- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that Uh, Chuck Norris was chasing the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
- 0:05Speaker 2: The rex was not chasing the jeep.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Murray, Murray, you there. You love sandwiches. Huh, Let's go
- 0:11Speaker 1: to uh eighty. It was bo wow that Prime Time.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Maybe I had a crush on Betty Rubble.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I honestly, until after the segment ended and we went
- 0:22Speaker 2: to a commercial break, had no idea that Jonathan Coachman
- 0:25Speaker 2: was black. He caught them the game last night. It
- 0:27Speaker 2: makes me say, I want to introduce Adam Feeling as
- 0:29Speaker 2: a former I have to get a wide receiver, but
- 0:31Speaker 2: you're a former NFL wlide receiver. Man. How does that feel?
- 0:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it's well, it feels fine other than there's no
- 0:38Speaker 3: paychecks coming in anymore so so like the bank account
- 0:42Speaker 3: is going the wrong way. But no, no, it feels good.
- 0:45Speaker 3: It's been such a blessing. I've been around way too much.
- 0:48Speaker 3: My kids are probably getting sick of me, but yeah,
- 0:51Speaker 3: just being able to be all in the summer. Kids
- 0:53Speaker 3: are around, we're on the pool, we're in the lake.
- 0:56Speaker 3: We're just having a good time and coaching their sports.
- 0:58Speaker 3: So that's been busy. About two hours a day on
- 1:01Speaker 3: the baseball field, consistently between the two boys and then
- 1:06Speaker 3: playing soccer with my daughter.
- 1:07Speaker 4: So it's been full time dad mode this summer.
- 1:10Speaker 2: If I told you you were undrafted, So if I
- 1:12Speaker 2: told you when you will, you know, when you signed
- 1:14Speaker 2: your first contract you were going to play thirteen seasons
- 1:17Speaker 2: to the NFL, you would have told me what I.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Mean, I would have been like, you're crazy.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Probably, I don't know, but like or store or maybe
- 1:26Speaker 3: at that point i'd have been like, oh, yeah, that's easy,
- 1:28Speaker 3: I'm gonna play fifteen. I had a little bit of
- 1:31Speaker 3: a delusional mindset through my career of like how good
- 1:34Speaker 3: I was or how good I could be, which I
- 1:37Speaker 3: think helped me kind of, like, you know, just be
- 1:41Speaker 3: able to kind of try to meet those high expectations
- 1:44Speaker 3: that have for myself, and to do that you got
- 1:46Speaker 3: to grind, and so I really put a high standard
- 1:48Speaker 3: on myself to make sure that when I was here
- 1:51Speaker 3: in Lake Tahoe for the American Centry Championship, I was
- 1:53Speaker 3: out here running routes on the lawn like every morning, crazy,
- 1:56Speaker 3: and I was making sure that I didn't leave any
- 1:59Speaker 3: stone on turn because I wanted to be the best
- 2:01Speaker 3: of the best.
- 2:02Speaker 2: When you're running routes out of wherever you're doing. It
- 2:05Speaker 2: was Mahomes throwing the ball to like who was throwing
- 2:06Speaker 2: the balls with that?
- 2:07Speaker 3: Well, one year Trevor Lawrence through to me, But for
- 2:09Speaker 3: the most part it was like Marty Fish through to me,
- 2:12Speaker 3: one another buddy through to me, and then a lot
- 2:15Speaker 3: of it was just running routes, like I can catch
- 2:18Speaker 3: a football, right, I just need to make sure I'm
- 2:20Speaker 3: in shape and ready for the wear and tear of
- 2:23Speaker 3: the ground and pound of the season. So mostly just
- 2:26Speaker 3: running routes, running fast, doing conditioning things like that.
- 2:29Speaker 5: When you have an undrafted tryout and you eventually make
- 2:32Speaker 5: the team, how difficult is it because they're they're investing
- 2:36Speaker 5: so many of their resources into the guys that are
- 2:38Speaker 5: getting drafted to where you're coming in undrafted and you
- 2:41Speaker 5: kind of have to realize that I'm not going to
- 2:43Speaker 5: get that many chances here.
- 2:44Speaker 2: By the way, you're talking to a walk on wide
- 2:46Speaker 2: receiver at the University of North Carolina.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I'm a huge tar Heel fan.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I really love that.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean since I was a little kid up,
- 2:53Speaker 3: baby baby blue is.
- 2:54Speaker 4: My favorite color.
- 2:54Speaker 3: So I just like gravitated towards UNC and I'm a
- 2:57Speaker 3: big basketball guy. So UNC and basketball are so happy, right.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Check out, I'm not going there. I'm not going there.
- 3:08Speaker 2: I forgot the question.
- 3:09Speaker 4: I don't know where I am now.
- 3:10Speaker 1: So.
- 3:12Speaker 3: That you got yes, yeah, so no, I mean it's
- 3:16Speaker 3: really crazy looking back at it, to be honest. Is
- 3:19Speaker 3: so when I I came to rookie camp, I didn't
- 3:21Speaker 3: have a contract, and at the time, they just had
- 3:24Speaker 3: the draft. They just signed all these free agents, uh,
- 3:27Speaker 3: one of them being a North Carolina wide receiver, I believe. Anyways,
- 3:31Speaker 3: they they already have the roster, and so for me
- 3:34Speaker 3: to make it, they have to cut somebody that they
- 3:36Speaker 3: just gave a signing bonus to and then they have
- 3:38Speaker 3: to sign me. So like like you said, they already
- 3:40Speaker 3: put these times, this time to to see this guy
- 3:44Speaker 3: and to research them and then give them money as well,
- 3:47Speaker 3: right and then and then they have to give me
- 3:49Speaker 3: three days to be able to prove that I'm better
- 3:50Speaker 3: than to cut him.
- 3:51Speaker 4: So right now I get more nervous.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Thinking about then in the moment, the moment, I was like,
- 3:54Speaker 3: I don't care, like I'm gonna beat him out, like
- 3:56Speaker 3: I'm better than them. And so it worked out and
- 3:59Speaker 3: they end up cut a guy that they just gave
- 4:01Speaker 3: up ten thousand dollars to three days before that, basically
- 4:05Speaker 3: to come and practice for three days, and then they
- 4:07Speaker 3: signed me, which is pretty cool.
- 4:08Speaker 2: We are at the American Century Championships here in Lake Tahoe,
- 4:12Speaker 2: and I was trying to explain to Taylor he's young, Okay,
- 4:14Speaker 2: but I saw you on the driving way range with
- 4:16Speaker 2: Jack Wagner. Can you explain to Taylor not who Jack
- 4:19Speaker 2: Wagner is. I've done that, but just how important he
- 4:22Speaker 2: is to the proceedings here in Lake Tahoe.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Well, I believe he's been at every one, yes, and
- 4:26Speaker 3: so not too many guys can say that night one y.
- 4:29Speaker 2: And he's the legend.
- 4:30Speaker 4: And everyone loves Jack.
- 4:33Speaker 3: I mean I've played with him a few times in
- 4:36Speaker 3: like the I shouldn't even say this, but the older women,
- 4:39Speaker 3: yeah love Jack Wadner.
- 4:41Speaker 2: My wife was here a couple of years ago. The
- 4:42Speaker 2: only person she wanted to meet was Jack. Yeah.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Yes, I mean he is an unbelievable guy. I love him.
- 4:48Speaker 4: We've got a great relationship, played a ton of golf together.
- 4:51Speaker 3: And he looks great. I mean you would never guess
- 4:54Speaker 3: how old he is, and he looks awesome. Yes, and
- 4:57Speaker 3: he's still doing it. I'm like, dude, can you retire.
- 5:00Speaker 3: He's on like season fourteen of the show and he's
- 5:04Speaker 3: going to Vancouver for months to film, and I'm like,
- 5:06Speaker 3: come on, man, like time for you to just play
- 5:08Speaker 3: golf in or live.
- 5:11Speaker 2: What makes this place so special? This tournament's so special.
- 5:14Speaker 2: You guys love coming here, man.
- 5:15Speaker 4: It's so good. I think it's just the atmosphere.
- 5:18Speaker 3: You just it feels like a pro tour is man,
- 5:21Speaker 3: and we all think that we're pro golfers. We're farthest
- 5:24Speaker 3: from it you can possibly get. But when you come
- 5:27Speaker 3: out here and you got the ropes, you got the fans,
- 5:30Speaker 3: you got the programs, and you got this big build up,
- 5:33Speaker 3: you got the events, and then you get to seventeen
- 5:36Speaker 3: and you got the fandom.
- 5:37Speaker 2: So cool.
- 5:38Speaker 4: There's just no better feeling, you.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Know, like Game day is great, but this is like, yes,
- 5:43Speaker 3: and this is all of our element right, Like this
- 5:45Speaker 3: is something that we don't do for a living. And
- 5:47Speaker 3: then you show up here and you want to compete,
- 5:49Speaker 3: You want to win every you think you can win.
- 5:51Speaker 3: And I bet there's sixty to seventy guys who think
- 5:54Speaker 3: they're gonna win this thing. Even though a lot of
- 5:56Speaker 3: them don't have a chance, including myself.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Well, yes you do.
- 5:59Speaker 3: That's that, and so you think you're gonna win it
- 6:01Speaker 3: until you get to the first t box and you
- 6:03Speaker 3: duck hook it in the woods, and then it's like.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Oh well.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Billis was telling us a couple of weeks ago, I
- 6:09Speaker 2: don't know what it's like to play at Augusta, but
- 6:11Speaker 2: for a weekend, I feel like I'm a PGA Tour
- 6:13Speaker 2: player playing at Augusta. He also said that if he
- 6:16Speaker 2: was not invited back to this event, his wife would
- 6:19Speaker 2: leave him and marry someone else who was invited to
- 6:22Speaker 2: this event.
- 6:22Speaker 4: That's a great point.
- 6:23Speaker 3: I went all the way up till about three or
- 6:26Speaker 3: four weeks ago until I got the invite right, and
- 6:28Speaker 3: so my wife had the divorce papers ready, Like she
- 6:31Speaker 3: was like, you are now not cool enough to go
- 6:34Speaker 3: to the town.
- 6:34Speaker 4: It's my favorite week of the year. So what do
- 6:36Speaker 4: I do? Now?
- 6:38Speaker 5: Do you feel more pressure this year since you are
- 6:41Speaker 5: retired Now, like a lot of these NFL guys, they
- 6:43Speaker 5: have training camp in the back of your mind, You've
- 6:45Speaker 5: had a lot of free time to kind of prepare
- 6:47Speaker 5: for this event.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Now, Yeah, definitely, I definitely put more pressure myself going
- 6:51Speaker 3: this year. I put more time into it. So I'm like,
- 6:54Speaker 3: if I don't play better, like I just wasted a
- 6:57Speaker 3: lot of time and money. So but no, it's it's again.
- 7:01Speaker 3: It's such a blessing to be out here. I mean
- 7:03Speaker 3: even just sitting right here, I'm like, as I'm talking
- 7:05Speaker 3: to guys, I'm like, man, I need.
- 7:06Speaker 4: To hit some golf balls.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Just a it's just an event that just gets those
- 7:11Speaker 3: competitive juices out. And like you see these other guys
- 7:13Speaker 3: practicing and they got their swing coaches and they got
- 7:17Speaker 3: all this going on.
- 7:18Speaker 4: It's like, oh, yeah, like this is this is awesome.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Yeah, how annoying is twelve men? By the way, I
- 7:22Speaker 2: mean he listened. He was on with us earlier and
- 7:24Speaker 2: he's like, hey, I've only played three rounds in the
- 7:26Speaker 2: last six months. And I'm like, it's such a why
- 7:28Speaker 2: he is.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Yeah, he always sets the stage and I love him
- 7:33Speaker 3: more than anyone, Yes, but he always sets the stage. Oh,
- 7:36Speaker 3: I've been so busy. I've been in eight cities in
- 7:39Speaker 3: three days. Like I'm like, I'm a hey, man, let's
- 7:43Speaker 3: go wake up and figure it out. I said today
- 7:46Speaker 3: he was on the range, and I said, Taylor, no
- 7:47Speaker 3: one cares about soccer anymore. The USA loss, Like, no
- 7:50Speaker 3: one cares anymore. Like you can relax, you don't have
- 7:53Speaker 3: to talk about the team anymore.
- 7:54Speaker 5: Yes, go ahead, del You mentioned being around the house more.
- 7:58Speaker 5: I'm wondering, according to him, feeling, what's the worst chore
- 8:01Speaker 5: that you've had?
- 8:02Speaker 2: A pick that's so good.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I hate the dishwasher, like of all things, really, like
- 8:08Speaker 3: if I have to empty the dishwasher is like my
- 8:10Speaker 3: greatest fear.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Really, I hate it and my wife expects it.
- 8:13Speaker 3: You played football, dude, I hate emptying the dish I
- 8:16Speaker 3: don't know what it is, because you got there's so
- 8:17Speaker 3: many steps to it, like right, get all this stuff out,
- 8:21Speaker 3: you put on the counter, and then it's still kind
- 8:22Speaker 3: of wet, and then you got to like dry it off,
- 8:25Speaker 3: and then you got to put it in the right
- 8:26Speaker 3: spots and I don't know where anything goes.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Yes, that's the biggest problems, right, and then I can
- 8:32Speaker 2: yelled at so it's like, well.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Why did I even do it?
- 8:35Speaker 2: Yes? So wait, So, if given the choice to catch
- 8:37Speaker 2: a pass over the middle of the field and get
- 8:39Speaker 2: nailed by a free safety or unloading the dishwasher, you
- 8:42Speaker 2: would choose what.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Oh, I take a hit.
- 8:46Speaker 3: All day as long as it's not to my knees
- 8:49Speaker 3: or my head, like, I'll take the hit right.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Stuke got to here. The biggest stage in world soccer

- 10:14Speaker 2: All you guys out here become really good friends. And
- 10:16Speaker 2: and I point that out only to ask you were
- 10:18Speaker 2: you invited to the Kelsey wedding.
- 10:20Speaker 4: I wasn't invited.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I kept checking the mailbox, but I
- 10:24Speaker 3: don't know if he lost my address. No, he's he's
- 10:29Speaker 3: a great guy, and I've got to know him pretty
- 10:31Speaker 3: well out here and just playing against him a bunch
- 10:33Speaker 3: and really happy for him.
- 10:35Speaker 4: But I don't think Taylor.
- 10:36Speaker 3: I don't think I was on the first ballot of
- 10:40Speaker 3: people to send invites on Taylor's list.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Yes, but you never know. I mean, Dean Blandino was invited.
- 10:46Speaker 2: That has to pay it. Pisces me off that Dean
- 10:48Speaker 2: Blandino was about.
- 10:49Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know you have, like do you
- 10:50Speaker 3: have an official list of invitees? Like I would love
- 10:53Speaker 3: to see, like the official list. I'd also love him
- 10:55Speaker 3: behind the scenes of like how they determined who they
- 10:58Speaker 3: were gonna invite. Yes, you know, I'm sure they didn't
- 11:00Speaker 3: really worry about was that at Madison Square Garden?
- 11:03Speaker 4: Is that true?
- 11:04Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 11:04Speaker 4: I guess they didn't have to worry about capacity.
- 11:07Speaker 5: Looks like it's about twenty thousand.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Yes, And Jason Kelsey still hanging out there until he
- 11:10Speaker 2: comes here, right.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Not leaving. He's like, this is my spot.
- 11:15Speaker 2: But I think some of the guys from here had
- 11:17Speaker 2: to be invited, I would imagine.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, I think so. I think there was a
- 11:19Speaker 4: few guys.
- 11:20Speaker 2: You don't see that. You seem okay with it. You
- 11:22Speaker 2: seem like you're at peace with it.
- 11:23Speaker 3: I've never worried about invite invites to weddings, right, if
- 11:27Speaker 3: it happens, I'll come support you.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Awesome, I'm not.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Actually excited when I don't get invited if, yeah, that's true,
- 11:32Speaker 2: that's a lot less work. Yes, So what are you
- 11:34Speaker 2: gonna do after this?
- 11:35Speaker 3: Man?
- 11:35Speaker 2: I know, listen, everyone's probably asking you that. But usually
- 11:39Speaker 2: you were running routes out of the lawn here, and
- 11:41Speaker 2: now you don't have to anymore. So what are you
- 11:42Speaker 2: going to do when this when this tournament's over?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I've already started coaching youth sports I've been coaching
- 11:49Speaker 3: nine you and seven U baseball.
- 11:52Speaker 2: You enjoy it? Love it? Yeah, absolutely love it.
- 11:55Speaker 3: I've just there's challenges to it, and there's a lot
- 11:57Speaker 3: you know, parents and oh I with that kind of stuff.
- 12:01Speaker 2: And I coach my daughter and lacrosse. Man, you got
- 12:03Speaker 2: to deal with the parents, and you know what you
- 12:04Speaker 2: have to do. You have to tell your kids, tell
- 12:05Speaker 2: you every once in a while. I got to scream
- 12:07Speaker 2: at you just to save face. Yeah, now, don't take
- 12:09Speaker 2: a personal good point.
- 12:11Speaker 4: I do do that, but it's not for that reason.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Yes, you do it because they.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Both of my boys.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Man, But but no, I love it, and in fact,
- 12:22Speaker 3: I love it.
- 12:23Speaker 4: I love I really love coaching the other kids.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Like yeah, I love being around my kids and spending
- 12:27Speaker 3: more time with them and helping them through things and
- 12:29Speaker 3: sharing some knowledge. But it's the other kids that that
- 12:32Speaker 3: I love it, like seeing their progression and seeing you know,
- 12:35Speaker 3: some of the things. Maybe I don't know what I'm
- 12:37Speaker 3: talking about, but sometimes I feel like I do, and
- 12:39Speaker 3: and I love to see the you know, the positives
- 12:41Speaker 3: that come from it, even just from an attitude. Like
- 12:44Speaker 3: for me, like I coach mostly and there's some technique
- 12:47Speaker 3: stuff and all that that I feel like I can
- 12:49Speaker 3: help with. But most of what I coach is like
- 12:51Speaker 3: attitude and effort, which I don't feel is very hard,
- 12:54Speaker 3: but for nine year olds, for some reason, it's really
- 12:57Speaker 3: hard to do. And so my son is the number
- 12:59Speaker 3: one kid like he he is very emotional and he
- 13:03Speaker 3: and he is a perfectionist and he doesn't want to fail,
- 13:06Speaker 3: and so just learning how to fail, which I think
- 13:08Speaker 3: is why sports are so awesome, because it forces you
- 13:11Speaker 3: to learn how to fail. You're going to fail no
- 13:14Speaker 3: matter who you are, You're going to fail in sports,
- 13:17Speaker 3: and guess what life, You're gonna fail.
- 13:21Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 13:21Speaker 5: Do you feel like coaching puts a target on your
- 13:24Speaker 5: kid's team? Because if I was a washed up athlete
- 13:27Speaker 5: across from you on the sideline and I saw Adam
- 13:29Speaker 5: Thielen was coaching the other team, it becomes by super Bowl.
- 13:32Speaker 4: No, definitely, yeah, got beat team.
- 13:35Speaker 3: People want to win for that reason, yes, And they
- 13:37Speaker 3: want to show how much better their kid is than
- 13:39Speaker 3: my kids. And so my son ends up getting a lot,
- 13:43Speaker 3: uh you know, like the best efforts of the other
- 13:46Speaker 3: other players, which is great for him.
- 13:47Speaker 4: So I'm all about it. I'm fine with that.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I'm competitive, so I want to win too, But I
- 13:53Speaker 3: just love the development. I love his kids just learning
- 13:56Speaker 3: how to handle, like I said, adversity and challenges, and
- 13:59Speaker 3: also just the glory of like they win a game
- 14:02Speaker 3: in the last inning and and they dog pile of
- 14:05Speaker 3: each other, Like we coached the seven on seven tournament
- 14:08Speaker 3: and like we got down to that my son caught
- 14:09Speaker 3: a ball over the middle and gets down on the
- 14:12Speaker 3: on the one inch yard line. We had three downs
- 14:14Speaker 3: to win the game, and we didn't do it. But
- 14:15Speaker 3: it was like so fun for them to feel that
- 14:18Speaker 3: energy and excitement, Like you can't teach that stuff, and
- 14:21Speaker 3: like that's how you fall in love with the game
- 14:23Speaker 3: when they get a feeling of that, and then it's like, oh,
- 14:25Speaker 3: I want this and I want to practice more so
- 14:28Speaker 3: that when I'm in those moments, I can I can
- 14:29Speaker 3: do it. So it's it's it's so fun.
- 14:31Speaker 2: You tell those parents, by the way, they could be
- 14:33Speaker 2: coaching if they wanted to tell them to put the
- 14:35Speaker 2: time and stop deplating to you. You know.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Thankfully, thankfully no one's complained to me, but they complain
- 14:40Speaker 3: to the other coaches, right, and they tell us how
- 14:42Speaker 3: bad we are at coaching, which it is what it is.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I'll get you out of here in a second. Could
- 14:47Speaker 2: you see coaching in your future? Is that something that
- 14:49Speaker 2: you would consider?
- 14:50Speaker 4: Yeah, not not at a high level, but for sure.
- 14:52Speaker 3: I mean, I love I love it, you know, the
- 14:55Speaker 3: higher the level my kids go, it's just fun to
- 14:57Speaker 3: be around it. And again, like I feel like, I've
- 15:00Speaker 3: I played four sports throughout high school, so I feel
- 15:02Speaker 3: like I have a lot of abroad understanding of different
- 15:06Speaker 3: sports and just the competitive edge and and mindset and
- 15:11Speaker 3: practice and and how that relates the game. So I
- 15:14Speaker 3: feel like there's a lot of knowledge that I love.
- 15:15Speaker 3: I would love to continue to share.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Stu, I got a THEO and Adam is gonna win
- 15:19Speaker 5: this tour.
- 15:21Speaker 2: He's never heard that workshop man.
- 15:25Speaker 4: For three years, I've been thinking that joke around that
- 15:27Speaker 4: felt forced.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I've always told you, Now, I don't I have no
- 15:33Speaker 2: idea what you're gonna do. Maybe it's go jing, but
- 15:35Speaker 2: I've always thot you're great at this at media. Is
- 15:37Speaker 2: that something you want to do?
- 15:38Speaker 4: Yeah, No, one hundred percent. I'm actually starting a podcast here.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Yeah, and I'm going to dabble in that and then
- 15:43Speaker 3: hopefully built a studio in my house so I can
- 15:46Speaker 3: dabble into, you know, just doing some shows and whatever.
- 15:49Speaker 3: I don't know what it's gonna look like, but yeah,
- 15:51Speaker 3: I love it. I love talking sports, I love talking shop,
- 15:53Speaker 3: hanging out. I Unfortunately, my wife says I talk too much.
- 15:56Speaker 3: So it's pretty good for this kind of stuff, right, right,
- 15:59Speaker 3: But you'll be tired.
- 16:00Speaker 2: To talking for like an hour and a half and
- 16:01Speaker 2: you don't have to hear from you that.
- 16:03Speaker 4: We'll get it all out. It'd be a good thing
- 16:04Speaker 4: for everyone.
- 16:05Speaker 3: But I did a little NFL radio, uh you know, yesterday,
- 16:09Speaker 3: and uh we'll do some of that this fall.
- 16:11Speaker 4: So yeah, it's all good.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Me and Taylor want to help you out if you
- 16:14Speaker 2: if you're willing to have us tell I could already
- 16:16Speaker 2: see it in Taylor's eyes. He wants to produce your podcast.
- 16:19Speaker 2: We know what we're doing. We're pretty good at this.
- 16:21Speaker 2: We want to help you out.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I appreciate it. If fun being with you guys.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Obviously, you guys got a lot of knowledge that you
- 16:27Speaker 3: can share with me, like I try to share with
- 16:29Speaker 3: the kids.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Yes, yes, if I was going to teach my kid,
- 16:31Speaker 2: if if my kid wanted to play wide receiver in
- 16:33Speaker 2: the NFL. I'd be like, hey, I'm going to call
- 16:35Speaker 2: Adam Thiel and he'll teach you how to do that.
- 16:37Speaker 2: And so I'm telling you, if you want to learn
- 16:39Speaker 2: the podcast game, you might want to hang with me
- 16:40Speaker 2: and Taylor because we could show you how to do that.
- 16:42Speaker 4: I'm in the right spot.
- 16:43Speaker 2: I think you're not going to be excited.
- 16:44Speaker 4: You need to learn how to play football, and this
- 16:46Speaker 4: is this is right where I need to be.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Last question, what do you think you'll miss most about football?
- 16:51Speaker 4: Just game days?
- 16:51Speaker 3: That's it, right, Yeah, the locker room obviously, that's what
- 16:54Speaker 3: everyone says. And the relationships, whether that's your teammates or
- 16:59Speaker 3: the coaches or the staff. Like, man, like, what a
- 17:02Speaker 3: blessing to just build so many cool, strong relationships over
- 17:07Speaker 3: my thirteen years. And there just people that I respect
- 17:09Speaker 3: so much that don't get a lot of glory or
- 17:12Speaker 3: they don't get you know, the recognition, but they're just
- 17:14Speaker 3: great people and work hard all for this goal to
- 17:17Speaker 3: win a championship that they're not even they are a
- 17:20Speaker 3: part of, but they're not on the field, right, and
- 17:21Speaker 3: so that part. But yeah, game days, you show up
- 17:25Speaker 3: to that stadium, you come on the field to warm up,
- 17:27Speaker 3: like there is no greater feeling like the end of
- 17:30Speaker 3: my career when I could just like walk on the
- 17:32Speaker 3: field and be like this is amazing, like and I
- 17:35Speaker 3: just like soak it all in, like do my warm
- 17:37Speaker 3: up routine, like felt so good and like didn't care
- 17:40Speaker 3: what happened because it was just so fun to be
- 17:43Speaker 3: a part of.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Uh. Definitely what miss out.
- 17:45Speaker 2: You should start your podcast with the anthem with you
- 17:47Speaker 2: walking in through the tuttle every day, just to kind
- 17:49Speaker 2: of get that feeling back, you know. See, That's what
- 17:51Speaker 2: I'm telling you. Man, there we go.
- 17:52Speaker 3: I'm gonna like put a I'm gonna have like a
- 17:54Speaker 3: button as I walk down the stairs in my studio
- 17:56Speaker 3: and it's gonna just start playing the national anthem as
- 17:59Speaker 3: I walked down, have the American flag hung up.
- 18:02Speaker 4: So all right, it's a great idea.
- 18:04Speaker 2: We love seeing you every year, man, and we appreciate
- 18:06Speaker 2: you doing this. Congratulations on a great career. You're going
- 18:08Speaker 2: the Hall of Fame. Man. Oh man, I was looking
- 18:10Speaker 2: at the numbers earlier. You're going to Canton.
- 18:12Speaker 4: That's I don't think that's possible.
- 18:14Speaker 2: What are you talking about? It is possible.
- 18:15Speaker 4: I think I got a shot at like the Ring
- 18:17Speaker 4: of Honor or something like that.
- 18:18Speaker 2: But I take it too far.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Yeah, too far, too far.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Un that's I come back and play like our ten
- 18:23Speaker 3: years and have like all right thousand catches.
- 18:25Speaker 2: But well, what if a team calls you like halfway
- 18:27Speaker 2: through the season, what are you gonna do?
- 18:28Speaker 3: I mean, I'll take all calls, Okay, just that one
- 18:31Speaker 3: from the Jets, right yeah, probably not going anywhere else
- 18:35Speaker 3: out the Minnesota, and definitely not the Jets.
- 18:40Speaker 2: The Jets never have a need.
- 18:42Speaker 4: I can handle Minnesota media. I think I can handle
- 18:44Speaker 4: New York media or fans.
- 18:46Speaker 2: No, I love them to dad or to lose.
- 18:48Speaker 4: It there, But.
- 18:51Speaker 2: All right, get out of here, man, We appreciate it.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Good Luck this week, Congratulations on a great career. More importantly,
- 18:56Speaker 2: good luck this week at the American Century Championship, because,
- 18:59Speaker 2: as you pointed out, it's the greatest weekend of your life.
- 19:02Speaker 2: There's nothing better than it, not even game days. I
- 19:04Speaker 2: don't think.
- 19:05Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 19:05Speaker 3: I think this is better than game It is because
- 19:07Speaker 3: I'm not getting I know, I'm not going to get injured.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Well there's I guess you could, yes, but I'm less
- 19:14Speaker 3: likely to get injured out here, so that's a good feeling.
- 19:16Speaker 2: By the way, how many times his fish played the course.
- 19:18Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's like Rory at Augusta. Man, he
- 19:20Speaker 2: just keeps playing it over and over again.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Keep telling him that getting his head a little bit,
- 19:24Speaker 3: like you played this way too much.
- 19:26Speaker 4: It's not fair.
- 19:27Speaker 2: I'm going to tell him. He's such a heavy favorite.
- 19:29Speaker 2: There's no way anyone's gonna be a feeling you're gonna
- 19:31Speaker 2: win it this year. We put flyers on you, no pressure.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I just need to grind a little.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Bit, all right. As Taylor said, I have a feeling
- 19:38Speaker 2: Jesus so forced. Anyway, thank you for doing this, man,
- 19:42Speaker 2: We appreciate it. Thanks guys, all right, but
- 19:44Speaker 5: Perfect appreciate you, guys.
