  Good afternoon. Welcome to today's NGX Midday Update. At the moment, the All Share Index is down by 1.12%. The index measures the average performance of stocks on the exchange. Let's look at the top gainers and losers. At the top gainers at the moment are Nymet, NPF Microfinance and Centralizers. Nymet is trading at 10.15 Naira up 9.73%. NPF Microfinance is trading at 5.35 Naira up 9.18%.

  and then tantalizers is up 5.63 percent trading at four naira 50 couple a share on the flip side of things cadbury name and cornhole are the worst performing stocks at the moment cadbury trading at 62 naira 10 couple down 10 percent uh name insurance trading at 28.75 couple down nine point eight seven percent and then you have consolidated hallmark trading at seven naira and eight couple down nine point four six percent

  On the volume and value side of things, in terms of most actively traded stocks by volume, First Holdco, Assets Corporation and Japol are the most actively traded stocks by volume. First Holdco with 14.3 million shares traded, Assets Corporation with 14.1 million shares traded and Japol Gold with 13.3 million shares traded. On the value side of things, MTN Nigeria Pole position with 5 billion naira worth of shares traded.

  zenith bank is next with 1.09 billion naira water shares traded third place is dango this cement with 951 million naira watts of shares traded so let's see what some of the individual names are doing starting with the premium side of things uh assets in the green currently trading at 23 naira 55 kubo dango this cement trading at a thousand naira dango the cement is in the red uh i guess that's why he had the index down by over one percent first hold coin in the green current price 61 naira

  MTN, CEPLAT, UBA, WAPCO and Zenith are in the red. MTN trading at 757. CEPLAT trading at 10,227.6. UBA trading at 40.9. WAPCO trading at 316.5. And then Zenith Bank trading at 118.5. So what else do we need to see? Let's see the growth side of things. You have a tip in the green. Up by 50 copper trading at 29.50 copper.

  uh mcnichols in the red is down by 10 couple trading at 740 couple a share uh let's see some other names and what they are doing are they're trading at the 1629.8 ardell is in the red um calgary we talked about that current price 62.45 abuah foods and boa cement are in the red and boats have traded strong volumes uh over 700 000 shares respectively traded

  Boa Cement trading at 340.2. Boa Foods trading at 845.1. Let's go to the bottom of the pack. Weimar Bank currently trading at 29.95 Naira. Let's go see Regency Alliance Insurance which has its rights issue opening next week. So Regency Alliance Insurance is in the green at the moment trading at 1.01 Naira up by 1.01 Naira.
