Many of you have acknowledged how much of a struggle it is to get Speech Therapy services - either enough or at all. Today, I will address what is going on in speech pathology, how this impacts you, and what you can do to help your kids.

According to the National Institute of Health, 40% of our children ages 3-10 are struggling to develop good communication skills. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the job opening projected for SLPs is 19% over the next decade. The shortage of Speech Language Pathologists has been around for years and has no end in sight.
