- 2:42Speaker 1: That's how win it has done.
- 2:44Speaker 3: That's right.
- 2:45Speaker 4: We can't have anyone freak out out there. Okay, he's
- 2:48Speaker 4: got a k bark and.
- 2:49Speaker 8: Polser got too far. I'm by winning.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I went here and I win there.
- 2:55Speaker 7: Now, what are you doing what it takes to win
- 2:58Speaker 7: a championship?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Winning? Well, then I guess there's only one thing left
- 3:03Speaker 1: to do. What's that? When the whole thing.
- 3:15Speaker 8: All right? I'm going to start with a weekend loser. Actually,
- 3:19Speaker 8: oh okay, we're not hot here.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Hey, segments called weekend one.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I know it.
- 3:27Speaker 7: And it's going to be anybody that gets invited to
- 3:31Speaker 7: the NFL scouting Combine and doesn't work out. Now, there's
- 3:37Speaker 7: some injury stuff there, and if you can't go, you
- 3:39Speaker 7: can't go.
- 3:40Speaker 8: I get that. Understand that.
- 3:43Speaker 7: There's quarterbacks that aren't going to throw. I even can
- 3:45Speaker 7: actually understand that one a bit. If you're a top quarterback.
- 3:48Speaker 7: You don't know these receivers. Everybody runs a route a
- 3:50Speaker 7: little bit different. You don't know these guys. You don't
- 3:53Speaker 7: feel like you could put, you know, your best foot forward. Okay,
- 3:55Speaker 7: I can even get behind that a little bit. But
- 3:57Speaker 7: if you get invited to the scouting combine and you
- 3:59Speaker 7: tell tell me, nah, I'm waiting to my pro day,
- 4:03Speaker 7: that pro day that you handwave into, not all thirty
- 4:06Speaker 7: two teams are going to be at that pro day.
- 4:07Speaker 7: I don't care who you are, I don't care what
- 4:09Speaker 7: school you go to. Right you might have twenty teams,
- 4:11Speaker 7: you might have twenty five. You're not gonna have all
- 4:13Speaker 7: thirty two. And if for some unknown reason you have
- 4:16Speaker 7: all thirty two, it might be a regional scout counting
- 4:20Speaker 7: as one of those all thirty two, not the GM,
- 4:22Speaker 7: not the head coach.
- 4:24Speaker 8: You have an opportunity to be out in front.
- 4:25Speaker 7: Of everybody, every person that matters really in the National
- 4:29Speaker 7: Football League, and you decide not to work out. Is
- 4:34Speaker 7: it because you don't think it's gonna be good? Is
- 4:38Speaker 7: it because you're scared to compete against your peers again?
- 4:41Speaker 7: Injuries are one thing. If you don't feel one hundred
- 4:42Speaker 7: percent I understand that, but some guys are just not
- 4:45Speaker 7: doing it because they want to save it for their
- 4:47Speaker 7: pro day, which they feel like they're gonna have better
- 4:49Speaker 7: numbers in their environment. It's not what this job's about.
- 4:52Speaker 7: The NFL is not easy. The NFL's hard. It's real hard,
- 4:55Speaker 7: and it's always about competing. You compete every single day
- 4:57Speaker 7: in the National Football League. And if you don't right,
- 5:01Speaker 7: if you don't play well on Monday, when you walk
- 5:04Speaker 7: into meetings, your position group's going to be working out
- 5:06Speaker 7: on the practice field free agents that they're trying to
- 5:09Speaker 7: sign to take your spot.
- 5:10Speaker 8: That's what it is.
- 5:11Speaker 7: It's like that every single week you have a chance
- 5:14Speaker 7: to go out there and show your body of work,
- 5:17Speaker 7: like I'm just here for the interviews. The NFL should
- 5:21Speaker 7: actually look into that. And if you're just there to
- 5:25Speaker 7: do the interviews, like the Senior Bowl is done, then
- 5:28Speaker 7: you can't come here. And again that might sound harsh.
- 5:31Speaker 7: And if you're injured again, you got a injury that
- 5:33Speaker 7: people know about and it's been like on the wall,
- 5:36Speaker 7: we see it, we can confirm it, okay, But when
- 5:39Speaker 7: you just come there and you do injuries or no injury,
- 5:42Speaker 7: but you just want to interview. Okay, what does that do?
- 5:44Speaker 7: It keeps a guy like Kylon Black from Indiana, the
- 5:47Speaker 7: running back who just won a national championship, who was
- 5:50Speaker 7: a spark in the national championship game.
- 5:52Speaker 8: I know, I was there on sidelines. He changed that game.
- 5:55Speaker 7: He went to the Senior Bowl a week after playing
- 5:58Speaker 7: a sixteen game season for the national championship and compete
- 6:01Speaker 7: at his ass off. And you told him he's not
- 6:04Speaker 7: good enough to go to Combine. But we got another
- 6:06Speaker 7: fourth or fifth round running back who sits there in
- 6:08Speaker 7: front of me and says, now, I'm not gonna do
- 6:10Speaker 7: anything today. I'm gonna wait for the pro day, your
- 6:12Speaker 7: fourth round pick maybe, and you're gonna wait till your
- 6:16Speaker 7: pro day. That guy would have walked to Indianapolis to
- 6:19Speaker 7: be in your shoes. I don't understand ring, and he's
- 6:23Speaker 7: got a ring. I don't understand why you go there
- 6:26Speaker 7: and don't compete. It makes no sense. Even if you
- 6:30Speaker 7: don't do the forties and the cones and all that.
- 6:33Speaker 7: I would because again, all thirty two teams are there
- 6:37Speaker 7: to watch you do it, but you do the football drills.
- 6:42Speaker 8: I can even get behind that.
- 6:43Speaker 7: Okay, he didn't want to compete there, but he's competing
- 6:45Speaker 7: out there on the field with.
- 6:46Speaker 8: The football drills.
- 6:47Speaker 7: Okay, Well, when you just go and you're like, nah,
- 6:49Speaker 7: I'm good, what are you doing? You'll never have an
- 6:55Speaker 7: opportunity to be in front of those people that you're
- 6:58Speaker 7: in front of ever again in your entire life, your
- 7:01Speaker 7: entire life. It will never happen in your pro day,
- 7:03Speaker 7: will not have those people there. And you know what's
- 7:06Speaker 7: happened to me, It probably happened to Matt. People that
- 7:10Speaker 7: were at the combine that didn't draft you remember you
- 7:14Speaker 7: at the combine. They remember your interview, They remember a
- 7:16Speaker 7: drill you did. And when you're a free agent, you
- 7:19Speaker 7: don't think NFL teams go all the way back to that.
- 7:21Speaker 7: You're foolish if you don't think so, they'll go all
- 7:23Speaker 7: the way back. Hey, we remember we interviewed you. Hey,
- 7:25Speaker 7: we remember that l drill that you ran. We remember
- 7:28Speaker 7: that workout you having filled in Indian and that was
- 7:30Speaker 7: one of the reasons we brought you in here. If
- 7:33Speaker 7: you're scared, go to church, if you're scared by a dog.
- 7:37Speaker 7: But if you're scared, don't get invited to the NFL
- 7:39Speaker 7: Combine because you're taking a spot from somebody that would
- 7:43Speaker 7: give up everything they own to be there and you're
- 7:46Speaker 7: just there to hang out and that should not be allowed.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Yeah, they should look into that stuff. You should have
- 7:54Speaker 1: to like check what you're going to participate in beforehand.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yeah you talk about the kid from Indiana. Yeah, take
- 8:03Speaker 1: a spot like that and let me let me just
- 8:06Speaker 1: piggyback on top of what you're saying from a quarterback perspective,
- 8:09Speaker 1: Like I saw a lot of quarterbacks post on social
- 8:12Speaker 1: media this past week in a ballot the NFL combine throw,
- 8:14Speaker 1: and I think it's all Chase Daniel's talking about how
- 8:16Speaker 1: it's the dumbest thing and it's not important because you're
- 8:19Speaker 1: throwing to new receivers and different angles and blah blah blah.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I can I can see the point of that. But
- 8:26Speaker 1: also the point of a really quality quarterback with good
- 8:30Speaker 1: arm talent is to be able to judge angles and
- 8:33Speaker 1: speed really fast. How many times do you go and
- 8:37Speaker 1: you get picked up on a new team, you got
- 8:39Speaker 1: a hold new set of receivers. How many times are
- 8:40Speaker 1: there fifty receivers working out on a Monday and one
- 8:43Speaker 1: of them get signed the next day and you got
- 8:44Speaker 1: a new receiver. The next thing. It's like, you have
- 8:47Speaker 1: to be able to And I learned that from a
- 8:48Speaker 1: couple of different coaches. They're like, I don't care who
- 8:50Speaker 1: your receiver is, Like, yeah, that's the first time you've
- 8:52Speaker 1: ever thrown to them. Why did you miss him? You
- 8:54Speaker 1: got to be able to judge angles and you got
- 8:56Speaker 1: to be able to judge speed, put those together in
- 8:59Speaker 1: a split second and make an accurate throw. And it's
- 9:02Speaker 1: a I don't care, go go throw to anybody. And
- 9:04Speaker 1: he said, you should be able to throw to an
- 9:05Speaker 1: eighty year old man and be accurate every single time.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Judge's angles, judge of speed. And I think it's a
- 9:11Speaker 1: great way to go see quarterbacks. Arm talent, arm talent.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Of course, you gotta be talented with the arm, but
- 9:17Speaker 1: you've got to be able to decipher those really quick
- 9:19Speaker 1: decisions really fast, and you got to communicate from your
- 9:22Speaker 1: brain to your hand. And the quarterbacks that choose not
- 9:25Speaker 1: to do it, I get it. Randa, dude, you're fine,
- 9:27Speaker 1: give me one one. You're good, You're good. But the
- 9:30Speaker 1: other guys go out there and throw what a Chase
- 9:31Speaker 1: Daniels say. He said, it is kind of a dumb
- 9:33Speaker 1: thing to like the throwing thing is dumb, I think
- 9:40Speaker 1: somebody else, but I saw a lot of a lot
- 9:43Speaker 1: of people saying that it's some stupid work up. No,
- 9:47Speaker 1: it's not quarterbacks judge and angles of speed making throws.
- 9:50Speaker 7: Yeah cool, I mean every quarterback is going to spin
- 9:52Speaker 7: it a little bit different when you're catching it too. Yeah,
- 9:54Speaker 7: like and I get it, like some of the tiy
- 9:55Speaker 7: around like from they catch a five.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Step like five step speed out to the out. Uh,
- 10:00Speaker 1: you're not gonna be perfect on that because people are
- 10:02Speaker 1: gonna come out of their breaks and it's like a
- 10:03Speaker 1: timing raut. Your thrown it before they break. But the
- 10:05Speaker 1: other stuff. Get out of here with that, all right,
- 10:08Speaker 1: we can win her LSU gymnastics team. Let's go.
- 10:12Speaker 8: All right, let's go.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Let's gymnastics. They took to the gym Friday night, number
- 10:17Speaker 1: two LSU facing number three Crimson Tide, and what they do.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Beat the absolute breaks off those girls. They beat them
- 10:26Speaker 1: one ninety seven point nine seven five one ninety seven
- 10:28Speaker 1: point six. That's what we call I think a blowout.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Caitlyn Chio leader another perfect ten. She won the all around.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Guess what she won? Vault, she won, beam, she won floor.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'm sure, she's going to the tape on the uneven bars,
- 10:41Speaker 1: she's probably going to the tape. But she won everything else,
- 10:45Speaker 1: my god, And they do it and then guess what,
- 10:48Speaker 1: not like any other weekend, they turn around, they got
- 10:52Speaker 1: something else on Sunday. Yep, they got the fourth Annual
- 10:56Speaker 1: Podium Challenge where they came on top. Alabama, North Carolina,
- 11:01Speaker 1: Arizona dominated. Guess what, kaylen ch another perfect ten. That's
- 11:07Speaker 1: three meets in a row. One, that's seven total perfect tens.
- 11:11Speaker 8: Good.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I think tying the LSU record for perfect tensoo oh yeah,
- 11:17Speaker 1: I forgot to mention that Friday night in front of
- 11:20Speaker 1: a crowd of thirteen ninety two LSU screaming fans. LSU
- 11:26Speaker 1: gymnastics continues to dominate, getting towards the end of the season,
- 11:29Speaker 1: getting towards postseason. We're shaping up, kayln Chield, let's go.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Like that.
- 11:35Speaker 8: Yeah, all right?
- 11:38Speaker 1: Beat Beate Alabama twice in one weekend? You kidding me? Boom?
- 11:42Speaker 8: How many people can say that?
- 11:43Speaker 1: Called it ten.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Tayo weekend winner?
- 11:51Speaker 8: Fun? I mean they're dominated, yeah, yeh good weekend.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Winning weekend winner.
- 11:54Speaker 9: Kate Anderson, Uh, Kate Anderson not only made his spring
- 11:58Speaker 9: training debut on Saturday against the Potters.
- 12:00Speaker 4: That was his professional debut.
- 12:02Speaker 9: By the way, too, he did not he did not
- 12:04Speaker 9: pitch in minor league baseball after they took him in
- 12:06Speaker 9: last summer's draft.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Give him some rest bringing along. That was his professional debut.
- 12:10Speaker 9: First inning, first inning, goes out there, punches out the
- 12:14Speaker 9: side and by the way, if you're curious, that included
- 12:18Speaker 9: Xander Bogarts, that included on Duhar and sheets got them
- 12:22Speaker 9: all in, the three professional hitters. She came back out
- 12:25Speaker 9: in the second inning, got into a little trouble. We'll
- 12:28Speaker 9: give up a single on a double. Was pulled after
- 12:30Speaker 9: that little lever let the inherited runners in. So the
- 12:32Speaker 9: line looks a little messy. But your first professional inning,
- 12:36Speaker 9: you go out there and strike out the side, and
- 12:37Speaker 9: do it against some veterans and he'll be long for
- 12:39Speaker 9: Kate and it's nice.
- 12:40Speaker 7: He's going to continue to figure it out. And that's
- 12:43Speaker 7: three like pros. It wasn't like three guys wearing number
- 12:47Speaker 7: sixty eight, sixty two, and sixty seven. That's three guys.
- 12:50Speaker 7: I mean, this guy's making over one hundred million dollars
- 12:53Speaker 7: on their contract.
- 12:54Speaker 8: So well done.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Weekend winning for me, I want to go to women's
- 12:58Speaker 2: college basketball. Guys, the Yukon Huskies are back. People kind
- 13:02Speaker 2: of just forget about them because they were so good
- 13:04Speaker 2: for so long. Gino Arim is still there. They won
- 13:08Speaker 2: their thirty one Uh they've made it thirty one and
- 13:11Speaker 2: oh for the regular season that they wrapped up this weekend.
- 13:16Speaker 2: This guy here like they're on their forty seventh consecutive victory.
- 13:20Speaker 2: It's the fifth longest streak in Division one history, five
- 13:23Speaker 2: of the top six streaks. Yeah, that belongs to geno
- 13:25Speaker 2: arium and the Yukon women's basketball program. They've outscored their
- 13:29Speaker 2: opponents by an average of thirty seven point eight points
- 13:33Speaker 2: per game, third highest in Division one history, trailing two
- 13:37Speaker 2: previous Yukon teams, both coached by Gino Ariama. Like, people
- 13:41Speaker 2: kind of just forget about the guy because Staley's won
- 13:44Speaker 2: Natties lately. Obviously killed Maulkey. You got the Caitlin Clark
- 13:48Speaker 2: fiasco that was the media storm a few years ago.
- 13:50Speaker 2: But Gino Ariama, like that team looking as good as
- 13:54Speaker 2: they ever have, thirty one to er.
- 13:57Speaker 8: Yeah, they're really good, really good.
- 13:59Speaker 7: There's there's some teams that could in a tournament situation.
- 14:03Speaker 7: You know, have a good game and beat them. I
- 14:04Speaker 7: don't think they're unbeatable, but they are by far the
- 14:07Speaker 7: best team in the country. But you know, they got
- 14:10Speaker 7: a face coach monkey at some point. You know I'm saying,
- 14:12Speaker 7: not saying yeah, nothing kind of like and we didn't
- 14:16Speaker 7: get and we didn't confuse her on O TV this week,
- 14:18Speaker 7: so she was able to go out there and coach yesterday.
- 14:23Speaker 8: Game against Texas. They lost because Flynn, you.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Didn't even get you didn't get a good question, but
- 14:27Speaker 1: you got her. I'm glad you asked that question.
- 14:32Speaker 9: Yeah, it was a big that kind of counts does
- 14:35Speaker 9: a good question. Thanks for bringing that up. I wanted
- 14:37Speaker 9: to talk about it, like, yeah, that's right on par
- 14:44Speaker 9: didn't get Yeah, Tally have good questions here smart. We
- 14:49Speaker 9: feel really good about ourselves when we get one. Uh
- 14:51Speaker 9: and a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if
- 14:53Speaker 9: you big news around Louisiana. I asked her a question
- 14:56Speaker 9: and she just said, I don't really know what you're saying.
- 15:00Speaker 9: So we took away two good questions for that us.
- 15:03Speaker 4: You're subtracting them as well.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, situation attracted two good questions for I don't
- 15:09Speaker 1: really know what you're asking. But she did answer, but
- 15:12Speaker 1: it's kind of on her. She answered it the way
- 15:14Speaker 1: Matt was asking it.
- 15:15Speaker 7: Right, okay, So like I don't know if that's she
- 15:18Speaker 7: ended up founding herself to the question that was asked
- 15:21Speaker 7: and giving it the answer that we were looking for.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Right, Yes, Okay, sometimes you just got to talk Shelf
- 15:25Speaker 4: through that.
- 15:25Speaker 8: That's right, you talk about man.
- 15:28Speaker 7: Shout out to LSU women's basketball team. They go on
- 15:30Speaker 7: the road win seventy two to sixty three against Mississippi State.
- 15:35Speaker 7: It was yesterday, so the Tigers man, ever since the
- 15:40Speaker 7: South Carolina game, right, you lose a very tough game
- 15:43Speaker 7: at home. Remember they go on the road against Soul
- 15:45Speaker 7: Miss A gritty victory there. Down the entire game, they
- 15:48Speaker 7: storm back, almost doesn't make a field goal in the
- 15:51Speaker 7: fourth quarter.
- 15:51Speaker 8: Great defense there.
- 15:53Speaker 7: You blow out Missouri, you blow out Tennessee, You get
- 15:55Speaker 7: a good road win last night against Mississippi State, and
- 15:59Speaker 7: now get to the SEC tournament.
- 16:01Speaker 8: So shout to coach Maulkey and the squad.
- 16:03Speaker 7: Looking forward to having her as we do every single
- 16:06Speaker 7: week here coming up in a couple of days.
- 16:08Speaker 8: Any more, winners are losers.
- 16:09Speaker 1: A loser for me.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Charles Bettiaco, give it up, Bud, like the dream is over.
- 16:14Speaker 2: He applied for another waiver to play at the NCAA.
- 16:17Speaker 2: He got denied on Friday evening. What a shocker that is.
- 16:21Speaker 2: I mean they were three and two in games that
- 16:23Speaker 2: he had played over that five game stretch, He's averaging
- 16:26Speaker 2: ten points a game. Like, look, man, I understand that
- 16:29Speaker 2: you're like, Hey, maybe my NBA career didn't work out.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I got a way to go make money. I'm all
- 16:34Speaker 2: for that, But you're the one that decided to go
- 16:36Speaker 2: to the NBA. Actions have consequences in everything you do
- 16:39Speaker 2: in life. You made the decision to leave school early,
- 16:42Speaker 2: you went to the NBA, it didn't work out. Sorry,
- 16:44Speaker 2: wish you the best, but it's time to move on.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Yep. Yah.
- 16:48Speaker 7: Second though, yeah, man, just come on, go live life,
- 16:51Speaker 7: Go go get a LinkedIn page, Andy.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Fredandaman does already has one. He's about to go one one.
- 16:56Speaker 8: It's right just.
- 16:59Speaker 1: To win dot com My guy, I got I got
- 17:02Speaker 1: one last loser, all right. This is a loser is
- 17:08Speaker 1: for all the people out there, myself included, that are
- 17:11Speaker 1: trying to be on the right side of history. As
- 17:13Speaker 1: an l s u traditionalist. For the people that hate
- 17:17Speaker 1: the backwards L you're a loser. This weekend there was
- 17:21Speaker 1: a big day for the backwards L crew. I know
- 17:23Speaker 1: the exact picture you're talking about.
- 17:24Speaker 8: Pull it up.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I gets a bad, bad weekend for the people
- 17:28Speaker 1: that hate the backwards out and think it's really dumb
- 17:30Speaker 1: at you. Lane Kiffin was at the gymnastics meet Friday,
- 17:33Speaker 1: So was Livy done, So was Lea again. He took
- 17:37Speaker 1: a picture together. Well, Taylor's about to pull it up,
- 17:42Speaker 1: Leo again. Levy Dune with a strong, strong, strong backwards
- 17:47Speaker 1: and it looks like then again had her national championship
- 17:51Speaker 1: that hand as well. It was a proud backwards ll
- 17:56Speaker 1: And look, it's going to be a tough battle, like
- 18:00Speaker 1: we knew, like when we when we put on the
- 18:01Speaker 1: armor to fight against the backwards L we knew it
- 18:04Speaker 1: was going to be tough.
- 18:05Speaker 5: Here it is.
- 18:05Speaker 1: We knew it was going to be a tough battle.
- 18:07Speaker 1: We knew it was an uphill battle. Now it just
- 18:09Speaker 1: got a little tougher. We got a band again, three
- 18:12Speaker 1: national champions a band together. We have to come together.
- 18:16Speaker 1: And look even has a right handed backwards though well
- 18:19Speaker 1: Lane Lane, Lane's el is just backwards, a backward. He
- 18:26Speaker 1: likes the backward el so much he decided to do
- 18:28Speaker 1: with his right hand. It doesn't make any sense.
- 18:30Speaker 8: That's all right.
- 18:30Speaker 7: Look, we got three national champions, right they did the
- 18:33Speaker 7: backwards l lane wins one here, flip that with a
- 18:37Speaker 7: ring on the other.
- 18:38Speaker 1: So it was a bad weekend for in this camp.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I think it can still be overcome, but it's going
- 18:44Speaker 1: to take commitment. It's going to take discipline, a lot
- 18:47Speaker 1: of mental toughness. We got to get to these people
- 18:49Speaker 1: and say, hey, it's not cool. Respect, respect the picture.
- 18:58Speaker 7: It's a big loss for you, but a big loss.
- 19:01Speaker 7: All right, we'll take a break when we come back.
- 19:02Speaker 7: Devin snow Aka hold the mail right here on OTV,

- 21:38Speaker 8: All right, let's get to our guy holding Mayo aka
- 21:41Speaker 8: Devin Snow. What's up, Dev? How are we doing? How
- 21:42Speaker 8: we living?
- 21:44Speaker 6: You always doing?
- 21:45Speaker 7: Fantastic? Glad to have you on as always. Did you
- 21:48Speaker 7: watch any of the NFL scouting combine did you walk
- 21:52Speaker 7: away with a guy that you're like? I hope to
- 21:54Speaker 7: see this guy as a New Orleans Saint when we
- 21:57Speaker 7: get done at the end of April and Pittsburgh.
- 22:00Speaker 6: Yeah, I think there's a few. First of all, the combine.
- 22:02Speaker 6: I love it. I'm obsessed. I don't know how people
- 22:05Speaker 6: feel about the combine these days, but you know, it's
- 22:07Speaker 6: always been something that like I don't miss it, right,
- 22:10Speaker 6: It's whether I'm locked in sitting down watching it or
- 22:13Speaker 6: like I'm around the house doing stuff. It's just like
- 22:16Speaker 6: that perfect thing. It's probably you know, the best way
- 22:18Speaker 6: I could describe is the combine is probably the closest
- 22:20Speaker 6: thing football has two golf, if that makes sense. It's
- 22:24Speaker 6: just really a relaxing background. Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, Like
- 22:30Speaker 6: just like the whistles, the cleet, hitting and ground Rich Eisen,
- 22:34Speaker 6: you know guy rich Eisen during the combine. Dude, it
- 22:39Speaker 6: just matches up very perfectly. You can miss an hour
- 22:43Speaker 6: of the combine, no problem. It's still on. You know,
- 22:47Speaker 6: it's always on.
- 22:50Speaker 7: So as somebody that was working twelve hour days there,
- 22:54Speaker 7: I can tell you it is always on. There was
- 22:57Speaker 7: something going on from seven in the morning and the
- 22:59Speaker 7: seven and night.
- 23:01Speaker 6: Yeah, dude, I mean, and it's just like the true
- 23:03Speaker 6: test of the American athlete, right, the fastest forty the
- 23:07Speaker 6: shuttle runs, the bench press, high jump, long jump. You
- 23:10Speaker 6: introduced to all these things when you're a kid, if
- 23:12Speaker 6: you do anything athletic, you know, you introduce these things
- 23:16Speaker 6: in PE class. You know what I'm saying. There's gonna
- 23:18Speaker 6: be one PE class with where they test you on
- 23:21Speaker 6: these things. So I don't know, it's just super cool man.
- 23:24Speaker 6: And yeah, it's like guys that you just forget about, right, Like,
- 23:28Speaker 6: I'll throw a name out for you. Wouldn't be mad
- 23:31Speaker 6: if the Saints drafted Hide and Reich from Navy. Oh yeah, bro, Like,
- 23:39Speaker 6: if there's one takeaway you could take from college shefferm
- 23:42Speaker 6: last year, he can turn an uber drip into a
- 23:45Speaker 6: form of a receiver. Right, well, this is why not
- 23:49Speaker 6: take a shot on a guy like Hide and right
- 23:51Speaker 6: when he is he projected to go to the late
- 23:53Speaker 6: six seven, I don't know.
- 23:54Speaker 8: Yeah that's Navy running back. By the way, if any
- 23:57Speaker 8: of our listeners don't know that.
- 23:58Speaker 6: Name, yeah so, and I don't know if they're gonna
- 24:01Speaker 6: play him my running back.
- 24:02Speaker 8: He can play some slot too, yeah, to your point,
- 24:04Speaker 8: dev Yeah.
- 24:05Speaker 6: So like maybe this is like the I don't want
- 24:08Speaker 6: to say Taysom Hill, but you know what I mean,
- 24:10Speaker 6: yeah something.
- 24:10Speaker 8: No, Taysom Hill is Haines King in this draft?
- 24:13Speaker 6: Okay that we got So that's another guy draft him.
- 24:17Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I know, I know it's one of your favorites.
- 24:21Speaker 6: Yeah. How does he not do something in the NFL?
- 24:23Speaker 6: Something something? It may not be quarterback, just whatever it is.
- 24:26Speaker 6: You know, I have so many names, man, I liked
- 24:30Speaker 6: the kid out of Texas Tech, the linebacker or David
- 24:34Speaker 6: Bay Yeah, Jacob, Dude, I was making all the players
- 24:37Speaker 6: in the game late in the season. There's so many
- 24:42Speaker 6: dudes I like. I mean, I like style is out
- 24:43Speaker 6: of Vandy.
- 24:44Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 6: Anthony Hill Junior is a guy I think that not
- 24:49Speaker 6: enough people talk about. I think he's got a high potential.
- 24:51Speaker 7: Yeah, good football, like you dev we caught up with
- 24:53Speaker 7: him for like twenty minutes on Tuesday. I believe it
- 24:57Speaker 7: was very good football. Like he was kind of played
- 25:00Speaker 7: edge rusher. He's played stack Mike Becker as well, so
- 25:02Speaker 7: he gives you some versatility.
- 25:04Speaker 6: Yeah, dude, So I'm excited, man, I think the Saints
- 25:08Speaker 6: have a chance to really like get some sleep of
- 25:10Speaker 6: playmakers after watching the combine.
- 25:12Speaker 1: You know, so you're you're talking about like watching it's great,
- 25:16Speaker 1: Like background fodder, just the combat you can lock in,
- 25:18Speaker 1: you can doze out. But like, it's amazing to me
- 25:20Speaker 1: the stories that can come out of it and the
- 25:23Speaker 1: public's reaction to different players and what they do, whether
- 25:25Speaker 1: it's good or bad. But you can work your whole
- 25:29Speaker 1: life and work your tail off for this, like one moment,
- 25:32Speaker 1: for this dream to become reality. Go to the NFL.
- 25:35Speaker 1: You can be a star in that same breath you consian,
- 25:38Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm sorry, no, okay, you can be the
- 25:40Speaker 1: best at your position, and you can be incredible and
- 25:43Speaker 1: be thought of as one of the best ever and
- 25:44Speaker 1: then something as simple as opening your mouth and talking
- 25:48Speaker 1: crumbles it all to the ground. And we kind of
- 25:50Speaker 1: see this with Makayle Lemon from usc Did you see
- 25:54Speaker 1: his interview. It's amazing that you could do all this
- 25:56Speaker 1: for your whole life and the something that's simple as
- 25:58Speaker 1: talking can knock your draft status down.
- 26:02Speaker 6: I didn't see the limit one, So what happened?
- 26:05Speaker 1: He just came off very strange. It was just a
- 26:10Speaker 1: weird situation at the court of public opinion. Isn't loving
- 26:13Speaker 1: it over there on the socials? A lot of opinions
- 26:15Speaker 1: about it, but it just he was called out in
- 26:18Speaker 1: it and with some of the NFL gems of scouts
- 26:21Speaker 1: are saying, what a disaster.
- 26:24Speaker 6: So he came off strangers in like he watch his
- 26:27Speaker 6: anime and stuff, or he came off strange.
- 26:29Speaker 7: Lying that's that's not strange anymore. With this draft class,
- 26:36Speaker 7: I think they all watch anime. If I picked up one, like.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Looking down and talking a lot of known sayings, a
- 26:43Speaker 1: lot of the word.
- 26:44Speaker 7: That you got back there if you're reading some of
- 26:46Speaker 7: the articles out there again, like you know, you got
- 26:50Speaker 7: to fact check some of the stuff, but not real
- 26:52Speaker 7: interested in being there or didn't seem interested.
- 26:54Speaker 1: In being there.
- 26:56Speaker 6: A because when the quarterbacks were playing, oh, when they
- 27:00Speaker 6: were going through that drugs you know, and he was
- 27:02Speaker 6: running rights, I was actually thinking about it. I was like,
- 27:05Speaker 6: he kind of looks like he's dedicated to running these
- 27:07Speaker 6: riots for these quarterbacks right now, you know. I'm just
- 27:10Speaker 6: like thinking about that. But yeah, that's odd. And the
- 27:13Speaker 6: other thing is like, all right, look at the like
- 27:16Speaker 6: the guy Cornell Tate, he runs a pretty mid forty, right,
- 27:19Speaker 6: but they it's like people know, they're like, okay, well
- 27:23Speaker 6: this ain't gonta keep nobody away from It's kind of
- 27:25Speaker 6: like Okay, who else ran a pretty slow fording Mike Thomas,
- 27:29Speaker 6: you know, like it's just you gotta look at it,
- 27:32Speaker 6: so definitely, but so many different athletes.
- 27:35Speaker 7: Yeah, I think the thing with Cardinal Tate that would
- 27:38Speaker 7: be my biggest question mark is and we talked about
- 27:40Speaker 7: this in our Number one dev He's never been the
- 27:43Speaker 7: number one receiver on his college team.
- 27:46Speaker 8: He's always been the two.
- 27:47Speaker 7: He's been behind Marvin Harrison junior, he's been behind Jeremiah Smith,
- 27:50Speaker 7: two incredible receivers right at the college level. But like,
- 27:53Speaker 7: that would be something I'd have to get answered, Like
- 27:55Speaker 7: I'd have to try to find a way to see
- 27:57Speaker 7: if he has the mentality to be a one. Now
- 28:00Speaker 7: with Chris Olave and Matt made a good point like
- 28:02Speaker 7: he wouldn't necessarily have to be the one, but if
- 28:06Speaker 7: I'm drafting a guy in top ten at receiver, you
- 28:09Speaker 7: kind of got to be one for me to justify
- 28:11Speaker 7: the pick, right because it's.
- 28:13Speaker 6: The top ten ten. Yeah, Like with receivers that people
- 28:17Speaker 6: are drafting the top ten, are they not thinking, hey,
- 28:19Speaker 6: this is our number one guy, right, you know? So Yeah,
- 28:22Speaker 6: and that's what's weird because you've got three receivers where
- 28:25Speaker 6: or at least two Makai Lemon and Kate to where
- 28:28Speaker 6: you don't really now if they are one or two
- 28:31Speaker 6: or even I you know, I don't know. Man. The
- 28:33Speaker 6: way I look at it is any type of offensive help.
- 28:37Speaker 6: It's the quarterback from me, right, because Shuck is gonna
- 28:40Speaker 6: bring the best out of these players, right. So I'm
- 28:42Speaker 6: just kind of just believing in that. And it's like,
- 28:44Speaker 6: if they do decide to go receiver, I won't be mad, dude,
- 28:49Speaker 6: if they get a defensive dog that slips to them,
- 28:51Speaker 6: which I'm starting to feel like that may happen too,
- 28:55Speaker 6: like just a Sunny Styles, you know, would you pass
- 28:58Speaker 6: that up?
- 28:59Speaker 8: I don't know, I personally would not. I think Sonny
- 29:02Speaker 8: Styles was my biggest winner of the entire combine.
- 29:04Speaker 6: Yeah, dude, So who's gonna slip? Who's gonna go after
- 29:07Speaker 6: Jeremiah Love too soon on? I don't want to say
- 29:10Speaker 6: like early, So I guess I guess we'll see. Man,
- 29:15Speaker 6: It's cool you can tell callim Moore is locked into
- 29:17Speaker 6: the combine.
- 29:17Speaker 7: Now, that's another thing that Style I know that I
- 29:21Speaker 7: didn't even seem like walking around in the hall anything
- 29:24Speaker 7: like I felt like he was always in the stadium.
- 29:28Speaker 6: Yeah, and he's just I don't know, he just seemed
- 29:30Speaker 6: he seemed locked in. I don't know. I saw a
- 29:32Speaker 6: few coaches, but Callim Moore just seemed like, man, this
- 29:34Speaker 6: is he lives for us. He just gave me that vibe.
- 29:37Speaker 1: There's probably a small chance this happens, Devin, But like,
- 29:39Speaker 1: I'm just wondering, can we plan like a celebratory get
- 29:42Speaker 1: together where we just all have some beers and some
- 29:45Speaker 1: drinks if Mickey Limis trades back and acquires some more
- 29:49Speaker 1: assets in this draft, because you talk about like the
- 29:51Speaker 1: thing the positions of need, like the sex, positions that
- 29:53Speaker 1: everybody kind of wants, receiver, edge rusher. It's pretty deep class,
- 29:57Speaker 1: but there's really nobody that's out there justifying an eight pick.
- 30:00Speaker 1: But you could justify a lot of that in the twenties,
- 30:03Speaker 1: and you can, and certainly you can also you get
- 30:06Speaker 1: another first rounder in the twenties and potentially get another
- 30:09Speaker 1: second or third round or something where you can take
- 30:11Speaker 1: another one. So like it's against Mickey Lomis's history and
- 30:16Speaker 1: not what he wants to do, but I think a
- 30:18Speaker 1: celebration if that happens would be warranted.
- 30:22Speaker 6: Yeah, I think out of all the positions. It would
- 30:24Speaker 6: be because the receiver, you can get a receiver. So
- 30:27Speaker 6: there's so many receivers, right, So if they could get
- 30:30Speaker 6: a second or something like that, hell yeah, if they
- 30:33Speaker 6: could get a third, yeah yeah, if they get a third,
- 30:37Speaker 6: that would be tend I'd be cool with that because, yeah,
- 30:39Speaker 6: the draft is deep, man, the draft is deep.
- 30:43Speaker 7: This draft might not have ten stars like Day one
- 30:48Speaker 7: instant stars at the top, but this is a very
- 30:51Speaker 7: deep draft. This is a draft where your team's foundation
- 30:54Speaker 7: is built. This is a draft where the second, third,
- 30:57Speaker 7: and fourth round is better than it has been in
- 31:00Speaker 7: the last couple of years.
- 31:02Speaker 10: Now.
- 31:02Speaker 7: The first round might not be there, but your team's
- 31:04Speaker 7: not built just on first round picks. A bulk of
- 31:06Speaker 7: your team is built in the second, third, fourth round,
- 31:10Speaker 7: even the fifth round. Sometimes, who did you hit on
- 31:12Speaker 7: in those rounds? We've seen it in New Orleans and
- 31:14Speaker 7: we've seen it kind of all over a place there death.
- 31:17Speaker 6: Yeah. And then another thing about the receivers too, is
- 31:19Speaker 6: like I'm looking at all these names and seeing where
- 31:23Speaker 6: they're going from. I saw a name like Eric Mcallis.
- 31:26Speaker 6: I believe he played at what TCU. Dude, I watched
- 31:28Speaker 6: this guy last year he had a game where he
- 31:31Speaker 6: had like two hundred and seventy yards received and you know,
- 31:34Speaker 6: like and he's protective to go late. So a guy
- 31:37Speaker 6: like Zachariah Branch, you know, you know, he's pretty good.
- 31:41Speaker 6: There's a lot of receivers, you know, hide and rich
- 31:44Speaker 6: whatever he put running back or see whatever. But there's
- 31:46Speaker 6: a bunch of different weapons you could apply it like
- 31:49Speaker 6: way past the first.
- 31:52Speaker 8: No question about me. It's a good receiver class.
- 31:55Speaker 7: I think it's got a lot of depth to Zachary
- 31:56Speaker 7: Branch is another guy that's very intriguing. Twenty round twenty
- 32:01Speaker 7: reps at his size of two twenty five that's also impressive.
- 32:04Speaker 7: How to impressive forty so receiver edge rusher. The good
- 32:07Speaker 7: news is for a lot of the position needs the
- 32:10Speaker 7: Saints need. That's where the draft is the deepest. That
- 32:13Speaker 7: before we let you go, we used to ask you
- 32:15Speaker 7: what you have planned on Mondays. Now that we've ended

- 34:31Speaker 1: The first time I heard of kings Leon was in
- 34:36Speaker 1: Port at your wedding, your friends. They were only like
- 34:40Speaker 1: famous in Europe Inport and treport that's it. But we
- 34:46Speaker 1: were on to something definitely. They dropped this outut a

- 35:02Speaker 8: Before anybody else does.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Good one.
- 35:07Speaker 8: Uh you said you had something for us?
- 35:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, what was it? You've heard of the scene
- 35:15Speaker 1: the Magician Oz that goes around different teams. Yeah, the Mentalist. Cool.
- 35:21Speaker 1: It is amazing, It's incredible. It's unbelievable. It really is
- 35:24Speaker 1: like he is definitely definitely deals with higher sources of sorcery. Yeah,
- 35:29Speaker 1: for sure, there's no way you can do this thing.
- 35:30Speaker 1: There's no trick out there. Well, I wanted to bring
- 35:34Speaker 1: a little TV version of The Mentalist here and do
- 35:37Speaker 1: a trick with you guys. I can't take did not
- 35:39Speaker 1: make this up. I actually learned this. Uh yesterday, I
- 35:44Speaker 1: was sitting in church yesterday. We were a heel place.
- 35:46Speaker 1: So I'm gonna credit paying attention.
- 35:47Speaker 8: Oh he did. Okay, that's like.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Credit Ham for this. He has like watching YouTube, Edge
- 35:58Speaker 1: and Mike. It was one of these things he kind
- 35:59Speaker 1: of give it. It's kind of like at the beginning
- 36:01Speaker 1: he grabs some attention, like yeah, I was like wow,
- 36:05Speaker 1: it was like so mind blowing. I kind of like
- 36:06Speaker 1: missed like what he said afterwards because I was like
- 36:08Speaker 1: thinking about it.
- 36:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 36:10Speaker 1: So y'all, y'all consider yourselves pretty good at math numbers. No,
- 36:15Speaker 1: I don't want to addition attraction.
- 36:18Speaker 8: Yeah I can.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I can be basic addition and attraction. So that's what
- 36:21Speaker 1: I want you to do. People here in the room,
- 36:24Speaker 1: and people listen it. I want you to again, I
- 36:27Speaker 1: didn't make this sense. I bring it here, O t
- 36:29Speaker 1: b aws. Pick a number, any number in the whole
- 36:33Speaker 1: wide world. Now you're gonna have to do a little
- 36:37Speaker 1: mental math. So pick something that's manageable for you. Okay,
- 36:40Speaker 1: pick a number. Don't tell anybody. I don't want anybody
- 36:43Speaker 1: to say anything. All right, So think of that number.
- 36:46Speaker 8: Okay.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I want you to double that. Okay, to double it? Yeah, yeah,
- 36:50Speaker 1: they're very good. No one's lost. Ye gonna get Yeah,
- 36:54Speaker 1: I'm still on board it. Now I want you to
- 36:56Speaker 1: add ten okay, okay to the double number to the
- 37:00Speaker 1: so keep track. Now, I want you to divide that
- 37:03Speaker 1: number in half. Okay, everybody good?
- 37:07Speaker 8: Yep.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Now I want you to subtract the original number that
- 37:11Speaker 1: you thought of from that number. Yep.
- 37:16Speaker 8: Is everybody there?
- 37:20Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yep? Is your current number? Five current numbers?
- 37:23Speaker 1: Five number world? Yeah it is.
- 37:27Speaker 8: Cheez and pizza.
- 37:28Speaker 11: That's a mentalist. How about how about people in the chat?
- 37:32Speaker 11: Was your number five? Not the magnificent ye mins five.
- 37:35Speaker 11: I started out with thirteen, Where did you start twenty five?
- 37:39Speaker 2: I was looking for inspiration. I saw mister Mike Alstadt,
- 37:42Speaker 2: so I went with forty.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Yeah, y'all. I ended up with five because I doubled
- 37:47Speaker 1: it to eighty and ninety forty five. Forty not a
- 37:53Speaker 1: big not a big deal. People do that just she's
- 37:57Speaker 1: that's just not a big deal.
- 38:05Speaker 8: How many times have you used that since? Yesterday?
- 38:07Speaker 1: That was actually my first I'll saving it. I came in.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I had I tried to. I had to like write
- 38:13Speaker 1: down the series of questions there and I so I
- 38:16Speaker 1: could remember it. First time. I didn't get five. I
- 38:18Speaker 1: missed a question.
- 38:22Speaker 8: I got five.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Matt raised his hand in the back.
- 38:25Speaker 8: He got like twelve, Hey, I got twelve.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Back here, Hello, I'm way off. I got thirty two.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I even did it with a fraction number. Yesterday I
- 38:35Speaker 1: did it with like ten and a half. Oh, I
- 38:37Speaker 1: got five. That's that's doing a lot there, that's doing
- 38:40Speaker 1: a lot lot. Somebody in the chat said they picked
- 38:42Speaker 1: fifty eight trillion. Good luck to them.
- 38:45Speaker 10: That's the trillion it is silk it get five sor right,
- 38:50Speaker 10: well done, Matthew, thank you, look at you.
- 38:52Speaker 1: That was fun. I really enjoyed that.
- 38:54Speaker 7: I do like the visual a half in my head
- 38:57Speaker 7: of you in church, you Lacey, the kids, and he
- 39:01Speaker 7: says that right, he goes through that, and everybody's like,
- 39:04Speaker 7: you know, pretty amazed.
- 39:05Speaker 8: And you're over there on your fingers to like one.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Two Threy finger told you perfect s a T score
- 39:15Speaker 1: in the math reading comprehension. Let's uh, let's talk about
- 39:20Speaker 1: that one.
- 39:21Speaker 8: That's the same for me. But i'd be mathing, h
- 39:23Speaker 8: my math, be mathing my English. They don't be English.
- 39:26Speaker 1: And so credit to a pastor my Hayman over at
- 39:29Speaker 1: hell and shut out. Fantastic. So somebody in the chad said,
- 39:33Speaker 1: fled after getting seven for the eighth time.
- 39:40Speaker 8: Uh, how's just keep happening.
