GIANTS POSTCAST: McDonald KEEPS ROLLING, Schmitt CRUSHES TWO HOME RUNS
The San Francisco Giants took down the Athletics 6-4 tonight as Trevor McDonald tossed 6.2 solid innings and Casey Schmitt crushed two home runs into the Sacramento night. The bullpen bent, but didn't break for the San Francisco Giants as a late surge by the Athletics brought them within striking distance, but ultimately fell short. The San Francisco Giants have won all three of Trevor McDonald's starts so far this season, and the rookie has shown that he can provide more value than just a spot starter for this team.
