- 1:10Speaker 1: you haven't listened to this show this week? Yeah, A
- 1:13Speaker 1: bunch of the show this week.
- 1:15Speaker 2: J He was very pronounced.
- 1:18Speaker 6: We have a long, long relationship as good of him.
- 1:22Speaker 1: So, uh, we wanted to make this a hashtag you know,
- 1:25Speaker 1: major fitness challenge focused episodes, so we thought you'd be
- 1:28Speaker 1: the perfect guy. Uh, considering you've launched your Workhorse Fitness
- 1:32Speaker 1: and you know, you've been pretty dedicated to physical fitness
- 1:35Speaker 1: and staying in shape and dieting pretty much as long
- 1:38Speaker 1: as I've I've known you, so I'm assuming it's been
- 1:40Speaker 1: been a long long time. But we'll hear your story. So, uh,
- 1:44Speaker 1: that's the focus today, got it.
- 1:46Speaker 5: Yeah, Yeah, we're not gonna we're not asking any figure
- 1:49Speaker 5: questions today.
- 1:49Speaker 1: We don't care. We'll bring you back for that maybe.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Uh So let's let's kid right off with how did
- 1:54Speaker 1: Workhorse Fitness become, uh, you know, a brand and the
- 1:57Speaker 1: thing that you've launched.
- 2:00Speaker 2: So, actually, my friend Alex he he was kind of
- 2:02Speaker 2: like looking into different things and I don't know how
- 2:06Speaker 2: it all was. He was kind of like handling I
- 2:10Speaker 2: was doing some signings and appearances and he was kind
- 2:12Speaker 2: of like keeping track of everything for me. And during
- 2:15Speaker 2: that he got a lot of people hitting him up
- 2:18Speaker 2: about if I could promote the supplement, promote the supplement,
- 2:21Speaker 2: promote the supplement. And then he knew a guy locally
- 2:24Speaker 2: that ran his own supplement company and just went to
- 2:28Speaker 2: college and just sold it to like his college friends
- 2:30Speaker 2: and was doing decent with it. And then that guy
- 2:33Speaker 2: kind of gave him the information and then you know,
- 2:35Speaker 2: it's kind of snowballed into there was something that I
- 2:40Speaker 2: had a lot of interest in, but I didn't know
- 2:42Speaker 2: how to get started in any kind of thing like that,
- 2:44Speaker 2: or you know, I didn't put I had interest in it,
- 2:46Speaker 2: but I didn't really put a whole lot of thought
- 2:48Speaker 2: into it until it was kind of presented to me,
- 2:50Speaker 2: and then I was like, oh, this could actually be
- 2:51Speaker 2: kind of cool where I could kind of control. Like
- 2:55Speaker 2: he he found a distribution company and then they kind
- 2:58Speaker 2: of have these different tiers of like all their ingredients
- 3:01Speaker 2: like A, B and C.
- 3:02Speaker 6: And they were explaining to me that a lot of companies.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Use like C and just kind of the until you
- 3:10Speaker 2: make it.
- 3:11Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, the higher, the higher returns on using cheap ingredients.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:17Speaker 2: But I wanted to use all A ingredients and try
- 3:20Speaker 2: to make the best thing for me so that you
- 3:24Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. I want to use it for
- 3:25Speaker 2: myself so then I can present it to other people.
- 3:27Speaker 2: It's not something I just want to make that's kind
- 3:29Speaker 2: of garbage and give it to other people and don't.
- 3:31Speaker 5: I never used like that, thellan pudding and stuff like that.
- 3:36Speaker 5: So like I don't know, like just put a name
- 3:38Speaker 5: like I was gonna, Yeah the feed be more uh promotions,
- 3:42Speaker 5: business model or whatever the.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Fun that was called. Uh does he still have that?
- 3:46Speaker 1: He does? Yeah he does. Wow, Okay that the loan
- 3:48Speaker 1: pudding is gone. I love putting Tommy Dreamer you know
- 3:56Speaker 1: the fit you know, they just the poster boy for
- 3:59Speaker 1: Physical Fitness was talking about this in the locker room.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I was laughing. Remember those protein shots in the test tubes, bro,
- 4:05Speaker 1: what happened to those?
- 4:07Speaker 2: And they also had like the they would have big
- 4:09Speaker 2: glass bottles too that iso pure and it would just.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Like look like, uh, like kool aid or something.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I had a pretty strong and not so great aftertaste
- 4:19Speaker 2: because that was pretty decent.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Yeah, those test test tubes were like two years. They
- 4:23Speaker 1: were everywhere, we were taking them on the road, and
- 4:26Speaker 1: then they just disappeared.
- 4:28Speaker 5: I I thought it'd be great if you put like
- 4:30Speaker 5: protein in them and then like you went to like
- 4:32Speaker 5: the clubs like a chat girl and you're giving people
- 4:33Speaker 5: shots of alcohol and protein at the same time. Like that,
- 4:36Speaker 5: Like imagine being at the club and like at the bar,
- 4:39Speaker 5: but that protein and podcast.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Yeah, big, big old type idiots. Yeah, club like eight,
- 4:47Speaker 1: it's like seven o eight. That's like a mojo Raleigh. Uh,
- 4:51Speaker 1: you know, emphasized product.
- 4:52Speaker 2: That's just an excuse to keep drinking even more.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah, yah yeah yeah, just lie to yourself.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Oh my god. Yeah. So I actually, I mean I've
- 5:02Speaker 1: I've been taking the workhorse stuff obviously because we're friends
- 5:05Speaker 1: and you know, I wanted to support you, but then
- 5:06Speaker 1: I wound up actually like liking it, you know, the
- 5:08Speaker 1: BCAAs and stuff. The greens have likes I think every morning.
- 5:15Speaker 1: But I've been taking greens for years and it's always
- 5:17Speaker 1: like this, like I just went outside and licked my lawn,
- 5:20Speaker 1: you know, and it's just like so not fun. But
- 5:22Speaker 1: then you're or they're like chocolatey and to mask that,
- 5:26Speaker 1: and yours are fruity and pineapply, which I can make.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I can. I've been mixing with like everything, so it's great.
- 5:32Speaker 1: You know, it's like a change in my world because
- 5:34Speaker 1: it's like not a chore to take it down.
- 5:36Speaker 6: But the greens I can just dry scoop.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Oh my god. Wow.
- 5:40Speaker 5: Every morning I take the greens with apple cider vinegar
- 5:43Speaker 5: and like lemon juice with some water.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I mix it up and like it just tastes great,
- 5:48Speaker 1: you know, it's awesome.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yeah, again, that's credit to Alex and he was the
- 5:52Speaker 2: one that was like, hey, let's get on a Greens
- 5:54Speaker 2: thing and same thing.
- 5:56Speaker 6: Like, there's this company in Georgia. It's funny.
- 5:59Speaker 2: They're not in but their address is McDonough Road. It's
- 6:02Speaker 2: like somewhere in Georgia. But when I every time I said,
- 6:04Speaker 2: I was saying to beat South instantly, which I wasn't
- 6:07Speaker 2: there long, but it makes me think of that instantly.
- 6:09Speaker 2: But dude, these guys just have great and they supply
- 6:13Speaker 2: almost I'm not everybody a lot of a lot of
- 6:16Speaker 2: all the major retail like supplement stores, supplement company.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 6:24Speaker 1: My next question would be, so when did you start
- 6:26Speaker 1: like working out? Obviously, you know you want to be
- 6:29Speaker 1: a pro wrestler and you're growing up around Davy and
- 6:32Speaker 1: all these Jack dudes and Jim. Yeah, so it had
- 6:36Speaker 1: to be very impressionable on you, like probably way earlier
- 6:39Speaker 1: than me. I don't know what I didn't connect like
- 6:41Speaker 1: lifting weights in wrestling, like way later than I should
- 6:45Speaker 1: have to be honest with you, I don't know why
- 6:46Speaker 1: I didn't like.
- 6:47Speaker 2: So Teddy's dad Teddy's dad lived in it. Ted Teddy
- 6:50Speaker 2: lived in a gym. His dad owned a gym, and
- 6:53Speaker 2: he would tell us to work out all the time,
- 6:56Speaker 2: like when we were kids, like ever since I've been
- 6:57Speaker 2: like maybe twelve years old, he's like, you, guys, how
- 7:00Speaker 2: to workout, you have to least beak twentdre pounds.
- 7:02Speaker 6: You have to least bea twinder pounds.
- 7:03Speaker 2: He's always said that, And in my mind, I was like, eventually,
- 7:07Speaker 2: like you know you were saying, Like I was around
- 7:10Speaker 2: Davy and Jim and Bretton and Owen and all these guys,
- 7:13Speaker 2: and I just thought, like, eventually turn a certain age
- 7:15Speaker 2: and you just kind of get big.
- 7:17Speaker 1: That's what I think. That's what I was thinking. I
- 7:19Speaker 1: don't know, yeah, I.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Was like, eventual, I'll just get bigger and fill out.
- 7:22Speaker 6: And then I turned seventeen.
- 7:25Speaker 2: And I was like five foot four and I was
- 7:28Speaker 2: one hundred pounds, and I realized that, like, it doesn't
- 7:31Speaker 2: just happen that way.
- 7:32Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, and I really started.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I moved in with Teddy that final my twelfth grade
- 7:38Speaker 2: year and started working with his dad every morning before school.
- 7:42Speaker 2: And it was grueling at the time, but I graduated,
- 7:48Speaker 2: you know, not huge, but I also hit a growth
- 7:50Speaker 2: for it. It was both things kind of combined. But I graduated.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I was probably like five eight or something, but one
- 7:54Speaker 2: hundred and forty pounds I put on like forty percent
- 7:57Speaker 2: wow body mass.
- 7:58Speaker 1: That yeah, wow what I always pop when I see
- 8:02Speaker 1: like an old picture of you where you're like all
- 8:04Speaker 1: like super bloated or whatever. Yeah. Yeah, the whole milk, baby,
- 8:08Speaker 1: that was Is that Tokyo Joe telling me to eat
- 8:10Speaker 1: everything inside white rice and whole milk?
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Oh my god, dude. He made me. I ate
- 8:14Speaker 2: a few times, like literally util I puked literally and
- 8:17Speaker 2: finally one time he saw me do it, like I
- 8:19Speaker 2: had to pull over to red Bite and open the
- 8:21Speaker 2: door and puke and then he and he was like, oh,
- 8:24Speaker 2: like that time he saw it. He saw me go
- 8:25Speaker 2: to the bathroom and have to pukee before, Like I
- 8:28Speaker 2: remember picking him up to go eat and it was
- 8:30Speaker 2: like a steak and spaghetti dinner, potato skins and then
- 8:35Speaker 2: a medium pizza like and he's not eating. He might
- 8:38Speaker 2: have ate one piece of the pizza and he just
- 8:40Speaker 2: kind of drink him beer and I eat and he's
- 8:42Speaker 2: like it was all for me to get to two
- 8:44Speaker 2: twenty five, so I could be a small heavyweight but
- 8:47Speaker 2: a big junior headweight in Japan. And when I was
- 8:50Speaker 2: twenty two twenty three, everything was good. I could eat
- 8:53Speaker 2: five big Macs in a day. It was no problem.
- 8:55Speaker 2: But something the second.
- 8:56Speaker 6: I turned twenty four.
- 8:59Speaker 2: And switch slowed down, and that's when I was like,
- 9:02Speaker 2: oh my god, I have love handles. This is bad.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, you want to start a fielding questions
- 9:10Speaker 1: and I'm sure we'll kind of organically just get all
- 9:12Speaker 1: over the place with Yeah.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I mean, these are gonna go all over the place
- 9:15Speaker 3: because a lot of them are are very specific. But
- 9:18Speaker 3: I think that they'll help different people, so it'll be good.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Michael Lapuma says, I work overnights and a lot of
- 9:25Speaker 3: ot so I have always struggled with losing weight because
- 9:27Speaker 3: I eat when I get home and then go right
- 9:30Speaker 3: to sleep. Do you think if I switch to a
- 9:32Speaker 3: protein shake and then went to sleep it would help?
- 9:34Speaker 6: Thanks, bro, I mean for sure.
- 9:37Speaker 2: And also if you can limit like the amount of
- 9:40Speaker 2: car intake, especially late at night, because you're just gonna
- 9:42Speaker 2: go to sleep anyway. You're just those cars are just
- 9:45Speaker 2: kind of sitting there. It's like, how I see it.
- 9:50Speaker 2: It also depends. That's where like when it's a schedule
- 9:53Speaker 2: like that, I kind of find like intermitute fasting kind
- 9:56Speaker 2: of helps at that point, whether you like depending on
- 10:00Speaker 2: obviously your workouts, but maybe you finish your window before
- 10:04Speaker 2: work and then you know what I'm saying, Like, there's
- 10:06Speaker 2: different there's different ways to work around it. Obviously with
- 10:08Speaker 2: our schedules are all over the place. You know, sometimes
- 10:12Speaker 2: you're on the road, you're in Europe for ten days straight,
- 10:15Speaker 2: and so eating becomes a different thing.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Do you want to give like a dumbed down version
- 10:20Speaker 1: what intermittent fasting is for the major marks that don't know?
- 10:23Speaker 2: So the internet fasting is where you only eat for
- 10:28Speaker 2: certain like for eight hours in a day. There's an
- 10:30Speaker 2: eight hour window that's the most common way to do it,
- 10:33Speaker 2: and sixteen hours are fasting basically, and the fasting allows
- 10:37Speaker 2: your body to digest properly in your digestion system to
- 10:41Speaker 2: like be active for those sixteen hours. I've read a
- 10:44Speaker 2: bunch of studies, I've watched a bunch of videos. So
- 10:46Speaker 2: I think when you start eating, it's it's right away
- 10:49Speaker 2: your body slows down the digestion process because you're putting
- 10:51Speaker 2: food in. But when you don't have food in is
- 10:54Speaker 2: when the cycle keeps going, going, going, So then your
- 10:58Speaker 2: body starts breaking down and using keytnes as your energy,
- 11:03Speaker 2: and that then uses your fat sources in your body
- 11:08Speaker 2: as energy. Rather than taking in carbs and using those
- 11:12Speaker 2: carbs you just put in your body as energy, You're
- 11:14Speaker 2: using store fat. Is the idea.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I just said on the podcast. I started intermittent
- 11:20Speaker 1: fasting last weekend because I was like in between sets
- 11:24Speaker 1: in my gym and I was looking at that WrestleMania
- 11:26Speaker 1: plaque and I'm really lean Mania when Brosky and I
- 11:29Speaker 1: win the titles that I remember, I was intermittent fasting
- 11:31Speaker 1: and I was traveling with Ferg and I was getting
- 11:32Speaker 1: good workouts, and I was like, you know what, it's
- 11:34Speaker 1: been a long time. I gotta get after it. I
- 11:36Speaker 1: kind of made excuses, like, you know, when the kids
- 11:38Speaker 1: were little and I wake up with them and I
- 11:39Speaker 1: just want to have breakfast with them. But now I can.
- 11:42Speaker 1: It's just easier for me to be more disciplined. So
- 11:44Speaker 1: I'm going after it.
- 11:46Speaker 2: And Ray Gordy is the guy who first introduces to
- 11:50Speaker 2: me all of a sudden when he was slab Master J.
- 11:51Speaker 2: He just was insanely shreds.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Yeah, you guys want to look for a transformation, find
- 11:56Speaker 1: like two thousand and eight Jesse and then like oh
- 11:59Speaker 1: nine and slam Master J. It's like like one year.
- 12:02Speaker 2: It's not even not even a year later, but yes,
- 12:04Speaker 2: that was your timeline is exactly right, o A. Jesse
- 12:06Speaker 2: and nine slam Master J is unbelievable.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Man.
- 12:09Speaker 2: He was like still pretty thick, had these abs, even
- 12:12Speaker 2: looked crazy. H E being like what he was doing
- 12:15Speaker 2: and he said, oh man, heat only eight hours a
- 12:18Speaker 2: day or whatever, and he was like, you know how
- 12:20Speaker 2: intense story could be pretty funny, guys, ilieve we're arrested.
- 12:23Speaker 6: Him a bunch during that time.
- 12:24Speaker 2: So I was I could physically see like he had
- 12:27Speaker 2: energy in our match. It wasn't like he looked great,
- 12:29Speaker 2: but was like depleted, you know what I mean.
- 12:32Speaker 1: That I kind of didn't really believe in it or
- 12:35Speaker 1: get to understand it until when I came back to
- 12:38Speaker 1: w B and at the same time Carl Anderson and
- 12:41Speaker 1: Luke Alis did and uh, Carl in Japan was like
- 12:44Speaker 1: this beer got like buggy whip arm like nothing unimpressive physic,
- 12:48Speaker 1: no offense and then like he was like shredded. Yeah. Yeah,
- 12:52Speaker 1: I was like what happened? And then what really sparked
- 12:55Speaker 1: my curiosity is they came over and they were the
- 12:58Speaker 1: same dudes, just crushing beers and junk food, and I'm like,
- 13:01Speaker 1: what is going on here? And then he explained it window. Yeah,
- 13:04Speaker 1: you know, it's just like yeah, I just know if
- 13:06Speaker 1: I'm going to get after it like I am right now,
- 13:08Speaker 1: I just got to be disciplined and not eat until
- 13:10Speaker 1: that you know that ain't our window, and and stay
- 13:13Speaker 1: within it. So it really does work, but you got
- 13:16Speaker 1: to be disc disciplined and you've got to have some
- 13:18Speaker 1: kind of accountability.
- 13:19Speaker 6: So I agree.
- 13:22Speaker 1: All right.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Great, Eddie Bowman says, I'm on a fitness journey and
- 13:26Speaker 3: I want to know, is it true that you need
- 13:29Speaker 3: to focus on hitting weights or cardio or can you
- 13:32Speaker 3: do both?
- 13:34Speaker 2: I mean I believe you can do both. Like my
- 13:36Speaker 2: thing also is like when people are like I like
- 13:39Speaker 2: active recovery days. I don't generally like to take a
- 13:42Speaker 2: full day off. I'm just kind of wired a little
- 13:44Speaker 2: bit crazy like that. But I'm like my theory is like, well,
- 13:48Speaker 2: I mean, your body's designed, for example, to like walk
- 13:51Speaker 2: around every day. Your legs can carry your body weight
- 13:54Speaker 2: every single day. It's not like some days you just
- 13:56Speaker 2: like stay in bed because you're like, well I did
- 13:58Speaker 2: heavy legs yesterday, so out my legs, I can't do
- 14:01Speaker 2: anything today.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:02Speaker 2: So I always think you can do a little something
- 14:04Speaker 2: in that in that regard, But when it comes to
- 14:07Speaker 2: like cardio and waits, I think I don't think there's
- 14:10Speaker 2: a I don't think it's one or the other.
- 14:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I definitely think it's both too. And
- 14:15Speaker 5: I'm the same way TEJ. I can't not go to
- 14:17Speaker 5: the gym. So there's days where I'll go and I'll
- 14:19Speaker 5: just stretch to do like ebs caves and forearms or
- 14:23Speaker 5: bullshit stuff because I just can't.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I just can't not go. Guys, on the opposite, I
- 14:28Speaker 1: don't think I'd even work out if I would wasn't
- 14:30Speaker 1: a wrestler, Oh my god, I would just be a
- 14:33Speaker 1: pure civilian, not giving a.
- 14:35Speaker 5: Well, don't get me wrong, there are certainly I don't
- 14:37Speaker 5: think I ever wake up and say I want to
- 14:38Speaker 5: go to the gym today, But it's just been part
- 14:40Speaker 5: of my routine that it just it has to get done.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yeah, Like two Broski's point, like when I would go
- 14:45Speaker 2: to like a pub public gyms before the pandemic, like
- 14:47Speaker 2: same thing. I would go, even it was kind of
- 14:49Speaker 2: a nothing to even like a little bit of cardio
- 14:51Speaker 2: or just get a sweat and then just go sit
- 14:53Speaker 2: in the sauna, probably for longer than my cardio, just
- 14:55Speaker 2: to feel something.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I Actually, I always think of it. When I was training.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I read some kind of interview with Randy Orton where
- 15:04Speaker 1: he was like, even when I don't want to do
- 15:05Speaker 1: I just at least go and stretch or whatever, because
- 15:08Speaker 1: that's you know, good stuff, you know, good recovery and
- 15:10Speaker 1: good for your body. Anyway, Like I was not going
- 15:13Speaker 1: to go after and hit it hard, at least do
- 15:14Speaker 1: something like that.
- 15:15Speaker 5: I follow these weird like motivational like pages on Instagram,
- 15:19Speaker 5: and this would just happen to be about working out
- 15:20Speaker 5: that I saw today and it said for somebody who
- 15:23Speaker 5: has never gone to the gym before that he would
- 15:25Speaker 5: recommend just going for like five minutes at a time.
- 15:29Speaker 5: And you're like, why that doesn't do anything but just
- 15:31Speaker 5: to get the routine down of going to the gym.
- 15:34Speaker 5: And then once you get like that, that ingrained in
- 15:36Speaker 5: your brain, like Okay, I go to the gym and
- 15:38Speaker 5: then you start adding.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I mean it's such a psychological like fuck fest, but.
- 15:42Speaker 2: It's like routine.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Yeah, because it's hard to go from nothing to doing
- 15:48Speaker 5: what we do.
- 15:49Speaker 2: It's like, yeah, that's.
- 15:50Speaker 5: Why so many people quit and give up, because it's
- 15:53Speaker 5: such a change of lifestyle change.
- 15:54Speaker 1: It hurts your body.
- 15:55Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a shock. It's a shock at first.
- 16:00Speaker 2: It's a huge shot. Like when I was training with
- 16:02Speaker 2: Ted's dad those first I remember. I remember the.
- 16:05Speaker 6: Hell out we worked out.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Monday was chess. I remember going to the dungeon on Wednesday.
- 16:10Speaker 2: It was September, so it's nice weather. I remember being
- 16:13Speaker 2: out in the ring. I remember doing like backslides where
- 16:15Speaker 2: like he backed up the guy over and it was
- 16:17Speaker 2: two days later in my chest, my chest was so
- 16:20Speaker 2: tight and the.
- 16:21Speaker 6: Guy was flipping over.
- 16:22Speaker 2: He's bigger than me, these amateur wrestlers that were training
- 16:25Speaker 2: in the dungeon at the time, And like when I
- 16:26Speaker 2: did it, I felt like I ripped both texts like
- 16:29Speaker 2: like they I felt like they went flying off. I
- 16:31Speaker 2: was so tight and so sore, and I was like,
- 16:34Speaker 2: how do people work out and wrestled? There's no way,
- 16:36Speaker 2: And that you know, within a couple of weeks you
- 16:38Speaker 2: realize that dad intense soreness goes away.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, actually, yeah absolutely.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I came telling you how many times I've had like
- 16:47Speaker 1: a tough leg day and then i show up and I
- 16:48Speaker 1: have to wrestle, and I'm like this is impossible, and
- 16:50Speaker 1: then somehow I just do it. I don't know, yeah, you.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Know, yeah, yeah, I remember. I used to you know,
- 16:56Speaker 2: I didn't do squats for a very long time. I
- 16:58Speaker 2: just did my own I did free squats, but I
- 17:00Speaker 2: do wouldn't like free weight squats. They wouldn't do like
- 17:02Speaker 2: weighted squats. And I trained at seen As Gym one
- 17:05Speaker 2: day and it was all squats and he had this
- 17:08Speaker 2: he has this crazy leg press machine where you can
- 17:11Speaker 2: make it so it's like, uh, unilateral, it's not connected,
- 17:14Speaker 2: so like whoa. I just remember going on the road
- 17:18Speaker 2: two days later and my legs were like I couldn't
- 17:21Speaker 2: I could have moved them, And I was like, how
- 17:24Speaker 2: much that the rest of the USOS tonight, just like
- 17:27Speaker 2: you said, like something happens and everything works.
- 17:30Speaker 6: I think it's so hard to explain what wrestling really is.
- 17:33Speaker 1: It's so.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Okay. Marcus Avidia says, do you think less intensity cardio
- 17:40Speaker 3: is better for weight loss or high intensity cardio?
- 17:44Speaker 2: I think, well, I think you want to switch it up.
- 17:46Speaker 2: I don't think you want to do just one thing constantly.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I think your body, everyone's body is obviously different, but
- 17:52Speaker 2: I think your body's gonna adapt quickly, So I think
- 17:57Speaker 2: switching it up. Like I go back and forth, like
- 18:00Speaker 2: right now, split I'm doing. I do like some jump
- 18:03Speaker 2: rope or a salt fight between each each exercise.
- 18:08Speaker 3: How long?
- 18:09Speaker 2: Yeah, So, like I have this stupid three pound jump
- 18:15Speaker 2: rope that's really hard, especially the first few times to
- 18:17Speaker 2: use it. And I'll do like fifty or one hundred skips,
- 18:20Speaker 2: or I'll do like ten fifteen twenty calories on the assault,
- 18:25Speaker 2: like and just try just to kind of keep my
- 18:26Speaker 2: heart right up. But by new thing my my friend
- 18:29Speaker 2: got me for Christmas and I just pulled it out
- 18:31Speaker 2: the other day as the Oculus, and I was boxing
- 18:33Speaker 2: on there the other day and on my whoop it
- 18:36Speaker 2: said like it said it was a seven on like
- 18:40Speaker 2: the stress factor, which is like the same as my
- 18:43Speaker 2: regular workouts. I was boxing for twenty minutes on Oculus.
- 18:47Speaker 2: It was insane. And Maddy posted a video or whatever
- 18:50Speaker 2: on the Workhorse page. It look, you know, I'll just
- 18:52Speaker 2: punched in the air. But that thing's crazy. I was
- 18:55Speaker 2: fighting this ugly guy named Ugly Joe, and he was
- 18:57Speaker 2: in my face trying to punch my head.
- 19:00Speaker 6: And then well I was so blown up.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I was blow I tried it the night before my
- 19:03Speaker 2: nephews went to bed, and I was blown sky high.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Blown buddies with this phase like where we played racquetball
- 19:10Speaker 1: all the time, but you get blown the fuck up,
- 19:13Speaker 1: like sky high, blown up playing racketball trying not to lose.
- 19:18Speaker 1: It's almost like you trick yourself into that, like doing cardio,
- 19:21Speaker 1: you know. Yep.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Actually a little farther on that question. So you would
- 19:27Speaker 3: are you saying that you would do like a set
- 19:29Speaker 3: of ten or something and then do the bike or
- 19:33Speaker 3: you would do the full exercise.
- 19:34Speaker 2: I would do the full exercise then once I before
- 19:37Speaker 2: I switch to the next one, I'll do the cardio.
- 19:38Speaker 3: In between, okay, cool, And before.
- 19:41Speaker 2: What I used to do, it would do my full
- 19:42Speaker 2: workout and then go do say like twenty minutes on
- 19:45Speaker 2: the stare climber, thirty minutes on the stairclimb.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Okay, So then you'll switch that up. Yeah, okay, got
- 19:50Speaker 3: it cool.
- 19:51Speaker 5: I think everyone you know as the fire with works
- 19:53Speaker 5: best for them. Like some people do cardio before. I
- 19:55Speaker 5: could never do cardio before.
- 19:57Speaker 2: I need to like, have you ever tried it?
- 20:00Speaker 1: I don't like it. I don't like I don't like
- 20:02Speaker 1: being sweaty before I work out? Is that weird? Someone
- 20:05Speaker 1: also told me like a long time A would never
- 20:07Speaker 1: ever do that. But I don't know if that's true
- 20:08Speaker 1: or good advice or not, but it just stayed in
- 20:10Speaker 1: my head, like, never did it.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I've watched so many weird videos and I don't like
- 20:13Speaker 2: it's hard to say what maybe sticks in my head
- 20:15Speaker 2: on what does? And I've seen them where it's like,
- 20:16Speaker 2: don't do abs before you work out because it like
- 20:20Speaker 2: activates your core. And then like it was somebody this
- 20:24Speaker 2: guy did the thing where he did abs before doing
- 20:26Speaker 2: squats and it like brought his squat down because his
- 20:30Speaker 2: core was already like activated and kind of fatigued.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Got it? That makes sense? Actually? Okay.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Arcade Hunter says, if you were trying to get fit
- 20:41Speaker 3: but on a limited budget with no access to a gym,
- 20:43Speaker 3: what would you recommend to get started? Are there any
- 20:45Speaker 3: basic routines or absolutely necessary beginner's equipment.
- 20:50Speaker 2: I mean absolutely the easiest, and I would do this
- 20:52Speaker 2: in Japan in my hotel rooms and stuff all the time. Uhh.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I mean you can do Hindu squats, you can do
- 20:58Speaker 2: push ups and Hindu push ups.
- 21:01Speaker 6: You can YouTube all these that's all.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I mean.
- 21:03Speaker 6: I see an exercise that name on something, I U
- 21:05Speaker 6: and figure out.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Lunges and yeah, burpees.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Burpees and you know another one that Czarro will do
- 21:13Speaker 2: and he's like, yo, he's like trying to blow up.
- 21:14Speaker 2: He's like, do one hundred jumping jacks. It's like it
- 21:16Speaker 2: sounds easy, but when you're on, when it's like your
- 21:19Speaker 2: fifth set of them.
- 21:20Speaker 6: Yeah, it gets pretty tired for sure.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't I know that, like some people want it.
- 21:26Speaker 1: And this isn't to like blast anybody, but like, I
- 21:28Speaker 1: don't think the budget thing is a real excuse. I
- 21:31Speaker 1: think that's a cop out.
- 21:32Speaker 5: I don't think so either, because some of the healthiest
- 21:34Speaker 5: food is fucking cheap as fuck, Like a canatuna fish,
- 21:38Speaker 5: a potato rice that's guys, like, that's healthy as fuck.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Does it taste great? No, but it's healthy and it's cheap.
- 21:48Speaker 2: And two Broski's point earlier. Then it's a matter of
- 21:50Speaker 2: finding what works best for you. Like I mean, I'm
- 21:53Speaker 2: actually quite proud of it. At one point in developmental
- 21:55Speaker 2: I'm the lowest paid guy in WB, the lowest paid
- 21:58Speaker 2: person for sure, and off of work pizza. So they're
- 22:02Speaker 2: taking one hundred dollars out of my already the minimum
- 22:05Speaker 2: paycheck every week. Anyway, man, I was living off like
- 22:09Speaker 2: I would eat I remember at night, two cans of
- 22:11Speaker 2: tuna with some mustard every night.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Man.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I I can't eat tuna now, no problem, eat tune
- 22:19Speaker 2: out of a can, dude.
- 22:21Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm scarne.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I hate it. Two cans for like, I don't know,
- 22:25Speaker 2: maybe four or five years straight.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Damn. All right, Albert Jay Albany's I'm trying to lose
- 22:33Speaker 3: belly fat and tighten up my upper body. What are
- 22:35Speaker 3: the best home workouts to do if I can't get
- 22:38Speaker 3: to a gym? Are there certain pieces of equipment? So
- 22:41Speaker 3: similar question, but what about so for the belly fat?
- 22:44Speaker 2: So same thing. And I've seen this quote a lot,
- 22:46Speaker 2: and it's obviously you know, there is obviously truth to it,
- 22:49Speaker 2: and it says uh abs are made in the kitchen.
- 22:53Speaker 6: Yeah, it's it's about abs are about diet more.
- 22:57Speaker 2: So than obviously it's it's a muscle, same as any muscle,
- 23:00Speaker 2: and you can train it and make it more defined
- 23:03Speaker 2: or make it bigger, but you it's the thing that's
- 23:06Speaker 2: covering that muscle is the is the fat and the
- 23:08Speaker 2: muscle doesn't. It'll help burn it, but the real thing
- 23:11Speaker 2: that's going to help burn it is is your calorie
- 23:13Speaker 2: and take and your carb intake and kind of playing
- 23:16Speaker 2: with that. But obviously things like crunches and planks I
- 23:19Speaker 2: think are in terms of having no equipment.
- 23:22Speaker 6: I think you can't go wrong with like a plank.
- 23:24Speaker 1: And do you think that like age old thing like
- 23:26Speaker 1: you can't spot treat like fat, like yeah, you know
- 23:31Speaker 1: what I mean, Like people are like, oh I want
- 23:32Speaker 1: to not have love handles. There's no like thing you
- 23:34Speaker 1: can do besides like you know, and it's always like
- 23:37Speaker 1: the last to go, you know, kind of thing, the
- 23:40Speaker 1: thing that probably bothers you the most, you know of.
- 23:42Speaker 2: One hundred percent, I agree. I think it's just your
- 23:44Speaker 2: body just reacts that it's going to react. It's not
- 23:47Speaker 2: gonna I don't think you can spot train like to
- 23:50Speaker 2: burn fat.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Okay, carbon dot Joslin, what methods of cardio training would
- 23:57Speaker 3: you recommend for a young pro wrestler.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Young pro wrestler. Honestly, I'm gonna keep probably harpening the
- 24:04Speaker 2: same things, but like those free squats and jumping squats
- 24:07Speaker 2: helped me so much. I mean, like I remember at one
- 24:10Speaker 2: point I tried it for a year straighted in five
- 24:13Speaker 2: hundred squats every morning when I woke up for a
- 24:15Speaker 2: year straight. I did it for a year straight. And
- 24:17Speaker 2: it coincided with like me getting signed and going to
- 24:20Speaker 2: Deep South, And at some point when I was in
- 24:21Speaker 2: Deep South, like that was.
- 24:23Speaker 6: Like almost the tail end of that year, and then I.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Was like, Okay, I did this for a year. I'm good.
- 24:26Speaker 2: But I mean my cardio was insane in the ring.
- 24:32Speaker 2: And I think those squats and those jumping squats and
- 24:37Speaker 2: a wall sit where you sit against the wall with
- 24:39Speaker 2: your legs at a ninety degree angle proa.
- 24:41Speaker 1: I just did those today. Holy I do those every
- 24:43Speaker 1: day or every day I do legs. I do them. Yeah,
- 24:45Speaker 1: that's something like kind of low. It's tag just said.
- 24:47Speaker 1: That's something I was forced to do in amateur wrestling,
- 24:50Speaker 1: like so much that I fuck, you couldn't get me
- 24:52Speaker 1: to do that.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I get it. All the things that Japanese trainer
- 24:57Speaker 2: showed me that. He's like, look this how you make lightweight.
- 25:00Speaker 2: It's heavy. You exhaust yourself. Then then like, yeah, try
- 25:04Speaker 2: to try to do one hundred jumping squats when you're
- 25:05Speaker 2: already once you've done a two minute walls. It's very
- 25:07Speaker 2: arm Yeah.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I was making fun of Gallows little bird legs
- 25:11Speaker 1: this weekend and he said, well, I don't squat because
- 25:13Speaker 1: because the Deep South they'd five hundred a day for
- 25:15Speaker 1: two years. I just hate it so much. I can't
- 25:18Speaker 1: do it.
- 25:19Speaker 3: When you would do those five hundred squads, is like,
- 25:22Speaker 3: do you like, do you do forty and then break?
- 25:25Speaker 1: Or is just bro literally just five you black out,
- 25:30Speaker 1: just black out your legs. Broski would scream the lineage
- 25:33Speaker 1: of the WWF Championship out loud to try to distract himself. Yeah, Bro, seriously.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Brian's right. Your legs just go completely numb, and you're
- 25:42Speaker 2: like you're finally just like keeps doing this motion, but
- 25:45Speaker 2: you're like you're so your your legs go numb, and
- 25:47Speaker 2: then eventually your brain goes and you're just like doing
- 25:50Speaker 2: this motion and somebody's counting or you're counting and just
- 25:53Speaker 2: trying to like not think. I don't know, I try
- 25:55Speaker 2: not to think too much and just kind of blast
- 25:57Speaker 2: through it.
- 25:58Speaker 1: The pushing ups were even more impossible. I remember I
- 26:00Speaker 1: would just work on my facials and pretend like I
- 26:02Speaker 1: was trying because like my chest is just smoked out,
- 26:05Speaker 1: like done, like it's not happening, Like I can't man
- 26:09Speaker 1: man two hundred something stupid, like just to warm up,
- 26:13Speaker 1: just to warm up. Yeah, I do push ups in
- 26:16Speaker 1: my workouts. We would do sit ups where we would
- 26:18Speaker 1: do sit ups or a guy would get on all
- 26:20Speaker 1: fours and then the other guy would lock his legs
- 26:22Speaker 1: into his armpits and do him off his back. So
- 26:25Speaker 1: you have to like hold a brother like dying if
- 26:27Speaker 1: he's like your body weight or heavier.
- 26:29Speaker 2: And then world where everyone's bigger than me, like yeah,
- 26:32Speaker 2: the types of think like we would do the same
- 26:34Speaker 2: thing with my Japanese trainer, same kind of thing, and
- 26:37Speaker 2: I'm like.
- 26:39Speaker 6: I'm holding while Harry's doing these sit ups.
- 26:42Speaker 1: It's really really fair. I have to what are you talking.
- 26:49Speaker 2: About him dead? Uh?
- 26:52Speaker 3: Stephen Jones says, do any of you do d DP yoga?
- 26:56Speaker 3: If so, what do you think about it.
- 26:58Speaker 5: I've tried it a bunch at different times. I love
- 27:02Speaker 5: the ones that are more like just stretching the stuff
- 27:06Speaker 5: that's like the where you're doing the diamond cutter post
- 27:09Speaker 5: like that's not necessarily for me. I think it's a
- 27:11Speaker 5: great way to get introduced to fitness, if that's like,
- 27:14Speaker 5: if you're scared of.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Going to a gym, is a good.
- 27:16Speaker 5: Introductory or introduction, I think absolutely, because it's an app
- 27:21Speaker 5: and it's all app based and it's like very very
- 27:23Speaker 5: easy to follow and get and you back to that
- 27:26Speaker 5: like you don't need any equipment, man, I mean, you
- 27:29Speaker 5: don't even need the fucking matt.
- 27:30Speaker 1: You can do it at home on a rug. It's fine.
- 27:32Speaker 4: Uh.
- 27:32Speaker 1: My experience with yoga, I love it, and it does
- 27:35Speaker 1: make me. I think it's more for someone who's like
- 27:39Speaker 1: maybe injured or something, you know what I mean.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I think that's like where when I did it, I
- 27:43Speaker 2: did it with my knee injury.
- 27:44Speaker 1: I think there's been several wrestlers with like you know,
- 27:48Speaker 1: backs killing them or knees, and they do it and
- 27:50Speaker 1: that's a good way to kind of like ease you know,
- 27:52Speaker 1: back into real serious lifting. And my only caveat with
- 27:57Speaker 1: yoga is I just don't have the time for it
- 28:00Speaker 1: because I'm going to work out and do lift weights
- 28:02Speaker 1: to do cardio. I can't add another forty five minutes
- 28:05Speaker 1: of this, you know, I just don't have the time
- 28:08Speaker 1: of the day. And that's where I've kind of drifted
- 28:10Speaker 1: from it over the years. But I still have the
- 28:12Speaker 1: app and like if whatever, if I'm in a hotel
- 28:14Speaker 1: room or screwed or pressed for time, you know, ye,
- 28:17Speaker 1: or like or like Broskey said, want to get the
- 28:19Speaker 1: stretch in. You know, there's actually there's a couple like
- 28:22Speaker 1: like fifteen minute ones. They are just abs that are
- 28:25Speaker 1: like red hot core, really tough. Yeah yeah, pretty fucking tough. Yeah. Yeah.
- 28:30Speaker 1: So it has a lot of you know, multi I
- 28:34Speaker 1: would never say it's not not good. I would dope,
- 28:36Speaker 1: especially anyone who's just like kind of starting out on
- 28:38Speaker 1: a fitness journey. I would I almost recommend it.
- 28:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I think the results I was saying, the results
- 28:45Speaker 5: speak for itself for some of these like these incredible
- 28:48Speaker 5: transformations just from using the ddp ogre.
- 28:50Speaker 1: So it certainly does work.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Yeah, And like Jericho at one point had that back
- 28:54Speaker 2: injury where you know, he put a lot of credits
- 28:57Speaker 2: and he gave a lot of credits GDP for helping him.
- 29:00Speaker 2: And but small caveat like I was only deep Tail
- 29:02Speaker 2: for a month. But one of the one of the
- 29:04Speaker 2: practices which like I was up maybe twenty practices, one
- 29:07Speaker 2: of the yoga, Yeah.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Surreal DP is coming in today. We're doing what smoke?
- 29:16Speaker 1: I smoke, I smell room. The other thing I remember
- 29:21Speaker 1: that day is like Brad j of course was kissing
- 29:23Speaker 1: his ass and he's like, who wants to way with
- 29:24Speaker 1: the heart mine? And he's like and then he wore it.
- 29:27Speaker 1: We did the whole workout and it was like Zero's
- 29:28Speaker 1: ears like what are you dead? Pro this like like
- 29:32Speaker 1: didn't work or something, and Brad was embarrassed.
- 29:35Speaker 6: But Brad Jay you could tell is the guy that
- 29:36Speaker 6: has a low heart rate.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Just how he carries himself.
- 29:39Speaker 1: That's true.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I bet he has a super low rested heart rate.
- 29:42Speaker 6: He doesn't he doesn't feel like he gets too.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Oh you know.
- 29:47Speaker 3: All right. Stephen Thornton says, what is your go to
- 29:51Speaker 3: a healthy breakfast when you're at home? And how long
- 29:54Speaker 3: after waking up do you have your first meal?
- 29:57Speaker 6: So like I'm almost I'm kind of to squaff.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I don't really eat. I haven't had breakfast. Well, funny
- 30:02Speaker 2: I say that I did get some ki kis today
- 30:04Speaker 2: or some I just I had this crazy urge to
- 30:09Speaker 2: get to get a chicken feeda omelet. But generally I don't.
- 30:13Speaker 2: I don't eat breakfast. I don't. I usually don't eat.
- 30:14Speaker 1: To laugh, break train, I bought your breakfast last weekend.
- 30:18Speaker 2: That true? When when the uh when I room with
- 30:23Speaker 2: When I room with Brian, he coffee oat meal or
- 30:27Speaker 2: he orders coffee.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Egg white egg, white bites, some stuck.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like this is a lot of people say
- 30:34Speaker 2: road roadwife, but he's like the ultimate roadwife. He really
- 30:37Speaker 2: takes care of me on the road.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm currently not eating breakfast because of my uh
- 30:42Speaker 1: my fasting. But normally I would try to have like
- 30:44Speaker 1: a shake or like a shake with magic spoon or
- 30:49Speaker 1: some kind of like really really healthy cereal.
- 30:52Speaker 2: You know another interesting thing that I've read and I
- 30:56Speaker 2: do it here to this quite a bit, even without
- 30:58Speaker 2: thinking about it. But his wake up and drink a
- 31:01Speaker 2: bunch of room temperature water and starts the digestion process
- 31:06Speaker 2: without putting any calories in. It's supposed to be so
- 31:09Speaker 2: good for your health and good for digestion and good
- 31:11Speaker 2: for uh even fat loss.
- 31:15Speaker 1: So I'm the total opposite from both those guys.
- 31:18Speaker 5: I if I don't fucking eat breakfast, yeah, I'll kill somebody.
- 31:24Speaker 1: If I don't have two cups of coffee, I'll kill somebody.
- 31:26Speaker 1: I can I cannot eat. I gotta eat.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I can go so long without eating for some still,
- 31:32Speaker 2: but then once I eat, I have to eat all.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Like I have to eat a whole bunch in that
- 31:35Speaker 2: little span or what of course.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Wow, Actually I can get to two pm without even trying.
- 31:43Speaker 5: Way, I'll get very cranky if I don't get food
- 31:46Speaker 5: in like every two hours.
- 31:47Speaker 1: You know, we know.
- 31:49Speaker 3: I feel like I'm gonna pass out. Yeah, so you
- 31:51Speaker 3: sleep like eight hours and then you the first thing
- 31:53Speaker 3: you do is work out.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Well, I'm a big procrastinator, so like, and now gym
- 32:00Speaker 2: at my house. So my work up partner, my friend,
- 32:02Speaker 2: he'll come over and then I'll be playing video games
- 32:06Speaker 2: and be like, oh, I'll play one more quarter, and
- 32:08Speaker 2: then we'll go one more and then an.
- 32:10Speaker 6: Hour later we finally neandered to the gym.
- 32:12Speaker 2: But yeah, generally, yeah, I worked out, probably did like
- 32:19Speaker 2: a couple hours of waking up generally, right.
- 32:24Speaker 5: My routine, do I wake up have the greens, not
- 32:27Speaker 5: to plug TJ's greens, but it's I have the greens
- 32:29Speaker 5: with like apple cider vinegar and like a like a
- 32:32Speaker 5: lemon like pure organic lemon juice with water and that
- 32:35Speaker 5: I don't know that just I've read somewhere like that
- 32:38Speaker 5: concoction is like good for digestion and like that.
- 32:41Speaker 6: Sure, yeah, yeah, same thing, yep.
- 32:43Speaker 5: And then like the breakfast I've been having like recently,
- 32:46Speaker 5: it's like I'll have like two eggs, two whole eggs,
- 32:50Speaker 5: like cream of rice, not cream of wheat, which is
- 32:55Speaker 5: a big difference. Yeah, And there's like Bobby Rouge just
- 32:58Speaker 5: told me about this this company I'll put in the
- 33:01Speaker 5: Patreon like that makes a blueberry like cream of rice
- 33:04Speaker 5: or or peanut butter cream of rice. Like the flavoring
- 33:06Speaker 5: it's like unfucking believable because for a while I was
- 33:09Speaker 5: just having this cream of rice because I used to
- 33:11Speaker 5: do like just do oatmeal and I switched to the
- 33:12Speaker 5: cream of rice, and I'm like, oh this it would
- 33:15Speaker 5: take me forever to finish it because it was so
- 33:16Speaker 5: much and just it's like tasteless flavor but what is
- 33:21Speaker 5: cream of rice? It's I can't even describe it. It's
- 33:26Speaker 5: like it's cream of rice.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I don't know. It's thanks for thanks for clearing that
- 33:33Speaker 1: up man putting in a cream of rice in Amazon?
- 33:42Speaker 1: All right, rice anyway, So then it's gluten free, okay.
- 33:51Speaker 5: And then I'll also have a protein shake. So if
- 33:55Speaker 5: a protein shake the two eggs and the cream of rice.
- 33:58Speaker 5: So I am someone who was always trying to gain weight,
- 34:03Speaker 5: so I need a lot of carbs all the time.
- 34:07Speaker 6: Yeah, you have a fast metabolism, and like take cream
- 34:10Speaker 6: of rice.
- 34:11Speaker 1: On the road. There you go.
- 34:14Speaker 2: I feel like you've had a fast metabolism this whole time,
- 34:16Speaker 2: like I've known you.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's not like a good fast metabolism. It's
- 34:20Speaker 5: not like if I like Evan Bourne, Matt Sidel like
- 34:24Speaker 5: he's like ripped and shredded. Like if if I don't
- 34:27Speaker 5: eat my carbs, I'm just like very very skinny and flat.
- 34:30Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying. It's like a totally different thing.
- 34:32Speaker 5: So I need to be a car Like for me,
- 34:34Speaker 5: I just need to carve up like all fucking day.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Like I was there during the Hlacious Beef so out training,
- 34:39Speaker 2: But I always heard like, you know, oh.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Because like you even I and I dude, I hold weight.
- 34:47Speaker 1: But in that era, we were working out so hard
- 34:49Speaker 1: and so much, we didn't have diets, Like we just
- 34:51Speaker 1: ate whatever we wanted because it didn't it didn't matter,
- 34:53Speaker 1: it did not matter. Then he was eating ice cream
- 34:55Speaker 1: at night as much as he could before he went
- 34:57Speaker 1: to bed to try to keep weight on, and so yeah, brutal.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I couldn't imagine if it was like being tracked, you know,
- 35:03Speaker 1: like I'm a calorie somebody was losing a day. Oh yeah,
- 35:07Speaker 1: really nuts, especially in like the summer, like where it's
- 35:11Speaker 1: just like so.
- 35:12Speaker 2: That's all just about to ask bros living in Florida
- 35:14Speaker 2: in the summer, do you find like do you eat
- 35:16Speaker 2: any less or it's exactly the same. I feel like
- 35:18Speaker 2: it's so much less when it's hot out.
- 35:21Speaker 5: It's it's exactly the same for me because like I
- 35:23Speaker 5: just had like my routine where I try to get
- 35:26Speaker 5: six meals a day and two of those meals are
- 35:29Speaker 5: like once like a post workout shake. But even with that,
- 35:32Speaker 5: like I'll add like either oats or cereal to it,
- 35:35Speaker 5: and then like before bed, I'll have like just a
- 35:37Speaker 5: shake with no carbs, but maybe like I feel like
- 35:41Speaker 5: I didn't like get enough calories that day, I'll have
- 35:44Speaker 5: like a scoop of like almond butter or peanut butter
- 35:45Speaker 5: or something like that. And then like some days if
- 35:47Speaker 5: I totally like miss a meal because I'm so busy,
- 35:50Speaker 5: I make this concoction of a fucking shake, which I'm
- 35:52Speaker 5: sure goes way over any like calorie uh you know, countdown,
- 35:57Speaker 5: but I'll put like, oh, it's anything that I can
- 35:59Speaker 5: find it the fridge, yogurt.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I'm just all that I've led that sun up a
- 36:03Speaker 1: bit up.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I think probably because you still you go, You're
- 36:08Speaker 2: back at a public gym now, Yes, Like I still
- 36:11Speaker 2: use my garage. I love it, but in the summer,
- 36:13Speaker 2: for the last two summers, it gets hot, so I
- 36:15Speaker 2: feel like I get so hot in there that it
- 36:18Speaker 2: takes me a long time before I want to eat.
- 36:20Speaker 2: I'll have my post workout shake and I might go,
- 36:23Speaker 2: I might go a couple of hours before I even
- 36:24Speaker 2: eat anything.
- 36:25Speaker 6: I just like don't feel hungry at all, just.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Too like the heat and the exhaustion is just too
- 36:30Speaker 2: much at times.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Are you guys big? Like someone told me this when
- 36:34Speaker 1: I was like in high school working at that, Like
- 36:35Speaker 1: you have to have a shake after your work out
- 36:37Speaker 1: because your muscles need it. Are you? Do you guys
- 36:39Speaker 1: believe in that or subscribe to that? I believe in it.
- 36:42Speaker 2: I clip plopped the whole bunch. But I'm on the
- 36:44Speaker 2: right now. I'm on the wagon of yes, Okay.
- 36:47Speaker 5: I'm also a big like you gotta be drinking those
- 36:50Speaker 5: PCAs during your workout? Why I feel like you're just
- 36:56Speaker 5: fueling your whole body, Like.
- 36:57Speaker 1: During what about not post? Or? I take it? I
- 37:01Speaker 1: take it during Why do about you?
- 37:02Speaker 2: T J minor? All day? I put it in My
- 37:07Speaker 2: carries a gallon jug all the time and I have
- 37:09Speaker 2: been there at all times, so.
- 37:11Speaker 1: They have it after for whatever reason? Do you think
- 37:15Speaker 1: that's wrong?
- 37:15Speaker 3: Or no?
- 37:16Speaker 2: No, no, no, that works too. It's all like like all
- 37:20Speaker 2: this is all like each body is going to be
- 37:22Speaker 2: a little different and kind of take things different, but
- 37:24Speaker 2: it's definitely not wrong.
- 37:26Speaker 5: I also take those bc as if I'm like really hugover,
- 37:29Speaker 5: I'll make a huge shake with like a bunch of.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I've not I've noticed it different.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Anthony Diaz says, what is your favorite? Uh? What's your
- 37:42Speaker 3: go to cheat meal?
- 37:44Speaker 2: H on a cheap Oh wow, so I'm funny.
- 37:47Speaker 1: I don't.
- 37:48Speaker 6: I don't count sushi as a cheat me And.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Because you can eat clean sushi, really eat every day,
- 37:54Speaker 1: How is it a sheep?
- 37:55Speaker 5: Listen, you're not getting fucking shipped tempora and it's healthy.
- 37:59Speaker 1: It's not fr It was like spicy sauce on it,
- 38:03Speaker 1: the cream cheese and ship a.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Rainbow roll is rice and fish. And I mean everywhere
- 38:11Speaker 2: I lived in Calgary and they have super fresh sushi.
- 38:13Speaker 2: We don't have any water around us, like here in Florida,
- 38:16Speaker 2: the sushi is so fresh. Many public sushies even amazing.
- 38:19Speaker 5: Oh bro, I love public soush.
- 38:24Speaker 2: So if you don't include sushi, which I don't because
- 38:27Speaker 2: I don't go crazy, I don't like, you know, the
- 38:29Speaker 2: spicy man, I.
- 38:30Speaker 6: Don't do a lot of those roles.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Uh.
- 38:33Speaker 6: Pizza is my favorite cheat.
- 38:34Speaker 2: I think it's like he goes back to being a kid, Like,
- 38:37Speaker 2: how can you not love pizza?
- 38:39Speaker 1: Fuck? I love piz rules.
- 38:41Speaker 5: Yeah, mine would be like a good chicken palm with
- 38:45Speaker 5: like some spaghetti.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Like I'm like a savory guy over like a sweet sky.
- 38:50Speaker 1: I'm not big intech desserts and stuff like that.
- 38:53Speaker 2: I'm so weird. I feel like I'm equal both like
- 38:57Speaker 2: I love ships like I love catch of chips from
- 39:00Speaker 2: Canada and I but I but I love Uh, I'll
- 39:06Speaker 2: crush a bunch of oreoles at night too. I don't,
- 39:08Speaker 2: I don't. I don't have a preference.
- 39:10Speaker 6: Just that day, I feel like it's very equal for me.
- 39:13Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Maybe it's a maybe that's a curse.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I think Wendy's French Fries is maybe my most Okay.
- 39:22Speaker 1: I love a good like chicken cutlet, like hero or
- 39:24Speaker 1: something like.
- 39:26Speaker 2: I like every single thing I think on that McDonald's. Man,
- 39:29Speaker 2: I don't think it's that doesn't taste good.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Yeah, well, Gallows is a chicken parm.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Lights go out like lights go out? Oh my god,
- 39:45Speaker 1: it's where's where's Terry Brounk if you're watching it on Patriot?
- 39:53Speaker 1: The lights out? The running.
- 40:00Speaker 2: Somewhere?
- 40:05Speaker 1: All right?
- 40:05Speaker 3: What about we didn't really talk about this? What about
- 40:08Speaker 3: less time? You got less time to sneak in this workout?
- 40:11Speaker 3: This is Jack DeFranco asking, uh, what do you do
- 40:15Speaker 3: when you can't do like a full session? What would
- 40:17Speaker 3: you consider a full session? An hour?
- 40:21Speaker 7: I think that's too long even yeah, right now, my
- 40:24Speaker 7: news split when I work out with my partner, it's
- 40:27Speaker 7: it will be about an hour and a bit because
- 40:30Speaker 7: right now, the new one I got sent is that
- 40:32Speaker 7: I'm doing is a little bit more moderate to heavy weights.
- 40:36Speaker 2: For the last like two years, I've almost been doing
- 40:38Speaker 2: like a CrossFit style of very time workout and it's
- 40:42Speaker 2: just a matter of getting your heart right up for
- 40:43Speaker 2: a very specific amount of time and kind of getting
- 40:46Speaker 2: out and those workouts, Honestly, I would do them in
- 40:49Speaker 2: these hotels at the TV I'm sorry, these hotel gyms,
- 40:52Speaker 2: and I would get it. I could get I could
- 40:55Speaker 2: get them done in like twenty five minutes, thirty minutes
- 40:58Speaker 2: where it's just like go go, go, go go, or
- 41:01Speaker 2: you can you know, you can take a bunch. So like,
- 41:03Speaker 2: if I do that, I'm gonna do a little bit
- 41:04Speaker 2: lighter weight and I'm just like powering through this thing
- 41:09Speaker 2: very quickly. If I'm gonna if I have more time,
- 41:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna do a little bit more moderate weight and
- 41:14Speaker 2: take a little bit of time in between.
- 41:16Speaker 5: Okay, So yeah, I definitely think there's certainly times where
- 41:19Speaker 5: I'm rushed for something and I could get like if
- 41:21Speaker 5: I'm just doing one body part, or even if I
- 41:24Speaker 5: could get it done in like twenty five thirty minutes,
- 41:26Speaker 5: guess what, just don't check your phone in between sets.
- 41:28Speaker 1: That's stuliously dude. That's like, I think, the biggest modern
- 41:32Speaker 1: day problem and I'm the guiltiest. And last year, like
- 41:35Speaker 1: VSK and Mark had this trainer guy and I finally
- 41:37Speaker 1: met with him and I Toldally, I shut up totalh
- 41:39Speaker 1: that and then like he designed my workouts for I
- 41:43Speaker 1: can't do that. They're all timed, you know. So it's
- 41:45Speaker 1: made a big difference for me.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Yeah, Stoke dethletics, by the way, training a lot of
- 41:50Speaker 3: casters very lean right now.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of a lot of creative for guys
- 41:53Speaker 1: have kind of transferred a body with this guy, just
- 41:55Speaker 1: just by getting the knowledge and the information, and you know,
- 41:58Speaker 1: in solving simple things as that just procrastinating and you
- 42:02Speaker 1: you know, you mean to take a minute break in
- 42:05Speaker 1: between a set, and you look at your phone and
- 42:07Speaker 1: you look up next to these five minutes to pass it.
- 42:08Speaker 1: It feels like it happens the all the time. You know,
- 42:10Speaker 1: I'll be I'll be in an uber looking at my phone.
- 42:12Speaker 1: It's like, wait, I just took a forty minute uber,
- 42:14Speaker 1: you know like I do exactly.
- 42:16Speaker 3: Yeah, Jonathan Burgos, when did you find your love for fitness?
- 42:23Speaker 3: I guess we sort of talked about it. And then
- 42:26Speaker 3: have you ever thought about competing in a bodybuilding event?
- 42:31Speaker 1: Ah?
- 42:31Speaker 2: Man, I feel like competing in a bodybuilding event maybe
- 42:35Speaker 2: maybe when I get to fifty years old, so it's
- 42:37Speaker 2: maybe the competitions coming.
- 42:38Speaker 1: For Bob Cardona's crown. Oh wow.
- 42:43Speaker 2: But I feel like, like, I don't know, that's not
- 42:48Speaker 2: really my type of thing. Like I've had some people
- 42:52Speaker 2: say that to me, and like, I get it. I
- 42:53Speaker 2: get the competition part of it, and you're kind of
- 42:56Speaker 2: really competing against yourself and it's a matter of how
- 42:58Speaker 2: far you could push yourself into that realm is one
- 43:01Speaker 2: way of looking at it. I just I don't know
- 43:03Speaker 2: that I ever want to get like to that. I
- 43:08Speaker 2: don't know.
- 43:08Speaker 6: That's just it's not really something that's super up my alley.
- 43:11Speaker 2: I don't It's not something I sit and think about
- 43:13Speaker 2: competing or any kind of thing like that.
- 43:15Speaker 5: I've definitely thought about it before, but I I just
- 43:18Speaker 5: know how much work has to go into it, where
- 43:21Speaker 5: Like not that I don't want to work hard for it,
- 43:23Speaker 5: but I don't care.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Enough to work that hard for it. Does that makes sense?
- 43:26Speaker 2: Well, it's what so much little Like for example, if
- 43:30Speaker 2: if you're like at like eight percent body fat or something,
- 43:32Speaker 2: to try to get that down to like six is
- 43:34Speaker 2: going to take so much little intricate work like one
- 43:39Speaker 2: or two percent that like you're gonna notice. But there's
- 43:42Speaker 2: like the normal person, you know what I mean. You
- 43:44Speaker 2: might stand on stage and look a certain way for
- 43:46Speaker 2: forty minutes and then you don't look like that ever again,
- 43:49Speaker 2: and I don't know, it's not really.
- 43:53Speaker 5: No, I agree, and like that's that's like I I
- 43:55Speaker 5: for sure could dial in my diet and and you know,
- 44:00Speaker 5: I'm not necessarily trained harder, but you know, my if
- 44:04Speaker 5: I want to eat right now, taj, if I'm craving
- 44:06Speaker 5: fucking five guys right now, I'll fucking order it. But
- 44:08Speaker 5: I know, like the next day, I'll kick my fucking hat,
- 44:10Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying. But yeah, yeah, I know
- 44:12Speaker 5: I could definitely dial down my dye stuff like that,
- 44:14Speaker 5: but I don't want a physique that changes like throughout
- 44:20Speaker 5: the year, you know what I'm saying, Like, and I
- 44:21Speaker 5: understand like dialing in for wrestle Maine or something like that.
- 44:24Speaker 1: But I want to look good all year round. I
- 44:26Speaker 1: don't want to.
- 44:27Speaker 5: Look good like just once and then kind of like
- 44:29Speaker 5: what the fuck happened? He looked great two months ago.
- 44:32Speaker 2: And that's the thing with what we do.
- 44:35Speaker 1: You know.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Obviously I don't compete in the ring anymore, but it's
- 44:38Speaker 2: fifty two weeks a year.
- 44:39Speaker 1: There's no off season.
- 44:40Speaker 2: His bodybuilding is not fifty two weeks a year, like,
- 44:44Speaker 2: not even close.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Like those guys look like dog shit other parts of
- 44:48Speaker 1: the year.
- 44:48Speaker 5: They're like covered up, you know, like fully covered up,
- 44:51Speaker 5: like in the gym, wearing like triple xcel sweats, you know.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Like yep, it's like real thick. Then they lean out.
- 45:00Speaker 1: I also thing you should be said, you know, for
- 45:01Speaker 1: the common person listening to this, it's not like a
- 45:03Speaker 1: realistic expectation, like just because you're you know, you're working
- 45:08Speaker 1: out and worried about your die and stuff, you shouldn't
- 45:11Speaker 1: be thinking about that unless that's really what your goal is.
- 45:13Speaker 2: But yeah, no, no, And it's cool to have like
- 45:16Speaker 2: these long term goals, but like you're saying to the
- 45:18Speaker 2: regular everyday person, that might be that might seem so
- 45:21Speaker 2: unattainable and obviously all our goals probably are going to
- 45:25Speaker 2: seem like those types of things.
- 45:27Speaker 6: Our biggest goals are going to seem like that.
- 45:28Speaker 2: But like I remember looking at like and for me specifically,
- 45:33Speaker 2: I remember being in FCW. I think this happens to
- 45:37Speaker 2: everybody at some point. If you're in developmental long enough,
- 45:39Speaker 2: you get your mind starts to get played with a
- 45:41Speaker 2: little bit and you're wondering what do you have to
- 45:43Speaker 2: do to get that call up? And I remember there's
- 45:46Speaker 2: a point where all of us in FCW are like
- 45:48Speaker 2: kind of putting on weight, but it's not that great weight.
- 45:50Speaker 2: We're all just getting a little bit bigger, thinking is
- 45:52Speaker 2: this the thing everything? And like, okay, I know I'm
- 45:55Speaker 2: not big, but maybe I got to be two hundred pounds.
- 45:57Speaker 2: And I remember going and watching UFC and watching GS
- 46:01Speaker 2: and I was like, yo, I know he doesn't weigh
- 46:03Speaker 2: this in the fight, but yesterday at the way and
- 46:05Speaker 2: he weigh one hundred and seventy pounds and this guy's
- 46:08Speaker 2: in the main event tonight and he's like, he looks
- 46:10Speaker 2: incredible and he's he's kicking this guy's ass. I was like,
- 46:15Speaker 2: maybe I don't need to be twoudred pounds. Maybe I
- 46:17Speaker 2: need to start dialing more towards that look. As much
- 46:21Speaker 2: as I can get there is maybe what I need,
- 46:24Speaker 2: and it maybe the thing just happened to coincide, But
- 46:26Speaker 2: I did start to get leaner and I literally got
- 46:28Speaker 2: called up at almost the same time.
- 46:30Speaker 5: So yeah, and I definitely don't think you should be
- 46:32Speaker 5: focused on the actual weight on the scale because for instance,
- 46:37Speaker 5: like like TJ said, when I was in WW, I
- 46:39Speaker 5: think it's like two thousand and fourteen fifteen ish, I
- 46:43Speaker 5: just was, I'm like, fuck, I just went a weigh
- 46:44Speaker 5: two thirty and that's all I cared about was that
- 46:47Speaker 5: number on the scale. And I was drinking fucking whole
- 46:49Speaker 5: milk weight gainer blah blah blah. And you could go
- 46:53Speaker 5: on fucking Google right now. It's just having Zach Ryder fat.
- 46:56Speaker 5: There's a picture of me. Seriously, there's a picture of
- 46:59Speaker 5: the pick bro. It looks like I'm fucking It looks
- 47:02Speaker 5: like I've been fucking like all Japan in the eighties
- 47:05Speaker 5: or something like that.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Happens adjusting his waist.
- 47:11Speaker 5: I'm adjusting my waistbed and the rope is like covering
- 47:14Speaker 5: my lower pack.
- 47:17Speaker 1: You have a goate by which is getting brushed over.
- 47:24Speaker 5: It's a it's a horrible photo. But I was like,
- 47:28Speaker 5: you know what, fuck the scale even who is that?
- 47:35Speaker 5: Fuck the scale?
- 47:37Speaker 2: To be fair, that's also a picture taken an action.
- 47:41Speaker 1: No, yes, yes, I'm not posed, I'm not flexing.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Yes, like you don't actually look like I never remember
- 47:46Speaker 2: a time you actually look right right.
- 47:49Speaker 5: It's like the rope is covering my chest and looks
- 47:51Speaker 5: like I have no definition.
- 47:52Speaker 3: It's like you're breathing in all the way to the
- 47:55Speaker 3: top of your breath.
- 47:57Speaker 5: But that was like a point when I all I
- 47:59Speaker 5: cared about was that number, and like, like TJ said,
- 48:02Speaker 5: just like no, it matters like how you feel, how
- 48:04Speaker 5: you look, not the number.
- 48:06Speaker 1: And I think that's the number thing.
- 48:08Speaker 5: I think goes to weights as well, Like unless you
- 48:11Speaker 5: want to be a powerlifter, in my opinion, who the
- 48:14Speaker 5: fuck cares how much weight you're lifting, because, like TJ
- 48:17Speaker 5: said earlier too, your your body doesn't know what the
- 48:20Speaker 5: number on that fucking barbell says.
- 48:22Speaker 1: It knows how hard you're working.
- 48:24Speaker 5: So if you're doing a bunch of super sets and
- 48:26Speaker 5: you're and you're you know, doing controlled reps negatives, you
- 48:28Speaker 5: can make a fucking give me a fucking ten pound
- 48:31Speaker 5: double bell.
- 48:32Speaker 1: I can fucking have a killer fucking workout easily.
- 48:36Speaker 2: At the beginning of the pandemic, literally, that's what I had,
- 48:38Speaker 2: and I was able to have pretty awesome workouts, and
- 48:42Speaker 2: that's where I was like, Yo, I'm just going to
- 48:43Speaker 2: keep then, I, you know, built on my gym, built
- 48:46Speaker 2: on it. But I still kept that weird until recently.
- 48:49Speaker 2: I finally switched. But I was still doing like that
- 48:52Speaker 2: type of workout this whole time, this high intensity, get
- 48:55Speaker 2: in and get out.
- 48:59Speaker 3: Okay, open up the fat picture of Matt. Right, Matt,
- 49:05Speaker 3: I saw on Instagram that you were working with knees
- 49:07Speaker 3: over toes guy. Are you still following his program? If so,
- 49:11Speaker 3: have you seen any positive results? What other types of
- 49:13Speaker 3: recovery type programs do you guys work in?
- 49:17Speaker 5: So the knees over toes thing, it's someone I found
- 49:20Speaker 5: on Instagram. I have bad knees, so I've tried so
- 49:23Speaker 5: many different things. When I saw this on Instagram, like,
- 49:25Speaker 5: I had to give it a shot. A lot of things.
- 49:29Speaker 5: I don't follow his exact program. I don't necessarily agree
- 49:33Speaker 5: with following anyone's exact program.
- 49:35Speaker 1: I think we're all different.
- 49:36Speaker 5: We're all different I think you can pick up things
- 49:39Speaker 5: from certain people and kind of make your own thing
- 49:42Speaker 5: over time and learn through the years. But something I
- 49:45Speaker 5: did pick up from Knees overtoes guy is the walking
- 49:48Speaker 5: backwards is like really really good for your knees. So
- 49:51Speaker 5: like walking backwards, like if you have like a sled
- 49:54Speaker 5: in your gym, if you connect something, so you're like
- 49:55Speaker 5: walking backwards and pulling that sled, and your knees are
- 49:58Speaker 5: over your toes because you've been taught, you know, we've
- 50:00Speaker 5: been taught never have your knees over your toes when
- 50:02Speaker 5: you're squat And he's like, no, it's the opposite because
- 50:04Speaker 5: when you're like doing active stuff like whether you're wrestler,
- 50:06Speaker 5: playing basketball, football, like, your knees are always over your
- 50:09Speaker 5: toes and there's always weight and force, so you need
- 50:12Speaker 5: to train for that. And then you know, he also
- 50:14Speaker 5: taught me that, like my gym just so happened to
- 50:17Speaker 5: get turf and a sled like this past month. Beforehand,
- 50:20Speaker 5: he just told me, like, walk backwards on a treadmill
- 50:24Speaker 5: with the treadmill turned off, and it's it's tough.
- 50:28Speaker 1: I just heard he's called the dead mill. Yeah, the
- 50:33Speaker 1: dead mill.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Castor just told me about this he was doing.
- 50:35Speaker 1: I guess what he says is that like it forces
- 50:38Speaker 1: all this like ridiculous wount of blood to your knees.
- 50:41Speaker 1: So like if you have like knee problems or stuff
- 50:43Speaker 1: like that, they're almost getting like yeah.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Like at one point Nya was really into the knees
- 50:49Speaker 2: over toes or whatever. After her she came back in
- 50:53Speaker 2: the PC after us many are double A and so
- 50:57Speaker 2: she at one point was talking about just how great
- 50:59Speaker 2: her knees out and she follows his knees over toes
- 51:02Speaker 2: and she was talking about what a game changer it was, sure,
- 51:05Speaker 2: and well what you were saying earlier, Bro Steve remind
- 51:07Speaker 2: like you're right, like it's it's it made me think
- 51:11Speaker 2: it's exactly like wrestling. Like you don't you don't want
- 51:13Speaker 2: to go take everything this guy does. If you do,
- 51:15Speaker 2: you're just the clone of that guy or just fast
- 51:17Speaker 2: playing that guy. If you take one thing from him
- 51:19Speaker 2: and make it your thing, and take one from him,
- 51:21Speaker 2: one from him, same as same exactly as a workout,
- 51:23Speaker 2: retuse something you saw that guy do that guy, Okay,
- 51:26Speaker 2: that'll work for me or what you know, the same
- 51:28Speaker 2: exact kind of philosophy.
- 51:32Speaker 3: Let's let's there's a lot of questions about supplements, so
- 51:34Speaker 3: let's generally speak to somebody who doesn't take any and
- 51:40Speaker 3: might be wanting to sort of want, you know, wondering
- 51:43Speaker 3: what he should be taking or she gotcha.
- 51:46Speaker 2: So my my biggest like go to is like that
- 51:49Speaker 2: are probably like almost I would say necessary, especially if
- 51:55Speaker 2: you're going to work out anything from three to five, six,
- 51:59Speaker 2: seven times a week at the I think necessary. A
- 52:03Speaker 2: multi vitamin, some type of multivitamin.
- 52:06Speaker 6: And I'm big on fish oil.
- 52:09Speaker 2: I love fish oil.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Why fish oil?
- 52:12Speaker 2: Fish oil? Like you know, every so times when I
- 52:15Speaker 2: don't take it, I do notice the difference. I notice it,
- 52:17Speaker 2: and maybe it's mental and it's psychological, but I feel
- 52:21Speaker 2: like I can feel my.
- 52:21Speaker 6: Joints ache a little bit more or.
- 52:25Speaker 2: It's it's going to be pretty vain, but I don't
- 52:27Speaker 2: feel as lean or as vascular when but when I
- 52:30Speaker 2: take a lot of fish oil, I do feel a
- 52:33Speaker 2: lot leaner, a lot more vascular. So I do it again.
- 52:37Speaker 2: It could just be psychological, but I take I take
- 52:40Speaker 2: like four thousand milligrams of fish oil a day probably wow.
- 52:44Speaker 2: And I take a multi vitamin every day. And then
- 52:46Speaker 2: obviously you go further than that pre workout, and that's
- 52:51Speaker 2: a preference thing. Some people like different levels of it.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Some people like that pre workout that's going to make
- 52:57Speaker 2: your face tingle, and some people that freaks them out
- 52:59Speaker 2: and they don't like that at all.
- 53:02Speaker 6: So it's a matter of experimenting.
- 53:04Speaker 2: But then I would say pre workout in b C
- 53:06Speaker 2: as EAAs those kinds of things. Obviously, protein great.
- 53:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean to back up what TJ said, I
- 53:16Speaker 5: take a multi vitamin fish oil as well. It's funny
- 53:21Speaker 5: because I feel like when we first started working out,
- 53:23Speaker 5: like pre workout wasn't a thing, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 53:26Speaker 5: it wasn't.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Like no explode. No explode was the first thing.
- 53:30Speaker 2: Right, So it was like what Drew McIntyre showed me
- 53:32Speaker 2: that in England. He said, he you know, no.
- 53:36Speaker 3: One I have.
- 53:36Speaker 2: I've been around them for like five weeks straight. So
- 53:40Speaker 2: I deciphered his his language very easily. And this is
- 53:43Speaker 2: this is pre coming to America, Drew. This is he's
- 53:47Speaker 2: in England. Accent even crazier than that, like no explode.
- 53:53Speaker 1: If if you shook your shakers like the top of
- 53:56Speaker 1: bad Off Broski would do it once a week in
- 53:58Speaker 1: our apartment in deep set red no explode, which is
- 54:03Speaker 1: I'm like, dude, you know what's gonna happen.
- 54:05Speaker 2: I remember ordering some some weird uh brand. It had
- 54:09Speaker 2: a blue label, but it was like a Coca Cola
- 54:12Speaker 2: flavor pre work. I was not good. But the first
- 54:16Speaker 2: time I took it, the same thing exactly like and
- 54:19Speaker 2: I've already done this with an oldxplode where it explodes everywhere.
- 54:23Speaker 2: I had it in my car and I remember like
- 54:25Speaker 2: putting the water in and I shake it and then
- 54:27Speaker 2: just that lid. It's like all over my car.
- 54:31Speaker 5: What the fuck were we putting in our bodies that
- 54:33Speaker 5: it would explain? A shaker cup probably not good?
- 54:36Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 54:37Speaker 6: What was that?
- 54:38Speaker 2: And if if you had one that like was on
- 54:40Speaker 2: tight that you you would see it like I had
- 54:44Speaker 2: a cup where it wouldn't totally blow up and you
- 54:46Speaker 2: would see the top like bubble. You'd see it bubble, bubble, bubble,
- 54:49Speaker 2: almost like making popcorn, like old popcorn, and it looked
- 54:54Speaker 2: like that.
- 54:55Speaker 1: I'm in the weird position where like I pretty much
- 54:58Speaker 1: if I'm home, I work out at like a thirty
- 55:00Speaker 1: nine o'clock at night, so I'll trust me. I would
- 55:03Speaker 1: love to take some pre workout, but I just can't
- 55:04Speaker 1: because what am I gonna do? Be up and you're
- 55:06Speaker 1: going to be Yeah, so I just kind of got
- 55:09Speaker 1: to eat it. Sometimes it just kind of sucks. But
- 55:11Speaker 1: I'm also just not a morning person, so I don't
- 55:13Speaker 1: get it done there and then I'm watching the kids
- 55:14Speaker 1: and there's really no way out.
- 55:16Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 55:19Speaker 1: So it's tough.
- 55:21Speaker 3: Okay, let's talk about Eric Fantick and a couple other
- 55:25Speaker 3: people are sort of asking about fitness trackers. Do you
- 55:29Speaker 3: use any apps or do you have like an Apple
- 55:31Speaker 3: Watch or anything like that.
- 55:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I have a whoop Oh okay.
- 55:36Speaker 2: I got it last year for Christmas, life had it
- 55:39Speaker 2: over a year and now I love it. At tracks
- 55:40Speaker 2: my sleep, which is like for my whole life, I've
- 55:43Speaker 2: been a really bad sleeper. I'm getting much better at.
- 55:46Speaker 3: It because of this thing.
- 55:49Speaker 2: I mean maybe because I'm able to at least track
- 55:52Speaker 2: what my sleep is. So I'm like, I'm very cognizant
- 55:55Speaker 2: of how much deep sleep I'm getting at night, how
- 55:58Speaker 2: much rem sleep, how much just how much sleep in total?
- 56:01Speaker 2: What does it say my recovery? As we like, if
- 56:04Speaker 2: this thing tracks so much stuff, my resting heart rate,
- 56:07Speaker 2: how many breaths I'm taking a minute during them when
- 56:09Speaker 2: I'm sleeping. Oh wow, it's yeah, it's intense.
- 56:13Speaker 1: How does that work? I have no clue.
- 56:15Speaker 2: And then it like you just wear it on your
- 56:17Speaker 2: wrist and like it looks yeah, it looks like nothing.
- 56:20Speaker 2: It's really light. You can just wear it. Doesn't bother
- 56:22Speaker 2: me that I can sleep with it on. It's no problem.
- 56:26Speaker 5: I I just got an Apple Watch, but I haven't
- 56:31Speaker 5: like set it up like that, so I'm interested to
- 56:33Speaker 5: say I wanted it for like the sleep stuff. Just
- 56:36Speaker 5: I was interested in that as well, because I don't
- 56:38Speaker 5: sleep the best either, so I don't I'd like to
- 56:40Speaker 5: be more you know, aware of what's.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Going on when I'm sleeping.
- 56:45Speaker 6: Absolutely.
- 56:46Speaker 1: And as for like tracking, like.
- 56:50Speaker 5: I've got through so many phases working out where I'm
- 56:52Speaker 5: like tracking my workouts, whether it be in an old
- 56:54Speaker 5: school like fucking notebook or or like that, or certain apps.
- 56:59Speaker 5: Right now, I'm in the face is where I just
- 57:00Speaker 5: want to go in and just like do whatever I want.
- 57:03Speaker 2: To do in the gym, and then I've been there,
- 57:06Speaker 2: been there.
- 57:07Speaker 5: And then you know, in a couple of months, I no,
- 57:08Speaker 5: I need structure and I'll follow something and I'll like,
- 57:10Speaker 5: fuck this, I want to do what I want to do.
- 57:12Speaker 5: And that's just how it is because.
- 57:14Speaker 2: That's what keeps that's what keeps the gym fresh right
- 57:17Speaker 2: exactly from from you walking in and just like the spot,
- 57:20Speaker 2: if it's exactly routine like for years straight, you're just
- 57:23Speaker 2: gonna walk in and just like walk through it without
- 57:25Speaker 2: thinking twice and just get out of it, right.
- 57:28Speaker 5: And you know we've all been working out for probably
- 57:31Speaker 5: close to twenty years now, you know, so you got
- 57:34Speaker 5: to switch it up.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Wait to quit with no end in sight? Man, God
- 57:39Speaker 1: damn it.
- 57:41Speaker 2: No.
- 57:41Speaker 1: I see guys like you know, Dusted and Jericho, and
- 57:44Speaker 1: I'm just like, God, damn, these guys are gonna go
- 57:46Speaker 1: at their age. I can do it too. So yep,
- 57:48Speaker 1: it's inspiring. But you know, you take care of yourself,
- 57:51Speaker 1: you know. I mean, father Father time' is gonna get everybody.
- 57:55Speaker 2: But you know that's why I like working out with
- 57:57Speaker 2: with this this guy that I'm this kid that I'm
- 58:00Speaker 2: out of the Chymney's like twenty three. So he wants
- 58:02Speaker 2: to he wants to go hard every day and I
- 58:06Speaker 2: can't go hard everyday. I'm forty one now, but I can.
- 58:09Speaker 2: I can fake some things and tone some things back,
- 58:14Speaker 2: and you know, we get a great workout, but it's
- 58:17Speaker 2: like he definitely pushes me.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's pretty weird.
- 58:20Speaker 5: Like now almost thirty seven, I feel better now with
- 58:25Speaker 5: my body and in the gym than I did ten
- 58:27Speaker 5: years ago because I'm taking care of myself better, whether
- 58:30Speaker 5: it be recovery like stretching or you know, actually warming
- 58:34Speaker 5: up properly as supposed to just going in and just
- 58:37Speaker 5: fucking grabbing fucking dumbbells. You know, So you gotta have
- 58:42Speaker 5: some sort of like active recovery. And my problem was
- 58:45Speaker 5: I would kind of wait till something was bothering me
- 58:47Speaker 5: before I would get a massage or go to the
- 58:49Speaker 5: cairo or stretch. You gotta be like ahead of the
- 58:52Speaker 5: curve and not You don't necessarily have to be just
- 58:55Speaker 5: an athlete or a wrestler, because guess what, if you're
- 58:57Speaker 5: working out, you're gonna pull something or strain something or
- 59:01Speaker 5: probably you know, you could tear something.
- 59:02Speaker 1: Fuck. I mean, it's all possible, but you got to
- 59:05Speaker 1: be proactive and not like reactive in that I did
- 59:09Speaker 1: a van Terminator an impact. It's Gonnair this week I
- 59:11Speaker 1: swear I partially tore my hamstring. It's like still it's
- 59:15Speaker 1: been weeks.
- 59:16Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, last question, then we can close this out.
- 59:21Speaker 3: We've talked about this kind of before, but maybe I'll
- 59:23Speaker 3: get your take. How about some tips Dennis Fletcher? Uh,
- 59:28Speaker 3: for when you're on on the road. I mean, obviously
- 59:31Speaker 3: it's a lot easier when you have like a meal
- 59:32Speaker 3: prep at home, or you have your your food and
- 59:35Speaker 3: the you know fridge that you're used to, but you're
- 59:38Speaker 3: on the road for a couple of days or whatever.
- 59:40Speaker 3: What what are you? What's your go to?
- 59:42Speaker 2: So? I mean I don't but I once I guess
- 59:45Speaker 2: what I think the back once while I have brought
- 59:47Speaker 2: my heat right on the road with me, but a
- 59:48Speaker 2: lot of times I just kind of leave it.
- 59:50Speaker 6: At home and I'll on the road.
- 59:54Speaker 4: Uh.
- 59:55Speaker 6: Uber eats.
- 59:56Speaker 2: Uber eats has changed a lot of a lot of things.
- 59:58Speaker 2: I think, like it used to be before, Like delivery
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: wasn't a thing in terms of you you can get pizza.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Deliver pizza, that's it. Yeah. Yeah, remember checking into hotels
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: and they give you like the paper, many of the
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: local like just crap exactly.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: So I feel like obviously that has something like Uber
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Eats has made it where you can eat a lot
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: healthier on the road, and just the explosion of like
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: all these different smoothie places, offsite bowl like.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Those, even like just Dude, seven eleven has an unreal
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: like protein bar selection for sure, you know what I mean,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: The even shakes in the frase like there's there, options
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: are there?
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: You know, the options are definitely there.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: I go to seven eleven has been bananas. Yeah, yes.
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: My go to when it comes to fast food is
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: Wendy's because I will get uh two chicken sandwiches and
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: just eat the chicken breast off.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: But they have baked potatoes, So I love doing that.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: I love doing that. I'd rather a real fucking meal,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: but I'd rather that over I was. I'm sure we
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: all been there.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: Like oh if I just eat McDonald's and just eat
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: the burger and no butt, like, that's fucking like hell.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I used to live off that desperation ship.
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: I mean I used to live oh yeah, being healthy
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: because I eat the burgers and no buds, just brotea.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: I think my final year on the road as a talent,
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: I was doing after the shows wore mcdoubles.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: Just eat the meat, meat.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Meat, And I don't I don't usually like onions, but
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: I do because whatever they are, little candies or whatever
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: they are, the little onions.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, best onions in the world. Yeah, I know what.
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: There's some there's something else.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: But if I like, if I'm just fully tapped, I'll
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: just get junior baked cheeseburgers. I get like eight of
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: them and just keep throwing the buns way and eating
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: the like meat like a taco, just to like whatever.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Remember like Abraham Washington talking about Keto, and I remember
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: he said he told me he would order a pizza
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: and just eat the cheese and the meat and.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: A big show do that a lot when he when
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: big Shots came back and dropped all that weight for
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: may whether he was Keto, and like that's the first
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: time I kind of got like kind of familiar with
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: all that stuff. And I don't know. Bruscar memories. This
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: one time he like finally broke on like a tour
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: and he was sitting there in like a bowl of
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: rice and he just broke out this like sweat, like
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: the craziest face sweat because his body was just like
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: getting all these cars of overs, I was like, oh shit,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: this should worked or there's something to it, you know.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Ship Yeah, all right, well I think I think a
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: lot of that stuff. But I think we should wrap
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: this up by saying like it's just like you know,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: being focused and accountability and like, you know, just you're
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: gonna have your good days your bad days. I know,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: like if I miss a workout, I feel like shitty
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: about myself. So like if I get that workout, and
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: it's just it's good for like my mental health too
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: kind of thing, you know, and my.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Moving forward, right, And it's all consistency, just like you said,
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: No one's going to be one hundred percent. I don't
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: work out every single day. I've missed workouts obviously, it's
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: like you said that it sucks, and I'm just like, okay, tomorrow,
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna make sure I train hard and I do.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: And like you said, it's all accountability and it's all
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: trial and error. No one, you're not gonna just walk
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: into a gym and figure this out in your first
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: time going Like what like Broski said earlier, that little
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: five minute thing is actually a pretty cool idea in
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: terms of like you know, getting adjusted and adapting because
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: it's gonna be a.
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: Lot of trial and error.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: You're gonna try something that you saw work for some
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: guy in a video and it doesn't work for you.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: But how can you how can you hit that same
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: body part that guy was hitting but it's not quite
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: working on that exercise and you gotta again it. You
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: just say, it's just experimenting.
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: Yeah, and you know we're we've all been going to
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: the gym for decades and we're still picking things up
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: and changing things up and learning. So don't expect to
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: just walk into a gym and fucking walk out as
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: mister Olympia. It's not gonna happen.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: Literally, you walk in James Ellsworth and come out Chris Masters.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: That's how well.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: You know guy through that? Really?
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Yes, he actually he's one of the guys. Explained it
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: to me pretty good.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: And he had like he had like he always had
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: like oil on him.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Yeah, you get more macademia, like if you are you know,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: you really need all that fat.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: It's crazy and in my mind, in my mind for
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: some I remember being on tour and it was one
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: of those where I'm like, oh, yeah, I'm an idiot,
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: But in my mind carbs. He didn't like in that
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: being in katosis, the carbs from fruits for some reason
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: in my brain didn't count.
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: So I remember I want to on the bus to
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: grab a bit.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Yeah, count big time. Yeah.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: I remember grabbing a banana and mass like you kid,
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: you want to do that? Man, you're gonna break out
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: of katosis? What? And then like broke it up. I left,
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: My dad left the banana, walked back to my seat. Well,
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: Master's lectured me in a friendly way.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Like today today, I was just doing squats that I
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: saw a video where you put a plate on the
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: ground and you put one leg on and so it's
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: like a sem trickle and you do squats and you
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: switch the other side it's supposed to. I tried it
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: today for the very first time, to Brosky point of
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: we've been working out for decades and like I literally
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: tried something brand new for the very first time today.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, marketized trainer saying I have to look it
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: up all the time. It's kind of interesting, you know today.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: But I like it though, because if it's if it's
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: like I said, if it's the same ship, you become
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: very unfocused and unmotivated. So it's good, very autopilot. Yeah yeah,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Uh Tea, let's plug Workhorse Fitness. Uh website, supplements, everything you.
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: Got workhorse Fitness dot com.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: Uh at workhorse Fitness on on Instagram. Uh, right now
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: we have we're working on a lot. Uh, we're bringing
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: trying to get a lot more clothes actually with the
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: pandemic and with like I mean obviously I know, I
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: know you guys know, but the shipping costs have gone crazy. Yeah,
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: so like so ship ship shipping two pound protein pub
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Like maybe it's calmed down a little bit now, but
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: within like the past year, it would cost more to
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: ship it than it costs to buy it.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Like so it's like, but the clothes, the clothes, like
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: the shirts have been great. We're working on some sweatpants
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: and things like that, and maybe not like a total shift,
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: but I think go a little bit more towards pushing
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: some clothes out. And then uh, and we have the
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: fat burners, which are by far our best seller. The
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: fat burners do amazing.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: Yeah, we didn't touch on that. I actually take the
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: fat burners and I've taken i think every fat burner
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: known to man and I like these because it's not
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: like nothing, and it's not one that's going to make
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: you like a maniac. It's a great right there.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: I think, yeah, fat burners. At one point in FCW
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: that like you got really jittery, and I mean it
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: really did curb your appetite. But I remember being there
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: was the first time. I like, I never crashed off
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: supplements before, but that these fat burners I was taking.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: At one point I was like, oh, this crash is real,
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Like every afternoon I need to take.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: A nap, justin Gabriel gave me when I passed out
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: after a match one time. It was so from freaking
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: South Africa or something, but jesus, uh, someone else. You
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: got the fat burners, the b C A as, the
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: green greens.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: The protein and pre workout nice and then like yeah,
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: like I said, well, working on a bunch of different clothes,
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: different hoodies, sweatpants, so just trying to actually come up
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: with a whole bunch of assortment of clothes. I think
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: those those do really well.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys agree with, but I
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: kind of feel like that's part of working at too, like,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: especially if you go to a public gym there's something
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: about like the way you look and feeling confident. I
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: don't know, but your confidence and.
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: Oh you mean a sick ass nWo cut off with
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: rock socks to my knees.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Hell yeah, I don't know. There's something about it, like
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: the like look good, feel good, play good kind of mentality.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: I agree.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: If you.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: If you, for example, if you come to the building
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: for TV and you know that you're you're in good shape,
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: you've been like dialed in, you feel good. You know
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: that like whatever match you have that day, you you're
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: not worried about your physique in that moment. You know
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: that's taken care of. You know what I mean?
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Well, come man, this is fun. I hope this helped
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: a lot of people. About to do another one soon
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: for sure. No, thank you, hell yeah, thanks man, The
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Stampy Kid, t J. Wilson, thank you man. Thanks you guys.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: Day stand stand Stand Stan
