Speaker 1: and coming from the family I come from, we struggle

Speaker 1: with relationship as well. A man, it's no perfect family.

Speaker 1: But what we can do is follow the manuscript, follow

Speaker 1: the instructions from the Word of God of how family

Speaker 1: should function. And we should be representatives of the family

Speaker 1: life that we live, should be representing the Lord Jesus

Speaker 1: and how he wants us to be, how God wants

Speaker 1: us to be through his word. Amen. Family life, We're

Speaker 1: going to be in Romans chapter number twelve, verse number ten.

Speaker 1: Chapter number twelve, Verse number ten. Father, I come against

Speaker 1: any demonic attack right now the name of Jesus. We

Speaker 1: cancel any demonic influence, any demonic attack right now the

Speaker 1: fiery darts, and then even one from the evil One

Speaker 1: will be stopped by the shield of faith. I thank you, Lord,

Speaker 1: in Christ right now. Although he's having a rough time

Speaker 1: from the night to the morning with demonic attacks and

Speaker 1: pray a hedge of protection over his household. I pray

Speaker 1: a hedge of protection over all things that he is

Speaker 1: involved in, and I pray look at the purity of

Speaker 1: your Holy Spirit that continues to guide him through every

Speaker 1: single day. I pray also for every single person that's

Speaker 1: watching and listening. I pray a hedge of protection over them,

Speaker 1: as well as my family, my wife, our children, our

Speaker 1: whole entire bloodlines, from both sides of our families, from

Speaker 1: the youngest family member to the very oldest. I pray unity.

Speaker 1: or whether your families are stranged. And then I got

Speaker 1: a call from my cousin yesterday. I was blessed by that. Amen.

Speaker 1: And we grew up together, and then we lost contact

Speaker 1: for over thirty years, and then his dad, my great uncle,

Speaker 1: passed away. We finally reunited and got back and we're

Speaker 1: picking up the pieces man, and he's reaching out, and

Speaker 1: I'm grateful for that. Right. I'm grateful for family. I'm

Speaker 1: grateful for the times that when we were kids. Now

Speaker 1: that we're adults and we're older, we have our own children,

Speaker 1: our own lives. Amen, we can still communicate. That's what

Speaker 1: blend of souls that God has placed into our bloodline.

Speaker 1: They come in all shapes and sizes, all colors and shades. Amen.

Speaker 1: And I think that's a beautiful thing. And I believe

Speaker 1: Heaven is going to be blended as well. It's going

Speaker 1: to be all tribes, all tongues or all backgrounds up

Speaker 1: in heaven. Amen. And God created that. It's a melting

Speaker 1: pot of creation, it's a melting pot of humanity. It's

Speaker 1: a melting pot of love, grace, and mercy. Amen. God

Speaker 1: poured out his spirit. According to the scriptures, the prophet

Speaker 1: Joel said it, and then the book for Axis says

Speaker 1: it again, God pours out his spirit on all flesh. Amen.

Speaker 1: And as a matter of fact, no flesh, flesh and

Speaker 1: bones will never get into the kingdom. God will never

Speaker 1: enter into the Kingdom God. So this is going to

Speaker 1: be so spiritual. Amen, We're going to be just like

Speaker 1: Jesus when we get to that place of eternity. But

Speaker 1: on in the meantime, let's get things right down here

Speaker 1: with our own families. Right family life ship reflect Christian life.

Speaker 1: So let's go to the scripture Romans, Chapter twelve, verse

Speaker 1: number seen. The Bible says, be devoted to one another

Speaker 1: with authentic brotherly affection or sisterly affection as members of

Speaker 1: how many families one family. We're members of a bigger family,

Speaker 1: but we have a bloodline as well, so we need

Speaker 1: to honor our parents, like the scripture says. The scripture

Speaker 1: doesn't say, honor your Christian parent, honor your parent that

Speaker 1: believes in God. The Bible doesn't say that. The Bible says,

Speaker 1: honor your parents. Period. Give preference to one another in honor.

Speaker 1: When you do that, right, when I honor my system,

Speaker 1: when I'm honored my brothers, Amen, something happens you could

Speaker 1: see the other person honored. I watch sister Jolie who's

Speaker 1: with us, Amen, I watch her family, I watch her pictures, Amen,

Speaker 1: and I look at her family and I'm like, Wow,

Speaker 1: they're honoring each other. They celebrate each other on birthdays,

Speaker 1: they celebrate each other's pretty much daily. It's a big family,

Speaker 1: a lot of children, right. The mom is still around,

Speaker 1: the dad's still around. It's just an amazing thing to

Speaker 1: see a family that's devoted to one another, right, and

Speaker 1: it's authentic, it's real. Do they have hiccups. Probably, I

Speaker 1: don't know, but I know we have hiccups in my family.

Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, we're devoted to

Speaker 1: one another with authentic brotherly affection, just like the Scripture says.

Speaker 1: And when you see somebody getting honored in your family,

Speaker 1: you see how they you know, it glow and it's

Speaker 1: sparkling their eyes, especially when we do it for the

Speaker 1: young kids. Amen. So shout out to a Keino Perez

Speaker 1: is a unit. Family life is a you of many

Speaker 1: people coming together. And by the way, I don't think

Speaker 1: anybody knew before we were born what family we were

Speaker 1: know what about you. Did you know who you were

Speaker 1: going to be before you were born? Did you know

Speaker 1: to be in, where you were going to be in

Speaker 1: a part of the world, or what language you were

Speaker 1: going into speak? And know God picked it all out

Speaker 1: for us. Amen. And because God picked it out for us,

Speaker 1: let's honor each other in brotherly love, because we know

Speaker 1: deep down aside, even people who are atheists know that

Speaker 1: they didn't plan to be in the family that they

Speaker 1: were in that they're in currently. And so I had

Speaker 1: to be someone making that decision for us. It's obvious

Speaker 1: we had no part of the deal. When it came

Speaker 1: to us coming on this planet, our parents had a

Speaker 1: lot to do with it, right, But even they didn't

Speaker 1: know exactly who we were going to be when the

Speaker 1: mom conceived. They didn't know exactly when my mom conceived.

Speaker 1: She didn't know if it was going to be a

Speaker 1: boy or girl right until the time got closer. She

Speaker 1: didn't know if I was gonna be tall, if I

Speaker 1: was gonna be light skinned, dark skinned, if I was

Speaker 1: gonna be you know, whatever the case. She didn't know.

Speaker 1: But when I came out, they meant and she saw

Speaker 1: God's work right, started developing because we're created in the

Speaker 1: image of God, in the likeness of God, right and

Speaker 1: the design of God, and we grow right, some of us.

Speaker 1: I'm short, so it's not like I'm a tall guy,

Speaker 1: but I have tall brothers. Amen, I have cousins that

Speaker 1: are taller than me. And see everyone growing up getting older,

Speaker 1: a man might as well just show honor towards one another.

Speaker 1: Everybody's gonna get along, right, that's obvious. But at least

Speaker 1: let's be respectful and mindful that God is in control,

Speaker 1: Mindful that God put us together for a purpose and

Speaker 1: a plan and a reason on this side of eternity.

Speaker 1: So I'm not the best at it, but I try

Speaker 1: my best. Amen. I When I get together with family,

Speaker 1: I try my best to show my daughters a father

Speaker 1: that cares. Right, And I know my daughter says that says,

Speaker 1: you don't smile a lot, right I do. I'm smiling

Speaker 1: inside all the time. It's just that my face sometimes

Speaker 1: it doesn't show up because just life, and she doesn't

Speaker 1: understand how life goes sometimes for us adults, right. But

Speaker 1: I try to maintain focus when she speaks. I try

Speaker 1: to maintain eye contact, which is the heart one of

Speaker 1: the hardest things in my life for certain reasons that

Speaker 1: I want to talk about right now. But for me

Speaker 1: to maintain eye contact, it's hard. But I try my

Speaker 1: best when my daughter speaks and when my wife speaks. Amen. Now, no,

Speaker 1: trying to do the best for your children, if you're

Speaker 1: in your household or not. I see marriages, you know

Speaker 1: that start off strong and then they end up horrible

Speaker 1: like bad breakups, and the kids are left like with

Speaker 1: a divided family. Right, So imagine imagine how the kids

Speaker 1: feel when the family gets divided, when mom and dad

Speaker 1: are no longer together. Now for whatever reason, I'm not

Speaker 1: going to hear. I'm not going to sit here and

Speaker 1: judge people for splitting up or getting divorced or anything.

Speaker 1: I am saying though, that it does hurt people when

Speaker 1: the family is torn apart. And who's behind all of that?

Speaker 1: You might be saying, well, it was her fault, my

Speaker 1: wife's fault, is my husband fault? But really, who's behind

Speaker 1: all of that? It's a spiritual thing. The enemy knows

Speaker 1: that if he could get the dad, if he could

Speaker 1: get the man out of the house, usually usually not

Speaker 1: all the time, usually he'll get the family and he'll

Speaker 1: destroy things because he's three things that he wants to kill, steal,

Speaker 1: and destroy. He doesn't want things to go right. He

Speaker 1: doesn't want you to obey God. He doesn't want you

Speaker 1: to trust God. He doesn't want you to serve God.

Speaker 1: He doesn't want you to worship God. Doesn't want you

Speaker 1: to praise God. He doesn't want you to get saved.

Speaker 1: He doesn't want you to live saved. He doesn't want

Speaker 1: you to honor your parents, none of it. He's anti scripture.

Speaker 1: He doesn't want anything to go the way God wants

Speaker 1: it to go in our lives. So really, really, behind

Speaker 1: it all is the enemy. He's the one that's wants

Speaker 1: disaster for you and for me and those who serve

Speaker 1: the devil. You think that you're good with him, He

Speaker 1: hates you too. He hates all of God's creation, But

Speaker 1: family life ties things together. We are a reflection of

Speaker 1: the Kingdom of God to a world that's desperately in

Speaker 1: need of the hope of Jesus and of the love

Speaker 1: of God. Amen, So be devoted to one another. I

Speaker 1: mean to some is hard to me, It's not that

Speaker 1: hard to show affection, to show devotion to honor. Amen.

Speaker 1: I haven't spoken to my mom in a while, a

Speaker 1: man for personal reasons, and I've called several times, but

Speaker 1: she hasn't responded. I'm back, So I leave people in

Speaker 1: their space, right, But I also pray for peace, and

Speaker 1: I pray for my mom daily, not just once. A week,

Speaker 1: once a month, daily, pray for my family daily. And

Speaker 1: I believe that when you do that, God will start

Speaker 1: lining hearts up and heart and hearts will stop being

Speaker 1: so hard, and we won't be so offended, and we

Speaker 1: won't be so against each other. But through situations, we

Speaker 1: know that we will be unified in Christ. Amen, be

Speaker 1: devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another

Speaker 1: above yourself. So this is a selfless saying, not a

Speaker 1: selfish thing. It's a selflessed thing. When I honor somebody

Speaker 1: in my family, right, I'm letting them know, you're the person,

Speaker 1: You're the man, you're the woman. It's all about you today.

Speaker 1: I'm just here visiting. When I go see my grandchildren

Speaker 1: and I see my son and his wife, it's all

Speaker 1: about them. Man. I want to know what's going on

Speaker 1: with them. And Man, I don't bring nothing up with

Speaker 1: my accomplishments or achievements or about my family. Amen. I'm

Speaker 1: trying to honor them. And every time I do that,

Speaker 1: I feel like I'm honored. Amen. Especially with my son,

Speaker 1: his demeanors is so like impressive to me. He knows

Speaker 1: how to honor me, he knows how to respect he

Speaker 1: doesn't talk out of turn. He's always a gentleman. You know.

Speaker 1: He has dry humor like me, like his dad. But

Speaker 1: you know, we get along. We do what we gotta do,

Speaker 1: and we show the kids love, you know, especially his

Speaker 1: beautiful kids. Man. I got two granddaughters and one grandson.

Speaker 1: He has his hands full, he has beautiful wife. He

Speaker 1: has his hands full. But he knows an honor and

Speaker 1: he's in an environment that they show each other honor,

Speaker 1: the brothers in his firehouse. He's a fireman in New York,

Speaker 1: so he's on it. First. Peter, chapter one, verse twenty

Speaker 1: two says, not that you have purified yourselves by obeying

Speaker 1: the truth, so that you have sincere love for your brothers,

Speaker 1: love one another deeply from the heart. This is not superficial,

Speaker 1: This is not phony. This is real love. And man

Speaker 1: of real love accomplishes much. Real love covers a multitude

Speaker 1: of sins and a multitude of you know, offenses. Is

Speaker 1: put it like that, Real love gets it. So family

Speaker 1: life should reflect Christian life. Think about it. If a

Speaker 1: Christian family is getting along or not getting along, it

Speaker 1: still reflects. But in a blended family, not everybody's gonna

Speaker 1: believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Think about it. Some

Speaker 1: of your family members might be into Islam. Some of

Speaker 1: your family members might be witches and warlocks. Some of

Speaker 1: your family members might be into Santaia and voodoo stuff

Speaker 1: like that. Not everybody's going to be on the same page.

Speaker 1: But when you show up as a Christ follower in

Speaker 1: the family, you're representing the King of Kings and the

Speaker 1: Lord of lords. So speak that truth. Amen, go with love,

Speaker 1: go with the gentle spirit. Let them know the truth

Speaker 1: of the Lord and the Gospel. Truth and men. They

Speaker 1: might not agree, now, they might not, you know, but

Speaker 1: they should respect right, just like you respect. There are

Speaker 1: things you might not agree with, what they're doing and

Speaker 1: who they're serving. A member. When you show up, you

Speaker 1: show up and represent as a representative, as an ambassador

Speaker 1: of the Lord Jesus, and watch what happens in your family.

Speaker 1: They'll know there's a difference. But if you show up

Speaker 1: and you just conform to what's happening, right. I remember

Speaker 1: growing up, I used to watch the you know, my

Speaker 1: parents' generation, how they used to hang out, you know,

Speaker 1: six packs of beer, all cases of beer, hanging out

Speaker 1: doing what they did. And I said, watch that. I said,

Speaker 1: but they look happy, they look all together. Why because

Speaker 1: they were showing each other love the way they were
