- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, let's go just starting this brand new week.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Thank you for joining us, everybody. Ricky Sanchez is right
- 0:08Speaker 2: here with those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 3: A fire destroyed local nightclub Minerva av over the weekend.
- 0:13Speaker 3: A fire ripped through the North National Hotspot after a
- 0:16Speaker 3: Fourth of July celebration.
- 0:17Speaker 4: The bar released a statement on social.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Media Sunday morning stating that while the fire remains under investigation,
- 0:23Speaker 3: it's believed that fireworks may have contributed to the fire.
- 0:27Speaker 3: The bar also wrote in their caption on their social
- 0:30Speaker 3: media that if you're looking to help support them, there
- 0:34Speaker 3: is someone on their team that you can reach out to.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Their email address and information is in their social media post.
- 0:40Speaker 3: They also signed off with a quote saying see you
- 0:43Speaker 3: soon hashtag minervas strong. So hopefully they can, you know,
- 0:47Speaker 3: build back stronger and better than ever. We hate to
- 0:49Speaker 3: see things like this happen, especially to local places and places.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Here in our community that we care about so much.
- 0:54Speaker 3: So hopefully we can all help band together and we
- 0:58Speaker 3: can get them back up and running soon. Joey Chestnut
- 1:01Speaker 3: won his seventeenth Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest. This is
- 1:05Speaker 3: his big triumphant return to the competition this year after
- 1:09Speaker 3: he was barred from participating due to sponsorship conflicts. He
- 1:13Speaker 3: ate seventy point five hot dogs and buns in ten
- 1:16Speaker 3: minutes this year.
- 1:18Speaker 4: The second place finisher.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Just give you an idea of how many hot dogs
- 1:21Speaker 3: that actually is second place only eight forty six.
- 1:24Speaker 4: I'm saying only because when you compare forty.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Six to seventy point five, that's insane. But even forty
- 1:30Speaker 3: six is wild to think about.
- 1:32Speaker 2: The throat goat super impressive.
- 1:35Speaker 3: But that is five and a half hot dogs and
- 1:37Speaker 3: buns short of beating his world record, which is what
- 1:39Speaker 3: he was hoping to do.
- 1:40Speaker 4: He's still won, though, so that's a big deal. And
- 1:43Speaker 4: Chuck E. Cheese is opening adult arcades. This is amazing.
- 1:47Speaker 4: I'm very excited about this.
- 1:48Speaker 3: I hope that we get one in Tennessee or Middle
- 1:50Speaker 3: Tennessee at some point. But it's called Chuck's Arcade. It's
- 1:53Speaker 3: a spinoff version of Chuck E Cheese for adults. Each
- 1:56Speaker 3: location is quote overseen by an animatronic character.
- 2:00Speaker 4: The ones that they got rid of are back for us,
- 2:02Speaker 4: the adults.
- 2:03Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 2:04Speaker 3: So it ranges from Chuck E Cheese himself to other
- 2:07Speaker 3: lesser known icons all for munches make Believe band.
- 2:11Speaker 4: So far they have.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Ten that have opened up across the country, a lot
- 2:14Speaker 3: of them in malls.
- 2:16Speaker 2: It's such a good idea, it really is.
- 2:18Speaker 4: They're going to open more soon.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Like I said, hopefully we get one in Middle Tennessee
- 2:21Speaker 3: at some point. If we do, I will let you know.
- 2:23Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 2:25Speaker 3: need to know.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Ricky, appreciate that. And am I
- 2:28Speaker 2: reading this right?
- 2:29Speaker 5: That?
- 2:29Speaker 2: Coming up for the first call of the day, we
- 2:31Speaker 2: have tickets to see Teresa Capudo.
- 2:32Speaker 4: You are reading that correctly. Yes, psychic, the psychic Teresa.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Tlc uh huh, just coming here and we've got it
- 2:38Speaker 2: going to be a tea pack. Wow, you can win
- 2:41Speaker 2: those coming up with the first caller for the first
- 2:43Speaker 2: caller in about twelve minutes.
- 2:44Speaker 6: We've got them all week right here on the River
- 2:47Speaker 6: seven Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morningsa in Nashville.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Good morning, Welcome to one oh seven five the River.
- 2:54Speaker 3: How you doing this morning?
- 2:56Speaker 6: Good?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Are you?
- 2:57Speaker 4: We're good? I think we're a.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Little sleepy from the weekend. Obviously a long weekend.
- 3:02Speaker 2: It was it felt very long to me. I don't know.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Why Kevin hates time off.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I know, I don't really hate time off. I mean,
- 3:12Speaker 2: I love my job. I miss being here. But yeah,
- 3:14Speaker 2: I reached out to Ricky yesterday. I felt like I
- 3:16Speaker 2: hadn't talked to her in a month. I don't know,
- 3:17Speaker 2: it was just it was weird. How was your weekend?
- 3:19Speaker 2: Tell us about your fourth.
- 3:21Speaker 7: It was to some branchileice and what's that's the firework?
- 3:27Speaker 2: Good?
- 3:28Speaker 4: Yeah, love to hear it. Happy that you had a
- 3:30Speaker 4: great weekend, and happy that you're here with us this morning.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Thank you for listening.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Teresa, you are the first caller of the day. Yeah,
- 3:39Speaker 3: you're going to see Teresa Kabudo.
- 3:40Speaker 4: At teapag.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Another Teresa. Yeah, are you familiar with her work?
- 3:46Speaker 5: I am?
- 3:48Speaker 2: Okay?
- 3:48Speaker 7: Good?
- 3:48Speaker 2: And are you a believer? I don't mean to you know,
- 3:51Speaker 2: cast suspicions or anything, but I'm just I'm wondering if
- 3:54Speaker 2: you buy in.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Okay, maybe the live show teaming is really what it
- 4:02Speaker 3: comes down to, your spirit things out there?
- 4:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we did too. Ricky grew up in a haunted house.
- 4:09Speaker 4: I did. Indeed, every place I've ever worked just been haunted.
- 4:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:13Speaker 4: See, like it's a thing. It's real.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Theresa Kabudo's gonna talk to all of them. I know
- 4:18Speaker 3: there's probably a few at tea pack.
- 4:19Speaker 6: I'm sure, all.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Right, Teresa, thank you for calling hang out so we
- 4:23Speaker 2: can get all your information. But have fun at this thing.
- 4:25Speaker 2: It's August seventeenth, the Tea Peck awesome.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Thank you, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Rick you're very plugged in. You know what's going on.
- 4:34Speaker 2: You got your finger on the pulse. But I do
- 4:36Speaker 2: want to try. You're welcome. I want to try to
- 4:39Speaker 2: introduce a new, very helpful app into your life.
- 4:43Speaker 4: This is scary because I don't feel like it's gonna
- 4:45Speaker 4: be helpful at all.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Oh, it really is. It's something I kind of forgot
- 4:47Speaker 2: that I had on my phone, and then I just
- 4:49Speaker 2: was talking to some friends about it over the weekend
- 4:50Speaker 2: and I blew all over their minds. I didn't even
- 4:52Speaker 2: know this existed. It's extremely helpful.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Okay, you're gonna help everyone out and kidding me.
- 4:58Speaker 6: You might know about it, but I'm gonna tell next
- 5:00Speaker 6: on the river, Ricky Zach.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Is about to enlighten all of us and change our lives. Apparently,
- 5:08Speaker 3: it's one of seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Mano in the morning.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Kevin, you have an app that you said is going
- 5:14Speaker 3: to be like life changing.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I'm very curious to see if you already know about this,
- 5:18Speaker 2: because everybody I talked to you about this over the weekend,
- 5:20Speaker 2: nobody was familiar with it. But you are plugged in.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Okay, what is the app?
- 5:24Speaker 2: Run P?
- 5:26Speaker 4: Run P? Run P P isn't like pee, that's it? Okay? Uh,
- 5:33Speaker 4: what this is?
- 5:34Speaker 2: I get to introduce something new to Ricky to everybody
- 5:36Speaker 2: if you're not familiar with run P. I went to
- 5:38Speaker 2: go see F one recently with some friends and I
- 5:40Speaker 2: told them about run P. It will in a movie
- 5:44Speaker 2: give you the times to go pee.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Yes you have heard of this, Okay.
- 5:47Speaker 2: You just didn't know the name. But yeah, it'll like
- 5:49Speaker 2: I haven't pulled up right here. Let's say Jurassic World.
- 5:51Speaker 2: If you're going to see this new Jurassic you.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Will look up any movie, yeah, and it'll tell you
- 5:55Speaker 3: exactly the right times to go run to the bathroom.
- 5:57Speaker 2: It says P time one of three during World, right
- 6:01Speaker 2: after Scarlett Johansson's twenty minutes, and she says, that's kind
- 6:04Speaker 2: of our specialty. Doctor Loomis and then you have like
- 6:07Speaker 2: a minute and a half before anything exciting happens.
- 6:10Speaker 4: I feel like that would really bother me to know that, though.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Oh really see I look, I had to peece so
- 6:15Speaker 2: bad and I was just waiting for it during.
- 6:17Speaker 3: The hot so because like then the loulls, I'm going
- 6:19Speaker 3: to know where the lolls are and that's going to
- 6:21Speaker 3: frustrate me.
- 6:22Speaker 2: But only look at it if you have to pee.
- 6:23Speaker 2: You don't have to just look at it. You know
- 6:25Speaker 2: when the lolls are coming.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Yeah, But for me, I would I would want to.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Know if you're sitting in a theater though, and you're like, antsy,
- 6:31Speaker 2: you gotta go to the bathroom.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Get out there be beneficial. I mean Melissa and I
- 6:36Speaker 4: she works here with us. She's one of my best friends.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Whenever we go to concerts, we always look at the
- 6:40Speaker 3: set list before the concert because we want to know
- 6:44Speaker 3: when we can go to the bathroom. And then we
- 6:45Speaker 3: kind of you know, divvy it out of oh, we
- 6:47Speaker 3: don't really care if we see this song, or like,
- 6:50Speaker 3: oh that's the perfect time to go get merch.
- 6:52Speaker 2: So you should launch your run pee for concerts. App
- 6:55Speaker 2: I think.
- 6:56Speaker 4: That's not a bad idea, can't really not. This might
- 6:58Speaker 4: be my new side hustle.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I hope this if somebody out there, because for me,
- 7:01Speaker 2: it's a game changer. When you go see a movie,
- 7:04Speaker 2: run pee. I think it's also we.
- 7:06Speaker 3: When never Kevin's not passed out at the.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Movies in the chairs.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Well, now you're making me sound like a real dirt bag.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Just I take a nap when I go see kids
- 7:14Speaker 2: movies with my kids. I see it at the dark theater.
- 7:17Speaker 2: It's a perfect place to name. Yeah, I just go
- 7:20Speaker 2: get hammered and pass out in the theater.
- 7:24Speaker 4: The hammerdart.
- 7:25Speaker 2: That's the way you've painted it. Run pee. There you go.
- 7:28Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 7:29Speaker 4: Three things you need to know.
- 7:31Speaker 2: All right, let's go just after seven o'clock on this
- 7:33Speaker 2: Monday morning. Thank you for being here. Ricky's got those
- 7:36Speaker 2: three things.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Eighty two people lost their lives in Central Texas over
- 7:39Speaker 3: the weekend due to catastrophic flooding. They're still looking for
- 7:42Speaker 3: dozens of people who are missing. Care County was hit
- 7:45Speaker 3: the hardest. Or twenty eight children were swept away as
- 7:47Speaker 3: the Guadaloupe River rose more than twenty feet in less
- 7:51Speaker 3: than two hours during the peak of flooding.
- 7:53Speaker 4: The Guadalupe River.
- 7:55Speaker 3: The flood was a one in one hundred year event,
- 7:58Speaker 3: that's about a one percent chance of happening any given year,
- 8:01Speaker 3: but extremely flooding is happening more frequently, especially in these areas.
- 8:05Speaker 3: As of now, more rainfall is expected in those areas
- 8:09Speaker 3: that were affected by.
- 8:10Speaker 4: The flooding over the weekend.
- 8:12Speaker 3: The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has launched
- 8:16Speaker 3: their Care County Food Relief Fund. All donations to Communityfoundation
- 8:20Speaker 3: dot net are going to go directly to trusted local
- 8:23Speaker 3: organizations to help provide food, shelter, and healthcare to the
- 8:27Speaker 3: areas that are going through this devastating time. Like I said,
- 8:30Speaker 3: they are expecting a lot more rainfall, so there's going
- 8:33Speaker 3: to be a lot more people that are going to
- 8:35Speaker 3: need more and more help. If you can help in
- 8:37Speaker 3: any way, shape or form, go check out Community Foundation.
- 8:40Speaker 4: Dot net and you do what you can.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Kelly Clarkson abruptly postponed her Vegas residency right before opening night.
- 8:49Speaker 3: People were already inside of her residency ready to go.
- 8:53Speaker 3: She noted that she needed to protect her voice from damage.
- 8:56Speaker 3: After very intense rehearsals her residency, called Studio Sessions, was
- 9:01Speaker 3: set to debut on fourth of July in Las Vegas
- 9:03Speaker 3: and continue through mid August, with a break that was
- 9:06Speaker 3: set with her to return in November for four more dates.
- 9:11Speaker 3: It's now expected that July eleventh, so this Friday, will
- 9:14Speaker 3: kickstart the residency. Liquid Death is teamed up with Fruity Pebbles.
- 9:19Speaker 3: This is so weird, the weirdest collab. We hear a
- 9:22Speaker 3: lot of weird collabs, and this one's interesting. It's a
- 9:25Speaker 3: new sparkling water flavor that is supposed to taste exactly
- 9:28Speaker 3: like Fruity Pebbles. It's called Cereal Criminal. People originally thought
- 9:32Speaker 3: this was a fake. They saw it all over social
- 9:34Speaker 3: media and they said, absolutely no way is this real.
- 9:36Speaker 3: But it's popping up all over the country.
- 9:38Speaker 2: And I love the flavored Liquid Death.
- 9:41Speaker 4: You love Liquid Death.
- 9:41Speaker 2: We love them all. Honestly. I think Deft is so good.
- 9:44Speaker 2: But this, I don't even want to try this.
- 9:45Speaker 4: You gotta try it, Okay, I'll try it. You have
- 9:48Speaker 4: to try it.
- 9:49Speaker 3: We will all try it on air because I think
- 9:51Speaker 3: that this is gonna be the weirdest one that we try.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Yeah, because they have.
- 9:54Speaker 4: A lot of ones, Like you said.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Very delightful. Lime flavor cherry flavor. Very typical. You know,
- 9:59Speaker 3: run of the mill. Serial criminal is the newest one.
- 10:02Speaker 3: You're gonna start to see it popping up all over
- 10:04Speaker 3: the place.
- 10:04Speaker 4: There is no like.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Official announcement by them or fruity pebbles about this, so
- 10:09Speaker 3: they're just kind of quietly putting them on shelves. So
- 10:12Speaker 3: if you find them, try them out. I'm Ricky Sanchez
- 10:14Speaker 3: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Ricky. We're gonna play Miles Smith
- 10:19Speaker 2: right here, and then it's time for Zack's facts. But
- 10:21Speaker 2: Zach is not here. Falls into my hands. Zach'spax presented
- 10:25Speaker 2: by Kevin Manow and it's a good one, I hope.
- 10:28Speaker 2: So next rivers.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the mors.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Zack is out today.
- 10:34Speaker 3: That means the Kevin's filling in for Zach Spax on
- 10:37Speaker 3: one oh seven five.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Of the River.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it's about mccaullay Culkin. You know McCaulay Culkin. Of
- 10:41Speaker 2: course I do home alone Coley Culkin. His real legal
- 10:45Speaker 2: name now is McCully mccullay Colkin Colkin.
- 10:51Speaker 4: How and why his middle name he was.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Born with was Carson McCully Carson Coulkin, but in twenty
- 10:57Speaker 2: nineteen he changed it legally. Not really sure why. His
- 11:00Speaker 2: middle name is now McCaulay Culkin. So his name is
- 11:02Speaker 2: mccullay mccaullay Culkin Culkin. There's no I.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Promise, it's a fact that's insane. Thank you, Kevin, You're welcome.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the want to ask.
- 11:14Speaker 3: A question that I think everyone should have the same
- 11:17Speaker 3: answer on, but I fear that we won't. Is it
- 11:20Speaker 3: too early to start decorating for Halloween?
- 11:24Speaker 2: It is July seventh, I did. I saw some people
- 11:28Speaker 2: online saying like, as soon as that last last firework
- 11:30Speaker 2: goes off, they're getting out the skeletons.
- 11:32Speaker 3: I have seen nothing but Halloween decorations all over my
- 11:35Speaker 3: social media. Ye crazy, And people are already starting to
- 11:38Speaker 3: post like the new things that home Depot gets that
- 11:41Speaker 3: you can put outside your house, and you know, all
- 11:43Speaker 3: of like what the trends are going to be this Halloween.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I kind of get it. I don't know. I mean,
- 11:47Speaker 2: I'm not getting mine out. I'm not doing it, But like,
- 11:49Speaker 2: I wouldn't be mad if I saw one of my
- 11:51Speaker 2: neighbors get the giant skeleton in the front.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Yard six one five, seven, three seven nine, one oh seven.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Call in tell us right now one oh.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Seven five the river. Is it too early to start
- 12:01Speaker 3: decorating for Halloween?
- 12:04Speaker 1: RANKI, Zach and men in the Jill.
- 12:07Speaker 3: And Ridge shop on the line tell us, Is it
- 12:09Speaker 3: too early to start decorating for Halloween? Because it's all
- 12:12Speaker 3: we see all over social media right now?
- 12:14Speaker 7: Absolutely not.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm so happy to get this call. I really
- 12:22Speaker 2: expected everyone to just say no, it's it's way too early.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Too early. I love Halloween, It's my favorite holiday. But no,
- 12:31Speaker 7: I mean, Jane Joffe is the official Spookie season kickoff.
- 12:37Speaker 4: I love that. I think that's hilarious.
- 12:40Speaker 3: But I will say, like, I give everybody a lot
- 12:42Speaker 3: of grief for starting to decorate too early for Christmas,
- 12:45Speaker 3: So I kind of I feel.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Like I got to stay in line with that. I
- 12:48Speaker 4: think it might you don't like Christmas, Christmas, I know
- 12:51Speaker 4: you do.
- 12:51Speaker 2: You do like Halloween those Halloween I'm surprised that you're anti.
- 12:55Speaker 3: I gotta stay in line with the same thought process.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I think it's a little bit too early. When are
- 13:00Speaker 3: you gonna start decorating?
- 13:01Speaker 4: Jill?
- 13:02Speaker 7: Well, my mom says, you know, spooky stuff all the
- 13:05Speaker 7: time in it. So, but we get our animatronics and
- 13:08Speaker 7: stuff out about this time, you know. So it's I
- 13:14Speaker 7: don't think it's ever too early. Whatever you want to do,
- 13:17Speaker 7: feel it.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Yeah, who cares. You're awesome, Jill. Thank you for calling.
- 13:21Speaker 2: We appreciate this all right.
- 13:22Speaker 5: You're welcome.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Love to day you too. Let's get one more opinion,
- 13:26Speaker 2: real quick, Robin, go ahead. Do you think it's too early?
- 13:29Speaker 3: I don't think it's too early.
- 13:31Speaker 1: To some people.
- 13:32Speaker 7: There's hard to find the joy in life anymore. So
- 13:36Speaker 7: love we're bringing somebody some happiness.
- 13:38Speaker 3: I say, go for it.
- 13:39Speaker 2: It's hard to find joy in life anymore.
- 13:42Speaker 4: It's a sad reality.
- 13:43Speaker 3: But Robin's got a point, like, if there are little
- 13:45Speaker 3: things that can bring you joy, maybe we just let
- 13:47Speaker 3: people do it.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Are we winning you over, Ricky or I don't know.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Maybe? But I still I hate what people do Christmas
- 13:52Speaker 4: too early. I don't know. I'm torn right now. I'm torn.
- 13:56Speaker 7: I personally am waiting till September.
- 13:58Speaker 4: But I think September is reasonable.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I mean, I won't I won't be mad if my
- 14:02Speaker 2: my neighbors start doing it.
- 14:04Speaker 7: That's fine with me.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Okay, Robin, thank you for calling. We appreciate you. You
- 14:08Speaker 2: have a wonderful day. I can't believe that you're the
- 14:12Speaker 2: only one saying no to Halloween. I thought this would be.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Really just because I say no to Christmas. Are you
- 14:19Speaker 3: gonna put your big skeleton out? You got a big
- 14:22Speaker 3: like what is that? Like the sixty foot skeleton?
- 14:26Speaker 2: How big is he? Thirteen feet? He is the big
- 14:28Speaker 2: home depot one. But no, I don't think we're gonna
- 14:29Speaker 2: ge him.
- 14:29Speaker 4: Out quite yet. No, when do you normally start decorating
- 14:32Speaker 4: them for Halloween?
- 14:33Speaker 2: Think September, September, good September.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Family loves to decorate.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I like something exciting on the outside of a house,
- 14:41Speaker 2: you know.
- 14:41Speaker 4: The boring.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I'm not judging that.
- 14:43Speaker 4: I'm not judging that at all.
- 14:44Speaker 3: I saw this, like they have this new skeleton dj set.
- 14:47Speaker 3: I think, get home deepot over one of those places
- 14:49Speaker 3: and just pop it up on my social media.
- 14:51Speaker 4: I want to buy a house just so I can
- 14:53Speaker 4: buy that to put it outside of my house.
- 14:54Speaker 2: You should do it.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Rickie, Zach and Meno in the morn to play Kevin
- 15:00Speaker 3: Mano's Game of the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds for
- 15:03Speaker 3: tickets to see Kesha.
- 15:05Speaker 4: It's gonna be at a cent Amphitheater July fifteenth. That's soon.
- 15:08Speaker 4: That's next Tuesday, next week.
- 15:09Speaker 3: So yo, hope you're ready for this. I'm excited for
- 15:13Speaker 3: Kesha to be here. You could go for free if.
- 15:15Speaker 2: You win homecoming show for Kesha. We're playing topical trivia
- 15:19Speaker 2: at all Classic Games. Some questions trivia questions just sort
- 15:22Speaker 2: of rip from the headlines, some of the more light
- 15:24Speaker 2: lighthearted headlines. Now, yeah, there's a lot of negative stuff
- 15:28Speaker 2: going on in the world right now. We're gonna stick
- 15:29Speaker 2: to the good, posident stuff, the positive stuff. Six seven, three,
- 15:33Speaker 2: seven nine, one oh seven. If you can answer some questions,
- 15:37Speaker 2: you're gonna get these tickets to see Kesha again next
- 15:40Speaker 2: week at a send Amphitheater.
- 15:41Speaker 1: We're playing next on the River seven five Ricky, Zach
- 15:45Speaker 1: and Meno in the morning.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Oh seven five the River.
- 15:47Speaker 3: It's time for us to play Kevin Mano's Game of
- 15:50Speaker 3: the day. We are playing for Kesha tickets a send
- 15:53Speaker 3: Amphitheater July fifteenth, which.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Is next week. I can't believe July fifteenth is next week.
- 15:57Speaker 4: That's wild to me.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Let's say good morning to Shawna in Nashville. Shauna, how
- 16:01Speaker 2: you doing.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm doing good.
- 16:04Speaker 2: I was your fourth of July a hot. Yeah.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a hot weekend. It's it's not gonna
- 16:11Speaker 3: cool down anytime soon.
- 16:12Speaker 2: So you want to go see Kasha?
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 16:15Speaker 2: All right, you gotta answer these questions. You get two
- 16:18Speaker 2: out of three of them and you're on your way. Okay,
- 16:20Speaker 2: all right, Shauna, your game starts right now again. We're
- 16:25Speaker 2: playing topical trivia questions, ripping the headlines. This one might
- 16:28Speaker 2: be tough, but it is currently the number one movie
- 16:31Speaker 2: in the world. What is the full title of the
- 16:35Speaker 2: new Jurassic movie?
- 16:38Speaker 6: Oh?
- 16:38Speaker 5: Goodness, uh, Reaper Duractic World.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Wow? Okay, nice job, you pay attention.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Yeay.
- 16:48Speaker 4: At one point on the board.
- 16:50Speaker 2: What band featuring a pair of infamous brothers just performed
- 16:54Speaker 2: their first show together in sixteen years?
- 16:59Speaker 6: Oh?
- 17:05Speaker 4: I have no idea.
- 17:07Speaker 2: It's Oasis, Liam and Noel Gallagher.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Oh that's okay. If you get this one right, you're
- 17:12Speaker 4: gonna get the tickets.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Another music related question here, what member of the Spice
- 17:18Speaker 2: Girls just got married? You can give us her real
- 17:20Speaker 2: name or her Spice name.
- 17:22Speaker 5: Oh it is Melby.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Yes, very nice.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Congratulations you're gonna see Kasha next week.
- 17:34Speaker 4: Like I said, I still can't handle the fact it's
- 17:35Speaker 4: July fifteenth.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Next week, next week, July fifteenth, at a sand Amphitheater.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Congratulations, shot up.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Thank you three things you need to know?
- 17:44Speaker 2: Well, hello there, good to see you. Thank you for
- 17:46Speaker 2: starting your Monday with us. Ricky's got those three things.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Three people were injured in separate areas of downtown due
- 17:52Speaker 3: to an apparent gunfire from undetermined sources. These incidents has
- 17:56Speaker 3: happened during or shortly after the Fourth of July fireworks.
- 18:00Speaker 3: A six year old man, a fifty eight year old woman,
- 18:02Speaker 3: and a twenty six year old woman were injured. All
- 18:05Speaker 3: three were taken to Vanderbilt for treatment and were among
- 18:07Speaker 3: the estimated three hundred and sixty five thousand people who
- 18:11Speaker 3: attended nationals Let Freedom Sing celebration. They believe that the
- 18:15Speaker 3: gunshots were in celebration. So I'm gonna go ahead and
- 18:18Speaker 3: say this right now.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 18:20Speaker 3: No, don't do that in a crowded area, Don't do
- 18:23Speaker 3: that when people are around.
- 18:24Speaker 4: Just don't do that. That's a bad idea. Luckily, all
- 18:27Speaker 4: three of them are okay.
- 18:29Speaker 3: They were treated at Vanderbilt and are okay and fine,
- 18:32Speaker 3: but still don't do that. Popular kids show Tiny Chef
- 18:36Speaker 3: needs some more help to be saved. This TV show
- 18:39Speaker 3: was on Nickelodeon and it was recently canceled. It's this
- 18:42Speaker 3: little like kind of puppet guy who makes food. He's
- 18:45Speaker 3: a little teeny tiny chef who lives in like a
- 18:47Speaker 3: little area and as little friends that cook with him.
- 18:49Speaker 7: It's a.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Stop motion stop motion yeah, but he's like.
- 18:53Speaker 3: A little puppet, like a little furry puppet kind of
- 18:55Speaker 3: looking guy.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Absolutely adorable.
- 18:58Speaker 3: The creators of Tiny Chef the most heartbreaking video showing
- 19:02Speaker 3: the Little Chef find out that he was canceled and
- 19:05Speaker 3: didn't have his show anymore. It took social media by storm.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Everybody was watching to keep up with what was happening
- 19:10Speaker 3: with them. They asked their five million followers to help
- 19:13Speaker 3: keep the Chef going. They did raise enough to keep
- 19:15Speaker 3: them on social media right now, because obviously it takes
- 19:17Speaker 3: a lot of people to create and make this kind
- 19:21Speaker 3: of stop motion puppeteering kind.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Of thing work.
- 19:25Speaker 3: But they're still looking to save his cooking show when
- 19:27Speaker 3: it comes to a network picking them up, so hopefully
- 19:29Speaker 3: that happens.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Please go follow him.
- 19:31Speaker 3: If you don't know who he is, because it really
- 19:33Speaker 3: is just so cute, even me as an adult.
- 19:35Speaker 4: I love Tiny Chef.
- 19:36Speaker 3: He's all over social media, TikTok, Instagram, everywhere. You just
- 19:39Speaker 3: search Tiny Chef. And the latest travel trend right now
- 19:43Speaker 3: is called plain yoga.
- 19:45Speaker 4: It's a thing they're starting to do it. So sitting
- 19:47Speaker 4: on a long.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Flight, you know, you start to feel stiff and uncomfortable
- 19:50Speaker 3: after a while.
- 19:51Speaker 4: So some of the flight crews have started to do plain.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Yoga exercises where they get on the pa and direct
- 19:57Speaker 3: passengers to move and bend their bodies. Great idea, but
- 20:01Speaker 3: even better for the flight crew because a lot of
- 20:02Speaker 3: them are using this to help themselves out as well,
- 20:05Speaker 3: because they ask you to touch your toes and then
- 20:08Speaker 3: they say, hey.
- 20:08Speaker 4: While you're down there, pick a bit of trash you
- 20:10Speaker 4: see on the ground. So it's kind of a win
- 20:13Speaker 4: win for everybody involved.
- 20:14Speaker 3: I'm actually not opposed to playing yoga by any means.
- 20:17Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 20:19Speaker 4: need to know.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Reiki, Zach and men.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Thirty seven percent of people say they know if they're
- 20:26Speaker 2: gonna have a good day or a bad day within
- 20:28Speaker 2: the first ten minutes of waking up ten minutes seems
- 20:31Speaker 2: extreme to me. I am still waking up in those
- 20:34Speaker 2: ten minutes, like I'm sort of stumbling around. Yeah, no, pee,
- 20:38Speaker 2: go brush my tath.
- 20:38Speaker 3: So you'll get up very early, that's true, like abnormally early.
- 20:42Speaker 4: Not everybody wakes up that early.
- 20:44Speaker 3: But there are keys that I have for whether or
- 20:46Speaker 3: not I'm gonna have a good or bad day. Like
- 20:48Speaker 3: I there's one very specific thing and it's not within
- 20:52Speaker 3: the first ten minutes, but one very specific thing that
- 20:54Speaker 3: if I know this happens, I'm not gonna have a
- 20:56Speaker 3: great day. Okay, if I hit a red light, like
- 21:00Speaker 3: the first red light that I.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Don't want to hit, you know you're gonna hit them
- 21:03Speaker 4: all And that ruins my dad.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that ruins the start of my day because I'm like, no, now,
- 21:09Speaker 3: I'm stuck at every single because the entire way to
- 21:11Speaker 3: work from here to to my house is just light.
- 21:15Speaker 3: So if I hit one red light, it's red light,
- 21:17Speaker 3: red light, red light, red light, And what should be
- 21:19Speaker 3: four minutes turns into what feels like twenty seven.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Okay, so real talk, Ricky, it's just you and I
- 21:24Speaker 2: and nobody's listening. We drive to work at like five
- 21:27Speaker 2: thirty in the morning, there's nobody else.
- 21:29Speaker 4: On the road, run the red lights if there's.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Nobody coming in any direction. Now, you never do.
- 21:33Speaker 4: No, I always wait and I stay.
- 21:36Speaker 3: And I think that's what makes me even more angry,
- 21:37Speaker 3: is that there's no Woody there and I'm sitting there
- 21:40Speaker 3: at the red light, and I'm like, I could be
- 21:41Speaker 3: at work already. Why am I still here at the
- 21:43Speaker 3: second red light that I have now hit?
- 21:45Speaker 4: This is dumb.
- 21:46Speaker 2: I think even if if there's a police officer out
- 21:49Speaker 2: there and you want to give me the you're blessing
- 21:51Speaker 2: to run red lights.
- 21:52Speaker 4: They're blessing to do that.
- 21:54Speaker 2: See some of the I live in Green Hills and
- 21:56Speaker 2: some of the intersections are flashing at that hour because
- 22:00Speaker 2: they know nobody's around. You can treat this like a
- 22:02Speaker 2: stop sign.
- 22:03Speaker 4: That's different.
- 22:03Speaker 2: I think that should apply to all lights at that hour.
- 22:05Speaker 3: And my first light right next to where my apartment
- 22:08Speaker 3: complex is used to be a flashing light. They don't
- 22:11Speaker 3: do it as late as they like, as into the
- 22:13Speaker 3: morning as they used to. Now they've changed the schedule,
- 22:16Speaker 3: and it really just messed me up.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Okay, I do think there is something too like for
- 22:20Speaker 2: me running late at all, that is the marker of
- 22:23Speaker 2: a bad day, because once you start running late, everything
- 22:25Speaker 2: goes wrong. You you know, your keys get stuck on something,
- 22:28Speaker 2: your belt loop gets stuck on the door, like all
- 22:31Speaker 2: these little things when you're running late, when you're already behind,
- 22:34Speaker 2: the wheels have fallen.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Off, and you know how I know I'm gonna have a
- 22:36Speaker 3: good day, though, How if I wake up before my alarm,
- 22:40Speaker 3: like right.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Before my alarm, because then I'm already.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Like if I just wake up and I'm like up,
- 22:44Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 4: This is good. I'm like I'm not groggy.
- 22:47Speaker 2: I'm like, oh not the alarm. Sure, it's already happening.
- 22:51Speaker 2: That is a good feeling.
- 22:51Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, okay, I'm awake, I'm up, I'm ready
- 22:53Speaker 3: to go. Let's start this day.
- 22:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:55Speaker 7: I do.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Even on weekends. I wake up way earlier than I
- 22:59Speaker 2: need to, just so I can have a little time
- 23:01Speaker 2: to myself before the rest of the family wakes up.
- 23:03Speaker 4: My body just wakes me up at this very important.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yeah, six three, seven, nine, one seven. How do you
- 23:08Speaker 2: know you're gonna have a good or a bad day?
- 23:10Speaker 1: Let us wake up happy with the Ricky is Zach
- 23:13Speaker 1: and Manno.
- 23:14Speaker 3: In the morning, Amy and Clarksville tell us, how you
- 23:17Speaker 3: know you're gonna have a good or bad day in
- 23:19Speaker 3: the morning.
- 23:20Speaker 5: If my kids, if I go in their room and
- 23:22Speaker 5: they just get right out of bed, it's gonna be
- 23:24Speaker 5: a good day. If I go in there and they
- 23:27Speaker 5: are roggy, they're rolling over, they don't want to listen
- 23:30Speaker 5: to me, bad day, I can tell.
- 23:32Speaker 2: So how often are they ready to go? What's the percentage?
- 23:37Speaker 5: It's about fifty fifty. I have twins, so they do feed.
- 23:41Speaker 6: Off of each other, so.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I can see how that could be.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Very overwhelming if it's because then it becomes your problem
- 23:50Speaker 3: right as the mom.
- 23:51Speaker 4: It's like, well, now this is your issue that I'm tired.
- 23:54Speaker 5: Yes, now today I've been off for the past five days.
- 23:57Speaker 5: But today they got right up, no issues, So it's
- 24:00Speaker 5: gonna be a good day. I'm going back to work.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Yes, that's awesome. Do they do they share a room?
- 24:06Speaker 4: These twins, they share a room.
- 24:08Speaker 5: They have bunk beds, but they sleep in the same bed.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Oh that's so cute.
- 24:13Speaker 4: That's drrible.
- 24:14Speaker 5: Yeah. How old are they the twins? They're six?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Wow, that's so cute. That's very very cute.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Well, Jamie, you're gonna have the best day ever. We're
- 24:23Speaker 3: so happy to hear that today's start off right.
- 24:25Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you. I love you guy, We love you.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I know.
- 24:30Speaker 3: My brother ruined my mom's mornings more often than he
- 24:34Speaker 3: made them because he's the groggy waker upper waking him
- 24:37Speaker 3: up in the morning. She used to pawn it off
- 24:40Speaker 3: to me. So with my dad, they'd be.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Like, go wake your brother up?
- 24:42Speaker 2: And was that bad?
- 24:43Speaker 4: He was so bad.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Now he's great, but as a kid, horrible high school.
- 24:49Speaker 3: He would make you miserable in the morning because you
- 24:50Speaker 3: would not get up.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Yeah, my brother could sleep for thirty hours straight.
- 24:54Speaker 4: If you with you, it's my brother.
- 24:55Speaker 6: Yeah, ky Zach and going on seven five the River.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Every day about this time we play some audio from
- 25:04Speaker 2: a video. We call it the Daily double Tap.
- 25:06Speaker 3: This one is an old one, but it's so good
- 25:08Speaker 3: because it's all about Fourth of July related. It went viral,
- 25:12Speaker 3: I believe two years ago, but she reposted as the
- 25:16Speaker 3: anniversary of her fourth of July mishapen.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it's fourth of July related and benadryl related. I
- 25:22Speaker 2: don't know how benadryl affects you. But affects her quite strongly.
- 25:26Speaker 4: No calls for panic or anything. But I was holding
- 25:28Speaker 4: a handful of vena drill to give my dog four
- 25:32Speaker 4: or five something like that, talking to my husband. I hate,
- 25:39Speaker 4: I hate. So I'm recording my last message before I
- 25:46Speaker 4: fall into a call for the next twelve to forteen
- 25:49Speaker 4: hours because a single kind of drill lets me down
- 25:54Speaker 4: for the count. I haven't even seen a firework. Yep, awesome, awesome,
- 26:01Speaker 4: And he's still walking around the house panting like crazy
- 26:03Speaker 4: because I ate his medicine. So happy Fourth of July.
- 26:08Speaker 3: She was trying to make it so her poor dog,
- 26:10Speaker 3: who doesn't like fireworks, could actually sleep through the fireworks,
- 26:13Speaker 3: and instead she she slept through the fireworks.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I don't I don't. I don't feel bad for her.
- 26:19Speaker 4: No, I don't think you can.
- 26:20Speaker 3: But also you can understand how if you're just in
- 26:22Speaker 3: the middle of a conversation and you're holding you're holding, uh,
- 26:26Speaker 3: you know, something in your hand that's a pill, and
- 26:28Speaker 3: you know it's a pill, and you just get caught
- 26:30Speaker 3: up in the conversation.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't think I relate. I don't
- 26:33Speaker 2: think I can relate. I don't know you don't just
- 26:35Speaker 2: accidentally take somebody else's medicine.
- 26:37Speaker 4: I could see you. I've never done it, not yet.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Don't you curse me with that. We're gonna post the
- 26:43Speaker 2: video if you haven't seen it, if you want to
- 26:44Speaker 2: share it at one oh seven five the River in
- 26:46Speaker 2: our Instagram story. So it's put the Daily Devil tap
- 26:48Speaker 2: up there.
- 26:49Speaker 1: One o seven the Raffie, Zach and Menno in the morning,
