- 0:00We interrupt this incredibly awesome music to bring you some incredibly awesome political
- 0:06talk on DAM Radio.
- 0:10Hello, good evening, welcome.
- 0:14I am Samuel Trapp, this is International Flavor, you are listening to DAM Radio.
- 0:22And here I am, I'm coming to you live from Florida today, and I'm really not feeling well.
- 0:30I feel even worse than I did yesterday, but there's so much stuff going on, there's no way I can just avoid it.
- 0:39Do you remember last night? Anyway, if you feel like calling in tonight, please do.
- 0:43That would be at 573-746-8020.
- 0:51And I would be pleased to take your call and chat with you about whatever you wish to talk about.
- 1:04But my head is booming, and let's hope that I can keep a coherent stream of thought going there.
- 1:13That would be very nice.
- 1:15But I wanted to start with, well, I wanted to continue with where we were last night.
- 1:21So there's still this daily or continuous update around this Trump peace plan and all of the stuff that's going on with it.
- 1:32And people are still coming unglued on this, and there's been a lot of news on it today.
- 1:39There's been a lot of stupidity on it too.
- 1:43And remember, I told you last night that two minutes after the New Day began on the 25th, the Washington Post was reporting a few things.
- 2:02And European Council President Antonio Costa said that the EU has to play an active role.
- 2:08He said – here's his quote.
- 2:13His quote was, it's clear that the issues that concern the EU, such as sanctions, enlargement, or assets – he's talking about the Russian money – require the full involvement and decision by the EU.
- 2:27Now, why?
- 2:29If Russia and America agree upon where the money is going to go, who needs them?
- 2:35And there's been – Lavrov gave a snippy response earlier today where the Washington Post cited an unnamed EU diplomat.
- 2:50Remember me, I finished with this last night.
- 2:53This was the last update I had for you last night, because it was the last update that they had provided on this minute-by-minute, blow-by-blow tracking of the alleged peace formula, the peace talks.
- 3:11The Washington Post has cited an unnamed diplomat as saying the issue is we don't have a real clear picture of what's being negotiated between the U.S. and Ukraine.
- 3:25And then that was the last one that I got to you.
- 3:32And then this morning, it started up again, and I've been following it all day.
- 3:37It's three o'clock in the morning, Greenwich Mean Time, so right about as my show was ending last night, or a little bit before, but it didn't show – well, whatever it is, it was just either right after or right before.
- 3:54And Russia's investment envoy and negotiator on Ukraine, Kirill Dmitriev, blasted the biased critics of President Trump and his peace plan.
- 4:07He condemned those who profit from the war.
- 4:12And there are too many of those, far too many of those.
- 4:17And he said, not just the deep state military industrial complex folks, but the media and the opinion makers.
- 4:25War profiteers sabotage peace with unrealistic solutions, is what he said on X.
- 4:35And, well, then the Czech president came out and said some things, because people know what's going on on the ground.
- 4:47There have been lies all day long today that Ukraine is ever present in Pokrovsk and Mirnagrad and wherever they are.
- 5:00And I don't believe that.
- 5:03I mean, I don't believe it at all.
- 5:04I've been following this since the very beginning, and nobody who knows anything believes this either.
- 5:09There may be an attempt to weasel their way back in.
- 5:13What I saw on Telegram today was a video of three or four Ukrainian soldiers going past Russia everywhere.
- 5:24Well, Eastern Europe, basically, but they're all over Russia, too.
- 5:29They were all over the Soviet Union.
- 5:32When you come into a new city, they always have these signs that, if you're familiar with where the Lake Ozark sign is,
- 5:40when you drive up the hill going on the new freeway and the new bypass, there's a sign that says Lake Ozark up there.
- 5:48They have those in just about every town in Russia.
- 5:52And there's one, of course, in Pokrovsk.
- 5:55I saw a video of something on Telegram where there were some Ukrainian soldiers going around that sign.
- 6:09And there was a guy who was reading it, and he said, based on the graffiti, he said, I think this is a little older,
- 6:15which is kind of interesting because there's graffiti all over this thing, Russians, positive, Russian, negative, and I don't know.
- 6:25I'm not there, obviously.
- 6:27But there was a commentary that they were saying they don't think that them being by the sign on the outskirts of Pokrovsk means that they're in possession of Pokrovsk.
- 6:42And nobody can say when that video was done.
- 6:47Obviously, you don't need geolocation on it or anything like that, but it doesn't have a time period when it was taken.
- 6:55You can't necessarily verify that those are taken on the days that they are taken.
- 7:02And there's a huge propaganda effort right now on the side of Ukraine to try and make sure to show that they are taking over, that they are winning.
- 7:14Because nobody, they do not wish to, the government anyway, in Europe anyway, they do not wish to capitulate.
- 7:23And Trump's 28-point peace plan for them is capitulation.
- 7:27So, at any rate, that this is, all of this is a very real propaganda.
- 7:36And you got to be careful what you're getting.
- 7:41The Czech president came on and his name is Piotr Pawel.
- 7:46He told Polish news channel that any peace deal shouldn't resemble Munich 2.0, which referred to the 1938 agreement in which France and Britain allowed Nazi Germany to annex parts of Czechoslovakia.
- 8:05And he said, however, that Ukrainians and their EU supporters have to be realistic and see clearly what is happening on the ground.
- 8:13And he said that the loss of territory is possible.
- 8:18And he stressed that Ukraine shouldn't officially recognize Russia's borders.
- 8:24But he also acknowledges that it wasn't Czechoslovakia that gave up Czechoslovakian land, really.
- 8:32It was France and Britain telling them what they were going to do when it was allowed.
- 8:38So then about six o'clock in the morning, about three o'clock in the morning, US Secretary Dan Driscoll was going to hold talks with Russian representatives in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- 8:56Secretary Driscoll met with members of Russian delegation Monday night for several hours.
- 9:01And he's scheduled to meet with them again on Tuesday throughout the day to discuss peace and rapidly move the peace negotiation forward.
- 9:09But CBS didn't say who else is in the Washington delegation and who is representing Moscow.
- 9:16And along with Rubio and Whitkoff, Driscoll took part with Ukraine in Geneva discussions on Ukraine.
- 9:24So Russia then came back a little bit later and said, and her name, she's a chairperson named Valentina Matyavianka.
- 9:38She said the US is interested in settling the conflict.
- 9:42And she said, I personally believe that an agreement on Ukraine is possible.
- 9:46And I believe in the sincerity of Trump's intentions.
- 9:51I believe he wants to end this conflict.
- 9:53She said to Moskovsky, come to Mueller's newspaper.
- 9:59And according to her, Western Europe still hopes to defeat Russia on the battlefield.
- 10:07And, you know.
- 10:09That is this hope is still the main instrument yielded by the global wielded party, which is all of them.
- 10:20You know, and I thought I liked how she put that.
- 10:23When I included it, Chelsea said, whenever any signs of something that could form the basis for a settlement appear,
- 10:32they, Europeans, immediately get together and torpedo peace efforts, turning any plan for peace into a plan for continuing the war.
- 10:44And, you know, that's true.
- 10:46And it's been all day back and forth on this.
- 10:52US is preventing.
- 10:54This came out a little bit after that.
- 10:57US is preventing the EU and UK from being involved in the peace process.
- 11:04We are not on board.
- 11:06We are trying to get on board.
- 11:08But it is being met for the moment with rejections from the Americans, said the source.
- 11:14And again, they never named the source.
- 11:16And there's a sense of mystery around the current phase of negotiations to choose peace plan.
- 11:26And then there was a rare meeting between the country's top leaders.
- 11:32And then they showed Rubio.
- 11:34So when was this?
- 11:37That's just a file photo.
- 11:38But Rubio is refusing to hold bilateral meetings with the EU's foreign policy chief, Kayakalis.
- 11:46Well, I wouldn't either. She's a moron.
- 11:48And he's better than her, but he's neocon.
- 11:53The neocons have grabbed hold of our Trumpster pretty well here.
- 11:58And I'm not on board with that.
- 12:01So we shall see what we can see here.
- 12:06Let us see what we can do.
- 12:09Hello, kind sir.
- 12:11How are you today?
- 12:13Fine, thanks.
- 12:14I'm glad to hear that you and your Volkswagen diesel made it back to Florida.
- 12:22I traded that diesel in ages ago.
- 12:25I just told you the story about it.
- 12:27They paid me to give it back.
- 12:29What are you driving now?
- 12:32Well, I got an Altima.
- 12:36And I have a pickup truck.
- 12:40A Nissan Altima.
- 12:42Yeah.
- 12:44Yeah, my son-in-law has one of those.
- 12:47It's got 184,000 miles on it.
- 12:49That is the best vehicle.
- 12:51It's just reliable AF.
- 12:53It's just a really good car.
- 12:55So I'm a big fan of the Nissan.
- 12:56And that distracted me from—
- 12:58What do you think the best possible outcome is for this whole Russia-Ukraine thing?
- 13:05I mean, what, in your mind, because I value your opinion, what do you think is the best case scenario?
- 13:15Man, you know, I keep getting twisted back and forth.
- 13:20And, you know, they keep getting yanked so far to one way and so far to the other.
- 13:26But the Ukrainians are getting screwed here.
- 13:30And, you know, the only people that are benefiting from this are the wealthy and the criminals at the top of the Ukrainian politics in the U.S.
- 13:43and all of the same old a-holes in Europe, right?
- 13:48But the people of Ukraine are getting screwed.
- 13:52And the best outcome, this is really going to sound harsh, but I think we ought to cut them off completely.
- 14:03Cut off intelligence.
- 14:06Cut off money.
- 14:09Cut off weapons.
- 14:10Cut off all of it because they are being slaughtered over there.
- 14:17And maybe it's only a war of attrition.
- 14:21I admit I'm not on the battleground.
- 14:24You know, I'm not there.
- 14:26But I've been following this pretty damn close.
- 14:29And I certainly do not see it.
- 14:32And I believe that this is what our fearless neocon leaders are doing right now.
- 14:40They're going over and telling them, look, you're either going to lose this now or you're going to lose more next summer.
- 14:47Because look where you are compared to last summer when you refused all these deals.
- 14:54Remember last November and last October, old Z-Monster was over at the U.N.
- 15:03And he went to Sweden or Switzerland.
- 15:06I'm sorry.
- 15:06He went to Switzerland trying to push his peace plan and then his victory plan.
- 15:11And all of it is the same old crap.
- 15:14Russia, give us back Crimea.
- 15:18Russia, give us back all of this stuff.
- 15:20And they just keep losing more.
- 15:24And they're going to keep losing more.
- 15:27And so it's not going to end well for them.
- 15:32And if we are going to force them to do something, I hope that's what we are doing now.
- 15:37But it appears to be the exact same pile of crap.
- 15:41The same old idiots think they're going to force Russia to do something, and they're not going to.
- 15:47Yeah, it's a complete culture war in my view.
- 15:49And, I mean, I listen to you not every night but several nights a week, and you're in tune.
- 15:55I mean, I really understand that you know what the hell you're talking about.
- 15:59And then I listen to some other people too, you know, Alex Jones.
- 16:03I listen to John Solomon.
- 16:05I listen to Breitbart.
- 16:06I listen to The Gateway Pundit, a lot of different sources.
- 16:09And you are one of many, and JR too.
- 16:13And so here's what trips my effing trigger, Sam.
- 16:19These people, and I'm up in the city right now.
- 16:23I'm loving life.
- 16:24I like it better down there because it's more, you know, serene and not as much traffic and all that crap.
- 16:31But I'm up here right now loving, you know, my kids, my three, my two daughters and a son and their significant others.
- 16:39And my beautiful granddaughter.
- 16:41So I'm loving life.
- 16:42I'm not trying to complain.
- 16:44I'm just going to point something out.
- 16:46That these people that are up here in this city flying these Ukrainian effing flags don't have a clue what's going on.
- 16:55They think they're standing up for democracy.
- 16:57And this little tin pot dictator, this little miniature, little penis playing piano player is a leftist commie, insubordinate, you know, freakish thing, you know, that they're trying to dump on this man and trying to make us think that it's okay.
- 17:22And he's the same little intermapper that canceled the elections.
- 17:26And that shut down the right wing religious, you know, objections to what that little Democrat, socialist, communist, punk ass prick is doing.
- 17:41He's no good.
- 17:42And that is what they're trying to normalize in the United States.
- 17:46That's what these people that are on these streets in Johnson County and Jackson County and in their, you know, highfalutin neighborhoods thinking that they're supporting some sort of social justice.
- 17:58These MFers are dumber than F, man.
- 18:01And they are going to sell us.
- 18:03They and their overly funded NGO shit is going to sell us down the river unless we stop them right effing now.
- 18:14All these little grannies and grampies, these boomers that think they're going to save the world, they are the doomsday seekers.
- 18:25We need to pursue a plan of peace for the future for our children, not these doomsday seeker, blue haired, pink haired, bitch ass, leftist, communist, creep ass Fs that are going to die.
- 18:43In 10 years, they need to shut up and go away.
- 18:48Well, they need to change their way of thinking and that'll never happen.
- 18:54And it's all of these people that are living in the past that still think that in some great war, excuse me, a really scratchy throat tonight, that in some great war that we are going to do what we did in World War II.
- 19:16We're too lazy for that now.
- 19:19Those days are gone.
- 19:21I don't know about that, but it's much more equal than it was back then, at least from the battlefield perspective.
- 19:32And if anything, we are outclassed in a number of areas.
- 19:38And there are a couple of people that I listen to regularly that say China is a paper tiger.
- 19:46Russia is a paper tiger.
- 19:48Remember when Trump put all that, that he was saying several months ago, Russia is a paper tiger.
- 19:56I got news for you.
- 19:57They are not.
- 19:58And what they are doing in Ukraine is a war of attrition.
- 20:06It's of small advances.
- 20:08And it's very technical.
- 20:10It's all done.
- 20:12But they do it repeatedly over and over and over.
- 20:16And now it's like a – you know how you – what is it called?
- 20:23Familiarity, or you get into a habit-forming scenario.
- 20:28It's the Stockholm Syndrome.
- 20:31Well, I don't know about that.
- 20:34That's usually when you end up liking your characters, I think.
- 20:38Well, that's the same – where's the difference?
- 20:41I mean describe the difference between –
- 20:42But the difference is in the habit of what the Russian military is doing.
- 20:49So they go into a city and they cut off all the supply lines.
- 20:53They bomb all the outer rings.
- 20:55They cut off all the ability for anything to get there.
- 20:58They blow up any air defense.
- 21:01They bomb the shit out of it for several days.
- 21:05And then they go house to house and liquidate the people.
- 21:08And they put them in – they call them aldrins.
- 21:12They put them in a katiolok.
- 21:14And these guys are put in a pot, and then they close the lid on the top of them.
- 21:20And they're encircled, and people give up.
- 21:22And you'll see them all over Telegram.
- 21:26You'll see all of these – what do you call it?
- 21:31Surrenders of all of these Ukrainian guys.
- 21:35And all they do is then you see them saying horrible things about what they did as soldiers.
- 21:45But the Russians are – they're going to keep advancing.
- 21:50And like I have been saying for at least two to three years is they are patient.
- 21:58They are very patient, and they will proceed as slow as they have to go.
- 22:04Okay, so like Lindsey Graham's of the world, the Mitch McConnell's of the world.
- 22:10Oh, jeez, Russia, if they were going to win, they should be just rolling over Ukraine.
- 22:16Well, not if they want to save their own men.
- 22:20They shouldn't.
- 22:21They should try to take care of them.
- 22:24But it's a meat – they call them the meat lines in Ukraine.
- 22:29Those guys are nothing but meat.
- 22:32They don't have any vehicles anymore.
- 22:34They don't have any artillery anymore.
- 22:39All they got are minimal drones, and they hope that people give them long-range weapons so they can bomb inside of Russia.
- 22:48And it's depressing because they're all over their own channels, even in Ukraine.
- 22:54These guys aren't getting any training.
- 22:57Zelensky said a week ago that he needs 40,000 new soldiers a month.
- 23:03Why?
- 23:04If you're not losing, why do you need 40,000 more soldiers every month?
- 23:09Why are you beating the crap out of people in the streets and dragging them to the front lines if you're winning?
- 23:16If you have these people, why can't you get them into the military?
- 23:24Because they don't want to die, and they know it's the meat mines.
- 23:29So there's nothing – not a whole lot positive going on from the Ukrainian army side.
- 23:38And I believe – well, I know that all over the place.
- 23:43I told you last night and even the night before about the broken pen incident with Yermak breaking his pen because Rubio was telling him the truth.
- 23:54He wasn't going, look, don't go pumping sunshine up our heads.
- 23:58We know you're losing.
- 24:00We know Pokrovsk and Mirnagrad are horror stories for you.
- 24:04And we know you can't resupply your lines.
- 24:07You need to end this, and we're going to force you to end this now.
- 24:12And so there's nothing good for them to look forward to except if they continue to fight next year, it will be even worse.
- 24:24And they're in for a horror story of a winter, I'll tell you that.
- 24:28Well, here's the only thing I have to say.
- 24:31It seems to me like they're over there – I mean the people here, the leftist, blue-haired, pink-haired, whatever, radical, whatever they are.
- 24:42They are saying they're standing up for democracy, which is absolutely the antithesis of what Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian government is supporting.
- 25:01They've got martial law.
- 25:04They have no free and fair elections.
- 25:06They are silencing their opposition, and opposition meaning Catholic, Christian believers, and that way of thinking.
- 25:24So that country is the absolute antithesis of democracy.
- 25:31And then these old Nancy Pelosi's and Chuck Schumer's and all the leftists, and maybe a few of the RINO, you know, right-wing, AIPAC, money-taking, you know, fake-ass phonies are into too.
- 25:45But they are absolutely demeaning the definition of democracy is what they stand for over here, day after day after day.
- 25:56I just can't understand how people on this side of the ocean can be so brainwashed.
- 26:09And it sure as hell isn't. It's not for democracy, because there isn't any over there. That's for sure.
- 26:16Yeah. We're in the middle of a Cloward Piven, Smith-Monk, absolute propagandist fight for our free way of thinking.
- 26:28In the bottom line, that's what it is, because they've got it turned upside down.
- 26:32Everything that's white is black. Everything that's left is right. Everything that's up is down.
- 26:38It is a giant fucking conundrum right now, man.
- 26:41And the reason they can do that is because the Federal Reserve and all those money-pushing bitches and the national healthcare industrial complex and the military, they're all pushing the fact that the dollar is so important.
- 26:57The dollar is done.
- 26:59We have got to move on from the dollar and defeat the Fed. The Fed has got to go.
- 27:05When we do that, there's going to be a Nassara and a Jussara. Look it up. Nassara and Jussara.
- 27:13And when you see that, Sam, I think you're going to absolutely buy into what I'm telling you right now.
- 27:18These Federal Reserve bankers and these Rothschilds and these Chases and JPMorgan, they're going to rue the day, bro.
- 27:28They are going to rue the day.
- 27:31You know, you are pretty positive about that, and I know some of the people are positive about that.
- 27:40But I'm not as positive as the rest of you on that.
- 27:47What do you have to lose? What do you have to lose?
- 27:52Nothing, and I'm hopeful, but I'm just saying that I don't believe the deep state goes down just because a president is on our side.
- 28:03Oh, I don't even want to say on our side because he's not. He's on his own side.
- 28:10But he is acting, I believe, in most cases with the vision of America that he has in the future, front and foremost.
- 28:25And he thinks what he's doing is best for – he's not fake. Let's put it that way.
- 28:31He's not one of those guys that says something.
- 28:35I mean, he might change his mind back and forth, which drives me crazy, but he's also listening to things as he goes along.
- 28:51He's hearing and he's reacting in real time, and I don't think he's fake at all.
- 28:57The rest of him, it's all a line of crap from beginning to end, and he at least is a real person.
- 29:06Like him or hate him, he's a real person.
- 29:09Yeah, I didn't really mean to call to talk about Trump.
- 29:14But my point was this, that the very thing that we've been – for decades, decades, like JR says, the very thing.
- 29:23We've been fighting against communism, right?
- 29:27Isn't the thing that we fought for for the last 150 years against – actually 250, 300 years – against the monarchy and against communism,
- 29:38and against that we're all equal, but some are more equal than others, like George Orwell said in 1984.
- 29:49Isn't that what we're fighting for?
- 29:52I mean, when I say we, I don't know, Sam.
- 29:56I'm betting my chips are 90% that you're on the right side.
- 30:01I don't think you're a bad guy.
- 30:02I think you're a good guy.
- 30:04But who knows?
- 30:06Nobody ever knows if you're just an embedded spy over here or something.
- 30:12But I'd like to think that I'm a good judge of character, and I think you're on the right side,
- 30:17and you're just promoting different points of view and perspectives.
- 30:21And here's the last thing I want to say, that we're over here fighting against communism and for democracy,
- 30:31and yet the guy that these Pelosi's and these Schumer's and all these stupid blue-haired leftists are in on,
- 30:40the guy is not in favor of democracy.
- 30:44He is ruling by autocracy.
- 30:46He has banned elections in the country that we're supposed to be fighting for democracy in against Russian communism.
- 30:55We are, it's a giant boondoggle, bro.
- 30:58It's a giant, we are being bamboozled.
- 31:01Back over the head, punching the nuts, we are being bamboozled.
- 31:05If they think that we're fighting against the Russian communist aggression, and letting this little short dick, freaking creep, run us.
- 31:20He is such a disgusting, vile little person.
- 31:24And we're letting him, the United States right now is letting him bitch slap the F out of us.
- 31:31And it's embarrassing.
- 31:33I don't know that I'd go as far as you even on that, but he's not one of the good guys in my opinion.
- 31:39And I think that one of the biggest things, the biggest lies that the American public has been sold for the last 30 years.
- 31:52Well, even before that, really, to be truthful.
- 31:55But from the collapse of the Soviet Union, okay, so communism is gone.
- 32:02Russia could be our friends, right?
- 32:04There's no reason they couldn't.
- 32:06But the big bad bear, we needed the big bad bear.
- 32:12So the biggest lie that has been told for more than 30 years is that the Russian bear is going to take over Europe.
- 32:22It's going to take over the planet.
- 32:24It isn't doing anything, none of the above.
- 32:29But we will put NATO everywhere that we have done.
- 32:37And so Russia is not your enemy, and they never were.
- 32:43And I hope Charlie can pull his head out of his rear end.
- 32:47Well, it seems like he is, but he's also on board with a bunch of these neocon morons that I have zero use for.
- 32:57But there appear to be more and more on the us side that want to stop interfering in geopolitics to the level that we are.
- 33:09And I don't like it at any level, so I very much appreciate your call.
- 33:14That's the reason I call in, Sam, because I think you've got a very, very educated and intelligent point of view.
- 33:21And you're a very good conversationalist.
- 33:24And I don't know how we got so lucky to have you be a part of this community that I'm engaged with anyway.
- 33:33So anyway, I'm going to say Happy Thanksgiving.
- 33:36It's non-denominational.
- 33:38I'm not going to wish you a Merry Christmas, because I know you've got some Muslim fucking wranglings and whatnot in your fucking background.
- 33:44But that's fine.
- 33:46I'm not going to judge you for that.
- 33:47Yeah, like they don't do Christmas.
- 33:49Come on.
- 33:50Do they?
- 33:51I don't know.
- 33:52I don't study that.
- 33:54I do not know.
- 33:55Well, but it's, you know, the only thing that gets me is all these generalizations that people meet.
- 34:04People are just people everywhere.
- 34:07And it doesn't matter.
- 34:10This is an honest question, bro.
- 34:13Honest question.
- 34:14Do Muslims put up a Christmas tree?
- 34:18The one I'm married to does.
- 34:20She likes it.
- 34:22Okay.
- 34:23Fair enough.
- 34:23That's the asked and answered.
- 34:25Merry Christmas.
- 34:26Happy Thanksgiving.
- 34:28Happy Kwanzaa.
- 34:29Happy fucking whatever it is.
- 34:31That's right.
- 34:45It's easier for us to get along than fight, I think.
- 34:49So I'm going to leave you with that.
- 34:50No doubt.
- 34:51All right.
- 34:52Good night, Sam.
- 34:53Yep.
- 34:54Yep.
- 34:54Thank you for calling.
- 34:57And there he goes.
- 35:01Well, I wanted to get to for sure the, I wanted to get for sure to the Lavrov deal.
- 35:13Because Lavrov, he later in the day, I was reading you that timeline before of all the events of the day that have been going on.
- 35:26And I wanted to get to, because Peskov had a bit, Dmitry Peskov said that the US peace plan would be a very good basis for negotiations.
- 35:38Right now, the only substantive thing is the American plan, Trump's plan.
- 35:44And according to him, the draft of the proposal, which had been shared with Russia, was developed in part based upon the understandings reached in Anchorage in August between Putin and Trump.
- 36:01And he said, we remain completely open to the negotiation process.
- 36:07We are interested in achieving our goals through diplomatic means.
- 36:15Then French President Emmanuel Macron said the US plan to end the conflict is a step in the right direction.
- 36:25And he said, we want peace, but not a peace that is in essence capitulation, which puts Ukraine in an impossible situation, which gives Russia all the freedom to continue to go further.
- 36:40Including to other European countries.
- 36:43See, this is the BS that he's talking.
- 36:46Moscow doesn't have any intention of going in anywhere else in Western Europe.
- 36:51And there's no reason to think that they are.
- 36:55And people who are saying that they believe that, I think, I would use the word disingenuous, but I think they're just flat out liars.
- 37:05They don't believe that.
- 37:07And if they do, they're morons.
- 37:09They're listening to the wrong people.
- 37:12And so it's funny to me when you see things like that, because Russia has been very clear about what they do and why.
- 37:20And so there was also discussion that went back and forth all day today.
- 37:27Zelensky coming to Washington to talk to Trump by the end of the week.
- 37:32And then they put it off till next week.
- 37:34Then it was this week again.
- 37:35But Kiev is looking to organize Zelensky's visit at the earliest suitable date, still in November, to complete the final steps and make a deal with Trump.
- 37:48Now this came from Umarov.
- 37:50The U.S. and Ukrainian delegations reached a common understanding on the core terms in Geneva.
- 37:59And so we don't know what it's going to be.
- 38:02Now Lavrov, this is what I wanted to get to.
- 38:05Because Lavrov, I watched a – oh, it was probably an hour that I watched with him.
- 38:15And it was him and a Belarusian foreign minister.
- 38:19I don't think he was the president.
- 38:20I think he was a foreign minister.
- 38:23And so they were talking all about cooperation between Minsk and Moscow and steps that they have made to do these things.
- 38:35And afterward, they had a press conference.
- 38:39And he – and I translated it for you.
- 38:43I'm going to read a certain part of it.
- 38:46But I have to get to it.
- 38:48But I'm going to give you the short story version of it right now.
- 38:53He said that Moscow is waiting for Washington to provide it with the interim version of the U.S. peace plan, which has been coordinated with Ukraine and Western Europe, according to Lavrov.
- 39:07Politico reported earlier that the U.S. proposal was reduced from 28 points to 19.
- 39:14As a result of the discussion with Ukrainians in Geneva over the weekend, and sensitive issues regarding territorial concessions by Kiev were removed.
- 39:27But according to Lavrov, Moscow so far has only seen the initial version, and it was obtained through unofficial channels.
- 39:37And it has not been officially communicated to us.
- 39:41But we are ready, as President Putin said, to discuss specific clauses.
- 39:47And I like how he usually puts things together because he really is a professional diplomat.
- 39:55And he don't like talking.
- 39:59And so he did an interview.
- 40:01And Maria Zakharova did an interview as well.
- 40:06But I want to get to the press conference of Sergei Lavrov and Ryzhikov from Belarus.
- 40:24Let's see.
- 40:25I want to get to where they were talking about, and it was a long, a long statement.
- 40:38Let's see, I have a question.
- 40:40I got to get to the right question.
- 40:44Let's see.
- 40:48Regarding the Ukrainian issue, we discussed it yesterday in an informal setting.
- 40:54This is the question.
- 40:56Is this a new Minsk process and who would participate in it?
- 41:05And he said, and this is Lavrov, a few days ago in a meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council, our assessment remained valid in the sense that the key provision of Trump's plan were based on the understandings reached in Anchorage at the Russian-American summit in August.
- 41:23And these principles are generally reflected in the plan.
- 41:29We welcome this, as President Putin said, because after Anchorage, when we thought these understandings had already been formalized, there was a long pause.
- 41:40And now, the pause has been interrupted by the introduction of this document.
- 41:48And he said, we have it, but it has not been officially transmitted to us.
- 41:54It's only come through unofficial channels.
- 41:57But we are naturally ready, as the President said, to discuss this specific wording because a number of issues require clarification.
- 42:06So far, we have not received from our American colleagues the version that is being speculated about in the media.
- 42:15Those who engage in this kind of megaphone diplomacy, of course, have far from noble goals, and they don't hide it.
- 42:25Macron spoke here the other day and said that Trump's plan is unacceptable because it's a capitulation to Russia, for Ukrainian reasons.
- 42:35Someone else is making the statement like this as well.
- 42:41Everything should depend on Ukraine's willingness to agree to this or that agreement.
- 42:47That's it.
- 42:49But serious diplomats, and here's where he goes.
- 42:51I like it.
- 42:52This is why I like listening to him because he just tells it like it is.
- 42:57He says, but serious diplomats discuss such matters as diplomats are supposed to confidentially until a final agreement is reached.
- 43:08Those who are trying to process the documents submitted, first of all, they were deliberately leaked to the media to get this hype.
- 43:18And those who are orchestrating this hype, they, of course, aren't hiding it either.
- 43:24They want to undermine Donald Trump's efforts.
- 43:27Now, this is Sergey Lavrov saying all this.
- 43:30They want to twist his plan in their own way, as I wanted to say in a joke once but decided not to mention it.
- 43:40Therefore, in this sense, we have channels of communication with our American colleagues, and they are being used.
- 43:47And we are awaiting their version, which they consider an interim version in terms of completing the phase of coordinating this text with the Europeans and the Ukrainians.
- 44:03Then we will see what happens.
- 44:06Because if the spirit and letter of the anchorage agreement on the key understandings we recorded are extinguished, then, of course, the situation is fundamentally different.
- 44:17But so far, I repeat, no one has officially communicated anything to us.
- 44:26And then he said something about Belarus not being entitled to it.
- 44:31And then he said that they weren't involved in them.
- 44:37But then he went back to the question of the person we're talking about, the Minsk agreements that came up that happened before.
- 44:44There was Minsk 1 and Minsk 2.
- 44:47And these are the ones that France and Germany said that they weren't going to honor.
- 44:52And all they were doing previously with Minsk 1 and Minsk 2 was giving Ukraine time to gear up for war.
- 44:59And so he talked about that for a bit.
- 45:02He said when the Minsk agreements were reached after 20 hours of negotiation between leaders of Russia, Ukraine, France, and Germany, President Lukashenko of Belarus personally did a great deal to organize the work in such a way that it would be completed successfully.
- 45:21And, of course, no one back then sitting in the middle of the night in the palace of the Republic of Minsk would have imagined that the German and French leaders, Mr. Merkel and Mr. Holland, that's who was there then, were simply sitting there and falsifying the negotiations, which they admitted later.
- 45:41Both of them, along with a third participant, Poroshenko, who was the guy from Ukraine, admitted a year and a half ago that they had no intention of implementing those agreements at all, despite the fact that the Security Council approved the agreements.
- 46:00They declared they needed to buy time to pump Ukraine with weapons so that Ukraine could dig in five stories underground in Donbass, which once again demonstrates they had no intention of abandoning the use of force.
- 46:17Therefore, yes, of course, Alexander Lukashenko and our Belarusian friends played a role in the process the last time.
- 46:27A few days later, the Ukrainians proposed negotiations and our friend in Belarus provided the Belarusian Pushcha, where several rounds, that's the presidential residence, where several rounds took place.
- 46:46And the fact that everything was later moved to another location, due to the whims of the Ukrainians, does not diminish the significance of the role that Belarus played.
- 46:57The other location is Istanbul, as you and several rounds were concluded in Istanbul.
- 47:04Therefore, every time progress is made and agreements are reached, either interim or more stable long-term ones, these agreements have fallen through.
- 47:15And now, this is a long answer to the question, but he goes, and now when our European colleagues loudly declare there will be no new Minsk and nothing can be decided without Europe, because all of this directly concerns Europe, and Europe has in fact failed on all counts starting in 2014.
- 47:40It was Europe, what is my computer doing?
- 47:46It was Europe that presided over the agreement on the settlement plan in February 2014 between Yanukovych and the opposition.
- 47:55It was Europe that put a guarantor's signature on the document that Yanukovych and the opposition signed back in 2014.
- 48:03It was Europe that morning when the opposition, in violation of the entire signed document, seized the government building in Ukraine.
- 48:14It was Europe that threw up its hands and said in response to our questions, why are you, the guarantor, silent and not holding the opposition accountable?
- 48:25And they said, you know, sometimes democracy takes very unusual forms and twists.
- 48:31Now, I've heard this story before, but he said it, he says it the same just about every time.
- 48:38And he said, and that's all.
- 48:40And it was Europe that destroyed the Minsk agreements, as we now know.
- 48:44They openly admit this through France and Germany and through them, the European Union, who are all guarantors.
- 48:51It was Europe, admittedly represented by Boris Johnson, that Europe took the same position that dissuaded Zelensky from signing the agreements that the Ukrainian delegation itself proposed in Istanbul in April 2022.
- 49:09This is when this all should have been done.
- 49:12So Europe, they now say, don't do anything without us.
- 49:16He says, you guys already had your chance.
- 49:21You didn't take advantage of those opportunities.
- 49:24You simply wasted them.
- 49:26Only when I watched it, he didn't say you simply wasted them.
- 49:29The word he used is more like you pissed them away.
- 49:35You know, you blew it.
- 49:38You did nothing.
- 49:39And it's a harsher word than you wasted it.
- 49:46And now when Europe declares, Macron made an aggressive statement today that the problem in Ukraine is Russia, according to Macron.
- 49:58Russia is engaged in a strategic confrontation with Europeans.
- 50:03And we must prove that we will never surrender in the face of a force that threatens us.
- 50:10That's what Macron said.
- 50:11He stated that after settlement, they plan to send troops to Kiev and Odessa.
- 50:17And he did say that.
- 50:18Macron's an idiot.
- 50:19And he said, we're going to say after this deal is made, we're going to send troops to Kiev and to Odessa.
- 50:25And he says, well, you know, these are just dreams that he have.
- 50:29And they have nothing to do with peaceful settlement.
- 50:31So when Europeans say we must be with Europe, with Ukraine to the end, because Ukraine is fighting for European values, this is what they are confessing.
- 50:43This means that Europe.
- 50:45I'm sorry to read all this, but it was a great answer.
- 50:48This means Europe is encouraging Nazism, which is legalized in Ukraine.
- 50:53The ideology and practice of Nazism are all legalized.
- 50:57This means Europe is encouraging racism, which takes the form of legislative bans on the Russian language and anything Russian culture, media.
- 51:09And the economic ban on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which they have told you about that before.
- 51:16It was the Russian Orthodox, but they made it be Ukrainian.
- 51:19And then since they're subservient to Moscow, they were getting rid of them, too.
- 51:23He said, so these are the European values that Europe or Ukraine is defending on behalf of Europe.
- 51:31Therefore, in this case, we see countries that can play a constructive role as mediators.
- 51:38These include Belarus and Turkey.
- 51:41And President Putin recently discussed all of this with President Erdogan, who is interested in helping create a platform.
- 51:49It wasn't us who rejected Istanbul platform.
- 51:54The Ukrainians did.
- 51:56We still haven't received a response from them to the proposal to create three working groups because they complained that only the humanitarian aspects of the situations were ever discussed in Istanbul.
- 52:11And no one was talking about the interests or issues that are directly and crucially related to the settlement.
- 52:21We proposed let's create three groups, humanitarian, political and military.
- 52:27Their answer, there hasn't been one instead.
- 52:30He says that's not what happened in July of this year.
- 52:33There was no response.
- 52:35They just complained about low level delegations.
- 52:38We propose significantly increasing the level of delegations in Istanbul, but still complete silence.
- 52:47Therefore, when people say, as Macron here quoted, that we, Russia, are the only red line separating us from settlement.
- 52:57Well, the president has already commented on some of the antics of our European neighbors, which in general are aimed only at distracting their electorate from their completely failed policies, economic and social development and the interest of the population.
- 53:18And he says, excuse me, then he talks a little bit about why Belarus is an important part in there.
- 53:25And he says. Well, right now, there can be no talk of any mediation with France or Germany at all.
- 53:36Among the mediators, as I said, we value the position of Belarus.
- 53:41We value the position of Turkey.
- 53:44We value the position of Hungary, which is eager to host the Russia US summit that President Trump proposed to hold in Budapest.
- 53:53And of course, we value the position of the United States, which is the only one of the, so to speak, leaders of the Western world, unlike London, Brussels, Paris, Berlin, to take the initiative and find ways or try to find ways to a settlement.
- 54:12And we appreciate that.
- 54:14And I repeat once again and especially note in the initiative in this Trump plan, we have seen from the 28 points that we have, but we have not seen any other version.
- 54:29But most importantly, this Trump plan does reflect the key understandings of the Alaska summit.
- 54:37So a very long answer by Lavrov, but I wanted to include that because he.
- 54:45He spoke for a little while and you never get that.
- 54:50You never get that. And in the media here on the West, in the West.
- 54:57And then there was a question about the BBC.
- 55:01Yes. When they said the BBC question was Sergei Viktorovich, could you elaborate?
- 55:08You said the American side hasn't handed over an updated version of the plan.
- 55:13Right. But there are reports that the Russian American talks on Ukraine are currently underway in Abu Dhabi.
- 55:21Right. And so it would be logical to assume that Russia is already aware of the new version.
- 55:30What can you tell us about the talks in Abu Dhabi and what is the composition of the Russian delegation?
- 55:38So and how close do you think a diplomatic settlement to the conflict is?
- 55:45So Lavrov says we have permanent channels of communication with the Americans.
- 55:52President Putin mentioned this when he assessed Trump's peace plan.
- 55:56We do not hide it, but our diplomacy is used to working professionally.
- 56:02This is where he rips up again on Western journalists and professional diplomacy consists, as I mentioned before,
- 56:11of not leaking information or allowing leaks until a final agreement is reached.
- 56:18But those who, this is a bad translation, who respect diplomacy and politics in Europe are doing exactly the opposite.
- 56:30Meaning they're doing it all, you know, online through tweets or through leaks of information.
- 56:38They're not doing it as professional diplomats are.
- 56:42And he complains about this a lot from the West, that everything is, this is where he gets to the comment about.
- 56:54About. You know, it's kind of a shotgun diplomacy causes something like that.
- 57:00So the purpose of these leaks and constant speculation and rumor mongering is only one.
- 57:07In this case, that purpose is to undermine Donald Trump.
- 57:13Now, remember, this is Sergei Lavrov saying this.
- 57:17And they want to get rid of his initiative insofar as it replicates the understanding that we reached in Anchorage.
- 57:24And nobody is hiding it. So you can read.
- 57:32No, what is his name?
- 57:34Macron. It didn't translate it right.
- 57:37The prime minister of England, Macron and other people, including the Brussels bureaucracy.
- 57:44We don't do that. We want to act as is customary among foreign policy officials.
- 57:51Negotiate confidentially before announcing what you've agreed to.
- 57:56Any other approach means exposing useful initiatives to the risk of attack by those who seek to undermine them.
- 58:05And they do this in the media, including, you know, using releasing things specifically to certain media and including your corporation.
- 58:16The guy who answered or who asked the question, I see.
- 58:20He said there have been such examples recently from you.
- 58:24We have a much different approach. As I have said, there are channels for communication.
- 58:31But we prefer to engage in diplomacy rather than wagging our tongues in an attempt to provoke and undermine certain positive and promising initiatives.
- 58:43That's why, while we are not rushing to our American colleagues, we have waited a very long time after Anchorage.
- 58:52We have talked to them, simply reminded them that we are committed to that understanding.
- 58:59And it's good that they may finally, by putting forward their initiative, Donald Trump's plan.
- 59:08Excuse me. Confirm their commitment to the understanding in Minsk that to what extent they will defend this position and to what extent they will be able to resist attempts to lead them astray.
- 59:24By Europe, he means we don't yet know. We hope that when the United States considered its consultations with the Ukrainian regime and the Europeans, they will inform us.
- 59:36And we hope that this will be in the very near future.
- 59:40And he said, but and then the BBC guy goes, but you didn't answer my question.
- 59:45He said you didn't confirm the fact that there are negotiations going on in Abu Dhabi.
- 59:51And Lavrov says, I answered you and we conclude the press conference.
- 59:56So it was a good press conference. I liked watching it. It wasn't too horribly long.
- 1:00:01And and even the guy from BBC was BBC Russia, I guess, because he spoke Russian.
- 1:00:10It was a pretty good, pretty good deal and a pretty good conversation.
- 1:00:18So I wanted to go through, excuse me, this joke that people are trying to put out on this side of the planet, that Ukraine is winning.
- 1:00:33And so the main parts are the most active parts of the battlefield.
- 1:00:38Basically, in the south. And there's Pokrovsk, Myrnograd, Hulyapolya, where Ukraine is losing.
- 1:00:49And so Myrnograd is a crushing defeat, according to just about everything that you see.
- 1:00:56And they the Russian forces have pushed into and around Myrnograd.
- 1:01:01They are in there, but they have a complete operational encirclement of Ukrainian forces.
- 1:01:08And there were said to be between Pokrovsk and Myrnograd something like 12000 soldiers.
- 1:01:15Now, that was a month ago and they hadn't closed the lid on what they call the cauldron yet.
- 1:01:20But there are reports, plenty of them, of organized surrenders by Ukrainian soldiers and foreign mercenaries.
- 1:01:29Not just ones and twos, but signs of mass capitulation in these areas.
- 1:01:37And Ukrainian general staff is still ordering encircled units to hold and counterattack.
- 1:01:44Which is the exact same thing they did in Bakhmut and Artyomivsk, which was Artyomivsk.
- 1:01:51But now it's far worse with manpower and morale as low as it is.
- 1:01:56So the line from the videos, the Ukrainian groups in this sector are militarily doomed.
- 1:02:04And everyone on the front knows it.
- 1:02:07It is only Kiev's politicians that keep this stuff in place.
- 1:02:13So let's look at Pokrovsk and the Donbass front even more broadly.
- 1:02:19With Myrnograd cracking, Russian forces are in a position to roll up the whole Pokrovsk grouping, which includes Myrnograd.
- 1:02:29And clear the rest of Pokrovsk, which is pretty much closed anyway.
- 1:02:33The Donbass campaign is portrayed even by me as methodical, grinding Russian advances.
- 1:02:42It's not a stalemate. It's not settlement by settlement.
- 1:02:46I mean, it is settlement by settlement.
- 1:02:49And logistics and road junctions are being taken, eliminated.
- 1:02:53They're bombing the crap out of them and destroying the people.
- 1:02:57It's become a habit, a process.
- 1:03:02You know, just like any factory process, you do it the same every single time.
- 1:03:07And Russia has been doing it the same every single time.
- 1:03:11So. The Donbass, well, the Ukrainian troops in adjacent sections, regions like Sverdlovsk, Soledovo, places like that.
- 1:03:27Are there anybody around there?
- 1:03:29They're also extremely exposed and Russia is advancing pretty steadily there.
- 1:03:36So the point is, this isn't, you know, the loss of Pokrovsk is not an isolated setback.
- 1:03:44It's the plan. It's how it works.
- 1:03:47And it's going to come along.
- 1:03:51It's going to and it's a structural collapse of the entire Ukrainian line.
- 1:03:57And everybody knows it when you take that, because you could be blocked from now.
- 1:04:03This is the only way you can get.
- 1:04:07You're you're you cannot do anything up the Dnieper River.
- 1:04:13The Ukrainians, I mean, and so they have they've lost a collapse on that side.
- 1:04:20And Russia has blocked off most of the main roads to get into Pokrovsk and Mirdograd.
- 1:04:28So the Zaporizhia area is parallel to the Donbass.
- 1:04:35And there's Russians are storming that city, too.
- 1:04:38And games are happening.
- 1:04:40And the Ukrainian dream or fake counteroffensive that they were talking about so they can have something to talk about in Geneva.
- 1:04:50Is. They think they're going to be driving to the Azov coast.
- 1:04:58I mean, everybody is openly mocking that, you know, mocking that plan because they can't do it.
- 1:05:05That window was closed long ago. And now Russia is grinding back, you know, anything they may have lost.
- 1:05:16Excuse me.
- 1:05:18Zaporizhia fighting is another theater where Russian forces are winning both in the Donbass and on the southern front.
- 1:05:26These missile and drone campaigns are kicking the crap out of them.
- 1:05:32Russia's large drone and missile strikes on Ukrainian targets and always infrastructure and military.
- 1:05:38Ukrainian drones are attacking Russian cities with a, you know, focus on they want to make people feel they've been hit residential places pretty regularly.
- 1:05:52So the Western media spotlights Russian strikes, but they don't do anything at all when civilians are killed by Ukrainians.
- 1:06:01They don't even talk about it or they minimalize it, rationalize it, say, well, you know, it's war.
- 1:06:09Well, Russia is never intentionally firing upon apartment complex or anything like that.
- 1:06:20So. If a Russian drone clips an apartment block, you know, here in the West, that'll become a war crime.
- 1:06:28But if a Ukrainian drone does, it's a symbolic resistance.
- 1:06:33Remember that one where they took cluster rounds? I talk about this all the time.
- 1:06:37Some Ukrainians sent over cluster rounds on a Sunday afternoon on a Crimean beach to blow people up.
- 1:06:45And that's what they did. And they use cluster rounds, which are used for personnel to maximize the destruction of personnel.
- 1:06:53That's what you do to defeat the infantry. You don't do it on a beach in Crimea on a Sunday.
- 1:07:03And, you know, these mass surrenders near Mirnagrad are, you know, this is a crack in Ukrainian willingness to fight, including foreign mercenaries, which are there.
- 1:07:16Ukraine is running an older, less trained, mobilized, force mobilized men.
- 1:07:22The experienced units all got chewed up long ago in places like Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and now in Pokrovsk and Mirnagrad.
- 1:07:33And the leadership, if you want to call it that, in Ukraine is increasingly detached from this battlefield reality.
- 1:07:42And they're issuing fight to the last man orders from their comfortable chairs in Kiev.
- 1:07:48And while, you know, everybody is just quickly surrendering.
- 1:07:56So I'm not so sure what's going to happen with this peace plan.
- 1:08:01I hope, you know, the rewrites that are that are the plan.
- 1:08:12This commentary from a couple other guys say that this is a Trump era peace plan that can or seeks to impose a ceasefire along the front lines, address security guarantees for Ukraine and Russia,
- 1:08:32provide a framework for sanction relief and economic normalization.
- 1:08:37So this claim or this plan was quietly developed and then buried.
- 1:08:43Once it became associated with Trump, they want to kill it.
- 1:08:49You know, all of the deep media and the deep state because it requires Kiev to accept neutrality and the loss of its territory.
- 1:08:58And Kiev and Brussels have been very vocal about amending that plan.
- 1:09:06They are relying heavily on rewriting and watering down most of Trump's original terms.
- 1:09:14And the new European version is a 19 point plan that was taken to Geneva.
- 1:09:21It removes any recognition of Russian control over any new territories.
- 1:09:26I mean, that that alone means that this plan is not going to be accepted by Russia.
- 1:09:33And they want to say that there there cannot be, you know, that Ukraine can't be neutral.
- 1:09:38Kaya Kalliser was a von der Leyen got on TV and says no state should be forced to to declare that they're neutral.
- 1:09:47Well, what happened to Czechoslovakia?
- 1:09:53What happened to who who got to choose in Kosovo?
- 1:09:58As I quote Maria Zapata from last night, who got to, you know, who who overtook them and divided them and still have kings there?
- 1:10:10Go back and listen to my my king's discussion on what we have done or well, we what the the NATO has done, what the Security Council has done in other states.
- 1:10:26And you should start with Kosovo. And you could go back even further than that.
- 1:10:31But what what here's what they've done, the Europeans, they've taken a semi realistic plan submitted in Alaska by Trump and stripped out anything Russia actually wants.
- 1:10:46And then act surprised when Moscow says no, because Moscow is not going to read it.
- 1:10:52So they had in Geneva, the U.S., Ukraine and the EU, Russia.
- 1:11:00There's a Geneva negotiation trap where Americans, Ukrainians worked in.
- 1:11:09Conjunction with. With, you know.
- 1:11:15Just themselves didn't invite the Russians and then Peskov and Ushakov.
- 1:11:21Moscow knows about these talks, but they weren't formally invited and they didn't receive any official text.
- 1:11:28Lavrov said he hasn't seen any part of it. No one's communicated anything to us.
- 1:11:35They're designing a peace plan like it's a group project where you don't have to invite the guy that you want to make peace with.
- 1:11:45The unmovable sticking point, several of them, actually, but one of the big ones, one of the key provisions in the new plan tries to postpone NATO like not like Trump.
- 1:11:58The original plan was no NATO for these guys.
- 1:12:02They want to freeze the conflict now and talk about NATO membership later.
- 1:12:07But for Moscow is backward.
- 1:12:10NATO expansion and Ukraine's neutrality are the poor, one of the core issues for them.
- 1:12:17So here we are at an obvious impasse.
- 1:12:20You know, there is never going to resolve.
- 1:12:23And so Ukraine is going to capitulate unless NATO expands.
- 1:12:30You know, NATO increases the level of conflict.
- 1:12:34So, you know.
- 1:12:38The West says cease fire now.
- 1:12:41We'll talk about NATO later.
- 1:12:43Russia says, no, you talk NATO now and security guarantees first.
- 1:12:48Or there is no point in talking about any of this.
- 1:12:51And so, you know, let's look at what Russia's stated goals are in the transcript, both through Lavrov's commentary and Russia's conditions that they've been talking about forever.
- 1:13:07They want to demilitarize Ukraine.
- 1:13:10No NATO weapons, no weapons infrastructure on the territory that gets to point to Russia.
- 1:13:17Right.
- 1:13:18No housing of bases, anything like that.
- 1:13:21And they want a neutral and non-aligned Ukraine with no NATO membership.
- 1:13:26And more importantly, no NATO bases.
- 1:13:30And JR, I'm sure, remembers this because it was on the show that he was on when I talked to a representative on the phone from Missouri.
- 1:13:42And she said she had been to there were bases all over Ukraine that she had been to them.
- 1:13:49And I don't know how that helps the people of the lake, but that's what she did.
- 1:13:55And, you know, so they don't want any NATO bases or any alignment with NATO.
- 1:14:04Russia insists that Ukraine and the West recognize the territorial realities.
- 1:14:13I mean, they are what they are.
- 1:14:15Donbass and the other incorporated regions have voted and they voted to go with Russia.
- 1:14:21And then they want security guarantees so that Ukraine doesn't attack that doesn't go after them anymore, because that's what they were doing.
- 1:14:30They were slaughtering Russians in the Donbass.
- 1:14:33So. So Budanov was in the EU and he was the back channel that they were talking about in that interview.
- 1:14:42So Budanov is meeting Russian officials in the UAE.
- 1:14:48The head of the Ukrainian intelligence, Kirill Budanov, is said to have met Russian representatives in the UAE.
- 1:14:58So not not in Istanbul, not anywhere else.
- 1:15:01But they're discussing the 24. It's a back channel.
- 1:15:06But the prisoner they were officially they were talking about prisoner exchange.
- 1:15:11But Kiev is talking directly to Moscow on something.
- 1:15:15And this is a first in a while.
- 1:15:18Even as Zelensky's public line is no negation negotiation without our ultimatums being met.
- 1:15:27And his ultimatums aren't going to get very far.
- 1:15:30So what this Budanov thing probably means is that there's going to be some kind of instant or immediate POW changes.
- 1:15:40Dead body changes.
- 1:15:43So it'd be safer for both sides if you can package all this as humanitarian.
- 1:15:48And there's possibly a temporary ceasefire, safe quarters and other technical arrangements.
- 1:15:55But falling short of full peace.
- 1:15:58So when they tell you there are no talks going on, there are already talks.
- 1:16:03You just don't know all of the things that they are talking about or what they're willing to admit publicly.
- 1:16:12So it's important for.
- 1:16:16Remember the one that said that nobody can be prosecuted.
- 1:16:20That's important for all these people who stole all this money under the guise of democracy in Ukraine.
- 1:16:27So when they tell you that there are no talks going on, they're full of crap.
- 1:16:34And what are they saying inside Ukrainian leadership, though?
- 1:16:38According to Budanov, it does signal a fraction within Kiev.
- 1:16:45Because intelligence and military people who see the battlefield reality and want deals on concrete issues.
- 1:16:52They want prisoners, rotations, local ceasefires, whatever.
- 1:16:57But the political class around Zelensky is still selling this BS total victory.
- 1:17:06And, you know, these peace formula, victory formula, all of these that Zelensky has been pushing forever.
- 1:17:17So the people who actually send men into the meat grinder are already negotiating.
- 1:17:23But the PR team and teams in Kiev and Brussels really don't want to admit that.
- 1:17:30And, you know, Moscow has definitely rewritten who is killing these peace talks.
- 1:17:39That interview that I read you a part of with Lavrov and Ryzhanka, this press conference.
- 1:17:47You know, they talked about this high level of foreign coordination.
- 1:17:53And Belarus is a frontline ally for Russia.
- 1:17:57And also in confrontation with the West.
- 1:18:01And they were the mediator of the Minsk agreement in 2022.
- 1:18:07And the talks in 2022, the Minsk agreements were long ago.
- 1:18:13So we already have talked about those in detail and what he had said.
- 1:18:20Well, Lavrov did another interview that I watched with the Franco-Russian Association.
- 1:18:26A friendship between France and Russia is what they are allegedly discussing.
- 1:18:37Right. And so.
- 1:18:42I'm sorry. Lavrov tells the same thing.
- 1:18:46It's like a recycling show.
- 1:18:48But he's very consistent in what he says.
- 1:18:51And he'd said it again today.
- 1:18:52The West agreed in various Security Council meetings and in NATO texts to individual security.
- 1:19:04That means not strengthening NATO's security at the expense of others.
- 1:19:12In practice, NATO has been expanded all the way to Russia's border.
- 1:19:17Ignoring Moscow completely and ignoring their objections and warnings.
- 1:19:22Because we're the biggest, baddest bully on the block.
- 1:19:27And the Ukrainian crisis is the direct consequence of this decades-long Western behavior.
- 1:19:37I mean, it's absolutely true that this has been caused by what we are doing.
- 1:19:50That's what it is.
- 1:19:54So Lavrov described Zelensky's government as pursuing the extermination of everything Russian in Ukraine.
- 1:20:03And Lavrov always talks about this. Putin talks about it fairly frequently.
- 1:20:08The language laws are against Russian language.
- 1:20:11Attacking this Russian Orthodox Church and their pastors is bad.
- 1:20:21And then this Nazism glorification of people like Bandera who killed 100,000 people.
- 1:20:28100,000 Poles. 110,000 is what they say that the Bandera group killed for the Nazis.
- 1:20:37And so they still are fighting for the same realities they were fighting for back in 2022.
- 1:20:46You don't have to agree with them, but they're definitely consistent.
- 1:20:51And they've said, we'll get what we want one way or the other.
- 1:20:54If it has to be by capitulation, so be it.
- 1:20:59And so he says the SVO is a, well, special military operation.
- 1:21:08Is in response to this systemic discrimination against Russian-speaking and the failure of the West to back the Minsk agreements and the Budapest agreement, all of these things.
- 1:21:22And he loves to bitch about this.
- 1:21:27Is that Boris Johnson, you mentioned him all the time.
- 1:21:33And then the CIA director, Bill Burns, coming to Moscow with warnings in late 2021.
- 1:21:40Essentially saying that Ukraine will choose its alliances and the US will back it.
- 1:21:46Saying they're joining NATO, so screw you, basically.
- 1:21:52And that happened in late 2021.
- 1:21:55And Lavrov talks about it all the time.
- 1:21:58And then Boris Johnson took a trip to Kiev in 2022 and killed the Istanbul peace talks and said they will be with you the last Ukrainian, basically.
- 1:22:09So Americans and Britain and the British blocked peace when it was still possible back in 2022.
- 1:22:19So Lavrov said that and he says, so quit blaming Moscow for the continuation of this war that you guys started, basically.
- 1:22:30And Macron says France as an enemy versus reality person.
- 1:22:38Lavrov downright mocked Macron's line that Russia has chosen France as an enemy.
- 1:22:44It's complete crap.
- 1:22:45Nobody's ever said that or taken any actions in that regard.
- 1:22:50So he points to working with Russia even today with decades of cooperation and energy projects that get together.
- 1:23:00And he says it's Paris and Brussels that chooses confrontation under US pressure.
- 1:23:06And so basically, from my point of view, I agree with this.
- 1:23:12You don't have to spend 30 years doing business with somebody or not.
- 1:23:17And then discover that they're your enemy.
- 1:23:20If they're your mortal enemy, they have been the whole time.
- 1:23:24That's just politics.
- 1:23:26And, you know, it's no special revelation.
- 1:23:30The Western elites, he says, are trapped by their own propaganda.
- 1:23:35I agree completely with this point of view.
- 1:23:38He said that the Western political elite built their career on the slogan that Russia must be defeated and it's on the brink of collapse anyway.
- 1:23:52All we have to do is push them and they'll fall over.
- 1:23:54That's what Lavrov said in this interview with the French magazine.
- 1:23:59He said now they can't walk all that back without admitting that they misled their own voters.
- 1:24:06That is exactly where we are.
- 1:24:09We have misled everyone, just like always.
- 1:24:12We talk about democracy.
- 1:24:15We talk about dictatorships.
- 1:24:18We kill Gaddafi.
- 1:24:19We kill Saddam Hussein.
- 1:24:21You know, we're trying to get rid of Maduro and Venezuela, which is a totally separate topic that I hope to get to tomorrow night.
- 1:24:29And I mean, it's just a bunch of crap that they have going on.
- 1:24:33And Europe, of course, is all up in arms, you know, but they aren't defending Ukraine.
- 1:24:42They're defending their own bad positions economically.
- 1:24:47But energy and industry are killing them in Europe.
- 1:24:54Europe's pre-war prosperity is repeatedly tied to Russian energy, cheap Russian energy or raw materials.
- 1:25:03But now with sanctions and out of out and cut off Russian gas and the deindustrialization in Germany and everywhere else in Europe.
- 1:25:18These are self-inflicted wounds.
- 1:25:20These have nothing to do with Russia.
- 1:25:24But now they're making it even worse by prolonging the losing war in Ukraine.
- 1:25:31So figures like Friedrich Merz criticizing U.S. and NATO line and some European ministers privately admit that a Russian victory might be economically less catastrophic than endless war.
- 1:25:47But the EU foreign policy leadership, like Kaja Kallis, is painted as hysterical, inexperienced and more loyal to Washington than their own European populations.
- 1:26:01But that's not really true because they don't want to be loyal to Donald Trump either.
- 1:26:06They're waiting for him to collapse.
- 1:26:07So Europe is sacrificing its own industry, its own living standards of its residents to prevent peace that it could have had years ago.
- 1:26:19So it's it's just nonsense.
- 1:26:23If this is how victory looks, I sure would hate to see how defeat looks, you know.
- 1:26:30And I'm going to hopefully get to Maduro and the rest of Mirnagrad tomorrow when we chat.
- 1:26:42Let's see what the latest update is on time, because there were other people like only Russia can decide what happens to its own sovereign assets.
- 1:26:56And that frozen account in the EU said this was Maria Zakharova said, and she condemned President Macron who criticized the plan.
- 1:27:07She said those who were illegally holding funds belonging to the Russian Federation must return them if they do not want to be branded as European thieves and face the harsh responses for their crimes.
- 1:27:22She said on Telegram that was Zakharova.
- 1:27:26And she said Europeans must decide what they will do with the Russian central bank assets as they are held by Europeans, is what Macron said.
- 1:27:38So the bulk of these assets are in Brussels.
- 1:27:41And so they're not European decision.
- 1:27:44It would be the Brussels guy.
- 1:27:45So far, he said.
- 1:27:47So let's see what happened with Kiev was rejected the whole draft proposal twice today.
- 1:27:58And once it was saying because too few in numbers.
- 1:28:04You know, Carolyn Leavitt had some long ex posts that we may get to tomorrow.
- 1:28:09And then Lavrov's speech, they spent a lot of time on.
- 1:28:15And then Trump gave a deal.
- 1:28:18And what he said was that a peace deal in Ukraine is very close.
- 1:28:25He announced we're going to get there.
- 1:28:28We're very close to getting the deal.
- 1:28:30He said in the pre pre event at the White House today.
- 1:28:35You know, and Putin came out, too, and he said the spirit of anchorage, if it's erased from the plan.
- 1:28:48That Washington ends up bringing the talks with Russia, things would be radically different if they don't stay the same as they did before, you know, pre Istanbul.
- 1:29:02And let's see where else we can go here.
- 1:29:07We only got a minute left or less than that.
- 1:29:11Well, I appreciate you being on the show and I hope we can join again tomorrow night.
- 1:29:20And I am very glad that you have been here with me this evening.
- 1:29:28So let's see.
- 1:29:29I don't know how much longer we got here.
- 1:29:32Yeah, we should be ending up here pretty quick.
- 1:29:35Sorry about that. I'm doing it remote still from Florida.
- 1:29:39And I have a little trouble getting to where I was going to go.
- 1:29:43So I very much appreciate you being with me tonight and hope you join us again tomorrow.
- 1:29:53Have a very pleasant night.
- 1:29:56Goodbye.
