- 0:22Speaker 1: Salving, California, on a fabulous farm with some of our
- 0:27Speaker 1: farmers from Farmer Wants a Wife and incredible it's an
- 0:32Speaker 1: incredible farm. And sitting between us right now is Farmer
- 0:35Speaker 1: Matt from season three and we are going to kick
- 0:39Speaker 1: it off and.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Wait, can we just wish him a happy birthday weekend?
- 0:44Speaker 3: Right?
- 0:44Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 0:45Speaker 2: Tomorrow it'll be twenty one, twenty one years.
- 0:49Speaker 1: He's going to be thirty two, which is amazing because
- 0:51Speaker 1: I turned thirty four the next week after that. So
- 0:54Speaker 1: we're just always celebrating birthdays. Or how about you, how
- 0:56Speaker 1: about the fieldest one in the room always happened?
- 1:02Speaker 4: Maybe I could give you guys some advice.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Okay, so on with that in mind, something really interesting
- 1:09Speaker 1: to note here is that Farmer Wants a Wife is
- 1:11Speaker 1: the biggest dating show in the world. It has aired
- 1:15Speaker 1: in thirty two countries and resulted in two hundred and
- 1:18Speaker 1: twenty six marriages, and after I finished, it's going to
- 1:21Speaker 1: be two hundred and twenty seven and five hundred and
- 1:23Speaker 1: sixty five babies with four more on the way. Again,
- 1:27Speaker 1: I'll pass on that. Of those, they must be doing
- 1:29Speaker 1: something right. So let's got what do you say.
- 1:35Speaker 2: The for those numbers are incredible and their bananas and
- 1:39Speaker 2: I don't there's a part of me that doesn't really
- 1:41Speaker 2: believe them. I feel like maybe they're they've added those
- 1:44Speaker 2: numbers to make it seem I iced to think that too. Right, Well,
- 1:48Speaker 2: we'll get your roster. Yeah, I would like I would
- 1:51Speaker 2: like name by name, experience by experience. So you were
- 1:55Speaker 2: on last season, and first of all, like, did okay,
- 2:02Speaker 2: did you really come on the show looking for a wife?
- 2:06Speaker 4: Yeah? Absolutely, Well there's you know, being thirty two, I'm
- 2:10Speaker 4: get in my thirties. Yeah, I would like to view
- 2:13Speaker 4: it somebody.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Sure.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Yeah, And I you know, at the time they approached it.
- 2:16Speaker 2: To choose, like, yeah, I want to be with someone,
- 2:19Speaker 2: so I think I'm going to go on a reality
- 2:20Speaker 2: show and I mean the same thing. Why why do
- 2:24Speaker 2: you giving them a hard time? I'm just asking It
- 2:27Speaker 2: just seems like because you're young, and that just seems
- 2:30Speaker 2: like a like an interesting step to take.
- 2:33Speaker 4: It was Yeah, I'm glad it did it. It wasn't
- 2:35Speaker 4: something I sought out, they approached me.
- 2:38Speaker 2: So you didn't consider other dating shows?
- 2:40Speaker 4: No, I never thought I would do something like that
- 2:42Speaker 4: in my life. You know, I don't really watch a
- 2:45Speaker 4: lot of reality TV, but I would you know, seen
- 2:47Speaker 4: clips and that not for me.
- 2:48Speaker 2: So what did your family? What did your family say?
- 2:51Speaker 4: They were so excited. My parents actually were fans of
- 2:53Speaker 4: the show before I have ever been heard of it. Okay,
- 2:56Speaker 4: so when I got reached out to, my whole family
- 2:58Speaker 4: was very excited, forced me to do it.
- 3:01Speaker 2: And and how how was that experience? You met someone
- 3:06Speaker 2: on the show? Right? That was?
- 3:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it's wild. I mean, yeah. One one of the
- 3:11Speaker 4: things that I tell people about this show probably different
- 3:13Speaker 4: than any others. There's a lot of things. But they
- 3:15Speaker 4: film in your home. So we're here on Shawn's ranch today.
- 3:18Speaker 4: I mean, the girls are living here, which is wild.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Normally you fly off to some tropical location, which I
- 3:23Speaker 4: thought it nice too, But it's weird to have like
- 3:27Speaker 4: a huge film crew and all these women and everything
- 3:29Speaker 4: in your own territory in your home. That's not okay.
- 3:33Speaker 2: And this is a very interesting representation of a farm,
- 3:36Speaker 2: like this is not this is pretty badass. Yeah, it's
- 3:40Speaker 2: I could live here and I'm not a farmer at all.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I grew up in New England and this does
- 3:45Speaker 1: not represent any kind of farm I.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Grew up and this is gorgeous, but it's it's fabous.
- 3:50Speaker 2: But I want to know.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I want to get back to your family. So what
- 3:53Speaker 1: kind of filmly did you grow up in? Like, when
- 3:55Speaker 1: it came to your parents' relationship, what was your example
- 3:58Speaker 1: of marriage?
- 3:58Speaker 2: What were you looking for?
- 4:00Speaker 4: I couldn't have been any better, And I think in
- 4:01Speaker 4: some ways when I was younger, I didn't realize how
- 4:03Speaker 4: good I had it. My parents have been married about
- 4:05Speaker 4: forty six years. My grandparents were married fifty something years.
- 4:08Speaker 4: No pressure, Yeah, I know, right. I have three siblings
- 4:11Speaker 4: that are all married with kids, and so you know
- 4:14Speaker 4: in our family there's just there isn't any divorce or
- 4:17Speaker 4: any of that. And so I had such good examples,
- 4:19Speaker 4: but these days things are a little different out there,
- 4:22Speaker 4: and so you know, it's.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Well again, then let's circle back to and then you
- 4:27Speaker 2: took the risk of coming and doing it here you
- 4:29Speaker 2: were like this. Yeah, it's like the representation of relationships
- 4:34Speaker 2: in my life has been pretty strong. Yeah, I'm going
- 4:36Speaker 2: to come on a reality show I feel like this
- 4:39Speaker 2: is going to be where I find my partner for life.
- 4:42Speaker 4: I like to do things a little different.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Do you believe in love att first sight?
- 4:45Speaker 4: No, I don't think so. I think you can see
- 4:47Speaker 4: someone and be pretty interested. I mean might change my mind,
- 4:53Speaker 4: but yeah, it's a wild thing to do. But I
- 4:55Speaker 4: will say I did my research on the show, and
- 4:57Speaker 4: my parents had seen it, and this show is different
- 5:00Speaker 4: than any other dating show. I think a lot of
- 5:03Speaker 4: the you know, in my opinion, eighty five percent of
- 5:06Speaker 4: the cast, whether it was Girls on My Farm or
- 5:08Speaker 4: the other guys was, were all actually there for genuine reasons,
- 5:11Speaker 4: which I didn't really expect. To me, There's to be
- 5:13Speaker 4: a lot more of people there for the clout and
- 5:15Speaker 4: all that, but.
- 5:15Speaker 2: You would assume that everybody's showing up. It's that part
- 5:18Speaker 2: of like I want to be on a show.
- 5:19Speaker 4: And to make a lot of the shows that we
- 5:22Speaker 4: see are like that, right, and so this one's not
- 5:24Speaker 4: that way. I think it's pretty genuine and it is
- 5:26Speaker 4: pretty real and a lot of the cast, you know,
- 5:27Speaker 4: I would say, majority are faith based people who really
- 5:31Speaker 4: there to meet somebody. I mean, I was pretty shocked.
- 5:33Speaker 4: I'd say all almost all of the girls that I
- 5:35Speaker 4: had selected were very genuine.
- 5:38Speaker 2: So what was your What was the trait?
- 5:40Speaker 1: Obviously you're looking for a woman who you know wants
- 5:42Speaker 1: to move here and be your wife and give you
- 5:44Speaker 1: twenty six children?
- 5:45Speaker 2: But what was the trade thirty children?
- 5:50Speaker 1: I was just accounting for, maybe, you know, the slow start.
- 5:54Speaker 2: What's the trait, the underlying traite?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Obviously you want pretty, you want to attract me, you
- 5:58Speaker 1: want smart, you want somebody's be a great mom and
- 6:00Speaker 1: all that. Now give me something else. What's that hidden trait,
- 6:04Speaker 1: that hidden gem that you're looking for.
- 6:06Speaker 4: I think in today's dating climate, it's pretty rough out there.
- 6:09Speaker 4: There's the people's morals are just not what they used
- 6:13Speaker 4: to be, and people are there for a lot of
- 6:14Speaker 4: other reasons. I think it's just comes down to Loyalty
- 6:19Speaker 4: is a big part of it, but just really how
- 6:23Speaker 4: someone operates out other than being with me. It's not
- 6:26Speaker 4: just about us, It's like, how are you as a
- 6:28Speaker 4: person in general? Yeah? You know, what do you do
- 6:31Speaker 4: and no one's looking?
- 6:32Speaker 2: How's your sure that someone's always looking?
- 6:35Speaker 3: Usually?
- 6:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I find out, well, especially when you're on a
- 6:39Speaker 4: show like this, Yeah, everybody much?
- 6:42Speaker 1: Yeah, Wow, what's your biggest turn off in dating. I'm
- 6:46Speaker 1: writing a book here, I need to know.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Well, I don't know a lot of things. I think
- 6:51Speaker 4: it's how you treat other people, because I've dated girls
- 6:53Speaker 4: in the past that maybe to me they're great and
- 6:56Speaker 4: it's all fun, but then you're kind of seeing how
- 6:57Speaker 4: they're talking about their friends, or how they interact with
- 7:00Speaker 4: family or a waiter or whatever it is. So you
- 7:02Speaker 4: got to keep an eye out for that.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Is that your biggest dick?
- 7:06Speaker 4: I would say that's up there. Yeah, someone mistreating someone else.
- 7:09Speaker 4: It's not how I operate.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So wow, hmmm, Well, now we have to get down
- 7:14Speaker 1: to the So I'm I'm single and dating this.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Guy, but I'm working on him. She's She's been trying
- 7:22Speaker 2: to get drinks in me all morning and I'm like, no, So,
- 7:25Speaker 2: are you.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Open to dating divorced women? Are you to dating older women?
- 7:29Speaker 1: Tell me your I mean, you are just.
- 7:34Speaker 2: On the couch and I could sit closer to you.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Welcome, Let's make sure we get pretty even right now. Yeah,
- 7:42Speaker 4: I have date dated someone in the past is divorced
- 7:45Speaker 4: that had children already, So yeah, it would be open
- 7:47Speaker 4: to it. You know, it just depends on the situation.
- 7:52Speaker 2: You forgot the second part of the question. Is it
- 7:54Speaker 2: older women? Oh, you don't have to answer that. You
- 7:58Speaker 2: don't have to answer that. I didn't say me. I'm
- 8:00Speaker 2: just going to take the heat off of you right now.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I want you to feel comfortable sitting on this couch. Okay?
- 8:07Speaker 2: Can we so this? So this was brought to our
- 8:10Speaker 2: attention earlier? Can we talk a little bit about Chelsea?
- 8:14Speaker 1: Is that?
- 8:14Speaker 2: Okay?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Sure?
- 8:16Speaker 4: What do you want that?
- 8:17Speaker 2: Sure? I was so that. So Chelsea is who you
- 8:21Speaker 2: ended up with, right? And I heard recently that that
- 8:26Speaker 2: you guys that you no longer follow her.
- 8:30Speaker 1: You don't follow her on Instagram and she doesn't follow you,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and there's no limit to the number of people you
- 8:33Speaker 1: can follow.
- 8:34Speaker 2: So spill what happened.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Yes, you know, in a nutshell, we did date for
- 8:40Speaker 4: a while after the show, and uh, I think we
- 8:43Speaker 4: liked each other. It was just it didn't pan out,
- 8:45Speaker 4: and not for any particular reason. Friends, Oh, I would
- 8:50Speaker 4: use that word. She's a She's a great person of nothing,
- 8:53Speaker 4: not a single bad thing is Where is she from?
- 8:55Speaker 4: She is from Texas? I thought so aware, ye small town?
- 8:59Speaker 2: What do you mean you thought so?
- 9:00Speaker 1: Because I get around Dallas you're not gonna believe this.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I know her really, no, right, you tell.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Me exactly she said, you're not going to believe.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You just wanted to see you squirm and it worked.
- 9:14Speaker 1: So are you into square dancing or line dancing? Because
- 9:17Speaker 1: I had to learn it when I moved to Texas.
- 9:19Speaker 4: No, I don't fall around with that stuff. You don't
- 9:20Speaker 4: dance trying to get me to do that on the
- 9:22Speaker 4: show actually one of the episodes, and I refused, you cannot.
- 9:25Speaker 4: I'm more of a free dancer, you know, after like
- 9:27Speaker 4: ten dranks, maybe I'll get not just kind of like in.
- 9:30Speaker 2: A circle like it. Yeah, you and everybody moving into
- 9:34Speaker 2: kill over.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Yeah. Not a big choreograph dancer.
- 9:38Speaker 2: All right.
- 9:39Speaker 1: So I'm asking for a friend. If a woman is
- 9:42Speaker 1: a bad kisser, is that a turn off or something
- 9:45Speaker 1: you can work with?
- 9:46Speaker 4: Oh boy, you know, it's a lot more about a
- 9:50Speaker 4: lot of other things said.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Get out of here, Come on now. No, kissing is
- 9:55Speaker 2: a big. Kissing is a.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Big I think there's chemistry with somebody, you know, there is.
- 9:59Speaker 2: There's no nothing that takes you out of a situation.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Keep talking. Then bad kissing, Yeah, a bad kisser of course,
- 10:08Speaker 2: because it pulls you completely. For me, it pulls you
- 10:11Speaker 2: completely out of the moment. There have been times where
- 10:14Speaker 2: I've thought, oh, this is really this could be something,
- 10:16Speaker 2: and then the kiss was bad, and it's like breaks,
- 10:19Speaker 2: what if she was great in bad? Doesn't it? Well?
- 10:21Speaker 2: You don't want to This is iHeart, man, this is
- 10:26Speaker 2: how we do it. I told you I'm tired. I am.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I'm on the dating scene.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I'm getting I'm using you guys to get all the
- 10:32Speaker 1: information we Okay, yeah.
- 10:34Speaker 4: I'm just a small, humble farmer. I don't kiss and
- 10:38Speaker 4: tell Oh.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Come on, now, he doesn't kiss and tell them. He
- 10:42Speaker 2: doesn't dance. I mean.
- 10:45Speaker 4: You well, I didn't say did you grow avocados?
- 10:48Speaker 2: Come on, there's gotta be more than that. Yeah, are
- 10:50Speaker 2: you dating qualities?
- 10:52Speaker 4: I've dated around a little bit.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Okay, are you like an English major? Just it's yes
- 10:57Speaker 1: or no? Are you dating now?
- 10:59Speaker 4: I've been dating.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I have been.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I like, let's use can use the subjunctive. I would
- 11:08Speaker 1: date if.
- 11:09Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, there's this whole year has been a whirlwind,
- 11:12Speaker 4: as you can imagine afterwards.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Jesus.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Yeah, and so I'm just trying to make sure I'm
- 11:17Speaker 4: in a good position to be with somebody else, because
- 11:19Speaker 4: there's a lot Like one thing you don't realize maybe
- 11:22Speaker 4: is there's a lot of stuff that comes along with
- 11:25Speaker 4: being on a dating show.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Yeah, for some reason, pressure all of a sudden. I'm
- 11:28Speaker 2: sure when you go out, people go well that and.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Then you know someone got to see you, you know,
- 11:33Speaker 4: get a bunch of other people and said as their
- 11:35Speaker 4: family and all that kind of stuff.
- 11:36Speaker 2: So it could happen to anyone morally. How was that
- 11:39Speaker 2: for you having so many women and going through that.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I tried my best to dating them all at the
- 11:46Speaker 2: same time.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Yeah, that was weird. It was harder than I thought
- 11:49Speaker 4: because I think I didn't realize how real it was
- 11:52Speaker 4: going to be. Yeah, so then a lot of people
- 11:54Speaker 4: were really invested emotionally.
- 11:56Speaker 2: So were you invested emotionally with more than one woman?
- 11:59Speaker 1: Uh?
- 12:00Speaker 4: Yeah, I think.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I knew it was going to be Chelsea from the beginning.
- 12:05Speaker 4: I don't know from the beginning. There was such a whirlwind.
- 12:08Speaker 4: There's so much going on. I think probably halfway through
- 12:10Speaker 4: I realized that that was going to be the case.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Wow, And so how long does the season last?
- 12:15Speaker 4: Like, how long are you filming?
- 12:17Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:17Speaker 4: The filming was about five weeks. But it felt like
- 12:19Speaker 4: six months. Yeah, it's an intense like it was. I
- 12:22Speaker 4: think we had an intense five weeks. I think we
- 12:23Speaker 4: had two days off in the five weeks. And you're
- 12:25Speaker 4: filming all day nine am to ten pm sometimes.
- 12:27Speaker 2: And are they picking all of the activities and the
- 12:29Speaker 2: things that you do?
- 12:30Speaker 4: And they let me have a lot of creative freedom
- 12:32Speaker 4: with like dates and that kind of thing. So they
- 12:34Speaker 4: would kind of like set things up around what I
- 12:36Speaker 4: wanted to do or things I like to do, which
- 12:37Speaker 4: was pretty cool.
- 12:38Speaker 2: That's great. Yeah, what was your best date? What were
- 12:42Speaker 2: you doing? I mean.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Best date? Are you doing good one?
- 12:48Speaker 2: What was I we'll get your mind out of the
- 12:50Speaker 2: gut or bots. You're the one that said it. It
- 12:53Speaker 2: wasn't me, Like what.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Were you doing?
- 12:57Speaker 2: You sort of sad? Why? Seeding a baby goat? Picking
- 13:02Speaker 2: a nova? Connor specific?
- 13:04Speaker 4: It was fun. It was really fun, like the group
- 13:06Speaker 4: kind of dates with all the girls because we got
- 13:09Speaker 4: like shut myself on the foot on that one. You
- 13:14Speaker 4: know what I meant, I did? It was a blast.
- 13:17Speaker 4: I mean we're out there on my pharm and these
- 13:19Speaker 4: girls are all picking avocados.
- 13:20Speaker 2: I was going to say my show group dates sucked.
- 13:22Speaker 4: So yeah, that was a blast, and I really liked
- 13:24Speaker 4: all the girls even besides, like in a dating way.
- 13:26Speaker 4: It was fun having them all there. They were neat people.
- 13:29Speaker 4: I'm friends with a lot of them still.
- 13:30Speaker 1: So so what's the biggest misconception then about farmers from.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Just farmers in general across across the board.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I mean, I would say farmers that are in there,
- 13:40Speaker 1: I would assume that, like a peanut farmer is very different.
- 13:44Speaker 4: There's a really there's a really big range. Like me
- 13:47Speaker 4: and some of the guys got a lot of hate
- 13:48Speaker 4: afterwards and like they're not a real farmer.
- 13:50Speaker 2: You're you're not growing correctly.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Yeah, well, people think of a farmer and they think
- 13:55Speaker 4: of a small town Midwest like hardworking guy out there
- 13:58Speaker 4: on a tractor all day. And that is the case
- 14:00Speaker 4: a lot of people. But like for us, we don't
- 14:02Speaker 4: operate that way. We can't. We have to have labor
- 14:05Speaker 4: crews and different piece it's more like management and stuff.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Like getting at this place absolutely brings that tol like,
- 14:11Speaker 2: oh this is there's not one guy running all of this.
- 14:14Speaker 2: This is like you have a crew and he's making coffees.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a big range, that's.
- 14:18Speaker 2: What he does Now, I really love making coffee. You're
- 14:23Speaker 2: all about the coffee and you're all about the vodkast.
- 14:25Speaker 2: So between the two of us, listen, them's fighting words.
- 14:28Speaker 2: You and I are going at.
- 14:28Speaker 4: It, but just settle on an espresso marchini.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Matt, Now you really do want an older woman because
- 14:35Speaker 1: that's one of my drinks.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Okay.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I have a question that people ask me all the time.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I was on Golden Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise. Did
- 14:42Speaker 1: not find love on either one? Because what are you
- 14:45Speaker 1: looking at? Slash Kathy and Matt walks off into the sunset. Hi, kids,
- 14:55Speaker 1: I'm not coming home. I'm picking avocados in California. See
- 15:01Speaker 1: it was coming from reality TV one way or the other.
- 15:04Speaker 1: That's that's why you're.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:16Speaker 1: I want to know, seriously that what did you learn
- 15:18Speaker 1: about yourself? I get asked this all the time. What
- 15:20Speaker 1: did you learn about yourself? Did you change? It's like
- 15:24Speaker 1: a multifaceted question. Do you think of yourself differently? All
- 15:27Speaker 1: those things?
- 15:27Speaker 2: Now?
- 15:28Speaker 4: I don't think of myself differently at all. It's been
- 15:30Speaker 4: a really amazing experience. I've made a lot of good
- 15:33Speaker 4: friends out of it, which is really cool. I think
- 15:36Speaker 4: I now, going through all this stuff and all this
- 15:40Speaker 4: I'm just like, Okay, I know what i want. Like,
- 15:41Speaker 4: I'm not gonna do you want?
- 15:43Speaker 2: What do you want? Oh?
- 15:44Speaker 4: I want to be now you know what I want
- 15:47Speaker 4: to be with my wife, whoever that may be. But
- 15:50Speaker 4: I am really looking at someone's morals at this point,
- 15:53Speaker 4: not just you know, not just looks.
- 15:55Speaker 2: The fun. The heat coming off of this end of
- 15:56Speaker 2: the couch is like unbelievable. Just tell me, this is
- 16:00Speaker 2: an air conditioned room.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Let me just tell you something. I will get you back.
- 16:06Speaker 1: This day is not over, No, it's not.
- 16:08Speaker 2: It's gonna be a long day.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:11Speaker 1: So okay, so you really are seriously looking. I mean
- 16:14Speaker 1: because I'm a mother of three and you're a little
- 16:18Speaker 1: younger than my youngest child. So I could adopt you
- 16:23Speaker 1: or I could date you.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Yeah, one of the two.
- 16:25Speaker 2: But but I.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Would say, you know, thirty two, you could, you could,
- 16:29Speaker 1: you could shop around for a while.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Good.
- 16:31Speaker 4: I don't want to though. Yeah, I think after all
- 16:34Speaker 4: this experience, there's a blast. Obviously getting attention from girls
- 16:38Speaker 4: is the worst thing. But I'm really looking. I would
- 16:42Speaker 4: get fooled before a lot when I was younger and
- 16:43Speaker 4: looks and all this, you know, having fun and all that,
- 16:46Speaker 4: but I think you come to realize like that, if
- 16:48Speaker 4: you're not with someone who respects you and has the
- 16:52Speaker 4: same morals and cares about your family or that, just
- 16:54Speaker 4: it's just not gonna work. It might be fun for
- 16:56Speaker 4: a little bit, but.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Oh, I love I'm serious that.
- 16:59Speaker 1: As a mom, I love hearing that because that's what
- 17:02Speaker 1: you want for your children. You want them to realize
- 17:04Speaker 1: that there's so much more. I was married almost forty
- 17:07Speaker 1: six years before my husband passed away, and marriage is
- 17:11Speaker 1: an easy and so I love hearing you say that.
- 17:13Speaker 4: You're no, I mean, it's there's gonna be a lot
- 17:16Speaker 4: of tough stuff you go through no matter what. And
- 17:17Speaker 4: so you don't want someone that's.
- 17:19Speaker 2: I don't know, somebody's good looking at you. How tough
- 17:21Speaker 2: can it be? Really?
- 17:22Speaker 4: Well, it's it's not about that though, yeah, but yeah,
- 17:32Speaker 4: just I'm looking way past all that stuff now.
- 17:34Speaker 1: All right, So I have one more question for you,
- 17:37Speaker 1: and then you're taking it away because I know you
- 17:39Speaker 1: have a lot. What advice do you have for the
- 17:42Speaker 1: farmers from you know, from Brayden and Sean and Brett
- 17:46Speaker 1: Season four Farmers.
- 17:47Speaker 4: I'm excited for those guys. I got to talk to
- 17:49Speaker 4: Sean quite a bit. He called me before filming a
- 17:52Speaker 4: couple of times, yeah, during and after, and so I
- 17:56Speaker 4: try to give him as much information as I could
- 17:58Speaker 4: possibly advice that I had, but I would just say,
- 18:01Speaker 4: you know, have fun with this. Is that once in
- 18:03Speaker 4: a lifetime experience. Not a lot of people get to
- 18:05Speaker 4: do this.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Had you ever met any of these guys before this, No,
- 18:08Speaker 2: not at all. So they reached down and they were like, hey,
- 18:11Speaker 2: you were on this show, Like we need just a
- 18:12Speaker 2: little inside information.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, to expect to man, it's crazy and
- 18:16Speaker 4: they don't give you a lot of information going into it,
- 18:18Speaker 4: and they give you an idea, but you don't know
- 18:19Speaker 4: how it's going to be day to day, and so
- 18:22Speaker 4: mostly just have fun with it. It's really easy to
- 18:24Speaker 4: get like in your head and get like, you know,
- 18:26Speaker 4: locked into this whole thing, you know, but just have fun.
- 18:29Speaker 4: And I think that the real dating comes after the show,
- 18:33Speaker 4: Like once you choose that girl, everything kind of fades
- 18:36Speaker 4: and the cameras are gone.
- 18:37Speaker 2: So how did it change for you?
- 18:39Speaker 4: Which which part?
- 18:40Speaker 1: Well, when you say I agree with you, not that
- 18:43Speaker 1: I would know. I've never been chosen, But this's my time's.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Coming to get there. We'll get there.
- 18:49Speaker 1: But seriously, I imagine being in that bubble. How does
- 18:53Speaker 1: how is it so different when you come off the show?
- 18:56Speaker 4: Well, it was wild. Like me and the other guys
- 18:58Speaker 4: were traveling around the country journalist press, media stuff. We're
- 19:01Speaker 4: going to these big events and there's girls that are
- 19:03Speaker 4: chasing you around, asking for photos and a lot of stuff,
- 19:05Speaker 4: and you know, you get kind of caught up in
- 19:06Speaker 4: it for a second, like this is pretty fun. But
- 19:10Speaker 4: besides all of that, that's just not gonna last. You know,
- 19:13Speaker 4: that's a fun experience, but it's nothing to do with
- 19:14Speaker 4: a real relationship. So right, I think, in my opinion,
- 19:19Speaker 4: the show gets you to the point where you can
- 19:21Speaker 4: learn enough about these girls where you can pick someone
- 19:24Speaker 4: that you think it's going to work with, and then
- 19:26Speaker 4: from there the real process starts. It takes time you start.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Really dating, because you're not dating here, no.
- 19:31Speaker 4: I mean you're getting to know somebody. But in five weeks,
- 19:34Speaker 4: I mean, there's a lot more to learn. It takes time,
- 19:37Speaker 4: you know what. I've just got a brilliant idea. I'm
- 19:39Speaker 4: a producer at heart. When these guys they've chosen apparently.
- 19:44Speaker 4: I mean, the season's going to start airing, why don't
- 19:46Speaker 4: you find out who they didn't choose? You've got you
- 19:50Speaker 4: have twenty seven No, okay, I just thought those are
- 19:54Speaker 4: you know, try to be respectful here.
- 19:56Speaker 2: No sappy seconds for this guy. There's something to that idea, though.
- 20:00Speaker 2: I think that's a good like. I think there's prime Yeah,
- 20:03Speaker 2: I think like there's a there's an after the show
- 20:06Speaker 2: show kind of aspect to that. It could be fun.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Yeah, there's definitely that could happen.
- 20:11Speaker 2: How was it for you going from uh, being on
- 20:15Speaker 2: a farm and having a very sort of simple life
- 20:18Speaker 2: to all of a sudden being within this tornado? Because
- 20:22Speaker 2: that's what these situations are. I mean, you you shoot
- 20:24Speaker 2: this for five weeks and then you go back home,
- 20:27Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden the season airs and
- 20:29Speaker 2: you're back out doing all of this press and all
- 20:31Speaker 2: of this stuff. It's just insane.
- 20:33Speaker 4: It's a roller coaster. I mean, you're living your own
- 20:34Speaker 4: regular life at home, and then one day, like thirty
- 20:37Speaker 4: people roll up in bands and all this equipment and
- 20:39Speaker 4: all this stuff, and all of a sudden you're doing
- 20:41Speaker 4: all this crazy stuff and then you're on the today show,
- 20:43Speaker 4: and then you're flying around with all these Fox folks
- 20:46Speaker 4: doing these different things, and it's it's you know, it's
- 20:49Speaker 4: like a real high high. And then you come home
- 20:51Speaker 4: the next day and then you're sitting there by yourself, right, yeah,
- 20:54Speaker 4: what just happened? You're doing that kind of back and forth.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Well, you're on the red carpet one day and you're
- 20:59Speaker 2: shoveling barn the next.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, you know, it's really funny and funny story.
- 21:03Speaker 4: So me and John from the show, somehow we worked
- 21:04Speaker 4: our way onto the red carpet at the acmwards and
- 21:07Speaker 4: we're getting our photos taken. We're next to like all
- 21:10Speaker 4: these you know, Alan Jackson and all these like famous guys,
- 21:13Speaker 4: and we're like pinching ourselves. And then we didn't get
- 21:16Speaker 4: the right credentials for some reason, someone messed up or whatever.
- 21:18Speaker 4: And then we leave the red carpet and they wouldn't
- 21:20Speaker 4: even let us into like the event. They like to
- 21:22Speaker 4: know who we were, and.
- 21:26Speaker 2: We're in the high and the lowest lows.
- 21:30Speaker 4: I swear, just on the red carpet with the guys performing.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Please see the pictures that we were taking. You saw me? Yeah, yeah,
- 21:39Speaker 2: I don't wear these boots just anywhere.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so now that you are, now that you
- 21:44Speaker 1: are becoming an older man at the ripe age of
- 21:48Speaker 1: almost thirty two, godfriends, give me for saying this.
- 21:52Speaker 2: What's the birthday plan? What are you doing?
- 21:55Speaker 4: You know what I'm trying to do this year usually
- 21:56Speaker 4: go out and throw a big party all stuff, but
- 21:58Speaker 4: turning my address. Yeah you there tomorrow.
- 22:03Speaker 2: No, I.
- 22:05Speaker 4: I have nine nieces and nephews and try to take
- 22:08Speaker 4: them all camping.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Seriously, that's cool, that's cool.
- 22:13Speaker 4: That would be a cool memory.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Women will love that, seriously, that you are take care of.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Your men will love that. Like. That is not that
- 22:21Speaker 2: he doesn't want man. No, I'm not saying because he
- 22:23Speaker 2: wants men. I'm saying, like, that's a cool my my son,
- 22:26Speaker 2: my who just turned twelve. That's like he wants to
- 22:29Speaker 2: go camping to bring like three. It's a destination thing.
- 22:35Speaker 2: It's very It's an experience. I I that's cool.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I've done all this really cool stuff,
- 22:40Speaker 4: crazy experiences no one will ever get. In my opinion,
- 22:43Speaker 4: that's I'd rather be doing that.
- 22:44Speaker 2: You know, so you really are a family guy. Yeah,
- 22:47Speaker 2: for sure. It's the simple things that Yeah, you're at
- 22:50Speaker 2: the right place. You're on a farm.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I like it. I Sean will let me move in.
- 22:56Speaker 2: That was amazing having you here. Thank you. Farmer Matt.
- 22:59Speaker 2: How does that feel first name being farmer? Now? We
- 23:02Speaker 2: talked about this before.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Yeah, you know what, I'll never live it down amongst
- 23:06Speaker 4: my family.
- 23:07Speaker 2: You've embraced it.
- 23:08Speaker 4: I've embraced it. Yeah, I'll take it. We're happy to
- 23:11Speaker 4: be invited back.
- 23:12Speaker 2: The day talking to some other farmers, some other people
- 23:14Speaker 2: from the show.
- 23:15Speaker 1: We're going to talk with farmer Brett and Farmer Braden
- 23:18Speaker 1: and farmer Sean, and we're gonna touch notes with them and.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Don't take it easy on them, you know.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, to take it easy, not really.
- 23:27Speaker 2: It'll be like putting wrestling and stuff like. It'll be
- 23:30Speaker 2: all sorts of things.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Yeah. I mean, I haven't got to those guys too
- 23:33Speaker 4: well yet, but they seem great and I'm excited for him.
- 23:35Speaker 2: We are thrilled that you came to join on. So
- 23:37Speaker 2: it's a pleasure meeting you.
- 23:39Speaker 1: And yet no, no, okay, so we're back Brian and
- 23:54Speaker 1: Kathy sitting here with Brett, another farmer. We're so excited
- 23:58Speaker 1: to get into it with you here, So I want
- 24:01Speaker 1: the first question for you? What was it about the show
- 24:03Speaker 1: that made you want to take the leap of faith?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Compared to other dating shows that are out there.
- 24:09Speaker 3: I would say the main thing about this show is
- 24:13Speaker 3: that you have a major wholesome component to it. You know,
- 24:18Speaker 3: it's not just about you know, being promiscuous or you know,
- 24:22Speaker 3: seeing what you can do or how many times you
- 24:25Speaker 3: can take your shirt off. This one's more so about
- 24:28Speaker 3: you know, you're bringing people into your hometown. You're trying
- 24:32Speaker 3: to find the right person that fits in with who
- 24:34Speaker 3: you are as a person and going from there. So
- 24:38Speaker 3: you know, I don't think I would have done any
- 24:40Speaker 3: other show other than this one. Really.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Wow, So Brat, you were a bull rider? Did you
- 24:45Speaker 2: ever break any bones?
- 24:47Speaker 3: Yeah, mostly concussions, but broke ribs TOI ligaments my my forearm,
- 24:55Speaker 3: my wrist, and got my legs stepped on a lot.
- 24:58Speaker 3: I'm about six inches two to to be a bull rider.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Can I just tell you I wrote a mechanical bull
- 25:03Speaker 1: once and that ended my bull riding career, just saying.
- 25:06Speaker 3: It's not the riding drinks of falling off it.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 25:12Speaker 1: So I'm curious you mentioned finding the wholesome relationship that
- 25:17Speaker 1: this is a wholesome show. So I'm guessing that you
- 25:20Speaker 1: come from a wholesome family. What kind of wholesome family,
- 25:23Speaker 1: what kind of household did you grow up? And tell
- 25:25Speaker 1: me a little bit about it and your parents' relationship,
- 25:28Speaker 1: because I'm guessing that helped inform what you were looking for.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, well, one grew up in a Christian
- 25:34Speaker 3: household and that's a big part of it. And then
- 25:36Speaker 3: two you, I mean, I think for all of us,
- 25:40Speaker 3: actually we have you kind of model what your parents
- 25:43Speaker 3: do is, as you know, your path to a good relationship,
- 25:47Speaker 3: especially if they have a good relationship. So for me,
- 25:51Speaker 3: it was pretty much just seeing how my parents treated
- 25:55Speaker 3: each other and how they have been in their marriage
- 25:57Speaker 3: my whole life, and you kind of you kind of
- 25:59Speaker 3: learned from them and use that to go on.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Wow, true, that's true. How many times you feel like
- 26:05Speaker 2: you've been like really in love? And I know love
- 26:11Speaker 2: changes as you get older. So now at this point
- 26:13Speaker 2: in life compared to in your twenties, how is it different?
- 26:18Speaker 3: I mean, how many times have I actually been in it?
- 26:20Speaker 3: Probably once one where I you know, I was like,
- 26:24Speaker 3: you know, that's probably going to be it for me,
- 26:27Speaker 3: and I was young. But the older you get, like
- 26:33Speaker 3: you said, it changes and you kind of understand more
- 26:36Speaker 3: about relationships and how they're supposed to feel. And it's
- 26:40Speaker 3: not just what I call being love struck when everything's
- 26:43Speaker 3: great at the moment and then it turns out not
- 26:46Speaker 3: to be so great, like you think you're in love,
- 26:48Speaker 3: but six months down the road, you know it changes.
- 26:52Speaker 3: And so I when I was about my mid twenties,
- 26:54Speaker 3: I had a strict three month th all. So after
- 26:57Speaker 3: about three months is when you start seeing your sales
- 27:00Speaker 3: come out and relationships. So I always gave it three
- 27:04Speaker 3: minds before I decided if that's somebody I actually wanted
- 27:07Speaker 3: a date, or if.
- 27:09Speaker 2: I learned I learned recently that like that not learned recently,
- 27:14Speaker 2: but I like I really understood the concept of it recently.
- 27:18Speaker 2: People always talk about the the honeymoon phase in a relationship.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I honestly think that the honeymoon phase is how long
- 27:27Speaker 2: you can fake it, fake being the person that you
- 27:31Speaker 2: think the other person wants to be with. But then
- 27:34Speaker 2: after a while, of course, like you're gonna you're gonna
- 27:36Speaker 2: get stressed out, You're gonna have a tough day that
- 27:39Speaker 2: all of a sudden that mask comes off and then
- 27:41Speaker 2: it's you, and then that honeymoon phase is over because
- 27:44Speaker 2: now you guys are seeing who you truly are, and
- 27:47Speaker 2: sometimes you don't like who you see. I think it's
- 27:49Speaker 2: I think it's important to start off without that, like
- 27:53Speaker 2: to just jump right in and be who you are. Yeah.
- 27:55Speaker 3: No, I mean I do too. And that's that's a
- 27:57Speaker 3: big thing about this show that I went into it with.
- 28:02Speaker 3: And I told the girls on the first day, I said,
- 28:05Speaker 3: I don't care what you look like with makeup on.
- 28:07Speaker 3: I don't care who you are when cameras are rolling.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I was like, I want to see who you are
- 28:11Speaker 3: when there is nobody around.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Because that's what you're gonna be.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Yeah, because that's what you're gonna get. And so for me,
- 28:18Speaker 3: I like, I wanted to make that a point from
- 28:20Speaker 3: the very beginning to where be yourself around me because
- 28:23Speaker 3: I'm gonna I'm gonna see who you are. We're around
- 28:28Speaker 3: each other all day every day, so I'm going to
- 28:30Speaker 3: figure it out eventually, See, it's better just to do
- 28:33Speaker 3: it now.
- 28:34Speaker 1: And then it's kind of like the dating apps that
- 28:36Speaker 1: I know a lot about. When you go on a
- 28:38Speaker 1: day app and you go to meet a guy and
- 28:40Speaker 1: they're like twenty years older, fifty pounds heavy. You like,
- 28:44Speaker 1: did you think I wouldn't notice? Yeah?
- 28:46Speaker 2: Well do you think I wouldn't meet you? Yeah? Exactly
- 28:50Speaker 2: who you are.
- 28:51Speaker 1: And like somebody said here earlier, say what you mean,
- 28:54Speaker 1: mean what you say, who you are, because that's ultimately
- 28:57Speaker 1: what you're going to fall in my lasting man.
- 29:00Speaker 2: That's right?
- 29:02Speaker 3: Yeah, yourself.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Okay, So those are really really important things for a relationship.
- 29:09Speaker 1: And I admire you that your age, you have figured
- 29:12Speaker 1: it out. I'm really impressed. But now I am from
- 29:17Speaker 1: Texas and I do like tequila, so I know that
- 29:21Speaker 1: you do own how'd you like to that transition? That
- 29:25Speaker 1: a great segment. Okay, So I do love tequila, and
- 29:28Speaker 1: there's nothing better than a tall tequila soda and a
- 29:31Speaker 1: little bit of line. But you do own a tequila, Brandon.
- 29:34Speaker 1: You did say you're going to send me a bottle? Right, Yeah,
- 29:37Speaker 1: so's now been on the podcast, so it will happen.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Yeah, you said it publicly, said it publicly. Yeah, I'll
- 29:44Speaker 3: send you a couple of cases.
- 29:46Speaker 2: A couple of cases.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Wait, they're in the Selier category. It's not a Battle
- 29:50Speaker 3: of tequila. It's a selser category what drink.
- 29:53Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 29:54Speaker 4: I'm in.
- 29:54Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 29:55Speaker 2: I'm in.
- 29:56Speaker 3: That's what can It's.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Less for me to mix.
- 29:59Speaker 3: I love it.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Okay, So here's my question what to go with that
- 30:05Speaker 1: fabulous tequila soda selter? What is your favorite favorite romantic
- 30:11Speaker 1: meal to eat while sipping on one of those selters.
- 30:15Speaker 2: And he's cooking it?
- 30:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean a seltzer in particular.
- 30:21Speaker 2: I don't know, I'm just.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Favorite meal would probably be.
- 30:29Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 30:30Speaker 3: I love Italian food when I can get it. And
- 30:33Speaker 3: if you have your favorite real Italian food, Like, what's
- 30:36Speaker 3: your favorite anything?
- 30:38Speaker 2: Anything Italian is? Well, like there's chicken pacata.
- 30:41Speaker 3: There's chicken Pacata's way up there.
- 30:44Speaker 2: For look at that. Well, too bad, you're already taken
- 30:48Speaker 2: or maybe already taken or could be Italian food. It's
- 30:53Speaker 2: just so simple. Yeah, and it's so good even like
- 30:56Speaker 2: the crappy Italian food I can still do deal with.
- 31:00Speaker 3: I'm going to the redneck answer and said fried catfish.
- 31:04Speaker 1: But can I just tell you Brett fried cat fits.
- 31:07Speaker 1: It's not Italian, No, it's not, but it's southern. It's Okay,
- 31:12Speaker 1: so your most romantic meal is Italian.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Yeah, i'd say so. I'd say so will drinking tequila? Yeah,
- 31:19Speaker 3: why not?
- 31:19Speaker 2: I mean I agree, really I do.
- 31:22Speaker 3: What's your what's your romantic meal?
- 31:25Speaker 2: Oh?
- 31:26Speaker 1: If I'm having a romantic meal, it's going to start
- 31:28Speaker 1: with oysters because they are afrodisia. Yeah, start with that,
- 31:32Speaker 1: and then who cares what you wait.
- 31:36Speaker 2: You can't eat them, Brian can't.
- 31:38Speaker 3: So I'm not big on them either, do you like
- 31:41Speaker 3: not after hearing about them just being sponges.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I just don't know. It's there like slippery stuff.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Huh.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Well, and it's just it's like like it's a it's
- 31:51Speaker 2: a weird, like you taste the ocean. It's a like bin.
- 31:54Speaker 2: I know, I'm not thank you, thank you, Brett. I
- 31:58Speaker 2: like that. I feel loves him. I'll watch or eat
- 32:01Speaker 2: them all day long.
- 32:02Speaker 1: So your true story here. I never had a muscle.
- 32:06Speaker 1: My husband loved oysters, muscles, named some other things clams.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I used to look at them the way you're talking
- 32:12Speaker 1: like that's disgusting. It slippery, God knows words been. We're
- 32:17Speaker 1: literally raftery died of well, you know, everything else gone
- 32:20Speaker 1: to hell. Let's try a muscle and I love them.
- 32:25Speaker 2: You take this thing out of losing a partner, you
- 32:28Speaker 2: really do. Yeah, such a way with words. All right,
- 32:32Speaker 2: So Bratt, real real quick. Last question. Yeah, you're the
- 32:35Speaker 2: oldest farmer on the show. Have you ever gotten close
- 32:39Speaker 2: to getting married before? I mean, what is it that
- 32:42Speaker 2: makes you feel like you might be ready now?
- 32:47Speaker 3: I mean the closest that I've gotten was when I
- 32:51Speaker 3: was twenty twenty twenty one years old, and like I said,
- 32:56Speaker 3: that's you know that really young would be doing something
- 32:59Speaker 3: like that. But I don't know, man, I don't settle,
- 33:03Speaker 3: And uh, this isn't This wasn't me going in desperation
- 33:07Speaker 3: trying to find a why or anything like that. It
- 33:09Speaker 3: was more so of you know what, this is a
- 33:12Speaker 3: good opportunity to meet some people that I'm never that
- 33:14Speaker 3: I would have never met, and you know, if something
- 33:17Speaker 3: great comes out of it, then it's a when. If
- 33:19Speaker 3: something doesn't, I'm gonna go right back to doing what
- 33:21Speaker 3: I was doing.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Right.
- 33:23Speaker 3: No loss, Yeah, there's no there's no way to lose here.
- 33:26Speaker 1: So you wait, you're saying you're a different I mean,
- 33:28Speaker 1: obviously you are, but you're much more different now and
- 33:31Speaker 1: looking for different things now. Than you were let's call
- 33:34Speaker 1: it twenty one.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Yeah, because at twenty one, you're just looking for the
- 33:38Speaker 3: hottest thing or you know, something that's fun at the time,
- 33:41Speaker 3: and you don't really understand.
- 33:43Speaker 2: We're back to but boots, we're back to that question.
- 33:46Speaker 3: I mean, and that's part of it. And but you know,
- 33:50Speaker 3: you don't really understand what you actually want because you
- 33:54Speaker 3: change throughout your twenties, and like, who I was at
- 33:58Speaker 3: twenty one and who I was and who I was
- 34:00Speaker 3: at thirty is a completely different person and they're looking
- 34:03Speaker 3: for completely different things. So and I think that's why
- 34:06Speaker 3: a lot of people get in trouble nowadays, where they
- 34:08Speaker 3: feel like they got to settle and jump on the
- 34:09Speaker 3: marriage trend early and they end up getting divorced by
- 34:12Speaker 3: twenty seven, twenty eight. And it's I mean, it's just
- 34:15Speaker 3: because every it's the it's the shiny thing in front
- 34:18Speaker 3: of you, right.
- 34:19Speaker 2: I jumped on it early too, because my father, by
- 34:22Speaker 2: the time he was twenty four, he had me and
- 34:24Speaker 2: he had married my mom, who already had three kids.
- 34:27Speaker 2: It was like it was like, what I'm like, your
- 34:29Speaker 2: father was twenty forty four, he married a woman that
- 34:32Speaker 2: had two kids and had me.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Yeah, and then my parents got married by when they
- 34:37Speaker 3: were twenty one twenty three.
- 34:39Speaker 2: I got married when I was when I was like
- 34:40Speaker 2: twenty nine. I was like, I gotta get like, what
- 34:42Speaker 2: are you doing?
- 34:43Speaker 3: Are you from around here?
- 34:45Speaker 2: I'm from North Hollywood?
- 34:46Speaker 3: Okay?
- 34:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 34:47Speaker 3: And it well so and I imagine I guess it's
- 34:50Speaker 3: some more similar, but like in the South, like it's
- 34:53Speaker 3: that's you know, one of the things you.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Do, what you do?
- 34:56Speaker 3: You get married young, have babies.
- 34:57Speaker 1: And yeah, Brett, when I was twenty, yeah, ten days
- 35:01Speaker 1: after I turned twenty, I got married and everybody and
- 35:04Speaker 1: I'm from Massachusetts originally, and everybody thought I was pregnant,
- 35:08Speaker 1: you know, shotgun ways it wasn't.
- 35:10Speaker 2: I didn't have kids for eight and a half years.
- 35:11Speaker 2: But I think you're right.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Yeah, and seeing the South, that would be a normal Maria,
- 35:16Speaker 3: normal Marriag yes, you know. But for me, I'm just
- 35:18Speaker 3: always the type not to settle for anything unless I'm
- 35:20Speaker 3: one hundred percent sure about it.
- 35:22Speaker 2: So well, that's.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Why I'm on a dating show.
- 35:25Speaker 2: That's why I'm on a dating show.
- 35:26Speaker 1: And we are so glad that we've had a chance
- 35:28Speaker 1: to chit chat with you today. You are an amazing man.
- 35:31Speaker 1: We can't wait to see your season.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Appreciate it.
- 35:34Speaker 1: We wish you all the best in your search for loves,
- 35:37Speaker 1: and we hope Farmer finds his wife.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Yeah wellngratulations, Yeah, I appreciate it.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Guess yeah, thank you, thank you. Farmer Wants a Wife
