  Speaker 2: So we've got the big registration day this Saturday, twelve

  Speaker 2: o'clock down at the Parts and Game Fishing Club. The

  Speaker 2: actual comp runs from the twenty second of September to
• 0:33
  Speaker 2: the twenty fourth of September. But yeah, we're having the

  Speaker 2: big information day this Saturday, twelve o'clock and Game Fishing

  Speaker 2: Club just to give everyone all the information required to
• 0:42
  Speaker 2: the comp.

  Speaker 1: Well, this is the thing because it's quite involved, right,

  Speaker 1: Like you've got to you know, you're getting out there,

  Speaker 1: you're fishing for a couple of days, so people do
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: need that information.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right. Everyone's got a lot of questions and

  Speaker 2: you know where you can fish, what species, how do

  Speaker 2: we enter our fish, et cetera. So it's good just

  Speaker 2: to get down there face to face. You know, we're

  Speaker 2: doing some great giveaways and that as well, so come

  Speaker 2: on down if you want to register early. There's always

  Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, last year was the first year for Max's

  Speaker 1: Cars for a Cure. You guys did a phenomenal job

  Speaker 1: and all of that money raised, of course going to
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: brain cancer research and to help families in need in
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: the Northern Territory. And you and your wife know better
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: than most, you know just how difficult it can be
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: when you do have a young one who's going through
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: that brain cancer journey and it's a tough one. So
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: this support for territory families and support for those that
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: are going through what you guys have been through, it
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: is a massive help for people, isn't it.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, it definitely makes a big difference. It's a pretty
• 1:46
  Speaker 2: lonely journey when you're on it, so you know, we
• 1:47
  Speaker 2: know exactly what it's like firsthand, and you know, we've
• 1:50
  Speaker 2: got to feel a lot of people wanted to know
• 1:52
  Speaker 2: support local as well, so we're happy to know any
• 1:56
  Speaker 2: families you need to reach out to us, and so
• 1:58
  Speaker 2: you know, we want to do what we can to
• 1:59
  Speaker 2: give a little bit as well.

  Speaker 1: And last year, mate, I think I think you guys
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: were more surprised than anybody. We all knew that you'd

  Speaker 1: get a good turnout, but it was bloody massive. You

  Speaker 1: had so many people taking part and people were so generous,
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: weren't they.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, it was huge. It definitely blew us away, and
• 2:17
  Speaker 2: like we didn't really get a good gauge on numbers early.

  Speaker 2: But of course dar and being Dow and everyone sort
• 2:21
  Speaker 2: of jumped on the day before the competition and blew
• 2:24
  Speaker 2: up and down Borchsy. We never got caught little bit
• 2:27
  Speaker 2: short last year. I think we're a bit more organized
• 2:29
  Speaker 2: from there this year, oh.

  Speaker 1: Very much so. I mean the fact that you've got
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: this registration happening on the weekend, it just gives people
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: a really good idea of what they can expect. What
• 2:39
  Speaker 1: time do they need to get there on Saturday if
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: they do want to find out some more and and
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: you know what do they need to do?

  Speaker 2: Yeah, so twelve o'clock Saturday. And you know we've got
• 2:49
  Speaker 2: great stuff that's base painting for kids, jumping castles, the
• 2:52
  Speaker 2: free sausage shiesle to basically just rock up any time
• 2:55
  Speaker 2: between twelve and three come down. You know, we've got
• 2:58
  Speaker 2: some raffle tickets. We got a couple great was going
• 3:01
  Speaker 2: chance to win, you know, a thousand dollars worth of
• 3:03
  Speaker 2: great gear as well. So yeah, it's definitely definitely worth
• 3:06
  Speaker 2: the trip down.

  Speaker 1: And it sounds like you've got some phenomenal prizes for September.

  Speaker 1: I know that you probably can't give too much away,

  Speaker 1: but I've been recording some ads for you guys, and

  Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been amazing. I mean we're blown away last

  Speaker 2: year and then this year everyone's just going above and

  Speaker 2: year almost like doubled this year and everyone's just come

  Speaker 2: on board and it's been been fantastic. So there's some
