What does faithfulness look like when obedience costs something? In Daniel 1:8–9, a young exile resolves to honor God while living under Babylonian authority. His example challenges us to form our convictions by Scripture, express them with humility, and trust God with the consequences. This message explores Daniel's settled resolve and God's gracious provision, pointing us to Jesus Christ, whose perfect faithfulness brings forgiveness for our failures and strength to take the next step of obedience, come what may.
