- 0:00Speaker 1: Inconceivable, inconceivable, inconceivable, inconceivable. I don't think of miss what
- 0:08Speaker 1: do you think of miss well? Inconceivable. You know, it
- 0:13Speaker 1: doesn't take a break even for the holidays, so we
- 0:15Speaker 1: don't have as much. Maybe, you know, I could be
- 0:17Speaker 1: wrong about that. Maybe it takes less of a break
- 0:23Speaker 1: because of the holidays because the offerings were a little
- 0:26Speaker 1: bit more quiet today. But we can still get you
- 0:30Speaker 1: some first of all, your junk food fast food update
- 0:33Speaker 1: for you. You know, the holiday time of year produces lots
- 0:37Speaker 1: of snacks and treats and things like that, and the
- 0:41Speaker 1: Little Debbie Company is no exception to that rule. In fact,
- 0:47Speaker 1: I think my wife bought we've had the Christmas tree cakes,
- 0:51Speaker 1: you know, those had the little Christmas tree cakes. And
- 0:54Speaker 1: then she got the Cherry Cordials the other day, those
- 0:57Speaker 1: ones that are chocolate an outs that's kind of cake
- 0:59Speaker 1: in the middle and it has like at the cherry
- 1:01Speaker 1: icing and the milia. So they had that. But now
- 1:05Speaker 1: grocery stores kicking off this holidays by letting you go
- 1:10Speaker 1: this is so perfect. Here we are three days from
- 1:12Speaker 1: Christmas and they're already lining up for Valentine's treats. Little
- 1:17Speaker 1: Debbie is launching its Valentines Day treat lineup. They have
- 1:22Speaker 1: a new addition they have Valentine Mini muffins as well,
- 1:27Speaker 1: and that they say they're looking forward to the return
- 1:31Speaker 1: of the Cherry Cordials. But like I said, they're already
- 1:34Speaker 1: out at Christmas time too. They were doing that as
- 1:35Speaker 1: well as you know, you could go with them at
- 1:39Speaker 1: Valentine's all right. A couple other things if you're a
- 1:45Speaker 1: fan of the movie A Christmas Story, you know the one,
- 1:50Speaker 1: you know, the Yellow House and the whole bit and
- 1:53Speaker 1: the bb gun and everything like that, you know Ralfie
- 1:56Speaker 1: and the Spectacles and all that kind of the nineteen
- 1:58Speaker 1: eighty three film. Well, a Navy veteran bought the house
- 2:05Speaker 1: sight unseen on eBay back in two thousand and four
- 2:09Speaker 1: for one hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Two years later,
- 2:12Speaker 1: after an extensive renovation that restored many of the details
- 2:15Speaker 1: seen in the film, the House from A Christmas Story
- 2:19Speaker 1: open to the public for tours. So under new ownership
- 2:24Speaker 1: in the last year, the house today has like an
- 2:28Speaker 1: entire homage the entire block to the film. Next door
- 2:32Speaker 1: is known as the Bumpus House, named for the dog
- 2:34Speaker 1: owning neighbors in the movie. The Street is a museum
- 2:37Speaker 1: brimming with the film memorabilia and all that kind of thing,
- 2:41Speaker 1: and it draws about thirty thousand visitors a year, and
- 2:48Speaker 1: many more people have lined up for it as well.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Now you can spend Christmas Eve at the house if
- 2:55Speaker 1: you want coste dollars for twenty five hundred bucks, you
- 3:02Speaker 1: can spend the night on Christmas Eve at the house
- 3:07Speaker 1: for Christmas story. So if you got the disposable cash
- 3:10Speaker 1: and you want to go that way, okay, good for you.
- 3:15Speaker 1: We've worried about drones right lately. When controlled and properly executed,
- 3:24Speaker 1: they look great. But if they're not all operated correctly,
- 3:29Speaker 1: bad things can happen. That's when it happened. In an
- 3:31Speaker 1: Orlando holiday show, Dazzling Festive Spectacle ended an injury to
- 3:37Speaker 1: a seven year old boy. Several drones unexpectedly fell from
- 3:41Speaker 1: the sky during the show. A few minutes into it,
- 3:44Speaker 1: multiple systems began dropping to the crowd. The boy was
- 3:48Speaker 1: hit by one of the falling drones. Sent to an
- 3:50Speaker 1: area hospital, he underwent open heart surgery. The outlet that
- 3:56Speaker 1: he was hit with the drone hit him in the
- 3:57Speaker 1: chest and it was said that everyone's natural instinct was
- 4:04Speaker 1: to duck and scatter, and then all of a sudden
- 4:08Speaker 1: it was coming right down on him. So they're hoping
- 4:10Speaker 1: he'll be all right. They've started to go fundme page
- 4:12Speaker 1: on that. But if we're going to do drone shows,
- 4:15Speaker 1: let's have it under control. Can we something like that? Okay,
- 4:22Speaker 1: here's another thing about the holidays. If you're wanting romance
- 4:26Speaker 1: and the holidays, be careful where you decide to have
- 4:28Speaker 1: your romance. And I'm just talking about just a regular relationship.
- 4:31Speaker 1: You see, holiday romances are the stuff, as we know
- 4:34Speaker 1: at this time of year, especially with the rom comms
- 4:36Speaker 1: and everything and all that sort of stuff. But not
- 4:40Speaker 1: for eighteen year old Marcus Kana, who is facing a
- 4:43Speaker 1: one year prison sentence for his summer fleeing. The construction
- 4:47Speaker 1: apprentice from London was on a holiday with his family
- 4:50Speaker 1: in Dubai in September. He met a fellow British teenager
- 4:54Speaker 1: at his hotel and began in a romantic relationship that
- 4:57Speaker 1: did become sexual the player. The pair plan to continue
- 5:01Speaker 1: their connection in London. When he returned to the United Kingdom,
- 5:04Speaker 1: her mother discovered the relationship reported him to the police.
- 5:09Speaker 1: In Dubai and he was detained and now looking at
- 5:12Speaker 1: a one year prison but they're trying to see if
- 5:14Speaker 1: they can work out of that. So that's that's under
- 5:19Speaker 1: unfortunate as well. And finally, we've talked about Chris collins
- 5:25Speaker 1: Worth on the show Lot and of course he was
- 5:27Speaker 1: working in the Sunday Night game with the Cowboys and
- 5:29Speaker 1: Tampa Bay last night. And Chris collins Worth can be
- 5:32Speaker 1: an acquired taste and a lot of people feel he's
- 5:34Speaker 1: also captain obvious. I'm one of those at from time
- 5:37Speaker 1: to time. But he's actually not a bad guy. He's
- 5:39Speaker 1: not a bad guy and not a bad analyst. But
- 5:42Speaker 1: he apparently took the step to mimic Dak Prescott's call,
- 5:48Speaker 1: the uh here we go call, you know, the one
- 5:50Speaker 1: here we go before it snapped. Well, Cooper Rushed does
- 5:55Speaker 1: a similar one, it's not quite as loud and all
- 5:58Speaker 1: that kind of stuff, and collins Worth starting doing it
- 6:00Speaker 1: and all this there's been a flood on social media
- 6:03Speaker 1: of fans and others saying fire collins words, don't ever
- 6:07Speaker 1: do that again, no more here we go. So there's
- 6:11Speaker 1: your here we go, and there's your uh, there's your inconceivable.
- 6:15Speaker 1: For Monday, we'll be back to wrap up Hour number
- 6:17Speaker 1: one coming up on Sports Radio AM thirteen under the Zone.
