- 0:00Speaker 1: T Bob is with us here. We'll get to singing
- 0:02Speaker 1: in just a second. We'll get to Mikey's on air
- 0:05Speaker 1: mistake in just a second. Taylor has an idea I
- 0:08Speaker 1: think that might save baseball. And we have just a
- 0:12Speaker 1: terrible speech from Eric Judge plus weekend observations with Tea Bob,
- 0:16Speaker 1: so we have.
- 0:16Speaker 2: A lot to go. Fuck yes, dude.
- 0:19Speaker 1: But we were discussing by the way, I miss you
- 0:21Speaker 1: and I miss those studios.
- 0:22Speaker 3: I do I miss Taylor? You missed those studios or what?
- 0:25Speaker 4: Of course I know Taylor and Taylor definitely was loving
- 0:29Speaker 4: the uh. I mean, it's Big Cat's fantasy factory, like
- 0:31Speaker 4: y'all saw it firsthand, like the same way that Rob
- 0:34Speaker 4: Deerdeck got so successful, and there was like, oh, I
- 0:37Speaker 4: can just make my reality, like like I could just
- 0:41Speaker 4: shape my reality whoever I want. His entire building is
- 0:43Speaker 4: Big Cat's fantasy Factory. It's fucking awesome.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I remember asking PFT what it was like to work there,
- 0:49Speaker 1: and he's like, blank canvas every day, just fill it in.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Just walk into the place and fill in the canvas.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Yeah yeaheahu.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Sue did give me some very good professional advice that
- 0:57Speaker 4: I've been trying to trying to follow and and and
- 1:02Speaker 4: trying to uh, because we were talking it's like the
- 1:06Speaker 4: podcasts are fun, like this is my this is where
- 1:09Speaker 4: I feel most comfortable. Radio is fun in terms of
- 1:12Speaker 4: like it's kind of intimate with the audience, more conversational,
- 1:16Speaker 4: you're you know, you're, you're, you're forming these connections. It's
- 1:18Speaker 4: it's it's easier to be I think, like funny and entertaining.
- 1:21Speaker 4: And then TV is so like tight and and produced
- 1:24Speaker 4: and like rigid.
- 1:25Speaker 2: It's it's rigid.
- 1:26Speaker 4: It's it's got a rigidity to it that I'm still
- 1:29Speaker 4: really trying to figure out.
- 1:30Speaker 2: But Stu gave me some great advice. He was just
- 1:32Speaker 2: talking about how.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Look, man, uh, every minute is precious out there, and
- 1:37Speaker 4: you have all this real estate with which to play,
- 1:40Speaker 4: so take advantage of it. And we're trying to do
- 1:42Speaker 4: I want you to know I took that advice to heart, trying.
- 1:44Speaker 4: We got ideas, We've done some things, and I'm trying
- 1:47Speaker 4: to instill this idea and the crew of like, look,
- 1:50Speaker 4: it may feel cringy, it may fucking suck, but we
- 1:54Speaker 4: can't let the fear of that stop us from at
- 1:58Speaker 4: least trying to and and and do some things that
- 2:02Speaker 4: we want to try.
- 2:02Speaker 1: To do, right, because you have this national hour or
- 2:05Speaker 1: two hours on TV that people would die for, they
- 2:07Speaker 1: would you know, our industry, right. I was just telling you, like, hey,
- 2:10Speaker 1: to have the five of us sit around, that's not
- 2:12Speaker 1: the best use of the time. Like every minute matters,
- 2:15Speaker 1: make better use of it, that's all. That's all I
- 2:17Speaker 1: was saying. I know the show was wonderful and I
- 2:20Speaker 1: enjoyed it because I don't want to do much. I
- 2:22Speaker 1: want to stroll and sit down just and make a
- 2:24Speaker 1: couple of jokes and get the fuck out of there.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Well, I know, but but and the like.
- 2:28Speaker 4: To your point, I came to you basically exposing my
- 2:31Speaker 4: insecurities and asking for advice until you gave very good advice.
- 2:34Speaker 2: But yeah, like we're.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Starting some some whatever you did, like some moobs of
- 2:38Speaker 4: the courtship that we're gonna try to fall over the summer.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Uh.
- 2:41Speaker 4: We have a fucking telestrator in here that we use
- 2:43Speaker 4: for film breakdowns. But like there's a ton of fun
- 2:45Speaker 4: stuff we can do with that. So we're trying. Don't worry,
- 2:48Speaker 4: stew We're trying. Also, my uh my second producer Jeremy.
- 2:53Speaker 4: He's awesome and he is a massive, massive Stu Gots fan,
- 2:58Speaker 4: so he's also uh he he's.
- 3:00Speaker 2: He's he's right in line with me on the on
- 3:02Speaker 2: the hopeful vision for Wake Up Barstool. Tell him I'm
- 3:05Speaker 2: a massive Jeremy fan.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Yeah, it's gonna make his day. He's gonna make his day.
- 3:08Speaker 4: I'm telling you that.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Uh so you were saying right before we started here.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Uh And I agree with you on this. You're not
- 3:16Speaker 1: a big singer. You don't like singing in public. Yeah,
- 3:19Speaker 1: which is shocking to me because you're not shy t bob.
- 3:22Speaker 3: But you didn't make the revelation that. I agree with that.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Once you have children, if you're not a singer, you
- 3:28Speaker 1: have to start singing, and you will start singing.
- 3:31Speaker 2: And I did start singing. I'm not a singer.
- 3:33Speaker 4: I cannot envision you singing. That is very funny to me.
- 3:36Speaker 4: I I would I would love to hear you sing.
- 3:39Speaker 4: What would you sing?
- 3:40Speaker 2: Fruit salad? Yummy, yummy.
- 3:43Speaker 4: I fucking love the Wiggles, dude, Oh my god, I
- 3:47Speaker 4: love the Wiggles. I miss the Wiggles now. That's one
- 3:50Speaker 4: of my one of my favorite concerts I ever went
- 3:52Speaker 4: to when my oldest was two years old, maybe three
- 3:56Speaker 4: years old, the Wiggles came to New Orleans and we
- 3:58Speaker 4: bought front row seat. My wife made custom Wiggles uniforms,
- 4:05Speaker 4: so I was I was the non existent green Wiggle
- 4:09Speaker 4: and I was pretty stoned. And I'll never forget I'd
- 4:12Speaker 4: watched so much Wiggles at that point, I'm sitting there
- 4:14Speaker 4: on the front row.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And I was starstruck.
- 4:18Speaker 4: And I think I freaked him out because we were
- 4:20Speaker 4: the only ones above front row seats, like everybody's behind
- 4:22Speaker 4: whatever it is.
- 4:22Speaker 2: But I'm sitting there.
- 4:24Speaker 4: I'm like a toy, like and I looked crazy. At
- 4:30Speaker 4: this time. I was like way fatter. I had this
- 4:33Speaker 4: giant beard and this long hair. I hadn't cut anything
- 4:36Speaker 4: in like six months. I looked really fucking wild. And
- 4:39Speaker 4: I'm just sitting there yelling at Anthony. I was so pumped.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Simon Lockey, Emma, my fucking dogs, Dude, fruit sounds a banger.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Wait, So you.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Guys went, You went in costume to see the Wiggle
- 4:52Speaker 4: Yes in costume in concert front row stone and then
- 4:56Speaker 4: I had a bunch of kids wanted to take pictures
- 4:58Speaker 4: with me afterwards because I looked like a Wiggle like
- 5:00Speaker 4: I was the Green Wiggles from sitting there doing pictures.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Then I have some other people are like t Bump,
- 5:05Speaker 2: I love your radio show.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Yeah, now tell her you have to understand this.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I know you have something here, but you need to
- 5:10Speaker 1: understand that when you watch the Wiggles with your kids, hey,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you memorize all the songs, you get into it. But
- 5:16Speaker 1: this is like the fucking Beatles to the kids.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Yes, yes, I mean but so that's what's crazy about
- 5:21Speaker 4: me though, is like it I had watched so much
- 5:24Speaker 4: Wiggles and it felt like the Beatles to me, Like
- 5:27Speaker 4: it was one of the most stress struck I've ever been,
- 5:29Speaker 4: being that close to the band. Uh, I mean, I'm
- 5:33Speaker 4: I'm more of My favorite was always do.
- 5:35Speaker 2: The pro pella, Do the pro pella, do the pro pella,
- 5:39Speaker 2: around and around. God, it's fucking good, dude. But now
- 5:43Speaker 2: my kids won't watch it. I tried to get him watch.
- 5:44Speaker 3: It the other day.
- 5:45Speaker 2: They're like, Dad, this is little kids shit, right, they've
- 5:47Speaker 2: outgrown it. Look out of here. You're still watching I
- 5:51Speaker 2: still watch high school musical. Yeah, Stu.
- 5:56Speaker 5: I have Anthony walking off the stage and being like
- 5:59Speaker 5: to the cure hey, keep an eye on that guy
- 6:01Speaker 5: in the front.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Mean massive creep vibes like that. I looked, I looked creepy.
- 6:07Speaker 4: If we're just calling the spade of spade.
- 6:08Speaker 3: I'll tell you a funny story.
- 6:10Speaker 1: At the height of the Wiggles and the height of
- 6:12Speaker 1: me being a dad, I tried to book Anthony on
- 6:14Speaker 1: our show with me and Lepititar.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Oh what wait? Wait he didn't do it? Why not? No, dude,
- 6:20Speaker 2: because Anthony, I mean that that's the og.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Like there's been multiple iterations of the Wiggles, Like I said,
- 6:25Speaker 4: mine was Anthony, Lockey, Simon and Emma. But I want
- 6:29Speaker 4: to say that Anthony's been there the entire time.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I think he still is.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Day one, Emma and Locke were married. They ended up
- 6:37Speaker 4: getting divorced, they kept working together. I think that Emma
- 6:39Speaker 4: ended up leaving. I'm not sure. But Simon's awesome, the
- 6:44Speaker 4: big red bass love Simon, that beautiful bass voice, great
- 6:49Speaker 4: jovial personality. I could talk Wiggles all day LONGO.
- 6:53Speaker 3: So could I? Yeah? No, so could I.
- 6:55Speaker 1: What was your strategy when you went to like so
- 6:57Speaker 1: I went, like, you know, Disney on ice and I.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Did all this shit shit you gotta do.
- 7:01Speaker 1: But I was also stoned, and so what was your strategy, Like,
- 7:03Speaker 1: you weren't blowing that shit right in front of the kids.
- 7:05Speaker 3: You would let mom take him.
- 7:06Speaker 4: In firm No, no, no, this was a very I
- 7:10Speaker 4: I prefer a light edible in situations like this because
- 7:14Speaker 4: it's very controllable.
- 7:15Speaker 2: You know, like you you you you.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Rip something too hard all of a sudden you're like,
- 7:20Speaker 4: oh fuck, I did not mean to be this stone.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Like like like if you eat edible, yeah, if you
- 7:27Speaker 4: eat edibles and you get two stoned, well you're just
- 7:29Speaker 4: a fucking idiot because like, unless you read the packaging wrong,
- 7:33Speaker 4: you just ate too many. So like just keep it chill,
- 7:36Speaker 4: like five milligrams whatever. You get a nice little, easy,
- 7:39Speaker 4: kind of relaxing feeling. So yeah, that that's that would
- 7:43Speaker 4: be how how I would play it. But but I
- 7:45Speaker 4: love all that, dude. I'm trying to go to Medieval
- 7:47Speaker 4: Times this week and I still haven't been, and I
- 7:49Speaker 4: lived next door to one.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Now.
- 7:50Speaker 4: I had my eighteenth birthday at Medieval Times. I love
- 7:53Speaker 4: that place. It's probably the upset of the century that
- 7:56Speaker 4: I've lived here for six seven months and I haven't
- 7:59Speaker 4: brought my family yet, but I told him, if they
- 8:00Speaker 4: do their chores this week, say listen to dad, fucking
- 8:04Speaker 4: put your shoes in the closet. We have a laundry shoot,
- 8:08Speaker 4: which is very cool. I would have killed for one when.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I was a kid.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Just put the fucking clothes down the laundry shoot and
- 8:13Speaker 4: we'll go to medieval time setter and eat roast chicken
- 8:15Speaker 4: and cheer on the nights.
- 8:17Speaker 6: It's two guts.
- 8:18Speaker 7: I have him putting the shoes away and doing all
- 8:20Speaker 7: the laundry because he wants to go and he can
- 8:23Speaker 7: make that it's all done, and he doesn't want to
- 8:25Speaker 7: look like he you know, he didn't do He went
- 8:28Speaker 7: back on his word to his wife.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Yeah, it's funny you mentioned Laundrymikey, because that's one of
- 8:32Speaker 4: the other depressed. They're not depressing. But the interesting parts
- 8:35Speaker 4: of like getting older is like, I'm thirty seven now
- 8:38Speaker 4: and probably like the vast majority of my life, every weekend's.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Game plan has been how can.
- 8:43Speaker 4: I get as drunk as possible both Friday and Saturday night,
- 8:46Speaker 4: And for the first time in my life here recently,
- 8:50Speaker 4: I'm starting to be like, God, you know what, it's
- 8:54Speaker 4: kind of nice to not wake up hungover and then
- 8:57Speaker 4: for like, for like three Sundays in a row. Now
- 9:00Speaker 4: I've told my wife I'm not doing anything. We're going
- 9:03Speaker 4: to go to church, and when I get home on Sunday,
- 9:06Speaker 4: I am going to do all of the laundry and
- 9:09Speaker 4: put it all away so that everybody's ready for the week.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Shit that I would have hated in the past, and
- 9:14Speaker 4: I don't love it. But like the last three Sundays,
- 9:17Speaker 4: I've done four hours of laundry each Sunday. I'm talking
- 9:20Speaker 4: putting away entire closets for five human beings. But you
- 9:24Speaker 4: know what I hate even more than that when you
- 9:26Speaker 4: got to go somewhere and the kids like and.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Have any stacts, have any underwear and heavy fucking pants?
- 9:32Speaker 2: Oh really, why not?
- 9:35Speaker 4: So no excuses. I'm sending them up with no excuses.
- 9:37Speaker 4: They've got to have their shit ready to go. Also
- 9:39Speaker 4: makes it easier to get ready in the morning.
- 9:41Speaker 3: I find the doing of laundry cathartic, you know I do.
- 9:44Speaker 3: I enjoy it.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I love it.
- 9:45Speaker 4: That's what I'm realizing now is like in the past,
- 9:49Speaker 4: it felt like something I had.
- 9:50Speaker 2: To do, and I still feels like that in a way.
- 9:52Speaker 4: But I feel infinitely better afterwards, and having a good
- 9:58Speaker 4: book on tape goes a long way. Because I just
- 10:00Speaker 4: listened to Red Rising for like five hours on Sunday
- 10:03Speaker 4: and did in my room, And it's a perfect excuse
- 10:05Speaker 4: of like that's something you can ignore your kids with
- 10:10Speaker 4: and not feel guilty about.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Sure, you know, like, if.
- 10:13Speaker 4: I want to ignore my kids to like play video games,
- 10:15Speaker 4: that's fucked up. If I want to ignore my kids
- 10:17Speaker 4: to like maybe watch a movie, that's fucked up. But
- 10:20Speaker 4: if I'm doing something like useful, I'm being a good
- 10:23Speaker 4: role model. I'm like, hold, no, you want to help me,
- 10:25Speaker 4: you can get in here and help me. You can
- 10:26Speaker 4: hang out in the room. But like daddy's working right now. Okay, look, Bobby,
- 10:31Speaker 4: Quad Bob, we don't. We don't go by traditional gender
- 10:34Speaker 4: roles in this house. You're gonna grow up doing dishes
- 10:36Speaker 4: and putting away launcher. You're gonna be a true modern
- 10:39Speaker 4: man so that one day you treat your wife the
- 10:42Speaker 4: right way and you're you're contributing member of society.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 10:47Speaker 1: The waking up without a hangover part is really important,
- 10:50Speaker 1: and I'm glad you brought it up because I remember, like,
- 10:53Speaker 1: oh wow, waking up on Saturday and Sunday at seven
- 10:56Speaker 1: thirty as fresh and ready to go.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Can you imagine all I could have accomplished.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I just started doing this sooner. Oh it's so true.
- 11:07Speaker 4: And I thought that like having kids would slow it down,
- 11:09Speaker 4: but it really took, like it took until three kids
- 11:13Speaker 4: and really probably my son being about two, when it
- 11:16Speaker 4: finally it was like too much, And I'm like, you
- 11:19Speaker 4: know what, Actually this this feels feels better, Or like
- 11:22Speaker 4: not playing World of Warcraft till two am and then
- 11:25Speaker 4: waking up at six like last night, I would bet
- 11:27Speaker 4: at nine thirty. Wow, and then I actually felt really
- 11:32Speaker 4: good this morning.
- 11:35Speaker 2: It's like that thing.
- 11:35Speaker 6: Where they say at one point you're gonna pick up
- 11:37Speaker 6: your kid for the last time. You're going to wake
- 11:39Speaker 6: up hungover some point for the last time. Oh god,
- 11:43Speaker 6: it's come over you like a warm blanket.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I will say this though, this is better.
- 11:47Speaker 4: I envisioned a world where well, no, no change. What Carson,
- 11:51Speaker 4: what is this troll lighting? You just made me look
- 11:53Speaker 4: like a fucking ghost. Like I know I'm pale, but
- 11:57Speaker 4: what is this cool blue lighting you just hit me with?
- 11:59Speaker 2: Don't for a second.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Listen you went to sleep at nine there's nothing cars.
- 12:04Speaker 2: You can do to wreck Carson.
- 12:05Speaker 4: Change this, go back to what it was. It looked
- 12:08Speaker 4: way better before. Sorry, you're listening on audio. That's how
- 12:13Speaker 4: dark now. I feel like, uh no, I I kind
- 12:19Speaker 4: of envisional world maybe where like the drinking picks back
- 12:23Speaker 4: up when I can't because my dad sleeps in like
- 12:26Speaker 4: a motherfucker now I mean that motherfuckers like don't call
- 12:28Speaker 4: me before ten am, and he stays up late and
- 12:31Speaker 4: smokes cigars and just does whatever the fuck he wants.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Now, so I'll probably come back to it.
- 12:36Speaker 4: But at this stage of my life, yes, we're actually
- 12:39Speaker 4: living a little more easy.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Which is nice.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Yes, when you're an empty nester, you will come back
- 12:45Speaker 1: to it.
- 12:49Speaker 5: I'm proposing an idea US four in Chicago this summer
- 12:52Speaker 5: at a Cubs game in the bleachers and we're gonna
- 12:54Speaker 5: do a beer snake together.
- 12:56Speaker 4: I would love nothing more. Dude, that sounds fucking awesome.
- 12:59Speaker 4: I love the bleacher. I've been to Wriggly twice and
- 13:01Speaker 4: I think both times are I've been three times twice.
- 13:03Speaker 4: I said the bleachers and it was a great time.
- 13:06Speaker 4: The only problem is I made the rookie mistake of
- 13:09Speaker 4: grabbing a central seat, and when you drink that much
- 13:13Speaker 4: and you gotta pee that much, which again happens when
- 13:15Speaker 4: you get older, brutally tight quarters to be shimming by people,
- 13:20Speaker 4: and you can just feel the annoyance. It's like, it's
- 13:22Speaker 4: like when I'm going on a plane and I'm like, oh,
- 13:24Speaker 4: I want the windows so I can just get small
- 13:26Speaker 4: and lean up against it. But then I realized they
- 13:29Speaker 4: drink too many beers for the window. And now I'm
- 13:31Speaker 4: just in a three hour anxiety ridden battle to try
- 13:35Speaker 4: to not wake up this sleepy man to ask you
- 13:38Speaker 4: take my third piss of the flight. It's fucking I
- 13:41Speaker 4: hate that feeling. So I started going to aisle. I
- 13:44Speaker 4: started going aisle. Now, I just I just have to
- 13:46Speaker 4: go aisle.
- 13:47Speaker 7: Now, Taylor, You're I feel like you're asking a lot
- 13:51Speaker 7: of me, and ta Bob if you want to start
- 13:52Speaker 7: a beer snake. I'm looking at two guys and I'm like,
- 13:56Speaker 7: I think that's a sipper right there.
- 13:58Speaker 6: I don't.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Oh, I'm a sipper, There's no question it about it. Yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 1: we can do.
- 14:01Speaker 2: The heavy lifting, mikel. We'll take care. We can do
- 14:03Speaker 2: the heavy lifting.
- 14:04Speaker 6: We're gonna have to.
- 14:05Speaker 7: But it reminds me I went to my first game
- 14:07Speaker 7: at the Big House in Michigan, and I always I
- 14:10Speaker 7: spend extra money when I go to a sporting event
- 14:13Speaker 7: to sit on the aisle. I like to pour out
- 14:15Speaker 7: into the aisle. Smart's what I like to do.
- 14:18Speaker 6: One in seat one at the Big House, directly in
- 14:22Speaker 6: the middle. I bought seats one, or I was in
- 14:26Speaker 6: the middle, middle, middle.
- 14:29Speaker 7: It was, it was. It was honestly one of the
- 14:31Speaker 7: worst experiences. I almost stopped being a Michigan That's.
- 14:34Speaker 4: A good point, mikey uh you know so that so
- 14:36Speaker 4: that is what almost stopped you.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Not the just plethora of allegation. Okay, yeah, I was. Man,
- 14:47Speaker 2: it's gotta have a line. I'm proud of you, proud
- 14:50Speaker 2: of you. Everybody's got to have a line. It's one.
- 14:54Speaker 3: It better be number one on the aisle.
- 14:59Speaker 4: That is an underrated sports feeling, though, is letting getting
- 15:05Speaker 4: that aisle seat and letting yourself run wild.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I remember when I.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Was in high school, it was either the Sweet sixteen
- 15:12Speaker 4: or the Elite eight. Was in Atlanta and Duke was
- 15:15Speaker 4: playing LSU. It was actually your LSU went to the
- 15:17Speaker 4: final four.
- 15:17Speaker 2: They beat Duke.
- 15:18Speaker 4: It was JJ Reddick and I was an LSU fan,
- 15:21Speaker 4: but I had that aisle seat, and when I tell
- 15:23Speaker 4: you, you've never seen a more obnoxious man. I was sprinting
- 15:27Speaker 4: up and down the stairs, ripping. I took my LSU
- 15:30Speaker 4: sweatshirt and I rere T shirt and I ripped it
- 15:32Speaker 4: down the middle whole Cogan style, only to reveal an
- 15:35Speaker 4: LSU T shirt underneath, just to show all these Duke
- 15:38Speaker 4: fans what was up. But yeah, I haven't done that
- 15:40Speaker 4: in years, Mike. I need to get back to the aisle.
- 15:43Speaker 4: I haven't been able to do that forever.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I mean, the aisle seat does give you permission to
- 15:47Speaker 1: the staircase. It gives you a little extra space to
- 15:49Speaker 1: got to dance around, move around. It's it's it's the
- 15:52Speaker 1: perfect seat.
- 15:53Speaker 3: It is.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Also if you've never been to a game at the
- 15:56Speaker 4: Superdome in New Orleans, Superdome is great and really anywhere,
- 16:01Speaker 4: like if you're in the six hundreds, that's where you're
- 16:03Speaker 4: with the real hardcore yats, the people that sound like
- 16:06Speaker 4: to the untrained dear like is that a New York accent?
- 16:08Speaker 4: Like that very like Port City, New or on side accent.
- 16:11Speaker 4: But they fucking party hard in the six hundreds. But
- 16:14Speaker 4: then even if you're on like the front row or something.
- 16:16Speaker 4: I mean, people be like ripping the pin.
- 16:18Speaker 2: It's a. It's a. It's a when the Saints are good.
- 16:21Speaker 4: A Saints game is one of the premier sporting experiences.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Right when they're good.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, not, there hasn't been much.
- 16:28Speaker 4: We always had Drew and we got tous Shuck And
- 16:31Speaker 4: hopefully we'll have Jeremiah Love here pretty soon.
- 16:34Speaker 2: That would be fucking sick.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Dude, Why you think you're gonna get Love?
- 16:37Speaker 2: I will?
- 16:38Speaker 4: I mean everybody was saying until you like started balling
- 16:40Speaker 4: out of the combine. Now everybody's trying to say he's
- 16:42Speaker 4: like the best player in the draft. But yeah, a
- 16:44Speaker 4: lot of the early mocks were all love to the Saints. God,
- 16:48Speaker 4: that'd be the successor to Ak I would be most
- 16:51Speaker 4: It seems like during draft time, you know how the
- 16:54Speaker 4: fans always land on their consensus in the front office
- 16:58Speaker 4: just gives you like an olignment. It seems like everybody
- 17:02Speaker 4: is really really hyped on Jeremih Love coming to New Orleans.
- 17:06Speaker 1: What I love about having you on to you, Bob,
- 17:08Speaker 1: is everything we had scheduled to talk about.
- 17:10Speaker 3: We didn't get to any of it.
- 17:11Speaker 4: And yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's my fault.
- 17:15Speaker 1: But I want to get to one thing. Okay, what
- 17:17Speaker 1: is the worst on air mistake? Now it's different, you're
- 17:20Speaker 1: not doing live radio. Mikey is now shaking his head.
- 17:23Speaker 6: Because this is the one thing you gotta get.
- 17:24Speaker 3: To listen the errant judge. The speech that judge gave
- 17:29Speaker 3: is not worth getting to.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna give judge a little.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Bit of grace given that this is before the tournament.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Like show, hey, speech last year was badass, but that
- 17:38Speaker 4: was before the championship, right right, like I'm gonna I'm
- 17:41Speaker 4: gonna be but I agree with you. I think the
- 17:44Speaker 4: barstool Maining Kount, one of our funny social guys, tweeted
- 17:46Speaker 4: like man air judge speech has been ready to take
- 17:48Speaker 4: a brisk walk, like that's that's a good joke, Like
- 17:51Speaker 4: that's that's about what that speech did.
- 17:56Speaker 3: That guy.
- 17:58Speaker 4: But well we'll see if he can pick it up
- 18:01Speaker 4: as as the tournament goes on here.
- 18:04Speaker 2: A bit, well as bat will pick it up, I'm certain, right,
- 18:07Speaker 2: I would think.
- 18:08Speaker 1: So let's just play this out worst on air mistake
- 18:10Speaker 1: for ut Bob before I get to Mikeya here and
- 18:13Speaker 1: then we'll get to week one.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Time on Radio Classic Hot Mic situation, I didn't know
- 18:19Speaker 4: we were live, and I was talking about how I
- 18:23Speaker 4: love the smell of dead fish. I think it has
- 18:26Speaker 4: to do with maybe like going to this camp in
- 18:28Speaker 4: Grand Island, some Louisiana growing up, but also in George,
- 18:32Speaker 4: we had these trees, these Bradford pear trees, which when
- 18:36Speaker 4: they would bloom, it smelled like dead fish, and I
- 18:39Speaker 4: would rub them all over my hands, just sit there
- 18:42Speaker 4: and sniff him. But I guess I started talking about
- 18:48Speaker 4: maybe women from a certain part of Louisiana having the
- 18:52Speaker 4: same smell, and that was all going out live on air,
- 18:56Speaker 4: and that was not That was kind of a panic
- 19:00Speaker 4: moment when all of a sudden the chat starts blowing up.
- 19:02Speaker 4: But we can hear you, we can hear you, we
- 19:04Speaker 4: can hear you. Like I was like that, I don't
- 19:06Speaker 4: think I I think I've kind of.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Skirted a lot. I don't think I've done too much
- 19:09Speaker 2: fucked up ship. That's okay, okay.
- 19:11Speaker 1: So on our radio show every day three to five
- 19:14Speaker 1: on Fox Sports Radio, Taylor on Martin Luther king Day
- 19:17Speaker 1: said black up quarterback.
- 19:20Speaker 2: For a while.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I a few weeks later said come black or something
- 19:24Speaker 1: like that. Uh, Taylor was off the hook. Uh so
- 19:27Speaker 1: you did that your mistake. T Bob was on a
- 19:30Speaker 1: live mic that you didn't think was live. This is
- 19:33Speaker 1: Mikey a doing a live radio show, knowing he's on
- 19:35Speaker 1: a live mic and yet still saying.
- 19:37Speaker 6: This elbows are that bad?
- 19:40Speaker 7: He says he cannot physically open a bag of chips,
- 19:43Speaker 7: so he just switched to.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Look No.
- 19:56Speaker 4: But that was that was That was a comp that
- 19:58Speaker 4: was combining two different wars words into one that created
- 20:01Speaker 4: a curse word.
- 20:02Speaker 2: I think we've been there. I think I had that
- 20:04Speaker 2: happen to me one time.
- 20:06Speaker 4: We actually said fuck, but it was like two different
- 20:08Speaker 4: words that that kind of melded into one in the
- 20:10Speaker 4: speaking that's not bad Mikey that hey' no, you're you're, you're, you're,
- 20:14Speaker 4: you're good. Well, spending few days the uh I don't
- 20:21Speaker 4: I mean ship on our show we have seemingly we
- 20:24Speaker 4: used to have an FCC violation counter up how many
- 20:27Speaker 4: days we could go clean.
- 20:29Speaker 2: But then I think the bosses.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Got mad because they thought it showed that we were
- 20:33Speaker 4: being too flippant with it.
- 20:34Speaker 2: We never made it past six days.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Unfortunately, not me though surprisingly that curse a lot, but
- 20:41Speaker 4: not not not too much.
- 20:42Speaker 1: On air, we can observations with TBO next stut Got's here.

- 25:11Speaker 1: Josh Hart leads the league in shots he knows aren't

- 32:39Speaker 4: anybody who has sucked in New York, I just blame
- 32:42Speaker 4: the Jets, like I give them a get out of
- 32:45Speaker 4: jail free card. So this is Mark deserves a literal
- 32:47Speaker 4: get out of jail free card because he had to play.
- 32:50Speaker 2: For the Jets. And that's honestly why he did what
- 32:52Speaker 2: he did.
- 32:53Speaker 3: So that's fair.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I understand what you're saying, but he actually had success
- 32:55Speaker 1: with the Jets, So I don't know, Like, how fuck
- 32:58Speaker 1: I understand you spent like five, six, seven, eight seasons
- 33:01Speaker 1: with the Jets, and regardless of how it goes, the
- 33:04Speaker 1: aftermath is fat and all cocaine, alcohol, marijuana, beat up
- 33:08Speaker 1: an old man.
- 33:11Speaker 2: That's just a math. I don't know what to tell you.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Then your lawyer goes to court, he's like, you played
- 33:15Speaker 3: for the Jets, and you're.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Like, oh shit, okay, my bad. Yeah, I'm sorry, Mark,
- 33:19Speaker 2: You're good.

- 33:22Speaker 7: guess what, Phil's too.
- 33:27Speaker 3: The attorney's telling him, listen all the Jets gear. You
- 33:30Speaker 3: have put it on.
- 33:33Speaker 6: That's like a neck brace from the fumble.
- 33:39Speaker 2: We got a Gardner sympathy with the jury.

- 39:35Speaker 3: So miss it that much?
- 39:42Speaker 2: No, I think.
- 39:45Speaker 4: I think I would propose we're doing so many body
- 39:49Speaker 4: measurements right, just hand size matter, just arm length matter.
- 39:54Speaker 4: I know this is a little crass, but I want
- 39:57Speaker 4: to know dick length, if only bec us.
- 40:01Speaker 2: I think it ties.
- 40:02Speaker 4: Into alpha personalities, Like I would feel better about my
- 40:06Speaker 4: quarterback if I knew he had a fucking hog. Then
- 40:09Speaker 4: if he's just like an average guy, like the hog,
- 40:13Speaker 4: guy's gonna be more confident in everything in life. I'm
- 40:17Speaker 4: just I'm just saying, if we're measuring everything else, I mean.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I'll tell you that, right, I'm not measuring at the combine,
- 40:25Speaker 1: I'm not measuring. They'd be like, no, that's a jet
- 40:28Speaker 1: quarterback right there, God, seventh round, get to the back.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Five years from now, I's gonna take fanol shit out

- 41:19Speaker 4: why there was nothing on those bookshelves. Complete sociopathic setup
- 41:24Speaker 4: from Taylor here.
- 41:25Speaker 5: Just move.
- 41:26Speaker 2: These bookshelves are kicking my ass.
- 41:27Speaker 4: Okay, okay, okay, I will say this. You can enter
- 41:31Speaker 4: a flow state because you finish one and then you
- 41:34Speaker 4: get next to me like, oh, okay, okay, I kind
- 41:36Speaker 4: of understand this Swiss bullshit a little bit better.
- 41:41Speaker 6: H Taylor owns one book.
- 41:42Speaker 2: You are married with kids, Jesus, debob number.
- 41:46Speaker 4: I mean, I've made so much for my kid through
- 41:48Speaker 4: the years. It's I built a whole fucking trampoline. I'm
- 41:51Speaker 4: for my daughter's eighth birthday last Friday. It's been sixty
- 41:55Speaker 4: degrees all week. I'm like, oh my god, it's gonna
- 41:57Speaker 4: be awesome Friday. If Donn got home from school trimpling,
- 41:59Speaker 4: It's twenty five fucking degrees and snowing. Out there and
- 42:02Speaker 4: I'm freezing. My hands feel like they're about to fall off,
- 42:07Speaker 4: sitting there building this thing from scratch. But I got
- 42:09Speaker 4: it done, guys, Yes, I got it done. And they
- 42:13Speaker 4: loved it. Thirteen little eight year old girls running all
- 42:16Speaker 4: over the house.
- 42:17Speaker 2: It was awesome.
- 42:18Speaker 1: I mean, look what this man can accomplish when he's
- 42:20Speaker 1: not out the four in the morning getting fucking hammered.
