want to have a
- 8:24Speaker 3: say in that. So I think we all need to
- 8:26Speaker 3: be respectful, you know, of each other, and you know
- 8:30Speaker 3: and hopefully, you know, find that person where both sides
- 8:33Speaker 3: are good and you know, and everybody's happy and everybody
- 8:36Speaker 3: can get along.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It's not easy, but yeah, especially in a blended family. Yeah,
- 8:42Speaker 1: I got lucky that I didn't bring anything but dogs
- 8:44Speaker 1: to my relationship. That's so much easier, my friend, and
- 8:48Speaker 1: it's a lot easier, and you.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Know, yeah, see, yeah, I see you brought like two dogs.
- 8:53Speaker 3: They count for like ten kids because you're your dogs
- 8:55Speaker 3: are sweet and.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Loving, but there are a lot of work. You didn't
- 9:00Speaker 2: train them either, so no, they're.
- 9:01Speaker 1: A little naughty and they seem to feel like, you know,
- 9:05Speaker 1: the whole house is their toilet, the entire house is
- 9:07Speaker 1: their big one.
- 9:08Speaker 2: By pad, Sorry, I mean to use that word. It
- 9:12Speaker 2: sounds better when you use that effort though.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I know, I guess a little more good.
- 9:16Speaker 3: I always say that that's like the best word in
- 9:17Speaker 3: the English language. That word in Spanish, we don't have
- 9:20Speaker 3: that equivalent. It's really good to say that effort doesn't
- 9:25Speaker 3: match all. No talking about relationships toxics.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Yeah, you've been open.
- 9:40Speaker 3: You've been pretty open about past relationships that you've had
- 9:43Speaker 3: in the past that have given to be toxic.
- 9:47Speaker 2: And yeah, I had a feel. I had a feel.
- 9:51Speaker 3: No, I mean, so we can all kind of say that,
- 9:53Speaker 3: But the most important thing is that now you're in
- 9:56Speaker 3: a loving and healthy relationship and you've learned from that
- 9:58Speaker 3: and you know how to recognize that.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I know when it's good and when it's not good, right,
- 10:03Speaker 2: And yeah, I mean, I mean, I'm not gonna lie.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Sometimes I think I got lucky, But I also think
- 10:09Speaker 1: that I put a lot of mental work into it,
- 10:13Speaker 1: not so much manifesting. But you know, I've been through
- 10:18Speaker 1: all of those toxic traits that everyone does in a breakup,
- 10:23Speaker 1: you know, blame yourself, What did I do wrong?
- 10:26Speaker 2: What could have done better? Is it my fault? How
- 10:28Speaker 2: do I fix it?
- 10:30Speaker 1: I've thought of all of those things, and all that
- 10:33Speaker 1: does is make you crazy. It makes you more and
- 10:35Speaker 1: more crazy.
- 10:36Speaker 2: You're not the problem that the guy was the right
- 10:39Speaker 2: well yeah, yeah, but I don't like the problem too,
- 10:42Speaker 2: by the way, because if you're feeling that, you kind
- 10:44Speaker 2: to kind of have to work on yourself.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Right and you want to assess where did it go wrong?
- 10:49Speaker 1: How did I plan to this? But sometimes we drive
- 10:51Speaker 1: ourselves crazy and we don't let go because we're still
- 10:54Speaker 1: beating ourselves up about something that's not even in an
- 10:57Speaker 1: existence anymore.
- 10:58Speaker 2: It's moved on. And what do you think?
- 11:02Speaker 3: I feel like a lot of women right and I
- 11:04Speaker 3: can relate to you right, like you look for these
- 11:06Speaker 3: kind of men. I don't know if they're like daddy
- 11:08Speaker 3: issues or they have something to do with our you know,
- 11:11Speaker 3: psychological past. You know, we look for these guys that
- 11:15Speaker 3: we know the signs are there, and we just like
- 11:18Speaker 3: want to fix them, right, And it's.
- 11:20Speaker 2: God, we're fixers. It's like a sientific project, you know, like, oh,
- 11:25Speaker 2: let's fix them.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Everybody's in a hurry to have the fairy tale that
- 11:29Speaker 1: we see in the movies, and reality isn't always a
- 11:31Speaker 1: fairy tale. And then we hurry up into things that
- 11:34Speaker 1: maybe we shouldn't. We ignore red flags, then we end
- 11:38Speaker 1: up in a bad situation. Then we blame ourselves. We
- 11:41Speaker 1: make ourselves sick. We lose three hundred pounds, you know
- 11:45Speaker 1: that my face to me, maybe twelve pounds, ten pounds eat.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Not everybody loses weight.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So I know some people, it's just some people out
- 11:54Speaker 1: of anxiety. Me I get skeletal and I beat myself
- 11:59Speaker 1: up today. But you know, I got to a really
- 12:01Speaker 1: low point, as you know, because you were there with
- 12:03Speaker 1: me in a past relationship. And it wasn't until I
- 12:08Speaker 1: was alone. I isolated myself at home and because I
- 12:12Speaker 1: really didn't want to be around people, I was pretty down.
- 12:14Speaker 1: And I started looking at Instagram and I started following
- 12:18Speaker 1: all these motivational little you know, pages, and one of
- 12:23Speaker 1: them stuck with me. It was like, if you feel
- 12:26Speaker 1: something negative, you have to cancel it that thought immediately
- 12:32Speaker 1: cancel it and replace it with a thought of gratitude.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Anything in your life that you can be grateful for anything.
- 12:39Speaker 1: So if I was in the air conditioning having a
- 12:41Speaker 1: cup of coffee and be like, I'm so grateful for
- 12:43Speaker 1: my cup of coffee sitting in this air conditioning.
- 12:46Speaker 2: I'm healthy, I have.
- 12:47Speaker 1: A car in my driveway, I have a roof over
- 12:50Speaker 1: my head. I just thought of any little thing and
- 12:52Speaker 1: the energy started shifting, it started changing. It became a
- 12:56Speaker 1: mantra every day, every day, every day. And it didn't
- 12:59Speaker 1: happen over now. But once I started doing that, I
- 13:01Speaker 1: saw that my energy change and then I was attracting
- 13:06Speaker 1: better things for me because I was a different person.
- 13:09Speaker 3: That's so important, because I feel like misery likes misery.
- 13:13Speaker 2: So when you're in a bad.
- 13:14Speaker 3: State in your life and you attract, attract bad so
- 13:18Speaker 3: it's like a pattern and then you have to like
- 13:20Speaker 3: you said, you did the right thing, my friend, and
- 13:22Speaker 3: I know, I was by side and I saw you, yeah,
- 13:25Speaker 3: and you know, and I saw you working on yourself.
- 13:27Speaker 2: And that's such yea.
- 13:28Speaker 3: That's for me, the most positive thing about Instagram, by
- 13:30Speaker 3: the way, which is those motivational and life coaches and
- 13:34Speaker 3: you know, sometimes you need to hear it and you
- 13:36Speaker 3: need to read it and like you said, you know,
- 13:38Speaker 3: working on yourself, because I feel like a lot of
- 13:40Speaker 3: women fall into the cycle because they're.
- 13:43Speaker 2: In a bad mental state. And that's unfortunately.
- 13:45Speaker 3: When you're attract, when you're in a good space and
- 13:48Speaker 3: you have peace and you have love and things are
- 13:50Speaker 3: flourishing in your life and you're happy, you attract you know,
- 13:53Speaker 3: somebody good and you recognize it because you know that's
- 13:56Speaker 3: the other things. You know, sometimes you're they come into
- 13:58Speaker 3: your life, you know, good people, your men, but you're
- 14:00Speaker 3: so like messed up at that moment that you don't want.
- 14:03Speaker 2: That in your life.
- 14:04Speaker 1: You want like lolao, So like, well, you can't deciphe
- 14:08Speaker 1: for it because you're yourself are so negative, and it
- 14:10Speaker 1: doesn't happen overnight. It didn't happen overnight. I was doing
- 14:13Speaker 1: this daily and then I felt less awful. I could
- 14:19Speaker 1: sleep a little bit more through the night, I could
- 14:21Speaker 1: eat a little bit more. I was like, Okay, I'm
- 14:22Speaker 1: feeling a little better. I'm feeling a little better.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Doing it more, doing it more, doing it more, until
- 14:27Speaker 2: finally I felt good.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I could go out. I hung out with friends, I
- 14:32Speaker 1: went on some dates, felt good. Kept doing it, kept
- 14:36Speaker 1: doing it, and now it's just something I do every day,
- 14:39Speaker 1: no matter what. It's like, brushing your teeth or taking
- 14:42Speaker 1: a bath. It's just a daily habit. And I find
- 14:45Speaker 1: that the more I do that, the more positive things
- 14:48Speaker 1: are coming to me. It's like a magnet.
- 14:50Speaker 3: And I mean Gamino a good man and a good
- 14:54Speaker 3: relationship that they were able to like recognize and say
- 14:57Speaker 3: this is what I want, you know, sometimes stuck in
- 15:00Speaker 3: that right, It's.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Like, but I also was a healthy mind and a
- 15:05Speaker 1: healthy human being that he was attracted to a good
- 15:09Speaker 1: man was attracted me because I was healthy, cut my own,
- 15:13Speaker 1: without kids, without a family, without anything, just me myself
- 15:17Speaker 1: by myself, was okay with me and loving myself right, so.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Truthually, you have to save yourself. It's like nobody's going
- 15:24Speaker 2: to save you.
- 15:25Speaker 3: And you know we're not mother Teresa or a Saint
- 15:27Speaker 3: Johnie mean to have to you know, save anyone. Yes,
- 15:30Speaker 3: you can help them, you know, once you love the person,
- 15:32Speaker 3: and you know we help each other and as friends
- 15:35Speaker 3: in a relationship, but basically you know you have to
- 15:38Speaker 3: save yourself.
- 15:39Speaker 2: You know, I'm done with like saving people.
- 15:41Speaker 3: You know, it's like it's like your husband and your family,
- 15:44Speaker 3: like your children, but you know what I mean, It's
- 15:46Speaker 3: like I'm not you know, I'm not about.
- 15:48Speaker 2: To save anyone like that's it. I've done it.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I'm saving in my life and now like it's kind
- 15:52Speaker 3: of like I want to be saved and I am
- 15:55Speaker 3: you know what I mean, because like you said, we've
- 15:57Speaker 3: worked on it, like on our own to be in
- 15:59Speaker 3: a good a good place in our in our lives,
- 16:01Speaker 3: in our relationship, mentally.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Healthy, and only you can do. There's one we can't
- 16:06Speaker 1: control anything in our lives. We can't control when we're
- 16:09Speaker 1: gonna die, we're gonna get a car accident or you know,
- 16:12Speaker 1: get ill. But what we can control is our thoughts
- 16:16Speaker 1: and our Thoughts are huge. They can change any scenario,
- 16:21Speaker 1: any mood. And how you accept good news bad news,
- 16:25Speaker 1: you know, it's it's all how you process it.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Thoughts are ever. I'm so proud of you.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Thanks bro Well. I learned a lot from me too.
- 16:34Speaker 1: You know, you've been through a lot. I used to
- 16:36Speaker 1: say to myself, if she can do it, you can
- 16:38Speaker 1: do it, Marisol, and you ain't gonna dig We did,
- 16:41Speaker 1: and we did just now and now we're sharing what
- 16:45Speaker 1: we've learned with the world so everyone can have a
- 16:48Speaker 1: better life.
- 16:49Speaker 3: You know, sometimes it's hard right to you know, to
- 16:51Speaker 3: put you know, it sounds like, you know, oh, everything's great,
- 16:55Speaker 3: and and it is, you know, and we're happy, but
- 16:58Speaker 3: you know, it takes thought out of work and and
- 17:02Speaker 3: you you have to want it. And that's and and
- 17:04Speaker 3: this is like everything we've learned, like throughout our life.
- 17:07Speaker 3: We've also maturial lot. You know, I think it's so
- 17:09Speaker 3: many factors. It's just not like you wake up one
- 17:11Speaker 3: day and like you know, it happens overnight.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Speaking of relationships, you know, I'm obsessed.
- 17:17Speaker 3: With j Loo and you know it's Ben jal So
- 17:20Speaker 3: speaking of relationships, there are a lot of talks about right,
- 17:25Speaker 3: Jennifer and Ben and their relationship.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I mean, there are two very public people that kind
- 17:32Speaker 2: of want to live a private life, and you know,
- 17:35Speaker 2: and does she want to live a part of life
- 17:37Speaker 2: she doesn't want to live a private life? Well, I
- 17:39Speaker 2: mean she's already out the limelight.
- 17:41Speaker 3: She's always loved a lime life, but now she's married
- 17:43Speaker 3: to somebody that is is not thinking that. He does
- 17:47Speaker 3: not feel comfortable, you know, being in the limelight like
- 17:50Speaker 3: he does as an actor, because.
- 17:51Speaker 2: That is his job and that's what he loves to do.
- 17:54Speaker 2: But I think in his personal life he wants nothing
- 17:56Speaker 2: to do with this.
- 17:58Speaker 3: But I feel like the press, you know, the narrative
- 18:02Speaker 3: that they're that they're portraying is that they're continually fighting
- 18:06Speaker 3: all the time.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Do you believe that's it? Are you buying that? Are
- 18:10Speaker 2: you believing it?
- 18:12Speaker 1: I mean I tried to think to myself, do I
- 18:16Speaker 1: even remember what he was like with John Gardner or
- 18:18Speaker 1: any of those other relationships with anybody observing if he
- 18:22Speaker 1: was grumpy all the time.
- 18:23Speaker 2: But I'm not gonna lie. He looks really.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Unhappy, even at his you know, nuptials, this honeymoon. He
- 18:29Speaker 1: always looks really anything with.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Him not drinking anymore. So he's like a dry drunk
- 18:34Speaker 2: and he's like he's not drinking anymore.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Well, I mean that's that's what I read. I mean,
- 18:40Speaker 3: you know, it's no secret that you know, he had
- 18:42Speaker 3: to drink. No, I mean she doesn't, she drinks socially.
- 18:47Speaker 3: But I feel like with him, he did give up
- 18:50Speaker 3: you know, alcohol because he was like a bad drunk
- 18:52Speaker 3: and then.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Now I couldn't handle it. Yeah, so you know, I.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Don't know if that has something to do with it
- 18:58Speaker 3: or I mean, also think of it, my friend, these
- 19:01Speaker 3: are two people with these two bigger like who has
- 19:05Speaker 3: a bigger ego?
- 19:06Speaker 2: It's like two people with.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Huge egos and they're like in the same household. So
- 19:12Speaker 3: have these two people just you know, go home with
- 19:15Speaker 3: their daily lives because.
- 19:17Speaker 2: It's it's it's I often think about it.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I mean, you know, it's hard when you're famous to
- 19:22Speaker 1: be with someone also that's famous, because it's kind of
- 19:25Speaker 1: almost like a competition who's doing better who's not.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I don't know, I haven't been in that kind of situation.
- 19:30Speaker 2: It can't be easy. Or maybe they're great together.
- 19:33Speaker 1: They feed off of each other, they lift each other up,
- 19:35Speaker 1: but then sometimes you just need someone that just supports
- 19:39Speaker 1: you and doesn't have anything to do with that.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Well, I mean, these two new I mean there's no
- 19:44Speaker 2: secret between them.
- 19:45Speaker 3: I mean when they got together the second time around,
- 19:47Speaker 3: they knew exactly, you know, who they are and what
- 19:50Speaker 3: they were bringing to the marriage.
- 19:51Speaker 2: And you know, they knew the problems, you know, from before.
- 19:55Speaker 3: You know, I thought maybe after so many years there
- 19:58Speaker 3: had been a lot of maturing and girls and they
- 20:00Speaker 3: were at a good place in their lives, both of them.
- 20:02Speaker 3: They knew what they didn't want, what hadn't work before,
- 20:04Speaker 3: would work now. And that's what that's what I'm really
- 20:08Speaker 3: hoping for, because you know, I don't I don't like
- 20:10Speaker 3: to judge people's relationship by a picture of like a
- 20:13Speaker 3: moment that they saw so basically myself that you know,
- 20:17Speaker 3: they see Ben always grumpy, but you know, maybe he
- 20:20Speaker 3: doesn't like the cameras, he doesn't like the proparazzi following him.
- 20:23Speaker 3: I mean, they're obviously in the wrong city. You know,
- 20:24Speaker 3: they're in Los Angeles, so of course they're going to
- 20:26Speaker 3: get that.
- 20:27Speaker 2: But you know, I mean, think about it, they're followed
- 20:31Speaker 2: up by the proparazzi all the time.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I mean, that's really knowing my friend, it is, but
- 20:36Speaker 1: also knowing that and he knows that he looks grumpy.
- 20:39Speaker 2: You'd think that, but it's good, you know what.
- 20:41Speaker 3: I respect, but it's not going to put on a
- 20:44Speaker 3: smile and a happy face just so they don't talk, you.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Know, about.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Me.
- 20:51Speaker 2: It's a terrible way to live, but you know, I
- 20:54Speaker 2: respect them.
- 20:54Speaker 3: He doesn't care, you know, And unfortunately all they do
- 20:58Speaker 3: is I continue to follow him, and you know what,
- 21:00Speaker 3: They're not going to get a smile out of him
- 21:01Speaker 3: because he's not.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Going to do it.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, do you think at this point he's just
- 21:05Speaker 1: not smiling because he wants to just keep it going
- 21:07Speaker 1: like he doesn't care.
- 21:08Speaker 2: And that's it, Like I'm not going to smile because
- 21:13Speaker 2: then you're going to say fake smiling. Right, Well, I
- 21:16Speaker 2: mean a Rod was laughing all the time and from
- 21:19Speaker 2: a smile from here to here, and you know, I'm
- 21:21Speaker 2: very you know, he wasn't very happy either, and neither
- 21:23Speaker 2: was she. So it's.
- 21:26Speaker 3: No, that's that's what I'm saying that just like a
- 21:29Speaker 3: picture like doesn't anything right because.
- 21:32Speaker 2: It's like, I mean, who loved more bread carper moment
- 21:35Speaker 2: than a Rod? Right?
- 21:36Speaker 3: And and Jlo and for that matter, you know, they
- 21:39Speaker 3: had all these problems you know, behind the scene.
- 21:41Speaker 2: That nobody was looking, that nobody knew or was talking
- 21:43Speaker 2: about until it did.
- 21:44Speaker 1: So you you think it's because he's sober and it
- 21:46Speaker 1: doesn't agree with him.
- 21:48Speaker 3: No, I think it's a combination of things. I think
- 21:50Speaker 3: that you know, he's he's not that guy, and he
- 21:53Speaker 3: never really has been. You know, he doesn't like the spotlight,
- 21:56Speaker 3: you know, only when he's directing the movie or starring
- 21:59Speaker 3: in the movie or one of his award shows. And
- 22:02Speaker 3: and Jail obviously has lived her life differently in the
- 22:05Speaker 3: spot life and enjoying it. But you know, at the
- 22:08Speaker 3: end of the day, they just have to learn how
- 22:10Speaker 3: to separate, you know, their that life and their their
- 22:14Speaker 3: life at home, you know, with one another as a couple.
- 22:17Speaker 2: But I'm just like, I don't know. I really want
- 22:20Speaker 2: them to work out. I really want I mean, this
- 22:22Speaker 2: is like her what fourth of marriage? Ready? I think fourth?
- 22:26Speaker 2: What do you think? Do you think it's gonna work out?
- 22:28Speaker 2: I don't. I mean, I don't know.
- 22:31Speaker 4: I'm not I don't go to bed with them, and
- 22:33Speaker 4: I don't I mean, I know, I'm there, you know,
- 22:36Speaker 4: I'm sitting here, and you know, they're making a narrative
- 22:38Speaker 4: about me and my relationship behind my back, right, But
- 22:42Speaker 4: think about it, every couple, every married couple, goes.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Through this Marasol. I mean, I don't know. He looks
- 22:48Speaker 2: consistently miserable, he really does. And let me ask you something.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Have you noticed that every time they catch him being miserable,
- 22:55Speaker 1: like she does like a pr move and has straight
- 22:58Speaker 1: up and smile.
- 22:58Speaker 2: She's at them and that you love me.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's a vessel, pretend you love me?
- 23:06Speaker 2: Does something?
- 23:08Speaker 3: Well, there's there's definitely something there obviously, and they love
- 23:11Speaker 3: each other. But I feel that they're having a hard
- 23:14Speaker 3: time when they go out in public, perhaps and Miami, I.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Will ask her, why don't you go home with them
- 23:21Speaker 1: and get in bed with them like Freud and see
- 23:24Speaker 1: if you can figure this out?
- 23:25Speaker 2: Oh god, no, I don't know how that would. So
- 23:28Speaker 2: I don't know about that. It's a little more complicated.
- 23:30Speaker 2: But I mean, even in the red carpet, think about it,
- 23:32Speaker 2: the red carpets that we've done, even with talk, Todd
- 23:34Speaker 2: doesn't like to take pictures on the red carpet. That
- 23:36Speaker 2: makes them feel uncomfortable. But he's a professional. You think
- 23:39Speaker 2: you can pull a smile on a red carpet, so
- 23:42Speaker 2: you're in the red carpet. Listen. I guess he's an actor,
- 23:45Speaker 2: it doesn't matter, but he's not acting. This is real.
- 23:47Speaker 2: This is a real moment.
- 23:49Speaker 3: And by the way, by the way, because I've been
- 23:52Speaker 3: under that stress, right, because I'm a real person and
- 23:54Speaker 3: I'm in the red carpet moment. You know, sometimes my
- 23:57Speaker 3: kids go with us to the events. So I'm worried
- 23:59Speaker 3: about Frankie, worried about Peter. I'm worried, Oh my god,
- 24:02Speaker 3: they're there, Like did they come in? Did they know
- 24:04Speaker 3: where we're acting? So your head's all over the place.
- 24:06Speaker 3: And these are these are real human beings as well.
- 24:08Speaker 1: You have tea people.
- 24:10Speaker 3: They're not only an actress and an actor, you know,
- 24:13Speaker 3: they they come from from They have problems at home,
- 24:16Speaker 3: they leave the house.
- 24:17Speaker 2: You know, the stress of getting ready for a red
- 24:19Speaker 2: carpet moment.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Is a lot.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I don't think Ben's that stress when he's getting ready
- 24:23Speaker 1: for a red carpet.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Jennifer probably stresses.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Him out, stresses him out.
- 24:29Speaker 3: She wants it to be perfect. She wanted her to
- 24:32Speaker 3: be perfect, and is you know, outfu to be perfect.
- 24:34Speaker 3: So she said, wait, Yeayesa, and he's not because he
- 24:38Speaker 3: really doesn't care about that. He really doesn't care for
- 24:40Speaker 3: a lot.
- 24:41Speaker 2: So I get.
- 24:41Speaker 1: That's an he's an actor and he could act at
- 24:45Speaker 1: least on a red carpet and smile a little bit.
- 24:47Speaker 1: He's he's he's he's the one driving this this narrative.
- 24:51Speaker 2: So you're blaming him.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Then you think that he should just say, I'm saying,
- 24:56Speaker 3: reality TV star, I don't think you should smile, that
- 24:59Speaker 3: he should be faking it.
- 25:00Speaker 1: He could muster a smile. He's an actor.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Well, I appreciate his authenticity on him being so real
- 25:08Speaker 3: and him not giving a shit and giving us something
- 25:11Speaker 3: to talk about, because that's why we're here talking about it.
- 25:14Speaker 3: But anyways, I could really relate to them because I
- 25:16Speaker 3: know those red carpet moments are stressful and it takes
- 25:20Speaker 3: a lot to get ready for, you know, to get
- 25:22Speaker 3: the whole family together, the.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Family be there, you're worried about them, what's going to
- 25:26Speaker 2: happen later? And you know, And that's what it is.
- 25:29Speaker 3: I mean, in my eyes and my perspective, that's what
- 25:31Speaker 3: it is. I think people are just fascinated with talking.
- 25:34Speaker 2: About other people. Just if we are right now talking
- 25:37Speaker 2: about them and some people are going to defend them
- 25:39Speaker 2: and the haters are safe. This is a fascinating topic
- 25:42Speaker 2: for sure.
- 25:43Speaker 3: I mean, she obviously loves something about him because she's
- 25:46Speaker 3: still there, and you know, she's very quick about pulling
- 25:49Speaker 3: the trigger.
- 25:49Speaker 2: So if she.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Wouldn't be happy, and just like if he wouldn't be happy,
- 25:53Speaker 3: they're both you know, growing ass adults, and they can
- 25:55Speaker 3: go their own very way and they'll be just fine.
- 25:57Speaker 2: I think they must have like a major printup she
- 26:01Speaker 2: I mean, she's tell them money than him, Yeah, so
- 26:03Speaker 2: she should have a greenup. He's produced a lot of
- 26:06Speaker 2: big movies.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Doesn't matter if she has a whole empire, So I
- 26:10Speaker 3: hope she really hasn't. I mean, I think for both
- 26:12Speaker 3: of them, the smart move obviously is to have a
- 26:15Speaker 3: greenup because they're both very wealthy people.
- 26:17Speaker 2: But at this point, I think she has more money
- 26:19Speaker 2: than him. Could be who knows.
- 26:21Speaker 3: In addition to all the pressures that they have as
- 26:23Speaker 3: a couple, they also have their blended family. You know,
- 26:27Speaker 3: he has three children from his previous marriage. She has
- 26:30Speaker 3: her twins which are full time with her. I mean,
- 26:34Speaker 3: it's it's it's a lot of pressure. Honestly, I'm going
- 26:37Speaker 3: to give them a break because it's a lot.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Yeah. And besides, I mean you know that she's like
- 26:42Speaker 2: my girl crushed, So I know you love her everything. Fact,
- 26:46Speaker 2: but I will I will rest here because I know
- 26:49Speaker 2: that you love her so much. Yeah, you know, I
- 26:51Speaker 2: think it's women.
- 26:52Speaker 3: I mean women always like like try to like to
- 26:54Speaker 3: criticize her and put her down and whatever, and I don't.
- 26:58Speaker 3: I think that I have a lot of set for
- 27:00Speaker 3: her because she's you know, she's done so much, you know,
- 27:04Speaker 3: with her life, and she had like all the odds
- 27:06Speaker 3: against her, and I think as a Latina she kind
- 27:09Speaker 3: of like opens up the market for the latina's with
- 27:12Speaker 3: her movie Selena.
- 27:13Speaker 2: With Selena, and you know, she's done so much. So
- 27:17Speaker 2: I really have a lot of respect for her. Yeah,
- 27:19Speaker 2: she's listened. She's a hard worker. She's super dedicated and focused. Definitely. Well,
- 27:23Speaker 2: speaking of hard workers, how do you feel about Taylor Swift?
- 27:27Speaker 3: Because Taylor is another one that works her a little
- 27:29Speaker 3: bit off, and she also stays very busy with all
- 27:34Speaker 3: her relationships, right.
- 27:36Speaker 1: So she just that she's like jail. She goes from
- 27:39Speaker 1: one to another. She never has a break, that's right, Yeah,
- 27:43Speaker 1: And how do you feel about that?
- 27:46Speaker 2: No? I mean I feel like she gets really good
- 27:48Speaker 2: music from it.
- 27:48Speaker 3: So you know, we're happy every time she moves on
- 27:50Speaker 3: to another relationship because she's going to sing about it.
- 27:53Speaker 2: And I love her music. And are you're a tailor?
- 27:55Speaker 1: Oh you're a Taylor Swift fan.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm a Taylor Swift fan too. I think she's
- 28:01Speaker 3: she's really great. And Todd went to her concert and
- 28:03Speaker 3: she said she was amazing in Dallas. She's a great
- 28:07Speaker 3: entertainer and performer and everything.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie. I'm like Queen of Rebounds.
- 28:13Speaker 1: You've known me long enough to know that I don't
- 28:15Speaker 1: like to be two minutes by myself, and I always
- 28:17Speaker 1: jump into something without thinking about it, like right, I get.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Married and even.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Yeah, just like Taylor, just like JA, just like Elizabeth Taylor.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Speaking of Taylor, right, I you know that's my thing.
- 28:32Speaker 1: And life is short and I'm all about you know,
- 28:34Speaker 1: living in the moment. And you know there's no guarantee
- 28:37Speaker 1: that if she sits home and waits a year or
- 28:40Speaker 1: two years, that that's going to be the rest relationship.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Of course, people like to put like an expert, you know,
- 28:47Speaker 2: like a date, like when is it okay for you
- 28:49Speaker 2: to you should write on your next relationship?
- 28:53Speaker 3: Is there like like a period of time that you
- 28:56Speaker 3: need to take between one breakup and your next relationship.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I mean people say it's healthy to do that. I
- 29:02Speaker 1: don't do that, but you know, because I know how
- 29:05Speaker 1: short life is, and I want to live. I want
- 29:07Speaker 1: to live every moment. And if I make a mistake,
- 29:09Speaker 1: I'll make a mistake and I'll learn from it.
- 29:12Speaker 2: But I want to live, you know.
- 29:14Speaker 1: And like I said, there's no guarantee that if you
- 29:16Speaker 1: sit at home and wait six months or a year
- 29:19Speaker 1: to move on to your next relationship, that that's a
- 29:21Speaker 1: full proof you know, that's the full proof way to go,
- 29:25Speaker 1: and that guarantees that your next relationship is going to
- 29:27Speaker 1: be amazing, you know, like you have to work on yourself,
- 29:31Speaker 1: like we said before.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Right, And I mean I think it also must be
- 29:34Speaker 3: so difficult for her. I mean, she's a mega superstar.
- 29:38Speaker 3: She's thirty two years old, and she's at the peak
- 29:42Speaker 3: of her career. So can you imagine how heart it
- 29:46Speaker 3: must be for her to find someone that is not
- 29:50Speaker 3: really you know, just being with her because she's Taylor
- 29:53Speaker 3: Swift and may have you know, other motives and just
- 29:56Speaker 3: like liking her and being with her.
- 29:59Speaker 1: So you know, she keeps dating other celebrities and I know,
- 30:05Speaker 1: you know, but I don't know any of the guys
- 30:08Speaker 1: that she's doing well. That's that's going to be difficult, right,
- 30:12Speaker 1: So do you think that she's.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Better off with just like a normal guy that is
- 30:15Speaker 3: not in the same world as her, or do you
- 30:17Speaker 3: think that that it would work better with somebody you
- 30:21Speaker 3: see she's like the opposite, Like so for example, Ben
- 30:23Speaker 3: and j Lo, you said that you don't think you.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Know that that would work out. Here's the thing.
- 30:29Speaker 1: I don't know if it's better to be with someone
- 30:31Speaker 1: that's also in your career and then maybe feels bad
- 30:34Speaker 1: about himself because you're doing better and he's not, or
- 30:36Speaker 1: if you're better off being with someone like I am
- 30:38Speaker 1: with Steve who does nothing to do with television, super supportive,
- 30:43Speaker 1: has nothing to do and it doesn't care, just wants
- 30:45Speaker 1: me to win. So you know, I don't know. You know,
- 30:49Speaker 1: look at Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. They've been together forever,
- 30:54Speaker 1: they're both in the same career. They support each other.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. I don't believe Goldie
- 31:00Speaker 1: and yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Whats his name? Boldihan's husband. Uh well, I mean there's
- 31:05Speaker 2: a few of them in Hollywood. There's been a few,
- 31:07Speaker 2: you know, success stories.
- 31:09Speaker 3: You know, we're both the man and the woman have
- 31:11Speaker 3: both been big you know, actors and actresses, and the
- 31:14Speaker 3: had a beautiful life together.
- 31:16Speaker 1: And but there's also been occasions where people on movie
- 31:21Speaker 1: sets cheat and then look what happened with Angeline and
- 31:23Speaker 1: Brad or Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman. They split up
- 31:28Speaker 1: marriages right meeting on seck with other rights.
- 31:31Speaker 4: So let's thank god, thank god we don't have that
- 31:34Speaker 4: risk because we're so I know, I thought we don't
- 31:37Speaker 4: have that exactly.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Thank god that.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Doesn't happen in our show, but it apparently happens on
- 31:42Speaker 3: other really reality TV shows like Random Hunt Poules.
- 31:45Speaker 2: So, but yeah, Todd and Steven have enough to worry,
- 31:48Speaker 2: nothing to worry about. I don't know what the answer is,
- 31:51Speaker 2: my friend, you know, I don't know. I don't know.
- 31:54Speaker 3: I think that because they're like pool of dating their
- 31:57Speaker 3: dating pool is so small, you know, and they're like
- 32:01Speaker 3: in Los Angeles and they're all over the world, and
- 32:04Speaker 3: like they're like around other celebrities.
- 32:06Speaker 2: It's kind of like normal for them.
- 32:08Speaker 3: So you can't even really blame them because these are
- 32:10Speaker 3: the people that they hang out with, like this is
- 32:12Speaker 3: who they're exposed to.
- 32:14Speaker 1: So and then they get it where they have to
- 32:16Speaker 1: take off at a minute's notice or they can afford
- 32:18Speaker 1: to meet them, because you know, it's also you know,
- 32:21Speaker 1: I like.
- 32:22Speaker 3: To think that it would work because you know, I
- 32:24Speaker 3: think that a celebrity gets another celebrity, or at least
- 32:28Speaker 3: they get their lifestyle, and they respect each other as
- 32:31Speaker 3: like talent and their work ethics. So you know, I
- 32:34Speaker 3: want to think in my head that that would work
- 32:37Speaker 3: better than someone that comes from a completely different world.
- 32:41Speaker 3: But then again, somebody that does come from a completely
- 32:43Speaker 3: different world, like you said, would support it. Maybe it
- 32:46Speaker 3: doesn't know too much about it, so therefore there's no.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Conflict back like shine maybe help you, but then they're
- 32:52Speaker 1: more into yeah, but.
- 32:54Speaker 2: That gets more into sometimes it depends, you know, Well,
- 33:00Speaker 2: so she's very young.
- 33:01Speaker 3: She's very young, and she's beautiful and talented, and you
- 33:03Speaker 3: know she's I don't think she's going to have ever
- 33:06Speaker 3: a problem with finding a guy, whether he's a celebrity
- 33:10Speaker 3: or a normal guy.
- 33:12Speaker 2: And she's also no I also around. The hardest time
- 33:16Speaker 2: is keeping them because she goes from one to the other.
- 33:19Speaker 1: But she's grown up in the limelight kind of like
- 33:22Speaker 1: Britney and Christina. Even even Madonna started when she was
- 33:27Speaker 1: really young. I think it's very hard for them when
- 33:29Speaker 1: they grow up around that to keep somebody because they
- 33:32Speaker 1: just live such a different life and they're so regimented
- 33:36Speaker 1: and they're in you know, they're they're all their things.
- 33:40Speaker 1: They're very super focused and hyper focused and don't have
- 33:43Speaker 1: a lot to give to a relationship sometimes or maybe
- 33:45Speaker 1: they have too much to get right or they expect
- 33:48Speaker 1: too much from the people around them because they expect
- 33:50Speaker 1: so much from themselves.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Yeah, well she has time to figure it out because
- 33:53Speaker 3: she's still very young. Yeah, but do you think that
- 33:56Speaker 3: she should be criticized like that she's moving on, like
- 33:58Speaker 3: from a new man, you know, after six years.
- 34:01Speaker 2: I mean you want to think that if you've been
- 34:02Speaker 2: with somebody for six years.
- 34:04Speaker 3: I think that when something like that happens, my friend,
- 34:06Speaker 3: is because you moved on a long time ago, Like
- 34:09Speaker 3: even though you just broke up or one of them,
- 34:10Speaker 3: you break it, your breakup. It means kind of like
- 34:14Speaker 3: you haven't been present, you know what I mean? Because
- 34:16Speaker 3: how can you be so in love with somebody and
- 34:18Speaker 3: just break up and like a week later, like be
- 34:20Speaker 3: dating somebody else.
- 34:22Speaker 1: So does that lead you to believe that she was
- 34:25Speaker 1: the one that instigated the breakup because she's already moved
- 34:27Speaker 1: on somebody.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Oh so I didn't hear anything about that. I think
- 34:35Speaker 3: it was something mutual. I feel like sometimes the celebrities
- 34:38Speaker 3: don't announce, you.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Know, exactly what to happen, right, So I'm sure this
- 34:44Speaker 2: is the thing for months. Yeah, we don't even know
- 34:47Speaker 2: what the right time is. You know, for all week.
- 34:49Speaker 3: There could have been broken up, you know, personally between
- 34:52Speaker 3: them six months ago and now publicly they just announced it.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I was going to say that why always in my head? Yes,
- 35:02Speaker 1: you know, like I said before, just do your rebounds
- 35:07Speaker 1: and have fun and live your life, you know along
- 35:09Speaker 1: the way, you know, exactly right. Yeah, we said this
- 35:15Speaker 1: last week, we did, the best way to get over
- 35:17Speaker 1: someone is to.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Get under someone new. Of course, that's like I will.
- 35:23Speaker 1: The English version. Yes, yeah, yeah, all right, Taylor, good
- 35:27Speaker 1: luck to you with your new guy. We want to
- 35:29Speaker 1: see a wedding girl and.
- 35:31Speaker 3: We want to we want to listen to a new song.
- 35:33Speaker 3: I'm sure it will be like another number one hit.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Well, speaking of.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Speaking of breakups, Oh my god, I saw this coming.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Did you see this coming? Kim Zola Verly?
- 35:56Speaker 2: Anti Cohen didn't see it coming. Anti, there was such
- 35:59Speaker 2: a loving couple.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Well, Auntie was really in shock that that Kim and
- 36:04Speaker 3: her husband were going to a divorce. He said he
- 36:06Speaker 3: would have never ever seen something like that coming because
- 36:10Speaker 3: they were so loving to each other. There were so
- 36:12Speaker 3: many to each other. He had adopted her kids, her daughters.
- 36:17Speaker 3: So the truth is that you never really.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Know my friend.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Actually, when they first got together and she kept having
- 36:24Speaker 1: all the babies and they were living like hi, I
- 36:27Speaker 1: thought that money's going to run out one day because
- 36:30Speaker 1: he's not going to play football forever and they're spending
- 36:33Speaker 1: a lot and she's having a lot of kids, and
- 36:36Speaker 1: I kept thinking, there's going to be a problem down
- 36:38Speaker 1: the road, there's going to be Well, you know me,
- 36:40Speaker 1: I'm very prudent with my cash. So I started spending
- 36:43Speaker 1: and I saw all the babies.
- 36:45Speaker 3: And I thought, oh boy, this is not going to
- 36:47Speaker 3: end with But I mean, they only had a home
- 36:48Speaker 3: that was one point six million dollars.
- 36:50Speaker 2: It's not like about a ten million dollar mansion. She
- 36:53Speaker 2: was working too, But she was working too. What about
- 36:56Speaker 2: her money? She was making good money too.
- 37:00Speaker 1: She stopped working and he stopped working, and I guess
- 37:02Speaker 1: I couldn't keep I mean, but they both right, So say,
- 37:05Speaker 1: I mean, somebody has to work. Well, we all knew
- 37:08Speaker 1: the show wasn't gonna last prover and he couldn't play
- 37:10Speaker 1: football forever.
- 37:11Speaker 2: And those are a lot of kids that aren't gonna.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Actually there were going careers that were very short term, temporary.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and they didn't plant it that way.
- 37:20Speaker 3: But do you think it's like, okay, we don't know
- 37:23Speaker 3: at this point that why they're getting divorced. But I
- 37:28Speaker 3: do want to add that the financial problems in a
- 37:30Speaker 3: relationship are general one caused, you know, besides g I
- 37:35Speaker 3: think the financials, you know, financial problems are way up there.
- 37:40Speaker 1: And so those are the two reasons that usually happens
- 37:43Speaker 1: financially also too.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Like in slows and other factors, but usually the two
- 37:47Speaker 3: strongest is is that you know, the infidelity and financial problems.
- 37:52Speaker 2: But do you think that's okay?
- 37:54Speaker 3: I mean, would you ever be if if your man
- 37:56Speaker 3: was going through financial troubles, would you abandon in him?
- 38:01Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I think you're stronger together. I would work work with
- 38:05Speaker 1: him because I'm a hustler and I always know how
- 38:08Speaker 1: to figure out how to make money and do things,
- 38:10Speaker 1: and I would, you know, it's I would stay with
- 38:13Speaker 1: my partner and work it out with him. You know,
- 38:15Speaker 1: together we could do more than separate.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Saying that's why you're my mega, that's why you're my
- 38:19Speaker 3: friend role because I think exactly like you. Actually, I
- 38:22Speaker 3: had this conversation with Todd last night and I said,
- 38:25Speaker 3: I want to hope that there's something more than financial problems,
- 38:28Speaker 3: because like that's pretty shitty, you know, just because like
- 38:30Speaker 3: you're losing everything now and your own money to the
- 38:32Speaker 3: irs and blah blah blah, that you just like, you know,
- 38:36Speaker 3: abandon each other, because like you said, it's a time
- 38:38Speaker 3: where you need to really, you know, get together to
- 38:42Speaker 3: be a team and work it out and work it
- 38:45Speaker 3: out at least to just come up from that, right
- 38:47Speaker 3: And I felt like it's so sad that they loved
- 38:49Speaker 3: each other so much and there were such a beautiful family.
- 38:52Speaker 2: And really were a beautiful fan. Yes, you know and
- 38:55Speaker 2: they I.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Remember seeing her at portious wedding port Yeah. Yeah, She's
- 39:01Speaker 3: always so sweet and beautiful. And it was really at
- 39:05Speaker 3: that point I didn't know anything. And then you know,
- 39:07Speaker 3: this is not even a year later, six eight months later,
- 39:10Speaker 3: and we find out about this. And I'm always really
- 39:12Speaker 3: excited to hear about these kind of breakups, especially but
- 39:15Speaker 3: there's children involved.
- 39:16Speaker 2: It just breaks my heart and I just I just
- 39:20Speaker 2: want to like preempt what I was saying before.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I was I never thought that they would split, but
- 39:27Speaker 1: I knew they were going to end up in some
- 39:29Speaker 1: big financial trouble. That's what I saw early on. I
- 39:33Speaker 1: was like, that is a lot of overspending, a lot
- 39:37Speaker 1: of children, and both careers are very temporary. I saw
- 39:41Speaker 1: a financial problem. I really didn't think they'd split up
- 39:44Speaker 1: because they.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Look I mean financial, financial problems to split up people,
- 39:49Speaker 3: of course, but you know, you never really.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Know, like what happens behind the scenes.
- 39:53Speaker 3: But I guess after they announced they're split, you know,
- 39:56Speaker 3: I think he's asking for full custody, soul, custody of
- 40:00Speaker 3: the children, and I think she is as well.
- 40:03Speaker 2: So they're like in a really bad place. And again.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Left the little they have left they're going not spending
- 40:10Speaker 1: in courtrooms and they shouldn't.
- 40:12Speaker 2: They need to figure that out. No, I mean hopefully
- 40:14Speaker 2: they don't.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Hopefully they can get past this and you know, look
- 40:18Speaker 3: at the the bigger picture and say, okay, like there's
- 40:21Speaker 3: there's no money here, and usually divorces get messy when
- 40:25Speaker 3: there's money. But there's no money here. They actually have
- 40:28Speaker 3: a lot of debt. So at this point, I don't know,
- 40:32Speaker 3: you know, what the outcome is going to be. But
- 40:35Speaker 3: it really upset me to read.
- 40:37Speaker 1: This, you know, and to find out how this very sad.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Yeah, there's just there's so little those kids.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Yeah, because there's at this point, since there's no money
- 40:46Speaker 3: as far as the divorce goes, now it's becoming a
- 40:50Speaker 3: custody battle, and that's even more sad because you know,
- 40:53Speaker 3: you don't you want to protect your children.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to play out in the press, it's
- 40:58Speaker 1: going to cost a lot of money. It's only gonna
- 41:00Speaker 1: make things more toxic.
- 41:01Speaker 3: But do you think so we I mean, we've already
- 41:03Speaker 3: established that they lived above their means. But I feel
- 41:07Speaker 3: like there's a lot of people, you know, in the
- 41:09Speaker 3: celebrity world, I mean even in the regular.
- 41:13Speaker 2: World that you know about their means, right, But in
- 41:17Speaker 2: this case.
- 41:17Speaker 3: We're talking about like hot topics what everybody else is
- 41:20Speaker 3: talking about right now. And you know, these are two
- 41:22Speaker 3: people that are public figures as well and are going
- 41:26Speaker 3: through this, you know, divorce publicly, and all these allegations
- 41:30Speaker 3: are remade about their finances and about you know, their
- 41:34Speaker 3: custody battle. So I.
- 41:37Speaker 2: I don't know what the outcome will be, and I'm
- 41:41Speaker 2: sure they don't know either.
- 41:42Speaker 3: I mean, there's like all this money that's old to
- 41:44Speaker 3: the irs and their house was in foreclosure. They have
- 41:48Speaker 3: a one point six million dollar mansion in Atlanta and
- 41:51Speaker 3: the loan was in default.
- 41:53Speaker 2: And yeah, after that.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Great house, we should go scoop it up. That was
- 41:58Speaker 1: a good one.
- 42:00Speaker 2: You move to Atlanta? No, we can.
- 42:02Speaker 1: I have like a winter home. You want to split
- 42:05Speaker 1: winter home?
- 42:06Speaker 2: Looking for a winter home, I prefer my friend.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I do want to see a change of weather. But
- 42:12Speaker 1: it gets a little cool there, it's nice.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Do you know anybody that's losing their home and aspen
- 42:16Speaker 2: because I rather have a place.
- 42:19Speaker 1: I'm sure there's people all over it.
- 42:21Speaker 2: I don't. I don't. God, it's terrible, okay, know it is,
- 42:27Speaker 2: But truthfully, I'm not looking at my home in Atlanta.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I have to say, my heart hurts. I feel bad
- 42:33Speaker 1: for her and her sweet family. It was such a cute.
- 42:36Speaker 1: It is a cute, beautiful little family. You know.
- 42:40Speaker 2: I'll send them some good energy and hope they figure
- 42:42Speaker 2: it out and get back on their feet. Mm hmm.
- 42:47Speaker 3: Okay, So speaking of that, like if I can't help
- 42:50Speaker 3: to think about Kim and feel like, you know, she
- 42:52Speaker 3: was part of the show of the Housewives and also
- 42:56Speaker 3: with her own show, you know, Don't be Chardy for
- 42:59Speaker 3: the Party. Do you think that maybe the show made her,
- 43:03Speaker 3: like gave her this pressure where she needed to keep
- 43:05Speaker 3: spending money and you know, living large, because you know,
- 43:09Speaker 3: that's what we're like showing on TV. You know, we're
- 43:11Speaker 3: showing like this fabulous, glamorous life, you know, filled with money,
- 43:15Speaker 3: filled with material things, and and I don't know, do
- 43:19Speaker 3: you think that that got to her head and she
- 43:20Speaker 3: felt like that pressure like this is who I am,
- 43:23Speaker 3: and like I need to continue doing this, and she
- 43:25Speaker 3: just kept on getting.
- 43:26Speaker 1: And I don't you don't know her, and I can't
- 43:29Speaker 1: speak for her, but I've been watching her from the beginning,
- 43:32Speaker 1: and she always had a taste for expensive and luxury
- 43:36Speaker 1: and always figured it out.
- 43:38Speaker 2: So, uh, you know, I don't know, for example, for
- 43:41Speaker 2: you do you think the show makes you feel that way?
- 43:43Speaker 1: So I was going to say, I have to keep
- 43:45Speaker 1: spending I personally that you know, I do my own thing.
- 43:50Speaker 1: I don't do anything special or extra for the show.
- 43:54Speaker 1: My house is my home, My things are my things,
- 43:56Speaker 1: and you know I have nice things. What I live
- 44:01Speaker 1: way below my means. I'm very cautious. But you know
- 44:04Speaker 1: that's not everybody. So some people probably do show up
- 44:08Speaker 1: for the show. I don't, you know, it's different. I
- 44:12Speaker 1: don't know if she did. Maybe she did.
- 44:15Speaker 2: I think they thought the money was never going to end,
- 44:17Speaker 2: and so they spent like it wasn't going.
- 44:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so general is I feel like celebrities
- 44:22Speaker 3: and her case, you know, being on a show and
- 44:24Speaker 3: him being an athlete, which is kind of like a
- 44:26Speaker 3: celebrity too because we glorify them.
- 44:28Speaker 2: And with that being said, it's like they think it's
- 44:31Speaker 2: never going to stop.
- 44:32Speaker 3: But it's kind of like they're they're stuck in that
- 44:35Speaker 3: and so okay, well next year I'm going to get
- 44:36Speaker 3: a bigger deal, or you know, my show is going to.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Be picked up. For next season, counting on money that
- 44:41Speaker 2: still hasn't been the bank, and you're already spending it
- 44:43Speaker 2: hasn't been to come in exactly. Well, I mean, I'm
- 44:46Speaker 2: sorry that we've talked about all these couples that, you know,
- 44:49Speaker 2: yeah today, I know, because I don't like to you know,
- 44:53Speaker 2: I'm very positive and honestly, I really want, you know,
- 44:56Speaker 2: everybody to be happy and you know, and to be
- 45:00Speaker 2: successful and to be making money. But you know, this
- 45:03Speaker 2: is reality.
- 45:04Speaker 3: I mean it's really you know, when you're in a relationship,
- 45:07Speaker 3: you know, there's ups and downs, and you know, it's
- 45:09Speaker 3: kind of just like figuring it out, and you know
- 45:12Speaker 3: how much is too much?
- 45:13Speaker 2: You know, And hopefully I don't think that there's any
- 45:19Speaker 2: kind of reconciliation between these two. I mean, for now,
- 45:23Speaker 2: it doesn't sound like it's very good.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Down the line, when they move on and have new
- 45:27Speaker 1: relationships and the kids are a little older, they'll do parties.
- 45:30Speaker 2: And things together and everything will be fine. You know
- 45:32Speaker 2: how that happens. It just takes a little time for
- 45:35Speaker 2: everybody to get it settled, move on and life resumes. Yeah,
- 45:41Speaker 2: they'll be okay, I hope.
- 45:42Speaker 3: So, because you know, especially like I said, there's kids involved,
- 45:46Speaker 3: and you know, they're kind.

- 45:50Speaker 2: you know, and that's the only lifestyle they know.
- 45:52Speaker 5: I know that the daughters are older now, but you know,
- 45:56Speaker 5: I don't know. It's it's not menadonic, so little. Some
- 46:00Speaker 5: of them are so tiny that they they're not even
- 46:02Speaker 5: going to remember that. And she's a hustler, she's always
- 46:05Speaker 5: got hustling and working.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Hopefully she can come back to the Atlanta Housewives, that
- 46:10Speaker 2: would be ideal. Right, get her back, get paycheck, Yeah, yeah,
- 46:17Speaker 2: get your paycheck. Don't go to the casino.
- 46:19Speaker 1: We're gonna have to go interrupt, go sit down with
- 46:22Speaker 1: her and be like, listen, girl, give me a paycheck.
- 46:25Speaker 2: We're administering your money for you. Well, hopefully she'll get
- 46:29Speaker 2: you know, she'll get out of this hole and and
- 46:32Speaker 2: work it out and you know, find out a solution
- 46:36Speaker 2: because it's not a good place to be in. One
- 46:39Speaker 2: of my friend.
- 46:41Speaker 1: I love you, it was so good to see you.
- 46:44Speaker 2: I love but it's kind of like a sad champing.
- 46:49Speaker 2: I don't I don't like that, I.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Know, to end up like this, I'm feeling very heavy myself.
- 46:53Speaker 1: This was hard, it was sad, it was very dark.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Today's I'm sorry for today's.
- 47:00Speaker 2: It's like I feel like it's Isn't it weird that
- 47:03Speaker 2: even though we like kind of like even on our show,
