- 0:00Speaker 1: Good morning Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Long Island and welcome
- 0:03Speaker 1: to the very last Monday morning of October 2026. My
- 0:08Speaker 1: name is Annie and I will be in control for
- 0:10Speaker 1: the first hour this morning. Friends, as we settle into
- 0:14Speaker 1: these opening minutes of a new week, I want to
- 0:17Speaker 1: speak about three habits of character that keep people and
- 0:20Speaker 1: communities steady when the weather turns uncertain, honesty, courage, and loyalty.
- 0:26Speaker 1: These are not grand gestures reserved for history books. They
- 0:30Speaker 1: are the ordinary choices that decide whether a family, a workplace,
- 0:34Speaker 1: a town, or a larger shared life holds together or
- 0:37Speaker 1: slowly comes apart. Honesty is the foundation. It is the
- 0:43Speaker 1: daily refusal to say one thing when we mean another,
- 0:46Speaker 1: or to report events as we wish them to be
- 0:48Speaker 1: rather than as they are. In the small rooms of
- 0:51Speaker 1: ordinary life this looks unremarkable. Telling a customer the true
- 0:56Speaker 1: condition of a repair, admitting a mistake on a report
- 1:00Speaker 1: before it grows larger, correcting a story once we learn
- 1:03Speaker 1: it was incomplete. These acts cost something, time, pride, sometimes money,
- 1:09Speaker 1: or standing, yet they preserve the possibility of trust. When
- 1:13Speaker 1: honesty thins, every conversation becomes a calculation. Neighbors stop relying
- 1:19Speaker 1: on one another's word. Colleagues begin to watch for hidden motives.
- 1:25Speaker 1: The cost is not merely personal discomfort. It is the
- 1:29Speaker 1: gradual loss of the common ground on which any lasting
- 1:32Speaker 1: cooperation rests. Honesty does not demand perfection. It demands the
- 1:38Speaker 1: repeated preference for the accurate account over the convenient one.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Without that preference even the best intentions eventually fail, because
- 1:46Speaker 1: no one can build on a shifting foundation. Courage stands
- 1:50Speaker 1: next to honesty and makes it possible. Moral courage is
- 1:54Speaker 1: not the absence of fear, it is the decision to
- 1:56Speaker 1: act rightly while fear is still present. It appears most
- 2:01Speaker 1: often in quiet settings rather than dramatic ones. It is
- 2:05Speaker 1: the person who refuses to alter a record that no
- 2:08Speaker 1: supervisor will ever see. It is the colleague who speaks
- 2:12Speaker 1: a necessary correction in a meeting when silence would be safer.
- 2:16Speaker 1: It is the neighbor who holds a difficult boundary because
- 2:19Speaker 1: yielding would harm others later. These moments rarely bring applause.
- 2:24Speaker 1: They often bring isolation or inconvenience. Yet each one strengthens
- 2:30Speaker 1: the person who chooses it and, over time, the circle
- 2:33Speaker 1: around them. A community in which such choices are common
- 2:37Speaker 1: becomes harder to mislead and harder to pressure. A community
- 2:41Speaker 1: that abandons them discovers that the hard decisions have already
- 2:45Speaker 1: been made by whoever was willing to apply pressure. Courage
- 2:48Speaker 1: of this kind does not announce itself with speeches. It
- 2:52Speaker 1: simply declines to step aside when stepping aside would be easier.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Here loyalty means steady fidelity to people and to purposes
- 3:00Speaker 1: larger than the next advantage. It is not blind attachment
- 3:04Speaker 1: to a single person or a temporary mood. It is
- 3:08Speaker 1: the willingness to remain engaged with family, colleagues, neighbors, and
- 3:12Speaker 1: shared responsibilities even when the work is unglamorous, even when
- 3:16Speaker 1: results disappoint, even when criticism is required. True loyalty includes
- 3:21Speaker 1: the capacity to name what is wrong and still stay
- 3:24Speaker 1: to repair it. When loyalty collapses into mere tribal preference,
- 3:29Speaker 1: disagreement turns into enmity and ordinary cooperation becomes impossible. When
- 3:35Speaker 1: loyalty disappears altogether, people drift from one short-term convenience to
- 3:39Speaker 1: the next and the longer work of maintaining anything worthwhile
- 3:43Speaker 1: is left unfinished. The middle path, honest criticism joined to
- 3:48Speaker 1: continued commitment, is what allows relationships and institutions to weather
- 3:52Speaker 1: ordinary storms without fracturing or being abandoned. These three habits
- 3:58Speaker 1: reinforce one another. Honesty without courage remains unspoken. Courage without
- 4:04Speaker 1: honesty can become recklessness. Loyalty without either becomes empty allegiance.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Practiced together, they create a kind of quiet strength that
- 4:14Speaker 1: does not depend on perfect conditions. They allow people to
- 4:18Speaker 1: tell the truth, stand by it, and remain faithful to
- 4:21Speaker 1: one another long enough for good outcomes to appear. In
- 4:25Speaker 1: homes this looks like parents and children who correct one
- 4:28Speaker 1: another without withdrawing. In workplaces it looks like teams that
- 4:33Speaker 1: surface problems early and stay to solve them. In towns
- 4:37Speaker 1: it looks like neighbors who disagree on particulars yet continue
- 4:40Speaker 1: to maintain the common things that serve everyone, I challenge you,
- 4:44Speaker 1: as these 60 minutes unfold and the week continues, to
- 4:47Speaker 1: notice where these habits are already present and where they
- 4:50Speaker 1: need strengthening. Ask whether a difficult truth has been postponed
- 4:55Speaker 1: because the cost felt high. Ask whether a necessary stand
- 5:00Speaker 1: has been avoided because the room would grow quieter. Ask
- 5:03Speaker 1: whether a commitment has been set aside because a more
- 5:06Speaker 1: convenient path appeared. These questions are not reserved for exceptional circumstances.
- 5:13Speaker 1: They arise in ordinary Tuesdays and ordinary decisions. Answering them honestly,
- 5:19Speaker 1: and then acting, is how character is formed and how
- 5:21Speaker 1: shared life remains possible. The last Monday morning of October
- 5:25Speaker 1: will pass. Weather will change and the immediate concerns of
- 5:30Speaker 1: the day will claim attention. What will not pass is
- 5:33Speaker 1: the need for people who prefer the accurate to the convenient,
- 5:36Speaker 1: who act rightly while fear is still present, and who
- 5:39Speaker 1: remain loyal to the people and purposes that make ordinary
- 5:42Speaker 1: life worth sustaining. The course ahead is shaped less by
- 5:46Speaker 1: distant forces than by the accumulated choices of those who
- 5:50Speaker 1: keep these habits. Let us keep them. It's time for
- 5:54Speaker 1: me to take a short break, but when we come
- 5:56Speaker 1: back the return of the Lee play.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Am I the only one? Here tonight, shaking my head
- 6:05Speaker 2: and thinking something ain't right. Is it just me?
- 6:09Speaker 3: Am I losing my mind?
- 6:12Speaker 2: Am I standing on the edge of the end of time?
- 6:15Speaker 4: Am I the only one?
- 6:18Speaker 2: Tell me I'm not. Who thinks they're taking all the
- 6:23Speaker 2: good we got? I think I'm turning into my old man.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Am I the only one willing to bleed? Take a
- 6:41Speaker 2: bullet for being free. Screaming what the hell in my
- 6:47Speaker 2: TV for telling me, yeah, you're telling me that I'm
- 6:53Speaker 2: the only one willing to fight for my love of
- 6:59Speaker 2: the red.
- 6:59Speaker 4: And white and the blue.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Burning on the ground, another statue coming down in a town.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Watching the threads.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Of old glory come undone.
- 7:18Speaker 5: Am I the only.
- 7:19Speaker 2: One not brainwashed? Making my way through the land of
- 7:26Speaker 2: the lost. He sees it as it is and worries
- 7:29Speaker 2: about his kids as they try to undo all the
- 7:33Speaker 2: things he did. Am I the only one who can't
- 7:37Speaker 2: take no more screaming?
- 7:40Speaker 6: If you don't.
- 7:41Speaker 7: Like it, there's a freaking door.
- 7:44Speaker 2: This ain't the freedom we've been fighting for.
- 7:48Speaker 4: It was something more. Yeah, it was something more.
- 7:52Speaker 8: Am I the only one.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Willing to fight for my love of the.
- 7:59Speaker 4: Red and white and the blue?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Burning on the ground, another statue coming down in a
- 8:08Speaker 2: town near you. Watching the threads of old glory.
- 8:13Speaker 5: Come undone.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Not the only one.
- 8:25Speaker 2: I can't be the only one.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Am I the.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Only one who quits singing along every time.
- 8:41Speaker 3: They play a Springsteen song?
- 8:56Speaker 4: Am I the only one.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Sitting here Still holding on, holding back my tears For the.
- 9:06Speaker 4: Ones who paid with the.
- 9:08Speaker 9: Lives they gave God bless the USA I'm not the
- 9:14Speaker 9: only one willing to fight For my love of the red.
- 9:21Speaker 5: And white and the blue.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Burning on the ground another statue coming down in.
- 9:30Speaker 4: A town watching the threads.
- 9:33Speaker 7: Of old glory come undone.
- 9:40Speaker 5: I'm not the only one I can't be one.

- 20:10Speaker 21: Let's start off with looking at a little bit about
- 20:14Speaker 21: nonprofits in Connecticut. I've been doing some research to tie
- 20:19Speaker 21: in a few things that we're going to want to

- 20:25Speaker 21: we know, but did.
- 20:27Speaker 28: You realize, or listeners realized, The Internal Revenue Service lists

- 20:38Speaker 28: which are organizations you can.
- 20:40Speaker 21: Make a tax-deductible donation to.
- 20:43Speaker 37: These nonprofits reported roughly... $ 70 billion in revenue in their
- 21:05Speaker 37: 2024-25 filings. And what's interesting, which I think many of
- 21:12Speaker 37: us may realize, most of the hospitals in the state
- 21:16Speaker 37: of Connecticut are non-profits.
- 21:18Speaker 4: Correct.
- 21:19Speaker 21: If you can believe that. So if we... Eliminate the
- 21:26Speaker 21: big nonprofits, then we can look at something at an
- 21:28Speaker 21: organization like Yale University, which is technically a nonprofit, and
- 21:33Speaker 21: a few other organizations such as that. It's difficult to
- 21:38Speaker 21: actually get the figures as to how much the state
- 21:44Speaker 21: of Connecticut actually gives out to various nonprofits in the
- 21:49Speaker 21: state via Connecticut taxpayers' money. So... I believe very strongly,
- 21:56Speaker 21: we've talked about this before, if we really want to
- 22:01Speaker 21: address the affordability crisis in the state of Connecticut, I mean,
- 22:04Speaker 21: really try to address it, is there a way the
- 22:09Speaker 21: state could start investigating a little more clearly and a
- 22:13Speaker 21: little more closely where all this money that we really
- 22:18Speaker 21: don't know how much is actually going to these nonprofits
- 22:22Speaker 21: in the state What are they doing with the money?
- 22:25Speaker 21: Why are they spending it and where they're spending it,
- 22:28Speaker 21: so on and so forth? In other words, what programs
- 22:30Speaker 21: are they working on? What are they doing? What's going on?
- 22:36Speaker 21: And we've seen over the past couple of years some
- 22:38Speaker 21: major frauds take place with nonprofits and with money received
- 22:43Speaker 21: by these nonprofits, by the state of Connecticut, and from
- 22:47Speaker 21: their taxpayers. So what's going on with this? Why is
- 22:51Speaker 21: this not a major issue? And this campaign is something
- 22:56Speaker 21: I don't understand.
- 23:01Speaker 15: How can I put it? I've been around long enough
- 23:05Speaker 15: or perhaps too long to know that the only way
- 23:10Speaker 15: you're going to fix something like this is you've got
- 23:13Speaker 15: to take it to bare metal. I do tire of
- 23:17Speaker 15: people coming out and saying, well, We have, you know,
- 23:21Speaker 15: common sense reforms or proposals or earmarks or whatever the
- 23:25Speaker 15: case may be. And any kind of management, any kind
- 23:31Speaker 15: of stewardship, any kind of oversight is, like I was
- 23:34Speaker 15: looking the other night at, you know, drug addiction charities.
- 23:38Speaker 15: And I forget the number, but it's like it's a
- 23:42Speaker 15: staggering amount of drug addiction charities. Each one of them
- 23:47Speaker 15: has very highly compensated people at the top of these
- 23:52Speaker 15: charities and they're redundant they're doing again again again again
- 23:57Speaker 15: and it's to the point of well why can't there
- 24:02Speaker 15: be one or two or five because how many executive
- 24:07Speaker 15: directors do you need how many heads of data processing
- 24:12Speaker 15: do you need And it is, you know, like multi-millions
- 24:16Speaker 15: of dollars, but like, heck, you know, we've got computers
- 24:19Speaker 15: these days. We've got AI. You know, we've got spreadsheets.
- 24:24Speaker 15: And the idea is when you have, you know, the
- 24:27Speaker 15: second thing as far as control is concerned, the more
- 24:31Speaker 15: items there are that you're, quote, unquote, dealing with, the
- 24:36Speaker 15: greater the propensity is that there is going to be
- 24:39Speaker 15: some screw-up along the way because you can't police it all.
- 24:42Speaker 15: You don't know what they're all doing. You don't have
- 24:45Speaker 15: any sort of oversight. So I think to your point,
- 24:48Speaker 15: it's like it's either you've got to fix the damn thing,
- 24:52Speaker 15: you've got to take it to bare metal, you've got
- 24:54Speaker 15: to say, hey, look, you've got to be totally transparent
- 24:58Speaker 15: with what you're doing because it cuts maybe two ways
- 25:01Speaker 15: or three ways, as we discussed. It's like, number one,
- 25:05Speaker 15: Our lovely legislature made it to where nonprofit organizations– I
- 25:09Speaker 15: was unfortunately educating a young man on this the other
- 25:13Speaker 15: day because he was rightfully horrified. And this is a
- 25:17Speaker 15: very well-purposed young man who does journalism work on his
- 25:22Speaker 15: own and wants to report the truth. And I told him,
- 25:24Speaker 15: I said, you know Sal, not his real name. that
- 25:27Speaker 15: the legislature made it so we can't FOIA a nonprofit
- 25:32Speaker 15: with our money. That's one thing. And the other thing
- 25:36Speaker 15: is that what goes on in the nonprofit, again, advanced CT.
- 25:40Speaker 15: You know, we talk Democrat, Republican. We're in campaign season. Well,
- 25:43Speaker 15: guess what? Democrats and Republicans are there together doing something
- 25:47Speaker 15: in advanced CT. We don't know what the hell it is.
- 25:49Speaker 4: We have no idea.
- 25:50Speaker 15: You know, they're having meetings about public policy. We have
- 25:52Speaker 15: no idea. We have no thing. That's great. They're doing something.
- 25:55Speaker 15: cool with like international something or other. And the other
- 25:58Speaker 15: thing is, Bob, in this day and age, when you
- 26:03Speaker 15: can get stuff instantaneously, we don't have real-time dashboards. We
- 26:07Speaker 15: don't have, quote, unquote, a peep-eye into the future. And
- 26:13Speaker 15: to me, it's just this thing of, well, let's just
- 26:16Speaker 15: continue to do this. Let's just continue to raise people
- 26:19Speaker 15: on the high end. You want to go feed the hungry? Well,
- 26:23Speaker 15: you know, Connecticut Food Share, right? It's wonderful. You know,
- 26:27Speaker 15: Jason Jakubowski's making over $ 400, 000 a year. How do you
- 26:30Speaker 15: feel about that?
- 26:31Speaker 4: It's like, listen, I gave you 10 minutes.
- 26:35Speaker 21: It's a major problem, and it's a major issue. And
- 26:40Speaker 21: I agree with you to the extent that the amount
- 26:43Speaker 21: of duplication of services unknown to taxpayers.
- 26:47Speaker 28: So I'm a taxpayer.
- 26:49Speaker 21: I would like to know, okay, I'm paying X amount
- 26:52Speaker 21: of dollars in state income taxes, okay? I'm told there's
- 26:56Speaker 21: an affordability issue in the state of Connecticut. Yet I
- 26:59Speaker 21: find out the redundancy in many of these nonprofit organizations
- 27:05Speaker 21: reaches a point of no return so that it's a
- 27:09Speaker 21: cash cow. And is it a cash cow just to
- 27:13Speaker 21: pay off the politically connected? I really believe it in
- 27:17Speaker 21: a very, very large way that this is just an
- 27:20Speaker 21: extension of the Democratic Party and, to a certain extent,
- 27:23Speaker 21: the Republican Party, and that we have to pay back
- 27:25Speaker 21: our favors. We will create these nonprofits. You will have
- 27:29Speaker 21: your executive position at $ 110, 000, $ 120, 000, $ 400, 000. Pick a number
- 27:32Speaker 21: out of the sky. Whatever you want, you get. And
- 27:37Speaker 21: then with the rest of the money, you know, you
- 27:39Speaker 21: go forge for whatever... help you're going to give whoever,
- 27:44Speaker 21: the drug addict, the person who's starving, so on and
- 27:47Speaker 21: so forth. It's just so unjust. It's such a ripoff
- 27:53Speaker 21: of the Connecticut taxpayer. It's not even funny. And again,
- 27:57Speaker 21: here's the situation where taxpayers are being impacted in one
- 28:02Speaker 21: of the highest PAC states in the country, and yet
- 28:05Speaker 21: there is absolutely zero discussion on it. In the campaign,
- 28:09Speaker 21: with the exception of probably you and I talking about
- 28:12Speaker 21: it on the show right now.
- 28:14Speaker 15: I would believe that's correct. In my observation of the, hey,
- 28:19Speaker 15: let's do warts and all. In my observation of the
- 28:22Speaker 15: Fauzio campaign, I am interested and impressed with some of
- 28:29Speaker 15: the things. But you have this gaping hole, this gaping sore.
- 28:34Speaker 15: This gaping nonsense of, you know, what Ross Perot used
- 28:37Speaker 15: to talk about, the giant sucking sound. And all this
- 28:41Speaker 15: money is just going to all these things. We don't
- 28:44Speaker 15: know what the hell they're doing. We have no idea.
- 28:47Speaker 15: We don't know. And this is the whole thing. If
- 28:50Speaker 15: we're helping people, okay, yes, it is wrong to leave
- 28:54Speaker 15: those on the side of the road and just let them,
- 28:57Speaker 15: you know, just let them be there. But we seem
- 28:59Speaker 15: to have more of them. And you say, well, we're
- 29:01Speaker 15: spending more and we're getting more.
- 29:03Speaker 4: We're not.
- 29:04Speaker 15: What is the positive result from the additional spending? It's
- 29:09Speaker 15: very clearly going the other way. So then you've got
- 29:12Speaker 15: to say to yourself, Bob, hey, look, you know, I'm
- 29:14Speaker 15: spending more, I'm getting less. What is wrong with this picture?
- 29:18Speaker 15: We never have that analysis. What we do get is, oh,
- 29:22Speaker 15: we don't want to stop people from being helped. No,
- 29:26Speaker 15: we don't. But who are we helping? That's really my
- 29:29Speaker 15: whole thing.
- 29:30Speaker 21: Well, we don't. We don't know who we're helping because
- 29:33Speaker 21: it's not disclosed, number one. Number two, is there any
- 29:37Speaker 21: parallel and is there any direct correlation? between the amount
- 29:41Speaker 21: of money being spent on nonprofits in the state of
- 29:44Speaker 21: Connecticut for duplication of services that is adding to the
- 29:48Speaker 21: state unfunded short and long-term debt of $ 100 to $ 150 billion?
- 29:53Speaker 21: That's just a simplistic question to ask in this campaign.
- 29:58Speaker 21: Can any candidate tell me or tell any taxpayer in
- 30:02Speaker 21: the state of Connecticut, okay, I think we're overspending on nonprofits.
- 30:06Speaker 21: I think we really need to have a Department of
- 30:08Speaker 21: Governmental Efficiency for the state of Connecticut to start to
- 30:12Speaker 21: examine all these different nonprofits, all these different departments, all
- 30:18Speaker 21: these different spending schemes that seem to just come out
- 30:21Speaker 21: of nowhere. We need to start examining them because maybe...
- 30:27Speaker 21: This is contributing to the excessive amount of spending of
- 30:32Speaker 21: $ 28 billion a year in a state budget that the
- 30:35Speaker 21: state of Connecticut spends. It could be, possibly, Tony, could
- 30:41Speaker 21: be possibly causing why the state has one of the
- 30:44Speaker 21: highest tax rates in the country, taxation in the country,
- 30:48Speaker 21: why you're spending so much and why your debt is
- 30:50Speaker 21: so high. Can anybody rationally understand that? That statement I
- 30:56Speaker 21: just made, I really.
- 30:57Speaker 38: Would like to know.
- 31:00Speaker 15: It would stand to reason that if a, you know,
- 31:06Speaker 15: if you want to go Old Testament, be it declared
- 31:08Speaker 15: and decreed that here and after forever, you do not
- 31:12Speaker 15: get one red plug nickel for your nonprofit unless you
- 31:16Speaker 15: agree to real-time disclosure of full-time monitoring and show everybody
- 31:24Speaker 15: what you're doing. And why should you get anything? This
- 31:29Speaker 15: is me. This is the standard I'm held to every
- 31:32Speaker 15: single day. And I say, well, if little old me
- 31:34Speaker 15: could be held to this standard, why can't the freaking government? Like,
- 31:39Speaker 15: if you can't account for every single thing that you're doing,
- 31:42Speaker 15: why do you deserve anything? When I looked at the
- 31:45Speaker 15: tax returns, I probably was the first person, not that
- 31:50Speaker 15: this makes me wonderful, but it's the first place I look,
- 31:53Speaker 15: when they started dissecting the tax returns of Blue Hill
- 31:57Speaker 15: Civic and some of these other things, the Yukon Foundation, gee,
- 32:00Speaker 15: what is a $ 90 million investment in the Horse Barn
- 32:03Speaker 15: Hill Investment Fund doing in the Cayman Islands? Oh, that's
- 32:06Speaker 15: just something they invested in a bunch of horses carrying on.
- 32:09Speaker 15: You know, and it's like, well, When you've got 70%
- 32:13Speaker 15: to 80% of your whatever you want to call it,
- 32:17Speaker 15: your vig, your take, whatever it is, administrative, salary, and
- 32:23Speaker 15: all the other stuff, and all the whatever you want
- 32:26Speaker 15: to say, the other benefits that you're getting, 25% of
- 32:28Speaker 15: that maybe is reaching you. The people that are there,
- 32:32Speaker 15: you're way off the charity navigator barometers. And it's like, hey,
- 32:38Speaker 15: you know, which is the operative question, Bob? Okay, I'm
- 32:42Speaker 15: holding my hand up to the people on Rumble Hall.
- 32:45Speaker 15: If you're going to, if we're going to clean house
- 32:48Speaker 15: in Connecticut government, because we need our house cleaned. um
- 32:52Speaker 15: what is going to change there what will the world
- 32:55Speaker 15: change there why can't we say we're going to have
- 32:57Speaker 15: a brand new day we're going to have sunlight you
- 32:59Speaker 15: know sunlight is the best disinfectant and we're going to
- 33:02Speaker 15: clean the whole thing out because we ain't going to
- 33:04Speaker 15: be saving anything if we're just pouring money down holes
- 33:07Speaker 15: to these redundant salaries to these things to these people
- 33:09Speaker 15: that do and the sad thing is the people aren't
- 33:13Speaker 15: getting help now Other people will say that the, how
- 33:18Speaker 15: can I put it, this whole thing is, I had
- 33:22Speaker 15: a very good discussion about this with actually Betsy McCoy,
- 33:25Speaker 15: and she said, you know, this is really a way
- 33:27Speaker 15: of feeding your cronies and basically buying votes because your
- 33:30Speaker 15: cronies can hire more people. And, I mean, she was there.
- 33:33Speaker 15: She's absolutely right. But it's like, hey, you know, this
- 33:39Speaker 15: just is, what's proposed is not enough, and it's not
- 33:43Speaker 15: helping anybody.
- 33:45Speaker 21: And to your point, I agree 110% with what you're saying.
- 33:50Speaker 21: Let's look at food insecurity in the state of Connecticut,
- 33:54Speaker 21: and let's look at drug addiction in the state of Connecticut.
- 33:58Speaker 21: I really don't see a great improvement in the amount
- 34:02Speaker 21: of demand that people in the state theoretically have for
- 34:08Speaker 21: free food. Okay, so there's something inherently wrong with your economy.
- 34:14Speaker 21: your state economy, to have this many people needing food
- 34:18Speaker 21: assistance on a regular basis, nothing ever changes with it.
- 34:23Speaker 21: The programs get expanded more and more, and like you say,
- 34:28Speaker 21: there's no resolution to the problem. Drug addiction is the
- 34:31Speaker 21: same problem, the same issue. You're not reading about it
- 34:35Speaker 21: as much in the state-run media because they can cover it,
- 34:42Speaker 21: But at the same time, a major issue in addressing.
- 34:47Speaker 21: You're going to throw more money in it. Let's create
- 34:49Speaker 21: a couple more nonprofits. Let's get more food out to
- 34:52Speaker 21: people because they need it. Well, okay, why do they
- 34:55Speaker 21: need that food? What is the inherent problem? Is it
- 34:58Speaker 21: a lack of jobs? Is it an affordability crisis because
- 35:02Speaker 21: taxes are too high? So on and so forth.
- 35:06Speaker 4: What's the problem?
- 35:07Speaker 21: I'd like an answer. to what the actual problem is
- 35:11Speaker 21: and what you are doing, government is doing to resolve it,
- 35:15Speaker 21: not just like, well, we have this, this, and this,
- 35:17Speaker 21: and that's it. Okay, well, so what are the results?
- 35:22Speaker 28: It's really problematic.
- 35:23Speaker 21: And again, to me, it was a golden opportunity this
- 35:26Speaker 21: entire campaign on both sides of the aisle to dialogue
- 35:30Speaker 21: this nonstop. Find out why is Connecticut in the economic
- 35:36Speaker 21: doldrums that it's in? Why are so many people in
- 35:39Speaker 21: need in the state? I thought the Democrats were advertising
- 35:43Speaker 21: left and right, how great the state is, how economically
- 35:47Speaker 21: vibrant the state is, how, you know, people are dying
- 35:50Speaker 21: to get into the state.
- 35:52Speaker 39: Come on.
- 35:54Speaker 21: What goes? You know, what is truth here? Or are
- 35:58Speaker 21: the lies the truth again, and truth are lies? It's
- 36:01Speaker 21: more like that in my opinion.
- 36:03Speaker 15: I want to see a citizen doge. And I'm sure
- 36:06Speaker 15: people are, you know, I'm sure tires are squealing off
- 36:09Speaker 15: the freeway and coffee cups are flying and that sort
- 36:12Speaker 15: of thing. But it's like, I look at it twofold.
- 36:15Speaker 15: Number one, it's our money. And number two, could citizens
- 36:20Speaker 15: possibly screw it up any worse than politicians had? I mean,
- 36:24Speaker 15: it's like, okay, I want to declare myself as, you know, whatever,
- 36:28Speaker 15: Grand High Mystic Exalted Ruler of the state of Connecticut. One,
- 36:33Speaker 15: a period of time, put it all out there. Let
- 36:36Speaker 15: us all see it. Let us all report. Give us
- 36:39Speaker 15: a way to report. I mean, it's like you want
- 36:43Speaker 15: it fixed. This is what you had to do. Why
- 36:45Speaker 15: do we keep fighting fires with a water pistol? This
- 36:48Speaker 15: is my contribution.
- 36:49Speaker 5: In the morning.
- 36:50Speaker 21: Well, the issue of a citizen's doge is that it's
- 36:56Speaker 21: going to be damning to the Democratic Party, it's going
- 36:59Speaker 21: to be damning to the Republican Party, it's going to
- 37:01Speaker 21: be damning to those politically connected in the state. It's
- 37:06Speaker 21: going to really open taxpayers' eyes and say, why the
- 37:11Speaker 21: heck are we spending money on this or that or
- 37:14Speaker 21: this or that? What is wrong with these people? And
- 37:17Speaker 21: I think that's the biggest fear of any elected official,
- 37:22Speaker 21: is to really examine, tear apart, Line by line, dollar
- 37:28Speaker 21: by dollar, where does the state come up with spending
- 37:32Speaker 21: $ 28 billion a year? Where does the state come up
- 37:36Speaker 21: with increasing spending by an excessive 400% since the state
- 37:41Speaker 21: income tax? And what is being shown for all this spending?
- 37:48Speaker 21: You're in the bottom feeder for business development. You're one
- 37:51Speaker 21: of the highest taxed states in the country. You've got
- 37:53Speaker 21: social problems galore. You've got a crime problem that's unyielding.
- 37:59Speaker 21: And what are you showing with all this spending? So
- 38:02Speaker 21: the citizens group, in my opinion, would probably do a
- 38:07Speaker 21: heck of a better job than any state agency trying
- 38:09Speaker 21: to govern itself, number one. And number two, it would
- 38:13Speaker 21: really show and probably put in very, very basic verbiage
- 38:20Speaker 21: so that it's very understandable to the taxpayer This money's
- 38:23Speaker 21: going for this. This nonprofit is using 90% of the
- 38:27Speaker 21: state money for administrative costs. Only 10 cents on every
- 38:31Speaker 21: dollar they get actually goes to the problem they're trying
- 38:34Speaker 21: to resolve. The taxpayer then says, okay, why are we
- 38:38Speaker 21: spending this much money? What's the point of it? The
- 38:42Speaker 21: problem's not getting corrected. What, are we just in the
- 38:46Speaker 21: business to employ politically connected people? Is that what nonprofits
- 38:50Speaker 21: are developed for in the state of Connecticut. And again,
- 38:55Speaker 21: don't get me wrong, there are many, many legitimate nonprofits
- 38:58Speaker 21: in the state of Connecticut that actually do their job
- 39:01Speaker 21: and are helping the people or the groups they're trying
- 39:05Speaker 21: to help, so on and so forth. But again, why
- 39:09Speaker 21: does the head of Connecticut Food Bank, in a state
- 39:12Speaker 21: that supposedly we just hear about food insecurity, food insecurity,
- 39:17Speaker 21: and he's making over $ 400, 000 a year?
- 39:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 39:20Speaker 38: Oh, you've got to be kidding me.
- 39:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:24Speaker 7: And this is the whole thing.
- 39:26Speaker 15: Delivery in any kind of business, I don't care what
- 39:29Speaker 15: you're in, if you're in manufacturing, you're in service, you're
- 39:32Speaker 15: in government, how is success measured? Success is measured by
- 39:36Speaker 15: delivery of the good product to the end user. Let's
- 39:42Speaker 15: just say this was the beloved domestic automobile companies, and
- 39:48Speaker 15: if I had great administrative processes and great manufacturing and
- 39:52Speaker 15: great research and whatever, but if I can't get a
- 39:55Speaker 15: working vehicle to the guy at the end who needs
- 39:58Speaker 15: a damn truck so he can go to work, what
- 40:00Speaker 15: the hell good is it, frankly? That's my point.
- 40:04Speaker 21: And again, that is the point to try to really
- 40:08Speaker 21: pick apart finally and say, you're not doing your job.
- 40:11Speaker 21: This nonprofit is nonfunctional. This nonprofit is politically, it's just
- 40:16Speaker 21: a political connection and that's it. And why are we
- 40:20Speaker 21: supporting it? We're supporting it because we have to, because
- 40:23Speaker 21: that's the rule of the Connecticut political system. And that's
- 40:30Speaker 21: what's inherently wrong with our state budget and our state
- 40:34Speaker 21: government right now. So since Doge comes in and really
- 40:39Speaker 21: opens the eyes of a lot of people on both
- 40:41Speaker 21: sides and opens the eyes of the independent voter at
- 40:45Speaker 21: the same time and say, hey, why are we doing this?
- 40:47Speaker 21: This doesn't make any sense.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Thank you, Bob and Tony. My time this morning is over.
- 40:56Speaker 1: If I'm lucky, I might get the chance to talk
- 40:58Speaker 1: to you again on Friday. Until then, have a great week.

- 43:51Speaker 25: Bernie Sanders campaigning for El-Sayed yesterday slammed those words as
- 43:55Speaker 25: racist attacks. As President Trump campaigns across the country, he's
- 43:59Speaker 25: urged Americans to.
- 44:00Speaker 7: Vote as if he were on the ballot.
- 44:02Speaker 25: That's where he says he and El-Sayed agree.
- 44:05Speaker 13: Donald Trump is on the ballot.
- 44:09Speaker 7: Donald Trump's war in Iran is on the ballot.
- 44:12Speaker 6: Your gas prices are on the ballot.
- 44:14Speaker 43: Well, the president again said at that rally in Michigan
- 44:16Speaker 43: that higher gas.
- 44:17Speaker 15: Prices are a smaller price to pay.
- 44:19Speaker 16: The number one.
- 44:20Speaker 44: State sponsor of terror is Iran by far, and you

- 44:45Speaker 26: The war in Yemen and strikes by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels

- 47:27Speaker 16: We are looking to add to our amazing team.

- 47:47Speaker 16: 30 years.
- 47:50Speaker 49: The cost of living in Connecticut is simply too high.
- 47:53Speaker 49: That's why we need real leaders like State Senator Heather
- 47:56Speaker 49: Summers fighting for hardworking families. Heather Summers stands up to
- 48:00Speaker 49: the broken politics of Hartford and does the hard work
- 48:03Speaker 49: that delivers results for Eastern Connecticut communities. Heather cut taxes
- 48:07Speaker 49: on Social Security, retirement income, and diesel fuel. She's led
- 48:11Speaker 49: the fight to stop Hartford tax hikes that increase our costs,
- 48:15Speaker 49: including exposing a scheme to hike taxes on farmland earlier
- 48:19Speaker 49: this year. And with Connecticut families straining under out-of-control energy prices,
- 48:24Speaker 49: Heather Summers is fighting to eliminate the public benefits charge
- 48:27Speaker 49: on electric bills. Some candidates talk a big game, but
- 48:31Speaker 49: never do the work. Heather Summers shows up every time,
- 48:34Speaker 49: delivering results for eastern Connecticut, challenging the status quo in Hartford,
- 48:39Speaker 49: and fighting for lower costs for Connecticut families.
- 48:42Speaker 50: I'm Heather Summers, candidate for state senate, and I approve
- 48:45Speaker 50: this message.
- 48:46Speaker 49: Paid for by Summers for state senate. Constantine Antipas, treasurer.
- 48:49Speaker 32: Good morning, I'm Sean Murphy.
- 48:54Speaker 51: Sunshine today with a high around 65.
- 48:56Speaker 34: A Norwich man awarded $ 1. 5 million for wrongful incarceration in
- 49:02Speaker 34: a 2001 Groton fail shooting case is now in federal
- 49:06Speaker 34: custody on drug charges. 53-year-old Michael Smith was indicted October
- 49:12Speaker 34: 20th for allegedly possessing more than 5 kilograms of cocaine
- 49:16Speaker 34: with intent to distribute. A multi-vehicle crash. involving two motorcycles
- 49:21Speaker 34: and a car temporarily closed Interstate 95 northbound near exit
- 49:26Speaker 34: 70 in Old Limes Saturday evening. The car's driver suffered
- 49:30Speaker 34: non-life-threatening injuries while both motorcyclists fled the scene.
- 49:34Speaker 11: State police are investigating.
- 49:37Speaker 34: Jewett City firefighters responded to a brush fire that spread
- 49:40Speaker 34: to two sheds on Lily Pond Road around 1 p.m.
- 49:44Speaker 11: Sunday.
- 49:45Speaker 34: Crews from four neighboring fire departments assisted in extinguishing the
- 49:50Speaker 34: flames and no injuries were reported. Norwich Police Detective Scott
- 49:54Speaker 34: DuPont received the Medal of Valor Friday for his bravery
- 49:58Speaker 34: during a 2021 shooting in in which 18 bullets struck
- 50:02Speaker 34: his patrol SUV. Other officers and staff were also honored
- 50:06Speaker 34: at City Hall. The Hockington Town Council recently voted to
- 50:10Speaker 34: ban data centers in all zoning districts following a public
- 50:14Speaker 34: hearing on their potential impacts. The amendment formally denies data
- 50:18Speaker 34: centers and prohibits their development townwide.
- 50:23Speaker 11: I'm Sean Murphy. When news breaks, we break in.
- 50:39Speaker 4: And good morning, audience. Good morning. This is Rocky coming
- 50:43Speaker 4: to you live. This glorious... Wait a minute. Let me
- 50:46Speaker 4: think about it. It's not Saturday morning. It's Monday morning,
- 50:50Speaker 4: October the 26th. And folks, if you hear my voice
- 50:54Speaker 4: a little rugged, it's because... In the last couple of days,
- 50:59Speaker 4: I was yelling on top of my lungs for a friend,
- 51:05Speaker 4: a good guy, for his campaign. I don't know if
- 51:11Speaker 4: we can say the name, but I am 100% Team 20,
- 51:15Speaker 4: except I can't vote for him. But having known him
- 51:21Speaker 4: for over, I want to say maybe almost 20 years,
- 51:27Speaker 4: Having known his family, he's a good man. And he is,
- 51:36Speaker 4: let's put it this way, he's much more generous than
- 51:41Speaker 4: I would be. He's a really open person, lets people speak.
- 51:50Speaker 4: So anyways, Team 20 all the way. our good friend,
- 51:54Speaker 4: the voice of freedom, which, by the way, apparently the
- 51:59Speaker 4: opponent hates freedom. You mean to tell me I came
- 52:05Speaker 4: from another continent, another culture, another weather pattern? I mean,
- 52:12Speaker 4: if you've been to Naples, Italy, you know, we can
- 52:16Speaker 4: go to the beach. I went in the water when
- 52:18Speaker 4: I was a young man in November. November. I came
- 52:24Speaker 4: all the way to the United States to speak a
- 52:27Speaker 4: foreign language to not have freedom? Is that even conceivable? Oh,
- 52:34Speaker 4: because freedom is chaos. It's chaos. I said it in Italian.
- 52:40Speaker 4: Chaos is in Italian.
- 52:42Speaker 7: Chaos.
- 52:45Speaker 4: It's biblical. If you read the scripture, the scripture will...
- 52:53Speaker 4: Jesus will set you free. Set me free. Freedom. It
- 52:59Speaker 4: should be our core belief in any elected official or
- 53:04Speaker 4: anybody that's running for office that does not believe in freedom.
- 53:08Speaker 4: They're not fit to be in charge of anything. That's
- 53:13Speaker 4: my opinion. How we doing? How we starting off? It's
- 53:19Speaker 4: only a couple minutes. Hang in there. Two hours. It
- 53:24Speaker 4: was a last-minute ask, and as I mentioned many times,
- 53:29Speaker 4: when a friend all my life, not just in this case,
- 53:32Speaker 4: but all my life, if a friend asks for a favor,
- 53:37Speaker 4: and I can do it. Now, if I can't do it,
- 53:39Speaker 4: I say, I'm sorry, I can't. But if I am
- 53:42Speaker 4: asked to do a favor, and I can do it,
- 53:45Speaker 4: I am there, and that's it. There is no accounting there. Yeah,
- 53:52Speaker 4: but I did you a favor. Now you owe me
- 53:53Speaker 4: a favor. Never.
- 53:54Speaker 52: Never.
- 53:56Speaker 22: Why?
- 53:56Speaker 4: Because God is in control. If I can do something good,
- 54:02Speaker 4: do it. If you can, just do it. Forget about it.
- 54:07Speaker 4: It's not forgotten. Believe me. Talking about friends and favors,
- 54:11Speaker 4: this is not the case of a favor, but my
- 54:13Speaker 4: good friend Paolo said, We are from the same town.
- 54:19Speaker 4: That is a remarkable, again, another coincidence. My friend Paolo
- 54:25Speaker 4: on Columbus Day had major, major surgery. I'm not going
- 54:29Speaker 4: to go into details. But just a few days ago,
- 54:32Speaker 4: we spoke.
- 54:33Speaker 7: He's home.
- 54:35Speaker 4: Amazing. He's probably six months younger than I. So things
- 54:41Speaker 4: at our age happen. By the way, something happened to me.
- 54:46Speaker 4: Don't you cry. It's all good. It's all good. We're
- 54:54Speaker 4: part of God's plan. So, of course, with Roberto, Luigi, Pasquale,
- 55:02Speaker 4: we're all from the same little town. Well, outskirts of Naples.
- 55:08Speaker 4: So he was at Yale New Haven for a couple weeks.
- 55:10Speaker 4: We went there a couple of times, or at least
- 55:12Speaker 4: I have. They've probably been there more often. But it's
- 55:18Speaker 4: a thrill to know that you go through this major,
- 55:22Speaker 4: major something and you're back home and you're on the amend.
- 55:28Speaker 4: So my shout out to Paolo, my good friend. And
- 55:36Speaker 4: we'll start. We'll have to hang out again soon. So
- 55:40Speaker 4: what shall we talk about? By the way, call in, 860-464-9490.
- 55:45Speaker 4: Or send an email, rockyradioshow at gmail.com. When there's sign
- 56:00Speaker 4: waving and stuff, most of the conservative are very well-mannered,
- 56:07Speaker 4: very composed. Yes, they smile, they wave, but here comes Rocky.
- 56:14Speaker 4: And I was just, I'm loud. I'm proud. And I
- 56:21Speaker 4: have a big mouth. I was born with it. And
- 56:26Speaker 4: I whistle all the time. They used to call me
- 56:28Speaker 4: Whistle on ships. I can whistle a whole opera.
- 56:36Speaker 53: Oh, no.
- 56:38Speaker 28: Can you?
- 56:39Speaker 54: Yes.
- 56:40Speaker 4: Something is fidgety.
- 56:48Speaker 16: Are you there?
- 56:48Speaker 4: Am I on? Okay, we're having a little dispute with
- 56:53Speaker 4: the microphone.
- 56:54Speaker 7: Folks, it's all good.
- 56:57Speaker 4: Please, nobody's perfect. Are you all perfect? Because I ain't.
- 57:01Speaker 4: I ain't perfect. Raise your hands if you're perfect. Oh,
- 57:07Speaker 4: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to I don't mean to
- 57:10Speaker 4: put in question Carla Marks. Can I say Carla Marks?
- 57:16Speaker 4: Or is that— is Carla Marks saying Carla Marks is more
- 57:19Speaker 4: offensive than calling a good man an honorable man, a
- 57:23Speaker 4: family man, call him an a-hole?
- 57:27Speaker 7: Is it?
- 57:27Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't use that kind of— even when
- 57:31Speaker 4: I blast the elected official in Norwich, I have never
- 57:37Speaker 4: been so disrespectful.
- 57:40Speaker 8: Never.
- 57:42Speaker 4: That's really rude.
- 57:45Speaker 21: And....
- 57:51Speaker 16: And, uh.
- 57:52Speaker 4: So, anyways, I have my style, and let's go just
- 57:56Speaker 4: to calm me down, and I can... Yes, coach, you're...
- 57:59Speaker 4: Good morning, you're on the air.
- 58:01Speaker 55: Rock, I'm at the gym fighting a never-ending battle against
- 58:04Speaker 55: Mama Luke's, Grenudes, and Incantats.
- 58:08Speaker 8: But I heard you, and I wanted to comment... Now,
- 58:11Speaker 8: did you see that story about the guy from Norwich,
- 58:13Speaker 8: the drug dealer?
- 58:15Speaker 4: No, I didn't see it.
- 58:15Speaker 55: He got caught with 25 pounds of cocaine.
- 58:18Speaker 7: Wow.
- 58:19Speaker 21: Previous to that, he'd been.
- 58:20Speaker 8: On trial for manslaughter.
- 58:21Speaker 55: He got off on a technicality.
- 58:24Speaker 8: You know what?
- 58:24Speaker 55: If you read the story in the paper.
- 58:28Speaker 4: Which I don't.
- 58:29Speaker 8: The guy was guilty, and he got.
- 58:32Speaker 38: Of course.
- 58:32Speaker 55: On some minuscule or obscure.
- 58:37Speaker 8: That guy ought to be in jail.
- 58:38Speaker 55: He shouldn't have the chance to be out.
- 58:41Speaker 4: So what are you saying? The only business that's flourishing
- 58:45Speaker 4: in Norwich is 25 pounds of cocaine?
- 58:48Speaker 55: Yeah, can you imagine rocking out two pounds, 25 pounds
- 58:50Speaker 55: of cocaine?
- 58:51Speaker 4: Wow. How much is that worth, do you know? Hundreds
- 58:56Speaker 4: of thousands.
- 58:57Speaker 21: Millions. Wow.
- 58:58Speaker 55: And you know what? Whoever his supplier was, he's probably
- 59:03Speaker 55: safer in jail because they'll probably go after him.
- 59:05Speaker 8: Wow.
- 59:07Speaker 4: No, I didn't read it.
- 59:08Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 59:09Speaker 4: But so you're... But listen.
- 59:11Speaker 8: Yes.
- 59:11Speaker 28: I'm starting to move it.
- 59:12Speaker 27: Yeah.
- 59:13Speaker 8: I'm supposed to chat to move it. We want you
- 59:16Speaker 8: back on.
- 59:16Speaker 55: The air full time.
- 59:18Speaker 8: Not two hours.
- 59:19Speaker 27: Wow.
- 59:20Speaker 55: You know, Sal, he's a paisan, Sal Sinardi, you know,
- 59:22Speaker 55: good guy.
- 59:23Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah.
- 59:24Speaker 4: We need.
- 59:24Speaker 8: He's from Plainfield. Nothing against Plainfield, but... We want to
- 59:28Speaker 8: rock for the whole three hours.
- 59:30Speaker 4: Coach, just be careful what you ask for because I
- 59:33Speaker 4: am talking to John Fuller something in the evening maybe because,
- 59:38Speaker 4: you know, our good pal is doing great. By the way,
- 59:42Speaker 4: next week, I believe it's next Wednesday maybe. Folks, are
- 59:46Speaker 4: we going to throw a party or something next Wednesday?
- 59:50Speaker 4: Please be prepared to call the number because somebody, some
- 59:55Speaker 4: good guy is going to be back on the air
- 59:59Speaker 4: One way.
- 59:59Speaker 16: Or the other.
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: Listen, Rock, I want you to talk to my doctor.
- 1:00:03Speaker 55: Emilio Tumaselli.
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:00:06Speaker 55: He says he probably ought to take a couple shots
- 1:00:08Speaker 55: of grappa for that throat of yours.
- 1:00:09Speaker 21: You'll be all right.
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: You know what? That'd be a great idea.
- 1:00:13Speaker 55: A couple shots of grappa, maybe some soup with the
- 1:00:16Speaker 55: passatellis in it.
- 1:00:17Speaker 35: Yeah.
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: But you take care of yourself.
- 1:00:19Speaker 13: All right.
- 1:00:19Speaker 36: Thank you.
- 1:00:21Speaker 55: If you see the former host.
- 1:00:24Speaker 8: Yes. Give him my regards.
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: Thank you, Coach. Always a pleasure. Coach Leo Facchini. I
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: don't know why they get Fuccini, but it's Facchini. Trust me.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: I speak Italian. So, folks. Wow. I was just informed
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: that 25 pounds of cocaine is worth $ 300, 000.
- 1:00:54Speaker 27: Wow.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: Norwich is rich. What am I complaining about? Maybe this
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: guy should be on the council because at least he's
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: got something to sell for 300 grand. You got to
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: be kidding me. Folks, it can't get worse. It can't.
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: We can't. We are subjects to shenanigans that are so.
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: Unbelievable unacceptable they are in charge and they mess everything
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: they touch including our illustrious governor he's another beauty everything
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: is great everything is great Connecticut is great did you
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: feel the cold this morning I did It's cold and
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: we're holding on, holding off, turning the heat on. You
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: understand these people should be ashamed of themselves. They are
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: in charge time after time after time and we are
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: struggling and they don't care. So when somebody not totally
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: connected to a political party one way or the other
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: runs for office like I did four years ago, exactly
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: four years ago. Guess what? The machine, even the Republican machine,
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: are not that excited because guess what? I'm going to
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: predict something. By the grace of God, if number 20 wins,
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: within a few months, they're not going to like him.
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: Ha ha ha!
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: They're not going to like him because they're going to say,
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: you're going to start saying this. You should say that.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: You got to be there.
- 1:02:59Speaker 21: You got to.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: Go along with this.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: And he ain't going to do it. Trust me, he's not.
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: I still wish him well, and I wish him a win,
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: but I know the man. And if you give him
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: a whole bunch of compliments, he's not going to be
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: like a little weenie in Norwich, Connecticut or New London.
- 1:03:29Speaker 52: He's not.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: It's not working. It's not going to work. Oh, and
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: if you want to bribe him with food and drinks,
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: he don't eat either.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: I've been to parties with the, you know, 94.9 crowd.
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: He doesn't drink. He doesn't eat. When we have these 94.9,
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: we had them in the past, and many of you listener,
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: I've been to one of these parties. Where's the food?
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: I go there right away. So hang on. Hang on
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: to your seat, political machine. You know all those beautiful
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: creative AI designs that he's lifting the wall, a brick,
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: a humongous structure with people on it? Yeah, that's the idea.
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: I love it. Let me put it this way. If
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: number 20 wins, most likely we're going to move to Eastline.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Because what's the point? I'm almost not welcomed in Norwich.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: Having been there since I came to Italy. Look how
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: God's in his majestic design. From Naples, Italy to Norwich, Connecticut.
- 1:04:50Speaker 27: Yeah.
- 1:04:51Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: God, the almighty God, has a sense of humor. He
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: looked at me one day and said, oh, you think
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: you're cute?
- 1:05:00Speaker 16: Oh, sure.
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: Officer's uniform on a cruise ship? Don't worry. I got
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: a place for you. Norwich, Connecticut. I've been all over
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: the world. I sailed five of the seven seas. And Norwich,
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: Connecticut is my landing place. Oh, well, let's take a,
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: we should, we're going to take a break. Folks, we'll
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: be right back.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: There were nights I sat in the dark alone With
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: a heart so heavy it felt like stone Trying to
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: smile when I was falling apart.
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: Holding together a shattered heart.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: I had pain I never knew how to say.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: So I carried it deeper every day.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: And the more I fought just to stay okay, the
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: more it felt like I was slipping away.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: Bills on the table, fear in my chest. Too much pressure,
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: too little rest.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: I kept telling everybody I'd be fine while quietly losing
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: my mind.
- 1:06:19Speaker 21: And I swear there were moments I was done.
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: Too tired to fight, too weak to run.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: But right when I thought I'd hit the.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: End, God stepped in again when I had no strength
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: left in these hands. When I couldn't even understand how
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: I was still breathing through the ache.
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: That's when I knew.

- 1:09:49Speaker 35: In michigan tonight we're doing so many great rallies. I
- 1:09:54Speaker 35: think we're going to surprise so many people. We're going
- 1:09:56Speaker 35: to win like nobody's ever seen before. We're asking Ethan
- 1:10:00Speaker 35: Musk to use his Starman, you know, and his Tulsa
- 1:10:07Speaker 35: and all his companies to do great things for our voting,
- 1:10:11Speaker 35: for our people, for our machines, our great voting machines.
- 1:10:14Speaker 35: But Tonight I was like, it's Michigan, and I think
- 1:10:18Speaker 35: people in Michigan, they don't like how much I've been
- 1:10:19Speaker 35: talking about John Husted's beautiful, gorgeous, round, shapely, muscular ass.
- 1:10:26Speaker 35: And so Michigan tonight has come out with the lovely
- 1:10:30Speaker 35: and the beautiful, and I'm totally not racist because she's
- 1:10:34Speaker 35: a black, Nicki Minaj. Nicki Minaj. Hello. Minaj a toi?
- 1:10:40Speaker 35: That's Spanish for give me a number three meal. But
- 1:10:45Speaker 35: she is a beauty. She's a strong Trump supporter. And
- 1:10:49Speaker 35: she's got some derriere on her. That'll give John Husted
- 1:10:54Speaker 35: a run for his money in terms of ass. You know,
- 1:10:56Speaker 35: I was talking to an administrative assistant of war. He
- 1:11:00Speaker 35: doesn't like secretary because it's feminine, but a very straight, powerful,
- 1:11:05Speaker 35: heterosexual Christian, Pete Hegseth, great warrior. And we were both
- 1:11:12Speaker 35: admiring him. Nicki Minaj, it was booty. The blacks for Trump,
- 1:11:17Speaker 35: they say, you got to say booty, sir. You got
- 1:11:19Speaker 35: to say booty. And I said, you know, Melatonin's son, Barton,
- 1:11:23Speaker 35: he's a kid. He likes pirates booty. And I said, well, that's,
- 1:11:27Speaker 35: you know, it's the LGBTQK and BA2K26. And they said, no, sir,
- 1:11:35Speaker 35: it's a snack. It's a snack. It's not, he doesn't
- 1:11:39Speaker 35: actually go have sexual intercourse. relations with the booties of pirates.
- 1:11:44Speaker 35: And I said, okay, well, just check.
- 1:11:45Speaker 8: You know, you've got to check.
- 1:11:46Speaker 35: You don't know what the schools are teaching. You send
- 1:11:49Speaker 35: your kid to school, he's a straight kid eating snacks.
- 1:11:51Speaker 35: The next thing you know, all these schools run by
- 1:11:54Speaker 35: left-wing radical lunatics are bringing in pirates right from the ship,
- 1:11:59Speaker 35: and they're bending over and saying, eat my booty. And
- 1:12:02Speaker 35: you have to do it. You have to do it.
- 1:12:04Speaker 35: That's what they make you do in the radical left schools.
- 1:12:07Speaker 35: But Hegstaff and I, we both looked at Nicki Minaj
- 1:12:11Speaker 35: as Powerful, straight, not racist Christians. And we looked at
- 1:12:15Speaker 35: our booty and we said, you know, that booty is
- 1:12:18Speaker 35: so nice. I would love to sit on it while
- 1:12:20Speaker 35: I watch John Husted get undressed. You know, to give
- 1:12:25Speaker 35: the perfect sort of, it's round enough. It's firm enough.
- 1:12:28Speaker 35: Thank you. Thank you. It's firm enough.
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: It's big enough.
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: You can just sit on it and.
- 1:12:34Speaker 35: Just eat snacks. Maybe some Pirate's Booty while you watch
- 1:12:38Speaker 35: Senator John Husted of Ohio, undressed. Maybe he's just worked
- 1:12:42Speaker 35: out his boots and he's taking a strong shower. So
- 1:12:45Speaker 35: thank you, Nicki Minaj. Great ass for sitting and watching.

- 1:17:52Speaker 34: of sexually assaulting a killingly woman who allowed him to
- 1:17:55Speaker 34: stay in her home. 28-year-old Anthony Ashwell of Moosep faces
- 1:17:59Speaker 34: sexual assault, unlawful restraint, and disorderly conduct charges following his
- 1:18:03Speaker 34: September 24th arrest. Norwich Police Detective Scott DuPont received the
- 1:18:08Speaker 34: Medal of Valor Friday for his bravery during a 2021
- 1:18:12Speaker 34: shooting in which 18 bullets struck his patrol SUV.
- 1:18:16Speaker 11: Other officers and staff were also honored at City Hall.
- 1:18:20Speaker 34: The Hopkington Town Council recently voted to ban data centers
- 1:18:24Speaker 34: in all zoning districts following a public hearing on their
- 1:18:27Speaker 34: potential impacts. The amendment formally denies data centers and prohibits
- 1:18:32Speaker 34: their development townwide.
- 1:18:35Speaker 11: I'm Sean Murphy. When news breaks, we break in.
- 1:18:38Speaker 64: And good morning and good morning.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: Audience.
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: Rocky is back with very little voice, but a lot
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: of passion and a lot of hope for the future. Folks,
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: just last week we went to see, at the Shoreline Church,
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: we went to see young Washington. And what what the
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: left wants us is trying their best to do away
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: with our history. Because if you watch Young Washington or
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: any historical documentary, or if you read, if you really,
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: really dig into the history of men and women that
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: came from another country, another continent, another culture, and came
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: to this country to enjoy freedom, freedom of religion, freedom
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: of speech, freedom of oppression, freedom from wickedness. They came
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: here to do something better, something unheard of. In George Washington,
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: this was the story of young Washington, but eventually, after...
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: Defeating the British Empire. Imagine 13 colonies defeated the British Empire. Mr.
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: George Washington, General George Washington, could have put a crown
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: on his head. Physically, could have put a crown on
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: his head like Napoleon, the little man in France, did today.
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: And he declared himself an emperor. George Washington could have
- 1:20:39Speaker 4: done it, but he chose not to. That's the caliber
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: of a man I want to look up to. Not
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: these little wincy, little insignificant, little midgets, little— what do you
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: call them? Invertebrates. They got no spines. They agree with everybody. Ah!
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: vote for me, like the little man in Norwich. Oh
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: my gosh, I can't wait. By the grace of the
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: living God, if we can register a win on the
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: 20th district, it would be unheard of. And the powers
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: in Hartford, Connecticut will be shaken on both sides of
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: the aisle. That would be the beauty. And that's why,
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: by the way, but I'm not going to get into
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: it right now, but that's why I wasn't asked again.
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: An old veteran, a few months after the election, four
- 1:21:49Speaker 4: years ago, an old veteran leaned into me and said, Rocky,
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: they're not going to ask you to run again because
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: they found out You can't be controlled. And like a
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: light bulb, you know when you flick the switch on
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: the wall and your light goes on? Like a light
- 1:22:08Speaker 4: bulb came to me. He's right. He's an old, he's
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: this guy who's an old timer. Vietnam veteran, he's probably
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: 85 years old. Lean in very carefully, Rocky. They're not
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: gonna ask you because they found out you can't be controlled.
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: They don't want you. They want people that they can control.
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: Who are they? The losers. The inept. They call themselves
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: big shots. They haven't accomplished nothing. Many of them, nothing.
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: So when you see a movie like George Washington and
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: you realize that all our lives... There is a common thread,
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: a common theme. By the way, how coincidental. Lee Elsie's
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: jersey number was 20. You can't make this stuff up.
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: There's old pictures somewhere of him in the field with
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: the baseball, you know, swinging the bat. Number 20. It's
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: just remarkable. It's remarkable. And I don't know how many
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: of you in my over past 11 years on a
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: Saturday morning, sometimes I share the story. Lielce used to
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: be on a local station before 94.9 was ever started.
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: And I used to call it, I used to listen
- 1:23:46Speaker 4: to it all day, every day, because it used to
- 1:23:49Speaker 4: be Rush Limbaugh would be on. And I loved, I
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: learned so much from Rush Limbaugh. So one day, Lealcy
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: goes on the air after Rush Limbaugh, and I call
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: in from time to time. Maybe it's my accent. Maybe
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: it was what I was saying. But I say, hey,
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: come in and stop by sometimes. I want to meet you.
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: So one day, I'm in the neighborhood. I stop by.
- 1:24:15Speaker 4: I meet him. My name is Pietro. And he goes,
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: like some people say, Pietro, Petro. He says, well, yeah,
- 1:24:23Speaker 4: I know. It's a little difficult. He said, well, what
- 1:24:27Speaker 4: would you rather me call you? I said, I don't know.
- 1:24:30Speaker 4: He looks at me. And the first word out of
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: his mouth was, how about Rocky? And I stepped back
- 1:24:39Speaker 4: a little bit, reaction to something amazing. Because he didn't
- 1:24:45Speaker 4: even realize Rocky means rock. Pietro means stone. I didn't
- 1:24:52Speaker 4: change my name. You know how sometimes a movie star, singers,
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: they change, it sounds better. Sometimes they change the name altogether.
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: Rocky is my name in a different English format. And
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: I'm grateful for his, I don't know that he even
- 1:25:12Speaker 4: realized it, but that's my stage name. That's my radio name,
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: which is my own name. So it's Pietro Rocky Camardella.
- 1:25:21Speaker 4: How do you like that? For all the naysayer, for
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: all the wicked people that I am confronting on a
- 1:25:32Speaker 4: timely basis, God intervenes on our behalf. Can you handle it?
- 1:25:41Speaker 4: Can you stand against tyranny? Carla Marks stated... Please understand,
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: I have freedom of speech. To me, she's Carla Marks.
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: I don't like freedom because it brings chaos. Freedom, if
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: we are not free to speak, if we are not
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: free to think, if we are not free to walk,
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: what are we doing here? You understand that we are
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: made in God's image. And that's why I read from
- 1:26:26Speaker 4: Torrington several months ago. I didn't know this phrase, but
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: it's like I tattooed it on my heart. If you
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: open my chest and see my heart, this phrase will
- 1:26:37Speaker 4: be tattooed on my heart. You'll read it. To rebel
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: to tyrants is to obey God. I believe it's James Madison.
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: Please check it out. While we're at it, 860- 464-9490.
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: RockyRadioShow at gmail.com. In other words, we are commended to
- 1:27:02Speaker 4: stand against tyrants because tyrants are not godly. You see,
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: when I go to Norwich, the city council, they're tyrants.
- 1:27:14Speaker 4: They're bullies. Yes, including the little man who happens to be,
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: not really, but Republican. He's a little man. He's a nobody. Demands,
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: calls on cops. Sworn police officer armed with guns and
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: tasers and handcuffs to remove a citizen for not even
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: breaking their rules. How do you like that? Check it
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: out on YouTube. August 19, 2024. City Council of Norwich.
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: I don't want to comply with tyrants. I don't want
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: to give my name and my address, which, by the way,
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: they all know me. All of them. Their portraits, the
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: city council portraits and the mayor's portraits since 1986. By
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: the way, they don't hire me anymore. They haven't hired
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: me in a couple of cycles now. I wonder why.
- 1:28:14Speaker 4: Because I call them what they are. They're bullies, they're tyrants,
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: and they're incompetents. They really, truly are. Folks, if a
- 1:28:29Speaker 4: CEO of a company runs it to the ground for
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: whatever set of reasons— can he stand on a podium
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: and say, oh, we're doing great? Well, the employees quit.
- 1:28:46Speaker 4: They're fired. They are injured. The machines are not working.
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: But by just claiming at the podium that they're doing great,
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: are they doing great? I don't think so. I don't
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: think so at all. So we are commended. We have
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: no option. When you see tyranny, when you see wickedness,
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: we must, we who are called by his name, must
- 1:29:16Speaker 4: stand up to it. Let me rest my voice. Let's
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: go to old Dan. Good morning. You're on the air.
- 1:29:22Speaker 35: Go ahead.
- 1:29:23Speaker 8: Hey, Rocky.
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:29:25Speaker 38: I've always found that when you're starting to lose your voice,
- 1:29:28Speaker 38: if you gargle with Frangelico, it works.
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: Well, Coach Leo was suggesting vodka, I think. Oh, no, grappa, grappa.
- 1:29:41Speaker 38: Oh, minga. But actually, I had two things.
- 1:29:47Speaker 21: Yes.
- 1:29:48Speaker 38: One was from one of the things Lamont said at
- 1:29:51Speaker 38: the debate, and then an ad I saw by Susan
- 1:29:54Speaker 38: Bysiewicz yesterday. But at the debate, they were talking about
- 1:29:59Speaker 38: illegal immigration and ICE. And one of the things Lamont
- 1:30:03Speaker 38: said is, if you look Hispanic, you're gone. Now, one that's,
- 1:30:11Speaker 38: of course, totally false, and he's trying to create fear.
- 1:30:16Speaker 38: And people– they always say people who are black or brown.
- 1:30:20Speaker 38: But if you think about it, if what he said
- 1:30:22Speaker 38: was true, how come there's all these Hispanic people still
- 1:30:25Speaker 38: walking around? And did they break out of jail? I
- 1:30:29Speaker 38: didn't hear about all the jail breaks where they got
- 1:30:31Speaker 38: out of jail.
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: They're lying.
- 1:30:33Speaker 38: And ICE is a federal– they're federal agents.
- 1:30:37Speaker 52: Right.
- 1:30:37Speaker 38: And the reason they're here is to try to clean
- 1:30:40Speaker 38: up the mess that was caused by four years of
- 1:30:43Speaker 38: lawlessness by President Biden– not enforcing border control and securing
- 1:30:51Speaker 38: the border. And that's what caused the crisis, and they're
- 1:30:56Speaker 38: trying to clean it up. And a lot of mistakes
- 1:30:59Speaker 38: are made because we won't work with ICE. So they're
- 1:31:03Speaker 38: going in blind. They're going in blind. There could be
- 1:31:06Speaker 38: a lot less of these mistakes if the state of
- 1:31:10Speaker 38: Connecticut and the attorney general and the governor would work
- 1:31:13Speaker 38: together With federal agents because federal agents are– they're the
- 1:31:17Speaker 38: ones that enforce immigration laws, not the state.
- 1:31:20Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:31:21Speaker 38: So that was number one, and it just shows how
- 1:31:23Speaker 38: divisive and underhanded a lot of these Democrats are. And
- 1:31:30Speaker 38: I think it's terrible because it's scaring people and it's
- 1:31:33Speaker 38: giving a false impression that enforcing the law is wrong.
- 1:31:38Speaker 35: Right.
- 1:31:39Speaker 38: And the second one. was I'm watching the New York
- 1:31:43Speaker 38: Giants game, and they won, which is most important. But second,
- 1:31:48Speaker 38: an ad by Susan Bysiewicz saying that they're going to
- 1:31:53Speaker 38: implement universal health care. Now, I don't know if she
- 1:31:58Speaker 38: can read the paper, but about three, four days earlier,
- 1:32:00Speaker 38: there was an article about this poor woman with a
- 1:32:04Speaker 38: two-year-old child, it looked like, who needed to see a
- 1:32:07Speaker 38: pediatric ophthalmologist, and she's on Medicaid. Now, Medicaid and Medicare
- 1:32:13Speaker 38: are two examples of universal health care. It's paid for
- 1:32:18Speaker 38: by the government. We're paying taxes for it, but we
- 1:32:23Speaker 38: have no say how the money's spent. And, yeah, they're
- 1:32:29Speaker 38: running the show. She could not get an appointment for
- 1:32:32Speaker 38: nine months for her kid because she's on Medicaid. And
- 1:32:35Speaker 38: when they interviewed the pediatric ophthalmologist and a couple other docs,
- 1:32:39Speaker 38: they all said the same thing. They're losing money when
- 1:32:43Speaker 38: they see Medicaid patients because we're not spending, as a state,
- 1:32:49Speaker 38: reimbursing them enough money so they can actually make a
- 1:32:53Speaker 38: couple of bucks on the people that they see. So
- 1:32:57Speaker 38: if they saw a lot of Medicaid patients, they'd basically
- 1:33:00Speaker 38: go bankrupt. And it's the same thing with Medicare. I mean,
- 1:33:04Speaker 38: I'm on Medicare. My ophthalmologist retired. I tried to find
- 1:33:09Speaker 38: a new one. I could not get an appointment for
- 1:33:12Speaker 38: six months. And I hear the same thing. Medicare, they
- 1:33:15Speaker 38: pay better than Medicaid. I mean, Medicaid, they pay nothing.
- 1:33:20Speaker 38: But Medicare, they don't want to see us because they
- 1:33:22Speaker 38: can't make money on us. And you think about it, well,
- 1:33:25Speaker 38: it sounds like all these rich doctors. But, jeez, they
- 1:33:29Speaker 38: go to school until they're 30. They come out with
- 1:33:32Speaker 38: hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of loans. They don't
- 1:33:35Speaker 38: make any money until they're 30, 32 years old. They've
- 1:33:39Speaker 38: got to be smarter and more talented than people like me.
- 1:33:44Speaker 38: And we want people to go into medicine, and we're
- 1:33:48Speaker 38: telling them that they can't make any money or they're
- 1:33:51Speaker 38: going to have to see twice as many people as
- 1:33:54Speaker 38: they used to, which we are telling them because that's
- 1:33:56Speaker 38: what's happening, and to make the same amount of money
- 1:33:59Speaker 38: working twice as hard. And they hate it because they
- 1:34:03Speaker 38: know they've got to run a mill in order to survive.
- 1:34:07Speaker 38: And that– My friends, that's what socialized medicine does to
- 1:34:12Speaker 38: health care. You'll be covered. You'll have government insurance. But
- 1:34:17Speaker 38: good luck trying to find a doctor because they're all
- 1:34:20Speaker 38: going to become lawyers and go into finance. And the
- 1:34:23Speaker 38: ones that are left, they can't work 18-hour days to
- 1:34:26Speaker 38: see you.
- 1:34:27Speaker 19: Right.
- 1:34:27Speaker 38: And I just wish people would think and wake up.
- 1:34:32Speaker 38: And I wish the people running for office would have
- 1:34:36Speaker 38: the would stop making false promises about stuff that they
- 1:34:42Speaker 38: can't– they're promising stuff that they cannot be achievable. And
- 1:34:47Speaker 38: they're lying about what could happen. And when you're against
- 1:34:50Speaker 38: it because of what I just said, you're a bad guy.
- 1:34:54Speaker 8: And you're for the insurance company. Right.
- 1:34:57Speaker 38: And, you know, I'd like to see the state of
- 1:34:58Speaker 38: Connecticut tax rolls if the insurance companies all left the
- 1:35:01Speaker 38: state of Connecticut.
- 1:35:03Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:35:03Speaker 38: We used to be the insurance capital of the world.
- 1:35:06Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 1:35:06Speaker 38: Hired, I don't know, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands
- 1:35:09Speaker 38: of people, paid tons of property taxes into Hartford and
- 1:35:13Speaker 38: everywhere else where they're located. We want to put the
- 1:35:17Speaker 38: insurance companies out of business because the government can do
- 1:35:19Speaker 38: a better job?
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: Yeah, right.
- 1:35:21Speaker 8: It's crazy.
- 1:35:22Speaker 4: Remember Ronald Reagan said, the worst words you can hear
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: in English language, hi, I'm from the government, I'm here
- 1:35:31Speaker 4: to help. Amen.
- 1:35:35Speaker 38: Reagan was the best.
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: He was the best.
- 1:35:38Speaker 38: And, you know, Trump could have been Reagan if he
- 1:35:40Speaker 38: didn't be such a jerk and go a.
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: Little bit too far. If he didn't lose his wit
- 1:35:45Speaker 4: on the way to, I don't know where, in the
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: middle of the forest, he just lost it. Thank you, Dan. Folks,
- 1:35:54Speaker 4: before I forget, tonight, live debate from 7 to 8
- 1:35:58Speaker 4: on 94.9, Courtney versus George Austin. Please listen in 7
- 1:36:05Speaker 4: to 8 p.m. on this station. We'll be right back.
- 1:36:10Speaker 64: I've been walking through the valley With these tears I
- 1:36:15Speaker 64: cannot hide I've been asking you for answers Wondering what
- 1:36:21Speaker 64: you have in mind When the road is getting harder.
- 1:36:27Speaker 65: And my strength is almost gone I remember you are
- 1:36:32Speaker 65: faithful You've been holding me all along When I cannot
- 1:36:39Speaker 65: see tomorrow When I don't know where to stand I
- 1:36:45Speaker 65: will lay my fears before you Trust the wisdom of
- 1:36:49Speaker 65: your hands It's all in God's hands Every tear and

- 1:49:51Speaker 4: This glorious Monday morning.
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: Today is the 26th of October, 2026.
- 1:49:58Speaker 4: 10, 26, 26. I like numbers. On the line this morning,
- 1:50:14Speaker 4: out of the blue, we have none other than John Fuller.
- 1:50:19Speaker 4: Good morning, John. Are you there?
- 1:50:22Speaker 8: Good morning. Rock, rock, rock, rocking.
- 1:50:26Speaker 4: John Fuller is the owner. I mean, he's the real,
- 1:50:29Speaker 4: the big boss, you know. What are you doing, John?
- 1:50:34Speaker 8: I'm getting ready for this election only eight days away,
- 1:50:38Speaker 8: and we have major trouble. Major trouble, Rocky.
- 1:50:42Speaker 4: What happened? We got to win.
- 1:50:45Speaker 8: Let's take a look at the facts. The facts are
- 1:50:48Speaker 8: that we have 25,000 Democrats that voted in early voting.
- 1:50:52Speaker 8: We have 10,500 unaffiliated and only 7,000 Republicans.
- 1:50:55Speaker 21: Wow. Wow.
- 1:51:04Speaker 8: That is not good.
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: It's the first time I heard it. I don't know
- 1:51:10Speaker 4: why we're not aware of this. Thank you for bringing
- 1:51:13Speaker 4: it up.
- 1:51:14Speaker 8: Yeah, well, here's the problem. The Republicans are not mobilized.
- 1:51:19Speaker 8: We have got to get mobilized. We have eight days
- 1:51:22Speaker 8: to do it. A, you've got to make sure you vote.
- 1:51:26Speaker 52: Of course.
- 1:51:26Speaker 8: You've got to make sure all your family members vote
- 1:51:29Speaker 8: in the election. If they have questions about candidates, Help
- 1:51:33Speaker 8: them learn about the candidate that serves their interests best.
- 1:51:39Speaker 8: And get them to the polls. The Democrats, they bust
- 1:51:43Speaker 8: in all these people. They're not even told about the candidates.
- 1:51:49Speaker 8: And then they're told to just vote Democrat. And then
- 1:51:52Speaker 8: they whisk them away and they bring them to a
- 1:51:54Speaker 8: free lunch. And that's how they get people voting. It's
- 1:51:59Speaker 8: not enough just to vote yourself. We all know somebody
- 1:52:03Speaker 8: that could get a ride to the polls or help
- 1:52:06Speaker 8: with early voting. Early voting is good, but the Democrats
- 1:52:10Speaker 8: are leading in that, and we need to realize that
- 1:52:14Speaker 8: we don't have it going on, and we need to
- 1:52:17Speaker 8: get better, not bitter. And it starts with voting at
- 1:52:22Speaker 8: the ballot box.
- 1:52:24Speaker 4: John, I am puzzled, coming from another country, Italy— In Italy,
- 1:52:30Speaker 4: we have several parties— I mean, dozens of parties, but 80
- 1:52:33Speaker 4: percent or more of Italians go to vote. When I
- 1:52:37Speaker 4: came to the United States and I became a United
- 1:52:40Speaker 4: States citizen in 1986, I voted with desire to vote,
- 1:52:45Speaker 4: to participate. Every single election, I've been voting ever since
- 1:52:49Speaker 4: I was legally a United States citizen. I don't know
- 1:52:53Speaker 4: why we have this apathy. I don't understand it.
- 1:52:56Speaker 6: Why?
- 1:52:57Speaker 4: Why are— Why are people not eager to vote?
- 1:53:04Speaker 8: I don't know, because we're not promoting it enough, especially
- 1:53:07Speaker 8: the young people. Do you want to have a candidate
- 1:53:11Speaker 8: that just raises taxes, doesn't listen to you, or do
- 1:53:15Speaker 8: you want to get results in the things you want
- 1:53:18Speaker 8: in this world? Do you want lower electric rates? Maybe
- 1:53:22Speaker 8: Fazio's your guy. Take and Google him. Research him. Or
- 1:53:27Speaker 8: maybe you're happy the way things are going and you
- 1:53:29Speaker 8: vote for Ned Lamont. But I don't know. I think
- 1:53:33Speaker 8: that we need to get rid of Ned Lamont.
- 1:53:35Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:53:35Speaker 8: I think we need to get rid of Joe Courtney.
- 1:53:38Speaker 21: I agree.
- 1:53:38Speaker 8: Joe Courtney reminds me of Joe Biden. He looks like him,
- 1:53:44Speaker 8: he talks like him, and he acts like him.
- 1:53:49Speaker 4: Hey, John, I have a quick idea. When are you
- 1:53:53Speaker 4: running for office? I'll come and lose my voice for
- 1:53:59Speaker 4: you on the sidewalk somewhere waving your signs.
- 1:54:04Speaker 8: You know, I help behind the scenes and I do
- 1:54:06Speaker 8: what I can do. I just don't have the time
- 1:54:10Speaker 8: to vote. And if I want to do something, I
- 1:54:12Speaker 8: want to do it right.
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: I agree.
- 1:54:15Speaker 8: I'm not looking to do it.
- 1:54:16Speaker 4: But you're still young. There's still time for you.
- 1:54:19Speaker 52: Yeah, thank you.
- 1:54:20Speaker 4: But that's my feeling.
- 1:54:22Speaker 8: Eight days to go. Let's mobilize. What we're doing right
- 1:54:26Speaker 8: now is not, not working, Rocky. We've got to get
- 1:54:31Speaker 8: people out to vote. We've got first-time voters. We've got
- 1:54:36Speaker 8: people in nursing homes. Help them vote. We've got people
- 1:54:40Speaker 8: that just don't think their vote counts. Your vote counts.
- 1:54:44Speaker 8: If you're driving to Pfizer, an electric boat, and you
- 1:54:50Speaker 8: think that your vote doesn't count, it counts.
- 1:54:52Speaker 4: Take a look.
- 1:54:53Speaker 8: And then you wonder why we don't have great candidates.
- 1:54:56Speaker 8: We need more people to participate in government and get
- 1:55:01Speaker 8: their ideas out there. That's what we have to do.
- 1:55:08Speaker 8: We need more people participating in our elections, and we've
- 1:55:12Speaker 8: got to vote Joe Courtney out. He says that, oh,
- 1:55:16Speaker 8: he's brought all.
- 1:55:17Speaker 2: Of these subs into Groton.
- 1:55:22Speaker 4: Sure.
- 1:55:22Speaker 8: They were coming without him.
- 1:55:24Speaker 6: Of course.
- 1:55:25Speaker 35: Yes.
- 1:55:26Speaker 4: We definitely— John, I'm so re-energized for your call because I
- 1:55:35Speaker 4: didn't even realize the data that you presented, and I'm
- 1:55:41Speaker 4: sure it's all official— Basically, there's four to one. Four
- 1:55:47Speaker 4: to one. Four to one already.
- 1:55:49Speaker 8: Four to one.
- 1:55:50Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 1:55:50Speaker 8: Democrats are voting for every one Republican. And independents are
- 1:55:56Speaker 8: already outperforming Republicans.
- 1:55:58Speaker 4: No kidding.
- 1:55:59Speaker 8: The Republican Party is in third place in Connecticut.
- 1:56:05Speaker 4: Thank you for... I'm sorry. John, can you stay on
- 1:56:11Speaker 4: for a second? We got a caller that wants to
- 1:56:13Speaker 4: be on with you. Reid, are you there? Go ahead, Reid.
- 1:56:18Speaker 70: How did you know I wanted to talk to John Fuller?
- 1:56:20Speaker 4: Because I have some minions in the machines here.
- 1:56:24Speaker 70: You have a little bird in the background whispering in
- 1:56:28Speaker 70: your ear.
- 1:56:28Speaker 6: I like that.
- 1:56:29Speaker 4: Reid, welcome to the.
- 1:56:31Speaker 8: Good morning. How are you?
- 1:56:32Speaker 70: You know, John Fuller, you are a total genius, and
- 1:56:36Speaker 70: you're absolutely right, and you're completely energized by... I was
- 1:56:42Speaker 70: doing the same calculation on a national basis in terms
- 1:56:47Speaker 70: of how rigged it is, and yet what you say
- 1:56:50Speaker 70: is still true. It comes down to the math. We
- 1:56:53Speaker 70: are in charge if all we do is look at
- 1:56:56Speaker 70: the math and do what the math tells us to do. Nationally,
- 1:57:00Speaker 70: all it would take, and I got into this research
- 1:57:03Speaker 70: by reading about all the scuttlebutt about inaccuracy of polls,
- 1:57:08Speaker 70: and now a very interesting subject coming up, which is
- 1:57:11Speaker 70: The prediction markets are just as bad, if not worse.
- 1:57:15Speaker 70: If Republicans simply turned out 9 percent greater than what
- 1:57:21Speaker 70: they usually do, then all of these critical variable swing
- 1:57:25Speaker 70: state House seats would go back.
- 1:57:28Speaker 21: To the Republicans.
- 1:57:29Speaker 70: It would only take a 9 percent excess turnout for
- 1:57:34Speaker 70: Republicans to keep all those seats. So when you're talking
- 1:57:38Speaker 70: about four to one in this neck of the woods,
- 1:57:42Speaker 70: what it takes is a 36 percent excess turnout. We
- 1:57:47Speaker 70: have to get an extra Republican for every three Republicans
- 1:57:52Speaker 70: that can be counted on to vote to vote. Now,
- 1:57:55Speaker 70: that's not impossible. I mean, if you had to do
- 1:57:58Speaker 70: that inside your corporate activities, you would get that done overnight.
- 1:58:02Speaker 70: And like you said, we're not mobilized. Well, the only
- 1:58:05Speaker 70: thing that's going to mobilize us is to realize how
- 1:58:09Speaker 70: ripped off we're getting. For some reason, Republicans, like they're
- 1:58:13Speaker 70: taking bottles of Valium every day, sit on their butts
- 1:58:17Speaker 70: and don't realize how ripped off they're getting or they
- 1:58:20Speaker 70: would never put up with this. Likewise, imagine if it
- 1:58:23Speaker 70: was the Democrats. that had the four-to-one advantage. Excuse me,
- 1:58:28Speaker 70: Republicans that had the four-to-one advantage. Would Democrats ever put
- 1:58:32Speaker 70: up with that? Of course not. They would get mobilized.
- 1:58:35Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:58:37Speaker 8: Yeah, they whine, whine, whine. Now, let me ask you, Reid,
- 1:58:40Speaker 8: does Joe Courtney look like Joe Biden? Does he talk
- 1:58:45Speaker 8: like Joe Biden? Is it Joe Biden?
- 1:58:49Speaker 70: Well, isn't that who Joe Biden would sit next to
- 1:58:51Speaker 70: if he wanted.
- 1:58:52Speaker 21: To look good?
- 1:58:55Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:58:56Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:58:57Speaker 21: I mean, that's a backdrop.
- 1:59:00Speaker 8: It is.
- 1:59:00Speaker 70: It's unbelievable. I mean, to the effect that what you're saying,
- 1:59:03Speaker 70: to reductio ad absurdum, is, you know, the Democrats will
- 1:59:07Speaker 70: elect a corpse to pull the levers.
- 1:59:09Speaker 38: The way they want.
- 1:59:10Speaker 70: That's the truth. They're far more practical than we are.
- 1:59:14Speaker 70: They're far more practical. They understand power. They understand words.
- 1:59:17Speaker 70: They understand selling. I mean, I bet you would love
- 1:59:21Speaker 70: to get people who are motivated like that to sell
- 1:59:23Speaker 70: airtime for your company, because that's what they know how
- 1:59:27Speaker 70: to do.
- 1:59:28Speaker 8: Yeah, zombie. That's the Democrat Party. I mean, if you
- 1:59:32Speaker 8: could get a client who wrote a.
- 1:59:34Speaker 70: Check for a million dollars for airtime and didn't even
- 1:59:37Speaker 70: pay any attention, that's a great client.
- 1:59:39Speaker 8: But, you know, the world is a lot better.
- 1:59:41Speaker 70: Republicans, who are supposedly aware of that reality, have to
- 1:59:45Speaker 70: get off their butts and vote.
- 1:59:48Speaker 4: Well, thank you.
- 1:59:49Speaker 8: Reed, you have a great voice. Have you ever thought
- 1:59:51Speaker 8: of having your own show on the radio?
- 1:59:54Speaker 70: It's been suggested now and then.
- 1:59:57Speaker 8: What do you do for a living?
- 1:59:59Speaker 70: I'm a venture capital sort of guy.
- 2:00:03Speaker 38: Oh, wow.
- 2:00:03Speaker 8: Where do you see the markets going? We've had a
- 2:00:06Speaker 8: tumble of the last 60 days. The curse of October
- 2:00:09Speaker 8: has been in full play in Wall Street.
- 2:00:12Speaker 70: The stock market is very much like politics. It is
- 2:00:17Speaker 70: a game. where people go out and tell you all
- 2:00:20Speaker 70: these wonderful values. You know, I was just looking up NVIDIA. Now,
- 2:00:24Speaker 70: if NVIDIA is really worth so many trillions of dollars,
- 2:00:31Speaker 70: you would expect the sales number, the top line of
- 2:00:34Speaker 70: that company, to be humongous, would you not?
- 2:00:37Speaker 21: I mean, when I looked at it, it's $ 215 billion.
- 2:00:39Speaker 70: We have this $ 215 billion company that is holding up
- 2:00:46Speaker 70: stratospheric market values of trillions of dollars. And you got
- 2:00:51Speaker 70: the top 10 stocks out of 8,000 stocks that are
- 2:00:56Speaker 70: 40% of market cap, all 8,000. That's crazy, right? But
- 2:01:01Speaker 70: the way the stock market works is they'll come out
- 2:01:03Speaker 70: and they'll say, oh, but look at this. So the
- 2:01:05Speaker 70: valuation is 80 times trailing 12 months. It's a bargain.
- 2:01:13Speaker 70: You know, so, I mean, everybody's got a pitch that
- 2:01:16Speaker 70: makes stupid things look smart.
- 2:01:19Speaker 8: Absolutely. We've got to get your number. I'd like to
- 2:01:22Speaker 8: talk to you another.
- 2:01:23Speaker 61: Time, Reed.
- 2:01:24Speaker 70: Okay, thank you, John. It's nice to talk to you.
- 2:01:27Speaker 4: Yes, thank you, Reed. Reed is a person that months
- 2:01:31Speaker 4: ago taught me that saying that it's, I guess, popular,
- 2:01:35Speaker 4: but I didn't grow up here. To rebel against tyrants
- 2:01:39Speaker 4: is to obey God. John, what other news you got
- 2:01:43Speaker 4: for us?
- 2:01:44Speaker 8: Well, I'm driving through Hopkington, Rhode Island, where I was born,
- 2:01:49Speaker 8: and they've outlawed data centers. That's the latest thing. Everyone
- 2:01:54Speaker 8: wants AI to work, but they don't want to have
- 2:01:56Speaker 8: a data center that basically it employs people and it
- 2:02:02Speaker 8: lowers taxes. And, you know, we're going to need them someplace. Yes,
- 2:02:07Speaker 8: does it use a lot of electricity?
- 2:02:09Speaker 56: Yes.
- 2:02:09Speaker 8: But they're coming up with ways where they're self-containing that.
- 2:02:13Speaker 8: But Hopkington has never wanted anything. There was a racetrack,
- 2:02:17Speaker 8: like a NASCAR racetrack, when I was growing up that
- 2:02:20Speaker 8: they tried to get through. It was going to have
- 2:02:23Speaker 8: an exit and on-ramp right off a 95. What do
- 2:02:26Speaker 8: they do?
- 2:02:27Speaker 4: Nothing.
- 2:02:28Speaker 8: They voted out, and then they eliminated.
- 2:02:30Speaker 21: So.
- 2:02:32Speaker 8: This town has had a, it's just an anti-business community. And,
- 2:02:37Speaker 8: you know, there's no businesses that come in here. That's
- 2:02:40Speaker 8: what they've got. No business, no growth, no jobs. And
- 2:02:44Speaker 8: it's gone on for 60-some years.
- 2:02:47Speaker 52: Wow.
- 2:02:48Speaker 4: Sounds to me like Norwich a little bit.
- 2:02:53Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, some of these towns are going to
- 2:02:54Speaker 8: get their act together and be more proactive to business.
- 2:02:58Speaker 8: They need to create jobs for the kids that are
- 2:03:01Speaker 8: coming up. And they need to do it fast because
- 2:03:04Speaker 8: an alarm bell should be going off. All they do
- 2:03:07Speaker 8: is raise taxes, school taxes, and the education have gone down,
- 2:03:14Speaker 8: the quality of the education.
- 2:03:16Speaker 4: It's unsustainable. We can't keep doing this. We can't keep
- 2:03:21Speaker 4: raising taxes because they don't see any other– they don't
- 2:03:26Speaker 4: have a vision. They don't have courage.
- 2:03:30Speaker 8: And here's the other problem that no one wants to
- 2:03:32Speaker 8: talk about, and I saw this on the internet, and
- 2:03:35Speaker 8: they have all the numbers wrong, that we're in $ 2
- 2:03:37Speaker 8: trillion of debt. I saw this on the internet yesterday.
- 2:03:41Speaker 8: Two places. We're in $ 40 trillion in debt. Just 10
- 2:03:47Speaker 8: years ago, we were barely under, we were at less
- 2:03:51Speaker 8: than $ 20 trillion in debt. We are outpacing, it's like
- 2:03:56Speaker 8: having a revolving charge at At Best Buy or.
- 2:04:02Speaker 4: And you keep buying. Yeah, you keep spending money. Spending, spending, yes. Right.
- 2:04:08Speaker 8: The interest is going to destroy us. Yes. And none
- 2:04:13Speaker 8: of the politicians, Democrats, independents, or what's the other one?
- 2:04:20Speaker 4: Republicans.
- 2:04:21Speaker 8: Republicans, that's right. Republicans.
- 2:04:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:04:24Speaker 8: They have their hand in the sand, and they're not
- 2:04:28Speaker 8: doing a damn thing about it because they're all ass,
- 2:04:32Speaker 8: and you know the other word.
- 2:04:33Speaker 60: Yes, yes.
- 2:04:34Speaker 4: We won't say it. John, any finishing thoughts to your
- 2:04:39Speaker 4: beautiful monologue?
- 2:04:42Speaker 8: No, I think that's about it. But no data centers
- 2:04:45Speaker 8: in Hopkinton because there's never anything in Hopkinton. And the
- 2:04:48Speaker 8: other problem that we have, our biggest problem in this area,
- 2:04:54Speaker 8: is 95 is not big enough. If there were any
- 2:04:57Speaker 8: kind of disaster, if there were a nuclear bomb that
- 2:04:59Speaker 8: went off in in Times Square, and people needed to
- 2:05:03Speaker 8: leave Times Square and New York. 95, half of the way,
- 2:05:08Speaker 8: it's only two lanes when you go through Norwalk and Samford,
- 2:05:12Speaker 8: and it would take days to get all the evacuees out.
- 2:05:16Speaker 8: And no one talks about it. 95 was built 50,
- 2:05:21Speaker 8: 60 years ago through Hopkington and Exeter and Groton. It
- 2:05:27Speaker 8: needs to be wider. It needs more lanes. That's what
- 2:05:30Speaker 8: we need to be spending our money in. We burn
- 2:05:33Speaker 8: up all kinds of gas because we have traffic. We
- 2:05:37Speaker 8: have construction zones. All it is is a Band-Aid. We
- 2:05:42Speaker 8: need two or three more lanes on each side, period.
- 2:05:46Speaker 4: I'm telling you, John, I never heard you so passionate.
- 2:05:51Speaker 4: I love it. I love it.
- 2:05:53Speaker 55: All right.
- 2:05:53Speaker 8: Well, we got to go. We'll have more later.
- 2:05:56Speaker 44: All right.
- 2:05:56Speaker 4: Thank you, John Fuller. for calling in. And before we
- 2:06:00Speaker 4: go to break, I want to wish happy birthday to
- 2:06:03Speaker 4: Bo D, nine-year-old Bo D. God bless you. We'll be
- 2:06:07Speaker 4: right back.

- 2:20:08Speaker 4: to you live this glorious Monday morning. I got to
- 2:20:12Speaker 4: think about it. It's not Saturday. It's Monday. Thank you
- 2:20:15Speaker 4: for our good friend asking to join the conversation. today
- 2:20:21Speaker 4: is the 26th of October and in case you're wondering
- 2:20:24Speaker 4: I lost my voice because for a whole day on
- 2:20:29Speaker 4: Friday I was yelling top of my lungs about our
- 2:20:36Speaker 4: friend and the candidate in the 20th district running against
- 2:20:41Speaker 4: Carla Marks which may sound like I'm making fun of
- 2:20:46Speaker 4: but hey At least I'm not saying nasty, nasty names.
- 2:20:55Speaker 4: Before I forget, again, I would like to wish happy
- 2:20:58Speaker 4: birthday to Bodhi. Bodhi is nine years old. I wish
- 2:21:04Speaker 4: him the best. Nine years old. That was 1964 for me.
- 2:21:08Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't think somebody was even alive
- 2:21:18Speaker 4: in 1964. Were you alive?
- 2:21:20Speaker 8: No.
- 2:21:21Speaker 4: That's how old I am. Folks, when I first went
- 2:21:24Speaker 4: to first grade at the nuns' school, Catholic school in Bagnoli,
- 2:21:33Speaker 4: which is a part of Naples, we had inkwell on
- 2:21:39Speaker 4: the first day of my first grade. We had the
- 2:21:43Speaker 4: dip inkwell. Do you even remember? Do you even know
- 2:21:46Speaker 4: what I'm talking about? I had to dip into the
- 2:21:52Speaker 4: inkwell was in the desk. And you started and we
- 2:21:55Speaker 4: started the page. A, all nicely was spaced correctly. B, C.
- 2:22:03Speaker 4: And that was my first day of school. First grade.
- 2:22:08Speaker 4: So I was six, 1955. Sixty one. By the grace
- 2:22:15Speaker 4: of the living God, I am alive today. I got
- 2:22:19Speaker 4: to see four children being born. I got to see
- 2:22:22Speaker 4: eight grandkids. Life is good. And that is why, if
- 2:22:28Speaker 4: you wonder, that is why I am fortified by the
- 2:22:36Speaker 4: experiences that I was able to live. like the movies
- 2:22:44Speaker 4: Young Washington that we just saw. We should learn from
- 2:22:48Speaker 4: these things. We should learn that wicked people should be confronted,
- 2:22:53Speaker 4: should be stood against. In all seriousness, in all lawfulness,
- 2:23:00Speaker 4: I would never entice violence ever because God is in control.
- 2:23:10Speaker 4: But we got to stand up. So it was such
- 2:23:14Speaker 4: a surprise to have John Fuller call in, and he
- 2:23:19Speaker 4: was right. And those data, the data that he shared,
- 2:23:23Speaker 4: it's quite upsetting. You mean to tell me there's more
- 2:23:28Speaker 4: independent voters that already voted, early voting, than Republicans? What's
- 2:23:36Speaker 4: going on? What would they do? They took a sleeping
- 2:23:42Speaker 4: pill or something.
- 2:23:43Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 2:23:46Speaker 4: It is remarkable. How do you motivate? And that's another thing.
- 2:23:52Speaker 4: The tragedy that happened last September 10th when Charlie Kirk
- 2:23:57Speaker 4: got assassinated. How is it a young man, he died
- 2:24:03Speaker 4: so young, 31 years old, but all since he started
- 2:24:09Speaker 4: in his 20s, He could motivate young kids to fill
- 2:24:15Speaker 4: auditoriums or gymnasiums or outside by the thousands because he
- 2:24:24Speaker 4: was genuine. He was honest. He was relentless. He was courageous.
- 2:24:37Speaker 4: That pulls you along. Who do we have to look
- 2:24:42Speaker 4: up to? Name it. What are we doing today? Who
- 2:24:46Speaker 4: are we listening to? Do they drag you out and say, yes,
- 2:24:52Speaker 4: I want to stand by that person? Most of our
- 2:24:59Speaker 4: civic leaders are a bunch of ding-dongs. Is it okay
- 2:25:04Speaker 4: to say ding-dongs on here? Yes. They're dummies. They're useless.
- 2:25:11Speaker 4: And they feather their nest and they surround themselves. Like,
- 2:25:15Speaker 4: you know, the king has no clothes. You know the story.
- 2:25:21Speaker 4: When Rita was speaking, I couldn't help but go back.
- 2:25:28Speaker 4: My mind went back to Mayorkas. Do you remember? And
- 2:25:31Speaker 4: I mentioned on a Rocky Radio show a few times. Mr. Mayorkas,
- 2:25:36Speaker 4: under oath, in front of Congress... declare that the border
- 2:25:41Speaker 4: was secure when we all could see thousands of people
- 2:25:47Speaker 4: just walking through the border, by the thousands, every day. Now,
- 2:25:53Speaker 4: the question I would have is, why were the Republicans
- 2:25:59Speaker 4: so kind, so they're standing by? I would have threw
- 2:26:05Speaker 4: a tantrum. If I was a— that' s why, by God and
- 2:26:11Speaker 4: all his wisdom, I could never win an election, because
- 2:26:14Speaker 4: I would just go bonkers. I would have said to Mr. Mallorca,
- 2:26:18Speaker 4: you ought to be arrested right now for lying under oath.
- 2:26:24Speaker 4: You're lying. Oh, how about that beauty? Have you ever
- 2:26:28Speaker 4: heard Congressman Johnson— Johnston, I believe his name is? Remember the
- 2:26:34Speaker 4: guy that— he was concerned— that if everybody from an island
- 2:26:39Speaker 4: of Guam— I think it was Guam— moved to one side
- 2:26:43Speaker 4: of the island, he was concerned. He was sharing his
- 2:26:48Speaker 4: concern as a United States congressman to a Navy admiral— Admiral such-and-such,
- 2:26:56Speaker 4: I don't remember his name. I'm concerned because if everybody
- 2:26:59Speaker 4: goes from one side of the island to the other,
- 2:27:02Speaker 4: the island may capsize. Do you remember that? These are
- 2:27:08Speaker 4: our leaders. These are our elected officials. These people ought
- 2:27:14Speaker 4: to be ashamed of themselves. But worst yet, where were
- 2:27:18Speaker 4: the opposition? Did they say anything?
- 2:27:22Speaker 8: No.
- 2:27:23Speaker 4: No, of course not. They're being nice. We want to
- 2:27:28Speaker 4: be kind.
- 2:27:29Speaker 7: We want to be respectful.
- 2:27:35Speaker 4: I would, if I was the Admiral, I would have said,
- 2:27:37Speaker 4: are you for real? I'm a United States admiral, and
- 2:27:41Speaker 4: I don't talk to dummies. I don't reply, and I
- 2:27:46Speaker 4: don't answer questions from an idiot. Is it okay to
- 2:27:50Speaker 4: say that? It's okay.
- 2:27:53Speaker 56: This is an island that at its.
- 2:27:59Speaker 39: Widest level is, what, 12 miles from shore to shore,
- 2:28:05Speaker 39: and at a smallest level or smallest location, it's seven
- 2:28:16Speaker 39: miles between one shore and the other. Is that correct?
- 2:28:23Speaker 41: I don't have the exact dimensions, but to your point, sir,
- 2:28:27Speaker 41: I think Guam is a small island.
- 2:28:29Speaker 39: Very small island and about 24 miles, if I recall, long.
- 2:28:36Speaker 39: So 24 miles long, about 7 miles wide.
- 2:28:38Speaker 52: And what?
- 2:28:38Speaker 39: Place on the island.
- 2:28:41Speaker 4: And about 12 miles wide. And what? Fish's Island is
- 2:28:45Speaker 4: an island.
- 2:28:45Speaker 3: And.
- 2:28:58Speaker 39: I don't know how many square miles that is.
- 2:29:01Speaker 4: Lord have mercy.
- 2:29:02Speaker 56: Do you happen to know?
- 2:29:03Speaker 26: I don't.
- 2:29:04Speaker 14: You'd like?
- 2:29:05Speaker 56: Yeah, my fear is that the whole island will become
- 2:29:11Speaker 56: so overly populated that it will tip over.
- 2:29:17Speaker 4: You can't make this up, folks. These are our leaders.
- 2:29:21Speaker 4: These are our elected officials. He has fear, this guy.
- 2:29:28Speaker 4: He stays up nights because he fears that the island
- 2:29:35Speaker 4: may capsize. But worse yet, worse than Congressman Johnston, where
- 2:29:44Speaker 4: are the Republicans? This guy is a dummy. That's how
- 2:29:49Speaker 4: he's thinking. He shouldn't even be driving. He shouldn't be
- 2:29:54Speaker 4: in charge of anything. He's questioning a United States admiral.
- 2:30:00Speaker 4: Do you know what it takes to become a United
- 2:30:03Speaker 4: States admiral? Our brave submariners, a commander of a submarine,
- 2:30:13Speaker 4: he has to be an engineer, navigator, a warrior. A
- 2:30:19Speaker 4: commander in charge of a aircraft carrier it's like a
- 2:30:25Speaker 4: city not a town a city with all the infrastructure
- 2:30:31Speaker 4: and by the way it's powered by nuclear power you
- 2:30:35Speaker 4: understand what I'm saying how these people they got elected
- 2:30:39Speaker 4: so what they're useless that's why as John Fuller was
- 2:30:45Speaker 4: pointing out we're plus 40 trillion in debt how it's
- 2:30:49Speaker 4: going to get out of it how They're not even
- 2:30:53Speaker 4: considering stopping spending. It's not even in their sight. In
- 2:31:00Speaker 4: the city of Norwich, for the last four years, I've
- 2:31:03Speaker 4: been attending the council. Never once did they have a meeting.
- 2:31:07Speaker 4: Let's brainstorm how we're going to reduce our burden on
- 2:31:12Speaker 4: our taxpayers. Not once, ever. It's all about spending. Spending. Well,
- 2:31:18Speaker 4: we need this. We need that. They're going to buy
- 2:31:24Speaker 4: a $ 375, 000. It's coming, by the way, Norwich. One of
- 2:31:27Speaker 4: these fancy armored SUV above the two they already have.
- 2:31:34Speaker 62: How do you get to, whoa.
- 2:31:36Speaker 4: Spending, spending, spending. It's all they know. Because somewhere, somehow,
- 2:31:42Speaker 4: somebody And I don't know who they're making out. They're
- 2:31:47Speaker 4: making something. They're not honorable. They're not honest. The majority
- 2:31:53Speaker 4: of them. That's my take. Oh, let's go to Dan
- 2:31:57Speaker 4: in East Hampton, Long Island. Good morning, Dan.
- 2:32:00Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 2:32:02Speaker 21: Hey, good morning.
- 2:32:03Speaker 52: Thanks for taking the call. I wanted to say I'm
- 2:32:05Speaker 52: glad you played that clip with that congressman because otherwise
- 2:32:08Speaker 52: I'd be calling in the middle of all these geniuses.
- 2:32:10Speaker 52: I'd feel pretty dumb. But now I feel good about myself.
- 2:32:14Speaker 52: So that's good.
- 2:32:15Speaker 21: Yes.
- 2:32:16Speaker 52: Um, you know, if you had a credit card and
- 2:32:19Speaker 52: your interest rates, you know, went from eight or 9%
- 2:32:23Speaker 52: to 30% in a, you know, over a short period
- 2:32:29Speaker 52: of time, there would be an investigation, right? Everybody would
- 2:32:33Speaker 52: be calling for an investigation. Now they kind of do
- 2:32:35Speaker 52: that anyway, but, but we all look at, uh, you know,
- 2:32:38Speaker 52: credit cards as sort of, you know, a, uh, predatory
- 2:32:44Speaker 52: lender in a way. You know, you get in trouble
- 2:32:46Speaker 52: with the credit card and you can't get out of it. But,
- 2:32:48Speaker 52: you know, your tax bill, your property tax bill routinely
- 2:32:52Speaker 52: goes up 30%, 20% without any warning, without any negotiation.
- 2:33:01Speaker 52: They just assign this and it's like, okay, well, you
- 2:33:05Speaker 52: can either pay up Or you can be homeless. Yes.
- 2:33:09Speaker 52: And that's basically what the Democrats are saying. There's two
- 2:33:13Speaker 52: constituencies out there. There's the payers and there's the takers.
- 2:33:19Speaker 52: And I think we have reached a tipping point in
- 2:33:22Speaker 52: New England where you can't do anything about coughing up
- 2:33:28Speaker 52: the money. There's only two things that you could do.
- 2:33:31Speaker 52: You can check out, stop working. Stop chasing the American dream.
- 2:33:36Speaker 52: Stop chasing a better life for you. And get on
- 2:33:39Speaker 52: the government handout program.
- 2:33:41Speaker 8: Right?
- 2:33:43Speaker 52: Or you can move away.
- 2:33:46Speaker 21: You know?
- 2:33:47Speaker 52: But there's no other option. They just assign the debt
- 2:33:52Speaker 52: to you. They just spend it. And then when you
- 2:33:56Speaker 52: stand up and say, hey, wait a minute. I'm getting
- 2:33:58Speaker 52: killed on my tax bill.
- 2:33:59Speaker 37: Yes.
- 2:34:00Speaker 8: There's 25 people.
- 2:34:00Speaker 27: Right?
- 2:34:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:34:03Speaker 52: And all the sob stories in the world about how
- 2:34:06Speaker 52: you're so mean because you want to cut off children's
- 2:34:09Speaker 52: food or, you know, medical care to illegal aliens or
- 2:34:14Speaker 52: whatever it is. And so you're outnumbered, right? This is
- 2:34:20Speaker 52: the socialist way. And so when you get to a
- 2:34:23Speaker 52: certain point, like just look through Europe now what's happening, everybody.
- 2:34:27Speaker 21: Look at it.
- 2:34:30Speaker 52: Paris, I think there's something going on in Paris.
- 2:34:32Speaker 21: Rome, is it?
- 2:34:33Speaker 52: I think I saw it. Anyway, in Tel Aviv.
- 2:34:35Speaker 8: Yes, yes.
- 2:34:36Speaker 21: Rioting.
- 2:34:36Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 2:34:37Speaker 21: France.
- 2:34:37Speaker 52: Rioting surrounding the elections. Crooked and fixed elections. Total destruction
- 2:34:43Speaker 52: and chaos. That's the Democrat socialist vision for your life,
- 2:34:49Speaker 52: for your future. And I know that it sucks sometimes
- 2:34:52Speaker 52: to go in there and hold your nose and stifle
- 2:34:55Speaker 52: the gag reflex and vote for somebody that's less than perfect.
- 2:34:59Speaker 52: But you've got to go out and vote. You have
- 2:35:01Speaker 52: got to go out there and pull the lever for
- 2:35:05Speaker 52: the one that you think is going to do the
- 2:35:06Speaker 52: best job at not wrecking the country. And I'm sorry.
- 2:35:12Speaker 52: Don't let perfection stand in the way of pretty good.
- 2:35:16Speaker 52: Like John was saying, 9% and Reed, two brilliant minds
- 2:35:20Speaker 52: coming together with the numbers, just a few percentage points
- 2:35:23Speaker 52: more people is all we need. It's not right that
- 2:35:27Speaker 52: we should have no representation in all of New England.
- 2:35:30Speaker 4: Dan, by the way, since I've been confronting City of
- 2:35:33Speaker 4: Norwich at the council meeting, the mayor before in 2024
- 2:35:38Speaker 4: was a Republican, so-called Republican, and then now it's a Democrat.
- 2:35:44Speaker 4: They look at me like I'm a rebel. They don't understand,
- 2:35:49Speaker 4: just like you eloquently stated— They didn't ask our permission.
- 2:35:54Speaker 4: They just keep spending, increasing our taxes because they can.
- 2:36:00Speaker 4: Because it shouldn't always be Rocky and maybe one or
- 2:36:03Speaker 4: two others. It should be by the hundreds.
- 2:36:05Speaker 52: And, I mean, you can spend and live large. I mean,
- 2:36:08Speaker 52: that's the American way. We're all about big and expensive things.
- 2:36:12Speaker 52: When you're making money, when you're doing something smart. But
- 2:36:15Speaker 52: you can't just turn around and destroy all the businesses,
- 2:36:19Speaker 52: tax everybody to death. put all the burden on somebody
- 2:36:25Speaker 52: that's trying to start a small business until they can't
- 2:36:27Speaker 52: exist anymore. I mean, look around, man. You want only
- 2:36:30Speaker 52: chain stores the rest of your life, no more small shops,
- 2:36:34Speaker 52: no more entrepreneurship, no more small mom-and-pop stores. Is that
- 2:36:38Speaker 52: what you want? Because that's what you're getting, and you're
- 2:36:40Speaker 52: getting it because those big places are easier to control.
- 2:36:44Speaker 52: The socialists have their hooks in them, and that's just
- 2:36:47Speaker 52: the way it works, man. And the future looks bleak
- 2:36:52Speaker 52: if we don't flip it over somehow.
- 2:36:55Speaker 8: I think we're in striking.
- 2:36:56Speaker 52: Range this time around because I think people's eyes are
- 2:36:58Speaker 52: open to this socialism.
- 2:36:59Speaker 4: Thank you, Dan. Thank you, Dan. God bless you. Real,
- 2:37:02Speaker 4: real quick, before we go to Jim and Lisbon, good morning.
- 2:37:06Speaker 4: Even though I miss LELC, you and everyone else filling
- 2:37:11Speaker 4: in are doing an amazing job. Take care of yourself.
- 2:37:14Speaker 4: This cold is going around. are on the same path
- 2:37:19Speaker 4: but getting better. Thank you, Jewel and Julia and her husband. Real,
- 2:37:25Speaker 4: real quick, Jim in Lisbon, Connecticut. Good morning, Jim.
- 2:37:28Speaker 70: Good morning, Rocky.
- 2:37:30Speaker 29: Staying with the same theme that's been presented this morning,
- 2:37:34Speaker 29: I'd like to challenge a group of people who, according
- 2:37:37Speaker 29: to all reports, are very poor at turning out for elections.
- 2:37:42Speaker 29: So I want to encourage everybody.
- 2:37:44Speaker 8: To go and vote.
- 2:37:46Speaker 29: And the group I'm talking about is our brothers and
- 2:37:48Speaker 29: sisters in Christ. And we know that we trust God.
- 2:37:52Speaker 29: We know that God's in control. But he often works
- 2:37:56Speaker 29: through us.
- 2:37:57Speaker 8: And so the message we should receive from God, and we.
- 2:38:00Speaker 29: Can recite passages from the Bible, that tell us.
- 2:38:04Speaker 8: To go out and vote.
- 2:38:07Speaker 29: He will guide us. He will provide us with the
- 2:38:09Speaker 29: right people.
- 2:38:10Speaker 52: Pray, pray, pray.
- 2:38:13Speaker 8: Thank you, Jim.
- 2:38:14Speaker 4: Thank you, Jim. Folks, let's vote.
- 2:38:16Speaker 21: But vote.
- 2:38:18Speaker 4: With an open understanding who you're voting for. Please understand.
- 2:38:25Speaker 4: If a person running for office hates freedom, they're no good.
- 2:38:31Speaker 4: They're no good. I'm going to go back home. I'm
- 2:38:35Speaker 4: going to go back to Italy because they're socialists over there.
- 2:38:37Speaker 4: By the way, when the call was made about being
- 2:38:41Speaker 4: in a hospital here, Health insurance in Italy is socialized.
- 2:38:46Speaker 4: When I was 18 years old, I got appendix operation.
- 2:38:49Speaker 4: It didn't cost me a dime. But let me tell
- 2:38:52Speaker 4: you something. That's an easy operation. If you had to
- 2:38:54Speaker 4: have major, major surgery, it would be months of waiting
- 2:38:59Speaker 4: unless you can afford a private clinic. You see how
- 2:39:04Speaker 4: it works? If you can afford a private clinic, the
- 2:39:07Speaker 4: surgeon in the morning, top-notch surgeon people with very sophisticated equipment,
- 2:39:15Speaker 4: private clinic, you go the next day. They'll fit you
- 2:39:18Speaker 4: in right away. But if you want to wait, if
- 2:39:21Speaker 4: you have something major. So this dream of the socialized medicine,
- 2:39:28Speaker 4: while it works for something simple, it doesn't for something major.
- 2:39:34Speaker 4: Trust me. We lived it. We're going to go. God
- 2:39:38Speaker 4: bless you all. May the 20th District change hands. Come
- 2:39:43Speaker 4: next Tuesday. God bless you and God bless the United
- 2:39:47Speaker 4: States of America.
- 2:39:48Speaker 49: Ciao.
