- 4:55Speaker 2: pass in your highlighters unless dive into it. We're coming
- 4:58Speaker 2: at you from the New King. If you want to
- 5:00Speaker 2: follow version for version and we're starting in Revelation chapter two,
- 5:06Speaker 2: and we're picking it back up in verse eighteen, and
- 5:09Speaker 2: we're gonna good. We're gonna go through verse twenty nine
- 5:13Speaker 2: as we follow along, and then before get into it,
- 5:20Speaker 2: I just want to highlight something. I know I mentioned
- 5:24Speaker 2: it on the previous episodes, but it's just really in
- 5:29Speaker 2: my heart to really see how much importance and priority
- 5:36Speaker 2: the Lord puts on the churches. He took time out
- 5:39Speaker 2: to write letters to set these seven churches, write in Asia,
- 5:46Speaker 2: and look at how much time and effort to where
- 5:50Speaker 2: the God gives in building the church. Even in the
- 5:55Speaker 2: New Testament, the epistles, these are letters written to churches.
- 6:01Speaker 2: We have instructions on how to build a church, how
- 6:04Speaker 2: to run a church, how to function and behave in church,
- 6:08Speaker 2: how to have a healthy church. Right, But then if
- 6:12Speaker 2: you look at society today, look at the low priority
- 6:18Speaker 2: they put on church. There's people in this generation we're
- 6:22Speaker 2: living in now that's never set foot.
- 6:24Speaker 4: In the church.
- 6:24Speaker 2: They probably never heard of church and don't understand the church.
- 6:30Speaker 2: During COVID, they deem the church irrelevant or non essentral.
- 6:38Speaker 2: And look at a lot of people, even the Saints,
- 6:42Speaker 2: people who go to church, look at their attitudes about church.
- 6:46Speaker 2: They can just hop church from church. They can go
- 6:50Speaker 2: in church and bring their drama and bring their mess.
- 6:53Speaker 2: They can disrespect the pastors and the leaders like wow,
- 6:58Speaker 2: Like look at church versus scripture versus society, how they
- 7:04Speaker 2: treat the church. Now, we know that there's corrupt churches
- 7:08Speaker 2: out here. This is what these letters are about. A
- 7:11Speaker 2: lot of people will say, I'm not going to go
- 7:13Speaker 2: to church because there's hypocrites in the church. There's corrupt pastors.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Pastors are sleeping with all the members in church. They're
- 7:21Speaker 2: stealing money, they're mismanaging money and all this stuff. Yeah,
- 7:26Speaker 2: but guess what we're reading about it right now in
- 7:31Speaker 2: the Book of Revelation. Jesus sees it, he knows it,
- 7:35Speaker 2: and he gives us instruction. Jesus knows how to take
- 7:39Speaker 2: care of the church. And also we are the church.
- 7:45Speaker 2: And so I don't agree with the attitude of oh
- 7:48Speaker 2: I don't need church to serve God. I mean, look
- 7:51Speaker 2: at how much time and how much work Jesus himself
- 7:56Speaker 2: puts into the church. And so we can't throw the
- 8:00Speaker 2: baby out with the bathwater. Yeah, there's corrupt churches out there.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Will go and find a faithful church, or start a work,
- 8:08Speaker 2: and you stay faithful to it. You be the light
- 8:11Speaker 2: that you're looking for. Amen, Like, there's no excuses, And
- 8:16Speaker 2: this has definitely changed my attitude about church. That he
- 8:21Speaker 2: doesn't send a letter to other institutions. He doesn't send
- 8:25Speaker 2: a letter to Microsoft, right, and think about how people
- 8:30Speaker 2: treat Microsoft. They spend time going to college so that
- 8:36Speaker 2: they can get a good degree so that they can
- 8:38Speaker 2: get hired and spend the rest of their life working
- 8:42Speaker 2: for Microsoft. Right, It's their dream job. And people invest.
- 8:47Speaker 2: People invest hundreds and thousands and millions of dollars to
- 8:53Speaker 2: be a part of this institution, this Microsoft, for whatever institutione.
- 8:59Speaker 2: People want the stock market, and people put a lot
- 9:02Speaker 2: of value upon these other organizations which will mean nothing
- 9:07Speaker 2: in all eternity. Right, we need to invest in eternal things,
- 9:18Speaker 2: and the way that we do that is in and
- 9:22Speaker 2: through the church. So I just wanted to bring that
- 9:27Speaker 2: point out, like, Wow, this gives me a whole new
- 9:29Speaker 2: revelation just about the church itself. This is the most
- 9:34Speaker 2: important institution on planet Earth. This is the only institution
- 9:40Speaker 2: that is connected to our eternity. And man, I don't
- 9:46Speaker 2: think Jesus does anything outside the church I could be wrong.
- 9:50Speaker 2: If I'm wrong, hey posted in a life chat. Let
- 9:54Speaker 2: me know. Let me know if you see anything in
- 9:57Speaker 2: the Bible where God is doing the work outside the church.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I mean, of course, except the Old Testament. He was
- 10:06Speaker 2: doing a work through the nation of Israel in the
- 10:08Speaker 2: Old Testament. But in the New Testament it's all the church. Amen.
- 10:13Speaker 2: So he's gonna write his letter. He's going to deal
- 10:16Speaker 2: with the church. We are now in the church age.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I spoke about that in the introduction to this book,
- 10:23Speaker 2: where there's a past, present, and future aspect to the
- 10:27Speaker 2: Book of Revelation. And this is the present. We are
- 10:31Speaker 2: in the present. We are in the church age. And
- 10:34Speaker 2: so let's dive into it, Joe. The verse eighteen, it says,
- 10:44Speaker 2: and to the Angel of the Church and Thyatira, right,
- 10:48Speaker 2: these things says the Son of God, who has eyes
- 10:53Speaker 2: like a flame of fire, and his feet like fine brass. Now,
- 10:59Speaker 2: as we remember this, these letters, how Jesus starts off
- 11:03Speaker 2: describing himself, and the way that he describes himself is
- 11:08Speaker 2: gonna be the way that he's gonna deal with the
- 11:11Speaker 2: churches is gonna come up again. Right, How he's either
- 11:15Speaker 2: gonna judge the church how he's either going to encourage
- 11:18Speaker 2: the church, instruct the church, or whatever the church means
- 11:22Speaker 2: at the moment. And that's who Jesus is to us
- 11:25Speaker 2: on a personal basis. Right, whatever we need, that is
- 11:30Speaker 2: who he is. If we need encouragement, if we need
- 11:34Speaker 2: to be saved, he's our savior. If we need finances,
- 11:37Speaker 2: he's our provider. Right, if we need joy, he is
- 11:40Speaker 2: our peace, He's our bread of life. Jesus is our everything.
- 11:44Speaker 2: If we get that revelation, the sooner, the better off
- 11:48Speaker 2: we will be. And then, and so he's talking to
- 11:53Speaker 2: the compromised church. I mean no, not the compromise, but
- 11:56Speaker 2: the corrupt church. Now he talked, and he introduces himself
- 12:02Speaker 2: as the son of God. Right, he's reminding this corrupt
- 12:07Speaker 2: church of his divine authority. Now, his eyes like flames
- 12:13Speaker 2: speak of penetrating judgment. Right, no one is going to
- 12:19Speaker 2: be able to hide anything before his eyes. His feet
- 12:23Speaker 2: like brass suggests that he's immovable. It's immovable strength and
- 12:28Speaker 2: symbolizes judgment and purity. Brass is always a metal that
- 12:36Speaker 2: symbolizes judgment and scripture. Now he sees all not just
- 12:43Speaker 2: our actions, but he sees our motives. Jesus is not
- 12:49Speaker 2: playing games with his church. Fam If Jesus is serious
- 12:56Speaker 2: about the church, need to be serious as well. Now
- 13:00Speaker 2: verse nineteen, I know your works, love, service, faith in
- 13:07Speaker 2: your patience. Now look, this church is working for the Lord,
- 13:15Speaker 2: and this church has love for the Lord. Now remember
- 13:21Speaker 2: he rebukes Ephesus because they lost their first love. But
- 13:25Speaker 2: this church has love. It says right here. They're not
- 13:29Speaker 2: only work, but there's a service. They're providing service. They're
- 13:33Speaker 2: probably feeding the homeless or something like that. They have faith,
- 13:37Speaker 2: and faith comes by hearing. So this church must be
- 13:41Speaker 2: diligent to read their word. And they have patience. They
- 13:46Speaker 2: have patience with people or situations or circumstances. How many
- 13:53Speaker 2: would look at this church on the outward and say, hey,
- 13:56Speaker 2: this is the church I want to be a part
- 13:58Speaker 2: of right And as your works, the last are more
- 14:04Speaker 2: than the first. So wow, man, now this is the
- 14:08Speaker 2: longest letter concerning these seven churches in the Book of Revelation.
- 14:15Speaker 2: They get the longest letter. And though this church was compromised,
- 14:22Speaker 2: this church was also active their love, their service, and
- 14:28Speaker 2: it all increased every over time, like it's amazing, it's
- 14:33Speaker 2: amazing to see this. And we got to understand, we
- 14:37Speaker 2: need to ask for the spirit of discernment, because even
- 14:40Speaker 2: though it might look good on the inside, there's some
- 14:44Speaker 2: things that are there that need to be dealt with,
- 14:48Speaker 2: dealt with underneath the surface. Sometimes I mean they were
- 14:53Speaker 2: doing more than before, because this shows us that good
- 14:58Speaker 2: works don't excuse bad doctrine or spiritual corruption. Now, what
- 15:06Speaker 2: I mean by doctrine doctrine and just a fancy word
- 15:09Speaker 2: for teaching what you believe is how you're going to behave.
- 15:15Speaker 2: That's why it's very important that you get the correct
- 15:19Speaker 2: doctrine and the correct teaching. And if you pay attention
- 15:26Speaker 2: to this. Jesus almost addresses every church because of what
- 15:33Speaker 2: they teach, what they tolerate, or if they're faithful in
- 15:38Speaker 2: their teaching. Amen. So in verse twenty we hear the correction.
- 15:44Speaker 2: He says, nevertheless, I have a few things against you.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Now he has more than one. He has a few
- 15:51Speaker 2: things against this amazing church. Like this church looks great
- 15:55Speaker 2: on the outword, right, But it says, but you allow
- 16:02Speaker 2: that woman Jezebel. Now we know about Jezebel.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Right.
- 16:08Speaker 2: This is something when people, especially people in church, when
- 16:11Speaker 2: there's a female that is acting up in church. They
- 16:14Speaker 2: want to call her a Jezebel female is an actual
- 16:19Speaker 2: person in history. She was married to King Ahab, and
- 16:25Speaker 2: so it's always been said that in order to have
- 16:27Speaker 2: a Jezebel, you gotta have an a haveb a passive man.
- 16:31Speaker 2: And Jezebel is a woman who dominates and wants to
- 16:34Speaker 2: control and have authority over the man. That's basically the
- 16:40Speaker 2: spirit behind it. But to teach, and it says for
- 16:45Speaker 2: her to teach and seduce my servants to commit sexual immorality. Now,
- 16:51Speaker 2: Jezebel is always connected to sexual corruption. She's a seducer.
- 16:58Speaker 2: She seduces leaders in the church. This is what this
- 17:03Speaker 2: spirit does, that operates, It seduces it, it timidates, right, Jezebel,
- 17:11Speaker 2: you should know when your church is taken over by
- 17:14Speaker 2: Jezebel's spirit, all the women are dominating the men. And
- 17:20Speaker 2: you can see this spirit operating in society. And it
- 17:25Speaker 2: says and too, eating sacrifice to idols. Now, as I
- 17:31Speaker 2: said before, their structure. When a woman is in charge,
- 17:35Speaker 2: when she takes over the family, and she takes over
- 17:40Speaker 2: and has authority over the man, it is illegitimate authority.
- 17:45Speaker 2: It opens doors to the demonic realm. It opens doors
- 17:50Speaker 2: to Jezebel, this spirit. And when a man is so
- 17:53Speaker 2: passive and he doesn't know his identity, he doesn't know
- 17:56Speaker 2: his authority, and that man becomes dominated, that man is miserable.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Right now, there's a balance here. That submission is a
- 18:08Speaker 2: willing choice. No man can force a woman to submit
- 18:12Speaker 2: to him. She has to be willing to do that.
- 18:15Speaker 2: But her submission must be onto God. Right, she must
- 18:20Speaker 2: have faith in the Lord, because most men don't deserve submission.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Most men mess up, they don't deserve respect. We make mistakes,
- 18:30Speaker 2: but if you depend on us, it will never happen.
- 18:33Speaker 2: It's got to be an act of faith. And so
- 18:37Speaker 2: Jesus right here is attacking exposing this Jezebel's spirit. Now,
- 18:44Speaker 2: Jezebel is not necessarily a little person in this scripture,
- 18:50Speaker 2: but a symbol of corruption and influence. This is a
- 18:56Speaker 2: corrupting spirit in this will influence you, almost force you,
- 19:03Speaker 2: like I say, dominate you to do the wrong thing. Now,
- 19:07Speaker 2: the actual story of Jezebel, you can find it in
- 19:10Speaker 2: First Kings. She led Israel into idolatry and sin. She
- 19:16Speaker 2: led a whole nation to worship a false god, bald
- 19:21Speaker 2: worship and she killed the true prophets of God. She's
- 19:25Speaker 2: a murderer. Now. As horrible as this woman sounds, right,
- 19:32Speaker 2: this is a warning to the church, is today warning
- 19:37Speaker 2: against his spirit. But if we tolerate immorality and false teaching,
- 19:45Speaker 2: we invite judgment from God himself. We're called to love
- 19:50Speaker 2: the sinner, but to never affirm the sin. So I
- 19:56Speaker 2: think what I think is interesting about this is the
- 19:59Speaker 2: fact that the church themselves were not teaching it. The
- 20:06Speaker 2: church themselves were not indulging in it. They just tolerated it.
- 20:12Speaker 2: They tolerated juz a Bell, they tolerated somebody else was
- 20:15Speaker 2: teaching it, and they were just sitting by, just tolerating
- 20:18Speaker 2: it and allowing it to happen. And you know, I've
- 20:23Speaker 2: heard it said that if you don't make a decision,
- 20:25Speaker 2: you've made a decision. No one is neutral in this.
- 20:30Speaker 2: So what am I trying to say? Be careful what
- 20:33Speaker 2: you tolerate, because you can invite judgment. We can invite
- 20:37Speaker 2: the judgment of God just by tolerating sin, not only
- 20:42Speaker 2: in the church, but even in our personal lives. I
- 20:45Speaker 2: always say, you know, people say, well, I want to
- 20:47Speaker 2: be loving and I don't want to judge people in
- 20:51Speaker 2: their sin.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I don't want to be judgmental. I want to be
- 20:54Speaker 2: harsh towards people. If I say something, if I say
- 20:57Speaker 2: what the Bible says, the person's gonna get mad at me.
- 21:00Speaker 2: And the person's not gonna want to hang out with me.
- 21:03Speaker 2: The person's gonna end the relationship.
- 21:05Speaker 5: Right.
- 21:07Speaker 2: And so they sit there and they tolerated. They allow
- 21:11Speaker 2: them to bring their sin into whatever situation, into their lives,
- 21:18Speaker 2: you know, around their children and this and that and
- 21:21Speaker 2: the other. And sin doesn't play nice. Yeah, you want
- 21:25Speaker 2: to play nice, and you want to play patty cake,
- 21:27Speaker 2: and you want to be nice with the scripture. You
- 21:30Speaker 2: don't want to use your sword to cut the person up.
- 21:32Speaker 2: But yet here's the sin which turns into a snake.
- 21:36Speaker 2: They're gonna swallow up your children, your family, your life,
- 21:40Speaker 2: drag you and the family to hell, right if possible.
- 21:44Speaker 2: And people are bold with their sin. They put their
- 21:48Speaker 2: sin in your face. They're not gonna play in it. Well,
- 21:50Speaker 2: I don't. I know that they believe in the Bible.
- 21:53Speaker 2: So I'm gonna be loving and I'm not going to
- 21:56Speaker 2: offend them with my sin. No, they're gonna throw they're
- 21:59Speaker 2: parading in the street. So I mean, I don't know.
- 22:03Speaker 2: This is something that I had to deal with, but
- 22:06Speaker 2: belove it. Be careful what you tolerate. All right, let's
- 22:13Speaker 2: go to the next scripture, verse twenty one. And I
- 22:16Speaker 2: gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality and
- 22:21Speaker 2: she did not repent. Wow, now this is major.
- 22:26Speaker 3: This, this.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Is wrong.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Whenever God, it wants to deal with us. First of all,
- 22:34Speaker 2: it says, it's his loving kindness to correct us, and
- 22:38Speaker 2: it's a gift to given us. He doesn't have to
- 22:42Speaker 2: allow us to repent. He didn't have to do any
- 22:46Speaker 2: of that, but it's a gift. It shows his goodness
- 22:49Speaker 2: and his mercy and shows how gracious God is. It's
- 22:54Speaker 2: proof even this woman Jezebel, even the corrupt church, is
- 23:01Speaker 2: given space to repent. But when repentance is refused, then
- 23:10Speaker 2: justice comes. God has to judge. People in hell wish
- 23:17Speaker 2: they had five seconds to repent, five seconds they just
- 23:22Speaker 2: think about it. One, two, three, four, five. People in
- 23:26Speaker 2: hell don't even have that. They do not have five
- 23:30Speaker 2: seconds to repent, to ask God to forgive them. And
- 23:38Speaker 2: here we have it. God has blessed us with it.
- 23:43Speaker 2: And look at Jezebel. He gave it to Jezebel, and
- 23:46Speaker 2: she refused it in verse twenty two through to twenty
- 23:52Speaker 2: two through twenty three. Indeed, I will cast her into
- 23:57Speaker 2: a sick bed. Right sick bed. We can think of
- 24:03Speaker 2: eggs like when we're having sex, sexual morality, immorality outside
- 24:09Speaker 2: of marriage. We're opening ourselves up to all kinds of diseases.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Right sexual immorality will bring you know, we see aids
- 24:19Speaker 2: on the planet, we see herpes, and we see STDs
- 24:25Speaker 2: all over the place. Because people do not honor marriage.
- 24:29Speaker 2: They think that it's their own body. They can do
- 24:32Speaker 2: what they want, but they're joining themselves to this cesspool.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Because when you sleep with somebody, you're taking that person
- 24:42Speaker 2: into the next relationship with you. And I will give
- 24:50Speaker 2: to each one according to your works. The Bible warns
- 24:56Speaker 2: that judgment begins in the house of God. Jesus will
- 25:02Speaker 2: deal with corruption harshly to purify his bride. He will
- 25:10Speaker 2: deal with his church. She's in the church with this
- 25:13Speaker 2: doctor and this Josebel, and God put her on a
- 25:18Speaker 2: sick bed, and all of her children, all those who
- 25:22Speaker 2: are connected to her will be judged. We've got to
- 25:27Speaker 2: be clean family Revival doesn't come to a compromising people,
- 25:33Speaker 2: or should I say, revival doesn't come to a compromised people.
- 25:39Speaker 2: It comes to those who have repented, repented. It comes
- 25:45Speaker 2: to the repentent. It comes to those who repent and
- 25:49Speaker 2: turn from our sins a man, Let us be that.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Let us be those people. Let us be the pure
- 25:55Speaker 2: church that God is looking for. And remember we said
- 26:00Speaker 2: that purity is not perfection. It's not that we got
- 26:02Speaker 2: to be perfect. You know, the Bible tells us we're perfect.
- 26:06Speaker 2: But we've got to be persistent in our faith. Never
- 26:09Speaker 2: if we fall, get back up Verse twenty four and
- 26:15Speaker 2: twenty five. But to you, I say, who have not
- 26:20Speaker 2: known the deaths of Satan, I will put on you
- 26:24Speaker 2: no other burden. But hold fast what you have till
- 26:31Speaker 2: I come. Amen. Now, there's always a remnant, there's always
- 26:37Speaker 2: a faithful few. That's why there's no excuse. That's why
- 26:41Speaker 2: we can't say, oh, your church is corrupt, I'm not joining. No,
- 26:47Speaker 2: because even in the corrupt church, you're gonna find a
- 26:50Speaker 2: faithful few. See believers who haven't fallen. The Scripture is
- 27:05Speaker 2: telling us just to hold fast, don't give up. We
- 27:11Speaker 2: don't need any new Revelation. We just need to remain
- 27:15Speaker 2: faithful to what the Word of God tells us to do.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Now and this I want to apply this to us,
- 27:23Speaker 2: to our generation right now. Just hold fast, don't give up.
- 27:32Speaker 2: He says that he will put no other burden on us.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Just hold on to what you've got. He's coming, right,
- 27:40Speaker 2: He's coming. Just stay faithful, keep stay in prayer, stay
- 27:46Speaker 2: in the word, stay in fellowship with one another. Amen, hallelujah.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Now verse twenty six through twenty eight. And he who
- 27:57Speaker 2: overcomes to him, I will give power over the nations,
- 28:03Speaker 2: and I will give him the morning Star. Amen. Now
- 28:08Speaker 2: here's one of my favorite parts of the Bible, the overcomers. Amen.
- 28:14Speaker 2: I am a part of that group. I am identifying
- 28:18Speaker 2: with the overcomers, and I pray belove it that you
- 28:21Speaker 2: will identify with them as well. I'm putting that in
- 28:25Speaker 2: the atmosphere. I want to belong to the overcomers. Heymen,
- 28:31Speaker 2: this group. God will give power over the nations and
- 28:37Speaker 2: they will be given the morning Star. The morning star
- 28:41Speaker 2: is Jesus himself. Hallelujah. Now, once we get to Revelation
- 28:49Speaker 2: chapter twenty two, verse take sixteen, hopefully God will give
- 28:54Speaker 2: us the grace to get through that. And I mean,
- 28:57Speaker 2: if he wants to rapture us and take us out
- 29:00Speaker 2: before we get to there, then amen, we'll see it
- 29:03Speaker 2: live in heaven, right the Book of Revelation. But yeah,
- 29:09Speaker 2: in chapter twenty two, he describes himself as a morning star.
- 29:13Speaker 2: The reward for faithfulness is intimacy with Jesus himself. He's
- 29:20Speaker 2: gonna give us himself and we will be ruling with him.
- 29:25Speaker 2: You may feel overlooked here on this planet. You may
- 29:29Speaker 2: feel like you're insignificant on earth, or maybe they've even
- 29:33Speaker 2: called you nine essentil like even me. Even on my
- 29:38Speaker 2: place of employment, they sent us home for three months.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Basically we were not essential. We didn't it wasn't essential
- 29:47Speaker 2: for us to come in because right they were trying
- 29:50Speaker 2: to keep germs down and keep the place clean. So
- 29:55Speaker 2: they said, you know what, you guys can sit sit
- 29:57Speaker 2: this one out. But the people we act absolutely need
- 30:01Speaker 2: there will come to work. But Heaven has a crown
- 30:08Speaker 2: for those who stay faithful. Amen. And I want to
- 30:13Speaker 2: say that Jesus is enough. Once you realize who, you
- 30:17Speaker 2: get the full revelation of Jesus Christ, right, you will
- 30:23Speaker 2: stop all other pursuits and you will put your time
- 30:27Speaker 2: and energy in pursuing him and making him that priority.
- 30:34Speaker 2: We spend this time in this life pursuing after him,
- 30:39Speaker 2: but our reward will be him for all eternity, and
- 30:44Speaker 2: we will be ruling and reigning with him. So the
- 30:48Speaker 2: last verse is verse twenty nine. On this podcast, we're
- 30:54Speaker 2: gonna look at them. We're gonna go into other segments
- 30:58Speaker 2: on the podcast. Verse twenty nine. Let's look at it,
- 31:06Speaker 2: and then we'll keep it pushing. And it says he
- 31:09Speaker 2: who has ears to hear, let him hear what the
- 31:12Speaker 2: spirit says to the churches. This message isn't just for
- 31:19Speaker 2: Dia Tyra. It's for the church today. It's for the
- 31:25Speaker 2: church today. You can apply it, and it says the
- 31:30Speaker 2: message to the churches. It doesn't say the message to
- 31:35Speaker 2: Thia Tyra only. No, it's the message to the churches.
- 31:39Speaker 2: So what are the some of the key takeaways from this.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I'm also gonna post this in the Life Chat, according
- 31:49Speaker 2: to the scripture, and I try to share this in
- 31:53Speaker 2: the most loving way possibly that I can't. Don't tolerate
- 32:00Speaker 2: corruption even in the name of love or unity. Don't
- 32:08Speaker 2: tolerate corruption even in the name of love or unity,
- 32:14Speaker 2: because you can set yourself up for judgment and you
- 32:18Speaker 2: can be held accountable. What God says is sin is sin.
- 32:23Speaker 2: If God says cast it out, cast it out. Sometimes
- 32:30Speaker 2: you can become the enabler a man. You could become
- 32:37Speaker 2: the enabler because of your attitude, because you tolerate it.
- 32:41Speaker 2: People think that they're right, people think that they're okay.
- 32:46Speaker 2: But if they see you shut them down, it might hurt,
- 32:49Speaker 2: but it's an act of love. Our next takeaway is
- 32:54Speaker 2: repentance is God's gifts. Don't waste it. Jezebel wasted it.
- 33:00Speaker 2: She had the opportunity and she thought. I don't know
- 33:03Speaker 2: what she thought. I don't know what she was on.
- 33:06Speaker 2: She thought it was going to be there forever. We
- 33:09Speaker 2: only have this side of eternity. Don't go into eternity
- 33:14Speaker 2: wishing that you would have repented, because you can't do it.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Repentant repentance is only for a season, a period. Just
- 33:24Speaker 2: like he gave Josep Bell a timeframe in with which
- 33:28Speaker 2: she can repent, He's given that to us, to the world.
- 33:33Speaker 2: The world only has a certain time, a certain season
- 33:38Speaker 2: to repent, and that season will be over. The next
- 33:44Speaker 2: takeaway is hold fast leads to eternal rewards. Holding fast,
- 33:54Speaker 2: I should say it leads to eternal rewards. God will
- 33:58Speaker 2: reward those who stay faithful. He's not gonna put any
- 34:02Speaker 2: other burdens on us. He just wants us to hold
- 34:04Speaker 2: on to what we have and our next our last
- 34:09Speaker 2: takeaway is faithfulness matters more than popularity in culture. Faithfulness
- 34:18Speaker 2: matters more than popularity in culture.
- 34:23Speaker 5: Right.
- 34:24Speaker 2: It says that just Jezebel's spirit influences God's servants. But
- 34:31Speaker 2: if you want to be faithful, if you I mean
- 34:33Speaker 2: not faithful, but popular in culture, then they're gonna want
- 34:38Speaker 2: you to sell your soul.
- 34:43Speaker 5: For that.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Popularity is not worth it. Amen, all right, belove it.
- 34:47Speaker 2: I hope you guys are getting something out of this.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Let's go ahead and take a quick music break. We're
- 34:57Speaker 2: gonna put on some wings right now and man and
- 35:01Speaker 2: we will be right back after this music. The pain,
- 35:06Speaker 2: uh tre mean long is the artist, and let's jump into.
- 35:11Speaker 5: It, y'all.
- 35:13Speaker 3: I've been down it out, count it out and talk
- 35:17Speaker 3: about it.
- 35:19Speaker 6: I've been beating on and cheating on. I'm trying to
- 35:24Speaker 6: stay strong. Man, just fight, but I'm lonely night. I
- 35:31Speaker 6: don't know why I don't know.
- 35:32Speaker 3: I don't know what to do.
- 35:34Speaker 6: I'm stung up in my head, his eyes turning in
- 35:37Speaker 6: the truth.
- 35:39Speaker 3: This is why I'm cold. And on your load to
- 35:43Speaker 3: pull me through, to pull me through. How you're doing
- 35:49Speaker 3: a dude? Fly, put on your wings and just fly

- 38:19Speaker 4: Work man, man. I was getting lost into that one.
- 38:38Speaker 2: That was a good one. That one kind of ended
- 38:41Speaker 2: early on me. Oh come on now, encourage yourself by

- 39:00Speaker 4: We love to do what we do for the Lord.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Amen. So we're talking about the corrupt church, the Church
- 39:09Speaker 2: of Thia Tyra. Right now, we're gonna go into our
- 39:12Speaker 2: next segment. And as I said, as we go through
- 39:16Speaker 2: this book, these sessions are gonna be long, right, but
- 39:21Speaker 2: stick with us.
- 39:21Speaker 4: I believe it's gonna be worth it. We're a little
- 39:24Speaker 4: longer than thirty minutes is going to all pay off
- 39:29Speaker 4: in the end.
- 39:30Speaker 2: If you stick with us. Amen.
- 39:34Speaker 5: All right, So.
- 39:36Speaker 2: We're at the joke of the day, the joke of
- 39:39Speaker 2: the day, and we like to the Bible says that
- 39:42Speaker 2: laughter is like medicine for the soul, so we like
- 39:47Speaker 2: to get some giggles out there, some chuckles. We also
- 39:52Speaker 2: like to warn you that most of these jokes are corny.
- 39:56Speaker 2: But they're corny funny sometimes and sometimes they're funny. Coin
- 40:03Speaker 2: But here's the joke. I think this is a good one.
- 40:08Speaker 5: Why didn't.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Or excuse me, why don't skeletons fight each other. Why
- 40:18Speaker 2: don't skeletons fight one another? If you think you know
- 40:26Speaker 2: the answer, go ahead and post it in a live chat.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Why don't skeletons fight one another? Y'all ready for the answer,
- 40:36Speaker 2: Because they don't.
- 40:37Speaker 5: Have the guts, get it?
- 40:42Speaker 2: They don't have the guts?
- 40:46Speaker 5: All right? I kind of like that one.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you can borrow that if you want to. Hey man,
- 40:51Speaker 2: all right, let's keep it pushing their c H news
- 40:54Speaker 2: right here. We want to talk about what's going on
- 40:56Speaker 2: in our genre and also highlight a few things about

- 41:19Speaker 4: My brother is breaking some charts out there.
- 41:22Speaker 2: And also, if you have a project, if you have

- 44:30Speaker 2: I want to say is this, let's break that myth.
- 44:35Speaker 5: Right.
- 44:36Speaker 2: I don't know anyone has ever seen that show MythBusters,
- 44:41Speaker 2: but let's break the myth that all the churches are corrupted.
- 44:45Speaker 2: There's hypocrites in the church.
- 44:47Speaker 5: Why join?
- 44:49Speaker 2: You don't need church to serve God. If flip it
- 44:52Speaker 2: attitude about church, we can see right, here the importance
- 44:56Speaker 2: of church. God's attitude about it places extreme importance on
- 45:02Speaker 2: his church. Jesus died for the church and gave his
- 45:07Speaker 2: life for the church. We are the bride of Christ.
- 45:17Speaker 2: How much more should we dedicate that you in our
- 45:23Speaker 2: lives to building Jesus's bride. Building up, don't tear down,
- 45:33Speaker 2: don't be a Jezebel, don't come against and be in
- 45:37Speaker 2: ops against the Church the very move of God. People
- 45:41Speaker 2: have done so, and the people have hurt themselves doing it.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Let's bring dignity back to the church. A man, we
- 45:54Speaker 2: can do that. Heaven Father, help us to remain faithful
- 46:05Speaker 2: and pure, remove the spirit of compromise from our lives
- 46:10Speaker 2: and the church. Help us to hold fast until you come.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Strengthen every weary heart, and give us holy boldness to
- 46:21Speaker 2: speak truth in love. Oh yeah, it's in Jesus' name.
- 46:28Speaker 5: Amen it ainmen.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Well, you've been listening to his Hot radio show with
- 46:35Speaker 2: your boy mister his Hot, Stay bold, stay true, stay
- 46:39Speaker 2: Kingdom until next time, Peace, purpose and power.
- 46:47Speaker 4: And I'm gonna close out like I always do. It's
- 46:51Speaker 4: not about us, It's all about the Christ in us.
- 46:55Speaker 4: To meet us here at eleven o'clock
- 47:00Speaker 5: And
