When Your Plans Change

We all make plans.
We plan our careers, businesses, families, finances and future. We set goals and imagine how we want life to unfold.
But sometimes, the plan changes.
A door closes.
An opportunity disappears.
A journey takes longer than expected.
Something we prayed for does not happen when we thought it would.
And we ask, “Why?”
Today’s Discovering Today reminds us of the wisdom in Proverbs 16:9:
“We may make our plans, but the Lord directs our steps.”
A changed plan does not necessarily mean a lost purpose.
Sometimes the change is protection…
