dynamics pop up in the issues with Christine and Cody are right at the get

Yeah, I think it's a little bit of passion's passive aggressive rightness. So,

but I think we can really see the continued bonding that's happening between Robin

and Mary because at this point, in terms of the power dynamic, Mary

is still the legal wife. Yeah, Mary still has status, position and

place. She's losing it. I think her situation with Cody is already eroding,

already going downhill, and so it is in Robin's best interest to stay

close to Mary. Yeah, but this isn't going to last for long.

No, it's really weird to see like she really is like holding on to

Mary because Mary's her only hope because Christine don't like her. Janelle could give

Okay, but this is polygamy and she should have a grace period to accept

the new wife. She expected to be the third wife. She did this

had truly, so she's got probably postpartum. She's working out issues in her

own hormones and in her own body. She wants to be close with Cody.

So like it makes perfect sense that she's just not there yet, and that's

The next thing we talk about is the Hanukah celebration, which I wanted to

tradition of Christine's celebrating Joseph Smith's birthday, which she did in her family all

of her life, Her mother Annie did it in their household, like once

Robin comes, she no longer is able to celebrate Joseph Smith's birthday. Now,

we worship Joseph Smith, and so I kind of want to put some

distance there. But I'm wondering if maybe Robin's involved. Yeah, I thought

that too, because it seems like it was everybody kind of ganging up on

writes it off like, oh, she's just being dramatic because you know she's

taking it personally. That none of us want to celebrate Joseph Smith's birthday,

a big issue? And so then Christine comes up with another celebration, which

that's weird. I think it's kind of strange. And I've read, like

people comment on Reddit and maybe even on YouTube that there's a lot of like

context of, but I think that for Christine it is well intentioned. She

likes the lights of Honikkah, and our heavenly Father put the lights inside of

of itself really kind of demonstrated to me how Christine really was the heart of

that family totally and the person who put together like the family events and the

a tradition alive within her family doing this weird Hanukah celebration because Cody was probably

talking about Joseph Smith's birthday and being like, you shouldn't celebrate that anymore because

make it so it's pleasant for Cody to be at her house because he don't

Cody takes four of the littles out to shop for siblings and mothers, and

and he shops with them, but he doesn't seem comfortable to me with

that's like a part of their religion or culture, because Ethel's kind of talked

with each other and they're kind of weird with the daughters. So maybe it's

and like he's not actually doing that on the rig, right, it felt

like he was putting it on for the cameras and like this is not something

out for like dinner at someplace where kids eat free, and like it's easy

to do that with our dad. We'd have daddy daughter dates on Sundays and

After this, we take the entire family out to some mountain where they are

going to cut down their own Christmas tree. We see Cody hacking away at

the Christmas tree, and then Hunter and then Logan and then they push it

over, it falls into a bunch of other trees, and a lot of

the branches break. And they do things like the Brown's do haphazardly without a

whole lot of thought that would stress me the fuck out. Like this family

they do this all the time. They just do things haphazardly for the tea,

for the TV. And it's just a fucking shit show every time.

Like this wasn't a thing time. Just go to a Christmas tree lot,

Cody, well, no, it was Janelle having to discipline the boys,

And this brings up the whole conversation of like how Cody isn't always the one

involved in bad punishment, which I guess kind of makes understand. I mean

it kind of makes sense a little bit because Mary says, you know,

Cody doesn't want to be the bad guy all the time. I don't think

he's ever the bad guy. Yeah, Like I don't even know that he

noticed anything was happening when there's a physical altercation between his children and when Christine

like sleeping as everybody's doing everything and all of the adult kids are or not
