- 0:10Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, Welcome to Girls Gone Hallmark, a bonus episode
- 0:14Speaker 1: of Long Story Short the podcast. I'm Megan, I'm Wendy,
- 0:17Speaker 1: and today's episode is our thoughts on Curious cater Dying
- 0:23Speaker 1: for Chocolate from Hallmarks Movies and Mysteries Channel, part of
- 0:26Speaker 1: their Spring Fling lineup. No, that's that was last year
- 0:32Speaker 1: Springing to Love, Springing to Love. Yeah, do you think again?
- 0:38Speaker 1: We've had their trying to get viewers over on movies
- 0:42Speaker 1: and mysteries and that's why they put it Andrew Walker
- 0:44Speaker 1: movie over there. Well, I'm sure yes. However, these mysteries
- 0:53Speaker 1: movies are often turned into series, like there's the Aurora
- 0:55Speaker 1: ty Guarden Mysteries starring CCB, so it's not unusual for
- 0:59Speaker 1: them get big names over there. Sure. I mean it
- 1:03Speaker 1: is different than the Tyler Hines movie from last week,
- 1:06Speaker 1: like that was obviously not any sort of mystery type movie. Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:11Speaker 1: that was like a legit, regular Homemark Channel movie that
- 1:15Speaker 1: they put over there. But that happens. You know during
- 1:19Speaker 1: the holidays, we get regular Christmas movies on Movies and Mysteries,
- 1:26Speaker 1: so it's movies and mystery. Yes, I get it. I
- 1:30Speaker 1: was just asking. Yeah, yeah, I hear. Yeah, I don't
- 1:35Speaker 1: know their motivation. All right. Before we move on, now,
- 1:39Speaker 1: we gotta tell the listeners that we have an awesome
- 1:41Speaker 1: new Hallmark only Facebook group. Yeah, tell them it's popping
- 1:45Speaker 1: over there. We've got a nice little handful of people
- 1:48Speaker 1: who know their stuff about Hallmark movies. Yeah, and they
- 1:52Speaker 1: tell us what's what? Man? Yeah, I'm here for it.
- 1:54Speaker 1: It's cool. You could search girls Gone Hallmark and Facebook.
- 1:58Speaker 1: We're a private group. You have to request to be
- 2:02Speaker 1: in it, but we'll let you. We'll let you in. Yeah,
- 2:06Speaker 1: it's fun. Agree, We would love to have you join
- 2:09Speaker 1: us over there. Uh, let's start off with a synopsis
- 2:14Speaker 1: of Curious Caterer. All right, A single mom who's thrust
- 2:17Speaker 1: into the role of town sleuth to help solve a
- 2:20Speaker 1: friend's mystery death. Stars Nikki Deloche and Andrew Walker. Is
- 2:25Speaker 1: she thrust into the role of town sleuth or does
- 2:27Speaker 1: she jump in feats? Seriously? Seriously, I gotta say, like,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I enjoy Nikki Deloche. Oh, she's new to me. Like,
- 2:37Speaker 1: I don't think I watched a new movie from her
- 2:41Speaker 1: last year. It was where she used to ride horses.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I can't remember. I know your Friday my Lights was
- 2:47Speaker 1: in it. Loved her jacket, yeah, yes, yes, and her
- 2:52Speaker 1: sister worked in the barn yeah, at a desk anyway,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I liked her. I like her, I like her yeah.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Twenty twenty countdown to Christmas. She was in a movie
- 3:03Speaker 1: called A Cranbery Christmas that I liked very much. So
- 3:06Speaker 1: I like Nikki DeLoach. Also, you know, I love Andrew Walker,
- 3:11Speaker 1: and I do love and he's like a like a
- 3:14Speaker 1: top one two for me. God is so easy to
- 3:16Speaker 1: look at and he don't like this scruff and I
- 3:19Speaker 1: just wanted to like touch his face. God is so hot,
- 3:23Speaker 1: so zeaking of Andrew Walker. He hopes this will turn
- 3:26Speaker 1: into a series. And you know why I think that
- 3:29Speaker 1: could happen. Why because two reasons. One, Hallmark is a
- 3:33Speaker 1: know onne for turning their mysteries into series. We've got,
- 3:36Speaker 1: as mentioned, the Aurora t Garden Mysteries. I absolutely cannot
- 3:40Speaker 1: access the names. I feel like the dude from Desperate
- 3:43Speaker 1: Housewives has a series, Jesse something or other. We have
- 3:47Speaker 1: Crossword Mysteries, which stars Lacey Shavert like regularly or is
- 3:53Speaker 1: that has that ended? I think it has ended. Martha's
- 3:57Speaker 1: Vineyard Mystery, I mysteries I believe is the Jesse Metcalf
- 4:02Speaker 1: mystery series. There's also Hannah s Wentzon Mystery starring Alex Sweet.
- 4:06Speaker 1: What I'm saying is Hallmark likes a mystery series and
- 4:10Speaker 1: this lends itself to that because this movie is based
- 4:13Speaker 1: on the Culinary Mystery series, which is seventeen books written
- 4:18Speaker 1: by Diane Mount Davidson. So they could go next to
- 4:21Speaker 1: Serial Killer with like C A R E A indeed,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I'm spelling it wrong, well cereal like frut loops guys, Yes, precisely.
- 4:35Speaker 1: This is Andrew Walker's fourth movie with Nikki Delouch. Really, Yeah,
- 4:39Speaker 1: they've got great chemistry together. Wow. Yeah, I think so too.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I think so too. Okay. Obviously filmed in the British
- 4:47Speaker 1: Columbia area, including Vancouver. And I read that Andrew Walker
- 4:53Speaker 1: said he studied detective shows like True Detective from HBO
- 4:58Speaker 1: and Mayor of east Mayor of east Yeah. Do I
- 5:01Speaker 1: love so much that he included Mayor of Eastown because
- 5:05Speaker 1: that means he's studying like the Kate Winslet detective. Yeah
- 5:09Speaker 1: makes me happy. Yeah, I thought he had some real
- 5:14Speaker 1: detectivey like vibes totally like very short, m kind of grumpy,
- 5:23Speaker 1: little superior. Yeah, I thought it. I thought you played
- 5:27Speaker 1: it well. One hundred percent agree, I thought you played
- 5:30Speaker 1: it well. This movie also features Lachlan Monroe. He plays
- 5:35Speaker 1: Richard Korman, Goldie's ex husband, And if he looks familiar
- 5:38Speaker 1: to you, that's because he has two hundred fifty five
- 5:41Speaker 1: IMDb acting credits. That is the most I've ever seen
- 5:45Speaker 1: in my tenure as a Girl's Got Hollwark reviewer. To me,
- 5:50Speaker 1: a lot is in the hundreds. So he has been
- 5:52Speaker 1: in a number of things. You might recognize him from Riverdale.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I recognized him from Date my Dad. Indeed, he was
- 6:00Speaker 1: in Date my Dad as well. That was a real
- 6:01Speaker 1: deep cut. I'm impressed because he's only in the pilot
- 6:04Speaker 1: of that show. Really. Oh that's crazy. Megan and I
- 6:08Speaker 1: A little backstory here. We used to do a Facebook
- 6:11Speaker 1: live on Friday nights prior to the premiere Update my Dad,
- 6:16Speaker 1: which was on up TV. Yeah, up TV, And I
- 6:20Speaker 1: need to interject and say that we were contracted to
- 6:23Speaker 1: do that by up TV or just like popping on
- 6:26Speaker 1: and letting you know our thoughts on this show that
- 6:28Speaker 1: didn't last very long, No, only one season. It was
- 6:31Speaker 1: it was all right, It was a fun experience. Yes, sure,
- 6:34Speaker 1: it's great anyway, it's funny. A lot of date my
- 6:38Speaker 1: Dad actors and actresses show up in all these Homewark movies.
- 6:43Speaker 1: That is where our love of Matti Finocchio began. M hmmm,
- 6:46Speaker 1: and are just like as Cindy Busby. Sorry, Cindy. That's
- 6:50Speaker 1: all I have other than it wrapped filming on my
- 6:53Speaker 1: birthday March fifth. Ah, look at that. March fifth was
- 6:56Speaker 1: nearly a month ago. Yeah, quick, quick, quick, wow crazy
- 7:02Speaker 1: edit edit edit, Okay, what was your first impression of
- 7:06Speaker 1: curious caterer all that flirting for a pat on the
- 7:09Speaker 1: shoulder at the end. I have something to say about
- 7:12Speaker 1: that too. Later I got to say, I was like,
- 7:16Speaker 1: this is how it ends, Like I thought they were
- 7:18Speaker 1: gonna smooch in that. I was expecting a smooch like
- 7:21Speaker 1: I've never watched like a Hallmark movies and mystery movie. Huh.
- 7:27Speaker 1: And I was like this is My mind was blowing,
- 7:30Speaker 1: like this does not follow the same cookie cutter recipe. Yeah.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I actually rewound the end thinking did I miss it?
- 7:41Speaker 1: Because she watches him walk away, and all of a sudden,
- 7:44Speaker 1: I look down and I met an hour fifty nine
- 7:45Speaker 1: and I realized this is actually the end. Yeah. My
- 7:50Speaker 1: first impression is this was really fun more mysteries please,
- 7:54Speaker 1: I got it. Agree, I was like, oh my god,
- 7:59Speaker 1: it kind of like, so, what did you like about
- 8:04Speaker 1: this movie? This is a good segue. I gotta say, like,
- 8:07Speaker 1: I really liked the story mostly. It was definitely different
- 8:11Speaker 1: than any other movie that we watch on the Homework Channel,
- 8:15Speaker 1: like in terms of like being a mystery. Yeah, because
- 8:19Speaker 1: we haven't delved into the mysteries before, right, Yeah, And
- 8:21Speaker 1: I thought like it skewed more Lifetime, but it was
- 8:24Speaker 1: a little less gritty than Lifetime. Huh. Agree, I was
- 8:29Speaker 1: into it. I thought this was really funny in a campy,
- 8:35Speaker 1: silly way. It did not take itself too seriously. The
- 8:39Speaker 1: writing was fun. I thought Nikki Diloch and Andrew Walker
- 8:44Speaker 1: played really well on each other. And you know, just
- 8:49Speaker 1: the way she kind of gets in the way a
- 8:51Speaker 1: little bit. It gave me enough mystery that I kept wondering, like,
- 8:54Speaker 1: who done it? Like I couldn't figure it out, Like
- 8:56Speaker 1: I didn't know. I kept suspecting it was like the
- 9:00Speaker 1: her friend, the yes, dark haired I don't even know
- 9:03Speaker 1: what the girl's name was, but she was always in
- 9:04Speaker 1: the kitchen. Uh huh yeah, and then they find out
- 9:07Speaker 1: that they poisoned the shortbread and she was sitting there
- 9:11Speaker 1: with the short brand all alone, all alone. I thought
- 9:17Speaker 1: the food shots looked really good, and I was like,
- 9:20Speaker 1: is this a Giata Dala Renis joint here? You know
- 9:23Speaker 1: what I mean? Like, because she did The Love of
- 9:27Speaker 1: More last week? Right, yeah, I can whatever her production
- 9:33Speaker 1: company did that movie, and I thought the food looked
- 9:35Speaker 1: really great in that movie. I thought the food looked
- 9:36Speaker 1: really good in this movie too. She was like pattering
- 9:39Speaker 1: the begnets and the doing the chocolate, and I have
- 9:43Speaker 1: something to say about the chocolate later, but I thought
- 9:46Speaker 1: most of the food at that banquet looked fantastic. Yes, yes, yes, yes, okay,
- 9:51Speaker 1: all right. Finally, I couldn't believe that doctor Gentle pulled
- 9:55Speaker 1: out a gun. I was like, I was like, oh,
- 9:58Speaker 1: like seriously gassed while I was watching, because I did
- 10:00Speaker 1: not expect that from a Hallmark movie. Well, and I
- 10:03Speaker 1: loved how they opened with the penultimate scene of her
- 10:08Speaker 1: running through the woods, and then they flashed back for
- 10:10Speaker 1: days and then we get back to that scene. It's
- 10:13Speaker 1: just so different if you are used to watching the
- 10:16Speaker 1: Love Story Hallmark movie. Yeah, it's such a welcome change. Well, see,
- 10:20Speaker 1: that's what I thought I was watching was a love
- 10:22Speaker 1: story Hallmark movie, yeah, but set to a mystery, and
- 10:26Speaker 1: it wasn't. No. And so there are going to be
- 10:29Speaker 1: people who are listening to this, who are yelling at us,
- 10:30Speaker 1: that are going to be telling us that this is
- 10:32Speaker 1: what the mysteries are like. I have never watched them.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I think I've seen one Aurora t Guarden mystery because
- 10:37Speaker 1: my daughter really likes CCP. But this was the entire
- 10:42Speaker 1: format was new to me, and so not only was
- 10:45Speaker 1: it novel, but it featured actors that I loved and
- 10:48Speaker 1: it was such a nice break from the formula. Now.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I asked in our Hallmark group if people were rooting
- 10:59Speaker 1: for or his name Tim or Tom his name's Tom,
- 11:04Speaker 1: Detective Tom and Goldie, if they were rooting for them
- 11:06Speaker 1: to like get together at the end. Yeah, and some
- 11:10Speaker 1: of the responses. This was one of them from Gene.
- 11:13Speaker 1: She says it's too soon for a romance if this
- 11:15Speaker 1: is gonna be a series. Excellent point. And Rina said
- 11:22Speaker 1: that they have good chemistry as always, Bet she wanted
- 11:25Speaker 1: more conflicts between them, so maybe if the series moves forward,
- 11:29Speaker 1: we'll see a little bit of conflict in number two. Yeah,
- 11:33Speaker 1: I agree, we can't get straight to If we're gonna
- 11:36Speaker 1: have ten movies, I gotta have some tension. Yeah, you
- 11:41Speaker 1: gotta build up to it, right. Yeah. They did a
- 11:44Speaker 1: nice job of laying the backstory we know about both
- 11:47Speaker 1: of their exes. How funny was that scene when he's like,
- 11:51Speaker 1: I used to be married to so and so and
- 11:53Speaker 1: she's like so and so. I thought it was very
- 11:57Speaker 1: funny writing agree. There's a tweet about that line. Her
- 12:01Speaker 1: name's Jessemine, by the way. That's women get married. And
- 12:05Speaker 1: the tweet shows Andrew Walker and Nikki Delouch when he's
- 12:10Speaker 1: revealing that moment to her and she's kind of given
- 12:12Speaker 1: him the side, and the tweet says, when you want
- 12:14Speaker 1: to tell him he married a girl that eight paced
- 12:16Speaker 1: called the teacher mommy and cried to naptime because she
- 12:18Speaker 1: was scared of the dark. But no, you'll hold on
- 12:20Speaker 1: to that one for a little while. That's who wrote it.
- 12:23Speaker 1: His name is Stevie Coolest. Okay, cool cool coolest. Okay.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Let's talk about what we wished for. I don't have
- 12:32Speaker 1: many wished for. No comments, mostly a question in this one,
- 12:37Speaker 1: and it is would a detective really let some non
- 12:39Speaker 1: police person like get so involved in this case? And
- 12:43Speaker 1: he gave her so much insider information? Yes, and he
- 12:47Speaker 1: didn't know enough that she wasn't involved, right, you know,
- 12:51Speaker 1: a true detective brought her on the inside. I mean,
- 12:56Speaker 1: she could just be a total sociopath, total really good
- 12:59Speaker 1: at deflecting information, especially if she knows what you know, right,
- 13:05Speaker 1: And I'm like, hello, the cookies were in the car.
- 13:09Speaker 1: You made the cookies. Maybe you're a suspec lady. Yeah,
- 13:14Speaker 1: She's like, I didn't do that. He goes, I know, right,
- 13:19Speaker 1: I trust you, Okay, you know. Really the only thing
- 13:25Speaker 1: I wished for, and we've talked about it multiple times
- 13:28Speaker 1: already this episode, but I missed the romance. And I
- 13:31Speaker 1: honestly can't believe I'm saying this because we've said many
- 13:34Speaker 1: times in other movies it doesn't always need to end
- 13:37Speaker 1: with the happy ending kiss, we're in a romantic relationship,
- 13:40Speaker 1: and this time I really wanted it to. Yeah, but
- 13:43Speaker 1: I think like him walking away, I mean she did
- 13:46Speaker 1: kind of like I think he patted her on the
- 13:48Speaker 1: shoulder and she like grabbed his hand and then he
- 13:50Speaker 1: walked away, and they show that shot of her like
- 13:55Speaker 1: you know, so, I mean, I think it definitely leaves
- 13:58Speaker 1: the door open, and I think they have an almost
- 14:01Speaker 1: kiss earlier in the movie. I don't recall. They definitely
- 14:05Speaker 1: have some tension, some flortacious moments, but I missed it.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I felt I was left one cheated. I yes, you
- 14:14Speaker 1: were cheated. All right, let's get on to did you
- 14:17Speaker 1: see that? Hey, what the house is back? I told you,
- 14:22Speaker 1: I told you Adele's house. We usually see this as
- 14:25Speaker 1: hotel space, uh huh, but it was also a house
- 14:29Speaker 1: in previous movies we've seen. I don't remember it being
- 14:32Speaker 1: a house. I always remember it being hotel space. It
- 14:35Speaker 1: was a house in one of the Christmas movies. Oh okay,
- 14:38Speaker 1: I am certain of it. But I think it was
- 14:41Speaker 1: a community center at one point. Yeah, I think so too. Yeah,
- 14:45Speaker 1: it's beautiful on the outside the interior shots. There's no
- 14:49Speaker 1: way that's the actual interior of that house because it
- 14:51Speaker 1: looks completely different from everything else we've seen masquerading as
- 14:56Speaker 1: the interior of that house. So I wonder if that's like,
- 15:00Speaker 1: is that just like a whose house is that? I
- 15:02Speaker 1: don't know. I'm so curious, But it was like, oh, look,
- 15:07Speaker 1: there's that house we know. I thought this was really
- 15:11Speaker 1: funny and I laughed out loud in the scene when
- 15:14Speaker 1: Goldie tackles doctor Gentle at the end and she says
- 15:19Speaker 1: to Tom, She's like, I was closer. I thought it
- 15:21Speaker 1: was so funny. But when she tackled him, I thought,
- 15:24Speaker 1: I was like, why would she do that? She is
- 15:28Speaker 1: with a like trained police Why tell you now? Why
- 15:32Speaker 1: didn't he act sooner, like you know before this, Like
- 15:36Speaker 1: where's his gun? That was my next question. He never
- 15:40Speaker 1: had a gun. I didn't see one. I don't I
- 15:42Speaker 1: don't understand. It wasn't real dark on ice cream, But yeah,
- 15:45Speaker 1: I never saw he never like pulled one out. There
- 15:47Speaker 1: was no like duel like he was never like you're
- 15:50Speaker 1: a policy. Are you telling me that a police officer
- 15:52Speaker 1: in the middle of an active murder investigation is not
- 15:55Speaker 1: armed at an event where all of the suspects are
- 15:58Speaker 1: going to be they're armed all the time. Every police
- 16:02Speaker 1: officer I know is always armed. And I don't like that,
- 16:06Speaker 1: but yeah, they're always armed. That when they were in
- 16:10Speaker 1: the like woods or whatever, like when he was when
- 16:13Speaker 1: doctor Gentle was like making Goldie go out in the
- 16:16Speaker 1: words and she's like I had to take my shoe off.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I thought she was going to turn around and whack
- 16:19Speaker 1: them with her heel. Me too. I was like, that's
- 16:21Speaker 1: a good idea, but then she just like elbowed them
- 16:23Speaker 1: and then tell me like, yeah, get them with that
- 16:25Speaker 1: heel in the forehead. Knock it out right. A tweet
- 16:30Speaker 1: from one Kiss Means Forever, says man, this movie has
- 16:32Speaker 1: more suspicious looking characters. In a train on the Orient Express,
- 16:35Speaker 1: I agree. I was like, is it the step son?
- 16:39Speaker 1: Is it the husband of Adele? Was it Adele? Was it? Well?
- 16:44Speaker 1: And here's what I like. I feel like there's so
- 16:46Speaker 1: many unresolved storylines going forward that in a series we
- 16:50Speaker 1: still can get more of what's happening with Adele and
- 16:53Speaker 1: her husband, who I think is an alcoholic. What let's
- 16:57Speaker 1: talk about that scene for a second when they're at
- 16:59Speaker 1: the charity lunch early in the movie. Was he drunk?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Is that why she had to escort him out of there?
- 17:05Speaker 1: She goes, it's eleven thirty in the morning or something.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Uh huh. I thought so. But then they never really
- 17:11Speaker 1: seemed to revisit that storyline, except for the fact that
- 17:15Speaker 1: they are building essentially a treatment center for addiction. Oh
- 17:21Speaker 1: uh huh, but I never saw them revisit it in
- 17:26Speaker 1: terms of Archie's addiction. Yeah, it was Archie an investor.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I don't remember. And I also felt like we had
- 17:34Speaker 1: an unresolved storyline of Adele's ex husband and her son's
- 17:38Speaker 1: father's mysterious death. Yes, so what happened there, I don't know.
- 17:46Speaker 1: It's it leaves the door open for a great some
- 17:49Speaker 1: more storytelling. Here's one funny thing, and I can't remember
- 17:52Speaker 1: his name, but it was the teacher. Oh yes, and
- 17:56Speaker 1: they're coming to the teacher to ask him to be
- 18:01Speaker 1: an investor in this wellness center, like he comes from
- 18:06Speaker 1: money or something. I just thought it was weird first,
- 18:10Speaker 1: like they're like, oh, yeah, let's ask the teacher to
- 18:13Speaker 1: be an investor in this wellness center. I was like,
- 18:16Speaker 1: do they ask him? Speaking of the teacher who's played
- 18:19Speaker 1: by Antonio Cayone, who will be familiar because he was
- 18:23Speaker 1: in a couple of the Evergreen movies, most notably Christmas
- 18:28Speaker 1: and Evergreen Bells Are Ringing, which was a terrible culmination
- 18:32Speaker 1: of that series. It was I feel badly for him
- 18:35Speaker 1: because he got a raw deal in that movie. But
- 18:41Speaker 1: that's another wide open storyline. We have this teacher who
- 18:45Speaker 1: seems to be somewhat beloved. He goes on this date
- 18:50Speaker 1: with Goldie and at one point she seems to suspect
- 18:54Speaker 1: him of being the murderer, so she leaves the date abruptly.
- 18:59Speaker 1: But prior to that, it seemed like, prior to her
- 19:02Speaker 1: suspecting him and going on this date, it seems like
- 19:05Speaker 1: maybe there were some feelings there because they had been
- 19:07Speaker 1: dancing around getting together, and she finally admits she hasn't
- 19:09Speaker 1: been a date in forever, so that seems unresolved. And
- 19:13Speaker 1: we find out that the dead woman is also his
- 19:16Speaker 1: former girlfriend. Yeah, that's that. There's so much happening. Yeah,
- 19:24Speaker 1: can can we talk about Goldiees? Truck says very good
- 19:32Speaker 1: catering gold Yeah, okay, go ahead, Verry good. It's like
- 19:39Speaker 1: a play on words. I know, but you think it
- 19:43Speaker 1: should be Goldie something Goldiees catering Barry. I don't like
- 19:46Speaker 1: Barry as very like. I don't. It feels like like youthful,
- 19:51Speaker 1: like use it for Teddy bears. Oh, okay, a sophisticated
- 19:54Speaker 1: catering operation. Well, speaking of that, I thought that she
- 19:58Speaker 1: looked very unstressed for like she's catering this like brunch
- 20:03Speaker 1: at school. And then she does the party and she's like,
- 20:07Speaker 1: actually not doing any of the work. Oh, we never
- 20:09Speaker 1: see any of her staff never, So who's back there
- 20:12Speaker 1: making this happen? Because when she's at the party, they're like, oh,
- 20:15Speaker 1: it's only the first course. Why is she not back
- 20:18Speaker 1: there making the second course happen? Yeah, I don't know
- 20:20Speaker 1: any that's not how that works. No, They're like, we
- 20:22Speaker 1: would like you to be a guest, and I would
- 20:24Speaker 1: be like, absolutely not, I don't have time for that. Hu.
- 20:26Speaker 1: She's like, sorry, I have my detective hat on tonight.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I am trying to sell this murder. And then Adele
- 20:32Speaker 1: makes her take her apron off. I didn't even realize that, yes,
- 20:36Speaker 1: because doctor Gentle comes over and he's like, I've been
- 20:39Speaker 1: sent by her hostess. Your food's delicious, and please take
- 20:42Speaker 1: your apron off. And he takes her apron from her
- 20:44Speaker 1: because she looks like the staff evident. Oh my gosh,
- 20:48Speaker 1: I don't get it. Okay, interesting, Are you ready to
- 20:52Speaker 1: rate this movie? I am. I have a real star
- 20:55Speaker 1: surger rating here. Okay, three two, one, three and a
- 20:59Speaker 1: half stars. Oh very close. I wrote that I would
- 21:05Speaker 1: definitely watch this as a series. One hundred percent agree.
- 21:10Speaker 1: You gotta get me in on that first one. I'm
- 21:11Speaker 1: not gonna go back and watch the Tea Garden series
- 21:13Speaker 1: now that there's been a bazillion of them. Like now
- 21:16Speaker 1: I saw the first one, I'm invested. Yes, absolutely, gimme more,
- 21:21Speaker 1: gimme more. Next week, we're back to one episode and
- 21:26Speaker 1: it is love classified. The Hallmark community is quite torn
- 21:31Speaker 1: on their thoughts about this movie because Hallmark had the
- 21:34Speaker 1: audacity to feature a same sex couple and you know
- 21:36Speaker 1: what's weird. So did a royal runaway romance? So did
- 21:41Speaker 1: what was the most recent movie with Mattie Finocchio, Oh,
- 21:44Speaker 1: just One Kiss? So did Just One Kiss? Now those
- 21:47Speaker 1: characters aren't in the preview, right, but apparently the Hallmark
- 21:54Speaker 1: community is up in arms. I just think it's so ridiculous,
- 21:58Speaker 1: sit down, so dumb. And I think too because like
- 22:02Speaker 1: those other movies that you mentioned, they were all like
- 22:06Speaker 1: side characters. It wasn't in your face. We're gonna see
- 22:10Speaker 1: some in your face, I think yeah, because they're including
- 22:13Speaker 1: that storyline as part of the teaser. And these are
- 22:16Speaker 1: the children of the main character, Melaura Harden. So yes,
- 22:21Speaker 1: I think they will feature more prominently than those characters.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I'm very excited for this movie. I think the previews
- 22:26Speaker 1: make it look great. Me too. I love Malaura Harden,
- 22:29Speaker 1: me too. So we will be back with our thoughts
- 22:33Speaker 1: on Love Classified next Thursday. In the meantime, hop into
- 22:37Speaker 1: our Facebook group let us know your thoughts on this movie,
- 22:40Speaker 1: and until then, happy watching Everybody go Bye Bye.
