Bronx Shooting Claims Life of 12-Year-Old | New York City News
A Bronx boy, 12-year-old Jacob Freytes, was fatally shot in broad daylight Saturday — an innocent bystander caught in crossfire. Two others were also wounded but are stable. Witnesses say shots rang out on Elliot Place, sending people fleeing and cars speeding. Community leaders are demanding an end to this violence, especially when it hits children.
