- 0:02Speaker 1: Father's Day is on Sunday, and if you have not
- 0:04Speaker 1: gotten data Father's Day gift, that's probably fine because have
- 0:07Speaker 1: you noticed the things we get Dad for Father's Day
- 0:10Speaker 1: really just lead to Dad doing more chores around the house.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Have you noticed that while Mother's Day gifts, they're expected
- 0:17Speaker 1: to be.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Relaxing or thoughtful?
- 0:19Speaker 3: Yeah? All right.
- 0:21Speaker 1: For example, you can get Dad like a tool right,
- 0:24Speaker 1: a power drill, great, a skill saw, ecstatic?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yeah, get to cutting?
- 0:29Speaker 3: Yeah, what I mean?
- 0:30Speaker 2: You can buy Dad a work bench.
- 0:32Speaker 1: You cannot buy mom a bottle of dawn and say
- 0:35Speaker 1: now you.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Have your own dish washing station.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you're so right.
- 0:41Speaker 1: You can buy Dad a socket wrench set. You cannot
- 0:44Speaker 1: buy mom a forty eight pack of paper towels and
- 0:46Speaker 1: say I got the good ones.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, Gabe, No, actually you're onto something.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Yeah, you can buy Dad a leaf blower. You cannot
- 0:55Speaker 1: buy mom a rake and say it's the deluxe model.
- 1:00Speaker 2: You can buy Dad a toolbox.
- 1:01Speaker 1: You cannot buy mom a laundry basket and tell her
- 1:04Speaker 1: to check out all its features.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Gabe, that is real.
- 1:08Speaker 4: How come you know what?
- 1:09Speaker 3: Why do we get Dad all these things that are
- 1:13Speaker 3: just to do work around the house.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Isn't it crazy?
- 1:16Speaker 3: Because if my kids got me something to do work
- 1:19Speaker 3: around the house, like their grounded right forever?
- 1:22Speaker 1: Right, we're redoing Mother's Day tomorrow. Yeah, I got twenty
- 1:25Speaker 1: four hours.
- 1:26Speaker 3: No, you know what though, But I think part of
- 1:28Speaker 3: the thing is Dad's never tell that. If you ask
- 1:33Speaker 3: a dad what do you want for Father's Day?
- 1:35Speaker 2: I don't know. He wants a bush light in a garage.
- 1:40Speaker 2: That's probably what he wants.
- 1:42Speaker 1: It is interesting, and I will say, you know, as
- 1:44Speaker 1: a dude, there is we do like being able when
- 1:46Speaker 1: we get to use the new tools. Now, yeah, nine
- 1:49Speaker 1: times out of ten leads to something being fixed or
- 1:53Speaker 1: building something around the house if you get a tool
- 1:55Speaker 1: like that. But I was talking to Angie about this yesterday.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I thought it was just.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Very funny that these kind of gifts we get dad
- 2:02Speaker 1: a lot of times just leads to him being more
- 2:05Speaker 1: efficient doing his stuff around the house.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Okay, but I think it's one of those like what
- 2:10Speaker 3: is it? Men are from Mars, women are from Venus
- 2:13Speaker 3: like men. Let me just generalize here is if you're
- 2:17Speaker 3: the dad, you want to feel like the protector, the provider.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Some you're building something you're doing something to keep the
- 2:23Speaker 3: family safe or happy or efficient or whatever, and so yeah,
- 2:28Speaker 3: it does make sense. But let me tell you when
- 2:30Speaker 3: I was a child, I gave my mom dishwashing gloves
- 2:33Speaker 3: for Mother's Day one year, and she said, no, you
- 2:35Speaker 3: are the dishwasher. I am not the dswasher. You are
- 2:38Speaker 3: the dishwasher. Yeah, don't get mom cleaning supplies.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Ever, it's funny.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Father's Day is the only holiday where here's something to
- 2:47Speaker 1: help you work harder and more efficient, and it's somehow
- 2:50Speaker 1: considered thoughtful. Dad gifts they say, go build something. Mom's
- 2:56Speaker 1: gifts never ever say go clean something, oh cook something,
- 3:01Speaker 1: unless she really wants that new crock pot.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Well, we already did enough work making the baby inside
- 3:06Speaker 3: our body. I'm not doing any more worse.
- 3:08Speaker 1: You know what, You're right, there's not enough work around
- 3:11Speaker 1: around the house to add up to the nine months
- 3:14Speaker 1: of that nine and a half, ten months, whatever it is,
- 3:16Speaker 1: to that work.
- 3:17Speaker 2: So maybe you are right.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I got spin sweet game.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I got spin zoned on my own bits. That's usually
- 3:23Speaker 1: my my side is the thing's angie.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Happy Father's Day, celebrating life's little victories. Every morning we
- 3:34Speaker 5: practice gratitude on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:37Speaker 2: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a basket.
- 3:39Speaker 2: JOm busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Sure your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 3:45Speaker 5: two eight oh one ninety eight.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Seven kids, I also needed to win that day, Angie.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Do you happen to have a little victory today?
- 3:54Speaker 3: I do? And I have to not say exactly what
- 3:58Speaker 3: it is because it's a surprise eyes for Mikey. But
- 4:01Speaker 3: Mike's daughter, one of his daughters, sent him a gift
- 4:05Speaker 3: for Father's Day. But it was addressed to me, like
- 4:08Speaker 3: the package was adjusted to me. So I opened it yesterday,
- 4:12Speaker 3: thankfully not in front of him, and I saw that
- 4:16Speaker 3: what was inside, and I thought, what is this? And
- 4:20Speaker 3: so then I read the little note and it's for
- 4:22Speaker 3: Mikey for Father's Day. But what the gift is is
- 4:27Speaker 3: absolutely something that I can enjoy too, and I can't
- 4:30Speaker 3: wait to steal it.
- 4:31Speaker 2: So that's okay, is.
- 4:34Speaker 3: That Mikey's Father's Day gift is going to double as
- 4:38Speaker 3: a nice gift for me and I love that for me.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Well, if people text in, will you tell them what
- 4:45Speaker 2: it is?
- 4:45Speaker 4: Yes?
- 4:46Speaker 2: Okay, I like that.
- 4:47Speaker 1: If you want to know what it is, text us
- 4:48Speaker 1: at seven oh one two eight zero one, nine eighty seven,
- 4:50Speaker 1: because the second we're done talking to you, I'm gonna
- 4:52Speaker 1: obviously ask and.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Find out yes, and I will tell you.
- 4:55Speaker 1: All right, well cool, cool, My little victory is so yesterday,
- 4:59Speaker 1: my wife, Corey, it had to drop our dog off
- 5:04Speaker 1: at doggie daycare. She's never been to a doggy daycare before.
- 5:08Speaker 1: She's never really had the need to go to a
- 5:09Speaker 1: doggy daycare.
- 5:10Speaker 3: So this is first time, a rookie.
- 5:13Speaker 1: A rookie, brand new, first time doggy daycare. They have
- 5:16Speaker 1: to do like a trial run, you know, because when
- 5:19Speaker 1: the time comes from baby g to arrive, if we
- 5:21Speaker 1: got to do an emergency, what do we do with
- 5:23Speaker 1: our dog? Yeah, we have somewhere to bring her at least,
- 5:26Speaker 1: you know, until we can get her or whoever can
- 5:29Speaker 1: get her that is coming up to visit or whatever.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And when I went and picked up my.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Sweet little, sweet little beautiful Wanona doggie, she got a
- 5:40Speaker 1: glowing report card back. Yeah, they genuine They actually give
- 5:45Speaker 1: you a genuine like handwritten note and they circle all
- 5:48Speaker 1: of you know the good things are the poor things? Yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 1: that your dog does at the place that we brought
- 5:53Speaker 1: her and there was not one negative comments, right, The
- 5:57Speaker 1: only negative on there was she probably could have drank
- 5:59Speaker 1: more water. But she found a couple best friends right away.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Love this and they played together all day. We're talking,
- 6:05Speaker 1: you know, from like ten am to when I picked
- 6:08Speaker 1: her up at four.
- 6:09Speaker 6: Wow.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I love this.
- 6:12Speaker 2: I knew it the goat she really is.
- 6:14Speaker 1: She is a very very sweet dog, and she gets
- 6:16Speaker 1: along with all other dogs.
- 6:18Speaker 2: But you just you never know.
- 6:19Speaker 1: You drop Rob, you don't know what happened, you know,
- 6:22Speaker 1: and of course you go pick her up and you're like,
- 6:24Speaker 1: oh no, what did my dog do? And they were
- 6:27Speaker 1: They said she couldn't have been sweeter.
- 6:29Speaker 3: I love that. That's a similar feeling after you drop
- 6:31Speaker 3: your kid off at kindergarten.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I would assume that's exactly right.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Yeah, And we celebrate the start of summer at Happy
- 6:48Speaker 1: Harry's Infest, all right. That is really the kickoff to
- 6:51Speaker 1: summer in the FM area, really just across the entire nation.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Yes, I I'm concerned summer started on June third.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Right, that's exactly right now.
- 7:04Speaker 1: If you're one of those I go by the calendar
- 7:08Speaker 1: kind of individuals. I did want to celebrate you a
- 7:11Speaker 1: little bit today, as I have put this together as
- 7:14Speaker 1: just a little celebratory deal of the first day of
- 7:17Speaker 1: summer being on Sunday. Obviously, Angie and I will not
- 7:20Speaker 1: necessarily be here to celebrate that with you at the
- 7:22Speaker 1: time in the morning, so we're gonna do it here today.
- 7:25Speaker 1: So if you're excited for Sunday, Father's Day, the first
- 7:28Speaker 1: day of summer, I've got something for you.
- 7:37Speaker 7: If everybody head an look out, the USA.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Are way too hard on that.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Summer is obviously the longest day of the year coming
- 8:04Speaker 1: up on Sunday. Sunday, the summer solstice gives us the
- 8:08Speaker 1: most daylight any day of the year, and here in Fargo,
- 8:12Speaker 1: we're gonna get about sixteen hours of daylight, which means
- 8:16Speaker 1: you could probably mow the lawn at like nine pm
- 8:21Speaker 1: if you wanted to.
- 8:22Speaker 3: I think I need to layer up my blackout curtains.
- 8:26Speaker 1: We had to buy some of those actually for Baby
- 8:28Speaker 1: g so it would be a good test for a month.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Sunday.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Yeah, while it is summer here, it's winter down Under.
- 8:36Speaker 2: While we're firing up the grail.
- 8:37Speaker 1: People in Australia and New Zealand, they're actually celebrating the
- 8:42Speaker 1: first day of winter. Now the crazy they still get
- 8:45Speaker 1: like the same sun and all of that, but yees,
- 8:47Speaker 1: a different season.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Now, people have celebrated this for thousands of years. Ancient
- 8:53Speaker 1: cultures built monuments around the solstice at stoneheens the sunrise
- 8:58Speaker 1: a ligne's almost perfectly with the stones on the summer soulstice,
- 9:03Speaker 1: which draws thousands of visitors every single year.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I did not know that, And now that's a bucket
- 9:09Speaker 3: list item for me.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Yeah, that's cool.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I'm sure there's probably like a video you could see
- 9:13Speaker 1: on YouTube, but to see it in person would be
- 9:15Speaker 1: pretty fun.
- 9:16Speaker 2: The Earth is actually farther from the Sun. Did you
- 9:19Speaker 2: know this? I did not.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Summer isn't caused by being closer to the Sun. In fact,
- 9:24Speaker 1: Earth is slightly farther away during northern hemispheres summer. It's
- 9:29Speaker 1: all about the planet's tilt, not the distance, which is
- 9:33Speaker 1: kind of interesting.
- 9:33Speaker 2: And then I have one more for you here.
- 9:35Speaker 1: And we take a lot of pride in not ending
- 9:38Speaker 1: on a bad note here on Big ninety eight points,
- 9:39Speaker 1: so we don't start on a bad note or end
- 9:41Speaker 1: on a bad note here on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 9:44Speaker 1: But on great we're gonna break that rule today on Monday,
- 9:50Speaker 1: the days start getting shorter immediately. All right, this might
- 9:53Speaker 1: feel unfair, but the moment summer begins, daylight starts getting shorter,
- 9:58Speaker 1: which you know you don't have to pay. We're only
- 10:00Speaker 1: going to lose a handful of seconds every day, so
- 10:03Speaker 1: there is still plenty of setup left. But they will
- 10:06Speaker 1: add up and before you know it, it's September and
- 10:09Speaker 1: you're like, what the heck? I can't use my riding
- 10:12Speaker 1: lawnmower to go cut the grass at eight forty five people, Babe,
- 10:16Speaker 1: I actually.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Don't like that you brought that up. Let's go back
- 10:19Speaker 3: to the part where it's the longest day light day
- 10:23Speaker 3: on Sunday.
- 10:26Speaker 4: This is am I the problem.
- 10:29Speaker 2: It's me, Hi the problem.
- 10:33Speaker 7: It's me.
- 10:34Speaker 4: We'll hear one side of the story and with your help.
- 10:38Speaker 5: Decide if it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 10:42Speaker 4: That's right, I am a problem. On Big ninety eight point.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Seven, Adriana wants to know is this a red flag
- 10:51Speaker 3: or not. I don't know if you've seen this online
- 10:54Speaker 3: at all, but there was this poll online that asked
- 10:58Speaker 3: if you could steal a million dollar dollar and get
- 11:00Speaker 3: away with it, would you, and I brought this up
- 11:03Speaker 3: on a date with this guy I just started seeing,
- 11:06Speaker 3: and I asked him what his answer is, and he
- 11:09Speaker 3: said he would steal it. I would never steal a
- 11:12Speaker 3: million dollars, even if I could get away with it,
- 11:15Speaker 3: because I'm not a thief and I believe in honesty,
- 11:18Speaker 3: and the fact that he thinks it's no biggie makes
- 11:21Speaker 3: me feel like he's not a trustworthy person. He laughed
- 11:25Speaker 3: it off and said it's not a real question, but
- 11:28Speaker 3: when I pressed him about it, he still said, yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 3: he probably would, and that turned me off. Gabe, what
- 11:35Speaker 3: do you think? And also what do you think? Seven
- 11:37Speaker 3: oh one two a H one nine eight seven call
- 11:40Speaker 3: us text us. We also have this up on the
- 11:42Speaker 3: Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page. So, based on
- 11:45Speaker 3: this hypothetical scenario that she presented her date, his answer
- 11:50Speaker 3: makes her think, Oh, he's untrustworthy. What do you think, Gabe?
- 11:54Speaker 1: Weird how a hypothetical never gonna happen question is turned
- 11:59Speaker 1: into this dilemma. Okay, first off, if I could steal
- 12:04Speaker 1: a million dollars and get away with it, it would
- 12:06Speaker 1: all come and I'm gonna get just murdered by the
- 12:09Speaker 1: moral compass police. Okay, it would depend on who the
- 12:12Speaker 1: million dollars was from. Oh yeah, okay, if it's from
- 12:15Speaker 1: Elon Musk and I could get away with it absolutely
- 12:19Speaker 1: and I wouldn't feel guilty about it at all. But
- 12:22Speaker 1: if it's from someone that barely has a million dollars,
- 12:27Speaker 1: then no, I would never do that. But if you know,
- 12:29Speaker 1: if Walmart was leaving a million dollars in cash on
- 12:33Speaker 1: the ground in the parking lot, like, yeah, I'm not
- 12:36Speaker 1: really too worried about the Walton family. Yeah, so that
- 12:38Speaker 1: would is my realistic answer. But in general, noah, I
- 12:43Speaker 1: do not believe in stealing at all. That's actually you
- 12:45Speaker 1: know when you're a kid and they always tell the
- 12:46Speaker 1: story about Oh, at this time at the gas station,
- 12:49Speaker 1: I took a candy bar and my dad made me
- 12:51Speaker 1: go back and apologize, and YadA, YadA YadA. That was
- 12:54Speaker 1: one thing never ever in my life did growing up
- 12:56Speaker 1: with steal something. I was terrified that my dad would
- 13:00Speaker 1: break my fingers, right right, I was terrified.
- 13:03Speaker 2: So a thief I am not. Does Elon Musk need
- 13:06Speaker 2: a million dollars? Not at all? Okay, I don't know
- 13:10Speaker 2: if that answers your question.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Well, do you think that this is a red flag thing,
- 13:15Speaker 3: like should she be concerned that he's untrustworthy?
- 13:18Speaker 1: I think it's just would a stupid, silly hypothetical question
- 13:22Speaker 1: that he's probably just having fun with. Yeah, no, it
- 13:25Speaker 1: doesn't mean you're gonna, you know, end up being together
- 13:27Speaker 1: for a year. He's gonna sprint out and cheat on you,
- 13:29Speaker 1: and he's untrustworthy because he hypothetically said he'd take a
- 13:32Speaker 1: million dollars.
- 13:33Speaker 3: I Adriana, and I don't love agreeing with Gabe because
- 13:37Speaker 3: it just feels wrong in my soul to agree with him.
- 13:42Speaker 3: But I think I think, yeah, these kinds of questions
- 13:47Speaker 3: they're very I mean so out of the likelihood of
- 13:51Speaker 3: things that could.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Happen, zero percent chance that this will happen to this guy. Hey,
- 13:55Speaker 1: you get to have a million dollars and get away
- 13:57Speaker 1: with it? Who was going to say that to this
- 13:59Speaker 1: Dude's right?
- 14:00Speaker 3: And then like Adriana, what do you not like having
- 14:03Speaker 3: nice things?
- 14:04Speaker 2: What do you mean she didn't want to go to
- 14:07Speaker 2: Disney World?
- 14:08Speaker 3: Any got away with it? What would it mad? I'm
- 14:14Speaker 3: a rule follower. I will say that I am a
- 14:16Speaker 3: rule follower, and I also don't believe in stealing and
- 14:19Speaker 3: I'm you know, fairly, I'm honest when it counts.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Which sounds like you're not very honest.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Now, I'm honest when it counts. I don't lie about
- 14:28Speaker 3: things that are like super important. But like if someone
- 14:30Speaker 3: looks kind of terrible and they ask me how they look,
- 14:32Speaker 3: maybe I'm gonna say, you look fine, that's right, you
- 14:34Speaker 3: know what I mean. I'm honest where it counts. I'm
- 14:36Speaker 3: not going to be like, you know, I feel like
- 14:38Speaker 3: here in the EFIM area, we always see all these
- 14:41Speaker 3: stories about, you know, people who embezzled funds.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I've never seen more embezzling stories than when I moved
- 14:47Speaker 2: to that.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Yeah, and then even you know, the embezzling Battie that
- 14:51Speaker 3: was like what sixty k or something? Yeah, and she
- 14:54Speaker 3: did not get away with it, clearly how otherwise we
- 14:56Speaker 3: wouldn't know about it. But the thing is, so she
- 14:58Speaker 3: took from like low businesses and stuff, so like that stuff, no,
- 15:02Speaker 3: but a million dollars and you can get away with
- 15:05Speaker 3: it and it's some big, massive corporation like Walmart. I
- 15:09Speaker 3: feel like that's not a big deal, And I feel
- 15:11Speaker 3: like you're focused on the wrong things, Adriana.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a go getter, Adriana. Yeah, and he's gonna
- 15:17Speaker 1: go get away with that million dollar thievery.
- 15:20Speaker 3: He's just trying to provide a good life for you.
- 15:23Speaker 1: That's right, And we might be way out of pocket here.
- 15:26Speaker 1: But seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight
- 15:28Speaker 1: seven what do you think?
- 15:30Speaker 8: Uh?
- 15:31Speaker 1: Does this make this guy untrustworthy? I think it's just
- 15:34Speaker 1: some dumb, funny conversation that you have amongst your friends.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Then when it really came down to it, I think
- 15:40Speaker 1: most people would not do this.
- 15:43Speaker 3: I just also just don't have faith that I could
- 15:45Speaker 3: get away with anything exactly right. The problem thou shall
- 15:54Speaker 3: not steal. Therefore he is the problem. It is a
- 15:58Speaker 3: red flag. What other things would he get away with?
- 16:02Speaker 3: That's what Ashley Marie said on our Facebook page. So
- 16:05Speaker 3: Adriana wanted to know if it's a red flag that
- 16:08Speaker 3: the guy she's seeing answered the hypothetical question if you
- 16:12Speaker 3: could steal a million dollars and get away with it,
- 16:15Speaker 3: would you? And he said yeah, absolutely. And Adriana does
- 16:19Speaker 3: not like that answer, and she thinks that that is
- 16:22Speaker 3: problematic and makes him perhaps untrustworthy. But she did come
- 16:26Speaker 3: to us and share this, Am I the problem? And
- 16:30Speaker 3: she wants to know if it's a red flag. Apparently
- 16:32Speaker 3: Ashley Marie agrees with you Adriana that it is a
- 16:35Speaker 3: red flag.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Angie kind of falls in line with her. I do,
- 16:39Speaker 1: and you know, maybe I'm a horrible human.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I would not do this unless it It would all
- 16:46Speaker 1: depend on where the million is coming from.
- 16:48Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:48Speaker 1: If it's like a museum, no, If it's a lie
- 16:52Speaker 1: a non problem, no no.
- 16:54Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:54Speaker 1: But if this is Walmart, Bill Gates, yeah, Target, they're
- 17:00Speaker 1: not really gonna be pressed about him. A million dollars
- 17:03Speaker 1: to them is like a I don't know, a twenty
- 17:06Speaker 1: dollars bill to you and me.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Yeah, which I would not want to lose a twenty
- 17:10Speaker 3: dollars bill. However, I've done it and I lived. It's fine.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Millions of twenties I've probably lost in my life. Julia said,
- 17:18Speaker 1: I don't think that makes him untrustworthy.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I'm with Gabe on this one.
- 17:22Speaker 3: You just like when people say they're with you.
- 17:23Speaker 2: On sah it's so rare.
- 17:25Speaker 4: I like this.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Amanda said, it's a hypothetical question, not a red flag.
- 17:30Speaker 3: If anything, he should see you as a red flag. Oh,
- 17:36Speaker 3: maybe you're the red flag.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Tanya said, it's a hypothetical question with a hypothetical answer.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Most can't say what their conscience would actually do in
- 17:45Speaker 1: the moment. It really won't happen, So why red flag
- 17:48Speaker 1: a guy for a hypothetical question? And that's kind of
- 17:52Speaker 1: also along the lines of what we were saying. This
- 17:54Speaker 1: opportunity will never exist in this guy's life, so why
- 17:59Speaker 1: press him about it?
- 18:00Speaker 4: Adrianna?
- 18:00Speaker 3: Is this self sabotage? Are you? Is there something that
- 18:04Speaker 3: you're not ready to start dating that you're like, I
- 18:06Speaker 3: gotta find something that's yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 2: You're right?
- 18:08Speaker 1: Or you know how cheaters always accuse the other person
- 18:12Speaker 1: of cheating because it's on their guilty conscience.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Adriana, are you stealing?
- 18:16Speaker 2: Are you a thief?
- 18:18Speaker 8: Back in March we held March Dad, Miss and you
- 18:28Speaker 8: voted for the Big Daddy of Big ninety eight point
- 18:32Speaker 8: seven because Gabe was not eligible to compete.
- 18:35Speaker 3: He's not a father just yet, but he will be
- 18:37Speaker 3: coming up in a few weeks, And so I reached
- 18:40Speaker 3: out to Big ninety eight point seven's Big Daddy.
- 18:44Speaker 2: You always add a little extra duct sauce.
- 18:46Speaker 3: I know I have to, So Big Daddy Randy Harwood
- 18:51Speaker 3: has a message for you. Gabe, a little bit of
- 18:54Speaker 3: fatherly advice as you become the official daddy of Big
- 18:58Speaker 3: ninety eight point seven.
- 18:59Speaker 2: It's I'm just kidding.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Have you become the official daddy of Big ninety eight
- 19:06Speaker 3: point seven once baby g is born. So our current
- 19:11Speaker 3: big daddy has some words for you.
- 19:13Speaker 6: Hey, Gabe, this is the big Daddy and I was
- 19:17Speaker 6: asked to give you a little advice since you're going
- 19:18Speaker 6: to be a new dad. And my one piece of
- 19:21Speaker 6: advice is, don't listen to any of the advice that
- 19:24Speaker 6: you get. Parenting is, especially being a new parent, is
- 19:27Speaker 6: an adventure. It's there's no manual, there's no instructions, there's nothing.
- 19:32Speaker 6: Your parents will tell you all kinds of things how
- 19:35Speaker 6: they raised you, and your wife's parents will tell you
- 19:39Speaker 6: the same, and they'll all want to tell you you're
- 19:42Speaker 6: holding the baby wrong, or you're doing this, or you're
- 19:44Speaker 6: doing that, or you should be doing this, or you
- 19:46Speaker 6: should be doing that. Go tell them to take a hike. Really,
- 19:49Speaker 6: just have patience, be quick to forgive the little tykes
- 19:53Speaker 6: even though they don't know what they're doing. Well, especially
- 19:55Speaker 6: because they don't know what they're doing, they're in a
- 19:57Speaker 6: strange new world and you're going to enter that range
- 20:00Speaker 6: new world as parents. So just enjoy these years because
- 20:05Speaker 6: too soon they grow up and get married and move
- 20:07Speaker 6: away and have families of their own. So you think, well,
- 20:10Speaker 6: I've got lots of time, but really you don't. So
- 20:13Speaker 6: enjoy these these times when they're not mobile. They're just
- 20:17Speaker 6: sitting there. You can hold them, you can set them down.
- 20:19Speaker 6: Once they get mobile, then you've got a little more
- 20:21Speaker 6: challenging things on your hand. But just parent with your
- 20:25Speaker 6: instincts and if you do need advice, and take it
- 20:28Speaker 6: all with a grant assault with whoever you ask from,
- 20:31Speaker 6: and good luck on your new parenting journey. I hope
- 20:34Speaker 6: to be able to see the little critter, and good
- 20:37Speaker 6: luck on this fun adventure later.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Well, Randy, I greatly appreciate that. That's very sweet and
- 20:43Speaker 1: very thought out and very heartfelt, and yes, I'm very grateful.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I think too, you know, Father's Day obviously on Sunday,
- 20:50Speaker 1: but I think that's wonderful advice for mom or dad.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I think that goes to just being a parent in general.
- 20:55Speaker 1: I know it was kind of dedicated or directed at
- 20:58Speaker 1: me in this moment here, but I think a lot
- 21:00Speaker 1: of parents in general could take some advice from that
- 21:02Speaker 1: and is very, very strying.
- 21:04Speaker 3: I didn't expect to cry right now.
- 21:09Speaker 5: I starting off the day with something good. This is
- 21:15Speaker 5: Gabe's good News on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Well, I'm sure you kind of knew where this was
- 21:21Speaker 1: going for Gabe's good News of the day today. But
- 21:25Speaker 1: a big happy Father's Day to any dad out there.
- 21:29Speaker 2: You know dad's they're important.
- 21:31Speaker 1: They sometimes don't say much, They sometimes might not show
- 21:34Speaker 1: exactly the best emotions or show how they care, but
- 21:38Speaker 1: dad does care, and Dad loves you, and he's just
- 21:40Speaker 1: appreciative to be a father. I would like to assume
- 21:43Speaker 1: and any dad out there, we just hope you have
- 21:45Speaker 1: a wonderful weekend, and we hope you have a wonderful Sunday.
- 21:49Speaker 1: And if what you want is to sit in the
- 21:51Speaker 1: garage listening to Creed drinking bush light all day, I
- 21:55Speaker 1: hope that happens. If you want to play golf, I
- 21:57Speaker 1: hope that happens.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Are you just listing things that you want on Father's Day?
- 22:01Speaker 2: Well, I'm kind of going with go with what you knowing.
- 22:04Speaker 1: So to any dad, Happy Father's Day in any type
- 22:08Speaker 1: of any type of like scenario that you might be
- 22:12Speaker 1: playing dad in you know, stepdad or adopted dad, whatever
- 22:15Speaker 1: the case may be.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Whoever dad is.
- 22:17Speaker 3: The father figure in your life. Like, Happy Father's Day to.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Those men, that's right, and we hope you have a
- 22:24Speaker 1: wonderful Sunday. Big Happy Father's Day to my dad Greg,
- 22:28Speaker 1: Greg Glitton, the two g the original two G's, and
- 22:33Speaker 1: I hope he has a great day.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I have the best dad on planet Earth.
- 22:36Speaker 1: He's, you know, kind of an old ornery guy at moments,
- 22:38Speaker 1: but he has the sweetest, softest heart ever. Especially as
- 22:42Speaker 1: he's gotten older, He's really become a big giant softy
- 22:45Speaker 1: and we love to remind him about that every single day,
- 22:47Speaker 1: which he absolutely loves, No, he hates it. But Happy
- 22:52Speaker 1: Father's Day to Greg as well on Sunday. And you
- 22:55Speaker 1: know my favorite quote, if you don't hear it, is
- 22:57Speaker 1: broken Crans. They still color And the world is full
- 23:00Speaker 1: of nice people. If you can't find one, you gotta
- 23:02Speaker 1: be one.
