- 0:26Speaker 7: Good morning.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Welcome to your Tuesday. It is the 27th of October.
- 0:31Speaker 1: It's Mix 102.9. Billy the Kid, Candace Lopez is here.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Producer Pooh is here. Cowboys showed up.
- 0:37Speaker 2: They're here, too.
- 0:37Speaker 5: They are, yeah.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I'm sure we'll talk about that, but it's our year, obviously,
- 0:41Speaker 2: after that dub.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Oh, obviously.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Duh.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Halftime, here he comes. Super Bowl, Jay-Z, let's go.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Right?
- 0:48Speaker 4: First thing I checked this morning when I woke up.
- 0:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Did the Cowboys win? Okay, cool.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, cool.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I kind of felt like, well, they should, but we'll
- 0:54Speaker 1: talk about that. Candace Lopez, good morning.
- 0:57Speaker 4: How are you? I'm good, except I basically crawled to
- 0:59Speaker 4: work today because literally as soon as I got on
- 1:02Speaker 4: the freeway by my house, cop.
- 1:05Speaker 7: Really?
- 1:05Speaker 4: All the way. All the way to work. Just right
- 1:07Speaker 4: behind a cop the whole time. I'm like, what is appropriate?
- 1:11Speaker 4: Can you pass a cop?
- 1:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:12Speaker 4: How much can you actually, you know, accelerate past one
- 1:16Speaker 4: that's okay?
- 1:18Speaker 2: I think it's weird if you don't pass the cop
- 1:19Speaker 2: if he's going in.
- 1:20Speaker 4: We just played that stupid game the whole time. I'm
- 1:22Speaker 4: speeding up. You're speeding up. You're switching lanes. You're not exiting.
- 1:25Speaker 4: And I'm, like, willing you to exit. Please get off
- 1:27Speaker 4: the freeway. You're on my same route to work. I
- 1:30Speaker 4: don't like this.
- 1:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:31Speaker 1: There was a cop when we showed up. Farmers Branch
- 1:33Speaker 1: Police was in the parking lot.
- 1:35Speaker 4: They must have been gone by the time I got
- 1:37Speaker 4: here because his homie was holding me up.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Oh, really? Well, no, I think the homeless guy that's
- 1:41Speaker 1: downstairs who hijacked and carjacked our coffee truck.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I think he's back. I think he's out of prison. Oh,
- 1:47Speaker 2: and he loves our building.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:49Speaker 2: This homeless guy just loves our building. We have good coffee.
- 1:51Speaker 2: So he breaks in. He'll steal a truck or two.
- 1:53Speaker 2: It's not a big deal. Just let him have a
- 1:55Speaker 2: cup of coffee.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:56Speaker 1: But the cops frown upon stealing trucks. So Candace Lopez,
- 2:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but it's OK. Do you do what I
- 2:02Speaker 1: do when there's a cop next to you, like sit
- 2:04Speaker 1: up straight and turn your radio down?
- 2:06Speaker 4: God, no.
- 2:07Speaker 2: You don't?
- 2:08Speaker 4: No, why?
- 2:09Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I do that, too. I put it on country music.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Is that in case? Country music?
- 2:14Speaker 1: It's my go-to. I put it on country music.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Why?
- 2:17Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I just always done that.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Shut up. I do.
- 2:20Speaker 4: I put it on country music.
- 2:21Speaker 6: No, but I have.
- 2:22Speaker 4: This is so stupid. I have pretend to sneeze before,
- 2:25Speaker 4: just like.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Wait a minute.
- 2:27Speaker 6: Wait.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Pretend to sneeze?
- 2:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:29Speaker 8: For what?
- 2:29Speaker 4: So they don't think I'm just like totally paying attention
- 2:31Speaker 4: to them 100%.
- 2:32Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Why is that so funny?
- 2:37Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Why does sneezing have anything to do with it?
- 2:40Speaker 4: I don't know because it just means like I'm not 100%
- 2:42Speaker 4: focused on you.
- 2:44Speaker 1: That's true.
- 2:49Speaker 6: Right.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Oh, fake sneeze for me. I want to hear.
- 2:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Oh, God bless you. And if you really knew you,
- 2:56Speaker 1: you'd know that's not your sneeze.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Oh, that's not it at all.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Wow, that's funny.
- 3:00Speaker 4: The funny thing was, once I got next to the cop,
- 3:02Speaker 4: I was like, oh, this is a dark cop. Oh,
- 3:05Speaker 4: it was?
- 3:06Speaker 6: Yes.
- 3:06Speaker 4: So I'm like, could they even do anything?
- 3:09Speaker 1: Sure, they still have, I'm sure. Yeah, but they mostly
- 3:11Speaker 1: have power over the dark rail system.
- 3:14Speaker 4: It just made me laugh so hard.
- 3:15Speaker 1: But I still think they're a peace officer, so they could.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Right. Do something if they had to.
- 3:19Speaker 6: Right.
- 3:20Speaker 4: But I'm not driving crazy. I just want to go
- 3:21Speaker 4: a little fast.
- 3:22Speaker 1: They will do something.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah, but they're not going to make a traffic stop.
- 3:25Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Well, good to know, guys.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Well, there you go, Candace.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah. Good to know that you were acting appropriate and
- 3:31Speaker 1: driving the speed limit the whole time. I was.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I had the sneezes, though.
- 3:34Speaker 1: God, that's so funny. I got pulled over for driving
- 3:36Speaker 1: too slow one time.
- 3:37Speaker 4: You did?
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah, because I was worried.
- 3:40Speaker 9: I was like, oh, man, what if I have any warrants, tickets?
- 3:43Speaker 9: And he just shined the lights. He goes, why are
- 3:46Speaker 9: you driving so slow? I was like, oh, I didn't
- 3:48Speaker 9: even realize that. He let me go, but he was like,
- 3:50Speaker 9: don't drive so slow.
- 3:51Speaker 1: What's up?
- 3:51Speaker 4: Right, that's dangerous.
- 3:53Speaker 8: It is.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I feel like it's more dangerous than someone speeding a
- 3:56Speaker 2: little bit.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Sometimes, yeah.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, you're going 45 in the tollway. You're
- 3:59Speaker 1: causing people to go around you. You're causing people to
- 4:01Speaker 1: freak out and be mad.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Right.
- 4:03Speaker 2: You got to go with the flow of traffic.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Totally.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I think that's so funny that you fake sneeze.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:08Speaker 1: That's hilarious.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Everybody has their thing.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Yeah, that's my thing.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Pooh puts on country music.
- 4:13Speaker 6: Yeah, I do.
- 4:14Speaker 4: And sits up straight.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah, sits up straight.
- 4:17Speaker 4: That's weird.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I just turn my radio down because I'm locked in.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I'm acting cash, though.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Well, in case they need to call you for backup,
- 4:23Speaker 4: you know what's going on.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Well, of course. Yeah, you're always on call.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Yeah, you hear the situation.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I got to hear if I hear the sirens come
- 4:29Speaker 1: on where we're going.
- 4:29Speaker 6: Right.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:30Speaker 2: You know, what are we doing?
- 4:33Speaker 4: Who is it this time?
- 4:34Speaker 1: Yeah, what do we got to do now, you know?
- 4:37Speaker 1: Producer Pooh, what's up with you? I'm so frustrated. I
- 4:39Speaker 1: went over to my aunt's house yesterday. And, of course,
- 4:42Speaker 1: to get my dinner from her that she cooks all
- 4:46Speaker 1: the time.
- 4:46Speaker 6: Nice.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Do you go over there every day?
- 4:48Speaker 1: No, every other day sometimes. That's a lot.
- 4:51Speaker 9: Just to check on her. God, I'd be so annoyed.
- 4:55Speaker 9: Not if you tasted that cookie, and I'll bring you some.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Trust me.
- 4:58Speaker 2: You've been saying that for 30 years.
- 5:00Speaker 9: But anyway, I'm talking to her. She's like, hey, I'm
- 5:02Speaker 9: going to need your help on Saturday. And I wasn't
- 5:05Speaker 9: even thinking. I was like, oh, okay, yeah, whatever you
- 5:07Speaker 9: need me to do. She was like, yeah, I want
- 5:09Speaker 9: you to hand out.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Candy to the kids.
- 5:13Speaker 6: Yeah, because.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I'm going to the casino.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Let's go. Wow.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I was like, why would you have to do that?
- 5:22Speaker 2: Just turn the porch light off.
- 5:23Speaker 9: That's what I told her. She goes, no, I always
- 5:27Speaker 9: hand out candy to these kids. And I was like,
- 5:29Speaker 9: she's like, but I'm not going to be here. I said, wow.
- 5:32Speaker 9: So you want me to waste my Saturday night? She's like,
- 5:35Speaker 9: you don't have to be here that long. I'm sure
- 5:37Speaker 9: it'd be like from like six to eight. And she goes, besides,
- 5:40Speaker 9: you ain't got no girlfriend or nothing. So just come on.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I'm like, man, I don't want to spend my Saturday
- 5:48Speaker 1: night over there.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Are you going to do it?
- 5:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going to have to.
- 5:51Speaker 2: When are you going to have to? You can't say no.
- 5:53Speaker 1: No, no, I don't tell.
- 5:55Speaker 6: No.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I can't.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I'll put a bucket on the.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Porch and be like, take one piece.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Help yourself.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 6: Right.
- 6:02Speaker 9: As soon as she gets on that bus, though, to
- 6:04Speaker 9: go to Choctaw or wherever she's going, I'm going to
- 6:07Speaker 9: probably be there a good strong 30 minutes and then
- 6:10Speaker 9: probably bounce.
- 6:10Speaker 1: A bus?
- 6:11Speaker 2: There's a bus to Choctaw?
- 6:13Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 1: They go.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Why am I not on that?
- 6:16Speaker 1: You didn't know that?
- 6:16Speaker 4: Why aren't you driving it?
- 6:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:18Speaker 9: And it's not just old ladies that would be on there.
- 6:20Speaker 9: It'd be like, you know, young people, too. I want
- 6:23Speaker 9: to drive to the A block away from their house,
- 6:25Speaker 9: and it's a nice bus.
- 6:26Speaker 4: What time does it leave?
- 6:27Speaker 1: I think it leaves like 5.30 or 6, something like that.
- 6:30Speaker 2: This morning?
- 6:31Speaker 1: No, no, I just missed it.
- 6:33Speaker 8: In the evening.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Hurry, get out of here, man.
- 6:35Speaker 1: All right, I'll see you later.
- 6:37Speaker 3: It's Texas Top Stories on the dance with Billy the
- 6:40Speaker 3: Kid in the morning.
- 6:41Speaker 6: Only on the new Mix 102.9. We've got a.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Lot going on this morning, Candace Lopez. What's up?
- 6:46Speaker 4: Well, the Cowboys were able to get the win against
- 6:48Speaker 4: the Eagles last night, 38-21.
- 6:49Speaker 9: Woo!
- 6:50Speaker 6: Yeah!
- 6:53Speaker 4: Three for 212 yards, three touchdowns, two were to CeeDee Lamb.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Javante Williams ran for a career high, 155 yards last night.
- 7:02Speaker 4: He was impressive.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Yeah, he was, but also the Philly defense sucks.
- 7:06Speaker 10: Yeah, that.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I just don't want to get too excited. The win
- 7:09Speaker 1: is the win, so congratulations to the Cowboys. They didn't
- 7:12Speaker 1: mess it up.
- 7:13Speaker 7: Right.
- 7:14Speaker 2: But let's build on this. That would be my coaching.
- 7:17Speaker 4: It's a step in the right direction.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Yeah. They're also, they have no quarterback. They have a
- 7:21Speaker 1: bunch of injured players. So let's take it for what
- 7:23Speaker 1: it is. It's a win we needed for like, you know,
- 7:26Speaker 1: our confidence.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 2: We needed it.
- 7:28Speaker 4: It was like our starters versus their like preseason, you know,
- 7:31Speaker 4: team practice squad.
- 7:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Practice squad.
- 7:34Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Cowboys will play again Sunday with the Arizona Cardinals come
- 7:39Speaker 4: to town. That's a noon game. So I'll finally be
- 7:41Speaker 4: able to watch an entire Cowboys game. I haven't watched
- 7:43Speaker 4: a full game this entire season.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Well, you know what? Good for you, granny.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I'm excited for it.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I don't know, actually, if you will, because the clocks
- 7:49Speaker 2: are going to change. You might be out. You might
- 7:51Speaker 2: be sleeping.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I know.
- 7:53Speaker 4: I mean, but I do take a nap on Sunday.
- 7:54Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. That's during your nap time.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Well, if the game's not going well, then yeah, I'll
- 7:59Speaker 4: definitely nap during the Cowboys game. Guys, Starbucks has officially
- 8:03Speaker 4: set Red Cup Day for this year, November 17th. That's
- 8:06Speaker 4: when you can get your free... reusable collectible cup. It's
- 8:09Speaker 4: always a big deal. They're also bringing back the berries
- 8:13Speaker 4: to glass.
- 8:13Speaker 2: They are.
- 8:14Speaker 4: Yes, big news. So they have a mystery version hitting
- 8:17Speaker 4: stores November 10th, and then the original one is going
- 8:21Speaker 4: to come back December 1st.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Wow, that's a big deal.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Yeah, remember last year, or was it last year or
- 8:25Speaker 4: the year before?
- 8:26Speaker 2: It was the year before.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Has it been two years?
- 8:29Speaker 2: Yeah, but I got you one.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Yeah, you did get me one.
- 8:31Speaker 1: That's right.
- 8:32Speaker 4: After I showed up and there were 10 people in
- 8:34Speaker 4: line at 4.30 a.m.
- 8:36Speaker 2: And they only had one? They had one. They had
- 8:38Speaker 2: one and you didn't get it.
- 8:38Speaker 6: No.
- 8:39Speaker 2: You were very depressed and I said, you know what, Candice,
- 8:40Speaker 2: I'm going to make it happen. And I did.
- 8:42Speaker 4: You did.
- 8:43Speaker 2: I really did. You could have sold it for thousands
- 8:45Speaker 2: on eBay.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I really appreciate that.
- 8:47Speaker 1: No problem.
- 8:48Speaker 4: It was a big deal.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe you could post it later on your story.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Okay, yeah. I will do that right after this. By
- 8:54Speaker 4: the way, the full holiday menu at Starbucks launches next Thursday.
- 8:57Speaker 4: So there's that. Also, guys, casting could be coming soon
- 9:01Speaker 4: for a new Dolly Parton biopic. So I guess a
- 9:04Speaker 4: while back, Dolly talked about making a movie about her
- 9:07Speaker 4: life and career. And she actually said she would like
- 9:10Speaker 4: to see Scarlett Johansson or Reese Witherspoon play her. You
- 9:15Speaker 4: don't like those options?
- 9:16Speaker 6: No. Reese?
- 9:17Speaker 2: I don't know why it should be one person and
- 9:19Speaker 2: one person only.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Okay.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Sabrina Carpenter.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Well, here's the thing. Rumor has it, Sabrina Carpenter is
- 9:26Speaker 4: one of the ones being considered, as is Carrie Underwood
- 9:29Speaker 4: and Hilary Duff.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Hilary Duff? Okay, well, Hilary can do no wrong.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So she'd be great at it. I mean, all those
- 9:36Speaker 1: options are good. I just want to see the biopic.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I think it'd be good.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Yeah, no, definitely. Sabrina Carpenter, for sure. There's also a
- 9:42Speaker 4: rumor going around that Sidney Sweeney could be a potential
- 9:45Speaker 4: casting option for that, but I'd love to see Sabrina.
- 9:47Speaker 4: She's so incredibly talented.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Is she?
- 9:49Speaker 2: She is, and she just looks like a little dolly.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:52Speaker 2: She did her hair the right way.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I can't stand when they do biopics and the person
- 9:56Speaker 1: doesn't even resemble the person. I need a little bit
- 9:59Speaker 1: of the person. I need it to look like the person.
- 10:02Speaker 4: No, I agree.
- 10:02Speaker 6: I agree.
- 10:03Speaker 4: I'll keep you posted though. I'm Candace Lopez. Those are
- 10:05Speaker 4: your Texas Top Stories.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Just get ready.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It's Mix 102.9, Ability Kid, Candice Lopez, Producer Pooh, 730,
- 10:13Speaker 1: Dirty Little Secret. We also got haunted stories today. We're
- 10:15Speaker 1: talking about real haunted places all week long around here
- 10:20Speaker 1: in DFW. And today, a very interesting one that I've
- 10:22Speaker 1: been to. You've been to, Candice.
- 10:24Speaker 10: I have?
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 10:25Speaker 2: We've all been there. Actually, a lot of people have
- 10:27Speaker 2: been there.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 10:28Speaker 1: They say it's extremely haunted. We'll talk about that at 8.30,
- 10:31Speaker 1: and then we'll give away cutting-edge passes. So right now, though,
- 10:35Speaker 1: we have a four-packet ticket to Universal Kids Resort.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Who's this?
- 10:37Speaker 8: My name is Allison.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Allison in Wonderland. What's going on? What are you doing?
- 10:42Speaker 5: I am an ER nurse, so I'm headed to work.
- 10:44Speaker 2: You are?
- 10:45Speaker 6: Wow.
- 10:46Speaker 2: So, okay, you're not in Wonderland.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You're in the ER.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Great. Well, hey, good news is you're calling number one. Congratulations!
- 10:52Speaker 6: Yay!
- 10:55Speaker 1: What's the craziest thing you've seen in the ER? Somebody
- 10:57Speaker 1: swallow something weird?
- 10:58Speaker 4: I probably can't say it on air.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Oh, that bad? Wait, something in the other end? Oh, no.
- 11:06Speaker 10: Oh, yeah.
- 11:08Speaker 6: Oh!
- 11:10Speaker 1: I knew it.
- 11:11Speaker 4: I had a feeling.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Because I know another ER nurse, and she told me
- 11:15Speaker 1: that people come in with issues back there.
- 11:18Speaker 6: Oh.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:19Speaker 5: Yeah, well, something was put up there and then got
- 11:23Speaker 5: suctioned all the way.
- 11:24Speaker 8: Up and had to be removed for surgery.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Well, thank you so much for what you're doing for
- 11:31Speaker 1: saving Pree's life that night.
- 11:36Speaker 2: I really appreciate you.
- 11:38Speaker 4: I saved a lot of lives, but that was not
- 11:40Speaker 4: saving one.
- 11:41Speaker 2: That's why, hey, it doesn't matter.
- 11:43Speaker 1: We love you for you and what you do, and
- 11:45Speaker 1: thank you for your service, because that is not an
- 11:47Speaker 1: easy job. And I don't know how he got that
- 11:51Speaker 1: up there. No, whatever. We all wondered. You don't want
- 11:55Speaker 1: to know.
- 11:56Speaker 4: I know.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Allison, you stay right there. You
- 12:00Speaker 1: deserve these tickets, okay?
- 12:03Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Not all heroes wear capes. They wear scrubs.
- 12:08Speaker 6: Wow.
- 12:08Speaker 4: What a job.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Yeah. I remember that night. Like it was yesterday. Candace
- 12:11Speaker 1: and I sat in the ER waiting room just waiting
- 12:13Speaker 1: for poo to come out. We were so concerned.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I'm like, how does that get? We don't want to
- 12:20Speaker 2: say what it was.
- 12:20Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Let's move on.
- 12:22Speaker 6: Yeah. All right.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Let's do real or fake news. Tonight we don't want
- 12:25Speaker 2: to talk about it.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Are you ready?
- 12:27Speaker 2: Three headlines. You've got to tell me which one is fake, Candice.
- 12:29Speaker 2: You're really good at this game.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Who will surprise us sometimes and win, though?
- 12:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Headline number one. Out of the three headlines, which one
- 12:36Speaker 2: is the fake story? Number one.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Scientists create technology that can send smells over the Internet.
- 12:43Speaker 6: Okay.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Scientists create technology that can send smells over the Internet.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Headline number two. Funeral home employee.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Puts dead man's smartwatch on to get his steps in. What?
- 12:59Speaker 1: Funeral home employee puts dead man's smartwatch on so he
- 13:03Speaker 1: can get his steps in.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Headline number three.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Man arrested after stealing 75 shopping carts to build a, quote,
- 13:11Speaker 1: backyard fort. Man arrested after stealing 75 shopping carts to
- 13:16Speaker 1: build a, quote, backyard fort. Three headlines right there. You
- 13:21Speaker 1: got to tell me which one. is the fake story.
- 13:24Speaker 1: We take it to Candace Lopez. We get you to
- 13:27Speaker 1: either choose first or to pass it to LaPoopoo.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I was feeling confident after that first story, but
- 13:32Speaker 4: I'm actually not, so I'm passing it to LaPoopoo today.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Wow, backdoor LaPoopoo.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Oh, no!
- 13:38Speaker 2: Which one do you think is the fake story?
- 13:42Speaker 1: I'm going to go with that second story, Dead Man Walking.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I don't think that's real.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:47Speaker 1: All right, you think that's fake? Yeah, lock me in.
- 13:50Speaker 1: You sure?
- 13:50Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 13:51Speaker 2: You want to lock that in? Yep. Let's lock it in.
- 13:55Speaker 2: It's locked in. Candace Lopez, back to you.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Man, all of these seem fake today.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I know. Is the fake story. I'm good. I'm very
- 14:02Speaker 2: good today.
- 14:03Speaker 6: You are.
- 14:03Speaker 4: Lock me in for that last story, the solid shopping
- 14:06Speaker 4: cart fort.
- 14:07Speaker 2: You don't think somebody in Mesquite?
- 14:08Speaker 1: 75? Is building a fake, or not a fake, a
- 14:13Speaker 1: real shopping cart fortress in the backyard.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Maybe like five.
- 14:17Speaker 2: 75, but this is.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Accumulated over time.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Nobody has room for that. It takes time to do
- 14:22Speaker 2: such a masterpiece.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Right. No, lock it in.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Lock it in. The winner today is, who won yesterday?
- 14:29Speaker 1: Candice did. Candice.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Can we turn it around? No, he cannot. Candice won.
- 14:33Speaker 6: Candice won.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Congratulations, Candice.
- 14:40Speaker 6: Thanks.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Excellent work. Yeah, you won. You want to get to
- 14:44Speaker 2: the real story.
- 14:44Speaker 1: So first of all, the fake story is the guy
- 14:47Speaker 1: did not build a backyard fort out of shopping carts.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Come on.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Yeah, a couple I could see it, but.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Who's doing that?
- 14:52Speaker 6: Right.
- 14:53Speaker 2: No, this headline is true.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Scientists have created technology that can send smells over the internet.
- 14:58Speaker 6: How?
- 14:59Speaker 1: So what they've done is they've called it Scenetronic, a
- 15:02Speaker 1: system that relies on AI to identify scents and then
- 15:06Speaker 1: pass that data online to a separate gadget... to which
- 15:09Speaker 1: then recreates the aroma for the person on the other end.
- 15:13Speaker 1: So far, it knows five smells. Among them, coffee, cake,
- 15:18Speaker 1: and oranges. So they have figured it out where the
- 15:20Speaker 1: AI can determine the scent, which is pretty fascinating when
- 15:23Speaker 1: you think about it. And then go, okay, this is
- 15:25Speaker 1: what it smells like. Then send the information across the interweb.
- 15:30Speaker 1: You have a gadget next to your computer, and it goes.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Oh, oranges.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Wow.
- 15:36Speaker 1: This is all great when it's an awesome smell.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Not great when it's not.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Somebody hacks that thing?
- 15:42Speaker 6: Yeah. What?
- 15:43Speaker 4: This is awesome.
- 15:43Speaker 2: All of a sudden, it's letting out stuff in your computer.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I don't want that gadget.
- 15:47Speaker 4: No, I don't either.
- 15:48Speaker 1: The internet is going crazy.
- 15:49Speaker 2: We don't need all this.
- 15:50Speaker 6: No.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Technology is out of control.
- 15:52Speaker 1: It is.
- 15:53Speaker 2: You know, like, can we smell stuff in real life?
- 15:55Speaker 1: Although it would be cool for like a movie experience.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Have they done that? Yeah, they've done that, I think.
- 16:00Speaker 6: No, I don't know.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Maybe so. There's a ride at Disneyland or somewhere where
- 16:03Speaker 4: you fly over the oranges and then it like squirts
- 16:06Speaker 4: out orange scent.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:07Speaker 4: That was really fun.
- 16:08Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know if I want that, though.
- 16:11Speaker 4: The oranges are good.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Like in a movie, you're in a porta potty and
- 16:15Speaker 1: all of a sudden it's like, oh, OK, we get it.
- 16:18Speaker 1: That's enough.
- 16:19Speaker 2: That is enough. All right, the other story, which is
- 16:21Speaker 2: kind of fascinating, though.
- 16:23Speaker 1: The other story, funeral home employee puts on a dead
- 16:25Speaker 1: man's smartwatch so he can get his steps in for him.
- 16:29Speaker 9: What?
- 16:30Speaker 2: This happened in Columbus.
- 16:31Speaker 1: A funeral home employee, he was fired after he took
- 16:33Speaker 1: the deceased man's smartwatch during his shift because he wanted
- 16:38Speaker 1: to get his steps in. The watch was still connected
- 16:40Speaker 1: to the dead man's phone and his fitness account, so his.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Family got an alert.
- 16:46Speaker 6: No! No!
- 16:48Speaker 1: Uncle George is putting in 8,000 steps today. Family's like,
- 16:53Speaker 1: what is going on? Yeah.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Why am I getting alert for this? Call the funeral home.
- 16:57Speaker 1: The director finally figures out that one of the employees
- 17:00Speaker 1: took the smartwatch and started walking around.
- 17:03Speaker 6: What?
- 17:04Speaker 2: Yeah, this guy. Come on, man.
- 17:05Speaker 4: What's wrong with you?
- 17:06Speaker 1: Yeah, they figured it out. But props to the funeral home.
- 17:10Speaker 1: They're like, hey, come on.
- 17:11Speaker 2: What are you doing? You're gone. No exceptions.
- 17:13Speaker 6: Good.
- 17:15Speaker 1: This should be going back to the family, not on
- 17:17Speaker 1: your wrist. Yeah.
- 17:18Speaker 2: You dummy. That's the only way Pooh's putting in 8,000 steps.
- 17:25Speaker 2: It's Mix 102.9.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I'm Billy the Kid. Candice Lopez is here. Producer Pooh
- 17:29Speaker 1: is here. I never knew some of these. Some of
- 17:32Speaker 1: these celebs that have body quirks that I feel like
- 17:35Speaker 1: we should talk about because.
- 17:37Speaker 2: I just never knew some of this stuff. I was
- 17:39Speaker 2: kind of surprised.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Everybody's got their like, yeah, not everybody, but sometimes there's
- 17:41Speaker 1: weird things you can do.
- 17:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 17:43Speaker 1: You know, with your body or you have something going
- 17:45Speaker 1: on that you're like, oh, that's interesting.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I didn't know you could do that.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Like Candace just started making fun of me because I
- 17:49Speaker 1: was telling her my body quirks. And I said, you're
- 17:51Speaker 1: going to pretend like you don't know this. And then
- 17:54Speaker 1: you did genuinely pretend like you didn't know this about me.
- 17:56Speaker 4: No, I didn't know that.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 17:58Speaker 4: If I knew it, I forgot. I knew it decades
- 18:00Speaker 4: ago and just hadn't thought of it.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Where's the line music?
- 18:03Speaker 6: No, seriously.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Tell them what it is.
- 18:05Speaker 1: So, well, I broke my left arm, you know, pretty bad,
- 18:08Speaker 1: so I can't straighten my left arm all the way.
- 18:11Speaker 6: Right.
- 18:11Speaker 4: I didn't know that.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Oh, it's hysterical.
- 18:13Speaker 4: Well, it's because of how you were showing us.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I wish you could see Candace's face right now.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Imagine telling somebody your disability.
- 18:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:21Speaker 1: No.
- 18:21Speaker 2: And then just cracking up.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Well, it's only even funnier because I can't even, I
- 18:26Speaker 4: can't bend my left arm all the way. You can't
- 18:28Speaker 4: straighten yours all the way, and I can't bend mine
- 18:30Speaker 4: all the way.
- 18:31Speaker 6: You can't.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Wait, you can't?
- 18:33Speaker 4: No, you knew that?
- 18:35Speaker 2: Wait a minute. Let me see.
- 18:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Because I had a compound fracture.
- 18:40Speaker 2: I'm sorry. I shouldn't laugh at that.
- 18:42Speaker 4: And there's rods and pins in there, and it just
- 18:44Speaker 4: doesn't bend.
- 18:44Speaker 6: All the way.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Well, together we make up for it.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I know. So anything you can't reach, I'll grab. And
- 18:49Speaker 1: I can't straighten mine, so you can grab it.
- 18:51Speaker 2: No, I just, yeah, right. My cartilage was all gone,
- 18:53Speaker 2: so I can't. That's as far as it goes. Oh, God. Oh,
- 18:58Speaker 2: you two.
- 19:00Speaker 1: We'll get to yours in a second. Who's got a
- 19:04Speaker 1: body quirk? Can I go over some of these celebs
- 19:05Speaker 1: with body quirks?
- 19:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Are they better than ours?
- 19:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I did not know that Harry Styles has four nipples.
- 19:14Speaker 4: What?
- 19:16Speaker 2: Yes.
- 19:16Speaker 6: No.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Did you know this?
- 19:18Speaker 6: No.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Harry Styles has four nipples, which is pretty common to
- 19:22Speaker 2: have an extra nip.
- 19:24Speaker 7: It is?
- 19:24Speaker 6: It is.
- 19:25Speaker 4: How common?
- 19:26Speaker 2: You didn't know that it's common to have extra nipples?
- 19:28Speaker 6: No.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Not that common.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I mean, doesn't everybody have at least like a third
- 19:32Speaker 1: that you kind of don't really pay attention to?
- 19:34Speaker 4: No.
- 19:35Speaker 1: No.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Oh, never mind.
- 19:37Speaker 6: Wait.
- 19:38Speaker 1: No, I only have two. But Harry Styles has four.
- 19:41Speaker 1: He's got four nipples.
- 19:42Speaker 2: So there you go. You didn't know that?
- 19:44Speaker 6: No.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Here's another fun fact.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Kesha. Guess what?
- 19:48Speaker 4: What?
- 19:49Speaker 2: Kesha was born. with a tiny tail.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Stop.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Is this a joke?
- 19:53Speaker 2: It's not a joke.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Are you really going to make me Google Kesha tail?
- 19:59Speaker 4: You can if.
- 19:59Speaker 2: You want to.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Pictures? No, there's no pictures. Kesha was born with a
- 20:03Speaker 1: tiny tail that was a quarter of an inch long,
- 20:06Speaker 1: and it was removed by doctors.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 20:09Speaker 1: And this is very common, more common than you think
- 20:12Speaker 1: for people to be born with a tail.
- 20:13Speaker 6: What?
- 20:14Speaker 2: Allison, the ER nurse that just called. I'm sure she
- 20:16Speaker 2: knows this.
- 20:17Speaker 4: I see it right there.
- 20:18Speaker 2: You see the tail?
- 20:19Speaker 4: Well, it's a drawing of what it would be.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Oh, it is.
- 20:21Speaker 4: It's like a medical thing.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that's all I'm saying. Diagram or something. Interesting fun fact. Also,
- 20:28Speaker 1: 50 Cent. Body quirk for him. He has bullet fragments
- 20:32Speaker 1: in his tongue. Wow.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I remember that.
- 20:34Speaker 2: From when he got shot. You know, he got shot
- 20:36Speaker 2: in the face.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:37Speaker 1: And there's still bullet fragments in his tongue from when
- 20:40Speaker 1: he got shot in 2000.
- 20:41Speaker 2: No way.
- 20:42Speaker 1: That's why sometimes you'll see the way he talks is
- 20:45Speaker 1: a little bit different. If you look up old videos
- 20:47Speaker 1: of 50 Cent before 2000, yes, he was alive.
- 20:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Yeah, totally different. Even if you listen to his rap,
- 20:54Speaker 1: like his music before, 2000 sounds completely different because he
- 20:59Speaker 1: got shot in the face.
- 21:00Speaker 4: No kidding.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Olivia Rodrigo. Her body quirk? She is 60% deaf in
- 21:06Speaker 2: her left ear. Didn't know that.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Okay, I did know that.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Oh, you did?
- 21:09Speaker 4: Yeah, but I worked with her when she was on
- 21:11Speaker 4: Disney Channel back in the day.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 21:13Speaker 4: So it was just like a known thing.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I didn't know that. Megan Fox. Body quirk on Megan Fox.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Believe it or not, Pooh's face is like, there's no way.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Yeah, what?
- 21:23Speaker 2: She has unusually short thumbs. Pooh!
- 21:29Speaker 6: What?
- 21:30Speaker 2: Stop.
- 21:31Speaker 1: It's an actual condition called What? Brachial tactile leak.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Okay.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Something. Type D.
- 21:37Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So she has unusually short thumbs, which doesn't affect her
- 21:42Speaker 1: beauty in any way. No.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Whatever your body quirk is.
- 21:46Speaker 1: It's beautiful.
- 21:47Speaker 4: They should really talk about this in school so the
- 21:49Speaker 4: kids can be like, oh, wow.
- 21:50Speaker 6: Right.
- 21:51Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 21:52Speaker 1: That's why I'm saying this. A lot of kids are listening.
- 21:53Speaker 1: If you have whatever's going on, listen, there's celebrities out there.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Yeah, it's kind of cool.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Who have stuff going on as well.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Yeah, and they're fine.
- 22:01Speaker 2: They're fine. Megan Fox, one of the most beautiful humans
- 22:04Speaker 2: on the planet.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Short thumbs.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Had to be something.
- 22:08Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying?
- 22:09Speaker 9: You can't be that beautiful. Something's got to be wrong.
- 22:11Speaker 9: A missing toe or something. You know what I'm saying?
- 22:14Speaker 2: Jason Sudeikis.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Born without a sense of smell. I didn't know that. Ooh,
- 22:18Speaker 2: that one. There you go.
- 22:20Speaker 6: Wow.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I mean, I know. That would kind of... But you
- 22:23Speaker 2: don't know what you're missing if you don't have it.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Right.
- 22:25Speaker 2: It was like for me, a dad. Oh.
- 22:28Speaker 6: Why?
- 22:28Speaker 1: Come on, Billy.
- 22:31Speaker 2: My dad had one leg shorter than the other.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Really?
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm not even making this up.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:37Speaker 2: My dad, like, he had to wear one shoe that
- 22:40Speaker 2: was tall.
- 22:42Speaker 6: Really?
- 22:42Speaker 2: Yeah, because he was in a horse accident.
- 22:46Speaker 6: Okay.
- 22:46Speaker 1: And the horse broke his leg, and when they did surgery,
- 22:48Speaker 1: it was like two inches, three inches shorter than the other.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Oh.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Yeah, so.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Y'all want to know mine? Yeah, what is your body quirk? Okay,
- 22:55Speaker 1: so my thumb, like, I fell when I was a kid,
- 22:58Speaker 1: and it... popped way back.
- 23:01Speaker 9: So now all they did was pop it back in,
- 23:04Speaker 9: but it's like double jointed.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I can pop it in.
- 23:06Speaker 2: And out of the joint.
- 23:07Speaker 4: It's like clicking.
- 23:08Speaker 2: That's not double jointed.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Well, I can pop it in and out of the joint.
- 23:11Speaker 2: That's arthritis.
- 23:12Speaker 6: No!
- 23:15Speaker 3: This is Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the
- 23:17Speaker 3: Kid in the morning.
- 23:18Speaker 6: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 23:20Speaker 1: We will not want to miss Dirty Little Seeker coming up.
- 23:23Speaker 2: We got that, 7.30. We got a lot going on
- 23:26Speaker 2: this morning, Candace Lopez. What's up?
- 23:28Speaker 4: Yeah, well, Dickies Arena officially has a new name. Effective immediately,
- 23:32Speaker 4: it will now be called... Ariat Arena.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Yeah.
- 23:38Speaker 4: It's after the performance Western equestrian workwear brand.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:42Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:42Speaker 2: That's popular. It's not like, listen, it could be a
- 23:45Speaker 2: lot worse.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Yeah, no, for sure.
- 23:47Speaker 2: So I'm not mad at that.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it's all right. I guess it was a whole
- 23:50Speaker 4: legal dispute over the naming rights payments that were overdue
- 23:54Speaker 4: with Dickies. Temporary signage is up. The permanent signage is
- 23:58Speaker 4: expected to go up by the end of the year.
- 24:01Speaker 4: But that new name will be in place for the
- 24:02Speaker 4: next 10 years.
- 24:03Speaker 2: I'm not mad about that.
- 24:04Speaker 4: It's going to take me a while, though.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's the same thing with like, you know,
- 24:07Speaker 1: back in the day with Dos Equis. It's been called
- 24:10Speaker 1: so many different things. Some people just call it what
- 24:12Speaker 1: they remember it by.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Starplex.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Starplex.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Jexa.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Jexa.
- 24:17Speaker 8: Jexa.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember it. Smirnoff Ice.
- 24:19Speaker 4: Oh, Smirnoff.
- 24:21Speaker 6: Smirnoff. That's right.
- 24:22Speaker 1: It was for a little while. What else was it?
- 24:24Speaker 1: I mean, there's been a million things. I just really
- 24:25Speaker 1: remember Starplex.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Right. The Coca-Cola Starplex.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Coca-Cola Starplex.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a whole thing. It's going to take
- 24:31Speaker 4: me a while. It's Dickies for a while until I
- 24:33Speaker 4: can get used to it.
- 24:34Speaker 7: Right.
- 24:35Speaker 1: And then as soon as you get used to, like,
- 24:36Speaker 1: Dos Equis, it's like, okay, now it's the Modelo Center.
- 24:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I hope not.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Because they're behind on payments.
- 24:42Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 24:43Speaker 4: Guys, Dictionary.com has picked their word of the year. I
- 24:48Speaker 4: like this one, actually. The word of the year is maxing.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Matt.
- 24:52Speaker 4: Oh, two X's.
- 24:53Speaker 2: All right. Yeah, because that's a whole thing. That's the
- 24:55Speaker 2: trend this year. Fiber maxing.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the Internet slang word used for, you know,
- 24:59Speaker 4: almost anything. It's short for maximizing. So, yeah, fiber maxing
- 25:03Speaker 4: was a good one. A big one. Maxine looks maxing
- 25:06Speaker 4: pheromone maxing.
- 25:07Speaker 2: What's that?
- 25:08Speaker 4: That's pheromone maxing.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Oh, when you don't shower?
- 25:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Oh, because you want to get your pheromones correct?
- 25:12Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Okay, cool.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I like that.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm maxing right now.
- 25:16Speaker 4: There are other favorite words of the year that came
- 25:18Speaker 4: close to making word of the year. Affordability.
- 25:22Speaker 2: What's that?
- 25:22Speaker 4: Yeah, not a thing here. Data center.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Data center.
- 25:27Speaker 4: Huge thing here.
- 25:28Speaker 6: Huge. And then.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Unk.
- 25:30Speaker 6: Oh, wow.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Who's unk status? No, I'm not. I'm not yet.
- 25:34Speaker 2: You've passed OG status.
- 25:36Speaker 1: No, I'm an OG, bro.
- 25:37Speaker 4: What makes you an unk?
- 25:38Speaker 2: Well, that's a good question.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I asked the kids that play basketball, you know, at
- 25:42Speaker 1: the rec center I play at.
- 25:44Speaker 10: Good.
- 25:44Speaker 1: What makes an unk? And they're like, just when you're old.
- 25:47Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, okay.
- 25:48Speaker 4: But what is old?
- 25:49Speaker 1: That's what, to them, old. I mean, imagine when you're 18.
- 25:53Speaker 1: We thought 40 was ancient. Oof.
- 25:55Speaker 2: You're half dead.
- 25:56Speaker 6: Ugh.
- 25:56Speaker 2: You know?
- 25:57Speaker 1: So to them, but they were nice to me. They're like,
- 26:00Speaker 1: we consider you OG status. You're not unk just yet.
- 26:05Speaker 6: Oh.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I think next year I'm an unk.
- 26:06Speaker 6: Oh, boy.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I know.
- 26:08Speaker 4: Okay, so OG's good. Unk is too far.
- 26:10Speaker 2: They don't even mind.
- 26:11Speaker 1: No, unk is not bad, necessarily. Just saying, come on,
- 26:14Speaker 1: respect unk. Okay. I'm not unk.
- 26:17Speaker 4: All right.
- 26:18Speaker 6: All right, unk.
- 26:18Speaker 1: I refuse. Okay, unk.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Real quick, guys. People has named their sexiest man alive.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Another drummer?
- 26:26Speaker 4: Are you ready for that? I know. I'm just... Jeez.
- 26:29Speaker 4: It's Noah Wiley.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Noah who?
- 26:31Speaker 4: Noah Wiley.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Who's that?
- 26:33Speaker 6: Oh, you don't know?
- 26:33Speaker 4: Him from the pit no yeah he was in er
- 26:36Speaker 4: back in the.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Day i don't even know what he looks like he's
- 26:38Speaker 1: the sexiest man alive.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Yeah he said he thought this was a prank when
- 26:42Speaker 4: he found out i think it's a great choice i
- 26:44Speaker 4: mean he won the golden globe for best performance for
- 26:47Speaker 4: a male actor in a tv series drama this year
- 26:49Speaker 4: back-to-back emmys if i.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Gotta google him i don't know.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Oh well you just don't watch tv oh.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Oh okay he's 55 i like it yeah and unk
- 26:59Speaker 1: is the sexiest man alive there you go Congrats, Noah.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, last year, Jonathan Bailey won, but now
- 27:06Speaker 4: he joins the list of guys like Patrick Dempsey, Chris Evans,
- 27:09Speaker 4: John Legend, Michael B. Jordan.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I see a theme. Older men are in.
- 27:13Speaker 7: Okay, Unc.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Yeah, Unc status is.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Not the worst.
- 27:16Speaker 4: The full sexiest Unc.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Okay, enough with the drum rolls today.
- 27:18Speaker 4: All right, I'm Candace Lopez. Those are your Texas Top Stories.
- 27:24Speaker 6: We promise you'll feel better.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Welcome to Dirty Little Secret with Billy the Kid in
- 27:29Speaker 3: the morning.
- 27:29Speaker 6: The new Mix 102.9.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I always heard, though, that sometimes if you hear a
- 27:34Speaker 1: baby cry, it, like, triggers your body.
- 27:36Speaker 2: You want to have more kids.
- 27:37Speaker 6: Oh.
- 27:37Speaker 2: That's what I heard.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Some woman said that one time, and I was like, oh,
- 27:40Speaker 1: really interesting.
- 27:41Speaker 6: Huh.
- 27:41Speaker 2: So, but not for you.
- 27:42Speaker 6: No?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Not for you.
- 27:44Speaker 1: It's Mix 102.9. Ability Kid, Candace Lopez, producer Pooh is here.
- 27:48Speaker 1: If you have a secret, you let us know. Anytime
- 27:50Speaker 1: you want, it's in non-judgment zone.
- 27:53Speaker 2: 833-787-1029. Okay. Whatever your secret may be.
- 27:57Speaker 1: And you have one.
- 27:58Speaker 8: All right. I've been married about six months. I have
- 28:01Speaker 8: a secret for my wife, something I do every night.
- 28:04Speaker 8: And I do know she would lose her mind if
- 28:06Speaker 8: she knew that I was doing it.
- 28:08Speaker 2: She would lose her mind if she knew you were
- 28:10Speaker 2: doing it. Okay. What is your secret? Now I'm nervous.
- 28:12Speaker 2: What is your secret that you do every night?
- 28:14Speaker 10: No, it's not that bad.
- 28:15Speaker 8: Every night before bed, I call my mom to say goodnight.
- 28:19Speaker 6: Oh.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Oh.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 28:21Speaker 1: What's wrong with that?
- 28:21Speaker 2: I did not expect that. You call your mom.
- 28:24Speaker 8: That's a wholesome secret, right?
- 28:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Okay.
- 28:27Speaker 2: What do you mean you call your mom to say goodnight?
- 28:30Speaker 8: So it started when I was a little kid. My
- 28:32Speaker 8: parents got divorced, and when I would stay at my
- 28:34Speaker 8: dad's house, I'd call my mom before bed. You know,
- 28:37Speaker 8: maybe she'd read me a story, whatever, but we'd check in,
- 28:39Speaker 8: and we'd say goodnight, and that became, like, a tradition.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Oh.
- 28:43Speaker 6: So.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Is this Enzo?
- 28:46Speaker 4: It's just really sweet.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Candace's son?
- 28:48Speaker 4: It's interesting.
- 28:49Speaker 2: This is going to be Enzo when he's older.
- 28:51Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh.
- 28:52Speaker 10: Yeah, it is.
- 28:53Speaker 1: So he calls, which is not a bad thing. You
- 28:55Speaker 1: should talk to your mom. There's nothing wrong with talking
- 28:57Speaker 1: to your mom.
- 28:57Speaker 4: My mom texts me at night every night, but she
- 28:59Speaker 4: texts me.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I call my mom. I mean, I call my mom,
- 29:01Speaker 2: try to call my mom every day. You should.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Now, but
- 29:05Speaker 1: what is going on? She's not reading you bedtime stories anymore, right?
- 29:09Speaker 4: I hope not.
- 29:10Speaker 8: Not reading me bedtime stories. We're just chatting and saying goodnight.
- 29:14Speaker 8: But when my wife and I first moved in, she
- 29:16Speaker 8: thought it was so weird. Like a grown man is
- 29:19Speaker 8: calling his mommy before bed. And she was like making
- 29:22Speaker 8: it a thing. You guys seem to be on my side.
- 29:25Speaker 8: You seem to not think it's that weird. But for
- 29:28Speaker 8: whatever reason, it made her furious. I mean, we got
- 29:31Speaker 8: into a fight. She was saying, I'm married. I should
- 29:32Speaker 8: be more focused on my own family and not calling
- 29:34Speaker 8: my mom. Like, I'm five years old.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:37Speaker 4: Well, if you're not talking to your wife all day
- 29:39Speaker 4: or you're not... communicating as much with your wife for
- 29:41Speaker 4: some reason, yeah, that's a problem.
- 29:43Speaker 1: There's got to be something that's triggering her to be mad.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I'm not saying you're lying to me, but I feel
- 29:49Speaker 1: like there's just got to be something that's making her go, okay,
- 29:52Speaker 1: this is why it annoys me. If I felt like
- 29:55Speaker 1: I was talking to her, I feel like she would
- 29:56Speaker 1: tell me, okay, he's not telling the whole truth. Here's
- 29:59Speaker 1: what really happens. You know what I mean?
- 30:02Speaker 8: Well, honestly, I think what most got on her nerves
- 30:06Speaker 8: is our little rhyme.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Rhyme?
- 30:07Speaker 10: Yeah, my mom and I have a little saying.
- 30:12Speaker 8: Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Hold on. Hold on.
- 30:19Speaker 1: What do you mean you have a little saying? This
- 30:20Speaker 1: is what, okay. What do you mean you have a little,
- 30:22Speaker 1: first of all, I want to hear it.
- 30:23Speaker 2: What do you mean? You have a saying?
- 30:25Speaker 8: I feel like I'm setting myself up to be made
- 30:29Speaker 8: fun of after you guys.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Were on my side.
- 30:30Speaker 8: Okay.
- 30:31Speaker 2: That's okay. You got to be honest with us. We'll
- 30:33Speaker 2: work through this together.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:34Speaker 1: You're on the phone with your mom. You say this
- 30:36Speaker 1: before you hang up or when do you say, what
- 30:37Speaker 1: is it? What did go ahead? What is it? I'm nervous.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:41Speaker 8: So I say nighty night, mommy, mommy. And she says
- 30:46Speaker 8: nighty night, Tommy, Tommy.
- 30:47Speaker 10: And then we say at the same time, love you forever.
- 30:55Speaker 8: Oh, wow.
- 31:00Speaker 4: That's a lot to process as a wife hearing your
- 31:03Speaker 4: husband say that.
- 31:05Speaker 2: I don't even.
- 31:07Speaker 8: We've been doing this since I was a kid. I
- 31:09Speaker 8: didn't invent this like yesterday.
- 31:11Speaker 1: It's been going on.
- 31:13Speaker 4: It's sweet.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Listen, Tommy, Tommy, I'm rarely speechless.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I am.
- 31:19Speaker 2: So, okay.
- 31:20Speaker 1: You say nighty night, mommy, mommy.
- 31:25Speaker 2: And she says, good night.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Nighty night. Tommy, Tommy.
- 31:30Speaker 8: Love you forever.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Love you forever. And then you guys say that together.
- 31:34Speaker 8: So for whatever reason, my wife thinks that's creepy and childish,
- 31:38Speaker 8: so I had to tell her that I stopped doing it,
- 31:42Speaker 8: but now I just do it in the garage every night.
- 31:45Speaker 6: No!
- 31:47Speaker 2: So you told, now it's getting better.
- 31:50Speaker 1: So you told your wife that, no, we don't, I
- 31:52Speaker 1: don't call my mom anymore, but you go to, you
- 31:54Speaker 1: go to the garage to call her.
- 31:57Speaker 8: Well, I'll pretend I'm taking out the trash or I
- 31:59Speaker 8: forgot something.
- 32:00Speaker 1: In the car or whatever.
- 32:04Speaker 8: I love my wife. She's amazing. We're very happy, but
- 32:07Speaker 8: I mean, I, I love my mom too. And I
- 32:09Speaker 8: don't understand why those two things are in competition.
- 32:14Speaker 6: Right.
- 32:14Speaker 2: And they shouldn't be. You're right.
- 32:16Speaker 1: But there's obviously I think we found out what exactly
- 32:18Speaker 1: was triggering her. Right.
- 32:21Speaker 2: This is a little much. But I don't know.
- 32:24Speaker 8: Even if you think it's weird, it's like a two
- 32:26Speaker 8: minute call. And I didn't think it was worth fighting
- 32:28Speaker 8: with my wife about. So I'm just doing a binder
- 32:31Speaker 8: back now. And I don't plan on stopping either. I mean,
- 32:35Speaker 8: you know, I'll go. I'll go every night because that's
- 32:38Speaker 8: what I've done and that's what I'll do.
- 32:39Speaker 4: All right.
- 32:40Speaker 1: I'm not saying you should stop. Candace, would you tell
- 32:42Speaker 1: your husband to stop?
- 32:44Speaker 4: No, I wouldn't tell him to stop. But I'd be like,
- 32:46Speaker 4: at least how serious is he taking this? Because I'd
- 32:49Speaker 4: be like, ha ha, mama. You know what I mean?
- 32:52Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like a joke.
- 32:54Speaker 6: Right.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Don't make fun of it. Yeah, he's really serious.
- 32:57Speaker 8: I mean, we know that it's a funny thing to do.
- 33:00Speaker 8: We're not insane.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Right, right.
- 33:02Speaker 4: In the grand scheme of life, it's loving and it's
- 33:05Speaker 4: cute and sweet. So, like, I mean, there's worse things
- 33:08Speaker 4: in the world. Is it awesome to have to witness
- 33:11Speaker 4: every night?
- 33:12Speaker 1: Okay, listen, I know you're being nice, Candice.
- 33:14Speaker 6: Maybe not.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Would it weird you out?
- 33:15Speaker 4: A little bit.
- 33:16Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. I know. I'm not saying it's
- 33:19Speaker 2: not cute. It's cute when you're eight.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:21Speaker 2: It's cute when you're seven.
- 33:24Speaker 4: Mike, Enzo and I all go, and he'll go.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Oh, boy.
- 33:27Speaker 4: Like kiss.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Kiss, kiss. Which is adorable.
- 33:30Speaker 4: I don't kiss him like that.
- 33:31Speaker 2: No, I know, but it's adorable.
- 33:32Speaker 4: It's like an air kiss.
- 33:33Speaker 1: He's eight.
- 33:34Speaker 4: When I shut his door at night.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Yeah, when he's eight, it's fine.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Yeah, like, you know, people say love you to the
- 33:38Speaker 2: moon and back.
- 33:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Everybody has their little thing.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Love you more.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Love you more. No, I love you more.
- 33:44Speaker 1: No, I love you the most. Yeah, it just gets
- 33:45Speaker 1: a little different when you're grown and you have a
- 33:47Speaker 1: wife and a family. But hey, sir, we're not here
- 33:51Speaker 1: to judge. We're here to make sure you're happy. It's
- 33:53Speaker 1: a no-judgment zone, and you're happy. And you sound like
- 33:56Speaker 1: a good guy. You sound nice. That's your thing. You
- 33:58Speaker 1: should be authentically you no matter what.
- 34:01Speaker 8: Yeah, I agree. And you know what? I love all
- 34:05Speaker 8: you to the moon and back.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Well, I love you to the moon and back. Nighty-night,
- 34:08Speaker 1: Tommy Tommy.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Love you forever.
- 34:10Speaker 8: Nighty-night, radio crew.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you didn't say it at the same time, Candice.
- 34:14Speaker 5: Oh, sorry.
- 34:14Speaker 4: Ready?
- 34:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Love you forever.
- 34:18Speaker 6: Yay!
- 34:21Speaker 2: Stay right there sir.
- 34:23Speaker 1: What in the world yeah i gotta know from ladies
- 34:28Speaker 1: would this be because at first i'm like there's nothing
- 34:30Speaker 1: wrong with calling your mom good night like it's a
- 34:32Speaker 1: lot to do it every night but there's got to
- 34:34Speaker 1: be something that's kind of going and that's weird well
- 34:37Speaker 1: when you have a whole damn nursery rhyme yeah as
- 34:41Speaker 1: a 38 year old man nighty night tommy tommy.
- 34:45Speaker 4: Night night mommy mommy mommy Love you forever.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Love you forever.
- 34:51Speaker 2: We didn't say it on time. Oh, do it again.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Let's try it again.
- 34:56Speaker 4: No, it's too much.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Nighty night, Tommy.
- 34:58Speaker 4: It's sweet, but it's too much.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Nighty night, mommy, mommy. Love you forever. No, you hang up.
- 35:08Speaker 3: It's time for Candace Court. It gets settled here with
- 35:12Speaker 3: Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 35:13Speaker 2: All rise for the Honorable Judge Candace Lopez. Here she is.
- 35:17Speaker 1: It is Candace Court. If she has any kind of, well,
- 35:20Speaker 1: she doesn't have the problem.
- 35:21Speaker 2: You have a problem. She fixes the problems.
- 35:23Speaker 4: I got my own problems.
- 35:25Speaker 2: We got our own problems.
- 35:26Speaker 1: At Mix 1029 FM or you can hit her up
- 35:28Speaker 1: at Candace.
- 35:29Speaker 2: On air on Instagram. This is an interesting one, Candace.
- 35:32Speaker 2: You ready for this?
- 35:33Speaker 6: Yep.
- 35:33Speaker 1: I need Candace Court because my husband and I are
- 35:35Speaker 1: having a disagreement, and he thinks I'm being selfish. About
- 35:39Speaker 1: six months ago, we decided to get healthy together. We
- 35:42Speaker 1: started eating better, working out, making lifestyle changes. Well, he's
- 35:46Speaker 1: lost almost 50 pounds, and I've barely lost 12. I'm
- 35:51Speaker 1: working just as hard, but the weight isn't coming off
- 35:53Speaker 1: nearly as fast.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Here's the problem.
- 35:55Speaker 1: He is constantly posting about his weight loss on social media,
- 35:59Speaker 1: gym selfies, before and after pics, motivational posts. And how
- 36:03Speaker 1: can anyone lose weight if they don't work hard enough?
- 36:06Speaker 1: He even posted, quote, no excuses. If you want it
- 36:09Speaker 1: bad enough, you'll make it happen. Oh, wow. I'm sorry,
- 36:12Speaker 1: but it feels like a slap in my face. He
- 36:15Speaker 1: knows how hard I'm struggling. I've asked him to stop
- 36:17Speaker 1: posting so much. I support him at home. I tell
- 36:20Speaker 1: him how great he looks and I'm genuinely proud of him.
- 36:23Speaker 1: But why does he need hundreds of strangers validating him online?
- 36:27Speaker 1: He says I'm being selfish and that he shouldn't have
- 36:30Speaker 1: to hide his accomplishments just because I'm not getting the
- 36:33Speaker 1: same results.
- 36:35Speaker 2: I told him.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Marriage is about supporting each other. And if there's something
- 36:39Speaker 1: he's doing hurting my confidence and mental health, he should
- 36:41Speaker 1: care enough to stop. He says I'm making his success
- 36:45Speaker 1: about me. Okay, Candace Court, please help. Now, who's right
- 36:51Speaker 1: or who's wrong in this situation? So they're both losing weight. Now,
- 36:55Speaker 1: the fact of the matter is, men a lot of
- 36:57Speaker 1: times lose weight faster.
- 36:58Speaker 4: I know.
- 36:59Speaker 6: I know.
- 37:00Speaker 4: That's how it works.
- 37:01Speaker 2: I'm not too happy about this.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Um, he's posting online. He's getting a little braggadocious about it.
- 37:06Speaker 1: He's feeling himself. Yeah.
- 37:07Speaker 4: It's hard not to go over the top with like
- 37:09Speaker 4: the motivational quotes and like you're feeling yourself in your
- 37:12Speaker 4: workouts and immediately after you got to share it because
- 37:14Speaker 4: it feels good. You're like going to help other people
- 37:16Speaker 4: on the internet. But like they say, if anything online
- 37:19Speaker 4: is not supporting your mental health, drop them, hide them,
- 37:22Speaker 4: hide his account. If you won't stop posting, block him.
- 37:24Speaker 2: You're going to block. You're going to mute your own husband.
- 37:27Speaker 4: Mute your husband.
- 37:28Speaker 1: That's right.
- 37:29Speaker 4: He knows you're working just as hard as he is.
- 37:31Speaker 4: You know, it's not working as well for you. He
- 37:33Speaker 4: should be sensitive to that. Why does he need to post, post,
- 37:35Speaker 4: post for everybody?
- 37:37Speaker 1: You sound like a big old hater.
- 37:39Speaker 7: No, no.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Yes.
- 37:40Speaker 2: No, I agree with Candace. I'm like this.
- 37:43Speaker 1: If this is anybody else, then it doesn't matter.
- 37:46Speaker 2: This is your wife.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Right.
- 37:48Speaker 2: So it matters.
- 37:48Speaker 1: It doesn't matter if you think it's ridiculous or not.
- 37:51Speaker 1: If your wife feels like, okay, well, I'm feeling some
- 37:53Speaker 1: kind of way about this and she's struggling, be sensitive
- 37:56Speaker 1: to her needs.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Why not? If this is a.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Stranger or even a friend, if it's a friend like, man,
- 38:01Speaker 1: I'm trying to lose weight too and I'm not losing
- 38:03Speaker 1: enough weight.
- 38:04Speaker 2: And here you are bragging shirtless gym selfies.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Too bad.
- 38:08Speaker 2: But it's your wife.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 38:10Speaker 4: We live in the same house.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I understand that.
- 38:12Speaker 9: But what if the tables were turned and she was
- 38:15Speaker 9: out here posting like crazy?
- 38:17Speaker 2: Same thing.
- 38:17Speaker 1: You would ask me to support her?
- 38:19Speaker 6: Yes.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Don't hate on my success. Just, hey, girl, you just
- 38:23Speaker 1: got to work a little bit harder.
- 38:24Speaker 6: No.
- 38:25Speaker 9: No, we work away.
- 38:26Speaker 6: Way too hard.
- 38:27Speaker 4: You have no idea. Our bodies just won't survive.
- 38:30Speaker 1: You know, our bodies are not the same. I mean,
- 38:33Speaker 1: I totally get that.
- 38:34Speaker 2: So a woman can work out harder than you. Yeah.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Sometimes she won't lose the weight.
- 38:38Speaker 6: Right.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Because of hormone differences or whatever the case may be.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Totally get that. But it's more pressure on guys. To
- 38:45Speaker 1: stay in shape.
- 38:46Speaker 6: What?
- 38:48Speaker 8: It is.
- 38:48Speaker 6: No. Yeah, it is.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Y'all come over.
- 38:50Speaker 4: Are you serious?
- 38:51Speaker 1: If we get overweight and all that stuff.
- 38:53Speaker 6: Stop it.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Some girls.
- 38:53Speaker 2: You gotta be rage baiting.
- 38:55Speaker 4: That's absurd.
- 38:55Speaker 1: I'm not rage baiting nobody. It's a lot of pressure
- 38:58Speaker 1: on us.
- 38:58Speaker 2: What?
- 39:00Speaker 1: What if I just like. You gotta be kidding. No,
- 39:03Speaker 1: if I'm heavy. If I'm heavier than I was, you know,
- 39:06Speaker 1: before we got married. You know what?
- 39:08Speaker 2: It's acceptable. It happens in every marriage.
- 39:10Speaker 4: You don't have to wear a bikini this summer.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Oh, boo-hoo, you wearing a bikini.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Even as a man, I can tell you that the society,
- 39:18Speaker 1: the pressure with women in society puts on them to
- 39:22Speaker 1: be a certain way in a certain way is way
- 39:25Speaker 1: more intense than anyone. Yeah, that's not even a question.
- 39:28Speaker 2: If I love you the way you are. You gotta
- 39:30Speaker 2: be rage-based. If I love you.
- 39:31Speaker 4: This is laughable.
- 39:31Speaker 9: This is no ways... Y'all are a bunch of haters.
- 39:34Speaker 9: I'm just saying, if I love you... If you're my wife,
- 39:36Speaker 9: we're better for worse. Like, if I love you, if
- 39:38Speaker 9: you're 200 pounds, I'm gonna love you if you're 150 or.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Okay, but you're right.
- 39:42Speaker 9: I don't know what the average weight should be because
- 39:44Speaker 9: I like them thick. But you know what I'm saying.
- 39:46Speaker 1: I don't.
- 39:48Speaker 6: No.
- 39:49Speaker 9: I'm just saying, like, she should just— she' s being a hater.
- 39:52Speaker 4: Why does he have to be posting this all over
- 39:53Speaker 4: the Internet? Why not?
- 39:55Speaker 1: Because he's proud.
- 39:56Speaker 2: What if he was like— Well, be proud at home.
- 39:57Speaker 1: What if he was like 300-some-odd pounds and he lost 150?
- 40:00Speaker 9: That's good.
- 40:00Speaker 1: And he's like, now I'm yoked. You know what? I
- 40:04Speaker 1: get that he's doing it, and I'm happy that he's
- 40:06Speaker 1: lost the weight, but here's my deal. Once she says
- 40:09Speaker 1: it's kind of like making her feel a certain way,
- 40:11Speaker 1: why not acknowledge it and go, I'm going to go 50%
- 40:14Speaker 1: and not do as much.
- 40:15Speaker 2: I'm not going to post as much online.
- 40:16Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 40:17Speaker 4: You don't need to. You're just pumping yourself up at
- 40:19Speaker 4: her expense.
- 40:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:20Speaker 4: Is that worth it?
- 40:21Speaker 1: Because the way– I'm glad that you're feeling yourself. But
- 40:24Speaker 1: is it worth the problems at home? And if your
- 40:27Speaker 1: wife is feeling emotional about her weight?
- 40:28Speaker 6: Okay.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Well, what if I was like– depression, you know, when
- 40:32Speaker 1: I was overweight and now I just got a, I
- 40:35Speaker 1: got a, I got that spark. Why is she trying
- 40:37Speaker 1: to kill my spark?
- 40:38Speaker 2: I'm glad you have the spark, but let me ask
- 40:40Speaker 2: you this.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Would you have an issue if you, if the girl
- 40:43Speaker 1: you were dating or the girl you were married to,
- 40:45Speaker 1: was just nonstop posting thirst trap bikini pics. Not worried
- 40:49Speaker 1: about it. Baby's coming home to me.
- 40:51Speaker 2: That's hysterical. You're a liar.
- 40:52Speaker 1: I'm not worried about it.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Put on the line music.
- 40:53Speaker 1: I'm not worried about it.
- 40:54Speaker 4: Put it on.
- 40:55Speaker 8: Put it.
- 40:55Speaker 4: We know she's coming home to you, but the issue
- 40:57Speaker 4: is that you feel some type of way mentally because
- 40:59Speaker 4: you're not just getting the results that she's getting and
- 41:02Speaker 4: the timeline she's getting them.
- 41:03Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm not going to sit up there and whine
- 41:05Speaker 9: about it. I'm going to put forward more effort. That's
- 41:07Speaker 9: what I just got to do.
- 41:08Speaker 4: You can only put forth so much effort.
- 41:10Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Sometimes I think Pooh's trying
- 41:13Speaker 2: to trigger me.
- 41:14Speaker 9: I'm trying to trigger you. I'm stating facts. There's guys
- 41:18Speaker 9: out there who will agree with me. And probably some women.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Well, I'm waiting for one to call.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Because we haven't had them yet.
- 41:27Speaker 4: There's probably one or two.
- 41:29Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. No, I'm sure there's one or two.
- 41:30Speaker 1: No, I agree.
- 41:31Speaker 2: If he wants to feel that way about, you know,
- 41:34Speaker 2: working out or whatever. But to say.
- 41:36Speaker 1: That men have more pressure on them to look.
- 41:39Speaker 4: That's insanity.
- 41:39Speaker 1: I'm just talking about in the relationship-wise. No, it's in
- 41:43Speaker 1: the marriage, yeah.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Absolutely not.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Because if I'm Chunky Monkey, my wife could possibly leave me.
- 41:47Speaker 4: You can cover it up with your beard. You can
- 41:49Speaker 4: cover it up with your hoodie. You can cover it
- 41:51Speaker 4: up with.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Girls stay with guys all the time that are gaining weight.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Not, not, not.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. Okay, this is Candace Court. It's not
- 41:56Speaker 2: Booze Court. It doesn't matter anyway, Candace. The verdict is.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Yeah, look, bro, you're guilty of being a big flex, Frank.
- 42:03Speaker 8: Oh!
- 42:04Speaker 4: Stop flexing on the internet. It's making your wife sad.
- 42:08Speaker 4: If you're on this health journey alone, that's different. We
- 42:11Speaker 4: started this health journey together. You see the work that
- 42:13Speaker 4: I'm putting in. It's hurting me.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Stop.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Yeah, stop. He is guilty of being a.
- 42:17Speaker 4: A big flex, Frank.
- 42:19Speaker 6: The new Mix 102.9.
- 42:21Speaker 3: It's Texas Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the
- 42:24Speaker 3: Kid in the Morning.
- 42:25Speaker 6: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 42:27Speaker 1: By the way, your chance at $ 1, 000 coming up.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Get ready. Our cash cow in full effect.
- 42:32Speaker 1: 840. 840.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Make sure you listen. Candace Lopez, what's up?
- 42:35Speaker 4: Well, the Cowboys won last night, guys.
- 42:37Speaker 6: Hey! Yeah.
- 42:38Speaker 4: First thing I check when I woke up this morning, 38-21.
- 42:40Speaker 4: How was the game, Billy?
- 42:41Speaker 6: I mean....
- 42:44Speaker 1: I fell asleep because I knew they were going to win.
- 42:46Speaker 1: I think Allen could beat the Eagles.
- 42:50Speaker 4: The Allen Eagles could beat the Philadelphia Eagles?
- 42:52Speaker 1: Yes, they could. I really think so. With their second string,
- 42:56Speaker 1: everybody in, Philly's hurt. So, I mean, I want to
- 42:58Speaker 1: get excited because, listen, we needed that win.
- 43:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 43:00Speaker 2: But it's expected.
- 43:02Speaker 4: Yeah, but if they had lost, I mean, today would
- 43:04Speaker 4: just be... I think we're literally done.
- 43:07Speaker 6: You know what?
- 43:07Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 43:08Speaker 8: Honestly, if.
- 43:09Speaker 2: If they were the loss that have been like nothing
- 43:11Speaker 2: surprises me anymore.
- 43:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:13Speaker 1: So I don't want to get my hopes up. I
- 43:14Speaker 1: don't want to get my hopes down. It's just it
- 43:16Speaker 1: is what it is.
- 43:17Speaker 4: Yeah. I mean, I saw some impressive runs. You know,
- 43:20Speaker 4: the running game looked like it was OK. I literally
- 43:22Speaker 4: only saw maybe the first half of the first quarter.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Well, I hate Philly. So anytime we can beat them,
- 43:28Speaker 1: I'm going to celebrate.
- 43:29Speaker 2: They hate us. We hate them.
- 43:30Speaker 1: It's all good.
- 43:31Speaker 4: It's perfect. The Cowboys do play again Sunday. Arizona will
- 43:35Speaker 4: be in town. That's a noon game. I'm actually going
- 43:37Speaker 4: to watch the full game. Thanks to that noon schedule.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Finally, it's got to come on at noon for Kansas.
- 43:44Speaker 4: Guys, Starbucks has officially set red cup day. So it's
- 43:47Speaker 4: going to happen November 17th. You can get your free
- 43:50Speaker 4: reusable collectible cup. They're also good news guys at bringing
- 43:54Speaker 4: back the barista glass cup. With a mystery version, it's
- 43:58Speaker 4: going to hit stores November 10th. This is exciting because
- 44:01Speaker 4: you know what happened to me last year?
- 44:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you show up at Starbucks and you think everybody's
- 44:05Speaker 1: going to get one and they have one per store.
- 44:07Speaker 4: Yeah, and I was there at 4.30 in the morning.
- 44:10Speaker 4: I mean, the parking lot was packed. What a nerd.
- 44:14Speaker 1: You girls do get a little excited about random stuff
- 44:16Speaker 1: like this.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Like the Trader Joe's bags.
- 44:19Speaker 7: Right.
- 44:19Speaker 2: And all this weird stuff.
- 44:21Speaker 4: It's the little things. This is a recession indicator when
- 44:24Speaker 4: we get this excited about stupid stuff like a $ 2. 99
- 44:26Speaker 4: tote bag at Trader Joe's.
- 44:30Speaker 2: I like that you get hype about it.
- 44:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 44:32Speaker 4: The original one, by the way, it's coming back December 1st.
- 44:35Speaker 4: The full holiday menu launches next Thursday. Guys, casting could
- 44:39Speaker 4: be coming soon for a new Dolly Parton biopic. I
- 44:43Speaker 4: guess a while back, Dolly talked about making a movie
- 44:46Speaker 4: about her life and career. She said she would like
- 44:49Speaker 4: to see Scarlett Johansson or Reese Witherspoon playing her. But
- 44:53Speaker 4: there's rumors going around that it could be Sabrina Carpenter.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I like that.
- 44:56Speaker 4: I do, too.
- 44:57Speaker 1: I think Sabrina would be great. What about you, Candace?
- 44:59Speaker 1: If someone played you in a movie, who would you
- 45:01Speaker 1: want it to be?
- 45:01Speaker 4: Oh, gosh, that's good. People always said that me and
- 45:05Speaker 4: what's her name? Victoria. Victoria Jackson. No, Sandra Bullock.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely.
- 45:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 45:11Speaker 2: You kind of look like Sandra Bullock.
- 45:12Speaker 4: Victoria Justice. That's what I was thinking. Oh, OK. I
- 45:14Speaker 4: always say that we looked alike.
- 45:15Speaker 2: I kind of get that, too.
- 45:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 45:17Speaker 2: I'm trying to think who would who would you want?
- 45:19Speaker 1: Oh, Michael B.
- 45:20Speaker 6: Jordan. Okay.
- 45:21Speaker 1: We got similar features. Do you wear them?
- 45:23Speaker 4: Yeah, y'all do.
- 45:26Speaker 6: We do?
- 45:27Speaker 7: No, you do.
- 45:27Speaker 2: I was thinking more.
- 45:28Speaker 4: A lot of pressure to look like Michael B.
- 45:30Speaker 10: Jordan.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Squint, squint, squint.
- 45:33Speaker 2: I'm looking, but I can't. I'm trying to. Squint.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Michael Jordan?
- 45:37Speaker 6: No, no.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Jordan? Like now Michael Jordan?
- 45:43Speaker 8: No.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Like the Michael Jordan meme where he's crying?
- 45:46Speaker 6: No.
- 45:48Speaker 4: What about you, Billy?
- 45:49Speaker 1: I don't know. I have no idea who would play me.
- 45:52Speaker 1: I was thinking Diddy for Pooh. Oh, yeah.
- 45:55Speaker 4: What era are we talking about?
- 45:57Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 45:57Speaker 4: Of your life.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Go ahead, Pooh. Who would play me?
- 46:00Speaker 1: It's going to be someone stupid. No, I can't think.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Maybe Tom Hanks or something.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Tom Hanks?
- 46:06Speaker 1: God, I hate you.
- 46:07Speaker 4: What?
- 46:07Speaker 6: Tom Hanks?
- 46:09Speaker 1: Get out.
- 46:10Speaker 2: You know what? I'm turning your mic off.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I can't deal with him.
- 46:14Speaker 2: I cannot deal with him. Candace, are we done?
- 46:16Speaker 4: We're so done. I'm Candace Lopez. Those are your Texas
- 46:18Speaker 4: top stories. Look at them.
- 46:20Speaker 6: I want to make sure they're 2.9.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Tom Hanks.
- 46:23Speaker 4: Where did you pull that from?
- 46:25Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 46:25Speaker 4: All right.
- 46:26Speaker 1: We have a haunted story we're doing next about a
- 46:29Speaker 1: real place in the Metroplex.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Even though that is scary to think.
- 46:33Speaker 4: Life is lack of oxygen.
- 46:35Speaker 1: I hate y'all so much. Let's go.
- 46:39Speaker 4: It's Billy the Kid in the Morning's Texas Terror Tour
- 46:42Speaker 4: on Mix 102.9. Enter if you dare.
- 46:49Speaker 1: With cutting edge passes next, it's that time of the year.
- 46:52Speaker 1: I can't believe Halloween is coming up Saturday. So we've
- 46:55Speaker 1: been talking about some haunted places, allegedly real haunted places.
- 46:59Speaker 1: I mean, it's hard to confirm whether something's legitimately haunted
- 47:04Speaker 1: or there's legitimately ghost activity. But the places we're talking
- 47:07Speaker 1: about all week right around this time are, you know,
- 47:11Speaker 1: very historically known to be paranormal, I don't know, epicenters.
- 47:16Speaker 4: Right.
- 47:18Speaker 2: That's extreme. Can we call it a paranormal epicenter?
- 47:21Speaker 4: It's busy with all the mostly things.
- 47:23Speaker 1: It's busy with certain things, yes.
- 47:24Speaker 2: What did we talk about yesterday? We talked about.
- 47:26Speaker 4: It was that cemetery in Garland.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Yes, I got a lot of calls. A lot of
- 47:31Speaker 1: calls about the Mills Cemetery in Garland. There's a Charles
- 47:35Speaker 1: Smiley that's buried there, the Smiley grave, and they say
- 47:37Speaker 1: if you lay on the grave, you will feel something
- 47:40Speaker 1: touch you, which is terrifying. I didn't advocate and say
- 47:44Speaker 1: do that. I'm just saying that's what they say happens. Today,
- 47:47Speaker 1: we're talking about a place that most of us around
- 47:50Speaker 1: our age, you've been to.
- 47:51Speaker 2: I've been to. I used to work there back in
- 47:53Speaker 2: the day.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Oh. We're talking about a legendary nightclub called the Lizard Lounge.
- 48:00Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 48:01Speaker 2: It's haunted.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Well, and not just the building. They say it's the
- 48:05Speaker 1: land because it is since closed. But, I mean, this
- 48:07Speaker 1: is one of the most legendary nightclubs ever in the world,
- 48:11Speaker 1: but especially in Dallas, Lizard Lounge, one of the most
- 48:14Speaker 1: haunted buildings, they say, as well. It was built around
- 48:17Speaker 1: the turn of the 20th century, so a long time ago.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Before it was a Lizard Lounge, it was called Grand
- 48:23Speaker 1: Crystal Palace.
- 48:25Speaker 2: And it was a theater.
- 48:26Speaker 1: And that's when people really started noticing that there was
- 48:29Speaker 1: some crazy things happening in the buildings. Then in, I
- 48:33Speaker 1: think it was 1991, it changed into the Lizard Lounge.
- 48:37Speaker 1: It became that, and it was, like, famous for electronic
- 48:40Speaker 1: music before electronic music was cool. I DJed there for
- 48:44Speaker 1: a long time, hosted parties. Then it became, you know,
- 48:47Speaker 1: the gothic-themed club night called The Church, which was legendary
- 48:51Speaker 1: as well. That still goes on. I don't know, somewhere else. Yeah,
- 48:54Speaker 1: but either way, Lizard Lounge is closed. I think the
- 48:57Speaker 1: building's still standing. But I know it's set to be
- 49:01Speaker 1: demolished soon.
- 49:01Speaker 2: Maybe it is.
- 49:02Speaker 4: Really?
- 49:03Speaker 2: 2424 Swiss Avenue.
- 49:06Speaker 1: I remember saying that so many times on the air
- 49:08Speaker 1: back in the day.
- 49:10Speaker 2: 2424 Swiss Avenue.
- 49:12Speaker 1: But one of the most famous ghost stories involves a
- 49:14Speaker 1: mystery man dressed entirely in black. And when I used
- 49:18Speaker 1: to work there and DJ there and host parties. there
- 49:20Speaker 1: back in the day, they would talk about this guy
- 49:22Speaker 1: because if you didn't know, it was beautiful, just a
- 49:25Speaker 1: gorgeous building. And it was set up like a theater,
- 49:28Speaker 1: a legitimate theater. So on the second story, there was
- 49:30Speaker 1: like almost seats and stuff and whatnot. And people would
- 49:34Speaker 1: say that you would see this guy wearing a dark suit,
- 49:37Speaker 1: almost a cape and a brimmed hat. And he would
- 49:41Speaker 1: just be standing there, but you would think he was real.
- 49:43Speaker 1: So you would look at him and you'd be like, okay,
- 49:45Speaker 1: that's kind of weird that this guy's dressed like that
- 49:47Speaker 1: and sitting back there. But then you'd go turn around
- 49:50Speaker 1: and see him and maybe tell your friend about it
- 49:52Speaker 1: and he'd be gone. And they called this guy basically Zorro.
- 49:57Speaker 1: And he would be there a lot. I never saw him,
- 50:00Speaker 1: but people would talk about it all the time there.
- 50:03Speaker 2: And it was really creepy.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Another thing that would happen back in the day is,
- 50:06Speaker 1: and this was in the days when it was a
- 50:07Speaker 1: theater before it was Lizard Lounge. When there was actresses
- 50:10Speaker 1: there and actors that would perform and whatnot, they say
- 50:14Speaker 1: that multiple actresses, especially one, would get attacked by flying
- 50:19Speaker 1: items in the dressing rooms.
- 50:21Speaker 6: What?
- 50:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:23Speaker 1: So at one point they said a hairdryer flew across
- 50:27Speaker 1: the dressing.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Room and hit a woman.
- 50:29Speaker 6: Ow!
- 50:30Speaker 1: At one point they said the iron flew across the
- 50:35Speaker 1: dressing room. And the reason I know that the dressing
- 50:38Speaker 1: rooms are the creepiest part about this place is because
- 50:40Speaker 1: that's where the office was where you'd go to get
- 50:42Speaker 1: paid back in the day.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Don and Leo. Shout out to Don and Leo.
- 50:46Speaker 1: I know, right? You'd go there to get your drink tickets.
- 50:49Speaker 1: You'd go there if you were a DJ and to
- 50:50Speaker 1: get paid at the end of the night. And you'd
- 50:52Speaker 1: kind of wait in this weird, creepy corridor. And when
- 50:55Speaker 1: I'm telling you, at first I thought they were kidding
- 50:58Speaker 1: around because they'd be like, you know, it's haunted up here.
- 51:00Speaker 1: You know, this entire building's haunted. Yeah, they would always
- 51:02Speaker 1: say that. I'd be like, yeah, okay, sure it is, right? No,
- 51:06Speaker 1: it was legitimately creepy. And the thing that I would
- 51:09Speaker 1: notice every time is you'd go up and you'd think
- 51:11Speaker 1: it was like heat rises, right? So if it was
- 51:14Speaker 1: hot in a building, you would think that when you
- 51:16Speaker 1: go upstairs, it's going to be even hotter. It would be,
- 51:20Speaker 1: there'd be patches of places up there that would be
- 51:22Speaker 1: ice cold.
- 51:24Speaker 2: And it would make no sense.
- 51:25Speaker 1: And you'd stand in that little stairwell waiting to go
- 51:28Speaker 1: in the office and you'd all of a sudden you'd
- 51:29Speaker 1: feel like, why is it so cold right here? I'm
- 51:32Speaker 1: under a vent. And you'd look up and there's no vent.
- 51:34Speaker 1: It was weird. Yeah, and they talk about that. A
- 51:39Speaker 1: lot of people notice mysterious cold spots. Then there's rumors
- 51:43Speaker 1: that people died during the construction of the building. And
- 51:46Speaker 1: that's why they say not just that building, but the
- 51:49Speaker 1: property itself is haunted. So I don't know if they...
- 51:52Speaker 1: The rumor was they were going to build a skyscraper there.
- 51:55Speaker 1: If that's the case, I can't imagine the ghost leaving.
- 51:58Speaker 4: No.
- 51:59Speaker 2: So they're going to stick around.
- 52:01Speaker 1: I don't know if it's going to be a residence
- 52:02Speaker 1: or office building, but The Lizard Lounge is said to
- 52:05Speaker 1: be one of the most haunted buildings. And it's not
- 52:08Speaker 1: just me saying it. This is stuff you can look up.
- 52:10Speaker 1: CBS has done stories about it. They've done ghost things there.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Anyone that I've ever known that worked there said it
- 52:18Speaker 1: was absolutely haunted.
- 52:19Speaker 7: Right.
- 52:20Speaker 1: And yeah.
- 52:21Speaker 2: So I don't know if you want to go down
- 52:23Speaker 2: to 2424 Swiss Avenue and just.
- 52:26Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 52:27Speaker 4: Investigate.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Investigate yourself.
- 52:29Speaker 1: Yeah. Walk around the building. It's one of the coolest
- 52:31Speaker 1: looking buildings. Before, if it's not already gone, they should absolutely.
- 52:35Speaker 1: I just hate that these buildings get torn down and
- 52:39Speaker 1: it's over. Because a gorgeous, gorgeous building. If it's still up,
- 52:46Speaker 1: which we got to check. Yeah. I looked it up.
- 52:48Speaker 1: It says it's still.
- 52:50Speaker 7: Oh, good.
- 52:50Speaker 4: It shows up. Yeah, it says temporarily closed.
- 52:53Speaker 1: If there's any way I could get permission. For how
- 52:57Speaker 1: much money would it take, Pooh, for you to stay
- 52:59Speaker 1: the night in the Lizard Lounge?
- 53:00Speaker 9: I ain't staying the night. I'll go through there, but
- 53:03Speaker 9: I ain't staying the night.
- 53:04Speaker 2: You wouldn't?
- 53:05Speaker 9: No, I don't do all that.
- 53:10Speaker 1: For $ 1, 000. $ 1, 000 would you stay the night in the
- 53:11Speaker 1: abandoned Lizard Lounge? And we could broadcast live. Yeah. By myself?
- 53:17Speaker 2: I think I could get in.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Are you going to stay with me?
- 53:21Speaker 6: No.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Are you crazy?
- 53:23Speaker 2: No, I'm not staying with you.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Speaking of Pooh, I'm still getting calls about this because
- 53:30Speaker 1: Candace Court was insane today.
- 53:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Pooh said something that I thought, you know what? He's
- 53:34Speaker 2: got to be just pure rage baiting. No. But he's
- 53:37Speaker 2: standing by it.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Basically what happened was there was a man and a wife.
- 53:41Speaker 1: They were trying to get healthy together. Man started losing
- 53:44Speaker 1: a bunch of weight. Wife wasn't. She was mad that
- 53:46Speaker 1: he was posting online on social media that all this
- 53:49Speaker 1: weight he lost, she felt.
- 53:51Speaker 2: Like, come on, man.
- 53:52Speaker 4: Yeah, you're rubbing it in my face.
- 53:54Speaker 2: You're rubbing it in my face.
- 53:56Speaker 1: And then Pooh said that there's more pressure on men.
- 54:00Speaker 1: By the way, Pooh said. Let me make that clear. Yeah,
- 54:03Speaker 1: you ain't got to clarify it. I'll say it. I'm
- 54:05Speaker 1: standing on it.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 54:07Speaker 9: Yeah, there is more pressure when it comes to being
- 54:10Speaker 9: out there in the world on men than it is
- 54:12Speaker 9: on women. By the way they look. By the way
- 54:16Speaker 9: they look. Because women can be whether you're 110 pounds
- 54:21Speaker 9: or 210 pounds.
- 54:22Speaker 1: That's absolutely not true. Somebody's going to approach you. If
- 54:25Speaker 1: you're a guy and you're overweight— It's slim pickings, unless
- 54:29Speaker 1: you got a fat wallet.
- 54:30Speaker 2: I do not agree.
- 54:31Speaker 9: Your wallet got to be as big as your tummy
- 54:33Speaker 9: in order to pull some of these baddies out there.
- 54:35Speaker 9: I'm telling you, I know.
- 54:36Speaker 2: Well, I'm telling you. That is a wild statement.
- 54:40Speaker 6: It's not.
- 54:40Speaker 1: It's facts. That's so far from the truth.
- 54:43Speaker 2: It's factual.
- 54:44Speaker 1: There's more pressure on women. I mean, it's for years,
- 54:47Speaker 1: for decades, since the beginning of time.
- 54:49Speaker 4: You can't even compare it.
- 54:51Speaker 1: From other women. There's some people that agree with Pooh, though.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Derek's on the phone. You agree with Pooh.
- 54:56Speaker 8: One hundred percent.
- 54:57Speaker 10: All right.
- 54:57Speaker 5: A guy and a guy and a wife are married.
- 55:00Speaker 5: Guy goes out and he's not losing as much weight
- 55:03Speaker 5: as what she is. She gets more attention from guys.
- 55:07Speaker 5: If he goes out and he loses more weight, he
- 55:10Speaker 5: still won't get enough attention from other women until he's
- 55:13Speaker 5: like really, really thin.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Okay.
- 55:16Speaker 5: So a woman can go out there and get any
- 55:18Speaker 5: other guy that they want. A guy goes out there
- 55:21Speaker 5: and he has to fire dinner. He has to go
- 55:23Speaker 5: out and pick him up.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 55:25Speaker 5: He has to agree with him. I'm just saying, who's right?
- 55:29Speaker 1: Preach on it, Derek.
- 55:30Speaker 4: I'm telling you.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Preach on it. You don't have to agree with him.
- 55:36Speaker 5: But it's true.
- 55:37Speaker 6: Okay.
- 55:38Speaker 7: It's so true.
- 55:39Speaker 5: A guy has to do so much more in order
- 55:41Speaker 5: to get the attention that he deserves after he loses weight.
- 55:45Speaker 2: All right. I told you there's pressure on us. Is
- 55:48Speaker 2: this Derek Poo's cousin, by the way? No.
- 55:52Speaker 1: I don't agree with your opinion, but I respect your opinion,
- 55:55Speaker 1: and you and Poo can have some drinks later and
- 55:58Speaker 1: talk about how hard it is to be a man. No.
- 56:02Speaker 1: You're the best, Derek. That was a great comment. Thank
- 56:05Speaker 1: you so much.
- 56:06Speaker 5: Hey, you guys are the best, man. I love you
- 56:08Speaker 5: guys every morning.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Love you more, man. Thank you.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Love you, love you, Derek, Derek. Now, Josh and Sherman,
- 56:17Speaker 1: good morning, Josh.
- 56:18Speaker 2: How are you?
- 56:18Speaker 8: Good morning.
- 56:19Speaker 6: I'm all right.
- 56:20Speaker 1: How are you?
- 56:20Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 56:21Speaker 7: Men definitely face pressure. But as far as more pressure,
- 56:26Speaker 7: I don't know about that. With all the advertisements going around,
- 56:30Speaker 7: Facebook and all that stuff, women definitely have a lot
- 56:32Speaker 7: of pressure. But look, man, I'm a smaller guy, but
- 56:36Speaker 7: the thing is, dad bod. Women are loving dad bod.
- 56:42Speaker 7: I'm at the point now where I feel like I
- 56:43Speaker 7: have to get fat in order to look good, you know?
- 56:45Speaker 1: You see? Oh, what?
- 56:48Speaker 2: You're right.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Now, the dad bod is celebrated. A lot of women
- 56:51Speaker 1: love the dad bod. When's the last time you heard
- 56:53Speaker 1: a man go, I love a good mom bod?
- 56:55Speaker 4: Right. You guys are just hating on mom jeans.
- 56:58Speaker 7: Married men, to be honest with you, but I mean, yeah,
- 57:02Speaker 7: if you're looking at single women, I mean.
- 57:04Speaker 8: Dude, it's everywhere.
- 57:06Speaker 1: It's everywhere.
- 57:06Speaker 8: That skinny body is everywhere. They do face more pressure
- 57:10Speaker 8: than we do. It's just different.
- 57:12Speaker 1: It is weird. See, Josh, you make sense. I appreciate you.
- 57:16Speaker 1: Talk some sense in the poo when you get some
- 57:17Speaker 1: spare time. But we appreciate you calling. And there's not
- 57:21Speaker 1: even a comparison to pressures.
- 57:22Speaker 9: No.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Come on.
- 57:23Speaker 2: We know this.
- 57:24Speaker 1: No one's going, oh, men, we struggle so hard because
- 57:27Speaker 1: we have to be a size 32.
- 57:28Speaker 4: Which parts are y'all enhancing?
- 57:30Speaker 9: Okay, first of all, the only pressure on women are
- 57:34Speaker 9: from other women.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Y'all are worried about what other women are going to say.
- 57:38Speaker 3: No, men.
- 57:39Speaker 8: It's men. It's advertisement. It's been advertised since the 60s, man.
- 57:44Speaker 1: It's everywhere. Yeah. Look what a plus-size model looks like.
- 57:48Speaker 1: A plus-size model is not plus-size.
- 57:50Speaker 2: She's normal.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Right. She's a normal, average-looking woman, and they call her
- 57:54Speaker 1: plus-size in the modeling world.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Come on, Pooh.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Stop it.
- 57:58Speaker 8: Pooh, all women are beautiful, man.
- 58:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Of course they are.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Celebrate all shapes and sizes. Yeah, I do.
- 58:06Speaker 1: We know you do.
- 58:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 58:07Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 58:08Speaker 2: Thank you, Josh. We appreciate it.
- 58:11Speaker 8: Yeah, man.
- 58:11Speaker 7: Have a good one. I love y'all.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Hey, we love you, too. Thank you, Josh.
- 58:15Speaker 4: Thanks, Josh.
- 58:16Speaker 2: We need to stop. Sometimes you need to stop celebrating.
- 58:21Speaker 3: Guess what? It's Texas Top Stories on the 10s with
- 58:25Speaker 3: Billy the Kid in the Morning.
- 58:26Speaker 6: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 58:28Speaker 2: All right, Candace Lopez, what is going on?
- 58:31Speaker 4: Well, Dickies Arena officially has a new name effective immediately.
- 58:35Speaker 4: It will now be called... Ariat Arena.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Ariat Arena.
- 58:39Speaker 4: Yeah, so after the performance Western, equestrian, the workwear brand.
- 58:43Speaker 2: At least it fits.
- 58:44Speaker 4: Yeah, it does fit.
- 58:46Speaker 2: Fits the vibe, I think, you know.
- 58:47Speaker 4: I just don't know how I'm going to get my
- 58:49Speaker 4: mind to say that after saying Dickies for so long.
- 58:52Speaker 2: You're not.
- 58:53Speaker 1: You're going to say formerly Dickies. You're going to say Dickies.
- 58:55Speaker 1: You're going to say, oh, that's right. It's just going
- 58:57Speaker 1: to be like Jaxa all over again.
- 58:59Speaker 4: Yeah, see, I wasn't here for the Jaxa time.
- 59:01Speaker 2: You weren't?
- 59:01Speaker 4: I wasn't living here during that time, so that's not
- 59:03Speaker 4: a thing to me. Smirnoff, Starplex.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Ah, yeah, you were Starplex, girlie.
- 59:07Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure. Yeah, but there was like a whole
- 59:11Speaker 4: legal dispute over naming rights payments that were overdue with Dickies.
- 59:16Speaker 4: I guess a temporary signage is up. Permanent ones are
- 59:18Speaker 4: expected to go up by the end of the year,
- 59:20Speaker 4: and then that name was will be in place for
- 59:22Speaker 4: the next 10 years. So maybe we'll get it over
- 59:24Speaker 4: the next decade.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Yeah, as soon as we get used to it after
- 59:27Speaker 2: a decade, they'll change it.
- 59:28Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. Guys, dictionary.com has picked their word of the year.
- 59:32Speaker 4: Are you ready for this? It is maxing.
- 59:36Speaker 2: Maxing.
- 59:37Speaker 4: Two X's.
- 59:38Speaker 2: Two X's. Is that even a real word?
- 59:40Speaker 4: I mean, I don't think it is. It's one of
- 59:42Speaker 4: my favorite slang words, though, that the Internet just kind
- 59:44Speaker 4: of came up with this year. It's short for maximizing.
- 59:48Speaker 4: So looks maxing is kind of how it started. And
- 59:51Speaker 4: then it spawned off to, like, fiber maxing and pheromone maxing.
- 59:56Speaker 1: It was that one influencer who made looks maxing a
- 59:59Speaker 1: whole thing.
- 59:59Speaker 2: What's his name?
- 59:59Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Clavicular.
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: He's in a bunch of shady trouble.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: That's him. Clavicular.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Is he from here?
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: No, I don't think so.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: Oh.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: But he's the guy who, like, got his jaw redone.
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: He did all this stuff to look perfect. And, I mean,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: he's already a good-looking dude.
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: Because of all the pressures to be a man in society.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Right. And looks so good.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: To the Pooh handbook and how men have it so hard.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: We do.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: We got it rough.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: How come you haven't any procedures, Pooh?
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Oh, because I'm natural beauty. I'm just, yeah, you don't
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: need no fix.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: All right. The other favorite words of the year, guys. Affordability. Appropriate.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Isn't real.
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: No, not a thing. Data center.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: And then unk.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Unk is a thing.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: Close contender for word of the year, that unk.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Yeah, unk should be word of the year.
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you what. To a man, you
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: want to suck the wind out of his sails quick,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: call him unk.
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: Oh, okay.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Call a guy who's obviously on the borderline of being
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: an unk.
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: You know, if you call someone in their 40s an unk,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: you're like, oh, man. Because I think of an unk
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: as like 60 and up.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: Over the hill.
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Usually, like, the kids I play basketball with, they'll call
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: me O.G., Okay. Which I appreciate, OG.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: That's more respect.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: Yeah, that's kind of, yeah.
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: Respectful.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Put some respect on it. You know? But Unc?
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Pooh's an Unc.
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: No, he's not.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: My Uncle Dick is Unc. No, he's an Uncle. After
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: you get old enough, you're an Uncle.
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: You're Unc. No, I'm not. It's okay, Diddy. I'm an OG.
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: No.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: I'm trying to get Pooh to be Prison Diddy for Halloween.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: People has named their sexiest man alive. Are you doing
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: a drum roll again? Okay, perfect. It's actor Noah Wiley.
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: Who?
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: Yeah, Noah Wiley. Yeah, he stars in The Pit.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, Noah Wiley.
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I think this is a good choice. He said
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: he thought this was a prank when he found out.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: I mean, he won the Golden Globe for Best Performance
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: by a Male Actor in a TV Series Drama this year.
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: He won back-to-back Emmys. The show's doing really well. He
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: does a lot, like, advocating for production jobs.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Good for him.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: And doing, you know, philanthropy.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: He's 55.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: Yeah, he's 55. Is he an unk?
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: I think he's the sexiest unk in the world.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: Oh!
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: That's what he wants.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: People's sexiest unk alive.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Well, older men are in right now.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: Yeah, they're having a moment.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: Older men have always kind of been in.
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: I don't know, but I feel like older men are doing,
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: they're thriving right now.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: They're being celebrated for sure.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: And I think it's because younger dudes are just, it's
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: a mess.
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: The younger generation.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: Their looks maxing. The older dudes are unk maxing.

- 1:02:35Speaker 4: Mature maxing.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: We're mature maxing. Fiber maxing.
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Peptide maxing, protein maxing.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: That's a good point.
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: I'm doing all the maxing.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: It's not working, but I'm trying.
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: Oh, well, congrats to Noah Wiley and all the fans

- 1:03:57Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Are you good at it?
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: No, I'm okay.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Where did you milk a cow? Why would I think
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: this would be opposite?
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: Where did you milk a cow? I did it one
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: time in Fort Worth. I did it one time in
- 1:04:08Speaker 9: East Texas. Actually, I did it twice in East Texas.
- 1:04:10Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: In Longview, Texas.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: That fun, huh?
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: You're like, I can't get enough.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I was younger, a lot younger when I did it,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: but yeah, I did it.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: So you don't think you can do it now that
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: you're older?
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sure I could do it.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: Do unks milk?
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: All right. Secrets at 833-787-1029. I've never milked a cow.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I milked a goat.
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: That's right.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: But never milked a cow.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: Well, you should do it, I guess. I guess we
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: both should. It sounds fun. Who likes it?
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: We'll do it together. Who likes it? It makes me
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: feel like I wouldn't like it. But whatever.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: You have a secret. Go ahead. What's going on?
- 1:04:47Speaker 8: All right. I've been married about six months. I have
- 1:04:50Speaker 8: a secret for my wife, something I do every night.
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: And I do know she would lose her mind if
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: she knew that I was doing it.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: She would lose her mind if she knew you were
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: doing it.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: What is your secret? Now I'm nervous. What is your
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: secret that you do every night?
- 1:05:04Speaker 8: No, it's not that bad. Every night before bed, I
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: call my mom to say goodnight.
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: Oh.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: What's wrong with that?
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: I did not expect that. You call your mom.
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: That's a wholesome secret, right? Yeah.
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: What do you mean you call your mom to say goodnight?
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: So it started when I was a little kid. My
- 1:05:22Speaker 8: parents got divorced. And when I would stay at my
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: dad's house, I'd call my mom before bed. You know,
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: maybe she'd read me a story, whatever. But we'd check
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: in and we'd say goodnight. And that became like a tradition.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: Oh.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: So.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Is this Enzo?
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: This is really sweet.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: Candace's son?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: It's.
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: This is going to be Enzo when he's older.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: Yeah, it is.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: So he calls, which is not a bad thing. You
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: should talk to your mom. There's nothing wrong with talking
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: to your mom.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: My mom texts me at night every night, but she
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: texts me.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: I call my mom. I mean, I call my mom.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: I try to call my mom every day.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: You should.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Now, but
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: what is going on? She's not reading you bedtime stories anymore, right?
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: I hope not.
- 1:05:59Speaker 8: Not reading me bedtime stories. We're just chatting and saying goodnight.
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: But when my wife and I first moved in, she
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: thought it was so weird. Like a grown man is
- 1:06:08Speaker 8: calling his mommy before bed. And she was like making
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: it a thing. You guys seem to be on my side.
- 1:06:15Speaker 8: You seem to not think it's that weird. But for
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: whatever reason, it made her furious. I mean, we got
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: into a fight. She was saying, I'm married. I should
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: be more focused on my own family and not calling
- 1:06:24Speaker 8: my mom. Like I'm five years old.
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: OK, so you're not talking to your wife all day
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: or you're not communicating as much with your wife for
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: some reason. Yeah, that's that's a problem.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: There's got to be something that's triggering her to be mad.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I'm not saying you're lying to me, but I feel
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: like there's just got to be something that's making her go, okay,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: this is why it annoys me. If I felt like
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: I was talking to her, I feel like she would
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: tell me, okay, he's not telling the whole truth. Here's
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: what really happens.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: Well, honestly, I think what most got on her nerves is.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Our little rhyme.
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: Rhyme?
- 1:06:59Speaker 8: Yeah, my mom and I have a little saying. Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Hold on. Hold on.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: What do you mean you have a little saying? This
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: is what, okay. What do you mean you have a little,
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: first of all, I want to hear it. What do
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: you mean? You have a saying?
- 1:07:14Speaker 8: I feel like I'm setting myself up to be made
- 1:07:18Speaker 8: fun of after you guys were on my side.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Okay. That's okay.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: You got to be honest with us. We'll work through
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: this together. Yeah. You're on the phone with your mom.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: You say this before you hang up or when do
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: you say, what is it? What did go ahead? What
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: is it? I'm nervous.
- 1:07:30Speaker 8: Yeah, so I say, nighty-night, mommy, mommy, and she says, nighty-night, Tommy, Tommy.
- 1:07:36Speaker 10: And then we say at the same time, love you forever.
- 1:07:45Speaker 8: Oh, wow.
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: That's a lot to process as a wife hearing your
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: husband say that.
- 1:07:55Speaker 8: I don't even understand. We've been doing this since I
- 1:07:57Speaker 8: was a kid. I didn't invent this like yesterday. It's
- 1:08:00Speaker 8: been going on.
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: It's sweet.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Listen, Tommy, Tommy, I'm rarely speechless. I am so okay.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: You say nighty night, mommy, mommy. And she says, good night.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: Nighty night. Tommy, Tommy.
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: Love you forever.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Love you forever. And then you guys say that together.
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: So for whatever reason, my wife thinks that's creepy and childish,
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: so I had to tell her that I stopped doing it,
- 1:08:32Speaker 8: but now I just do it in the garage every night.
- 1:08:34Speaker 6: No!
- 1:08:35Speaker 7: Oh!
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: So you told now it's getting better so you told
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: your wife that no we don't i don't call my
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: mom anymore but you go to you go to the
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: garage to call her oh.
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: Well i'll pretend i'm taking out the trash or i
- 1:08:48Speaker 8: forgot something in the car or whatever i shouldn't have
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: to do that i love my wife she's amazing we're
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: very happy but i mean i i love my mom
- 1:08:58Speaker 8: too and i don't understand why they're two things are
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: in competition.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Right and they shouldn't be you're right but there's obviously
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: i think we found out what exactly was triggering her
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: right this is a little much yeah um But I
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: don't know.
- 1:09:14Speaker 8: Even if you think it's weird, it's like a two
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: minute call. And I just think it was worth fighting
- 1:09:18Speaker 8: with life about. So I'm just doing a binder back now.
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: And I don't plan on stopping either. I mean, you know,
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: I'll go. I'll go every night because that's what I've done.
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: And that's what I'll do.
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: I'm not saying you should stop. Candace, would you tell
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: your husband to stop?
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: No, I wouldn't tell him to stop. But I'd be like,
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: at least how serious is he taking this? Because I'd
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: be like, ha ha, mama. You know what I mean?
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like a joke.
- 1:09:43Speaker 9: Right.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Don't make fun of it. Yeah, he's really serious.
- 1:09:46Speaker 8: I mean, we know that it's a funny thing to do.
- 1:09:49Speaker 8: We're not insane.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Right, right.
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: In the grand scheme of life, it's loving and it's
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: cute and sweet. So, like, I mean, there's worse things
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: in the world. Is it awesome to have to witness
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: every day?
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Okay, listen, I know you're being nice, Candice.
- 1:10:03Speaker 6: Maybe not.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: Would it weird you out?
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: A little bit.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:10:06Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: I'm not saying it's not cute. It's cute when you're eight.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: It's cute when you're seven.
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: Mike, Enzo and I all go, and he'll go.
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: Oh, boy.
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: Like kiss.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Kiss, kiss.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: Which is adorable.
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: I don't kiss him like that.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: No, I know, but it's adorable.
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: It's like an air kiss.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: He's eight.
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: When I shut his door at night.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Yeah, when he's eight, it's fine.
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: Yeah, like, you know, people say love you to the
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: moon and back.
- 1:10:29Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: Everybody has their little thing.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: Love you more.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: Love you more. No, I love you more.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: No, I love you the most. Yeah, it just gets
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: a little different when you're grown and you have a
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: wife and a family. But hey, sir, we're not here
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: to judge. We're here to make sure you're happy. It's
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: a no-judgment zone, and you're happy. And you sound like
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: a good guy. You sound nice. That's your thing.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: You should be authentically you no matter what.
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree.
- 1:10:51Speaker 8: Thank you for that. And you know what? I love
- 1:10:54Speaker 8: all you to the moon and back.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Well, I love you to the moon and back. Nighty-night,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Tommy Tommy.
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: Love you forever.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Nighty-night, radio crew.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: Yeah, you didn't say it at the same time, Candace.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Oh, sorry.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: Ready?
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Love you forever.
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: Yay!
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: How sweet. Now, Brittany Collins, she thought it was really sweet.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: She said if her husband did, she wouldn't be mad.
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: Aw, that's nice.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: I feel like that's hard to believe, though. Come on. Yeah.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: I mean, really? Nighty?
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: Nighty night, Tommy Tommy. What? First of all, mommy?
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: Yeah, that's tough.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Is that the weird part?
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: Good night, mom.
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: Love you.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Love you, mom.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: All right, night, mom.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: Love you.
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: Talk tomorrow.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: A grown man who calls their mom mommy?
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: Love you, mommy.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Love you.
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: Ooh. Yeah.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Like that. No, don't call my mom mommy.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Actually, if my son will sometimes purposely annoy me, he'll
