  God's word in your life. So, let's

  huddle up and hear today's play from

  Zephaniah 1 says, "I will sweep away
• 0:13
  everything from the face of the earth,
• 0:15
  declares the Lord. I will sweep away
• 0:18
  both man and beast. I will sweep away
• 0:20
  the birds in the sky and the fish in the
• 0:22
  sea and the idols that cause the wicked
• 0:25
  to stumble. When I destroy all mankind
• 0:28
  on the face of the earth, declares the
• 0:30
  Lord, neither their silver nor their
• 0:33
  gold will be able to save them on the
• 0:35
  day of the Lord's wrath. In the fire of
• 0:37
  his jealousy, the whole earth will be
• 0:40
  consumed. For he will make a sudden end
• 0:42
  of all who live on the earth. Men, let's
• 0:45
  get straight to it. This world will not
• 0:48
  last. That's not an opinion. That's a
• 0:50
  promise. God says it plainly through the
• 0:53
  prophet Zephaniah. If the scripture uh
• 0:56
  is true, and it is, then the end of the
• 0:59
  world is certain. No economy survives
• 1:02
  it. No power, structure outlasts it. No
• 1:04
  amount of money, strength, or influence
• 1:07
  can shield a man from it. And that's not
• 1:09
  bad news. That's mercy. God warns
• 1:12
  because God saves. The world's broken.
• 1:15
  Not because God failed, but because we
• 1:17
  rebelled against our good creator. And
• 1:20
  yet, instead of wiping us out
• 1:22
  immediately, God sustains us. Why?
• 1:26
  Because he is restoring a people for
• 1:28
  himself. God promises a new earth. One
• 1:30
  where Jesus reigns forever. Justice
• 1:33
  never ends. Life never ends. Hope, joy,
• 1:37
  peace, love, and abundance are
• 1:40
  overwhelming and unending. Life finally
• 1:44
  becomes what it was meant to be from the
• 1:46
  very beginning. But only those who love
• 1:48
  God here will live with God there.
• 1:51
  That's life right now. Right now is the
• 1:54
  invitation to that life. This is the
• 1:56
  reason we need to repent. It's the
• 1:59
  season of repentance to recognize the
• 2:02
  brokenness in ourselves in the world to
• 2:04
  turn to God for pardon, reconciliation,
• 2:07
  and restoration. So what must we do? We
• 2:10
  must come to Jesus, believe him, receive
• 2:13
  him, repent before him, and begin to
• 2:15
  obey him. Jesus has done everything for
• 2:18
  our restoration. His perfect life is
• 2:20
  credited to those who ask. His perfect
• 2:23
  sacrifice covers our rebellion, past,
• 2:26
  present, and future. When we repent and
• 2:28
  believe that he loved us enough to die
• 2:31
  for us, then that happens. Our obedience
• 2:34
  doesn't earn our salvation, but it
• 2:35
  proves our gratitude. It demonstrates
• 2:38
  our love and it reveals the hope of
• 2:40
  God's future being already alive in us.
• 2:44
  The world ends and a new world awaits
• 2:46
  and only some will live with God. Run
• 2:49
  today's play. Audit what you're
• 2:51
  building. Ask yourself, would this
• 2:54
  survive the fire of Zephaniah 1? Repent
• 2:57
  where your priorities have drifted.

  Realign your purpose with eternity. Obey

  Jesus where his will is already clear.

  Live like a man who knows the world is
• 3:07
  ending and who is fully invested in the
• 3:10
  one to come. Because when everything
• 3:12
  burns, only what's built on Christ will
• 3:15
