Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
• 0:05
Speaker 1: Jeff Staley is now being sued by J.P. Morgan for
• 0:10
Speaker 1: allegedly hiding his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. And while I
• 0:14
Speaker 1: love to see Jeff Staley get sued here, I find
• 0:18
Speaker 1: it a bit laughable that J.P. Morgan is going to
• 0:21
Speaker 1: try and act like they had no idea what was
• 0:24
Speaker 1: going on and it was all Jeff Staley's fault. The institutions,
• 0:29
Speaker 1: the financial institutions, never take responsibility for anything. There's always
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: a fall guy. There's always a reason why. And there's
• 0:36
Speaker 1: always an excuse. You know what there never is? Jail
• 0:40
Speaker 1: sentences for these scumbags. The modern day robber barons, you know,
• 0:45
Speaker 1: the same people who were responsible for the housing crash
• 0:48
Speaker 1: in 2008, 2009, the same people who never went to
• 0:49
Speaker 1: prison or jail. Yeah, those same people are now telling
• 0:54
Speaker 1: you that they weren't responsible for their relationship with Jeffrey
• 0:57
Speaker 1: Epstein and it's all on Jeff Staley. Well, those of
• 1:01
Speaker 1: us who have been paying attention, we know that that's BS.
• 1:04
Speaker 1: While Jeff Staley was a huge part of it, a
• 1:07
Speaker 1: key cog in the machine, he wasn't the only one involved.
• 1:11
Speaker 1: There were plenty of people at JP Morgan who could
• 1:14
Speaker 1: have stopped Jeffrey Epstein and none of them did it.
• 1:17
Speaker 1: Not one of them stepped up and said, look, we
• 1:19
Speaker 1: can't do business with this scumbag. Look what he's up to. Instead,
• 1:23
Speaker 1: they just kept counting their dollars and securing that bag.
• 1:28
Speaker 1: And it's not just Jeffrey Epstein. Remember, Epstein's the tip
• 1:31
Speaker 1: of the iceberg, folks. He's who we focus on mainly here,
• 1:35
Speaker 1: but he's just a symptom of the problem. There are
• 1:38
Speaker 1: groups like this all over the world, and there are
• 1:42
Speaker 1: more people in slavery right now, modern-day slavery, than there
• 1:45
Speaker 1: has ever been enslaved ever in history. And if you
• 1:50
Speaker 1: think it was only Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell doing
• 1:52
Speaker 1: this shit, I got news for you. It wasn't. And
• 1:56
Speaker 1: whether it's human trafficking or narco-trafficking or insert criminal behavior here,
• 2:02
Speaker 1: none of it would be possible without the complicity of
• 2:05
Speaker 1: the financial sector. So it's always laughable when these institutions
• 2:09
Speaker 1: try to scapegoat somebody. Today we have an article from
• 2:13
Speaker 1: the Daily Mail and the headline, JP Morgan sues former
• 2:17
Speaker 1: executive for hiding Jeffrey Epstein's sex abuse to help retain
• 2:21
Speaker 1: pervert financier, pedophile, as bank's client. Lawsuit says he should
• 2:26
Speaker 1: be liable for any fines levied against the firm and
• 2:30
Speaker 1: demands he repay his wages. Well, you know Jeff Staley's
• 2:34
Speaker 1: going to say, right? Well, everybody else knew as well.
• 2:37
Speaker 1: And I hope that the fingers start pointing and I
• 2:39
Speaker 1: hope everybody gets thrown under the bus here and then
• 2:42
Speaker 1: I hope everybody's subpoenaed. You know how that would have
• 2:45
Speaker 1: happened and how we could have avoided all of this?
• 2:48
Speaker 1: That's right. You know what I'm going to say. They
• 2:50
Speaker 1: should have been hit with Rico right away because all
• 2:53
Speaker 1: of these people that were doing business with Jeffrey Epstein,
• 2:56
Speaker 1: sending money to his bank, receiving money from him, all
• 2:59
Speaker 1: of those people would get caught up in that dragnet
• 3:01
Speaker 1: and all of them would be charged with Rico. Now,
• 3:04
Speaker 1: would all of those predicates stick? Of course they wouldn't.
• 3:07
Speaker 1: But it would be a glimpse into the books of
• 3:09
Speaker 1: a lot of these people. The government refuses to do it,
• 3:13
Speaker 1: just like the government refuses to let you know who
• 3:16
Speaker 1: the Johns were who were using Jeffrey Epstein or how
• 3:19
Speaker 1: they refused to provide any clarity about Jeffrey Epstein's death.
• 3:25
Speaker 1: Today's article is authored by Alex Oliveira. J.P. Morgan has
• 3:31
Speaker 1: sued a former executive. who was allegedly responsible for keeping
• 3:35
Speaker 1: pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein's business at the bank for
• 3:39
Speaker 1: 15 years. So you mean to tell me at this
• 3:42
Speaker 1: bank there's no checks and balances? JP Morgan? Jeff Staley
• 3:46
Speaker 1: could just do whatever he wants? He was God there?
• 3:48
Speaker 1: There was nobody above him. Why didn't auditing step in?
• 3:52
Speaker 1: Where was accounting? Where was accountability? See, all of these
• 3:57
Speaker 1: different levels that are there as redundancies to make sure
• 4:00
Speaker 1: this doesn't happen... They were either all bunny hopped or
• 4:04
Speaker 1: they all just kept silent. It can't be anything else
• 4:06
Speaker 1: because they certainly knew. You mean to tell me auditing
• 4:10
Speaker 1: didn't take a look at what was going on or
• 4:11
Speaker 1: accounting and didn't say to themselves, holy shit, man, we
• 4:14
Speaker 1: got ourselves a pedophile. Of course they did. They have
• 4:17
Speaker 1: a whole division of people who do just that. But
• 4:21
Speaker 1: somehow it's just Jess Daly's fault, right? Now, don't misunderstand me.
• 4:25
Speaker 1: Jess Daly owns the lion's share here. But for JP
• 4:28
Speaker 1: Morgan to act like they had no idea... I'm not
• 4:31
Speaker 1: buying that. James Edward Jeff Staley was sued by J.P.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: Morgan after U.S. Virgin Islands filed a lawsuit against the bank,
• 4:40
Speaker 1: claiming it knew about Epstein's nefarious behavior for years but
• 4:44
Speaker 1: turned a blind eye to it. The suing of Staley
• 4:48
Speaker 1: draws him into J.P. Morgan's case with the government of
• 4:51
Speaker 1: the U.S. Virgin Islands and positions him as a defendant.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: The move could make Staley responsible for J.P. Morgan's financial
• 4:59
Speaker 1: damages if the bank loses its case. He's in severe
• 5:02
Speaker 1: jeopardy here, folks. Not only does he have the government
• 5:05
Speaker 1: going after him, all of his buddies at J.P. Morgan,
• 5:09
Speaker 1: or former buddies, they've all turned on him now, and
• 5:11
Speaker 1: he's enemy number one, right? Now that the spotlight is
• 5:15
Speaker 1: on them as a whole, as an entity, well, they
• 5:18
Speaker 1: have to find that scapegoat. We can't look at Jamie
• 5:21
Speaker 1: Dimon and J.P. Morgan and say, why didn't you stop
• 5:24
Speaker 1: this guy? Oh, no, no, no. They have to tell
• 5:27
Speaker 1: you that it's just Jeff Staley, and that's it. The
• 5:30
Speaker 1: buck stops there when the reality is we know it
• 5:33
Speaker 1: goes all the way to the top. The U.S. Virgin
• 5:36
Speaker 1: Islands alleged in its lawsuit that Staley exchanged a number
• 5:39
Speaker 1: of explicit emails with Epstein, which included pictures of underage women.
• 5:44
Speaker 1: Those emails allegedly continued after Epstein was convicted of soliciting
• 5:49
Speaker 1: prostitution from an underage girl in 2008. So he knew
• 5:54
Speaker 1: that Jeffrey Epstein was trying to diddle little girls and
• 5:57
Speaker 1: still was trading emails with them. looking at pictures of
• 6:00
Speaker 1: underage girls, talking about Snow White, Disney characters, because, you know,
• 6:05
Speaker 1: that's just normal behavior for grown-ass men. Is anybody buying this? Like, honestly,
• 6:11
Speaker 1: who buys this bullshit? Staley was known to have shared
• 6:14
Speaker 1: a close relationship with Epstein over the years, with the
• 6:17
Speaker 1: pair sometimes taking trips together. Staley has not been convicted
• 6:22
Speaker 1: of any crimes in relation to Epstein. Well, he's never
• 6:25
Speaker 1: been tried for any crimes in relation to Epstein. never
• 6:28
Speaker 1: been called on the carpet in relation to Epstein, and
• 6:31
Speaker 1: has never had to answer any real questions related to Epstein. And,
• 6:35
Speaker 1: you know, that's how the process usually works, right? You
• 6:38
Speaker 1: have to actually be accused of something first. And for
• 6:41
Speaker 1: all of these years, nobody wanted to accuse Jeff Staley
• 6:44
Speaker 1: of anything, when, in reality, he should have been at
• 6:47
Speaker 1: the top of the list of people being looked at
• 6:50
Speaker 1: as far as being complicit financially with Jeffrey Epstein. In
• 6:54
Speaker 1: its lawsuit against J.P. Morgan filed in December, the U.S.
• 6:57
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands alleged the bank had more than close up
• 7:00
Speaker 1: view of Epstein sex trafficking. It also said the bank
• 7:05
Speaker 1: ignored obvious red flags relating to Epstein's accounts. There is
• 7:09
Speaker 1: no doubt that there were red flags in abundance surrounding
• 7:13
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. But guess what? It was all about securing
• 7:16
Speaker 1: a bag. All people cared about was making money. And
• 7:19
Speaker 1: if they can make money on the back of Jeffrey Epstein,
• 7:22
Speaker 1: who cares how scummy he is? And that was their
• 7:25
Speaker 1: whole motto. And that's the motto, unfortunately, that still permeates
• 7:29
Speaker 1: on Wall Street. Epstein ran much of his criminal activities
• 7:34
Speaker 1: out of Little St. James Island, a private island he
• 7:37
Speaker 1: owned off the coast of the St. James Islands. The
• 7:40
Speaker 1: government alleged that J.P. Morgan had more than enough exposure
• 7:44
Speaker 1: to Epstein's accounts to determine he was conducting criminal behavior
• 7:48
Speaker 1: in their territory. Staley was not named in the lawsuit
• 7:51
Speaker 1: from the U.S. Virgin Islands. What I will say about this, though,
• 7:55
Speaker 1: is the U.S. Virgin Islands has some nerve. This was
• 7:58
Speaker 1: happening in their territory, right under their noses, and their
• 8:01
Speaker 1: officials were getting their palms greased, and they have the
• 8:05
Speaker 1: audacity to sue somebody else? Have they arrested anybody in
• 8:08
Speaker 1: the U.S. Virgin Islands for corruption or for being involved
• 8:11
Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein? The answer, obviously, is no. So they
• 8:16
Speaker 1: have a lot of audacity here to try and pitch
• 8:18
Speaker 1: this like it was happening under J.P. Morgan's nose. but
• 8:22
Speaker 1: they had no idea what was going on in the
• 8:24
Speaker 1: government in the Virgin Islands. Seems a bit laughable, right?
• 8:28
Speaker 1: And I don't know how a jury is going to
• 8:30
Speaker 1: look at that if it gets to that point, but
• 8:32
Speaker 1: I'll tell you this much. Watching Jeff Staley get aired
• 8:35
Speaker 1: out is worth it to me. Staley was not named
• 8:39
Speaker 1: in the lawsuit from the U.S. Virgin Islands. J.P. Morgan
• 8:42
Speaker 1: denied the allegations and moved for a criminal dismissal of
• 8:45
Speaker 1: the case. In its lawsuit, the bank said Staley should
• 8:49
Speaker 1: cover all of their damages. if they lose their case
• 8:52
Speaker 1: against the U.S. Virgin Islands, accusing him of intentional and
• 8:56
Speaker 1: outrageous conduct and hiding information about Epstein. Oh, cry me
• 9:00
Speaker 1: a river, J.P. Morgan. The biggest bank in the world,
• 9:04
Speaker 1: and you don't have the proper means to do your
• 9:06
Speaker 1: due diligence on what Jeff Staley was up to while
• 9:09
Speaker 1: he was an employee at your company? You really think
• 9:12
Speaker 1: we're going to buy that? Now, if this was some
• 9:14
Speaker 1: podunk little company, all right, fine, I get it. You
• 9:17
Speaker 1: don't have the resources. This is J.P. Morgan we're talking about.
• 9:21
Speaker 1: the biggest bank in the world. The bank also said
• 9:24
Speaker 1: Staley put his and Epstein's interests before the bank's. The
• 9:29
Speaker 1: lawsuit also demands Staley pay back the wages he was
• 9:32
Speaker 1: paid from 2006 to 2012, which could amount to tens
• 9:37
Speaker 1: of millions of dollars, according to Reuters. Good luck with that.
• 9:40
Speaker 1: They're not going to get that money back. Zero chance.
• 9:43
Speaker 1: While a high-ranking J.P. Morgan executive, Staley famously visited Epstein
• 9:48
Speaker 1: in prison... after his conviction for prostitution in 2008. Just
• 9:52
Speaker 1: to be clear, little girls can't be prostitutes, and that's
• 9:55
Speaker 1: what Jeffrey Epstein solicited. A little girl. The bank has denied...
• 9:59
Speaker 1: Staley actually went to the prison, saying instead Epstein visited
• 10:03
Speaker 1: Staley at his office during a work release for his
• 10:06
Speaker 1: 18-month prison sentence. Oh, that's so much better. Let's have
• 10:09
Speaker 1: a convicted sex offender come to the offices of J.P. Morgan.
• 10:14
Speaker 1: After the full extent of Epstein's crimes became known in 2019,
• 10:18
Speaker 1: Staley initially claimed he and Epstein were little more than
• 10:22
Speaker 1: acquaintances tied by business. Later, he admitted to having a
• 10:26
Speaker 1: close professional relationship that he established while running J.P. Morgan
• 10:30
Speaker 1: Private Bank and Asset Management Division from 2000 to 2009.
• 10:33
Speaker 1: Staley became the CEO of Barclays in 2015, but in
• 10:35
Speaker 1: 2021 stepped down amidst a probe into whether he had
• 10:45
Speaker 1: concealed the extent of his relationship with Epstein. And he
• 10:49
Speaker 1: most certainly did. Is there any doubt about that? I mean,
• 10:52
Speaker 1: I feel like I've been talking about Jeff Staley for
• 10:54
Speaker 1: years now. So I'm glad that people are finally catching
• 10:58
Speaker 1: on and realizing that the financial sector played a gigantic
• 11:01
Speaker 1: role here. In its suit against Staley, J.P. Morgan accused
• 11:07
Speaker 1: him of being the unnamed man implicated in an assault
• 11:10
Speaker 1: case from a Jane Doe against Epstein. which said one
• 11:13
Speaker 1: of Epstein's friends used aggressive force in his sexual assault
• 11:17
Speaker 1: of her and informed Jane Doe 1 that he had
• 11:20
Speaker 1: Epstein's permission to do what he wanted to her. JP
• 11:23
Speaker 1: Morgan alleged that friend was Staley, according to Reuters. So
• 11:27
Speaker 1: imagine that. He's getting thrown under the bus by JP
• 11:30
Speaker 1: Morgan here in an epic fashion. We have never heard
• 11:35
Speaker 1: that Jeff Staley was an abuser before. We had only
• 11:38
Speaker 1: heard that he was an enabler. Well, now that conversation
• 11:41
Speaker 1: has to change, right? And Jess Staley, it's looking like anyway,
• 11:45
Speaker 1: is going to have to be moved from the rung
• 11:48
Speaker 1: of just an enabler to somebody that was actually involved
• 11:51
Speaker 1: in abusing girls. Upon information and belief, Staley is this
• 11:56
Speaker 1: person who she described as a powerful financial executive she
• 12:00
Speaker 1: had historically been afraid to identify. J.P. Morgan's complaint read,
• 12:05
Speaker 1: There's no doubt that the walls are closing in on
• 12:08
Speaker 1: Jess Staley. The question is just how far those walls,
• 12:13
Speaker 1: are going to compress. Alright folks, that's going to do
• 12:16
Speaker 1: it for this one. All of the information that goes
• 12:19
Speaker 1: with the episode can be found in the description box.
• 12:23
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
• 12:28
Speaker 1: Today we're going to talk about two articles. The first
• 12:31
Speaker 1: one from NBC News dealing with Jeff Staley and the
• 12:35
Speaker 1: second one from Fox Business dealing with Paul Barrett. Another
• 12:41
Speaker 1: executive at J.P. Morgan who is meeting up with Jeffrey
• 12:44
Speaker 1: Epstein after Epstein was already a sex offender. So let's
• 12:49
Speaker 1: start with Jeff Staley and the article from NBC News. Headline,
• 12:55
Speaker 1: former J.P. Morgan exec says bank is using him as
• 12:58
Speaker 1: a PR shield in the Epstein case. The bank sued
• 13:02
Speaker 1: Jeff Staley in March saying he should be held liable
• 13:05
Speaker 1: for for any financial penalties it faces from lawsuits alleging
• 13:10
Speaker 1: it facilitated Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking enterprise. Imagine trying to
• 13:15
Speaker 1: pin it all on Jeff Staley. That shit is laughable
• 13:18
Speaker 1: at best. And as you all know, I'm certainly not
• 13:21
Speaker 1: an advocate for Jeff Staley. But this dude... didn't act
• 13:24
Speaker 1: in a vacuum on his own. He wasn't sitting around
• 13:27
Speaker 1: in the office at J.P. Morgan making all of these
• 13:30
Speaker 1: decisions all alone. Just like Alex Acosta didn't make that
• 13:35
Speaker 1: plea deal all on his own either. And anybody telling
• 13:38
Speaker 1: you that he did, they should have their heads examined.
• 13:41
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Chloe Atkins. A former JPMorgan
• 13:46
Speaker 1: Chase executive accused of having a profound friendship with Jeffrey
• 13:50
Speaker 1: Epstein has asked a federal judge to dismiss the bank's
• 13:54
Speaker 1: lawsuit against him over his ties with Epstein, a convicted
• 13:57
Speaker 1: sex offender. The bank sued Jeff Staley in March, saying
• 14:01
Speaker 1: he should be held liable for any financial penalties it
• 14:04
Speaker 1: faces from lawsuits alleging the bank facilitated Epstein's sex trafficking enterprise.
• 14:11
Speaker 1: Guess what? They should both be held liable. and the
• 14:14
Speaker 1: whole strategy here of trying to blame one another, it's
• 14:17
Speaker 1: pretty laughable, because everybody who's been following along knows that
• 14:21
Speaker 1: both sides here, Jess Daly and J.P. Morgan, have plenty
• 14:25
Speaker 1: of blame to shoulder between the two of them. The suits,
• 14:29
Speaker 1: which were brought by the U.S. Virgin Islands and a
• 14:31
Speaker 1: woman identified as Jane Doe No. 1, claim the financial
• 14:35
Speaker 1: institution turned a blind eye towards Epstein's conduct, adding that
• 14:39
Speaker 1: it didn't comply with federal laws for years while providing
• 14:43
Speaker 1: services to him and benefiting from Epstein's business. All facts.
• 14:49
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and his pals over at JP Morgan, you
• 14:52
Speaker 1: really think they were going through all of the proper
• 14:55
Speaker 1: channels and the proper steps? You think that they were
• 14:58
Speaker 1: in compliance with Title 31? Because we know that they weren't.
• 15:02
Speaker 1: We know that Darren Indyke was structuring the money he
• 15:06
Speaker 1: was taking out of the bank. taking it out in
• 15:09
Speaker 1: amounts that wouldn't trigger Title 31 notifications. And that's called structuring.
• 15:15
Speaker 1: So say you go to the bank and you want
• 15:17
Speaker 1: to take out 14 grand. And instead of having the
• 15:21
Speaker 1: Title 31 kick in, what you do is you take
• 15:24
Speaker 1: it out in smaller increments, 7,500, 9,300, whatever. But the
• 15:29
Speaker 1: idea is at the bank, they're supposed to catch that.
• 15:32
Speaker 1: When you're structuring your withdrawals or your deposits or whatever,
• 15:36
Speaker 1: they're supposed to catch that. And when they catch it,
• 15:39
Speaker 1: they're supposed to send a SAR, meaning a Suspicious Activity Report,
• 15:43
Speaker 1: over to FinCEN and it should be registered and filed.
• 15:47
Speaker 1: And none of that was happening here. Nobody was flagging
• 15:50
Speaker 1: the deals that Epstein was making. Nobody was flagging the
• 15:53
Speaker 1: transactions that were happening on a regular basis. It is
• 15:57
Speaker 1: alleged that human trafficking was the principal business of the
• 16:01
Speaker 1: accounts Epstein maintained at J.P. Morgan, according to the U.S.
• 16:05
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands Complaint. The two suits seek money damages. In
• 16:09
Speaker 1: court filings, Staley said the Wall Street giant is using
• 16:13
Speaker 1: him as a public relations shield in its legal battle
• 16:17
Speaker 1: over working with Epstein and trying to deflect blame from
• 16:20
Speaker 1: its failure. Look, you both failed. Jeff Staley, you failed
• 16:25
Speaker 1: as a human being for even associating with this guy
• 16:28
Speaker 1: and advocating for him at J.P. Morgan. And of course, J.P.
• 16:32
Speaker 1: Morgan failed on many fronts as well. You're the ones
• 16:36
Speaker 1: who accepted him as a client at the end of
• 16:38
Speaker 1: the day. It wasn't just daily. It was you. So
• 16:42
Speaker 1: you hired just daily. And in that capacity, he was
• 16:45
Speaker 1: working as a representative of JP Morgan. It's pretty cut
• 16:49
Speaker 1: and dry. Staley, according to court documents, said he didn't
• 16:53
Speaker 1: have any decision making authority over Epstein's accounts, adding that
• 16:57
Speaker 1: the bank has failed to state viable claims against him.
• 17:01
Speaker 1: And look, I don't really disagree with Staley here. I
• 17:04
Speaker 1: highly doubt that he was the guy that could just
• 17:07
Speaker 1: make everything happen and nobody else in the company could
• 17:10
Speaker 1: have stepped in. That's a bunch of bullshit. Sorry, I
• 17:12
Speaker 1: don't buy it. That's not how these big institutions work.
• 17:17
Speaker 1: Whether or not JP Morgan is liable to Doe and
• 17:20
Speaker 1: the USVI remains to be seen. What is certain is
• 17:24
Speaker 1: that the bank cannot treat Mr. Staley as its public
• 17:27
Speaker 1: relations shield by asserting claims that lack any legal or
• 17:31
Speaker 1: factual basis, court documents state. Staley called on the court
• 17:36
Speaker 1: to dismiss the suit because the bank waited over 10
• 17:38
Speaker 1: years to file these claims and it falls outside the
• 17:42
Speaker 1: statute of limitations. After all, numerous JPMorgan employees knew that Mr.
• 17:48
Speaker 1: Staley had a relationship with Epstein and the bank had
• 17:51
Speaker 1: access to Mr. Staley's communications from his tenure that JPMorgan
• 17:56
Speaker 1: now alleges reflect that relationship. court documents allege. And look again,
• 18:01
Speaker 1: he is not wrong. The people at JPMorgan have some
• 18:06
Speaker 1: nerve trying to pitch this narrative. I mean, nobody's buying it.
• 18:09
Speaker 1: Anybody who followed this case, anybody who knows what's going on,
• 18:13
Speaker 1: knows for a fact that JPMorgan was involved here all
• 18:17
Speaker 1: the way up to their eyeballs. JPMorgan Chase's bank did
• 18:20
Speaker 1: not immediately respond to a request for comment. Epstein was
• 18:24
Speaker 1: convicted in 2008. of procuring a child for prostitution and
• 18:29
Speaker 1: died by suicide, allegedly, in 2019 at a Manhattan correctional
• 18:34
Speaker 1: center where he was being held on federal sex trafficking charges.
• 18:39
Speaker 1: Staley spent more than 30 years with JPMorgan Chase and
• 18:43
Speaker 1: later went on to work at Barclays. He stepped down
• 18:46
Speaker 1: as Barclays CEO in 2021 after an investigation into his
• 18:51
Speaker 1: relationship with Epstein. Yeah, an investigation that showed us nothing. oh,
• 18:56
Speaker 1: we did our internal investigation and, you know, we found
• 18:59
Speaker 1: a couple of things, but we're going to continue to
• 19:02
Speaker 1: back Staley anyway because, you know, profits over people and all.
• 19:07
Speaker 1: In February, unredacted parts of the lawsuit brought by the U.S.
• 19:10
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands, where Epstein had a home, show that Staley
• 19:14
Speaker 1: and Epstein exchanged an estimated 1,200 emails from 2008 to 2012.
• 19:17
Speaker 1: These communications show a close personal relationship and profound friendship
• 19:27
Speaker 1: between the two men, and even suggest that Staley may
• 19:31
Speaker 1: have been involved in Epstein's sex trafficking operation, the U.S.
• 19:35
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands said in court documents in February. And now
• 19:39
Speaker 1: we're not talking about some journalist saying this, or some blogger,
• 19:43
Speaker 1: or some Yahoo on Twitter. This is what's being alleged
• 19:46
Speaker 1: in court documents. So this is serious stuff. The only
• 19:50
Speaker 1: problem is this isn't salacious enough for all of the
• 19:53
Speaker 1: grifters that populate the world and the universe of Epstein.
• 19:58
Speaker 1: It has to be a lot more salacious for them.
• 20:00
Speaker 1: You know, politicians that they hate, shit like that. The
• 20:03
Speaker 1: financial sector shrug their shoulders and keep it moving because
• 20:06
Speaker 1: it's not that interesting. Meanwhile, the financial sector is behind
• 20:10
Speaker 1: all of this madness, behind all of this disgusting behavior.
• 20:15
Speaker 1: They're the ones propping it up. They're the ones enabling it.
• 20:18
Speaker 1: And they're the ones making it financially feasible for all
• 20:21
Speaker 1: of this to occur. So it always makes me shake
• 20:24
Speaker 1: my head when people ignore the financial aspect of this.
• 20:29
Speaker 1: In one instance, Staley emailed Epstein in July of 2010.
• 20:33
Speaker 1: Maybe they're tracking you. That was fun. Say hi to
• 20:35
Speaker 1: Snow White. Epstein responded by asking, what character would you
• 20:40
Speaker 1: like next? Which Staley followed up with Beauty and the Beast.
• 20:44
Speaker 1: Epstein then replied, well, one side is available. When JPMorgan
• 20:49
Speaker 1: Chase Bank sued Staley in March, it said he was
• 20:52
Speaker 1: the powerful financial executive who sexually assaulted Jane Doe number one.
• 20:57
Speaker 1: The unnamed woman alleged in her suit against the bank
• 21:01
Speaker 1: that one of Epstein's friends used aggressive force in his
• 21:04
Speaker 1: sexual assault of her and informed Jane Doe one that
• 21:08
Speaker 1: he had Epstein's permission to do what he wanted to her,
• 21:11
Speaker 1: but hadn't named the executive out of fear. Staley called
• 21:15
Speaker 1: the accusations baseless in court filings this week. Oh yeah,
• 21:19
Speaker 1: real baseless, Jeff Staley. And it's always comical when these
• 21:23
Speaker 1: roaches get nailed. Whenever they're exposed for their relationship with
• 21:27
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, watch them scurry away real quick and try
• 21:30
Speaker 1: and blame one another. It's never their fault. Nobody ever
• 21:33
Speaker 1: takes self-responsibility for their bullshitting around. It's always the next guy. Oh,
• 21:38
Speaker 1: it was J.P. Morgan's fault as a whole. Oh, no,
• 21:40
Speaker 1: it was Jeff Staley's fault. Breaking news. It was all
• 21:43
Speaker 1: of your fault. All right, so on to the next
• 21:47
Speaker 1: article from Fox Business. Headline, City executive who met with
• 21:52
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein is out of a job. City group senior
• 21:55
Speaker 1: executive reportedly maintained Epstein connection while working with rival J.P. Morgan.
• 22:01
Speaker 1: Of course he did. All of these guys were getting
• 22:04
Speaker 1: fat at the table of Jeffrey Epstein. They were all
• 22:07
Speaker 1: benefiting one way or the other. And chances are a
• 22:11
Speaker 1: lot of that money is of the dark variety, the
• 22:13
Speaker 1: kind that can't be traced. Who knows how to hide
• 22:15
Speaker 1: money better than the financial sector? Then all you have
• 22:18
Speaker 1: to do is look at all of Epstein's behavior offshore
• 22:22
Speaker 1: with all of the offshore banks, all of the other bullshit,
• 22:25
Speaker 1: and it all becomes crystal clear what was going on here.
• 22:29
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Timothy Narazi. A Citigroup senior
• 22:34
Speaker 1: executive has been let go just days after reports surfaced
• 22:39
Speaker 1: that he previously met with disgraced financier, pedophile, and sex
• 22:43
Speaker 1: criminal Jeffrey Epstein. You know, I'm really shocked, folks, that
• 22:47
Speaker 1: another person in the financial sector was palling around, chumming
• 22:51
Speaker 1: around with Jeffrey Epstein and his stupid jerk-off face. Citigroup
• 22:55
Speaker 1: dismissed Paul Barrett after learning the senior executive met with
• 22:58
Speaker 1: Epstein while working for rival bank JP Morgan, according to
• 23:02
Speaker 1: a report from the Wall Street Journal. Citigroup's like, look,
• 23:06
Speaker 1: we have enough problems. The last thing we need is
• 23:09
Speaker 1: some of Epstein's stink permeating on us. So we're just
• 23:12
Speaker 1: going to get rid of this dude and keep it moving.
• 23:14
Speaker 1: How much is your golden parachute? Here it is, buddy.
• 23:17
Speaker 1: Have a great life. Until recently, Citi was unaware of
• 23:21
Speaker 1: Paul Barrett's association with Jeffrey Epstein, which predated his employment
• 23:26
Speaker 1: at our firm. The bank told the Financial Times, Mr.
• 23:29
Speaker 1: Barrett is no longer employed by Citi. Well, good job
• 23:33
Speaker 1: on Citi's part. Get rid of all of these scumbags
• 23:36
Speaker 1: that hung out with Epstein at all. That's it. All
• 23:39
Speaker 1: of them are gone. Do you really want to do
• 23:41
Speaker 1: business with anybody who was cavorting with this scumbag? I
• 23:45
Speaker 1: certainly don't. Barrett met with Epstein at least five times
• 23:49
Speaker 1: between 2014 and 2017 while working at JPMorgan, according to
• 23:55
Speaker 1: the Wall Street Journal. Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to
• 24:00
Speaker 1: soliciting a prostitute and soliciting prostitution from a minor. JPMorgan
• 24:05
Speaker 1: Chase has come under intense fire after it was discovered.
• 24:10
Speaker 1: The multinational bank continued to collaborate with Epstein after his
• 24:15
Speaker 1: first sex crime conviction. JPMorgan Chase boss Jamie Dimon will
• 24:19
Speaker 1: be deposed under oath in connection with the bank's relationship
• 24:23
Speaker 1: with Epstein, a lawyer involved in the case said. Reuters
• 24:27
Speaker 1: reports the interview is expected to happen in early May,
• 24:31
Speaker 1: according to Brad Edwards, a lawyer representing a woman whose
• 24:35
Speaker 1: claim to have been sexually abused by Epstein. The women
• 24:39
Speaker 1: are suing the largest U.S. bank for allegedly enabling the
• 24:43
Speaker 1: financiers sex trafficking. You mean the pedophiles. JP Morgan has
• 24:48
Speaker 1: tried to dismiss the lawsuit, noting the Virgin Islands government
• 24:52
Speaker 1: has already settled with Epstein's estate for more than $ 100 million.
• 24:57
Speaker 1: Epstein allegedly killed himself in a Manhattan jail cell in
• 25:01
Speaker 1: August 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking. Alright, so
• 25:06
Speaker 1: there is our quick update. on the financial sector scumbags
• 25:10
Speaker 1: who are now facing the music, hopefully, for their relationship
• 25:13
Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein. And if you don't think the list
• 25:16
Speaker 1: is going to grow, well, I don't know what to
• 25:18
Speaker 1: tell you because it's going to. There are so many
• 25:21
Speaker 1: people in the financial sector and in the areas around
• 25:25
Speaker 1: it that were helping Epstein, enabling Epstein, and working with Epstein, oh,
• 25:29
Speaker 1: and enriching themselves off of Epstein, that if we had
• 25:33
Speaker 1: a serious Department of Justice, and this turned into RICO
• 25:36
Speaker 1: like it should have, all of these people would have
• 25:38
Speaker 1: been caught up. And all of them would have not
• 25:41
Speaker 1: been facing just embarrassment or a civil suit. They'd all
• 25:45
Speaker 1: be facing criminal charges. But we all know that the
• 25:48
Speaker 1: Department of Justice... isn't a serious organization at this point,
• 25:52
Speaker 1: so we're left with this. All right, folks, that's going
• 25:55
Speaker 1: to do it for this one. All of the information
• 25:58
Speaker 1: that goes with the episode can be found in the
• 26:01
Speaker 1: description box. What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the
• 26:05
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. One of the more ridiculous claims in the
• 26:10
Speaker 1: new legal filings by Prince Andrew is him actually trying
• 26:14
Speaker 1: to tell us that him and Ghislaine Maxwell weren't homies.
• 26:19
Speaker 1: It is one of the most absurd claims I've heard
• 26:22
Speaker 1: in quite some time, and folks, we've heard them all
• 26:25
Speaker 1: since we've been following this case. But Prince Andrew is
• 26:29
Speaker 1: adamant in these court filings that him and Ghislaine Maxwell,
• 26:33
Speaker 1: you know, they were just casual friends. You know, pass
• 26:36
Speaker 1: you by in the bar, give you a nod of
• 26:37
Speaker 1: the head as you're going to get a pint, and
• 26:39
Speaker 1: keep it moving type friends, I guess. Meanwhile, the facts
• 26:43
Speaker 1: tell a completely different story. Tonight, we're going to talk
• 26:46
Speaker 1: about an article from The Mirror. that points to nine
• 26:50
Speaker 1: different times Ghislaine Maxwell and Prince Andrew were looking pretty chummy.
• 26:55
Speaker 1: But we're also going to discuss an article from the
• 26:58
Speaker 1: New York Post about Jess Staley before we even dive
• 27:02
Speaker 1: in about Prince Andrew and his cozy relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell. Now,
• 27:09
Speaker 1: Jess Staley is, well, I guess I should say was,
• 27:14
Speaker 1: one of the most powerful men in the financial world.
• 27:17
Speaker 1: This dude was... the gatekeeper over at JP Morgan for
• 27:22
Speaker 1: a very, very long time. He ran the investment banking
• 27:26
Speaker 1: division over at JP Morgan. And that is where all
• 27:30
Speaker 1: of the big shots come, you know, to do their
• 27:33
Speaker 1: wheeling and dealing with their money. They come in and,
• 27:36
Speaker 1: you know, these guys manage the money for them, make transactions,
• 27:40
Speaker 1: whatever it may be. This is what the division is
• 27:43
Speaker 1: there for. And Jess Staley was the guy who was
• 27:47
Speaker 1: the big shot over there. Mr. Head Honcho. Mr. Dude
• 27:50
Speaker 1: in Charge. And him and Jeffrey Epstein were really close.
• 27:55
Speaker 1: Another one of those relationships that doesn't get the kind
• 27:58
Speaker 1: of spotlight that it deserves. And it certainly does deserve
• 28:02
Speaker 1: a whole lot of spotlight. Just like the situation with
• 28:05
Speaker 1: Leon Black. When you have somebody like Jeffrey Epstein. And
• 28:08
Speaker 1: he has access to movers and shakers like this in
• 28:11
Speaker 1: the financial world. What are we supposed to think when
• 28:16
Speaker 1: these people are lobbying for them, when these people are
• 28:18
Speaker 1: giving them $ 158 million for, I'm using air quotes right now, folks, advice?
• 28:24
Speaker 1: What are we supposed to think? That it's all on
• 28:27
Speaker 1: the up and up? That these guys are just, you know,
• 28:30
Speaker 1: chums and they're hanging out, having a chat like the
• 28:32
Speaker 1: rest of us over, you know, crispy taco night? Nobody's
• 28:37
Speaker 1: buying it. Nobody believes that BS. And I'm not going
• 28:40
Speaker 1: to sit here and tell you that, you know, there's
• 28:42
Speaker 1: a room full of six people who are sitting around,
• 28:45
Speaker 1: you know, controlling the world or anything like that. I'll
• 28:48
Speaker 1: leave that to other people. That's out of my lane.
• 28:51
Speaker 1: But what I will tell you is this. People like
• 28:53
Speaker 1: Jess Staley, people like Leon Black, those people really hold
• 28:58
Speaker 1: the keys. If you're in control of the financial world,
• 29:01
Speaker 1: if you're in control of the way, you know, the
• 29:05
Speaker 1: money is moving through the banking system, That would give
• 29:09
Speaker 1: you a lot of power, wouldn't it? And when you
• 29:11
Speaker 1: have some of the biggest people in the world in
• 29:16
Speaker 1: this industry hanging out with Epstein and facilitating his financial malfeasance,
• 29:23
Speaker 1: what are we supposed to say? Are we just supposed
• 29:25
Speaker 1: to just say, forget it, turn our heads and say, ah,
• 29:27
Speaker 1: no big deal. Usually that's what we would do, right?
• 29:30
Speaker 1: If it was just the usual stealing and evading taxes
• 29:33
Speaker 1: and all of that jazz, shrug our shoulders and move on.
• 29:36
Speaker 1: We have bigger problems, all of us. Got to feed
• 29:39
Speaker 1: our family. and we got to continue to pay the
• 29:41
Speaker 1: poor people's tax, right? But they messed up. They really
• 29:45
Speaker 1: messed up when they thought that they were going to
• 29:47
Speaker 1: get over on us with this one. When they thought
• 29:49
Speaker 1: that the Jeffrey Epstein stuff was just going to blow
• 29:51
Speaker 1: over and everybody was going to forget about it. That's
• 29:55
Speaker 1: not the case. Nobody's forgetting about it. People want answers
• 29:59
Speaker 1: and people like this who were connected to Epstein, who
• 30:03
Speaker 1: were lobbying for him at a huge firm like JP
• 30:08
Speaker 1: Morgan should be held to account. And I know he
• 30:10
Speaker 1: lost his job at Barclays, right? That's a good first step.
• 30:13
Speaker 1: But why haven't we had a real look into the
• 30:17
Speaker 1: financials here? You mean to tell me all of the
• 30:19
Speaker 1: financial transactions Epstein was moving through this bank were on
• 30:23
Speaker 1: the up and up? We already know that's not the case.
• 30:26
Speaker 1: We've already seen the fines... That these banks have got
• 30:29
Speaker 1: slapped with... For their malfeasance... For not respecting the FinCEN process...
• 30:36
Speaker 1: But none of these bankers... The men in charge... The
• 30:38
Speaker 1: women in charge... The people at the top... When do
• 30:41
Speaker 1: any of them get held accountable? Nobody goes to prison...
• 30:45
Speaker 1: None of these people ever go to prison... And that's because...
• 30:48
Speaker 1: They're the ones that are holding the bag... And we
• 30:52
Speaker 1: all know what happens... When a president gets elected in America... Inevitably,
• 30:57
Speaker 1: his whole entire cabinet, transition staff, all of it, is
• 31:00
Speaker 1: filled with people from the financial sector. And then you
• 31:03
Speaker 1: wonder why the wheel just continues to go round and round. Alright, so,
• 31:09
Speaker 1: we're going to talk about this article real quick from
• 31:11
Speaker 1: the New York Post. and Jess Staley. It's a relatively
• 31:15
Speaker 1: short article. That's why we're doing it at the top
• 31:17
Speaker 1: end here of this episode and not doing an episode
• 31:20
Speaker 1: for this article alone. I don't think there's any point
• 31:23
Speaker 1: in doing an 11-minute episode, so we'll just tack it
• 31:26
Speaker 1: on here, and then we'll add the other article right
• 31:29
Speaker 1: here to the back end. This article was authored by
• 31:34
Speaker 1: Lydia Moynihan, and it was posted in the New York Post. Headline,
• 31:41
Speaker 1: ousted Barclays CEO Jess Staley reportedly backed Epstein at JP Morgan.
• 31:47
Speaker 1: I mean, it's just crazy. JP Morgan's like this gigantic house,
• 31:51
Speaker 1: you know, big time financial institution. And this is the
• 31:56
Speaker 1: sort of stuff they're really getting up to. When all
• 31:59
Speaker 1: of the nonsense and, you know, the curtains are pulled
• 32:02
Speaker 1: back and you peel their face off when they're talking
• 32:05
Speaker 1: about how woke they are or whatever, really what they're
• 32:08
Speaker 1: doing is... They're trying to refocus all of our energy
• 32:12
Speaker 1: and all of our, oh, you know, rage, if you will,
• 32:16
Speaker 1: at each other as opposed to them. And they got
• 32:20
Speaker 1: a good glimpse of what was going on during Occupy
• 32:23
Speaker 1: Wall Street. And they understood that there was a groundswell
• 32:26
Speaker 1: coming against them. So they changed their tactics, meaning corporate America, right?
• 32:31
Speaker 1: And places like JP Morgan and these banking institutions. Let's
• 32:34
Speaker 1: put on a friendlier face. But just because they say
• 32:37
Speaker 1: that that's what they are, just because they say that they're,
• 32:40
Speaker 1: you know, hip to the times. We all know that
• 32:43
Speaker 1: BS walks, right? It's a lot of BS from these
• 32:48
Speaker 1: companies because when you look at the way they conduct business,
• 32:52
Speaker 1: it's the same old or even worse than usual. Recently
• 32:58
Speaker 1: ousted Barclays CEO, Jess Staley, went to bat for convicted
• 33:01
Speaker 1: sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein, when he ran the investment banking
• 33:05
Speaker 1: division at JP Morgan, according to a report. J.P. Morgan
• 33:09
Speaker 1: was examining whether to boot Epstein as a client because
• 33:12
Speaker 1: of his 13-month prison sentence tied to soliciting sex from
• 33:16
Speaker 1: a minor, meaning having sex with an underage girl, soliciting
• 33:19
Speaker 1: sex from a minor. What an absolutely ridiculous charge. An
• 33:23
Speaker 1: absolutely ridiculous charge. There's no such thing as soliciting sex
• 33:27
Speaker 1: from a minor. You're committing, you know, under a certain age,
• 33:33
Speaker 1: you're committing rape, statutory rape, at the very least. But Staley,
• 33:44
Speaker 1: who ran the Giants investment bank, argued that Epstein had
• 33:47
Speaker 1: paid his debt to society and should remain a client,
• 33:50
Speaker 1: according to the report Wednesday in the Financial Times. I mean, yeah,
• 33:53
Speaker 1: he really paid his debt to society, huh, folks? Had
• 33:56
Speaker 1: to check into the jail for a couple hours a day,
• 33:58
Speaker 1: was able to run around, still conduct business, go to
• 34:01
Speaker 1: his office, and according to some survivors, continue to abuse
• 34:04
Speaker 1: people while there was a sheriff on duty. But nah,
• 34:08
Speaker 1: nothing was amiss down there in Palm Beach either. I mean, really,
• 34:11
Speaker 1: he paid his debt to society, huh? There's not enough
• 34:15
Speaker 1: punishment on this planet for this dude to repay his
• 34:18
Speaker 1: debt to society. And forget that, his debt to these survivors.
• 34:25
Speaker 1: Staley's efforts came after Epstein was convicted in 2008, according
• 34:28
Speaker 1: to the FT. JP Morgan eventually severed its relationship with
• 34:33
Speaker 1: Epstein in 2013, the same year Staley departed the JPM
• 34:39
Speaker 1: for a new job at a hedge fund before rising
• 34:43
Speaker 1: to run Barclays in 2015. Now, I guess it's just
• 34:48
Speaker 1: another coincidence, right? That's what people want to, that's what
• 34:50
Speaker 1: they'll tell you. Oh, it's just another coincidence. Me? I
• 34:54
Speaker 1: don't know what to call it. Sure are a lot
• 34:57
Speaker 1: of coincidences in this case. Camera's not pointing at the
• 34:59
Speaker 1: jail cell. He happens to leave in 2013, right when
• 35:03
Speaker 1: the relationship with Epstein ends. You know, just a coincidence,
• 35:06
Speaker 1: I guess, folks. But really what's going on here is
• 35:09
Speaker 1: you see the correlation. The relationship with Epstein and Jess Staley,
• 35:15
Speaker 1: it was a tight one. And Staley was a huge,
• 35:18
Speaker 1: huge deal when it comes to making the money move.
• 35:22
Speaker 1: Staley's support for Epstein at J.P. Morgan underscores his longstanding
• 35:26
Speaker 1: ties to the disgraced financier, pedophile, and how he advocated
• 35:30
Speaker 1: on Epstein's behalf well before it resulted in Staley's exit
• 35:34
Speaker 1: from Barclays late last year. In November, reports surfaced that
• 35:38
Speaker 1: Staley and Epstein had exchanged around 1,200 emails during Staley's
• 35:42
Speaker 1: 30-year tenure at J.P. Morgan. Some emails revealed questionable and
• 35:47
Speaker 1: unexplained phrases like snow white, according to the FT. And
• 35:50
Speaker 1: we talked about this too, snow white. I mean, look,
• 35:54
Speaker 1: you can delve into a lot of different things when
• 35:57
Speaker 1: you're talking about code words and find yourself down a
• 36:00
Speaker 1: lot of rabbit holes. But they're obviously using some kind
• 36:04
Speaker 1: of code here, okay? Now, I'm not one of the
• 36:06
Speaker 1: wind talkers. I'm not going to sit here and tell you, oh, I've,
• 36:09
Speaker 1: I got my little decoder ring out of the Cheerio
• 36:11
Speaker 1: box and I figured it all out, but they're obviously
• 36:14
Speaker 1: up to something. Staley stepped down from Barclays in November
• 36:18
Speaker 1: after he reviewed initial findings from a probe by UK
• 36:21
Speaker 1: regulators into whether he had mischaracterized his relationship with Epstein
• 36:26
Speaker 1: as purely professional. According to the FT, Staley is contesting
• 36:30
Speaker 1: the findings. JP Morgan declined to comment to the FT,
• 36:35
Speaker 1: a spokesman for Staley said, also declined to comment. Shocking, right?
• 36:39
Speaker 1: And they'll get away with it. Nobody will hound these people.
• 36:41
Speaker 1: No way. They're too busy covering the Stormy Daniels case.
• 36:46
Speaker 1: Staley has stated his relationship with Epstein fizzled following the
• 36:50
Speaker 1: banker's departure from J.P. Morgan. And that's an ongoing theme too, right? Oh,
• 36:54
Speaker 1: our relationship fizzled. Our relationship ended. Shocking. But even after
• 37:00
Speaker 1: he left the bank, helmed by Jamie Dimon, he visited
• 37:03
Speaker 1: Epstein at his private island in the Caribbean, Little St. James,
• 37:06
Speaker 1: according to reports. And, you know, Jamie Dimon will never
• 37:09
Speaker 1: get called on the carpet for this either. Never. He's,
• 37:12
Speaker 1: you know, one of the golden boys for all of
• 37:15
Speaker 1: the political class. Remember, folks who's holding the bag here,
• 37:18
  Speaker 1: it ain't you. What, you think your $ 100, $ 200 donation
• 37:21
Speaker 1: to insert politician here is moving the needle? They're not
• 37:25
Speaker 1: accepting your call when you call their office, are they?
• 37:27
Speaker 1: You're getting a staffer. You think Jamie Dimon gets a
• 37:31
Speaker 1: staffer if he calls the office of whatever politician he's
• 37:34
Speaker 1: looking to talk to? Staley worked at Blue Mountain Capital
• 37:38
Speaker 1: from 2013 to 2015 before nabbing the top job at
• 37:43
Speaker 1: Barclays in 2015. Meanwhile, Epstein began working with Deutsche Bank
• 37:49
Speaker 1: in 2013, according to the FT, after being cut off
• 37:52
Speaker 1: by JP Morgan following Staley's departure from JP Morgan. Epstein
• 37:57
Speaker 1: died in 2019 in prison. As he awaited trial on charges,
• 38:02
Speaker 1: he sex trafficked minors. Now, Deutsche Bank is just a
• 38:06
Speaker 1: den of scum and villainy. And they've been slapped with
• 38:09
Speaker 1: so many fines that it's not even funny. And now
• 38:12
Speaker 1: my question is, how many people have they hit with
• 38:14
Speaker 1: the poor people tax? And what I mean by the
• 38:17
Speaker 1: poor people tax is the inflated rates of borrowing, the
• 38:23
Speaker 1: finance rates. How many people have they absolutely hammered with
• 38:27
  Speaker 1: a 20% rate on a car for a piece of
• 38:29
Speaker 1: garbage car that's hardly going to last? These people are
• 38:34
Speaker 1: just gross, honestly. At this level, when we're talking about
• 38:38
Speaker 1: this level of banker and the way they conduct themselves,
• 38:40
Speaker 1: you think they care about the survivors or that Jeffrey
• 38:43
Speaker 1: Epstein was a convicted sex offender? No way. He brought
• 38:48
Speaker 1: more money to their pockets, more prestige, opened some more doors,
• 38:51
Speaker 1: had some more relationships built for them. And like I
• 38:55
Speaker 1: always say, with people like this, the means always justifies
• 38:59
Speaker 1: the ends. And to the rest of us, we look
• 39:02
Speaker 1: around and we just shake our heads like, really? One's
• 39:04
Speaker 1: enough enough. Don't you people have enough money? Don't you
• 39:06
Speaker 1: have enough power? But for them, the answer is always no. Now,
• 39:11
Speaker 1: Jess Daly is somebody I've been talking about for a
• 39:14
Speaker 1: long time. And before the pandemic, I said that he
• 39:17
Speaker 1: was in big trouble back then. And it took a
• 39:20
Speaker 1: little while, obviously. Barclays was trying to right the ship,
• 39:25
Speaker 1: if you will, during the pandemic and didn't want to
• 39:27
Speaker 1: upset the apple cart. But the writing was on the wall.
• 39:31
Speaker 1: And it's no shock to me that he's out, especially
• 39:33
Speaker 1: considering we know how much deeper his relationship with Epstein
• 39:37
Speaker 1: went than they even let on. So that's where we're
• 39:40
Speaker 1: at with Jeff Staley and the situation he finds himself
• 39:44
Speaker 1: in currently. Now, on to our next article from The Mirror.
• 39:50
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Alana Kindred. Headline, nine times
• 39:55
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell look like good pals as
• 39:59
Speaker 1: he denies closeness. Now, we talked about this a little
• 40:03
Speaker 1: bit earlier. What a ridiculous claim. How are you going
• 40:05
Speaker 1: to say to anybody that you and Ghislaine Maxwell weren't close?
• 40:09
Speaker 1: It's so ridiculous that his lawyers would even add this.
• 40:13
Speaker 1: I just don't even know what to say about it, honestly.
• 40:16
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew is strongly denied he was close friends with
• 40:21
Speaker 1: now convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. At least they got
• 40:24
Speaker 1: it right and called her a convicted sex trafficker here.
• 40:26
Speaker 1: That's a good start. The Duke of York's reported attempt
• 40:30
Speaker 1: to distance himself from Maxwell comes as he has demanded
• 40:33
Speaker 1: a trial by combat, I mean a trial by jury,
• 40:35
Speaker 1: denying to a New York court a catalog of sex
• 40:38
Speaker 1: abuse allegations brought by his accuser, Virginia Roberts. So, obviously,
• 40:45
Speaker 1: that was the first salvo for him answering these accusations
• 40:49
Speaker 1: and giving us this ridiculousness that we're talking about still tonight.
• 40:54
Speaker 1: On December 29th, Maxwell, 60, was found guilty of offenses
• 40:58
Speaker 1: relating to her work as a fixer for the Duke's associate,
• 41:01
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted pedophile and billionaire. She faces up
• 41:05
Speaker 1: to 65 years in prison. So, couple things. Duke's associate,
• 41:09
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein? They were both the Duke's associates, okay? And
• 41:14
Speaker 1: I would say that he was probably closer to Ghislaine
• 41:16
Speaker 1: Maxwell than he was to Epstein, even. Let's remember, Ghislaine
• 41:19
Speaker 1: Maxwell was the gatekeeper to the... Miss Roberts claims that
• 41:26
Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell made her have sex with the Duke
• 41:28
Speaker 1: three times when she was 17, including once in London.
• 41:32
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew has always strongly denied the allegations. But up
• 41:36
Speaker 1: until now, it was a very generic version of denial, right? Well,
• 41:40
Speaker 1: he dropped his formal denial, and I guess you can
• 41:43
Speaker 1: see why he kept it generic for so long. Because
• 41:46
Speaker 1: he has nothing to go on. In an 11-page response
• 41:50
Speaker 1: to Ms. Roberts' lawsuit yesterday, Andrew denied wrongdoing, but he
• 41:54
Speaker 1: did say in this document that he met Epstein in
• 41:57
Speaker 1: or around 1999. The Prince refuted her major claims while
• 42:02
Speaker 1: admitting to befriending Epstein, but denied he was ever a
• 42:07
Speaker 1: close pal of British socialite Maxwell. trafficker Maxwell you mean
• 42:11
Speaker 1: and again absolutely ridiculous ludicrous moronic stupid gaslighting whatever you
• 42:18
Speaker 1: want to call it it's all of that because we
• 42:21
Speaker 1: know it's not the case we've seen the pictures the
• 42:24
Speaker 1: Duke 61 said it was not true And it was
• 42:29
Speaker 1: not true that he was a frequent guest of Epstein's
• 42:31
Speaker 1: various homes around the world, including New York City, where
• 42:34
Speaker 1: he sexually abused Virginia Roberts at Epstein and Maxwell's invitation
• 42:39
Speaker 1: when she was a minor. Andrew's strenuous denials of not
• 42:43
Speaker 1: being close with Maxwell comes years after the pair have
• 42:46
Speaker 1: been photographed together on multiple occasions around the world. I mean, yeah,
• 42:51
Speaker 1: around the world? Everywhere you can imagine these two have
• 42:54
Speaker 1: been photographed together. They had a long history together, folks.
• 42:58
Speaker 1: And you don't have access to the palace the way
• 43:00
Speaker 1: she did or to the property the way she did
• 43:03
Speaker 1: if you're not close to somebody. Epstein and Maxwell at Balmoral.
• 43:11
Speaker 1: The photo of Epstein and Maxwell sitting in the Queen's
• 43:13
Speaker 1: log cabin in Glenbeg, Balmoral was taken in the late
• 43:17
Speaker 1: summer or early autumn of 1999. So there's one for you.
• 43:21
Speaker 1: You know, you got the picture of these two at Balmoral.
• 43:24
Speaker 1: Certainly not a good look for them. The next instance, Andrew, Maxwell,
• 43:31
Speaker 1: Donald Trump, and Epstein in Mar-a-Lago. February 2000, Andrew was
• 43:35
Speaker 1: photographed with Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump. In
• 43:38
Speaker 1: the background, you see Epstein looking directly at the camera
• 43:41
Speaker 1: and Maxwell's face is seen peering into the frame on
• 43:44
Speaker 1: the right-hand side. I mean, we all know that these
• 43:46
Speaker 1: people were all palling around together. It's not even a
• 43:50
Speaker 1: debate at this point. Now, we don't know exactly... the
• 43:56
Speaker 1: specific roles of every single person involved but we do
• 44:00
Speaker 1: know anyone that was hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein knew
• 44:04
Speaker 1: what he was about knew that he was not a
• 44:07
Speaker 1: normal guy and if you were hanging out with him
• 44:09
Speaker 1: after the first conviction you knew he was a convicted
• 44:11
Speaker 1: sex offender Andrew and Maxwell at Ascot Prince Andrew and
• 44:16
Speaker 1: Maxwell attended the Royal Ascot in June 2000 they were
• 44:19
Speaker 1: photographed with Epstein another one of the Duke's former girlfriends
• 44:22
Speaker 1: Carolyn Neville and her husband Edward Stanley Andrew and Maxwell
• 44:27
Speaker 1: leaving the wedding of a former girlfriend. September 2000, the
• 44:31
Speaker 1: Duke attended the wedding of his former girlfriend, Aurelia Cecile,
• 44:34
Speaker 1: with Maxwell. The pair arrived together, but walked in separately,
• 44:38
Speaker 1: according to reports at the time. I mean, look, all
• 44:41
Speaker 1: of these different examples are just more evidence of the
• 44:46
Speaker 1: BS he was trying to run on us. The next one,
• 44:50
Speaker 1: Andrew and Maxwell partying at a Halloween party. The pair
• 44:53
Speaker 1: were photographed together at supermodel Heidi Klum's Halloween party in
• 44:57
Speaker 1: October of 2000. Now remember, how close they were at
• 45:00
Speaker 1: this point in time. And now Andrew will tell you, oh, well,
• 45:02
Speaker 1: we weren't close. So what are you doing at the
• 45:07
Speaker 1: Pimps and Hoes party, Hookers and Pimps-themed bash at the
• 45:10
Speaker 1: Hudson Hotel? Because that's what you were doing at the
• 45:13
Speaker 1: Halloween party with... at Heidi Klum's Halloween party. So you're
• 45:17
Speaker 1: there with Maxwell, but you're not close. You don't know her.
• 45:20
Speaker 1: You just go to the... Hookers and pimps party? Pimps
• 45:23
Speaker 1: and hoes party? I mean, when I worked in the
• 45:26
Speaker 1: joint here in Las Vegas, those parties were wild. Absolutely
• 45:31
Speaker 1: insane types of parties. Invited on a shooting weekend at Sandringham.
• 45:37
Speaker 1: Photos from December 2000 have shown Maxwell and Epstein on
• 45:40
Speaker 1: a pheasant shoot with Andrew. They spent the weekend in
• 45:43
Speaker 1: Norfolk at the Sandringham Estate. Andrew spoke to the BBC
• 45:47
Speaker 1: Newsnight in 2019 about his links to Epstein, and when
• 45:50
Speaker 1: he was asked about that weekend, he said, it was
• 45:53
Speaker 1: a straightforward shooting weekend, whatever that means. Anyone want to
• 45:56
Speaker 1: explain to the rest of us what that means, a
• 45:58
Speaker 1: straightforward shooting weekend? What, you have bent shooting weekends? Crooked
• 46:02
Speaker 1: shooting weekends? What is a straightforward shooting weekend? Andrew photographed
• 46:08
Speaker 1: with Roberts and Maxwell in London. Now we all know
• 46:11
Speaker 1: about this photograph, I'm not even going to go into it.
• 46:14
Speaker 1: Maxwell and Kevin Spacey's tour of the palace. So we
• 46:18
Speaker 1: know Kevin Spacey and Maxwell had a tour of the palace,
• 46:20
Speaker 1: got the pictures, the whole nine. So again, how are
• 46:24
Speaker 1: you going to tell us that you're not close with
• 46:26
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell? And then finally for this article, but certainly
• 46:30
Speaker 1: not the last time they were hanging out, Andrew Maxwell
• 46:33
Speaker 1: Epstein and Harvey Weinstein at Andrew's daughter Beatrice's birthday. In 2006,
• 46:39
Speaker 1: Beatrice's 18th birthday party was held at Windsor Castle. Photos
• 46:43
Speaker 1: published in the Sun on Sunday shows now convicted sex
• 46:46
Speaker 1: offender Harvey Weinstein with Epstein and Maxwell. Talk about the
• 46:50
Speaker 1: three stooges, the three gross, disgusting morons. Maxwell wore a
• 46:55
Speaker 1: feathered mask as she smiled in photos taken at the
• 46:58
Speaker 1: bash that was attended by some 400 guests. Epstein was
• 47:02
Speaker 1: being investigated by U.S. authorities at the time he attended
• 47:04
Speaker 1: the party. Two months later, he was issued a warrant
• 47:07
Speaker 1: for sexual assault of a minor. You mean to tell
• 47:10
Speaker 1: me that nobody warned the prince? Nobody in the foreign
• 47:12
Speaker 1: affairs office called over and said, hey, look, dude, Jeffrey
• 47:16
Speaker 1: Epstein's a sick fuck, boys. What are you guys doing?
• 47:20
Speaker 1: Maybe they didn't. But I'll tell you what, either way,
• 47:23
Speaker 1: what's Prince Andrew doing? I mean, here's an idea. Why
• 47:26
Speaker 1: don't you Google the people you're hanging out with? During
• 47:31
Speaker 1: a Newsnight interview in 2019, Andrew claimed he didn't know
• 47:34
Speaker 1: about the proceedings and that Epstein had attended because he
• 47:37
Speaker 1: had invited Maxwell. So again, he says in the interview
• 47:40
Speaker 1: he invited Maxwell, but all of a sudden, him and
• 47:43
Speaker 1: Epstein were the close ones? None of it makes sense,
• 47:46
Speaker 1: all right? The whole story he's pitching and this whole
• 47:49
Speaker 1: entire line that him and Maxwell weren't close might be
• 47:52
Speaker 1: what sinks him here. And that's why I wanted to
• 47:54
Speaker 1: focus on this again tonight. Pretty sure... Judge Kaplan's going
• 47:58
Speaker 1: to take a look at this and say the same
• 48:00
Speaker 1: thing I'm saying. What are you talking about, buddy? I
• 48:02
Speaker 1: see the evidence here. You were obviously close to her.
• 48:05
Speaker 1: And if you can't be truthful about the very basics,
• 48:09
Speaker 1: the small little nuance, then you're definitely not being truthful
• 48:13
Speaker 1: about the overall story either. So that's where it's at
• 48:16
Speaker 1: with Prince Andrew. And when you look at the rebuttal
• 48:21
Speaker 1: he put forward here, it is absolutely ridiculous. And for
• 48:26
Speaker 1: him and his legal team, I mean, maybe they were
• 48:29
Speaker 1: excited when they put that together. They all had a toast,
• 48:32
Speaker 1: maybe clanked a couple of glasses, thought they did a
• 48:35
Speaker 1: good job. But boys, tell you what, barely getting a
• 48:40
Speaker 1: C grade here. And lucky to get that because this
• 48:45
Speaker 1: whole entire response was not, the right way to go
• 48:48
Speaker 1: about it in my opinion. Anyway, I guess we'll have
• 48:51
Speaker 1: to see. We'll, we'll come back and we'll check this, uh,
• 48:54
Speaker 1: episode after all is said and done. And we'll see
• 48:56
Speaker 1: if I was close to the mark or not. But
• 48:59
Speaker 1: so far when we're talking about these people and the
• 49:02
Speaker 1: way they've gone about defending themselves, this has not been
• 49:06
Speaker 1: the right way to do it. They've all failed. And
• 49:08
Speaker 1: I would expect to see Prince Andrew fail as well.
• 49:11
Speaker 1: If he keeps this up, especially so tomorrow morning, we'll
• 49:15
Speaker 1: pick back up and we'll see what's going on with,
• 49:17
Speaker 1: Maxwell and Epstein and Andrew and the rest of them.
• 49:21
Speaker 1: And you know that we're going to have a couple
• 49:23
Speaker 1: of curves in the road, if you will, and some
• 49:26
Speaker 1: more bumps before we get to the end here. Because
• 49:30
Speaker 1: there is so much more we do not know. For
• 49:33
Speaker 1: everything that we do know, there's a ton more that
• 49:36
Speaker 1: we don't know. And every day more becomes available. And
• 49:40
Speaker 1: as we get more document dumps and more things are unsealed,
• 49:44
Speaker 1: hopefully we'll get more information and the picture will become
• 49:48
Speaker 1: more clear. All right, everybody, that's going to do it
• 49:51
Speaker 1: for tonight. I will be back tomorrow morning with a
• 49:55
Speaker 1: morning update, obviously. Some context episodes coming your way in
• 49:59
Speaker 1: the meantime. And we'll be off and running. If you'd
• 50:02
Speaker 1: like to contact me, you can do that at bobbycapucci
