- 0:01Speaker 1: Jaredy, Katy, and Josh six one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I want to tell you, guys, so bad, so bad
- 0:10Speaker 2: about something I ate last night.
- 0:12Speaker 3: But I'm hesitating now that I don't want it to be.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Scooped up off store shelves and then I can never
- 0:19Speaker 2: find it again.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Okay, the show is very powerful out there in the Kennedy.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Keep your food like things. We're here, all right.
- 0:28Speaker 3: I'll tell you good. You twisted my arm to it.
- 0:31Speaker 3: You twisted my stomach.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Lemon pasta, lemon infused pasta Trader.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Joe's see, it is your duty to tell us more.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 0:45Speaker 1: It was so good and like the lemon is in
- 0:49Speaker 1: the pasta I used as the pasta.
- 0:53Speaker 4: How did they even do that?
- 0:54Speaker 3: It's science. It's incredible food science.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Nicknack came home with his this pasta, a couple of
- 1:02Speaker 2: boxes of it the other night.
- 1:03Speaker 3: I was like, Oh, I did do that. It's such
- 1:06Speaker 3: a check thing to do to buy a lemon pasta.
- 1:08Speaker 3: It's like there's something like three ingredients. I know you're
- 1:10Speaker 3: gonna love it. So we made it and it was
- 1:13Speaker 3: so good. I clean.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I took my arm on the dining room table and
- 1:18Speaker 2: I wiped everything onto the floor and made.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Love to her right there on the table.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Wow, in front of friends and family and the children.
- 1:28Speaker 3: It was so good, beautiful moment.
- 1:30Speaker 2: We put grilled chicken on top of it, and then
- 1:34Speaker 2: what I did is I actually squeezed fresh lemon over
- 1:36Speaker 2: it too, and then put the palm on there.
- 1:39Speaker 3: You guys, I can't like so simple and so damn good.
- 1:44Speaker 2: So don't go scooping it up, because I want to
- 1:46Speaker 2: go buy more boxes of it.
- 1:48Speaker 5: I want to try it.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Was so good. I'm on, I'm on just some new
- 1:54Speaker 3: food journeys right now. I'm trying new things.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I'm eating more Mediterranean style, a lot of beans. I
- 2:00Speaker 2: was just reading a story this morning about how it
- 2:03Speaker 2: was something like ninety percent of Americans say that they
- 2:05Speaker 2: would swap out their meat for beans on a more
- 2:09Speaker 2: consistent basis.
- 2:11Speaker 3: A little high number seems a little cool.
- 2:15Speaker 1: But like when you said the statement, I'm like, why
- 2:18Speaker 1: I would I have switched my meat out for beans
- 2:21Speaker 1: many times?
- 2:22Speaker 2: I just went garbonzos. Yeah, chickpeas garbanzo beans.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Well, they're the same.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Thing, chickpeas beans. They're the exact same lagoomes. The difference
- 2:35Speaker 1: comes from different language traditions, yeah, no, pick a name.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I know, but chick comes from Latin, and then the
- 2:43Speaker 1: Spanish word garbonzo is for lagoms comes from the town
- 2:48Speaker 1: garbonds expert over there. Well, it's funny because I love
- 2:54Speaker 1: chickpea slash garbonzo beans. I make it your name, marry
- 2:57Speaker 1: me chickpeas, and it is so dang good. So it's
- 3:01Speaker 1: just like I do this a lot. I swapped the
- 3:04Speaker 1: meat for beans, and there's a lot of different ways
- 3:06Speaker 1: you can go with it. But chickpeas or.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Garbonzo beans, stop it. They're the one that you.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Can swap the most because they've got like that real
- 3:15Speaker 1: meaty kind of exactly, and that's what you can do
- 3:19Speaker 1: with it. But also the flavor is so mild. It's
- 3:23Speaker 1: a white you know, it's the white colored beans. It's
- 3:26Speaker 1: a lot more mild than like your black bean or
- 3:28Speaker 1: your pinto beans, right, and it's a little more sensitive
- 3:32Speaker 1: on your tomb, more sensitive on your tim.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Everybody, what you asked, So I didn't ask anything.
- 3:38Speaker 5: You did.
- 3:38Speaker 2: All I said was I bought garbonzo beans and you
- 3:42Speaker 2: go chickpeas.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't ask you anything.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Again, and ask you nothing about nothing from the Italian
- 3:48Speaker 1: island of garbons. That's really where they're from. And they
- 3:55Speaker 1: put they put the O at the end of garbonzo
- 3:57Speaker 1: just because that's what Italians say at the end of
- 3:59Speaker 1: the words.
- 3:59Speaker 3: So you know they're speaking Italian eats a garbanzos. Now
- 4:07Speaker 3: you know.
- 4:10Speaker 1: The rainbow is going across the sky. The more you know,
- 4:16Speaker 1: you gotta learn today.
- 4:18Speaker 3: I don't want to. The only thing I want is
- 4:21Speaker 3: us to settle there needs. This needs to be put
- 4:23Speaker 3: through Congress or something. Let's settle on a name. Okay,
- 4:27Speaker 3: garbonzo or chickpeas.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Let's just pick one, for God's sakes, because it's too
- 4:31Speaker 2: confusing for we.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Could combine them and call them chick bonzos. Hi, vote
- 4:36Speaker 1: for that one, chick bonzo.
- 4:40Speaker 5: It's not bad.
- 4:41Speaker 2: The best part about this, this is not what we're
- 4:43Speaker 2: going to talk about it all at all.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I was just gonna briefly mention my pasta.
- 4:47Speaker 4: And here we are with the chickaguar bonzos, the bonzo pizzos,
- 4:53Speaker 4: chick bonzos, the chicka bonzoscle Mo.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Mama, comet it. We need some more chicka garbanzos. Whatever
- 5:04Speaker 3: this is dumb, We'll do better here in a few minutes.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Okay, do better JKJ before we got off on beans.
- 5:11Speaker 2: For some reason, I don't watch a lot of TV.
- 5:15Speaker 2: It's just I just do other.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Things and I'm kind of busy.
- 5:17Speaker 2: But I actually was able to kick on a Netflix
- 5:20Speaker 2: series yesterday while I was at the gym. Okay, And
- 5:23Speaker 2: I think it might turn into a future topic on
- 5:26Speaker 2: this morning show because I think everybody has horrible neighbors
- 5:31Speaker 2: and the name of this, uh, this program on Netflix
- 5:34Speaker 2: I think was called like bad Neighbors, Worst Neighbor Ever, that's.
- 5:38Speaker 5: What it is.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Worst neighbor ever Seen. Yeah, it was trending.
- 5:40Speaker 2: It was like the fifth most watched thing on Netflix
- 5:43Speaker 2: right now. And I watched pretty much all of episode one,
- 5:48Speaker 2: where a neighbor goes and shoots another neighbor in the face.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:52Speaker 1: No, it gets intense with that show, and I was like,
- 5:54Speaker 1: whoa nuts.
- 5:55Speaker 3: I can't stop watching it.
- 5:58Speaker 2: And I think we probably all have a story about
- 6:01Speaker 2: a horrible, horrible neighbor.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, we.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Might want to make that a show topic at some point.
- 6:07Speaker 2: But I'll tell you, I'll give you a Netflix recommendation.
- 6:09Speaker 2: I'm only through episode one, but that is a pretty
- 6:12Speaker 2: solid show to watch. You dig it just because it's
- 6:14Speaker 2: so shocking, and it's one of those ones where you
- 6:17Speaker 2: watch it and you're like, thank God, my life is
- 6:19Speaker 2: fairly normal, and thank god I live around people that
- 6:22Speaker 2: are pretty rad.
- 6:23Speaker 1: See a little more grateful for your situation.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Yeah, shows, because there's some real psychos out there. Absolutely,
- 6:32Speaker 3: you don't get to choose your neighbors.
- 6:33Speaker 2: You know, when you're moving to a neighborhood, you never
- 6:35Speaker 2: know what you're gonna get. Some people are monsters.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 6:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Our neighbors almost ran my mom down with a car
- 6:42Speaker 2: once when I was growing up.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I'm like, my mouth is still agate because of it. Like,
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm just like, what what did your mom do?
- 6:52Speaker 2: Coming anyway, be thinking about that, guys that my pop
- 6:57Speaker 2: up is a future show topic here with JK. All Right,
- 7:00Speaker 2: we're gonna play a quick song, a little home wrecker
- 7:02Speaker 2: action from Somber about three minutes long. We're gonna come
- 7:05Speaker 2: back and talk about the monster in Josh's life.
- 7:08Speaker 3: His girlfriend. Oh, we know, we love her, Princess Pilot.
- 7:12Speaker 3: There's a dilemma going on.
- 7:15Speaker 2: She's kind of sneaky. She's a little sneaky. What's going
- 7:18Speaker 2: on with Pilot girl? Well, we'll talk about it in
- 7:21Speaker 2: about three minutes here at Denver's Mixed one hundred with Jeremy,
- 7:25Speaker 2: Katie and Josh. About every Tuesday and Thursday, we like
- 7:28Speaker 2: to do a little show wants to Know dilemma. Generally
- 7:31Speaker 2: it is from our listeners sending in messages. But this
- 7:34Speaker 2: week Josh is like, I got something to talk about.
- 7:37Speaker 3: So what's going on in your life?
- 7:38Speaker 5: Buddy? Well, I'm just confused. I'm really really confused because
- 7:41Speaker 5: I have been taught throughout the different relationships I've been in.
- 7:45Speaker 5: You know, communication is key. That's what every girlfriend always says.
- 7:48Speaker 5: Communication is key. Be open and honest, always tell each
- 7:51Speaker 5: other everything. And the other day I was with Princess Pilot,
- 7:56Speaker 5: my girlfriend, and we were just talking about something and
- 7:59Speaker 5: something came up on my phone and I was like, hey,
- 8:01Speaker 5: like I was doing something. I was like, I need
- 8:03Speaker 5: you to read what popped up, and so she goes okay,
- 8:06Speaker 5: and then she looks at me. She's like, oh, I
- 8:08Speaker 5: I don't have your your password, and I go, oh
- 8:10Speaker 5: blah blah blah blah blah. I gave her my password.
- 8:13Speaker 5: It's actually zero zero zero zero, so I just give
- 8:16Speaker 5: it to her. I didn't think anything of it. And
- 8:19Speaker 5: then we're talking, and we were around dinner and I
- 8:21Speaker 5: was like, well, hey, like, do you think it's kind
- 8:23Speaker 5: of important that we maybe give each other passwords just
- 8:26Speaker 5: in case, like, you know, I need your phone or
- 8:28Speaker 5: anything like that. And she flat out was like, uh no,
- 8:33Speaker 5: I don't really think like boyfriends and girlfriends should do that.
- 8:35Speaker 5: And I was like, this was direct. Twenty minutes after
- 8:39Speaker 5: I just flippantly gave her mind. I was like, that's
- 8:41Speaker 5: it's never been a big deal to me. You know,
- 8:43Speaker 5: I don't care. I didn't think twice about it. Yeah
- 8:46Speaker 5: and yeah, no, no, So I give it to her,
- 8:49Speaker 5: and then I'm like kind of bringing that up at
- 8:51Speaker 5: dinner to be like, hey, can this be reciprocated, you
- 8:55Speaker 5: know a little bit, because I was like, well, hey,
- 8:56Speaker 5: like and look again, I trust her with everything I have.
- 8:59Speaker 5: This is not a thing of me being like, you know,
- 9:02Speaker 5: I'm going there's some shady stuff going on. No, and
- 9:05Speaker 5: I'm not. I was never thinking about that. But that
- 9:07Speaker 5: being said, I was just like there are moments of
- 9:09Speaker 5: like even in the car, if she's driving and we
- 9:11Speaker 5: want to change a song really quick, like give me
- 9:13Speaker 5: the pass codeer, you know. So it's just little things
- 9:15Speaker 5: like that, and I'm just taken aback by the way
- 9:19Speaker 5: that she was like no so quickly, okay, Jared. It
- 9:26Speaker 5: almost felt like that, It almost felt like a no, like,
- 9:29Speaker 5: uh so.
- 9:30Speaker 3: She still has your password to your phone so she
- 9:32Speaker 3: can get in.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Haven't changed it, yause you know, if you go in
- 9:35Speaker 2: now and change it and she picks it up and
- 9:39Speaker 2: like needs to hop on it or something again, She's like,
- 9:41Speaker 2: why did you change it?
- 9:43Speaker 5: I'm sad with me. Yeah, And I'm the shady one
- 9:46Speaker 5: all of a sudden if I were you, and it
- 9:48Speaker 5: totally would and anoint I don't want to, you know,
- 9:52Speaker 5: be the troublemaker in that aspect. But that being said,
- 9:54Speaker 5: like I don't I don't know where to go from
- 9:58Speaker 5: here because I don't want to ask again because then
- 10:00Speaker 5: I just seem crazy. I'm like the crazy person of
- 10:02Speaker 5: like give me you passwords?
- 10:04Speaker 3: Thinking like what is she hiding?
- 10:06Speaker 5: Then? Right? I don't Okay. But the other thing is,
- 10:10Speaker 5: I've never ever had any reason to think of anything shade.
- 10:15Speaker 1: But I don't think it's I think it's a boundary
- 10:18Speaker 1: for her.
- 10:18Speaker 5: I think it is, and I think she's been burned
- 10:21Speaker 5: before by it.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I think she's like unless we're engaged, ready to be merry,
- 10:25Speaker 1: really committing to this thing, Like I don't know if
- 10:28Speaker 1: I want to take that step yet, So I respect that, yes.
- 10:31Speaker 5: And normally i'd be on board with that because I've
- 10:33Speaker 5: I've never shared a password with any of my exes before.
- 10:36Speaker 5: But that being said, uh, I gave it to her
- 10:39Speaker 5: so easily, so I was like, whoa A. First of all,
- 10:41Speaker 5: I'm in love, and then second of all, I was
- 10:43Speaker 5: also like, yeah, no, one time is enough. But no,
- 10:47Speaker 5: so I basically said it, and then I was like, okay,
- 10:50Speaker 5: why wasn't that reciprocating it? It bothered me a little bit.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I was like, well, no, no, I want to what
- 10:56Speaker 2: do you I'm trying to think of, like, well, we're
- 10:58Speaker 2: going to ask our listeners here?
- 11:00Speaker 5: Do I keep asking or do I just let it go?
- 11:03Speaker 5: I don't know what to do here. I don't know
- 11:04Speaker 5: how to I don't know the protocol here. I don't
- 11:07Speaker 5: know if I should be annoying and be like hey,
- 11:09Speaker 5: you know, or bring up a bigger conversation why don't
- 11:11Speaker 5: you feel comfortable giving it to me?
- 11:12Speaker 2: Or look over her shoulder and like you, ah, I
- 11:15Speaker 2: know what it is.
- 11:18Speaker 3: It's a Jeremy answer.
- 11:20Speaker 5: That's the other thing. She's a privacy screen. Should I
- 11:22Speaker 5: be worried about that too?
- 11:23Speaker 3: Oh, I just got one of those. I love it.
- 11:26Speaker 3: I have idea those even exists.
- 11:28Speaker 5: I've heard really good things about them, and I yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 5: So I don't know, it's just it doesn't I'm not
- 11:33Speaker 5: worried about her. I'm just a little intrigued as to
- 11:36Speaker 5: why she was like, no, absolutely not, No, I don't
- 11:38Speaker 5: like it. So I don't know. I just feel like,
- 11:40Speaker 5: should I keep the conversation going or should I just
- 11:43Speaker 5: let it go and ask if we get engaged?
- 11:45Speaker 2: Full lines are open three oh three six nine one
- 11:48Speaker 2: one mix three oh three six nine one.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Sixteen forty nine. I think I'm just a little bit
- 11:55Speaker 3: more of a realist on this. I really feel like
- 11:57Speaker 3: she might be might be hyping.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Something you've met. You think she's that time, I don't.
- 12:03Speaker 5: I don't think she's hiding anything.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Well, I've also heard some backstories we haven't talked about
- 12:08Speaker 2: on the air, so.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Those are off the air for a reason.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I'm trying to tiptoe around there without getting you in trouble.
- 12:19Speaker 5: Please do please actually tiptoe so far away?
- 12:22Speaker 2: Do you think there's any nights where she maybe reaches
- 12:26Speaker 2: out to an X or something or.
- 12:29Speaker 5: I hope not. I really really hope that happened, and
- 12:32Speaker 5: I really I will always trust someone and tell reason.
- 12:36Speaker 3: That's a good lie always. Okay, hi'm indy. Hi, that's
- 12:42Speaker 3: it going well, we're super dupes.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Thanks for calling in. What should Josh do about this
- 12:47Speaker 2: dilemma with his girlfriend?
- 12:49Speaker 1: I think she should let it go because I think
- 12:52Speaker 1: communication has expressing your feelings and not taking into other
- 12:58Speaker 1: people's poms.
- 13:00Speaker 5: Okay, I like that, but it's almost like when someone
- 13:03Speaker 5: says don't touch the hot stove, you automatically wonder why
- 13:06Speaker 5: you can't touch it, and I'm like, you know, it's
- 13:09Speaker 5: it's just the maybe, the flippant way. It was like, no,
- 13:12Speaker 5: like I don't feel the need to give it to you,
- 13:13Speaker 5: and I do, like I really do. I do trust
- 13:16Speaker 5: her with everything that I have, So it's not like
- 13:19Speaker 5: I'm worried about her going off and doing anything wrong.
- 13:21Speaker 5: But it is odd how quickly she dismissed it. Mindy,
- 13:24Speaker 5: Does that make sense?
- 13:26Speaker 6: Absolutely? And that's the communication part where you ask her, Hey.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Why don't you want to give me.
- 13:34Speaker 7: Your passwords?
- 13:35Speaker 2: When I give you mind ye, ask her and then
- 13:36Speaker 2: just start crying and make it weird, really start bawling,
- 13:40Speaker 2: and it's like the whole I can't breathe.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Yeah, do one of those.
- 13:43Speaker 5: Okay, okay, well and we'll let you know how it goes.
- 13:46Speaker 3: So questions, either let it go or ask a bunch
- 13:48Speaker 3: of questions, right, mindy, let it go and ask the
- 13:52Speaker 3: question both double whammy. Okay, all right, mindy, thank you,
- 13:56Speaker 3: so you mindy.
- 13:57Speaker 5: I don't know can you do both of these? I
- 13:59Speaker 5: don't know how to you that. Now.
- 14:01Speaker 3: I liked her approach and asked some questions. Yeah, let's
- 14:07Speaker 3: make it weird, like sit her.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Down, don't make her feel uncomfortable about it.
- 14:13Speaker 5: Over her.
- 14:13Speaker 3: That's the thing again, Okay.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I think that she has that boundary because if she's
- 14:19Speaker 1: been burned before, which totally and you don't know that.
- 14:22Speaker 3: She knows Josh stuff she can give in his phone
- 14:24Speaker 3: whenever she won.
- 14:25Speaker 1: And it was a situation where it wasn't like she's
- 14:28Speaker 1: like I need this, no I asked, Yeah, I asked her.
- 14:34Speaker 1: It's a different situation. And how she got that. You know,
- 14:37Speaker 1: access and I'm asking for that. Access is fine.
- 14:40Speaker 3: But put your phone in a different room.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Put your phone in a different room and while you
- 14:44Speaker 2: guys are sitting on the couch watching a movie, like, oh,
- 14:46Speaker 2: I got to look something up really quick. Then grab
- 14:48Speaker 2: her phone and be like, hey, what's your password? I
- 14:50Speaker 2: need to get in and look at something.
- 14:52Speaker 5: Totally round about like that. And what if she says no, there,
- 14:57Speaker 5: that's when the crying started, I know exactly.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Then that's a totally there's a situation that's totally different.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Here's Meg and Will is up after Meg.
- 15:04Speaker 6: Hi, Meg, Hey guys.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Well we're fine, thank you. Josh is miserable.
- 15:12Speaker 6: So, first of all, if this has made it to
- 15:14Speaker 6: the air, then it is time to talk with her.
- 15:17Speaker 6: If this is potentially somebody who want to spend the
- 15:19Speaker 6: rest of your life with, have the conversation. What happens
- 15:22Speaker 6: when you actually have really.
- 15:23Speaker 7: Big things you need to talk about?
- 15:25Speaker 5: Right? Yeah?
- 15:27Speaker 1: Question?
- 15:28Speaker 6: Is she a mom? And how old is she?
- 15:31Speaker 5: Uh? Not yet not a mother? And she is a
- 15:35Speaker 5: little I'm thirty one, she's a little bit older than me.
- 15:38Speaker 7: Okay.
- 15:38Speaker 6: The reason I bring that up is because sometimes I'm
- 15:40Speaker 6: a mom. I've got three kids. Sometimes and the work
- 15:44Speaker 6: I do my life has exposed to everybody. Sometimes I
- 15:47Speaker 6: literally just want to have a little something to myself
- 15:51Speaker 6: for no other reason except that I can.
- 15:54Speaker 3: That's a good point.
- 15:55Speaker 6: That's a good that's it right. And now that I
- 15:57Speaker 6: actually have my kids, sometimes they want to steal my
- 16:00Speaker 6: phone and change the song while I'm rocking out my
- 16:04Speaker 6: you know, my bad self in my eighties music, and
- 16:06Speaker 6: I'm like, no, you don't know the password, but but
- 16:10Speaker 6: there is. And with my boyfriend, you know, if he asked,
- 16:15Speaker 6: I would give it to him. But I would also
- 16:17Speaker 6: say the same thing, like I'm not why, like why
- 16:22Speaker 6: do you need it? I'm not hiding anything, ask me anything.
- 16:25Speaker 3: But you would still give it to him. You would
- 16:26Speaker 3: still give it to him.
- 16:27Speaker 6: Yes, I I.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Are you a big she because I would.
- 16:34Speaker 5: I guess that's a really good point.
- 16:37Speaker 7: Meg.
- 16:38Speaker 5: I really like that you said for no other reason
- 16:39Speaker 5: than the fact that you want something for yourself. I've
- 16:42Speaker 5: never heard anybody say that, and You're right, I think,
- 16:44Speaker 5: especially even with our job here, we open up our
- 16:47Speaker 5: lives so much, it is nice to have something private
- 16:51Speaker 5: and something that is just yours. And I've not had
- 16:54Speaker 5: anybody say that to me yet. And I really like
- 16:57Speaker 5: that point.
- 16:58Speaker 6: Well, And if I could take it one step further,
- 17:00Speaker 6: I don't share my location with anybody except my sister
- 17:05Speaker 6: I have. I only share it with my boyfriend temporarily
- 17:09Speaker 6: if I'm going somewhere that I'd be unsafe or something,
- 17:12Speaker 6: But he shares his all the time with me. Again,
- 17:16Speaker 6: it's not because I have anything to hide, but it
- 17:18Speaker 6: is because I live such a full life, giving so
- 17:22Speaker 6: much to other people that I just want to, I
- 17:25Speaker 6: mean not really really get lost, but.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Right you don't want to. What's your advice for Josh
- 17:31Speaker 3: than Meg? What should he do?
- 17:33Speaker 6: Absolutely?
- 17:34Speaker 7: Ask her?
- 17:35Speaker 6: Okay me, really, why lose more sleep over it? And
- 17:38Speaker 6: you'll walk away with data points If she says nope,
- 17:43Speaker 6: I really I don't want to talk about it. I
- 17:45Speaker 6: really don't want to share it, you know, just have
- 17:49Speaker 6: the conversation.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Okay, Meg, we appreciate your call. You're very, very wise
- 17:53Speaker 3: in the world of phones. Thank you, Meg, Or you're
- 17:56Speaker 3: going to walk away with even more questions like what
- 17:59Speaker 3: is she hiding?
- 18:00Speaker 5: That really is up in the air?
- 18:02Speaker 2: Is because this is so weird that you were so
- 18:04Speaker 2: open and you're like, fine, get into my phone and
- 18:06Speaker 2: then you ask her and it was no.
- 18:08Speaker 3: No, it's weird.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Going back to what Meg said, really quick, I now
- 18:12Speaker 1: I have a whole new whoa wait a minute, because
- 18:15Speaker 1: she's new to this job, you having having a boyfriend
- 18:19Speaker 1: who has a job like this, and we've already talked
- 18:21Speaker 1: about Princess Pilot in a way that I'm.
- 18:24Speaker 5: Sure she's not comfortable about me.
- 18:26Speaker 1: So it's like that gives us permission again. That gives
- 18:29Speaker 1: you permission again to have a little bit more insight
- 18:31Speaker 1: to her life, and maybe she's not willing.
- 18:32Speaker 3: To give that to you.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I think it gives you permission to change your phone
- 18:36Speaker 2: code now because you're like, I need something private because
- 18:39Speaker 2: my life is on the air. So now you don't
- 18:41Speaker 2: get my phone code because that's my privacy.
- 18:43Speaker 3: You know, why does it work for him enough for her?
- 18:48Speaker 3: So Josh can't have privacy.
- 18:50Speaker 1: You can't give someone a sweater and then be like,
- 18:52Speaker 1: oh wan my sweater back because you're giving me because it's.
- 18:55Speaker 3: One hundred degrees outside, you don't need a sweater right now.
- 18:57Speaker 3: True if it's hot her.
- 19:00Speaker 1: It was an analogy, Okay.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I just don't understand why it's not okay for Josh
- 19:05Speaker 2: to have his privacy but it's okay for her to
- 19:07Speaker 2: have her privacy.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Well, I think it's the same thing too, Like I
- 19:09Speaker 5: share my location with her and she shares hers. But
- 19:12Speaker 5: that being said, like I think, as the boyfriend, it
- 19:16Speaker 5: is more important to show her and encourage and encourage
- 19:20Speaker 5: her that you are a respectable person, you know, and
- 19:25Speaker 5: and show that because this day and age, we aren't
- 19:27Speaker 5: a lot of people aren't.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Let's quickly get to will We're run out of time.
- 19:30Speaker 7: Hi, Willie, how's it going?
- 19:33Speaker 3: Hey, we're good, buddy. What are your thoughts for Josh?
- 19:36Speaker 7: I guess I'm from a different planet because I mean,
- 19:39Speaker 7: to me, what's on a phone? Social media, text messages.
- 19:43Speaker 7: So in a relationship with somebody, then then why is
- 19:47Speaker 7: that even a big deal? Like I was telling them earlier,
- 19:50Speaker 7: I my girlfriend, now that I have now that I
- 19:52Speaker 7: actually trust. We don't even really have a password on
- 19:55Speaker 7: my phone, on our phones, like it's just a it's
- 19:58Speaker 7: just a thing, you know, grab I have your phone.
- 20:01Speaker 7: I'm using your phone. Yeah, whatever, I have your I
- 20:03Speaker 7: grabbed your phone on actually okay whatever. So to me,
- 20:06Speaker 7: and in past troubled relationships, that's always been the thing
- 20:11Speaker 7: that was like, oh it was it was the text message,
- 20:14Speaker 7: it was this, So to me, it's it's it's damaging
- 20:17Speaker 7: but like I said, it's just what we've established is
- 20:21Speaker 7: that Josh is clearly more open and and available for
- 20:26Speaker 7: this relationship than she is. I agree, And you can't
- 20:29Speaker 7: have a double standard, and you can't bring your past
- 20:31Speaker 7: relationships into your new relationships. Like she's in her thirties,
- 20:35Speaker 7: should not be an issue.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Ye wow, you we're on the same page, man, Josh.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Josh is open, she is not. I don't think that
- 20:46Speaker 3: that's what that says.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Again, I think she has strong boundaries and it's okay
- 20:50Speaker 1: for you to approach her about that. But it's not
- 20:52Speaker 1: a bad thing that she doesn't want to just give
- 20:54Speaker 1: her password.
- 20:55Speaker 7: I just I don't think double thing. So, like I said,
- 20:58Speaker 7: I feel like when she asked him for his password
- 21:01Speaker 7: that day, then it wasn't for whatever she was doing.
- 21:03Speaker 7: It was to see if she he would give her
- 21:05Speaker 7: bing bingo.
- 21:06Speaker 2: And then she's like, well, now I got it and
- 21:09Speaker 2: I can't change it. Now he can't change it because
- 21:11Speaker 2: it'll be weird. I'll ask him why and ruin his life.
- 21:15Speaker 3: I don't think that's well said. Question.
- 21:18Speaker 5: That was that was heavy. That was heavy.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Will was spot on though, Like he's living it right there, buddy,
- 21:22Speaker 2: You gotta listen to Will.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Wouldn't it be funny we had somebody text in and
- 21:26Speaker 1: wouldn't it be funny if she changed her password to
- 21:28Speaker 1: yours and she's just waiting for you to figure that out.
- 21:32Speaker 5: Try it, just try and see.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Maybe that's what she did.
- 21:35Speaker 5: I always use face idea. Maybe what's my password?
- 21:40Speaker 3: I know why she's not any though, because I have
- 21:43Speaker 3: been messaging her.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Shut That means it's time for a little Micks one
- 21:53Speaker 2: hundred Sports report. A new world record was set this
- 21:59Speaker 2: past Saturday for skydiving around the world. Thirty one thousand
- 22:05Speaker 2: and seventy five people coordinated a skydive.
- 22:12Speaker 3: In forty three different countries on a single day. How
- 22:14Speaker 3: about that.
- 22:15Speaker 2: That's a lot of people jumping out an airplane the
- 22:17Speaker 2: exact same time.
- 22:20Speaker 5: I don't know if you could coordinate that.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I don't think it was the exact same time, but
- 22:23Speaker 2: I guess throughout the day.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Okay, I'm skimming here.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Hmmm.
- 22:30Speaker 2: I don't think it was at the same time. That
- 22:31Speaker 2: would have been quite the seat. That's a lot of
- 22:34Speaker 2: that's a lot of planes and stuff open in the air.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I don't know anyway. It was all initiated and organized
- 22:40Speaker 2: by the US Parachute Association very official drifting through life.
- 22:47Speaker 3: To drift organization.
- 22:50Speaker 5: Ups and downs, right.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Dead jokes anyway.
- 22:56Speaker 2: For that one, it surpassed the previous record of thirty
- 23:02Speaker 2: thousand something.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Anyway, that's kind of fun.
- 23:05Speaker 2: It's something I would never do, though, No, no, no,
- 23:07Speaker 2: I feel like I would panic up in the air
- 23:09Speaker 2: and forget to pull the shoot I really do.
- 23:11Speaker 5: Luckily you don't have to. You have an instructor strapped
- 23:13Speaker 5: right to you.
- 23:14Speaker 3: I'm not doing that. That's far too kinky for me.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Rock shot, Stop pulling bat, don't pull me there.
- 23:23Speaker 2: It's wait a minute now, I'm interested that bad, not
- 23:28Speaker 2: that bad? Are you back to back or front to.
- 23:30Speaker 5: Front whatever you want? Honestly?
- 23:33Speaker 3: How many people are to other together?
- 23:35Speaker 5: Up to four? Oh? All right?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Okay?
- 23:41Speaker 3: Overshre uh.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Tom Brady has been flirting with the idea of doing
- 23:45Speaker 2: a match for the WWE.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Have you guys been hearing these rumors.
- 23:49Speaker 5: It's been really weird. It is the way he's promoting it, right.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I guess he slapped Logan Paul the other day. He
- 23:55Speaker 2: was at the World Cup and he was flipping Logan
- 23:58Speaker 2: Paul off. They've been taken for bull shots at each other.
- 24:01Speaker 2: So the media is saying, well, I guess they're setting
- 24:05Speaker 2: it up for some sort of WWE match with Tom Brady.
- 24:09Speaker 5: Logan's gotten huge into that because he did boxing for
- 24:12Speaker 5: a little bit and kind of found out that wasn't
- 24:14Speaker 5: for him and Tom the way that he's promoting this,
- 24:17Speaker 5: did you see did you see the actual slap which
- 24:19Speaker 5: I did.
- 24:19Speaker 3: It's so fake and he was like more of a
- 24:22Speaker 3: shoulder slap.
- 24:23Speaker 5: It really was.
- 24:23Speaker 3: He was going for his face and got his shoulder.
- 24:25Speaker 5: It was dumb. It didn't look good. Tom is not
- 24:27Speaker 5: that type of WWE guy. I just can't see him
- 24:31Speaker 5: doing Ittaly not. Yeah. I mean, he'll get a lot
- 24:34Speaker 5: of money from it.
- 24:34Speaker 2: So I guess this dude from Barstool Sports is saying,
- 24:37Speaker 2: this is just sad. What is happening to Tom Brady
- 24:41Speaker 2: post retirement. It's one of the greatest downfalls of an icon,
- 24:45Speaker 2: he said, and he said his legacy is being lamified.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Everything about him is cringey right now.
- 24:52Speaker 3: He's kind I kind of get there.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Yeah, John Cena route where it was like John Cena
- 24:56Speaker 1: got out of wrestling and then you just saw him
- 24:57Speaker 1: attached to everything, so it lessened.
- 25:00Speaker 5: I think he doesn't know what he wants to do
- 25:02Speaker 5: in life anymore. I mean, without football, tom Brady's lost.
- 25:05Speaker 5: And he's tried the broadcasting, which is fine, but this.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Stuff is in the roast and everything he's been a
- 25:11Speaker 2: part of where he's cussing and talking dirty.
- 25:13Speaker 3: It's like it's just not a good look. No, you
- 25:14Speaker 3: should do.
- 25:15Speaker 1: He should be a yogi. He should go be one
- 25:17Speaker 1: of those like yoga masters. I could see Tom Brady
- 25:21Speaker 1: as one of those teaching people yoga, teaching them to
- 25:25Speaker 1: you know, rein in their inner power. Like see Tom
- 25:29Speaker 1: Brady doing something like that.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Yeah, then he can get his own brand of yoga
- 25:33Speaker 2: mats and sell them and all that stuff.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Yes, you know he'd monetize it.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Calimbroga Broga brogd.
- 25:42Speaker 7: Of like it.
- 25:42Speaker 5: I kind of like it.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Yeah, there you go, tom Brady.
- 25:47Speaker 5: You can send the check to Katie.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Well don puzzling that house. That's really impressive.
- 25:53Speaker 5: What else is going on, Josh well A massive pastime
- 25:55Speaker 5: is kind of making a comeback ever since around COVID
- 25:58Speaker 5: nineteen now. I used to collect top sports cards, like
- 26:01Speaker 5: the football, the baseball cards, those ones, and it was
- 26:03Speaker 5: kind of a thing of the nineties. A lot of
- 26:04Speaker 5: Pokemon cards were collectibles then, and I would say around
- 26:08Speaker 5: the mid to late twenty tens, people kind of stopped
- 26:10Speaker 5: doing that. We went a lot more digital, but COVID
- 26:12Speaker 5: nineteen forced everybody to stay home and collecting cards kind
- 26:16Speaker 5: of became cool again, if you will. And with that,
- 26:18Speaker 5: the inflation of how much those cards are worth is
- 26:21Speaker 5: astronomical now. Cards that were worth like one thousand bucks
- 26:24Speaker 5: and twenty twenty by the time twenty twenty one rolled around,
- 26:27Speaker 5: they were worth ten thousand and fifteen thousand dollars. So
- 26:30Speaker 5: it really got a lot of these young kiddos into
- 26:32Speaker 5: collecting cards again, which I love because I think collecting
- 26:35Speaker 5: cards as a young boy was one of my favorite
- 26:37Speaker 5: things to do. You would trade them and do all
- 26:39Speaker 5: the fun.
- 26:39Speaker 2: During COVID, people were trading those virus cards like you could.
- 26:42Speaker 2: You could collect all the viruses.
- 26:43Speaker 5: They were collect them all. I got influenza Pokemon as well.
- 26:48Speaker 7: Well.
- 26:48Speaker 5: A little kid, hold on, there's a whole partner.
- 26:51Speaker 1: We'll trade you for appatitis, said, no one.
- 26:55Speaker 5: Ever keep the train on the tracks here, okay, Well,
- 26:57Speaker 5: looking for HPV for a while.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Okay, I'll trade you for my measles card.
- 27:03Speaker 5: We have the rebella you have that one?
- 27:07Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, well a young yeah, you're catching on telling
- 27:11Speaker 2: me to stop, and then you catch on.
- 27:12Speaker 3: You should stop.
- 27:13Speaker 5: You should absolutely stop.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Continued Josh.
- 27:18Speaker 5: All right, Josh, a young boy.
- 27:19Speaker 3: It's very important stuff here.
- 27:21Speaker 5: Yes, went to the Fanatics fest, uh the other day
- 27:24Speaker 5: and he was only eight years old and was given
- 27:26Speaker 5: seventy five cents for a vending machine to try to
- 27:29Speaker 5: get a card. And this kid pulled out a one
- 27:32Speaker 5: of one show Hey, Otani autographed gold Refractor card. It's
- 27:37Speaker 5: already worth eight to ten thousand dollars. The thing about
- 27:40Speaker 5: this that's really neat that I like is that Otani's
- 27:43Speaker 5: card a couple of years ago or no, sorry, one
- 27:46Speaker 5: month ago, sold for three million dollars. This is why
- 27:50Speaker 5: you should get your kids into this, because you don't
- 27:52Speaker 5: know how much those cards are gonna be worth.
- 27:54Speaker 3: And the pack of cards is like two bucks exactly
- 27:56Speaker 3: these number.
- 27:57Speaker 5: I think we keep doing this, Jerry should keep doing
- 28:00Speaker 5: Pokemon thing.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Right, No, no, no, no, because I want him to
- 28:03Speaker 3: have a girlfriend.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Hey, Josh has been trying to text with his girlfriend
- 28:07Speaker 2: and she's not replying, leaving him on red.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Please call me back, please, text me mad at you.
- 28:15Speaker 3: She's so mad at you she might be you're being trouble.
- 28:24Speaker 2: You know me, I've been doing this gig for twenty
- 28:26Speaker 2: two years. You know how many people I've pissed off
- 28:29Speaker 2: in my family.
- 28:29Speaker 5: And people close to me all love them.
- 28:32Speaker 2: If your family, that's fine, it was saying, though, that's
- 28:36Speaker 2: all part of the gig for a long time. She
- 28:38Speaker 2: knows what she got lost friends? Really, I have literally
- 28:41Speaker 2: lost friends because of this job.
- 28:43Speaker 5: Yeah. Same, you know.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Can I tell you a funny story real quick, just
- 28:46Speaker 1: because I when I did radio over on the Western Slope,
- 28:50Speaker 1: my boyfriend at the time, we had a nickname for
- 28:54Speaker 1: him was mister fix It. Right. We were talking about
- 28:56Speaker 1: birthing stories. How you know, when you were born, there's
- 28:59Speaker 1: always story attached to it that everybody talks about, right,
- 29:02Speaker 1: And for him, it was that the person who performed
- 29:06Speaker 1: his circumcision, that was his very circumcision ever. Yes, my
- 29:11Speaker 1: my ex boyfriend, he was the first circumcision doctor ever performed.
- 29:17Speaker 5: And so I was just telling that story on the air.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Okay, you're talking about how like when his mom talks
- 29:22Speaker 1: about him being born, that's what she says, is the doctor.
- 29:25Speaker 1: It was his first circumcision, so be careful, it's right.
- 29:30Speaker 3: So I tell that story on the air.
- 29:32Speaker 1: His boss where he works comes in, so he's like, hey,
- 29:36Speaker 1: let me about your circumcision, and he was just so
- 29:39Speaker 1: caught off guard. He was so mad at me that
- 29:41Speaker 1: I shared that bit of information about him. And I
- 29:44Speaker 1: was just like, but that's my job, you know, like
- 29:46Speaker 1: this was and he was mad.
- 29:49Speaker 3: He's mad. So it definitely starts some stuff.
- 29:51Speaker 5: It happens.
- 29:52Speaker 3: You'll find you'll scoop somebody else up.
- 29:57Speaker 1: We like Princess Pilot.
- 29:59Speaker 5: She brings you.
- 30:00Speaker 3: She's really nice, she's really good.
- 30:02Speaker 5: She's good.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Too bad that you pissed her off and she's gonna leave.
- 30:05Speaker 1: No.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Yeah, My most favorite story over the years is before
- 30:09Speaker 2: I had kids, and we were hanging out with couples
- 30:11Speaker 2: that didn't have kids as well.
- 30:13Speaker 3: We had a really really close set of friends makeup
- 30:18Speaker 3: names Tom and Tina.
- 30:21Speaker 2: So anyway, we were besties with Tom and Tina, and
- 30:23Speaker 2: they had been trying and trying and trying to have
- 30:26Speaker 2: a baby and they were spending you know, the thousands
- 30:28Speaker 2: of dollars and everything on in vitro and science and
- 30:32Speaker 2: pills and it was taking them years to get pregnant.
- 30:35Speaker 2: They finally got pregnant, okay, and they told us as
- 30:40Speaker 2: the first people.
- 30:42Speaker 5: But number one mistake, I didn't know that.
- 30:44Speaker 2: And I went on the air and I started complaining
- 30:47Speaker 2: about how our best friends are now gonna have a
- 30:50Speaker 2: baby and we're never gonna see him now because it's
- 30:52Speaker 2: all gonna be all about baby stuff, and all they're
- 30:55Speaker 2: gonna talk about.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Is babies, babies, babies. Well they you're kind of tongue
- 30:59Speaker 3: in cheek.
- 31:00Speaker 2: They hadn't told either one of their families yet that
- 31:03Speaker 2: they finally pulled it off.
- 31:05Speaker 5: They told and I went on the air and.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I complained about him and told all of Denver that
- 31:09Speaker 2: our friends Tom and Tina had had a they were
- 31:12Speaker 2: gonna have a baby, that they finally got pregnant, and
- 31:15Speaker 2: they were so mad at me.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Well yeah, yeah, never talked to us again, are you?
- 31:21Speaker 3: Why is that on me?
