- 0:54Speaker 4: Yell, yello, what's up? What's up? Family? What's head in? Hey?
- 0:59Speaker 4: This is your brother, mister his Hop and welcome to
- 1:02Speaker 4: another episode of his Hot radio podcasts. We call this
- 1:07Speaker 4: verse by verse because that's basically what we do. We
- 1:11Speaker 4: go verse by verse through the Word of God. On
- 1:14Speaker 4: this podcast. We believe that the Word of God, the
- 1:17Speaker 4: ingrafted Word, is able to save our soul. So we
- 1:20Speaker 4: are intentional. We take time out to examine it, to
- 1:23Speaker 4: go over it, to break it down, and we encourage
- 1:26Speaker 4: you to even go further in it. We kind of
- 1:29Speaker 4: lead you on different directions, different paths where you can
- 1:33Speaker 4: go and really dig into the Word of God. And
- 1:36Speaker 4: I pray that this podcast will be a blessing and
- 1:40Speaker 4: that you will get value out of it. And if
- 1:42Speaker 4: you have, please let us know. Hit us up on
- 1:45Speaker 4: our website. His hot Nation dot com and of course
- 1:49Speaker 4: download that his hot radio app that is Hi Shop
- 1:53Speaker 4: his hop Radio on all platforms. And once you do that,
- 1:57Speaker 4: go ahead and hit that top left menu and once
- 2:00Speaker 4: it drops down, pick that life chat and get registered.
- 2:06Speaker 4: All it takes is a username, email address, and a
- 2:09Speaker 4: past word. It does not take long at all. It's
- 2:12Speaker 4: very easy to do. And once you do that, give
- 2:16Speaker 4: us a shout out and a life chat. We like
- 2:19Speaker 4: to consider ourselves your small group on the radio. We
- 2:25Speaker 4: like to hold each other accountable, pray for each other,
- 2:28Speaker 4: gree in prayer. We like to keep each other on
- 2:31Speaker 4: that narrow path. We have to be intentional in our
- 2:35Speaker 4: walk with the Lord. We have to live a life
- 2:38Speaker 4: of righteousness, live a life of obedience. We have to
- 2:41Speaker 4: be taught by his word our behavior in our ways.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Obedience is everything in the kingdom. And also we have
- 2:50Speaker 4: to strengthen our faith and the only way we can
- 2:52Speaker 4: do that is by hearing the word. And sometimes we
- 2:56Speaker 4: need people in our lives that will correct us, people
- 3:00Speaker 4: that will encourage us, people that will instruct us, that
- 3:04Speaker 4: will help us to walk down this path. Amen. So
- 3:12Speaker 4: that's what we do right here on his Hot Radio
- 3:14Speaker 4: app in the Life Chat. We're building an online community
- 3:17Speaker 4: of discipleship and we go through the word and also
- 3:23Speaker 4: we hit you with some hot heat. We can keep
- 3:26Speaker 4: you updated on our events, and we believe that we
- 3:29Speaker 4: could use music to make a huge impact in the kingdom.
- 3:35Speaker 4: And so welcome to his Hot movement. So right now
- 3:39Speaker 4: we're going through the Book of Jeremiah. We're in chapter
- 3:43Speaker 4: ten and we're looking at the judgment, the warnings. Jeremiah
- 3:51Speaker 4: is considered the weeping Profit. We're looking at all these
- 3:55Speaker 4: things and we're asking our fire to give us understanding
- 4:02Speaker 4: and revelation and see where do we stand. Where do
- 4:05Speaker 4: we stand in our own individual lives, and where do
- 4:09Speaker 4: we stand as a nation? Where do we stand? Hopefully
- 4:14Speaker 4: we do not cross that line to where we can't return.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Like we are reading here in the Book of Jeremiah,
- 4:22Speaker 4: Judah was warned over and over again. They did not
- 4:25Speaker 4: take the warnings to heart, and so judgment finally came
- 4:30Speaker 4: and now they're freaking out. Now they realize the reality
- 4:33Speaker 4: of it that they are about to be disciplined severely.
- 4:39Speaker 4: And so that's where we pick up the story. So
- 4:42Speaker 4: let's pray, Father, we ask for your hand to be
- 4:45Speaker 4: over this podcast. We ask Father God, that you will
- 4:48Speaker 4: take it, and that you will prosper it and let
- 4:51Speaker 4: it be used for your purposes. And no one else
- 4:54Speaker 4: Lord will gain glory but you, oh God, for you
- 4:58Speaker 4: deserve it. You deserve all the glory, all the honor,
- 5:01Speaker 4: and all the praise. O God. If anything has been
- 5:05Speaker 4: done that has been good or great by this podcast,
- 5:09Speaker 4: this platform, Oh God, it's only because of you, Lord,
- 5:13Speaker 4: and we give you the glory, O God. We thank you,
- 5:17Speaker 4: Father God. We praise you God. We pray for a
- 5:20Speaker 4: fresher ninety and a fresh outpouring and the mighty name
- 5:25Speaker 4: of Jesus. Amen. All right, So we are in the
- 5:31Speaker 4: Book of Jeremiah, chapter ten, and we left off on
- 5:36Speaker 4: verse twenty one. We're actually going to finish the chapter today.
- 5:42Speaker 4: We're going to cover five verses, and then when we
- 5:47Speaker 4: come back together we will be in chapter eleven. Amen.
- 5:52Speaker 4: So in this chapter we see that the coming captivity
- 6:00Speaker 4: of Judah is upon them, like they're about to be
- 6:05Speaker 4: flung out of their inhabitants as we read in the
- 6:09Speaker 4: last chapter. If you don't get anything else, understand that
- 6:15Speaker 4: God is not playing around. It doesn't play to trifle
- 6:21Speaker 4: with God. If God has warned us if he's dealing
- 6:24Speaker 4: with us a different area in our lives, we need
- 6:27Speaker 4: to get it right. We can't just keep prolonging it,
- 6:31Speaker 4: prolonging it. There's area I don't know about you, but
- 6:34Speaker 4: there's areas in my life where I've been stuck in cycles. Right,
- 6:38Speaker 4: I give it to God, then I take it back.
- 6:40Speaker 4: I give it to God, then I take it back.
- 6:43Speaker 4: This book is open my eyes to the fact like
- 6:47Speaker 4: God doesn't play. If he says give it up, we
- 6:51Speaker 4: better give it up. And we need to do that
- 6:54Speaker 4: with the quickness. Amen. And so as understand this and
- 7:00Speaker 4: as we read it, let it penetrate our heart. Help
- 7:04Speaker 4: us to get the message, and help us to apply
- 7:08Speaker 4: this message. Holy Spirit. All right, I just want to
- 7:15Speaker 4: back it up to verse twenty because that is a
- 7:17Speaker 4: good scripture, and I believe it's worth meditating over one
- 7:21Speaker 4: more time. We touched on it on the last episode.
- 7:25Speaker 4: But in verse twenty it says, my tint is plundered
- 7:29Speaker 4: and all my cords are broken. My children have gone
- 7:33Speaker 4: for me, and they are no more. There is no
- 7:38Speaker 4: one to pitch my tent anymore or set up my curtains.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Now that is a lament that is a cry out
- 7:52Speaker 4: of God's heart. How would you feel if you come
- 7:55Speaker 4: home one day and all your children were gone? You know,
- 8:00Speaker 4: those of us who raised children, we remember their laughter,
- 8:03Speaker 4: their voices when they were young. We remember how they
- 8:07Speaker 4: used to run through the house and play with their toys.
- 8:10Speaker 4: And remember how they used to come up to us
- 8:13Speaker 4: and my children when I used to come home from work,
- 8:16Speaker 4: they used to play a game who can get the
- 8:18Speaker 4: first hug? And it was awesome how I was just
- 8:22Speaker 4: basically get tackled before I can get through the door.
- 8:25Speaker 4: And I always used to tease my wife like, how
- 8:27Speaker 4: come you never win? You always get the last hug,
- 8:30Speaker 4: you know, And that is priceless. You know, you can
- 8:34Speaker 4: remember times like this and God is saying that who's
- 8:40Speaker 4: going to set up my curtain? Who's going to take
- 8:42Speaker 4: care of the house? My children are gone from me,
- 8:47Speaker 4: And he's talking about the whole nation of Judah. Right,
- 8:53Speaker 4: So that's his heart. He doesn't want to judge, right,
- 8:57Speaker 4: he doesn't. He takes no pleasure and judging his children.
- 9:03Speaker 4: But he's also a just god, which we're going to
- 9:05Speaker 4: see here verse tweeny one. For the shepherds have become
- 9:09Speaker 4: dullhearted Now, this is an indictment to our leaders. If
- 9:17Speaker 4: you are a pastor, a Bible study leader, a mentor,
- 9:23Speaker 4: we really need to pay attention to the scripture. That's
- 9:25Speaker 4: why I want to hit it all over again on
- 9:27Speaker 4: this episode because leaders are held to a higher standard
- 9:33Speaker 4: and will be judged at a higher standard. Leaders have responsibility.
- 9:38Speaker 4: We are responsible for the people who are coming after us. Now,
- 9:44Speaker 4: I like to watch videos on YouTube of people who
- 9:49Speaker 4: have near death experiences, people who go to hell. They
- 9:53Speaker 4: describe it, They even feel the fire, they feel the flames,
- 9:58Speaker 4: and they are visited by Jesus, and Jesus even speaks
- 10:03Speaker 4: to them and show them different things and explain to them,
- 10:09Speaker 4: you know, if you don't get it right, this is
- 10:11Speaker 4: where you'll end up. And it was one particular time
- 10:17Speaker 4: this brother was explaining that he saw himself in his cell,
- 10:21Speaker 4: but underneath him was like a whole bunch of other
- 10:24Speaker 4: cells that opened up. And this guy was a rapper
- 10:29Speaker 4: and his content was not godly and he was going
- 10:37Speaker 4: to hell himself. But the Lord was showing him that
- 10:41Speaker 4: the content of his music, his influence the people that
- 10:46Speaker 4: following him, the people that basically worshiped him. Right, because
- 10:51Speaker 4: people have a habit of worshiping celebrities and things like that.
- 10:55Speaker 4: They were in cells underneath him. He was responsible. The
- 11:00Speaker 4: blood was on his hands all the people that he
- 11:02Speaker 4: led to astray. And that same responsibility is on pastors
- 11:08Speaker 4: and leaders. I mean, I always even consider myself in
- 11:12Speaker 4: that category because I have been able to impact and
- 11:16Speaker 4: influence a lot of people through our Christian hip hop
- 11:20Speaker 4: club right here in Las Vegas Club His Hop, and
- 11:24Speaker 4: there's been people all over the world. We've had people
- 11:27Speaker 4: even allway from China who has come and minister that
- 11:32Speaker 4: club his Hop. And if I don't walk this walk right,
- 11:36Speaker 4: then who knows who I could affect in a negative light.
- 11:41Speaker 4: That's why I'm taking all the steps I can to
- 11:44Speaker 4: correct my actions, my mistakes. It's a sober responsibility to
- 11:52Speaker 4: be a leader in the kingdom, and now we cannot
- 11:56Speaker 4: afford our hearts to be dull. And so I've always
- 11:59Speaker 4: been taught that leaders are readers. We need to constantly
- 12:02Speaker 4: be reading books, especially men who are leading their families
- 12:07Speaker 4: and pastors, and if you are raising children or whatever,
- 12:12Speaker 4: we need to always be reading books, reading books that
- 12:15Speaker 4: will help us and strengthen us. And of course the
- 12:18Speaker 4: Bible is the number one, and it says, and have
- 12:22Speaker 4: not sought the Lord, we are responsible as leaders to
- 12:25Speaker 4: seek God. I'm coming to realize more and more that
- 12:29Speaker 4: I need to seek God more when it comes to
- 12:32Speaker 4: making decisions in my family, making decisions of my own life,
- 12:37Speaker 4: making decisions in every area at work, business, ministry, our
- 12:44Speaker 4: job and responsibility. And it's not just leaders. Everyone has
- 12:47Speaker 4: called to seek after the Lord. And if we don't
- 12:51Speaker 4: seek the Lord, our hearts will be dulled. We won't
- 12:58Speaker 4: be able to lead anyone out of a webon paper
- 13:00Speaker 4: bag if we're not seeking God. Therefore they shall not prosper,
- 13:08Speaker 4: and all their flocks shall be scattered. I would hate
- 13:13Speaker 4: to be in a position where my leadership doesn't help anyone,
- 13:17Speaker 4: that I'm not prospering, and then to see the flock scattered,
- 13:23Speaker 4: the people that God has given to me to oversee
- 13:28Speaker 4: as a responsibility, to be an example, to help bring deliverance,
- 13:32Speaker 4: to help bring them out, to help them get victory,
- 13:35Speaker 4: to help them in the areas in their lives. Because
- 13:39Speaker 4: I'm not seeking the Lord, they will be scattered. See,
- 13:44Speaker 4: your relationship with God is not just for you. Your relationship
- 13:49Speaker 4: with God is for others, others who are gonna look
- 13:52Speaker 4: towards you, others that need you to live in victory.
- 13:57Speaker 4: There's people out there that need you. They need you
- 13:59Speaker 4: to reason this temptation. They need you to pray and
- 14:03Speaker 4: to develop a prayer life. They need you to pray
- 14:06Speaker 4: for them. They need you to teach and to witness.
- 14:10Speaker 4: We never know who's looking at our lives. And if
- 14:15Speaker 4: we scatter them, or if we bring them into the fold,
- 14:20Speaker 4: it's on us Amen. Verse twenty two. Behold, the noise
- 14:29Speaker 4: of the report has come. And now this is sobering. Right.
- 14:34Speaker 4: Have you ever heard bad news? Have you ever heard
- 14:36Speaker 4: that somebody so and so is looking for you? Have
- 14:41Speaker 4: you ever been in a fight right and or been
- 14:48Speaker 4: in a situation and someone is seeking you because they
- 14:52Speaker 4: want to fight you. They want to you know, you
- 14:55Speaker 4: got to answer for it, this and that and the other.
- 14:57Speaker 4: And I've been in situations like that. But this is
- 15:02Speaker 4: a report about the Babylonian army that is invading the land.
- 15:08Speaker 4: And it says in a great commotion out of the
- 15:12Speaker 4: northern country. That means it's getting close, that's right at
- 15:18Speaker 4: their doorstep. As we said before, the most northern tribe
- 15:24Speaker 4: would have been the tribe of Dan, and Dan was
- 15:27Speaker 4: the first tribe to introduce taking worship to the nation
- 15:32Speaker 4: of Israel, and so it kind of makes sense that
- 15:36Speaker 4: they would be the first tribe to be dealt with.
- 15:40Speaker 4: But not only that. And you read the Book of
- 15:43Speaker 4: Revelation and they go over the section in that book
- 15:51Speaker 4: of the one hundred and forty four thousand, and it's no,
- 15:55Speaker 4: it's not the one hundred and forty four of the
- 15:59Speaker 4: Jehovah's witnesses. Is that is not correct doctrine that tells
- 16:03Speaker 4: you right there who they are. There are different tribes
- 16:06Speaker 4: from the nation of Israel. And if you read it,
- 16:09Speaker 4: it's interesting that the tribe of Dan is missing. The
- 16:14Speaker 4: tribe of Dan is not named.
- 16:17Speaker 2: In that.
- 16:18Speaker 4: And so I always thought that that was interesting that
- 16:22Speaker 4: the tribe of Dan was the first tribe to fall,
- 16:25Speaker 4: and they were omitted in that record, in that account.
- 16:28Speaker 4: But I'm gonna leave you, leave you to steady that
- 16:31Speaker 4: out for yourself. But I always thought it was interesting.
- 16:35Speaker 4: So a great commotion out of the northern country to
- 16:41Speaker 4: make the cities of Judah desolate and then of jackals.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Now this is how God looked at them. This was
- 16:54Speaker 4: his assessment, This was his evaluation. In his card about
- 17:02Speaker 4: the nation in the city of Judah at the time. Now,
- 17:06Speaker 4: if we can remember, Jesus said the similar thing when
- 17:12Speaker 4: he cleansed the temple and the gospels, he has said
- 17:15Speaker 4: that you've made my father's house a din of thieves.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Right now, as we think about this, what is his
- 17:30Speaker 4: report concerning us our lives? Are we a den of jackals?
- 17:37Speaker 4: Are we a den of thieves? When he looks into
- 17:40Speaker 4: our lives? What does he see? What does he say
- 17:43Speaker 4: about our dwelling place? The Bible tells us that we
- 17:47Speaker 4: are supposed to be a city on a hill, right
- 17:52Speaker 4: to allow our life to shine before men? Are we
- 17:57Speaker 4: a city that he can place on the heel? And
- 18:01Speaker 4: if he places on us on the hill, are we
- 18:03Speaker 4: gonna get puff full, puffed up with pride, get prideful
- 18:08Speaker 4: and arrogant because oh we're on a hill? Or are
- 18:11Speaker 4: we going to shine bright? Can he use us to
- 18:18Speaker 4: be a beacon of light to a dark world? And
- 18:22Speaker 4: that's what he wanted for the nation of Judah. He
- 18:26Speaker 4: wanted them to shine, But as we see, they were
- 18:33Speaker 4: a dim of jackals. In verse twenty three, Oh Lord,
- 18:40Speaker 4: I know the way of man is not in him.
- 18:45Speaker 4: It is not in man who walks to direct his
- 18:49Speaker 4: own steps. Now that's a verse. We need to memorize,
- 18:52Speaker 4: and we need to understand. What do we have control over.
- 18:57Speaker 4: I've heard people say that control is an illusion. We
- 19:01Speaker 4: really don't have control over anything. We don't even have
- 19:05Speaker 4: control over our own breath. We breathe involuntarily. Right, Just
- 19:13Speaker 4: think of how lack of control we truly have. Only
- 19:20Speaker 4: thing that we really have is our hearts, and we
- 19:24Speaker 4: need to submit our hearts over to God. Amen. Even
- 19:29Speaker 4: these bodies we live in, we can't control if our
- 19:32Speaker 4: hair turns gray or black. I mean, a lot of
- 19:36Speaker 4: us die our hair right. Try to wash the grays out,
- 19:41Speaker 4: but we can't control that. We can't control if we
- 19:45Speaker 4: want to stay twenty one years old? You know where
- 19:48Speaker 4: the years go by a lot of us we're at
- 19:51Speaker 4: the age where we never thought we would be. If
- 19:55Speaker 4: it was up to us, we would be twenty one
- 19:57Speaker 4: or thirty, we would stay young, you know what I mean?
- 20:02Speaker 4: A lot of our lives are the consequences and the
- 20:06Speaker 4: choices we made over the years. If we see that,
- 20:12Speaker 4: and if we understand that, I believe that we would
- 20:16Speaker 4: make better choices. Amen. But even our way it says
- 20:23Speaker 4: are of the Lord, that he directs our steps, but
- 20:31Speaker 4: he gives us free choice, and he tells us to
- 20:34Speaker 4: choose life. I say all the time on this podcast
- 20:39Speaker 4: that the pathway to life is narrow. It's a narrow road, right,
- 20:44Speaker 4: only a few will find it. I've seen videos, like
- 20:50Speaker 4: I said, near death experiences. In one particular one I'm
- 20:53Speaker 4: thinking of, this guy said that he was in front
- 20:57Speaker 4: of the gates of Heaven and thousands of people went
- 21:02Speaker 4: before at the gates of Heaven as far as trying
- 21:06Speaker 4: to get in and out. Of thousands of people, only
- 21:10Speaker 4: a few actually entered. Now to me, that is sobering. Like,
- 21:17Speaker 4: you have to be intentional to enter the kingdom. Nobody
- 21:20Speaker 4: is really going to accidentally end up there. Amen, Like
- 21:28Speaker 4: I don't want to be numbered with the multitude that
- 21:32Speaker 4: don't make it. I want to do put into work,
- 21:35Speaker 4: do what we need to do now to enter the Kingdom.
- 21:39Speaker 4: So on that day, Heaven's gates are open wide. Amen.
- 21:49Speaker 4: Verse twenty four. Oh Lord, correct me, but with justice,
- 21:54Speaker 4: not in your anger, lest you bring me to nothing. Now,
- 22:01Speaker 4: this is Jeremiah the prophet. He is crying out to
- 22:05Speaker 4: the Lord. And this is something I never asked for
- 22:09Speaker 4: I never asked for justice, right, because if we call
- 22:12Speaker 4: out for justice, that means God would kill everybody on
- 22:15Speaker 4: his planet. We've all done things that deserves judgment, right,
- 22:22Speaker 4: There's none righteous, no, not one. But in this passage,
- 22:27Speaker 4: he's comparing justice to his mercy, or not even his mercy,
- 22:33Speaker 4: excuse me, to his anger. He says, do not correct
- 22:37Speaker 4: me in your anger. And what he's saying, and what
- 22:41Speaker 4: he's trying to say here is that if God corrects
- 22:47Speaker 4: us and we provoke his anger and his wrath, we
- 22:51Speaker 4: will be nothing. We would be consumed, we would be
- 22:59Speaker 4: utterly destroyed, We would fall into the very pits of
- 23:06Speaker 4: hell if we want to provoke the anger and wrath
- 23:11Speaker 4: of God. And I do believe that as a country
- 23:16Speaker 4: in the United States of America, that is exactly what
- 23:20Speaker 4: we're doing as a nation. We are provoking the wrath
- 23:24Speaker 4: of God. And I believe God is going to deal
- 23:28Speaker 4: with us before the whole world if we don't get
- 23:34Speaker 4: our act together, we do not mess around and slap
- 23:41Speaker 4: God in the face and think we're going to get
- 23:43Speaker 4: away with it. And America has turned away, America has
- 23:49Speaker 4: become sexually immoral, has become corrupt, and the churches are
- 23:57Speaker 4: not preaching the word. The churches, the church is responsible
- 24:03Speaker 4: for the spiritual health of the nation. And when the
- 24:07Speaker 4: pastors and the leaders they stop preaching the word, they
- 24:10Speaker 4: stop preaching the truth, then the nation is going to
- 24:15Speaker 4: fall down a slippery slope. And so we need to
- 24:21Speaker 4: pray that God will not through out his wrath in
- 24:25Speaker 4: our country, but that He will deal with us and
- 24:30Speaker 4: his mercy. It's a good thing to be corrected by
- 24:34Speaker 4: God because it shows that we are his children. Hopefully,
- 24:40Speaker 4: you don't get by with corruption when people in your
- 24:44Speaker 4: office are people at work. When they cheat and they
- 24:47Speaker 4: lie and they do certain things, you can't do that.
- 24:52Speaker 4: When we try to do it, we get caught. And
- 24:56Speaker 4: to be honest, I got in trouble for something that
- 25:00Speaker 4: I've been doing for years that I didn't realize that
- 25:03Speaker 4: it was. You know, I was doing something wrong. But
- 25:07Speaker 4: by the grace of God, you know it was corrected.
- 25:10Speaker 4: You know that they just didn't get rid of me
- 25:13Speaker 4: and fire me. But because I'm the child of God,
- 25:18Speaker 4: God is gonna call me on the carpet. So the
- 25:22Speaker 4: Bible says, do not grow weary when God chasing us,
- 25:25Speaker 4: because he does not correct other people's children. Man, and
- 25:31Speaker 4: the prophet that says, not in your anger unless you
- 25:35Speaker 4: bring me to nothing. Hey, man, we don't want that smoke.
- 25:38Speaker 4: We don't want the anger of God. Verse twenty five,
- 25:43Speaker 4: pour out your fury on the gentiles who do not
- 25:47Speaker 4: know you. Now the prophet is calling out against the
- 25:55Speaker 4: nation of Babylon, because the irony of this thing is
- 25:59Speaker 4: that God is using an ungodly nation to punish a
- 26:05Speaker 4: godly nation, supposedly godly at least Judah. They had the law,
- 26:14Speaker 4: they knew about God, they had the Word, and outwardly
- 26:18Speaker 4: looking in you said that they were closer to God
- 26:21Speaker 4: than the Babylonians were. But God looks at the heart,
- 26:28Speaker 4: and so he's saying, pour out your feary on the
- 26:32Speaker 4: gentiles who do not know you, and on the families
- 26:36Speaker 4: who do not call on your name. Now that's an
- 26:40Speaker 4: indictment right there, the families who do not call upon
- 26:45Speaker 4: his name. How many families do we know that are
- 26:50Speaker 4: not actively calling up on the name of the Lord.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Have we considered that? Have we considered that these families,
- 27:02Speaker 4: if they don't get right, they're gonna be headed to judgment.
- 27:07Speaker 4: This could be their indictment. This could be something that
- 27:12Speaker 4: would condemn them forever. As a family, we need to
- 27:17Speaker 4: be calling upon the name of the Lord, and as men,
- 27:22Speaker 4: we need to be leading the charge. We need to
- 27:24Speaker 4: lead our families into worship. We need to lead our
- 27:27Speaker 4: families into prayer. Aymen, For they have eaten up Jacob,
- 27:37Speaker 4: devouring him and consumed him and made his dwelling place desolate.
- 27:44Speaker 4: So the prophet Jeremiah is calling on the Lord pringing
- 27:48Speaker 4: against the nation of Babylon. They didn't show any mercy.
- 27:53Speaker 4: They just tore up the place. And I just keep
- 27:58Speaker 4: my heart keeps crying out for the United States of America.
- 28:03Speaker 4: This could be us, beloved, This could be us. Our
- 28:07Speaker 4: dning place could be desolate, like God doesn't play, we
- 28:13Speaker 4: think because we're a large nation and we've been the
- 28:16Speaker 4: world power and all this, like we can't be touched. No,
- 28:23Speaker 4: do not take this for granted. Do not listen to
- 28:27Speaker 4: the pastors that teach greasy grace to where you can
- 28:30Speaker 4: live a life of sin and God is just gonna
- 28:32Speaker 4: wink at you know. We need to repent and turn
- 28:36Speaker 4: from sin and turn to the Lord. America needs to
- 28:41Speaker 4: be on our knees crying out to our heavenly Father,
- 28:48Speaker 4: those of us we need to be praying for our
- 28:49Speaker 4: nation that God would be merciful a man, my prayer
- 28:58Speaker 4: is that at least the layed judgment until we as
- 29:04Speaker 4: a church as a body fulfill all that we've been
- 29:07Speaker 4: called to. Hey man, all right, family, let's take a break.

- 30:35Speaker 4: Eevil?
- 30:36Speaker 2: Pull up?
- 30:36Speaker 3: And where I go walk? Put on nine restraw like
- 30:38Speaker 3: colo on, Hey, anybody block up?
- 30:41Speaker 2: Good on?
- 30:41Speaker 6: Next in business?
- 30:42Speaker 3: I stood on Yeah, rap gang got my foot on.
- 30:45Speaker 3: I ain't the one that you stand on street state
- 30:47Speaker 3: limit like Jesus and the church state thinking on me.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Eevil call up church state thinking I'm evil because I
- 30:52Speaker 3: still ride around with that heater. I know the streets
- 30:54Speaker 3: hot like a fever. I keep that sword on me
- 30:57Speaker 3: j like Peter. They sent that shot set me like
- 30:58Speaker 3: I need. I'm trying to y'all my that's he was
- 31:01Speaker 3: walking in the church, no church clothes on.
- 31:03Speaker 6: Now, don't think I'm a believe it.
- 31:04Speaker 3: They see the tattoos, so they figure on bad news.
- 31:07Speaker 3: When I walked in the building, I knew it was fishing.
- 31:09Speaker 3: They serving no word like it's fast food, all business.
- 31:11Speaker 3: It ain't no more ministry going sin. I can't lett
- 31:13Speaker 3: no more sin in me. So this world they close
- 31:15Speaker 3: to the enemy, plying water en.

- 31:59Speaker 5: You are listening to the Light of Las Vegas. This
- 32:02Speaker 5: is the His Hop Radio show.
- 32:21Speaker 4: All right, all right, we are back from the music break.
- 32:26Speaker 4: That was the artist d Rango Streets. It was the
- 32:34Speaker 4: name of the song. And I'm your brother, I'm your host,
- 32:39Speaker 4: mister his Hop. Welcome to His Hop Radio podcast. Once again.
- 32:46Speaker 4: I want to give a huge shout out to the
- 32:48Speaker 4: Light Chat. Shout out to our brother's Own three always
- 32:50Speaker 4: checking in and when he can't make it live, you
- 32:54Speaker 4: can always find him in the replay. Give him a
- 32:57Speaker 4: shout out. Go over to our life Chat on the
- 33:01Speaker 4: his Hot radio app and say what's up to our
- 33:03Speaker 4: brother's Own and everyone else who are faithful. You know,
- 33:06Speaker 4: the God calls us to be faithful a man. Sometimes
- 33:11Speaker 4: it's a small things that we're faithful to that will
- 33:15Speaker 4: take us to the next level in the Kingdom. Amen.
- 33:18Speaker 4: God loves it to see that we are men and
- 33:21Speaker 4: women of our word, that we can keep a commitment,
- 33:24Speaker 4: or that we can develop a character that he can
- 33:27Speaker 4: trust and he can work with that. Amen. I believe
- 33:32Speaker 4: that God has some great things in store for you,
- 33:34Speaker 4: my Brother's Own, for just being faithful. Hallelujah, Very encouraging.
- 33:43Speaker 4: And with that being said, it's time to transition into
- 33:50Speaker 4: our next segment, which is our accountability Partner segment. And
- 33:54Speaker 4: the question today is our challenge today has called your
- 34:03Speaker 4: excuse me, my thust Sole. So call your accountability partner
- 34:10Speaker 4: today and see if you can identify any idols in
- 34:15Speaker 4: your life. Right, Well, that was from the last episode,
- 34:19Speaker 4: but this episode we're talking about leadership. So whether if
- 34:26Speaker 4: you're a parent, or if you're a pastor, teacher, a mentor,
- 34:32Speaker 4: or just someone that people look up to, the question
- 34:37Speaker 4: is are you seeking God in your leadership? Remember we
- 34:43Speaker 4: have to be intentional. If you know that God has
- 34:46Speaker 4: called you the leadership, and if you know that God
- 34:49Speaker 4: has allowing you to pour into people, are you seeking
- 34:52Speaker 4: God for that or are you just running on fumes?
- 34:57Speaker 4: Are you running on yesterday's a ninety right? Are you
- 35:02Speaker 4: praying over the people that God has allowed you to
- 35:06Speaker 4: lead or are you just going to the emotions? Right?
- 35:13Speaker 4: So this week find your accountability partner. Even though we
- 35:17Speaker 4: are leaders. Our pastor says all the time that he's
- 35:19Speaker 4: accountable to other pastors ask them, do you see me
- 35:25Speaker 4: seeking God or do you see me drifting?
- 35:31Speaker 2: Now?
- 35:31Speaker 4: Be honest and be vulnerable because accountability does not work
- 35:37Speaker 4: if we don't have integrity, if we're not at least
- 35:39Speaker 4: honest with ourselves. Right, Because if you are drifting, your
- 35:45Speaker 4: people will scatter to the people that you're leading, your
- 35:50Speaker 4: family members, your loved ones, the wolf will come right
- 35:53Speaker 4: in and eat them up. And that's not a threat,
- 35:58Speaker 4: that is just reality. And so we gotta be We
- 36:04Speaker 4: can't be selfish, We can't just think about ourselves. We
- 36:09Speaker 4: got to think about how others will be affected if
- 36:15Speaker 4: we fail to seek after the Lord. Amen. So the
- 36:27Speaker 4: question is my leader seeking God? If not, it might
- 36:32Speaker 4: be time to find a new leader. Is your pastor
- 36:38Speaker 4: seeking God? Is your mentor seeking God? Do you see
- 36:42Speaker 4: evidence of these people that you fellowship in with seeking
- 36:48Speaker 4: the Lord? That should be the number one question when
- 36:54Speaker 4: we fellowship and when we allow people to pour into us. Amen.
- 37:04Speaker 4: We also want to let you know that hiss Hop
- 37:06Speaker 4: Radio is a monitored in a reporting radio station. We
- 37:11Speaker 4: have three charts that we report to. We report to

- 37:42Speaker 4: We're not trying to break the bank's trying to sustain
- 37:47Speaker 4: what God is given to us. And man, now it's
- 37:54Speaker 4: time for trivia. Now. I did a little trick question
- 38:09Speaker 4: last on the last episode. I was talking to Zone
- 38:13Speaker 4: about it the other day and that the question was
- 38:17Speaker 4: how many times is Jeremiah called the Weeping Prophet in
- 38:23Speaker 4: the Bible? How many times? And Zone said he had
- 38:27Speaker 4: to look it up and the answer was zero zero times.
- 38:32Speaker 4: Is not actually in the Bible. It's a title that
- 38:36Speaker 4: we gave him because of his heart, because he felt
- 38:41Speaker 4: the burden of God's message, because he wept over God's
- 38:46Speaker 4: people and he wept over their sin. That the title
- 38:52Speaker 4: Weeping Prophet was given to him, But you're not gonna
- 38:57Speaker 4: actually find it in the Bible. So we'll shout out
- 39:01Speaker 4: to Zoom for participating in that. But today's question is
- 39:08Speaker 4: how many books of the Bible did Jeremiah write? So
- 39:18Speaker 4: how many books in the Bible did Jeremiah write? The
- 39:30Speaker 4: first one who answer that is the trivia champ for
- 39:35Speaker 4: today and you can find this also in the Life
- 39:45Speaker 4: chat time for the community Shout Out. This is where
- 39:52Speaker 4: we give updates on events or events. If you have
- 39:55Speaker 4: an event coming up, we want to hear from you
- 39:59Speaker 4: as well. Love to shout you out. We will be
- 40:03Speaker 4: with the NBA Chapelains at the Detention Center this Saturday.
- 40:07Speaker 4: We're gonna go down there to minister them minister of
- 40:10Speaker 4: the Word. We have artists coming out. I'm gonna be
- 40:14Speaker 4: on the ones in Tuesa once again ministring and serving
- 40:19Speaker 4: the Lord. Obviously that's not open to the public, but
- 40:24Speaker 4: in August August twenty ninth, we have an event book
- 40:28Speaker 4: for the Resort World that will be open to the public.
- 40:32Speaker 4: If you want to come out and hang out with
- 40:34Speaker 4: us and hang out with his Hot Crew, we would
- 40:38Speaker 4: love to see you there. We will give more details
- 40:42Speaker 4: as the dates draw closer. Amen in his Hot Maketion.
- 40:54Speaker 4: We'd like to just let everyone know that we are
- 40:56Speaker 4: a five O one ced three our a nonprofit organization.
- 41:04Speaker 4: Our history is that we opened up a Christian club
- 41:08Speaker 4: back in twenty twelve, a five thousand square foot warehouse.
- 41:12Speaker 4: We turn it into a venue, a stage and lights
- 41:15Speaker 4: and all that stuff. Smoke, DJs and all that. We
- 41:19Speaker 4: did it all so that we can share the gospel
- 41:23Speaker 4: of Christ in our community. And as long as this
- 41:28Speaker 4: guys will, we will be opening another club. But we
- 41:32Speaker 4: also need help from our community. We need help from
- 41:35Speaker 4: our brothers and sisters. If you'll like to help us
- 41:39Speaker 4: to reopen Club His Hop Las Vegas, you can do
- 41:44Speaker 4: so by donating. Go to our website his hotnation dot
- 41:48Speaker 4: com or download the app His Hop Radio and all
- 41:52Speaker 4: platforms and you can donate. And we're looking for monthly partners, sponsors, grants,
- 42:00Speaker 4: grant writers, volunteers. And the cool thing is that it's
- 42:05Speaker 4: all tax deductible. You can write it off and you
- 42:09Speaker 4: can sew into good ground at the same time. All right,
- 42:18Speaker 4: belove it. That is my time. But before we get
- 42:26Speaker 4: out of here, we got some final comments. Now she
- 42:32Speaker 4: finished Jeremiah chapter ten. We went from idols to leadership
- 42:38Speaker 4: to prayer. And here's what I want you to take
- 42:44Speaker 4: away from this episode. One, identify your idols, ask the
- 42:52Speaker 4: Holy Spirit to examine your life. Examine your heart. What
- 42:58Speaker 4: is your master passion? What are you so in love
- 43:00Speaker 4: with that it's taking you away and out of God's will? Right?
- 43:10Speaker 4: It could be a person, place, or thing that you're
- 43:14Speaker 4: worshiping more, that you're loving more than you love the Lord. Right.
- 43:19Speaker 4: Number two, check your leadership. Right, who is leading you?
- 43:26Speaker 4: Who are you allowing to pour into your life? And
- 43:29Speaker 4: who are you leading? Are you going before God on
- 43:33Speaker 4: the behalf of the people that are in and around you?
- 43:41Speaker 4: And Third, pray like Jeremiah, not with arrogance but with humility,
- 43:48Speaker 4: not with revenge but with justice, Not with doubt but
- 43:56Speaker 4: with faith. Amen, let's pray Emily. Father. We just thank you,
- 44:06Speaker 4: Father God, for this opportunity once again to come before you,
- 44:11Speaker 4: to get in your word. God, help us to examine
- 44:14Speaker 4: our lives. Oh God, help us to make the corrections
- 44:18Speaker 4: that need to be made. Help us to be that
- 44:20Speaker 4: city on the hill. Help us to be faithful leaders,
- 44:24Speaker 4: and help us, Father God, Lord, to seek your faith,
- 44:27Speaker 4: O God, in every situation of life, Lord, keep idols
- 44:32Speaker 4: out of our hearts. Lord, we return to our first love.
- 44:36Speaker 4: We want you to be the master passion. We want
- 44:38Speaker 4: you to be the reason we wake up in the
- 44:40Speaker 4: morning to praise you into fellowship and to be in
- 44:44Speaker 4: your presence. O God. We thank you, Lord. We ask
- 44:50Speaker 4: it you'll bless every person who is listening in Jesus' name. Amen,
- 44:56Speaker 4: and remember it's not about us, It's all about the Christ. Yes,
- 45:00Speaker 4: God bless show.
- 45:15Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 45:19Speaker 5: is the Hiss Hop Radio show
- 45:23Speaker 2: H
