- 0:00So I just got back from a trip. We were in Florida. So
- 0:02I flew out of a Hector International Airport. Always always a nice time.
- 0:07Is awesome though, isn't it. I mean you've been to a few airports
- 0:09as have I. It is just solid. Oh yeah, they got it
- 0:13down and it's getting bettering, you know what I mean. Definitely a smooth
- 0:16process. But I did notice on the way. On the way there,
- 0:19we're going through security and the elder statesman in front of me had his bag
- 0:24checked. You know, sometimes they randomly choose it seems like it's always my
- 0:27bag. So they start going through his bag because it appears they had found
- 0:30something in there and whoa, my man tried to get his knife through security.
- 0:35Yeah, knife, and it seemed forget that. It seemed like he
- 0:39had forgotten he didn't realize with in his bag and a pocket knife or is
- 0:42this like a machete? It was it was a sword. No, it
- 0:45was like more of a pocket knife, but it was a knife nonetheless.
- 0:48And so they basically said, hey, dude, I well, one can't
- 0:51do this too. I can just throw it away for you, or we
- 0:53can mail it to you, or you can go back and put in your
- 0:56car. Whatever you gotta do anyway, But there's a hack. So,
- 0:58you know, when it comes to liquids, there's so many rules. I
- 1:00can never keep up, you know what I mean? Yeah, And I'd
- 1:03never go and actually buy the travel sized stuff to go through with it.
- 1:06I'm either like, I'll either get it where I'm going or I'm just gonna
- 1:08cross my fingers and hope whatever it is I'm going through it's going in right.
- 1:11So here's a little hack. Though. This flight attendant shared a video
- 1:15on TikTok. It's gone viral because a lot of people are like, oh
- 1:17man, I didn't realize you could do that, because you know, what
- 1:19is it? Three and a half ounces? Yeah, I gotta keep So
- 1:22let's say you're trying to get like some milk or some oat milk, get
- 1:25that through security, but they don't come in small enough packages. She's got
- 1:27an idea for you. Okay, So here's a little fice in a high
- 1:32you guys like oat milk for any one, nilk for commonist, get a
- 1:34breast milk bag, right and for sure liquid was in there. Okay,
- 1:41so breast milk rest. But I was actually just thinking to myself because when
- 1:45you have kids, I feel like it's a little bit more lenient. Like
- 1:47our kids had water bottles they wanted to bring on. Of course you have
- 1:49to empty them and then you can refill them because it is expensive if you
- 1:53get stuck in an airport or you're trying to buy anything and they have all
- 1:56the snacks, like it could cost us more being at the air early then
- 2:00for our tickets sometimes and I'm not even kidding you. Yeah, so adds
- 2:05up when you do have snacks and stuff like that. Like I feel like
- 2:07they don't care if the kids have all that. So solids are fine.
- 2:10We went through this too because I brought a bag of chips in. So
- 2:13you can do that, like for example in Fargo, they got the subway
- 2:15before you go through security. You can get a foot long sub and bring
- 2:17it through if you want. Now, my biggest pet peeve is when people
- 2:22do that and then they sit there and wait for the boarding process. They're
- 2:25just sitting there, not eating the sub well, no, because they're not
- 2:29quite hungry yet, not quite a man. But the second they sit down
- 2:32on the flight we're still boarding. That's the time they want to open up
- 2:36the big sweet onion chicken terary ockey. No, one't that just steak and
- 2:38it is always stanky. Or they decided, you know what I want to
- 2:42do today, I'm going tuna melt. Why wouldn't I do that extra onion?
- 2:46Thanks the guy. So, the guy bringing the knife through, I
- 2:49did sort of feel bad for him because I had a similar issue. Not
- 2:53a knife. Now, I wasn't trying to Yeah I'm trying to bring a
- 2:54knife through. But one of the first times Lauren and I my wife,
- 2:58Now we're just dating, but we were going got a trip together, and
- 3:00so I got a backpack that I hadn't used like in years. So this
- 3:06old backpack, like all this stuff. We're going to Vegas. So I
- 3:07just needed a few things. And so going through security in Fargo and it
- 3:12gets flagged, of course, so I'm like, you know what's in there?
- 3:14But they start digging through the pockets of this backpack and the big bottle
- 3:19of how can I say this not booze was a lubricnt Okay, stop it,
- 3:24big bottle, biggest bottle you ever saw. Okay, So like Jurgen's
- 3:30lotion, like a big thing. I don't need to get into brand specifics,
- 3:34but got it. And happened to be hiding in one of the pockets.
- 3:38And now the biggest bracket. It was not a bottle she had seen.
- 3:44We'll just say that. Okay. So the guy and of course the
- 3:47t s A guy couldn't be discreet, you know. My man could be
- 3:53like, hey, dude, come over here, got to something. But
- 3:54no, he hold over the air like he's the guy you're shooting the gun
- 3:58to start an Olympic rating. Who's this? This? Who's this? I'm
- 4:02like, put it down. He's like, oh, you know you can't
- 4:05bring this through. I'm like, I know, I didn't know it was
- 4:08in. So did you say toss it or did you want to go bring
- 4:11it back to your car bike? I said, just throw it, for
- 4:13the love of God, throw it away like it a minute in the morning.
- 4:16And now Amanda stills, let's see, let's see. So the other
- 4:23day we were kind of laughing because the headline was Steve Sanders from nine on
- 4:27two and zero Iron Zeering was in this like huge brawl with this bike.
- 4:30I mean, they made it out to be like it was a biker gang,
- 4:32right picture Hell's Angels, your sons of anarchy battling it out in the
- 4:36streets of Hollywood coming after him. So he's on Hollywood Boulevard, and like
- 4:41I had mentioned earlier, it was a couple of days ago. It was
- 4:44intense. I mean, he's his daughter was in the car. All the
- 4:46video we had originally seen, he's like running away from them. There's like
- 4:51fourteen of them coming after him. There was even a chick on there who
- 4:55like whipped her helmet off. She's throwing it, she falls over. It's
- 4:57crazy. Well, yeah, they're using their helmet. It's his weapons.
- 5:00I know, you want to be a big, tough guy and defend yourself,
- 5:03but at some point you just got a you got a cave and run
- 5:05away. Yeah, you gotta back down. Well, yesterday Brian Austin Green
- 5:10had talked about how what a man, what a stallion? Basically he was
- 5:14for taking on all these people, and then somebody had a different angle of
- 5:17it. So this video that's now being released is from the car behind him.
- 5:21Uh huh. So there was only one mini bike, little scooter.
- 5:26They weren't the hogs I was imagining, just these tiny little bikes win around
- 5:30him, and I don't know if he thought they hit the car or maybe
- 5:33they did but he gets out of his vehicle, doesn't know that there's any
- 5:38behind him, and goes after this guy like just goes after him, starts
- 5:42hitting him instantly, So he started the brawl. Okay, okay, just
- 5:46a classic road range. As soon as that happened, then like fourteen of
- 5:49them just show up as coming out of nowhere. I mean there's tiny little
- 5:54bikes. It's like it's like clowns getting out of a clown car. Yeah,
- 5:57I just don't know how many there are. They just keep coming.
- 5:59Yeah. Or you it's stung by a bee and like a beehive just swarms
- 6:01at you. That's what it looks like. So I like clown car.
- 6:04I like the clown car analogy. I don't get that reference. When I
- 6:09say clown car, you don't know what I mean. Uh huh. You
- 6:11never seen like in a cartoon where a bunch of there's a tiny little car
- 6:15and a clown gets out, and then another clown, and pretty soon you
- 6:17got like forty clowns have gotten out of this tiny Remember I wasn't a big
- 6:20cartoon girl. I was too busy watching the Golden Girls and designing women.
- 6:25Maybe that's what I meant. Cloud car I love clown car, so I
- 6:30guess. Earlier this week people were saying Britney Spears was recruiting people like Julia
- 6:34Michaels and Charlie XCXT to write songs for a new album. Rolling Stone actually
- 6:39was the one who was confirming all of this. Britney Spears fired back yesterday,
- 6:43and this is kind of what I love about celebrities social media. Nowadays,
- 6:47you're able to just shoot things down right away. So she says,
- 6:51just so we're clear, most of the news is trash. They keep saying
- 6:54I'm turning to random people to do an album. I will never return to
- 6:57the music industry. When I write, I write for fun and I write
- 7:00for other people. Pike, this is really where it's gonna get you.
- 7:02Britney Spears said, for those of you who have read my book and you
- 7:05know there are loads about me, you don't know. One thing you should
- 7:09know is that I've written over twenty songs for twenty different people two years.
- 7:14She says, I'm a ghostwriter, and honestly, I love it that way.
- 7:17I don't believe that for a second. That's one of those things that
- 7:19I'd be really easy to lie about because there's no way approving it. Yeah,
- 7:23I mean unless somebody's like, yeah, Britney Spears wrote this, we
- 7:25would have to know. Maybe they're just not picking up her songs. Well
- 7:28this, so I do have one that she wrote, do you. Yeah.
- 7:30Yeah, it's called clown Car. No this I know this is the
- 7:38circus theme. Well yeah, it's called clown Car from Britney Spears. It's
- 7:43a song about a tiny little car and a bunch of little clowns getting out.
- 7:46You never got into like in high school where you piled into your friend's
- 7:50moms you know, sedan, you got seven people in there and nobody ever
- 7:55said geez, just like a clown car in here. This isn't hidden,
- 7:59Pike. I know you're really trying to stress this for me. I uh,
- 8:01I remember piling into vehicles, but I don't remember the old clown car.
- 8:07Well you missed out, all right, Tonight is the night if you
- 8:11were all in like I was, old gear Bear getting married. The Golden
- 8:16Bachelor is going to say I do to Teresa tonight. But there's a little
- 8:20plot twist here. Susan who was on the Golden Bachelor, she's officiating it
- 8:26all. I don't know why this is so weird to me. I know
- 8:28that I about died when I saw this. Do you remember you didn't really
- 8:31follow along? You didn't you tune in for just a second. Yeah,
- 8:35I heard his voice, and I just I just from everything, I don't
- 8:39want to hear that. You just couldn't do it anymore. Well, Susan,
- 8:43did you say he got like shot in the throat or there was a
- 8:46reason. Yeah, he is hard of hearing and he has a hearing it
- 8:50why he's got shot in the throat? I think that's what I heard about
- 8:54Shaggy the rapper. You know, I had heard that he got shot in
- 9:00the throat and that's why he sounds that way. Turns out that's not even
- 9:03true. You're my angel, Cash, I love Shaggy. Okay, Well,
- 9:05anyway, I don't know why I find this bizarre. But all these
- 9:09ladies at the reunion and just in general, if you follow any of them
- 9:13on Instagram like I do, they're all just still really good friends. It's
- 9:16like just a cackling little hens club having fun. That's not how it's supposed
- 9:20to be. Ladies. You didn't you didn't understand the assignment, Okay,
- 9:24you weren't supposed to all just get on the show and become friends and then
- 9:26officiate the wedding of the guy that ditch dumped you. I do love that
- 9:30she put on here. It's gonna be the wedding of the year, baby,
- 9:31because they're all just cougars. I mean, the way they dress and
- 9:35do it's it's for me and I hope they have a golden bachelorette. Still
- 9:39no word on that, and they just skip right to the wedding just like
- 9:41that. I mean, did they do the Golden Bachelor Party, the Golden
- 9:45Shower, the Golden the bridle Shower. I don't know if they really want
- 9:54to arrive at the wedding and style bike. What do you when they say
- 10:01I do and it goes away with just married, what do you think is
- 10:03gonna happen? I'm thinking clown car I get Amanda in the morning, did
- 10:09n seven? I generally wouldn't be one to necessarily believe a psychic right,
- 10:13I mean, you and I am n Even in New York City when we
- 10:16went on her trip, I got a psychic reading and I didn't buy it
- 10:20then. I don't buy it now. But in this situation, it's kind
- 10:22of hard to argue because this woman accurately predicted not only the Soviet Union dissolution,
- 10:30the Chernobyl tragedy, but also nine to eleven. How is that possible?
- 10:35And what do you mean by predicting nine to eleven? Like the exact
- 10:39details or just vaguely. Her name is Baba Voga. Have you heard of
- 10:43Baba Vanga? I have not teld me more about Baba Vanga. Well,
- 10:46before you get too attached, I will say she tragically passed away in nineteen
- 10:50ninety six, so she's been gone some time. But she was a blind
- 10:54Bulgarian psychic. And when she was a young young girl, she was taking
- 11:00away by a tornado, okay, swept up in the air by a tornado
- 11:03and out of here. What it was the tornado that caused her to go
- 11:05blind? Okay? So it was after this that she acquired these psychic powers.
- 11:11And now, if you don't believe me, this was a bit they
- 11:13did on the History Channel. After the accident, Benjelliot developed a striking ability
- 11:18to predict the future. By the nineteen eighties, Ben Jellia, who adopted
- 11:24the name Baba Voga. Oh yeah, that's her name, got it?
- 11:26Baba Vanka had given thousands of accurate predictions while gained a reputation as the Nocero
- 11:33Damas of the Balkans. She did, Baba Vaga said that she could see
- 11:35in her mind's eye, and when she would look at a person, she
- 11:39said that she could see their whole life. All right, So Babavanga had
- 11:43made predictions's me the chill here we are in twenty twenty four, and she
- 11:46did make predictions for this year, thankfully, and now she'd been right thousands
- 11:48of times. Like I said, those are obviously the notable ones. But
- 11:50Babavoga in twenty twenty four says, are you ready, here's what's going down?
- 11:54Hang on the number one, she did predict that the Russian president would
- 12:00be attempted anyway to be assassinated. So in this case Vladimir Putin. And
- 12:03hasn't that kind of just been going on for about a year. It's hard
- 12:09to say, man, okay, unless you're paying attention, then they probably
- 12:11wouldn't get it. To say. Number two, she said, biological weapons
- 12:15and increased terrorist attacks. Okay, all right. Number three she said there
- 12:22will be a massive economic crisis. Oh okay. Number four terrifying weather events.
- 12:28Now you might be thinking, Okay, these are just like super generalized,
- 12:33I mean to some degree. Yeah, I'm sitting here in Fargo,
- 12:37North Dakota, going haven't seen a winter quite like this one. The ice
- 12:43storm, the big ice storm of that was in twenty twenty three. Technic
- 12:46Okay, so she just missed that one. But if it floods in April,
- 12:50Boba vanas. Now, she did also predict some cyber attacks, massive
- 12:54cyber attacks, which you gotta think she died in nineteen ninety six. So
- 12:58the fact that she even knew that these could be a thing. Yeah,
- 13:01we were still dialing up. We were dialing Yeah, little ICQ chat back
- 13:07in the day instant messengers. So how many cyber attacks were on my t
- 13:09I ninety nine calculator napster was a thing back, sure, and then finally
- 13:15this and other. It's not all bad, I know. I was sitting
- 13:18here Mike, texting my husband, let's get our finances in order by as
- 13:20much water as possible, and uh, none on her. Now, just
- 13:24listen to this, she said. Bob Ivanga, the blind psychic who predicted
- 13:28nine to eleven. She said, there will be some new treatments for illnesses.
- 13:31I like this, So she anticipates there being some new things available to
- 13:35treat things that were previously known as terminal So it's not all bad. Any
- 13:41other positives I'd like to discuss more about that. Well, she did predict
- 13:45the Packers winning the Super Bowl. I left that one out. Now here's
- 13:48what you need to know. Well, I cannot imagine being without electricity this
- 13:52long. It all happened on Christmas Day, that big ice storm, and
- 13:54Cass County Electrics still working hard to get some people's electricity back on, so
- 14:00they resort about two hundred more people on Tuesday. There's still about seven hundred
- 14:03and forty members that do not have electricity. Members members of Cast County Electric
- 14:11that's what they call them. I don't realize it's part of the club.
- 14:16It's like a country club. Yeah, it's a country club. I don't
- 14:20want to be a part of at the moment, if you, I mean
- 14:22ten days, they're saying that they're hoping to get everybody back on by the
- 14:26end of the weekend. Yeah, I hope. So that's a long to
- 14:28own. That's nasty. Yeah, I mean you're paying for the membership.
- 14:33You'd at least like to have the electricity. Really gotcha, didn't it.
- 14:39That's just I think it's a proper way of saying that the resident. I
- 14:43pay for a membership at you know, the Fargo Country Club, and here
- 14:46tell me I can't play, I can't come on golf? What pretty bummed
- 14:50out about it. So it's the season of diets. People are googling what's
- 14:54the best one, what's going to work for you? Well, the US
- 14:56News and World Report ranked diets. People always say Keto's the way to go.
- 15:01That's been the hot one for a couple of years. That actually falls
- 15:03pretty flat. It's ranked last overall because of last. It is last,
- 15:07dead last, right above what the ice cream diet. I mean, come
- 15:11on within the diet, the realm of diets, not right above the seafood
- 15:18diet. Seafood I'm they're saying, because you're cutting out healthy garbs. Hoofda.
- 15:24Now they do say does spoiler? I did read the same list.
- 15:28They say it's effective is like losing weight quickly. You know, it's very
- 15:31effective in that way, But it's just like long term because there's two types
- 15:35of health. In my mind, I'm not an expert here. You know,
- 15:37there's like lose weight now health and then there's like unhealthy, am I
- 15:41kill you kind of thing? Yeah? No, totally. That one I
- 15:45generally am less concerned about. Can I lose the weight now? Well?
- 15:48The diet that they're recommending for seven years in a row pike, that's number
- 15:52one is the Mediterranean diet, and that is whole unprocessed foods, alive oil,
- 15:56whole grains, being seafood and leafy greens. I feel like that one
- 16:00I could jump on board with. I've never really tried it. You and
- 16:03I are both pretty much on the intermittent fasting. Yeah, I can see
- 16:07only seafood, you know, like, that's a lot of fish. There's
- 16:11a lot of different kinds of fish, and you can do it. Damn
- 16:12ten go mahi maso walleye trout. What's that front where they am in?
- 16:23They're like, oh, would you like the mahi mahi? Actually, I'm
- 16:26not that hungry. Could I just have the one? God? I just
- 16:30go for the one mahi. And It's been a while since I've done any
- 16:33sort of gaming, but I used to love a good round of Tetris.
- 16:37That was always so fun. It's therapeutic for me. I still do it.
- 16:38As an adult. If I'm bored, If you ever wonder what I'm
- 16:41doing in my office, that's what you're doing. Got it? Well,
- 16:44there's a thirteen year old. It's the first person to break the Tetris game.
- 16:48Because think about it. Has anybody ever said, oh, yeah,
- 16:49I conquered it all. I never broke the games, but I'd break my
- 16:52controller because I kept losing. So you couldn't do it. Oh that's hilarious.
- 16:57Well, I guess you can get to level two hundred and fift.
- 17:00Well this kid he got to one fifty seven and that's kind of where it
- 17:03hit crashed. Oh, it just couldn't handle it because you know, I
- 17:06don't know what level it gets super quick, but you all know the feeling.
- 17:08You think your cruise and you think you're a genius, and then you
- 17:11make one wrong mistake or your finger slips, and all of a sudden,
- 17:14it just boom boom boom boom. Do I want it done? I would
- 17:17love to find an old school Nintendo and try this again to see how far
- 17:19I could go. When our band packs up and we got to get everything
- 17:22in the trailer, you know, we like to call it sort of a
- 17:25little Tetris game. Everything's got a certain way it's got to go in.
- 17:29You know, that's how people feel like costco to or Sam's Club when you're
- 17:32packing in the back of your vehicle. Yeah, it's not the same.
- 17:33Yeah. Sorry, I'm not in a band. I just free shop like
- 17:40a minute in the morning on a big nutty eight points seven. I don't
- 17:42want to say this is weird, okay, because I'm not in this situation.
- 17:45I can't imagine being in this horrific situation. All I'll say is just
- 17:48this is an interesting situation. I want to hear what you think about it.
- 17:52Because this woman who's now a widow, sadly lost her husband a couple
- 17:56weeks ago. Now she's in Australia. Now that's important because laws are different
- 18:00in Australia. So apparently before he tragically died, they had planned to have
- 18:04a child. She's sixty four years old. Oh okay, okay, husband
- 18:08tragically passes away the day after she's making a plea to extract her deceased husband's
- 18:15seed. Oh get out of here, so stop so they can still proceed
- 18:19with having a child now. Sadly, the reason that, yeah, he's
- 18:25dead, he's gone, so the seeds are still alive and thicking it in
- 18:30there. I feel like that's a good question. That's gonna be my first
- 18:33question. I mean, I don't And also, how do you extract?
- 18:37I mean what now she was granted permission to extract the seed from the body.
- 18:45How how that's gonna happen? I don't know. I mean a doctor's
- 18:51gonna have to do this, right, I mean what. Here's a problem
- 18:56though, the use of reproductive cells after death is against the law where she
- 19:00is in Australia, So she's okay, take the seed and then can she
- 19:04go to a different country to implant the seed to then have a baby.
- 19:10That's a good point because the widow is now seeking to use the seed in
- 19:12another state where the practice is legal. I mean, nailed it. I
- 19:18get you want to have a baby, and that was your guys' plan and
- 19:22all of that. Here's another caveat to add to the sadness. They had
- 19:25lost. They had two adult children and they both tragically died in an accident.
- 19:29Oh gosh, they no longer had any children. They wanted to have
- 19:32another. She says she would plan after the extraction, plan to use a
- 19:37surrogate again. She's sixty four years old. So were you out on that?
- 19:40I mean, is that sort of sweet? I mean, I get
- 19:42wanting to have the future of your family. None. Yeah, the fact
- 19:48you've lost two kids and now your husband, I mean, holy smokes,
- 19:52that is just tragic all together. I mean, I think you nailed it
- 19:56when you said, holy smokes. Yeah, I I guess extract away again.
- 20:02It's just interesting to me. I'm curious. I'm like, I'm curious
- 20:04like a cat, you know me, of course, I just want to
- 20:07know how that works. Peaking, you know, pre death. I'm more
- 20:12than familiar with that process, right, but it's just after the death it's
- 20:18a mystery. I know. I hope she has some family to really wrap
- 20:21their arms around her, because my mind is in a million miles an hour,
- 20:25and now here's a good, you know reason to uh beforehand, it's
- 20:27never a bad idea to, you know, throw some in the deep freeze,
- 20:33because you never know. Yep, you got any room in that deep
- 20:36freeze for Nick. I think he's close. I think he's close to I
- 20:41think this. I think I think we're done planting. Okay, like a
- 20:48minute in the morning, this lady got dumb, she said anyway on Reddit,
- 20:51which I never believe anything on the internet. But in this case,
- 20:53she says she was dating a guy, things are going well, and tell
- 20:56she revealed to him that she likes to put corn in her spaghetti okay,
- 21:02and this I threw him off so much bizarre He was offended. He said,
- 21:06listen, if I made you like a nice spaghetti dish and you ruined
- 21:08it by putting corn in it, that would offend me. And so five
- 21:11minutes later, after they had this conversation, he just text her and said,
- 21:15yeah, I can't do this. We're done. It's so dumb.
- 21:17It is so dumb. It is so dumb. But I do a lot
- 21:19of food things too that I probably am turning people off by, Like I
- 21:23couldn't if I was dating. It would have to be a year into the
- 21:26relationship before I ate traditional wings in front of you because you've seen it,
- 21:32Yeah, or a Chinese buffet for instance. That's got to be like marriage.
- 21:36You didn't take Laura into a Chinese buffet before you got married, did
- 21:38you. Well, that's part of the test, of course I did.
- 21:44I mean with the traditional wings, I ripped those those bait think of the
- 21:47cleanest traditional bone you've seen after somebody ate it and then some like no my
- 21:51husband, yes, Like he'll come in after me. He's like, you
- 21:53didn't even finish that. I'm like, yeah, I did. No,
- 21:56no, no, no, no, Daddy's got more work to do.
- 22:00It's not done until you've sucked the bone marrow out of it. Oh,
- 22:03it's so disgusting. But there are so many weird food combos. The corn
- 22:07in the spaghetti that one is gonna be odd to me. Have never seen
- 22:08anybody anything other than like, if it's sweet, then of course I don't
- 22:11want corn in there. But anything that's like meaty potato, bready, corny
- 22:17vegetables. I put corn in everything I love, like tater tot hottish,
- 22:21I don't up here. That's like a big discussion of what goes in there.
- 22:23Yes, corn goes in there every single That's actually the only vegetable I
- 22:26put in our tater tot hot Really, we don't go with the mixed bag
- 22:30like green beans, carrots. It's just the corn. Pretty simple stuff.
- 22:33Huh. Now, I think the vegetables more than Maria for me. I
- 22:36love the texture, I love the crunch. I'm a sweet and salty person.
- 22:40So I find myself doing and I feel like this is pretty normal nowadays.
- 22:44But you grab a French fry and put it in ice cream like that
- 22:47is. If I go and get like a little dequ or any sort of
- 22:49vanilla ice cream, I have to get a side of fries or put chips
- 22:52in it, that kind of thing. Yeah, I'm not crumbling chips up
- 22:56in my Yeah, I guess I've never done that. That actually kind of
- 22:59sounds oh, settled down, some ripple chips crumbled up in just a little
- 23:03ripple. Yeah, I like them ridged, Yeah, ridged. You know,
- 23:07I usually save that for the French onion dip. But I don't love
- 23:10a good rid hip. Do you have any weird food things that might turn
- 23:11somebody off? So I feel bad for my son. He's in a really
- 23:15weird stage where he's dipping everything and all kinds of stuff and we just watch
- 23:18him and it's hard to even eat around him. And I know he's only
- 23:22three, How are you doing this? Like he'll grab like a thing of
- 23:25broccoli and put it in the ketchup, or he'll drop something in milk.
- 23:27I know, I'm like ketchup. I know I have a friend who's like,
- 23:30so do he can't be around ketchup, can't be near him, or
- 23:33he'll throw People are that way. But it is a weird one where I
- 23:37obviously love it on like fries and a burger and a hot dog, But
- 23:40that's about it. Ketchup in any other context is pretty gross. See.
- 23:44I don't actually mind it now that my kids are a little If it hits
- 23:45a chicken finger, I'm like, oh no, that's actually kind of okay
- 23:49with me. Oh honey, not a chance. Last night we had pickles
- 23:55wrapped in ham and cream cheese in a tortilla, and my son was like,
- 23:59not having that, but my daughter love that. Oh that sounds really
- 24:00good. I know. You know what else would I think would turn somebody
- 24:03off about my food stuff is if you ever see me eat shrimp like I
- 24:07eat the whole shrimp, the tail, everything. There's not a the crunchy
- 24:11tail. I eat the whole thing. No, like the full I'm understanding.
- 24:15Like, when you have like the full shell on the side and not
- 24:18just the tail, you will eat that whole thing. Yeah, how do
- 24:21you even swallow and digest that without getting knifed? We eat chew it up
- 24:25good. Even that text hurts a little on the way up. Not that
- 24:29I can't deal with, like get a Manda in the morning. Come on,
- 24:33Big seven, Are you doing dry January? I know as of yesterday
- 24:37you said you sort of were, but sort of not. Yeah, No,
- 24:40I'm doing dry ish January. I'm gonna do my best to not drink
- 24:42as much. I mean, I'm not gonna like hold myself to a oh
- 24:45my gosh, I'm not gonna go. For instance, tonight, it's a
- 24:48big happy hour over at the local seven oh one from four to six,
- 24:51frosty cold free beer. I'm gonna go there. I'm gonna enjoy the cold
- 24:52beer. And I'm just not gonna dive headfirst into what I've normally been doing.
- 24:57Okay, you know, now that's great, and I know that's good
- 25:00for you. But and I don't want to be the gatekeeper of dry January.
- 25:03But don't try to act. Don't try to lump yourself in with the
- 25:06come on out. Absolutely not. That's why I said dry ish. Yeah,
- 25:08I just get that word out of your mouth. Get that dry out
- 25:11of your mouth now. I'm just I'm just kidding to January. Oh mind
- 25:17sopping wet. But a lot of people are participating in dry January. You
- 25:21know, there's a lot of benefits, whether it's financial, you know,
- 25:23coming out of the holiday season with travel lists and all of that, it's
- 25:27a good month to just reset. And if you're going out to eat,
- 25:30you know how much cheaper it is if you're not buying like just two drinks
- 25:33a person. It's insane. Yes, if you ever go out. My
- 25:37husband and I will go for lunch and we're like, wow, that was
- 25:38pretty cheap. It's like, well, yeah, because we're not drinking cocktails
- 25:42or a glass of wine or whatever. Well listen, yeah, and when
- 25:45you look at the receipt, it's like, my wife's I wish she drank
- 25:48cores light. You guys, start drink generally is three times it's expensive of
- 25:52whatever I'm drinking. But this woman, she's in this little documentary about dry
- 25:56January, she said she did it once six years ago and it stuck.
- 25:59And they're saying that a lot of people this happens because you know, you're
- 26:02probably if you're doing dry January, might have just been contemplating for a while,
- 26:06like I should probably maybe cut back or just stop drinking. Yeah,
- 26:08So she didn't. She's estimated in six years she has saved approximately forty eight
- 26:14thousand dollars. Holy bananas. Yeah, just my not drinking, she says.
- 26:18Her husband says she's a cheap date, which is probably true. Yeah.
- 26:22I mean, because you think about how much you waste and then if
- 26:25you're having toddies and then you're like, oh, hey, I'm gonna get
- 26:27you one, and I'm gonna get this run. I mean, it adds
- 26:30up so quick. If I were to look at our bank account in what
- 26:33we spent basically November through December just with get togethers, happy hours, people
- 26:40all that stuff. It's like, jeez, I can't even complain about financials
- 26:44because I made those, you know the problem. Yeah, it's like,
- 26:45yeah, what first said. Yeah, I would love to give it a
- 26:48try, but unfortunately it just can't. I just not this month. You
- 26:52know, it's just not a good month for it. Yeah, but that's
- 26:53like, sorry, excuse so, because that's what you're gonna say next month
- 26:57when it's something else. There's always something You look at your calendar and I
- 27:00look at the things I got going on, whether it's like a wedding or
- 27:03a show with my band, and it's like, well, I just can't
- 27:06imagine not having a big old beer. Yeah. Well, that's why I
- 27:10am not being hard on myself. I just want to be able to just
- 27:12be as healthy as I can be and not dive headfirst into the cocktails.
- 27:17Every chance you get dustin from Happy Harry's Bottlestops. You weren't here last year,
- 27:21but he started bringing in because he knows so many people are trying dry
- 27:22January. Yeah, And it's amazing to me how these liquor companies are creating
- 27:29cocktails. It'll be interesting to see if you try, cause you like some
- 27:33fun drinks and things like that. They've made them so it's not like I
- 27:37remember when I was pregnant and it's like, oh, you want a beer
- 27:40and you'd have like a Budweiser na or a bush na. Yeah, Like,
- 27:42okay, that's fine. It makes you feel like you're so part of
- 27:45the Yeah. But they're making mocktails now, and even just the generation below
- 27:49us that's what they drink, are kind of mocktails. It's crazy. I
- 27:52know, Like when we went to I just got back from Florida and my
- 27:56wife's dad, he was a beer guy, like he loved he's retired.
- 27:59Now he goes to the same bar every day. Yeah, it opens at
- 28:02eleven. He gets to the parking lot at ten to fifteen just to make
- 28:04sure. But he still goes even though he stopped drinking now, so he
- 28:08just drinks NA beer and he like crushes Ana beer like, you know,
- 28:14like he'll have six because some people just genuinely like the flavor. Yeah,
- 28:18and it's just kind of a habit that I don't know. He calls them
- 28:22his expensive waters. Okay, that's hilarious. That's a good line. That
- 28:26is good. He really really thought it was a good line because he says
- 28:30it. You know, somebody should also patent that and make that an NA
- 28:33beer expensive water. Well, I don't know how good it is as far
- 28:37as marketing goes, but it's still like it a minute in the morning,
- 28:41big naety eight points seven. I don't know my you. But this is
- 28:42sort of the progression of me knowing about Gypsy Rows. Had no idea who
- 28:47that person was. Starting to see a lot of headlines, a lot of
- 28:48social media posts. Then I was interested. I'm like, okay, what's
- 28:51this Gypsy Rows situation? Then I read about it. Then I read more
- 28:53about it, and now, well, consider me completely sucked in. Did
- 28:57you give her a follow on all of her social media outline? I did?
- 29:00I did, And I know I want to talk about just the whole
- 29:03situation first of all, but then her most recent Instagram comment she's made to
- 29:07her husband, and I know you have some information on this husband, because
- 29:11she just got out of jail. If you're just now finding out about this.
- 29:15This is the thirty two year old woman who when she was a kid,
- 29:18horrible situation. Her mom was basically doing the thing where she was making
- 29:22her pretend to be sick. Right, what is it Munchausen syndrome. Yeah,
- 29:25yeah, And so she was in a wheelchair and her mom was just
- 29:29doing these horrible, horrible things. She had a feeding tube, She thought
- 29:32she had leukemia, right, she thought she was Actually it was a three
- 29:36or four years younger than she was, so when she was eighteen, she
- 29:38thought she was fifteen. So she was always kind of talking like a baby
- 29:42too. She never really had any interaction. But also not only did the
- 29:47doctors go through with all these procedures, which is a whole situation in itself.
- 29:52I mean, she was getting makeup wishes, she had a house built
- 29:55from her, from habitat, from humanity. It was wild and none of
- 29:57it was real correct. So eventually she got this boyfriend. She met somebody
- 30:02online, this guy, and she convinced this guy to kill her mom,
- 30:06and so he did. He came to the house, stabbed her to death.
- 30:08They go to prison. He's in prison for a life, the guy
- 30:11who did the stabbing. She was in prison for what twelve years? She
- 30:15did I think eight years, and she was supposed to be in for ten.
- 30:18So they let her go early. So she's out. Now, she's
- 30:19got her Instagram, She's becoming the internet celebrity. And I'm just a little
- 30:23like confused on how I feel about it, you know, because did you
- 30:27go through a horrible, horrible child that, yes, but you also convinced
- 30:30somebody to kill your mom, and that was all within your mindset. That's
- 30:37not the only way out. And she, of course, and she is
- 30:40now. She has a lifetime documentary that is going to be running with her
- 30:42side of the story Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And she has said,
- 30:45she goes. I want to be able to tell people you can get out,
- 30:49you shouldn't have to go. I regret this every day of my life.
- 30:52It's like, of course you do. But also it happened. So
- 30:56she's married now, yeah, okay, so when she was released last week
- 30:59from prison, her husband she was already married in prison. Okay, so
- 31:03this went down because do you remember during COVID when Tiger King was a thing.
- 31:07Of course, so this I'll never forget. Right. So this teacher,
- 31:10he's a special ed teacher. Him and one of us coworkers were like
- 31:12into all these shows. She was into Tiger King, he was into Mommy
- 31:17Dearis, which was the story of Gypsy Rose. She said, I'm gonna
- 31:19write Tiger King a letter. He goes, you do that, I'm gonna
- 31:22write Gypsy Rose as a joke, and they fell in love and ended up
- 31:26getting married. No way, list his name is Ryan, right, that's
- 31:30the company has named Ryan. So apparently he's getting a lot of hate online.
- 31:33And so Gypsy Rose made a comment on one of his Instagram posts and
- 31:38if you're ready for this, she said, Ryan, don't listen to the
- 31:41haters. I love you and you love me. We're a happy family.
- 31:45No oh, I was like, gonna stop it. She recited the entire
- 31:48Barney song. Now she says, we do not know anyone anything. Our
- 31:52family is who matters. If you get likes and good comments, great.
- 31:56If you get hate, then whatever, because they don't matter. I love
- 31:59you. Besides, here's where it gets good. They jealous because you are
- 32:02rocking my world every night. Okay, yeah, I said it. The
- 32:07d is fire, Oh my gosh, Gypsy, happy wife, happy life
- 32:14heart emoji. So if you've not watched any of them, so I did
- 32:17not watch Mommy Terarist. I watched that act. I know I can't Laura
- 32:22Lauren? Can you? Can you do? You? Could you drop a
- 32:28comment or two like that on my Instagram? That'd be great, get these
- 32:30hatas away. But the best part for me, I can't she in the
- 32:38act? This is the one I watched on Hulu. She still talks like
- 32:43she's young. It's like when you listen to her Instagram post, she still
- 32:46talks like this. I've never heard her. You haven't. You want to
- 32:52watch some of this stuff? It is, it's mind blowing. But I'm
- 32:54with you. I think the whole reason we're even bringing this up is should
- 32:57she be out of jail? So there's two things for me. Am I
- 33:00saying she shouldn't be out of jail because she Yeah, she didn't actually do
- 33:04the killing, so she served her time. That's one thing. But do
- 33:07we need to be like celebrating her. Does she need to be a celebrity.
- 33:12I mean, read the comments. People are obsessed with this person.
- 33:15What did she do? Yeah, she had a horrible childhood, But what's
- 33:17not like pedestalizer? No, But I think it's just it's human nature to
- 33:22just be in, Like I am, just all in of what are you
- 33:25gonna do? Because last week I thought she was gonna end up. James
- 33:29had a plot that because she wanted to go see Taylor Swift because she loved
- 33:31her and was gonna get tickets to the Chiefs game so she could go and
- 33:36see. And I'm like, he thought maybe she'd kill Taylor Swift. Indeed,
- 33:42the twist like a Menda in the morning on Big Nutty eight point seven.
- 33:50Speaking of Amanda, you're happily married now, of course, But you
- 33:52did go through a time there where you were dating and you were using apps,
- 33:55correct, I did? Uh? The one that I used back in
- 33:59the day was Bumble, Oh, the old bumble. You were buzzing around,
- 34:04huzzing around in that bee high for about three to four months and yeah,
- 34:08rough go. Well, a lot of people can relate a lot of
- 34:12people getting tired of your normal dating apps Tinder, bumble Hinge, what have
- 34:15you. And so there's a new trend out there that people are discovering actually
- 34:21works better than these apps. Yeah, because we've had a lot of younger
- 34:24interns that are still kind of in the dating world. And honestly, I
- 34:27have some friends who are older and it seems like dating apps have turned into
- 34:31just hook up land. Yeah, like it's very rare you're able to like
- 34:35find sure not to mention people I know who are on dating apps, especially
- 34:38in a town the size of Fargo. It's like you've been through the lineup
- 34:42a few times. It's like, okay, this guy again, and then
- 34:45eventually you just get desperate. It's like, all right, we'll give him
- 34:46a shot. Finally, Oh, let's do it. But no, Google
- 34:50docs is the new trend care we use every day. Yes, our shared
- 34:55document Pike, a man and I share a Google document. Now, all
- 34:59I gotta do is in certain my stats, my interests, Hinda, and
- 35:02you see see if you like it? So how do you go about this?
- 35:07Now? People are creating a dating document for themselves. So just a
- 35:10Google document. You can share it and you just write down all of your
- 35:15interests, your gender, your location, preference for monogamy or polyamory, oh
- 35:21gosh, yep, and whether you're part of any special interest community and bada
- 35:24being bata boom. You share it. People go through and you can look
- 35:27at it. Now, here's the cool thing. Some people are even saying
- 35:30that like their family will share the documents. So you just share this doc
- 35:34with anybody, and so I can go around to you know, i'd probably
- 35:37want a finder's fee, got it? But if I can find you a
- 35:39date, I'll just show them your document. So my cousin Jared, he's
- 35:45like, ah, gosh, really looking for a lady. I can just
- 35:46go to my Facebook page and say, hey, ladies, Jared look at
- 35:52his Google document. Yes, so good. That's the piece I was missing
- 35:57from dating apps. It's like this private little world that people aren't allowed in
- 36:00unless you are single and looking. So I think I think it's a great
- 36:04idea. Can we get like grandma's and moms to get in on this.
- 36:07I am hoping because right now there's a lot of stuff on social media where
- 36:09it's like okay, whatever, this is a scam. This is this.
- 36:14I want the older generation to start getting these Google documents and hooking up relatives.
- 36:19This would make I'd go through them just for fun. I don't know
- 36:22how many of that generators are using shared Google documents, but you to do
- 36:24it. TELLM the copy and paste it in the link. Well, we
- 36:28could start with your grandma Milli or is she still taken? She is still
- 36:30taken? Yeah? Still? Are you kidding me, dainty boy going steady?
- 36:34Oh yeah they are? And your grandma's how old? She just turned
- 36:37ninety six? Wow? Yeah? And I think he just turned ninety back
- 36:42in September. So she's got herself a young pop and they still just dating.
- 36:45I mean, are they at any point they're gonna lock it down?
- 36:49Well? No, they do sleepovers. They go to the Legion and Morehead.
- 36:52You know this about them. I mean they're really keeping things alive.
- 36:55Would they be interested in maybe settling down one day with a I don't think
- 37:00sell No, I don't think so. I think I think they just keep
- 37:01their options open. I'm just kidding. After Okay, say we could set
- 37:07her up at the Google document But I just enjoy this. I think this
- 37:12will be good for people. I think so too, and I think there
- 37:14should be a little bit of a fee, a little bit of a you
- 37:15know, refer a friend kind of fifty dollars bonus, or at least I
- 37:21get to go on the first date, get a free meal out of it,
