- 0:55Speaker 3: fries and a large coke. Welcome to this week's episode
- 1:05Speaker 3: of Positively three sixty five. Today we're talking about a
- 1:09Speaker 3: quality that might not get as much attention as success
- 1:13Speaker 3: or confidence, but it's the foundation that holds everything together.
- 1:18Speaker 3: It is resilience. Resilience is your ability to bounce back,
- 1:24Speaker 3: to keep going, to rise after you fall. Life has
- 1:29Speaker 3: a way of throwing curveballs, setbacks, failures, disappointments, and resilience
- 1:35Speaker 3: is what helps us not just survive them, but grow
- 1:39Speaker 3: because of them. So today let's explore how to build
- 1:44Speaker 3: that inner strength and why it matters more than we
- 1:48Speaker 3: might think. But first, it's time for our trivia question
- 1:52Speaker 3: of the day. Are you ready for it? Here it
- 1:55Speaker 3: is which famous inventor was told by his teachers that
- 2:01Speaker 3: he was too stupid to learn anything. We'll have the
- 2:06Speaker 3: answer when we come back. Are you looking for your

- 3:51Speaker 3: Do you know the answer to this week's trivia question?
- 3:54Speaker 3: The question was which famous inventor was told by his
- 3:59Speaker 3: teachers that he was too stupid to learn anything? The
- 4:05Speaker 3: answer Thomas Edison. That's right. Thomas Edison, the man who
- 4:10Speaker 3: would go on to invent the phonograph, the light bulb,
- 4:15Speaker 3: and hold over one thousand patents, was once considered unteachable.
- 4:21Speaker 3: He was even fired from his first two jobs for
- 4:24Speaker 3: being non productive. But Edison didn't let early failure or
- 4:30Speaker 3: harsh criticism define him. He kept on going, trying, failing learning.
- 4:37Speaker 3: His resilience not only led to world changing inventions, it
- 4:42Speaker 3: also showed us what's possible when we don't give up. Now,
- 4:48Speaker 3: you know resilience. Resilience isn't about pretending things don't hurt.
- 5:01Speaker 3: It's not about being tough all the time or acting
- 5:05Speaker 3: like everything's fine when it isn't true. Resilience is about
- 5:10Speaker 3: acknowledging the struggle, feeling the weight of disappointment or loss,
- 5:15Speaker 3: and then choosing to take one more step anyway. It's
- 5:20Speaker 3: about understanding that failure isn't final, that rejection isn't the
- 5:25Speaker 3: end of the road, that heartbreak doesn't mean your story
- 5:29Speaker 3: is over. Resilience means giving yourself permission to be human,
- 5:33Speaker 3: to fall down, to cry, to take a breath and
- 5:37Speaker 3: still get back up and try again. Every time you rise,
- 5:42Speaker 3: you prove to yourself that you're stronger than the thing
- 5:45Speaker 3: that tried to break you and knock you down. And
- 5:48Speaker 3: the beautiful part resilience grows every time you use it.
- 5:53Speaker 3: The more you stretch it, the stronger it becomes. And
- 5:57Speaker 3: the strength will carry you through just about anything. Here
- 6:14Speaker 3: is something to carry with you. Charles Darwin one said,
- 6:21Speaker 3: it's not the strongest of the species that survive, nor
- 6:25Speaker 3: the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.
- 6:32Speaker 3: You don't have to have it all figured out. You
- 6:35Speaker 3: just have to keep going. Fall, learn, rise, repeat. That's
- 6:41Speaker 3: the rhythm of resilience. Fall, learn, rise, repeat, and that's
- 6:49Speaker 3: how you keep moving forward, one moment, one step, one
- 6:54Speaker 3: brave breath at a time.
