- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Hello.
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: Good morning.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: It's not good morning anymore.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Oh shoot.
- 0:07unknown: Yeah.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: I thought maybe in California it was morning.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: No.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: No.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: You need to do that.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: You know, I need to pick up.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: I have to admit.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: I have to admit something.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Uh I I'm always one of these guys saying, oh Android phone, iPhone, same thing, same difference.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: They both take pictures, da da da.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: But then you're recording on the phone, and then I had, and then my phone you can record on, and I tried recording on my phone, and it sounds like total shit.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: You can't even use the recording, it's so bad.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: And if you record on an iPhone a call, it sounds fine.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: So yeah, now I have to admit that the iPhone has a better feature.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: It's a better feature.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: So I just wanted to get that off my chest.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: You feel better?
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: I feel about the same, actually.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: I'm a little bit upset because I want that them to be more equal.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: And yet when I've when I I I have to like come to terms with facts, you know what I mean?
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: And the facts are that I cannot record a decent uh recording on my Android phone, and yet on an iPhone, which my buddy Brian has, and he tried it today and it worked great.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: So I realized, okay, um one put one over here on the iPhone side and zero over here on the Android side.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Anyway, whatever.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: It's just one of those things.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: A lot of people already, a lot of people feel that way, but I I any I didn't, but anyway.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: And then I'm I'm really big into this uh daylight savings time, but a lot of people aren't.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: So I don't know what to say.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, the House said, oh, we're gonna put us in a constant daylight savings time, which has to go through the Senate and whatever, but I think it's a great idea, and a lot of people don't like it because they say, Oh, it's gonna be dark at nine o'clock and the children are lying trying to get on the bus.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: And it's like, well, put the children in school later.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: But a lot of people just can't deal with the a lot of people can't deal with that.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: And the thing is, I like light in the evening because it I don't like to go inside at 5 30, 6 o'clock and be like, what do I do now?
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: And watch TV.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: I mean, I want to I want to be out working in the fields late, you know, I want to be playing baseball and we're playing soccer and working on working in the fields.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: So I like the light later working in the fields early.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, I'm not one of those people, so I'm I'm on um, but you know, a lot of times my opinions are in the minority, I think, and that's whether it be Android phones or time changes or just universal time around the world.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: I have a lot of ideas that I think are kind of just not that popular, and that's just the way my mind works.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: It's okay.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: I've come to terms with it.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: I think you're the same way.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: I think you have like you think like ants are gonna take over this consciousness, and you have things that no, I don't think that.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Obviously, you have to do that.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: I was exaggerating.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: I was exaggerating, I thought about it.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: You haven't thought about it at all.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: No, I probably did think about it.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: So what's the so then what's what did you come up with?
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: What did you what have you figured out?
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Hmm.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: They work together better than uh than humans.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: How about that?
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: You haven't thought about it.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: What have you been thinking about so much?
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Um, what have I been thinking about?
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Um Yeah, what are you thinking about?
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: Like, what are you thinking about all the time so much?
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: Not daylight savings time, no, not ants, and not phones.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: No, not phones.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: Um, what am I thinking about?
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Um think a lot about pizza.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't think as much about pizza as probably you do because that's every time I see a pizza place, I have to look up pictures and think, can I get any way I can eat there right now?
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: Is it a good time to eat?
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: There we go.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: There's the ding.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: Ding-a-wing, ding-a-ling.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Well, and my and on the other one today, I had the ding as well because it was an iPhone.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: And so we opened it up to Jared to explain just what's going on.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: What did he say?
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: Happened three or four times on ours.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: We have 45 minutes, happened all the time.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: I think it's a regular ding.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: I think my new theory that I just came up with at this very moment is that it's a regular ding to remind you that you're being recorded.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: That's my guess.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: And it's it's really quite pleasant to like wonder about things and not look them up on the internet because that's what we used to do when we were children, and that's how our minds are so strong and elastic right now.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're right.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: We didn't look things up on the internet.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: We we we we we just stayed away from looking up things on the internet when we were kids.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: But we had Encyclopedia Britannica, you better believe it, or some sort of a little book they sold us, some door-to-door salesman sold us that we had different numbers and we'd look up under N for Nicaragua if we wanted to know something.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: You know, and everything in the world was in those books.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: We really aren't talking about anything in this one.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: But everything at the same time.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: Well, but also maybe nothing.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: Maybe I'm gonna title this one skip this one.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: We didn't talk about anything.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Maybe no, no, no, no.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: But that will make people want to listen to it.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Wow, but it's when you tell them not to listen, they want to listen.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: So then why don't you lay something down?
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: Give some dad dad vice.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: Something.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, dad vice, get some dad eat vegetables.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: I just took my daughter to the store to get food, and all she bought was cheese and cheese and wine and chocolate and bread and cheese.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: And I guess she bought some salami.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: But what there's not a vegetable in the whole cart, it was over$200, and there's not a vegetable.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: She bought a$200.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: And I can tell her to buy a vegetable, but it doesn't, that doesn't do any.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: That's not how it works.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Like, or I can put vegetables in her cart that she won't eat and they'll go rot.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: Well, you could tell her that you know, you can put vegetables on your charcuterie plate.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: That's that's okay.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: People like that.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: I I I'm I'm sort of disappointed.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: I feel like I raised her wrong.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: Eat your vegetables as your dad, vice.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: That's that's yeah, yeah.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Eat your vegetables.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Is that what's is why is that bad?
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: Because I thought that was good.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: Everyone knows that.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: I know, but I'm not very smart.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: I'm not very insightful.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm so sick of being here.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: I'm going home tomorrow.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: I'm so ready to go home.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: This whole thing is I'm I'm just over it, you know.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Just pack, pack.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: I mean, the weather's nice, I will say that.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: I like being around my daughter some.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: She's complaining, you know, but I'm ready.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: I'm just ready.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: I'm ready to go home, get back to my life, you know.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: Get get and eat some pizza.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: Eat some pizza.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: And eat pizza and and then make artwork and clean up my yard and stuff like that.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: You know, stuff I like to do.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: I end up laying around looking at my phone.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: That's no fun.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: What the hell?
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: Your phone.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: Don't look at your phone.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: There's my dad vice.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: Which is not a there you go.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: Stop looking at your phone.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: But but get the dad vice you're probably listening to from a phone.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: Self self-vice, yeah.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: From a phone.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: So that's it's hard.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: That's a hard one.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: The the world is a hard place to live.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: I mean, that could be your title.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it's not really.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: Not really.
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: Well, not when you live in Ohio, California.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: And you live in the lap of luxury.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: Things are good.
