- 0:00Speaker 1: The shiny headed among us unite. It's one more thing,
- 0:06Speaker 1: one more Perhaps you've never seen us before we had
- 0:14Speaker 1: a website and lots of pictures online or whatever. But
- 0:16Speaker 1: I am a I Jack, am a man without hair.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I'm a bald man. I don't have much hair. I
- 0:24Speaker 1: keep it shaved really short because I look like Bozo
- 0:27Speaker 1: the Clown. If it grows all but it does, it
- 0:29Speaker 1: won't grow more than like a quarter inch anyway, if
- 0:31Speaker 1: I really let it go.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Katie, you may not know this, have long countered Jack's
- 0:36Speaker 2: description of himself with and I have a lush chestnut
- 0:40Speaker 2: mane of hair.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Okay, that that is a colorful description.
- 0:45Speaker 3: I like that. What is it with decreasingly chestnut these days?
- 0:49Speaker 3: As I aye, Jess.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Well, I'm just so.
- 0:51Speaker 3: My husband is also bald, and he.
- 0:55Speaker 1: No not on purpose.
- 0:57Speaker 4: He shaves it because he gets the same the fur
- 1:00Speaker 4: that comes in along the sides, just above the air.
- 1:02Speaker 4: But he also has one patch that just grows right
- 1:06Speaker 4: on the heehad on the top of his head. And
- 1:09Speaker 4: other guys that I know that are bald have other
- 1:10Speaker 4: little patches that grow.
- 1:12Speaker 3: It does yours grow?
- 1:13Speaker 1: I don't have that. I don't have a.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Unicorn horn of hair that just grows at random.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I do not. Okay, so you brought up a hair
- 1:19Speaker 1: thing yesterday. What was that the head? Oh, the tattoo
- 1:22Speaker 1: on the head, which I had not heard about. So
- 1:24Speaker 1: I look at this somehow I got this Reddit feed
- 1:28Speaker 1: sent to me once on Reddit hair transplants, And there's
- 1:30Speaker 1: all these these guys that are going through the whole
- 1:33Speaker 1: process of getting hair, and they do a lot of
- 1:35Speaker 1: pictures from the beginning and then the first stage and
- 1:38Speaker 1: the next stage, over the months, over the years, and
- 1:40Speaker 1: everything like that. And I gotta say, ninety percent of
- 1:44Speaker 1: the time you looked better bald than with what happens.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I mean just scrolling through the pictures. Yeah, so the
- 1:50Speaker 1: universe telling you your hair was supposed to fall out. Yeah,
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm glad. I, for whatever reason, am not that bothered
- 1:55Speaker 1: by the fact that I don't have hair. But most
- 1:58Speaker 1: of these pictures, like, dude, you look way better before.
- 2:01Speaker 1: But I had never seen the hair tattoo thing. And
- 2:04Speaker 1: then so is that just like painting your head black
- 2:07Speaker 1: or brown or blonde or whatever color you want to
- 2:09Speaker 1: be your bald spot?
- 2:11Speaker 4: Right, they go in and they tattoo it so it
- 2:15Speaker 4: looks like almost a shadow of your hair. So it's
- 2:18Speaker 4: like the individual follicles is that you guys are both
- 2:22Speaker 4: looking at me like I have eight heads.
- 2:23Speaker 3: No, No, I'm trying to picture it. I can picture it.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I wonder if I can find me pictures.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Because it just it gives the appearance of much more
- 2:33Speaker 2: horror than you have.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Yeah, it just basically makes it look like your hair
- 2:39Speaker 4: is growing in.
- 2:42Speaker 3: However, it's not there.
- 2:44Speaker 4: But the woman that just tattooed my eyebrows onto my
- 2:47Speaker 4: face told me that apparently it wakes up your your
- 2:50Speaker 4: hair follicles and has actually promoted some hair growth in
- 2:53Speaker 4: bald men.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yeah, that could be bs. I've been lied to about
- 2:56Speaker 1: that before. I'll tell that story in a second. I'm
- 2:58Speaker 1: looking at these pictures though, the hair. What do we
- 3:01Speaker 1: think of this? This person, Katie? Do you she's a
- 3:03Speaker 1: good tattooist, but it sounds like bunk to me.
- 3:06Speaker 4: She's been doing this her entire life and has a
- 3:08Speaker 4: really big passion for it and is very good at
- 3:11Speaker 4: what she does. I believe her.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I'm doing this hair tattoo. I'm looking at the pictures.
- 3:16Speaker 1: This is the opposite of what I was saying about
- 3:18Speaker 1: the hair transplant things where almost all the pictures, I
- 3:21Speaker 1: feel like you look better before. This is for like
- 3:23Speaker 1: you got. If you have the really short hair like
- 3:26Speaker 1: I do, you buzz it down pretty close, but you're bald.
- 3:29Speaker 1: So this fills in the part where in the back
- 3:31Speaker 1: and the front where you're bald, and it looks fantastic.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Yeah, they do a good job.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It looks way better I'm doing that. I don't know.
- 3:39Speaker 3: See, you just look like a navy seal who can't
- 3:41Speaker 3: be troubled to have hair right.
- 3:43Speaker 1: And I know guys that have full heads of hair that,
- 3:45Speaker 1: for whatever reason, prefer this hairstyle. It is little maintenance.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I mean, I love the fact that I spend no
- 3:51Speaker 1: time or money on my hair and the wind hat
- 3:54Speaker 1: none of that ever has any effect on it whatsoever.
- 3:56Speaker 1: But I did have a brief period in college, gladys,
- 3:59Speaker 1: if you could do looking back in time. You've not
- 4:01Speaker 1: heard the story, Katie, where I actually had a perm.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I had a short I had a really short, curly perm,
- 4:08Speaker 1: which was kind of popular late seventies early eighties. The
- 4:12Speaker 1: white man fro was often cold. It was your flock
- 4:14Speaker 1: of seagulls days.
- 4:15Speaker 2: It was when when the wacky hair it was practically
- 4:19Speaker 2: required for a hair young man.
- 4:21Speaker 3: You need to post a picture of it.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I don't have any pictures. I got no pictures from I.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Don't believe that today I does. Come on, let's get
- 4:29Speaker 3: to work. There you go.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I wish I had pictures from college, but I don't.
- 4:34Speaker 3: What color was your hair?
- 4:36Speaker 1: Dark brown?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Okay?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that was not my perm though, Boy, are you
- 4:42Speaker 1: wearing a scarf in that photo? That's a sweater. That
- 4:46Speaker 1: is not my perm butter. But so I had a
- 4:49Speaker 1: little more hair than in that picture you just saw,
- 4:52Speaker 1: and they permed it so the perm kind of filled
- 4:56Speaker 1: in in the back where I was getting the bald spot.
- 4:58Speaker 1: You paint your bald spot. And so my hair actually
- 5:01Speaker 1: looked better during this brief period when I was nineteen
- 5:04Speaker 1: than it ever looked in my entire life. It's a
- 5:06Speaker 1: very brief period of time. But I couldn't afford it
- 5:08Speaker 1: to keep it up. But anyway, they would massage my head,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and they and they and they and they had me
- 5:13Speaker 1: pay for this growth thingy. That was way more than
- 5:18Speaker 1: I could afford either, also working at a radio station
- 5:22Speaker 1: and stuff, and and and she would massage my head
- 5:25Speaker 1: and she said, oh yeah, I can see him coming in.
- 5:27Speaker 1: This is fantastic, this looks great, and of course I
- 5:30Speaker 1: want it to be true. It's easy to lie to
- 5:33Speaker 1: people when they want something to be true, and of
- 5:35Speaker 1: course I wanted that to be true. I was like, oh, yeah,
- 5:37Speaker 1: the hair's coming in. I'm gonna have a hair and
- 5:38Speaker 1: a girlfriend before I know it. Because I thought that's
- 5:41Speaker 1: what was holding me back, not my impossible to take personality.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I thought it was just my hair. But so she
- 5:47Speaker 1: would massage my head and every week she'd say, oh, yeah,
- 5:49Speaker 1: we're really seeing it coming in. Here he has it's
- 5:51Speaker 1: really good. I finally decided I think somebody told me
- 5:54Speaker 1: that's a bunch of h and and yeah, and it
- 5:58Speaker 1: just you know, after several weeks, no thing happening in
- 6:00Speaker 1: them whatever. I can't believe myself that.
- 6:03Speaker 4: She's telling you she's seeing your hair grow back as
- 6:05Speaker 4: she's giving you a perm combover.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Basically, yeah, it was a perm come over. That's a
- 6:09Speaker 1: good description of it. That's what it was. It was
- 6:10Speaker 1: a perm comeover covered up spots. But you paint your
- 6:15Speaker 1: bald spot?
- 6:18Speaker 3: Do you have that? Do we have? Can do we
- 6:24Speaker 3: have that?
- 6:25Speaker 2: Actual audio? Michael, That's one of my favorite clips of
- 6:28Speaker 2: all time.
- 6:30Speaker 3: I don't do you paint your bald spot?
- 6:32Speaker 1: Paint your.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Now we're skipping.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Around, falling into the Larry King radio show, many many,
- 6:40Speaker 1: many many years ago. Paint your bald spot? What are
- 6:42Speaker 1: you talking about, sir?
- 6:44Speaker 3: Do you paint your bald spot?
- 6:47Speaker 1: I don't have a ball spot.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Sick.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I might actually get the tattoo, though, where do you
- 6:55Speaker 1: know anybody who does that? Because you just got your
- 6:58Speaker 1: eyebrows tattooed on.
- 7:00Speaker 4: I don't know anyone personally that does that.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But anybody listening to this check on craigslist.
- 7:06Speaker 2: You'll find somebody, any recently released inmates skilled at the
- 7:10Speaker 2: art of tattooing.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Random listener who would like to come into my own home,
- 7:15Speaker 1: I'll come to you Jack. Oh boy, Well, I guess
- 7:21Speaker 1: that's it.
