Roy Drinkard, the nation’s oldest living Marine at 106, passed away leaving behind a legacy of service, business, and community leadership. A WWII Marine, he founded Drinkard Chevrolet and Drinkard Development, building shopping centers across states and boosting regional economies. For nearly three decades, he chaired Cullman’s Industrial Development Board and served Troy University’s board for over 25 years. Loved for his warmth, fishing passion, and family gatherings, he is survived by daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless friends. Funeral services are Friday at 1 PM…
