- 1:00music station online since two thousand and eight. So although we're not new to
- 1:03this, Amen, I would like to say we're still growing. Amen.
- 1:07Because God is good. God's good. He spoke a word and that word
- 1:11came to pass Amen. How many people know that when God says a thing,
- 1:15it is a thing. Amen. Just be faithful to what God is
- 1:19doing in your life, Amen, and you will see the fruit of it
- 1:22grow. Amen. Sister Joanne, Good morning, God bless y'all see you.
- 1:25Good morning. So today's topic or today's title is called why God.
- 1:33Now I'm gonna have to emphasize it, right so you understand what I'm trying
- 1:37to say. It's not why God? Like why do we believe in God?
- 1:42Is why God? Why do these things happen? That type of emphasis.
- 1:47Amen. And I wrote in my notes because this is something that I
- 1:53know it is gonna take. I can't do this all on one sitting on
- 1:57the morning Devo because it's a huge topic. Hey man, but I said,
- 2:01let me let me skim the surface, as I always doing this more
- 2:06than Devo. So why do you think God allows believers to suffer? Believers?
- 2:12I'm not talking about you know, bad people or people who are atheists
- 2:15or people who do evil things. Why do we believers in Christ, the
- 2:22body of Christ? Why do you think God allows believers to suffer? And
- 2:28on top of that, what's the purpose of suffering? I wish I could
- 2:32tell you that once you got saved, right, everything goes away, All
- 2:37the problems go away. No issues in life, right, no trials,
- 2:40no tribulation. I wish I could tell you that, but that's not the
- 2:44case. And God knows our life and he knows we're going to have trials
- 2:49and tribulations in this world, and Jesus promised that. But you don't see
- 2:53a lot of people with t shirts that quotes Jesus promise that we will have
- 2:59trouble in this world and trials in this world. That's the problems from Jesus
- 3:04the Lord. But he's with us a man, in those troubles, in
- 3:07those trials. So you know, it's okay, why God, why did
- 3:13this happen? Why am I going through this? Amen? The people say,
- 3:16oh, you can't question God, you can't question God. But it's
- 3:19weird that when people say that. When you read the scriptures for yourself,
- 3:23everybody in the scripture's question God. Amen. Pretty much all the popular characters
- 3:28in the scriptures all questioned God, and what did God do? Other than
- 3:31in the Book of Job, when Job questioned God, then God himself said,
- 3:37okay, Joe, brace yourself like a man and let me ask you
- 3:42questions Job and then boom, it was like all these questions to Job,
- 3:46and I know Joe was like, oh, I don't know the answers to
- 3:50none of those. Because God is sovereign, he knows the beginning from the
- 3:53end to end, from the beginning a man, because he don't sit under
- 3:57a calendar. He doesn't look at a calendar like we do. Amen.
- 4:00He's an eternal being, internal God, and he loves you and he loves
- 4:03me. So when you go to God and say why God, I believe
- 4:08God has answers for why we suffer? Amen? And what is the purpose
- 4:13of suffering? Here in the morning Devo this morning, just in case you
- 4:15ever asked that, Amen, Just believe that, believe this. You're not
- 4:19alone in asking that question. Hello, or we all ask that question every
- 4:24now and then. God bless you as well. God bless you. Welcome
- 4:27to the morning Devo. So listen, we're gonna be in Second Thessalonians,
- 4:34Second Thessalonians Chapter one, Versus five and six, and the New Covenant.
- 4:39Amen, on today's morning Devo, where we emphasize why God, not why
- 4:45do we believe in God? But why God? Why do you allow believers
- 4:47your children to suffer. And on top of that, what is the purpose
- 4:53of suffering? Amen? There's a song that was released years ago by Christian
- 5:00hip hop artists Amen, and the chorus says, you live, you suffered,
- 5:04you die, You're born, you suffered, you die. That's the
- 5:08way it was. And I still think about that. I said, man,
- 5:11that's not really like a cheery type of chorus on inspirational chorus. But
- 5:15when you look into scriptures, Amen, pretty accurate. Right. But the
- 5:21thing is, we only die once. And I don't want to confuse people
- 5:26who don't believe, but Christians listen to me, believes in christ system.
- 5:30We only die once. You know, a person that doesn't have the Lord
- 5:32Jesus living inside of them, they don't trust to him, they don't believe
- 5:35in him. You know that they dies twice. That's another situation, Amen,
- 5:41But it's in the scriptures. Look it up. But yeah, we're
- 5:44gonna be in. Let me mind my business, right, be a second
- 5:46Thessalonians Chapter number one, verses five and six. So let's pray first.
- 5:50After we pray, we'll shit it out for like sixty seconds. Then when
- 5:55we come back on the other side of those sixty seconds, we'll get right
- 5:58into today's titled Why God on Second Thessalonian Chapter one Versus five and six.
- 6:04So if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or any prayer requests,
- 6:09don't hesitate to leave it on a live chat. That's what we're here
- 6:11for. And if you want to leave the message on the podcast or through
- 6:16Soul Winners, what it's either Orgy Celebrator Network. If you're listening over there,
- 6:20go to the contact page. Amen, and let's connect. Let's stay
- 6:24connected. Amen. Father, Thank you, Lord God for every single person
- 6:28on the other side of the screen and on the other side of this mic.
- 6:30Thank you so much for their lives. Thank you, Lord God for
- 6:33encouraging them, supporting them, fulfilling their every desire, their dreams. Thank
- 6:39you, Lord God for placing a word in our hearts. Mutually, Low
- 6:42God as we read your word. But thank you, Lo God for me
- 6:45and my family, for you guiding, guarding and protecting us as well.
- 6:47And I pray the same blessing overflow blessing to every single person that's connected now
- 6:54and we'll connect later to this morning. Devo. I pray Lord God that
- 6:58you will show us and be the teacher that you are and explain how you
- 7:01want to explain to us individually of why do we suffer? Well, God,
- 7:08thank you, Lord God, for showing yourself, revealing yourself through your
- 7:11word, through others, and through a personal revelation. For each, every
- 7:16and every individual that's willing to listen to your word and take heed and apply
- 7:21your word, give us a greater measure of faith. In the name of
- 7:25Jesus, I pray a head of protection over all people in my family,
- 7:29my whole entire blood line, from the very youngest to the very oldest,
- 7:32and everyone in between. And I pray that same protection in the name of
- 7:39Jesus over every single person on the other side of the screen and on the
- 7:42other side of this might to our set forth arqueen angels, minister angels,
- 7:46warring angels, to annihilate the tactics of the enemy, in the name of
- 7:48the powerful God of heaven and Earth, the Lord Jesus Christ. So in
- 7:53Jesus name, we pray this by faith, and all those who agree with
- 7:56this prayer we say Amen and Amen. So let's take sixty seconds to help
- 8:01me share this out. I'm going to be sharing as much as I can
- 8:03as well. Amen. As a matter of fact, let me get a
- 8:05quick head start here and share it on my storyline. This thing is it's
- 8:11hard to share in sixty seconds, but you could keep on going and sharing
- 8:15after the sixty seconds. It's just me. I like to get back to
- 8:18the screen after the sixty seconds. Amen. So let's go for it sixty
- 8:22seconds. When we come back, we'll get right into today's topic. Why
- 8:26God, I'll be right back Amen. Amen. With that time it goes
- 9:41by fast. So let's see what God has for us today, right now
- 9:45in this moment, Amen, on this segment, God's faithful to his word.
- 9:48And basically, if you to be honest, that's all we need.
- 9:52We need the word of God because we know that without him we could do
- 9:56nothing, but with him we could do all things. The Bible said.
- 10:00The Lord says it, Amen, Holy Spirit. God reminds us of every
- 10:03single word that was ardered to our spirit. And when you have work,
- 10:09when you're walking around with a save soul, everything everything's different because God is
- 10:13that good. Amen. So we don't have to worry, we don't have
- 10:16to be anxious. Amen. We just have to trust God and believe in
- 10:20God. The other day I was talking about like finance finances, and I
- 10:26was I'm talking to a young brother in Christ, and I was like,
- 10:30man, I don't understand why we, as believers in at least in my
- 10:37region, we still have this issue with this money. We should be over
- 10:41this money thing and be able to do everything that God wants us to do.
- 10:46Money shouldn't be an issue. And I'm said, I'm like, I
- 10:50was corning scripture, but I said, wait, I must be having doubt
- 10:52in my life for because Jesus said we asked him and to do anything,
- 10:56he will do it. But we can't doubt. So I'm asking God,
- 11:01okay, help me with my doubt. I must be doubting somewhere along the
- 11:03line when it comes to financial breakthrough because we're supposed to have it. We're
- 11:07supposed to walk in it. We're supposed to be the lender, not the
- 11:11borrower. We're supposed to be above, not below. We're supposed to be
- 11:13moving in total victory, not just victory in certain areas, but in total
- 11:18victory. Amen, So be mindful that I do this. Why God stuff
- 11:26too? I do that, Amen. I know people say you're not supposed
- 11:28to do that. That's disrespectful. No. I think when you read the
- 11:33scriptures, you see a lot of the people in the Bible asking God,
- 11:37like what's going on? Isn't that something that any human being will want to
- 11:43know? Like? What's going on here? Now? I will say this,
- 11:46though God is not obligated to answer any one of my questions or anyone
- 11:50of your. He's not obligated, right. He will reveal what he wants
- 11:56to reveal when he wants to reveal it. Amen. And if he wants
- 12:00to reveal it, because maybe the answer that we're looking for, it will
- 12:03be too much on this side of eternity for us to understand anyhow. And
- 12:09God is not a god who's going to punish us, who's going to torment
- 12:13us, none of that. So he'll probably just be silent in moments where
- 12:16he knows that if we get certain answers to certain questions to soon, it'll
- 12:24probably mess us up. And God's not here to mess us up. Amen.
- 12:28God, blessed brothers, and we got a blessing coming in on Facebook.
- 12:31Hey man, let me take a quick sip before we get into the
- 12:37slide show for today's morning debo. Amen. All right, So it's like
- 12:46I've prepared this on the screen. Let questions, right, if you just
- 12:52joined us, here are the two questions. Why do you think God allows
- 12:54believers talking about Christians, christ followers, children of the Men, children of
- 13:01the Promise. Amen, We're not immune to suffering. Right, And I'm
- 13:09gonna leave it right there. I'm not gonna say, well, if I
- 13:11was God, I'm not gonna do that. I don't play those games.
- 13:13That it is what it is according to the scriptures. We are going to
- 13:18be in some situations here on this side of eternity because this is a broken
- 13:22world. Amen. But God ultimately is going to fix everything. Amen.
- 13:28He's not gonna leave us alone and abandoned. He's not going to just watch
- 13:33us, you know, go away shut out to brother Nando and Brother Orlando
- 13:39Garcia with us as well. Amen, I see you guys, So we're
- 13:46in good hands'sychon Thessalonians, Hey man, let me put it on the screen
- 13:48for those who are watching and for those who are just listening, no worries.
- 13:52I want to read a word for word, so that way you don't
- 13:54miss a beat. Amen. Everybody's gonna get the sauce today. So second
- 14:01Thessalonians, chapter number one, Versus five and six. Ready, this is
- 14:11evidence of the righteous judgment of God. God is the judge. When people
- 14:18say, man, only God could judge me, they're right, and God
- 14:22will. This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God. That you may
- 14:28be considered worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering.
- 14:35See that people in the Kingdom of God suffer here on this side of
- 14:41eternity. And I don't think we're suffering in the Kingdom. We're suffering because
- 14:46we're in a broken world. Since indeed, God considers it just to repay
- 14:54with affliction those who afflict you. So in other words, yeah, he
- 14:58sees our trials. The Lord sees that we're suffering, but he also sees
- 15:01those who are causing their affliction. And guess what, God considers it just
- 15:07to repay with affliction those who afflict you and me. I believe that's why
- 15:16in this world so many people mock our God, the God of the Christians,
- 15:20right, And they don't mock Muhammad. They don't mock any other religion
- 15:24really that like they do Christianity. They mock our Lord. Why because we
- 15:30respond with love and we respond differently. We're not getting up grabbing guns and
- 15:35shooting everybody out because you disrespected my God. Other religions will do that,
- 15:41And I believe that's why a lot of these people who are causing affliction and
- 15:46are mocking our God, and they're outside of the kingdom looking in, they
- 15:50just default to Christ and his followers to mock and to make ridicule and to
- 15:58make fun. Amen. That's why see these artists on crosses and doing all
- 16:03kind of crazy things and blasphemous things, right because they know that we're going
- 16:07to respond differently. We respond to love. But what they don't know,
- 16:14or maybe they do, they just don't fear God, is that God considers
- 16:18it just to those who are paid with affliction, to those who afflict us.
- 16:26This is the evidence of the righteous judgment of God. We're considered worthy
- 16:30of the Kingdom of God. That's what the enemy does not want us to
- 16:36understand. He doesn't want us to know when we go why God. The
- 16:38enemy doesn't want us to listen to the answer. We're considered worthy of the
- 16:44kingdom. People are going around saying I'm not worthy. Who said that you're
- 16:48not worthy? That's what I want to know. Does God say you're not
- 16:53worthy? Of the kingdom. You're not worthy of salvation, You're not worthy
- 16:56of Where does it say that? Where do we get to? I know
- 17:00for sure? In the Old Covenant, the prophets came and they were saying
- 17:04some things, and they were prophesying over the people who God told them to
- 17:08go and prophesy over. There was a lot of warnings going on. Right
- 17:14then. You see in the Book of Revelation a lot of warnings and things
- 17:15going on. But in between the Gospels and in between the Revelation and Genesis,
- 17:22there's a threat of redemption, love, grace, mercy all through the
- 17:26scriptures, and God is saying you are worthy. God's promises are all yeah,
- 17:32and man, excuse me, and he will do what he says he
- 17:34will do in your life. But we keep for whatever reason, as in
- 17:40general, the Christian Church keeps beating ourselves down for some reason, we're like,
- 17:45we're not worthy, We're not this, and we're not that. We're
- 17:49saying everything that Jesus says we are. We're saying we're all right. That's
- 17:53weird. We gotta be careful with that. Enemy is trying to convince us
- 17:59otherwise, God bless you as well. Welcome to the morning Devo. So
- 18:04wherever that's coming from, that you're not worthy, you're not good. We're
- 18:08suffering because God is punishing us. Wherever that's coming from, go to the
- 18:12scriptures for yourself and check if that's And I could guarantee you that once you're
- 18:21born again, you're saved. God is not punishing us. As a matter
- 18:25of fact, he took the punishment. Jesus took the punishment on himself,
- 18:29punishment of the whole world on himself. Right, he dealt with the sin
- 18:33that and put the sin on himself. Yet he himself did not sin.
- 18:37He only did that once for all time once, and he doesn't have to
- 18:42do that again. And he's not punishing you. He's not punishing me.
- 18:47But there is a day coming for all those who afflicted us, who mocked
- 18:52our God. The Bible says, don't be deceived, do not be deceived.
- 18:56God is not mocked what a man shows. He would read what he
- 19:00reaps it with. So you sow mockery, and you so ridicule, and
- 19:03you downplay the Lord as being who he is, and you make fun of
- 19:07Christians, and you slap Christians around, and you bully Christians around, the
- 19:14law says, it's a day of repayment. It's coming to those who afflicted
- 19:18us. Amen. So there's a purpose in there, right, there's a
- 19:23purpose of why we suffer. This is a common objection right to the truth
- 19:32of being a Christ follower and the existence of God. People go around saying
- 19:37like this, and you know, rightfully, so, this is a good
- 19:41question. If God truly exists, why do evil and suffering exist. That's
- 19:48a good question, and it deserves an answer. The best way we can
- 19:52answer, let's answer. Don't run from that. Amen. The scriptures talks
- 19:55about afflictions. The scriptures talk about suffering. The scriptures talks about happened when
- 20:00man kind sind or disobey the Holy God. And the Bible also says that
- 20:07it wasn't Adam that was deceived, it was the woman Eve that was deceived.
- 20:11That's another topic, a man, if you read the scriptures clearly,
- 20:15you'll see what really happened. That's a good question. Or people say,
- 20:21if God is truly good, why do God's people still suffer? These are
- 20:26good questions. Man, don't back up off these questions because you and I
- 20:30know that we suffer, and man, don't be too spiritual to be like,
- 20:33oh no, we as Christians, we don't suffer. Don't lie.
- 20:37Amen. There was a preacher who came to my church and I like what
- 20:40he says. Name is Jamie Parr. Liked what he said. He says,
- 20:41just tell the truth, right, just tell the truth and let everything
- 20:47else lie and rest on the Lord's word. Amen. All will bow down
- 20:51and confess that he is Lord. Amen. So I always plead with people.
- 20:56You know, one day you get to bow down to the Lord anyway,
- 21:00So why why not do it willingly right now when you have a chance.
- 21:04The question is that we suffer. Why do we suffer? But we're
- 21:10believers, so imagine unbelievers. It's the way the enemy paints the picture of
- 21:18unbelievers living his life that is carefree. That they don't get touched by this.
- 21:22They touched by that. They're in the in crowd. They got money,
- 21:25fame, wealth, all that that's all a facade, because you do
- 21:29know that one day that's all it to be gone. Amen. But let's
- 21:34deal with why we suffer. Amen. If God is truly good, and
- 21:41you know that's what I say every time I leave these money, that God
- 21:44is good and it's not an if to me. I know he's good,
- 21:48but this is a question. If God is truly good, and just why
- 21:52do God's people, his world prechart truly go through suffering? So is it
- 22:00right that God allows us follow us to experience pain and persecution? There is
- 22:06a ministry in pain. Physically, when you feel pain in your body,
- 22:08that's your body telling you that something's wrong. Spiritually, when you feel pain,
- 22:12that's the Lord and Holy Spirit of God saying that's something going on.
- 22:17A man. Pain is suffering is joining into right our pain and suffering,
- 22:23joins into the pain and suffering that the Lord suffered and took upon himself.
- 22:29So when we have that, Amen, I know it sounds weird, but
- 22:33we actually joining in the pain and suffering that Jesus, our Lord suffered.
- 22:37Amen, and he took it off for us. And we're gonna have this,
- 22:41like I call it, like an after effect. A man of what
- 22:45the world does a man. So, since we're in this world, but
- 22:48we're not of this world, listen closely. We're in this world obviously,
- 22:52but we're not of this world's system. We're a part of not the kingdom
- 22:56of darkness. We're part of the kingdom of God. We belong to the
- 22:59Kingdom of Light, the Kingdom of Goodness. Amen. The kingdom of this
- 23:03world, yeah, they suffer as well, but the Kingdom of God.
- 23:07Amen. Inside the Kingdom, we don't suffer. I believe is that we're
- 23:10suffering because we're in this broken world. But we suffer differently. We go
- 23:14through pain differently. We even mourn when we lose a loved one. We
- 23:17more in differently. Why because we have a hope. World ain't got no
- 23:21hope. What is the world hoping and trusting in? Amen? And who
- 23:25is the world trusting in? Pretty much themselves? Right, or pretty much
- 23:29any person who sets themselves up as some kind of a leader or guru,
- 23:33or a rich person or movie star or an athlete. Amen. Good morning,
- 23:38Good morning, God bless you. I can't see none of your names.
- 23:41There's in the details amen, of wherever you're watching, whatever page you're
- 23:47on. If you click and give me permission to see your name, I'll
- 23:49be able to see your name. Amen. So, but God bless you,
- 23:52Thank you so much for coming through. Sister Joyce, I see you.
- 23:55Good morning, God bless you. Praise the Lord. Yes. So
- 24:00is it right that God allows his followers to experience pain and persecution. I
- 24:07mean God is a righteous judge. We already saw in the scriptures that he's
- 24:11the righteous judge. Amen. And he's good. It's full of grace and
- 24:15mercy truth. So hear a lot of people say that they believe that God
- 24:23has deserted them because sometimes we go through some things and we feel like we're
- 24:27still alone, and we need to remind at least I need to remind.
- 24:32I can't speak for you. I remind myself daily. I'm never alone.
- 24:36I could be in an island all by myself, but I'm never alone.
- 24:41I have Holy Spirit of God living in me. Can't get closer to God.
- 24:44When you have communion with Jesus through Holy Spirit, you can't get any
- 24:47closer than that. Amen. I know people we like to say, oh,
- 24:51we need to spend more time with God. So he's already inside of
- 24:53every single believer. Amen. Just listen. He speaks. We have to
- 24:57learn how to listen to what he's saying. Amen. The voice of Jesus,
- 25:03the voice of Holy Spirit God is different than the voice of this world.
- 25:06Most of the time the world is shouting you down, and most of
- 25:10the time the Lord is speaking his still small voice, calm because he's not
- 25:12moved by any circumstance. He's not angry, slow to anger, he's not
- 25:18nervous. Right, He's not anxious. Amen. He's a pure, holy,
- 25:21love and righteous God who loves you and loves me so much that he
- 25:26speaks with a sound voice, a small voice. He quiets our spirit.
- 25:30Amen. He speaks truth every single time. He loves us. He's full
- 25:34of grace and mercy and compassion for us. So he knows when we're going
- 25:38through pain and suffering. He knows, as a matter of fact, when
- 25:42somebody's going through stuff like that. You know what I do. I kind
- 25:47of like listen to what they're going through, and I listen to learn from
- 25:49what they're going through. The Bible says that God is closest to the broken
- 25:53hearted, those who are struggling, going through pain and suffering. Amen.
- 25:57I gravitate to them and listen to their story because I know that God's going
- 26:02to speak through them for what they're going through, and they're still believing,
- 26:04still trusting God. That's power right there, Amen. And one day that'll
- 26:11be me, one day that'll be you going through this crazy stuff that this
- 26:15world has us going through Notice, I say, the world has us going
- 26:19through this. God allows things to happen because ultimately he says that the people
- 26:25who like bother us and not bother us persecute us or whatever you want to
- 26:30call the word. There's a day of for payment, and God's going to
- 26:37take care of that. That's why he says vengeance belongs to him. So
- 26:41I know sometimes we want to take things in our own hands. So I'm
- 26:44gonna get back at this person for doing this. That and the third Jesus
- 26:48God's word, the Lord, the Father says no, don't do that.
- 26:52I'll take care of it a man. And when God says he's gonna intervene,
- 26:57step to the side. His gods going to do the best, do
- 27:00it the best way, and man the perfect way. He's gonna handle his
- 27:03business. Amen. We need to just mind our business, which is the
- 27:07Kingdom of God. That's our business, the kingdom business, and let God
- 27:11do what he does. Amen. That way we could stay out of the
- 27:15way. We won't be part of nobody's pain and suffering. Amen. We
- 27:18should never be the cause of somebody's demise. We should never be the cause
- 27:22or celebrate when somebody's going through pain, even whether or not they deserve it
- 27:27or not, whether we feel they deserve it or not. You know,
- 27:30I've come along and I've seen some evil people do some evil things in this
- 27:36world, and yeah, the thought comes and yeah, that's what you deserve,
- 27:38amen. But I don't think that thought is coming from the Lord.
- 27:41I believe that thought is coming from my consciousness. That's saying something's wrong and
- 27:47they shouldn't be doing that, and they should get caught. Very simple example.
- 27:53There's a place there's a speed trap along the way. When I go
- 27:57to my pharmacy. You supposed to go thirty five miles an hour, and
- 28:02I see people flying there. They they you know, they get behind you,
- 28:06they cank the horn because I'm going to speed limit, but they want
- 28:08to go sixty miles an hour. There's two lanes. I always in my
- 28:11mind it's two lanes. Could go around, but I'm not getting no speeding
- 28:15ticket for nobody else. So while people speed around me and honk the horn
- 28:19and you know, give me the middle finger and all that stuff, in
- 28:22my mind, I hope they get caught. And sometimes they do get caught,
- 28:26But I always think, how about if I get caught doing like five
- 28:30miles over the speed limit. I'm not gonna be too happy and I'm gonna
- 28:33be like. The first thing I think I'll say to the office is,
- 28:34man, you're gonna stop me for being five miles over when people go sixty
- 28:38seventy miles an hour down the same road. Man, it's just human nature.
- 28:42But I don't celebrate. I'll be honest. I'll celebrate when somebody gets
- 28:47pulled over and gets that speeding ticket. But I am mindful that that could
- 28:52be me if I break the law. Since the Joanne says I know how
- 28:55it is to be in pain and that I went for a procedure the other
- 29:00day and you wouldn't believe it. I took my dog with me in my
- 29:06stroller that I had brought a while back, and when I got up from
- 29:11the seat when they called my name to go back to the procedure, my
- 29:15dogs started crying, excuse me. I think they sent that, Sue,
- 29:21and God knows what we go through. They sense that too, and I
- 29:25thank God for another day that it gives me. Amen. Amen. Yet,
- 29:27dogs are definitely pets, and dogs are definitely in tune when we suffer.
- 29:33As a matter of fact, if you notice that when you're sick,
- 29:37your dog usually goes on the side of you, and just this there,
- 29:41and men they have this instinct to be compassionate for their owners, amen for
- 29:47their masters. So people think they've been deserted when they go through this pain
- 29:52and suffering. But like my sister says, she thanks God for another day
- 29:56that he gives her. And closely, sister Juanne goes through a lot of
- 30:02things. And because she goes through a lot of things, you need to
- 30:04listen to what she's saying. She's still giving God glory, honor, praise,
- 30:07and worship through all her situations. And if you've been following us on
- 30:14these morning DeVos and reading her comments, you'll notice the threads she always thanks
- 30:18God. She knows something. A principle that I've taught and I've learned is
- 30:25that no matter what, you still thank God. Why because God has the
- 30:30perfect plan for your life and for my life. Whatever we go through,
- 30:33people are watching us when we're in pain and suffering. They want to know
- 30:37how we respond. As God's children. It should be different than how they
- 30:41respond. And the world knows that. That's why you ever been in a
- 30:47person's path, and they go, I thought you Christians was supposed to do
- 30:49that. How did they know that? If they're not born again, they're
- 30:52not Christians, But they know enough that we're supposed to be different than how
- 30:56the world responds. We're supposed to respond differently in the world's then the way
- 31:00the world responds to pain and suffering, just the way it is so in
- 31:04today's verse, we were in right second Thessalonians. Paul said that the fact
- 31:10that the Thessalonians was suffering for God's kingdom wasn't evidence that God had abandoned them.
- 31:17The contrary, that's evidence that God's with them. Amen, Paul Russell,
- 31:22God bless you. It's our souls that need to be made comfortable,
- 31:26comfortable to Christ, conformable. I'm sorry, I'm reading these things from these
- 31:30glasses on glary. Conformed to Christ. Yes, we're gonna be made to
- 31:36be like Christ. Thank you for your comment. So, Paul said that
- 31:40the fact that the Thessalonians the Christians were suffering for God's kingdom wasn't evidence that
- 31:45God had abandoned them. On the contrary, it was actually evidence that God
- 31:49was judging righteously and that he was on their side. If God before us
- 31:56who could be against us? Right, So the Thessalonians had been considered worthy
- 32:02of suffering for the Kingdom of God temporarily. This is a temporary time.
- 32:08We're here. Right after we you know, people who make fun of Christians,
- 32:13they're gonna be like man, I wish the Christians were here, because
- 32:15when God takes us out of here and the spirit of God is off this
- 32:19world, people wish that we were still here. They can make fun of
- 32:22us all they want, but they don't understand that hell is not entirely breaking
- 32:27out because we're here. The Holy Spirit God is still here walking through the
- 32:30earth. That's the only reason why total hell hasn't broken out yet. I
- 32:36asked used to pray for my sister Melody and take away all the pain that
- 32:39she has because every time she tries to go out, her legs get out
- 32:45on her and give out on her and she wants to fall police. Pray
- 32:52for her in the name of You, Amen, Amen, will pray for
- 32:54the pain, whatever pain she's going through, that she would get the understanding
- 32:59and wisdom to deal with it. And whoever is taking care of our doctors
- 33:02or whatever's going on, that God will inspire them and give them the knowledge
- 33:07and understanding and wisdom that they need to help your sister in that situation.
- 33:13In Jesus name, everyone is going to get what they deserve in the end
- 33:16because God is perfectly just. So we suffer. It's only for it's not
- 33:23permanent. That's good news. It's temporary. And those who are causing this
- 33:30suffering and pain and trying to put things on us, Everyone's going to get
- 33:35what they deserve in the end because God is a perfectly just God. Suffering
- 33:39for the Kingdom of God is temporary, and those who are afflicted from here
- 33:44on earth will be permanently, will afflict at us here on earth will be
- 33:49permanently repaid. On the other side of that, a man, So,
- 33:52I hope you getting what I'm saying now, A little says hey, saying
- 33:55God, bless God, bless you as well, my brother, my friend.
- 33:58Listen, I'm out of time, But go to second Thessalonians. Reachat
- 34:02to one of the whole chapter for yourself. There's a lot there. Just
- 34:07trying to skim the surface. It's a huge question why suffering, right,
- 34:09that's a huge suffering, A huge question about suffering. Well, you know,
- 34:15you can go to God, why God, and he'll send you to
- 34:17His scriptures and you'll get the answers there. Amen. So I bless you
- 34:22all the name of Jesus, God bless you. Got to keep you all.
- 34:24Remember this that God is good. Peace the next time.
