- 0:00Speaker 1: It's Tess's Top Stories on the Tens with Billy the
- 0:02Speaker 1: Kid in the.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Morning only on the new Mix one two point nine.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Finally starting to get light out.
- 0:08Speaker 2: But you know what, I'll take that that's rather be
- 0:09Speaker 2: darker in the morning and lighter for longer during the
- 0:13Speaker 2: day because but spring Ford.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Does kind of mess you up. Oh yeah, for sure, Candice.
- 0:16Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 0:17Speaker 4: Well, you mentioned your power was out in Carrollton.
- 0:19Speaker 5: Were more than twenty three thousand people in and around
- 0:22Speaker 5: Rockwall and Dallas County were without power yesterday morning. The
- 0:25Speaker 5: city of Roulette said their outage was caused by an
- 0:28Speaker 5: equipment issue. I don't think that was caused by the weather,
- 0:31Speaker 5: which didn't turn out to be quite as bad as
- 0:33Speaker 5: we thought when we were talking about it on Friday.
- 0:36Speaker 5: We do have low chances for rain today though, but
- 0:38Speaker 5: severe storms are possible again Tuesday evening into Tuesday night.
- 0:43Speaker 5: That should be moving out early Wednesday morning, and then
- 0:45Speaker 5: the rest of the week looks dry. We're going to
- 0:47Speaker 5: get into the low eighties today for a high at
- 0:49Speaker 5: sixty three right now, guys, this new study says AI
- 0:53Speaker 5: maybe giving some workers what researchers are calling brain fry.
- 0:58Speaker 5: So This is a study from the Harvard Business Review
- 1:01Speaker 5: saying that constantly using multiple AI tools reported more decision
- 1:06Speaker 5: fatigue and more errors. This also says AI can reduce
- 1:10Speaker 5: a burnout as well as create burnout.
- 1:12Speaker 4: So it's just like such a mess, it seems like
- 1:15Speaker 4: with the AI everywhere.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess. I mean, I don't know. I have
- 1:18Speaker 3: brain fry either way.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's a good point.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Much better than vocal fry.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Oh, what's vocal fry?
- 1:23Speaker 2: You know how Kim Kardashian talks. You've never had No,
- 1:27Speaker 2: every time you talk about this.
- 1:28Speaker 3: No, it's not that. It's like vocal fry is a
- 1:31Speaker 3: very certain way that people talk.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Is it?
- 1:33Speaker 6: Yes?
- 1:34Speaker 4: Okay, No, I want to know about this now. Do
- 1:36Speaker 4: I have it?
- 1:37Speaker 7: No?
- 1:37Speaker 2: I don't think you do vocal fry, but I'm trying to.
- 1:39Speaker 2: You know, it's like they all vary. It's like, well,
- 1:41Speaker 2: I guess we could go down the air and see
- 1:43Speaker 2: what's going.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Okay. Is it more of like an energy or a tone?
- 1:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it's vocal. I have to pull it up.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I can't do it, okay.
- 1:52Speaker 5: Where there's just no inflection and you're just very monotone.
- 1:56Speaker 2: It's almost like your it sounds like your vocal cords
- 1:58Speaker 2: are fried. So many people though nowadays. Oh, I'm not
- 2:02Speaker 2: just going to say just ladies. Yeah, no, say the
- 2:04Speaker 2: majority is ladies.
- 2:06Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 4: I wonder who a man is that would be have
- 2:08Speaker 4: vocal fries.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Some men have vocal fries.
- 2:10Speaker 4: I see what you're saying about, Like Kim Kardashian.
- 2:11Speaker 3: I have to pull it up. Yeah, I believe you
- 2:14Speaker 3: don't know what I'm talking about.
- 2:15Speaker 4: No, I'm interested I'm talking about. Yes, I do. I
- 2:18Speaker 4: definitely know about brain fry, that's for sure.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Especially today, guys, A woman was taken into custody for
- 2:24Speaker 5: shooting an AR fifteen style rifle at Rihanna's home in
- 2:28Speaker 5: Los Angeles. Rihanna was reportedly in the home at the time.
- 2:32Speaker 5: She was unharmed. The woman drove into the private cul
- 2:35Speaker 5: de sac and opened fire from her tesla and then
- 2:38Speaker 5: left the scene. Yeah, so police tracked her down using
- 2:42Speaker 5: a helicopter. They were able to take her into custody
- 2:45Speaker 5: in a mall parking garage. I guess this has happened
- 2:47Speaker 5: within thirty minutes. That weapon was also recovered. Police don't
- 2:52Speaker 5: have a motive just yet, but they are investigating. They're
- 2:55Speaker 5: saying they plan to release more details yesterday. But this
- 2:58Speaker 5: happened like in the afternoon yesterday. Yeah, they said at
- 3:02Speaker 5: least four rounds of or fragments did hit parts of
- 3:06Speaker 5: the property. This is the home, of course, she shares
- 3:08Speaker 5: with Asap Rocky. But what how does this just happen
- 3:12Speaker 5: out of nowhere?
- 3:12Speaker 2: People are crazy. Yeah, that's why it doesn't matter who
- 3:15Speaker 2: you are nowadays. It's scary because well, and she does
- 3:18Speaker 2: stuff alone too. Like I saw her out not too
- 3:21Speaker 2: long ago, TMZ. She was at the grocery store. Really,
- 3:23Speaker 2: she's just like a normal person. Wow, Rihanna just going
- 3:26Speaker 2: through produce. I mean she did have a huge bodyguard
- 3:28Speaker 2: with her. Yeah, he was kind of hanging on the background.
- 3:30Speaker 2: She was talking to people about stuff, like an old lady.
- 3:32Speaker 4: She was talking about her.
- 3:33Speaker 2: They didn't even know who she was. Yeah, she tries
- 3:36Speaker 2: to be normal, but you're not.
- 3:37Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like she can afford to have a personal
- 3:39Speaker 5: shopper go and do that. But like, as a human
- 3:41Speaker 5: being and a mom, you sometimes want to shop.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Not every day, but like here and there.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I had that money, Oh, i'd I wouldn't leave. I
- 3:48Speaker 3: wouldn't do anything.
- 3:49Speaker 4: The seventeen dollars peanut butter.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Oh, by eighty dollar peanut butter, and I'd have someone
- 3:54Speaker 3: buy it for me.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah you.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Would, but instead it's great value peanut butter.
- 3:59Speaker 4: It's fine, all right, I'm Kandaslopez. Those are your Texas
- 4:02Speaker 4: top stories. Oh that's a hot take.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Let us know what you think.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Here's today's hot take.
- 4:08Speaker 2: The chance go see Harry Styles coming up next on
- 4:10Speaker 2: Mixed one or two point nine. It's Bail of the Kid,
- 4:12Speaker 2: Canda slow Pez producer Pooh. Let me ask you this
- 4:14Speaker 2: for hot take to day. Are prenups offensive? Are they offensive?
- 4:19Speaker 2: When you know you're about to get married all of
- 4:21Speaker 2: a sudden here comes and we talk about this today
- 4:23Speaker 2: because of the situation with Dak which I hope none
- 4:26Speaker 2: of this is true. I do too, and I hope
- 4:28Speaker 2: they didn't break up over a prenup, him and his girl.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I mean, why they have two kids under two? Why
- 4:33Speaker 2: do I want to see anybody break up? I don't
- 4:36Speaker 2: want to see that. I don't even remember saying this
- 4:38Speaker 2: that I say prenups are were offensive.
- 4:40Speaker 3: I didn't say that.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Asked if they were, I don't remember you saying that
- 4:42Speaker 4: they were.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Okay, Well, the rumor is they might have broken up
- 4:45Speaker 2: because of a disagreement on a prenup, and well, I
- 4:49Speaker 2: guess new details are coming out from maybe this is
- 4:52Speaker 2: all speculation, by the way, so but one of the
- 4:56Speaker 2: details is coming out that maybe her attorney wasn't okay
- 4:59Speaker 2: with what his attorney presented.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Well, according to the report, so the dispute started when
- 5:05Speaker 5: she asked her attorney to review the prenup. But after
- 5:07Speaker 5: talks and talks and talks, she and Dak couldn't reach
- 5:10Speaker 5: an agreement. So a source says the prenup wasn't very strict.
- 5:14Speaker 5: Everyone basically kept whatever they had before the marriage. It
- 5:17Speaker 5: was pretty straightforward. That's this source. Of course, however, that
- 5:20Speaker 5: she was reportedly hoping for a bit of a you know,
- 5:23Speaker 5: financial security beyond the standard terms. The source is saying
- 5:26Speaker 5: that her perspective is that she was already with him
- 5:30Speaker 5: before that big two hundred and forty million dollar contract
- 5:33Speaker 5: deal was signed by Dak, and that how you know,
- 5:37Speaker 5: she felt the agreement should reflect how long they've been
- 5:39Speaker 5: together in the life, that they had already started building.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Which is true. But he was already a millionaire, wasn't
- 5:45Speaker 3: like he.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Was brought yeah, really in shape, right.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Right, he was fine. But yeah, they were together.
- 5:49Speaker 2: They were obviously not married, but they have two kids together,
- 5:51Speaker 2: which I don't think it's crazy for her to ask
- 5:54Speaker 2: for some kind of financial you know, I don't safety net.
- 5:58Speaker 3: I don't think that's crazy.
- 5:59Speaker 5: Ye, well, knowing that he has it, like for normal people,
- 6:02Speaker 5: it's like, well what what what is the safety net?
- 6:05Speaker 4: What is the option here?
- 6:06Speaker 2: Of course they split up and he's going to be
- 6:07Speaker 2: paying child support. But if they split up this she
- 6:09Speaker 2: deserve anything else.
- 6:10Speaker 4: And I think she wants to keep her lifestyle for sure.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Right about go get a job, girl, Okay, Like if
- 6:17Speaker 1: you come to me.
- 6:18Speaker 2: A job, that's a job. She's a wine specialist. That's
- 6:23Speaker 2: what it says in her bier. Yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 4: I don't know what that means.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I don't know what her life versus I'm sacrificing my
- 6:31Speaker 1: body every Thursday, Sunday and Monday night for football for
- 6:34Speaker 1: two hundred and forty million. No that you know the
- 6:37Speaker 1: problem is, I'm sorry they can come at me, but
- 6:41Speaker 1: these ladies expect all this money and they and they
- 6:46Speaker 1: go to you know, they go to war.
- 6:48Speaker 3: With this guy over nothing like I have to kids.
- 6:51Speaker 3: They expect all this money.
- 6:53Speaker 1: They do they they the they date these athletes, and
- 6:56Speaker 1: some of them, not all of them, but some of
- 6:58Speaker 1: them will be looking for the payday.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Okay, that's not right, Sure some do.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, But so would she have two kids
- 7:05Speaker 2: with this with Dak if she was just trying to
- 7:08Speaker 2: get a payday?
- 7:09Speaker 3: I mean, nobody knows that answer to think so.
- 7:13Speaker 1: But at the same time, look, I'm gonna take care
- 7:15Speaker 1: of my kids, but don't expect some millions for what.
- 7:20Speaker 5: To be just lifestyle expectation when you're living the life.
- 7:23Speaker 5: She's gonna get money Dak Prescott's fiance baby Mama, like
- 7:26Speaker 5: you're I mean, that's next level. We're not out here
- 7:29Speaker 5: hanging on y odds but traveling in Pj's.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Most people don't have two kids before marriage. I mean,
- 7:35Speaker 2: it happens, don't get me wrong, But in this case,
- 7:38Speaker 2: I think it's a little bit different because they're not married,
- 7:40Speaker 2: they have two kids.
- 7:41Speaker 5: So if you're committing to me to be the father
- 7:43Speaker 5: of my two children, then you're also committing to take
- 7:47Speaker 5: care of me, right, to take care of me.
- 7:48Speaker 3: I don't think that's crazy, but I don't either.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yeah, define take care well, and that I can't define that.
- 7:54Speaker 2: But I'm saying because I don't know what they do
- 7:55Speaker 2: and how they live, and we're all we're just assuming
- 7:58Speaker 2: this if that's even the truth of what happened. Right,
- 8:01Speaker 2: this guy wrote me this message, he said, sorry, Billy,
- 8:03Speaker 2: you're wrong on this one. If any woman gets offended
- 8:06Speaker 2: by a prenup, that's a red flag.
- 8:10Speaker 3: A prenup doesn't mean you're planning for the end.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It means you're mature enough to talk about money, expectations
- 8:15Speaker 2: and worst case scenarios before emotions and lawyers get involved.
- 8:19Speaker 2: We ensure our cars, homes, and businesses, but somehow protecting
- 8:23Speaker 2: our life's assets in marriage is a problem. Our prenup
- 8:26Speaker 2: doesn't ruin love. It exposes whether the relationship was about
- 8:30Speaker 2: love or leverage. Okay, and in Dak's case, it was
- 8:33Speaker 2: obviously about leverage.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Oh man, I don't know.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I don't know if that's the case. I didn't well,
- 8:39Speaker 2: I don't think. I didn't say that she was offended
- 8:42Speaker 2: by the prenup. But I think she's probably maybe offended
- 8:45Speaker 2: by I think it came down to the last minute,
- 8:47Speaker 2: and she didn't like that. Maybe his lawyers were being
- 8:50Speaker 2: very very strict about what they.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Were going to do and right, I mean, somebody's got
- 8:54Speaker 5: to protect Dak and his assets.
- 8:56Speaker 4: You know, even if it's not him, somebody's going to
- 8:58Speaker 4: be in his ear.
- 9:00Speaker 2: He has a say on it. At the end of
- 9:02Speaker 2: the day, it's going to be whatever he says. So
- 9:05Speaker 2: if he says no, that's good. I could see them
- 9:07Speaker 2: getting in a fight about how strict it is, but
- 9:09Speaker 2: not the fact that there is one.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Of course, there's going to be one, right.
- 9:13Speaker 5: Yeah, the NFL's going to be a pup.
- 9:17Speaker 2: But I just don't think it's all about that, because
- 9:21Speaker 2: if it was just about the prenup, I think they
- 9:23Speaker 2: could figure that out. They wouldn't cancel the wedding right
- 9:25Speaker 2: away a month before the wedding. One month before the wedding,
- 9:29Speaker 2: that's done. I think there's something else going on. Maybe
- 9:33Speaker 2: maybe not, but I hope they work it out.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Yeah, me too.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I mean my I had a wedding one time. I
- 9:39Speaker 2: was engaged in wedding canceled a month before.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Really, yeah, why.
- 9:43Speaker 2: It wasn't over a prenup because I wasn't making any money.
- 9:46Speaker 3: No, we just couldn't get along.
- 9:48Speaker 2: And you know how I found out that the wedding
- 9:50Speaker 2: was canceled is my friend was a baker. And he's like, hey,
- 9:55Speaker 2: is everything okay? This is a month before the wedding.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I'm like why, he goes, well everything, and I well,
- 10:00Speaker 2: we're in a fight right now, but I think it'll
- 10:01Speaker 2: be okay.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Well, her mom just called and canceled a wedding cake order.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I said what I said, No, are you serious?
- 10:14Speaker 3: I know? I was like, dang, And guess what I
- 10:19Speaker 3: called her?
- 10:20Speaker 2: I called her. I tried to get her on the phone.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Her mom said, no, it's it's done. That's how I
- 10:25Speaker 2: found out.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Wow.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd rather found out their TMZ or right.
- 10:30Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:31Speaker 2: That See, it hurts. It hurts when you're dack. I'm
- 10:33Speaker 2: sure at least you got millions to cry on.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:38Speaker 2: I was crying into my doctor thunder it makes one
- 10:41Speaker 2: or two point nine and bail at a kid Candace
- 10:43Speaker 2: Lopez producer, pooh and now earlier we were talking about
- 10:45Speaker 2: this during Candace Court because well this girl, uh, she
- 10:49Speaker 2: was mad at her boyfriend because she asked a question
- 10:52Speaker 2: that he thought was ridiculous, but he answered it right away.
- 10:55Speaker 2: She said, if you had to marry one of my friends,
- 10:57Speaker 2: who would it be? And he said, oh, Kadien hands
- 11:01Speaker 2: hands down, Katie. So we were talking about ridiculous questions
- 11:06Speaker 2: that women ask, or maybe they don't, maybe they're not
- 11:08Speaker 2: so ridiculous.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and this.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Guy brote big to me. He said, Oh, I've had
- 11:13Speaker 2: my girlfriend asked me ridiculous questions. A matter of fact,
- 11:15Speaker 2: one time she asked me if I were a worm,
- 11:17Speaker 2: would you still love me?
- 11:22Speaker 3: Why? Why would you ever ask that?
- 11:28Speaker 4: Right?
- 11:28Speaker 3: Why?
- 11:29Speaker 5: Guys like the girl that asked, like, if you had
- 11:31Speaker 5: to change one of my features, what would it be
- 11:35Speaker 5: for you to ask her?
- 11:36Speaker 4: Man that and then he said something.
- 11:37Speaker 5: They got into a huge fight and she knew that
- 11:40Speaker 5: he hated pickles and he was in the showers.
- 11:42Speaker 3: She went, you're lying. Yeah, Okay, you.
- 11:48Speaker 4: Can blame it or something.
- 11:50Speaker 2: You could blame the woman for asking something ridiculous, that's fine,
- 11:53Speaker 2: But I really blamed the guys for answering something so stupid. Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 2: somebody asked me, if you could change one characteristic about me,
- 12:01Speaker 2: what would it be.
- 12:01Speaker 3: I'd be like nothing, I love you the way You're right.
- 12:03Speaker 4: I'm not going to torture you until you answer yeah.
- 12:05Speaker 2: And then if they say, oh, you're lying, stop seriously,
- 12:09Speaker 2: That's what makes you beautiful, is all your different characteristics.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Characteristic that's what makes people beautiful. Yeah right, yeah, yeah,
- 12:20Speaker 2: it does. Can't doesn't ask ridiculous questions?
- 12:22Speaker 4: No, no, why would I do that. I'm not setting
- 12:24Speaker 4: myself up for that.
- 12:26Speaker 3: I've had.
- 12:26Speaker 2: I've definitely had an ex girlfriend ask me which one
- 12:29Speaker 2: which of their friends do I think is the prettiest?
- 12:32Speaker 3: Okay, and I'm just like, what do you mean by that?
- 12:35Speaker 3: I don't look at them that way. I'm good, I'm blind.
- 12:39Speaker 2: If you ever know, I don't look at your friends
- 12:43Speaker 2: that way is genuinely the right answer, though, Like I don't.
- 12:46Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not looking at her friends, like, oh,
- 12:48Speaker 2: which one's the hottest?
- 12:50Speaker 3: You know? So how would you have answered that question?
- 12:53Speaker 3: How would you have answered that question? Girl? Well, I like,
- 12:59Speaker 3: I think they're all. I think they're all I said prettiest.
- 13:03Speaker 3: I know, I try to play it off. Did you
- 13:06Speaker 3: not hear me?
- 13:07Speaker 7: Yeah? I know.
- 13:09Speaker 3: I only have eyes for you, baby God. Yeah, that's
- 13:14Speaker 3: what I would say. They're all pretty.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Yeah, they're all pretty.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Yeah, you're the prettiest of them all.
- 13:19Speaker 2: But he did have a girl asked him a funny
- 13:22Speaker 2: this is your last girlfriend had the last girlfriend?
- 13:25Speaker 1: Okay, so her her cousin worked at the oil field
- 13:28Speaker 1: or whatever in Midland and he had he had an
- 13:31Speaker 1: accident while at the job site and if he lost
- 13:34Speaker 1: four fingers or whatever.
- 13:36Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh, but you are.
- 13:38Speaker 3: But she was like, you know, she was like, oh,
- 13:40Speaker 3: he lost four fingers, and she.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Was worried about his wife because she was like, uh,
- 13:46Speaker 1: she was having trouble because he's you know, he's handicapped now.
- 13:49Speaker 3: And I was like, oh man, that's that's messed up.
- 13:51Speaker 2: And she goes, what do you mean his wife his
- 13:53Speaker 2: wife was thinking about leaving her? Yes, she was, Yes,
- 13:55Speaker 2: she was just because he lost fingers.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it was just a big ordeal. I was like,
- 14:00Speaker 3: that's messed up. Anyway. She goes, she goes, what would
- 14:03Speaker 3: you do if I if I lost an arm or something?
- 14:05Speaker 3: And I was like, oh man, well let me. And
- 14:09Speaker 3: I was like, I wouldn't even I stick with I
- 14:11Speaker 3: stick it out with you. She goes, are you serious? Yeah?
- 14:14Speaker 3: And I was like, yeah, you would, Yeah, why wouldn't you?
- 14:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it wouldn't be Like that's crazy to me that
- 14:20Speaker 2: the guys in a few fingers and I don't know
- 14:24Speaker 2: if I'd be able.
- 14:24Speaker 1: To do it.
- 14:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:25Speaker 3: She just couldn't handle it. And they didn't have no
- 14:27Speaker 3: kids together, so she was, you know, oh my god,
- 14:29Speaker 3: that's horrendous.
- 14:31Speaker 4: They don't have kids together.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Oh god. Okay, Brittany's got a question. Brittany, what did
- 14:37Speaker 3: you say? Go ahead?
- 14:37Speaker 4: And the best one I've ever heard. And my husband
- 14:40Speaker 4: had the best comeback for it.
- 14:41Speaker 3: I said, what's one of your ex girlfriends is your favorite?
- 14:44Speaker 6: And he sat there and he's dead.
- 14:45Speaker 3: I looked in my eyes you because you're my ex girlfriend,
- 14:48Speaker 3: because now you're my wife.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Oh, I've had somebody at your right, I have had
- 14:55Speaker 2: somebody ask me that my my ex. Brittany asked me
- 15:00Speaker 2: who my favorite X was and it almost stumped me up.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I almost answered it like an idiot, I don't answer,
- 15:06Speaker 2: and I was like, I don't like any of them,
- 15:08Speaker 2: you know, I favor yeah, your husband.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Wow, that was slick. I know, Brittany.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Thank you now now I'm prepared for that question. Thank
- 15:24Speaker 2: you very much. I appreciate you. You have a good day, Brittany.
- 15:28Speaker 2: All right, by Oh that was a good one. See
- 15:29Speaker 2: what are you gonna say?
- 15:30Speaker 3: Pooh? Like, let me ask you right now. I'll ask
- 15:33Speaker 3: you right now which one is which ex girlfriend of
- 15:35Speaker 3: yours is your favorite?
- 15:37Speaker 6: No?
- 15:37Speaker 2: No, none of them. Just not a homie. Just me
- 15:40Speaker 2: and you, Yeah, just us talking. And Kanas ain't here now,
- 15:45Speaker 2: Candas is here.
- 15:46Speaker 4: I'm here, but I'm cool.
- 15:49Speaker 3: She's one of the bros. Do you have a favorite? No,
- 15:52Speaker 3: I don't have a favorite. No. See this is where
- 15:55Speaker 3: you messed up. Now. You could have easily said the
- 15:57Speaker 3: mother of my three children.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Truly have a special place in my eye.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Oh so she's technically your favorite? Oh yeah? And also
- 16:07Speaker 3: does you miss her?
- 16:08Speaker 6: No?
- 16:09Speaker 1: No, These tough stories on the Dens with Billy the
- 16:12Speaker 1: Kid in the morning only on the new Mix one
- 16:15Speaker 1: O two point.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Nine Our Canna slow Pass? What is going on in
- 16:18Speaker 3: our crazy world?
- 16:19Speaker 5: Well, there are some airports across the country that are
- 16:21Speaker 5: seeing hours long delays because of TSA shortages. The Homeland
- 16:25Speaker 5: security shutdown shows no signs of ending soon, but a
- 16:29Speaker 5: lot of people, of course getting ready to travel for
- 16:31Speaker 5: Spring break over the next couple of weeks.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Looks like DFW.
- 16:34Speaker 5: International Airport pretty normal right now, with most weight times
- 16:38Speaker 5: under ten minutes. I think there's two spots where it's
- 16:40Speaker 5: around twenty minutes. But I do know yesterday some of
- 16:42Speaker 5: the longest wait times were down in Houston. People said
- 16:45Speaker 5: they had to wait one hundred and sixty five minutes.
- 16:48Speaker 4: That's what their board was showing there.
- 16:50Speaker 5: Atlanta's TSA wait time was an hour, but they're saying
- 16:54Speaker 5: there's different types of TSA staffing issues at different airports,
- 16:57Speaker 5: so it will vary. But one family Houston said it
- 17:00Speaker 5: took four hours to get through the line and then
- 17:03Speaker 5: they had to get in another line at customer service
- 17:05Speaker 5: because they couldn't get on their delayed flights.
- 17:08Speaker 4: So and that was by the time they finally got
- 17:10Speaker 4: to the gate. So that's frustrating much.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Drive Yeah, I don't know where we're going, but I'll drive.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Yeah, Houston hobby that was telling people to arrive four
- 17:19Speaker 5: to five hours before their flights. New Orleans three hours
- 17:23Speaker 5: before their flights, so just to.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Heads up, but not to mention gas prices and fuel
- 17:28Speaker 2: going up, so these airline tickets and flights are going
- 17:31Speaker 2: up as well.
- 17:32Speaker 5: Yes, analysts warning bumps and gas prices could be really
- 17:36Speaker 5: bad today due to the war and the Middle East.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Oil prices are on.
- 17:39Speaker 5: Track for their biggest ever jump in a single day,
- 17:43Speaker 5: but they've gone up seventeen percent since this conflict started
- 17:46Speaker 5: just over a week ago. The national averages right around
- 17:49Speaker 5: three dollars and forty five cents a gallon, but some
- 17:53Speaker 5: people are saying this could hit five or even six dollars.
- 17:55Speaker 4: A gallon here in Texas.
- 17:57Speaker 3: That's a lot.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Yeah, Like you talk about California and how it's that
- 18:00Speaker 4: have is there, but we're not used to that.
- 18:02Speaker 3: No, we're not. They're saying, in California it's gonna get
- 18:04Speaker 3: over eight eight bucks a gallon.
- 18:06Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Possibly. Yeah, that's so crazy.
- 18:10Speaker 4: That's a whole bunch.
- 18:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:11Speaker 5: It's like, well, we don't want to fly, it's too
- 18:12Speaker 5: expensive for spring break, will drive somewhere.
- 18:14Speaker 4: But now gas is expensive too.
- 18:16Speaker 3: So everything's so expensive.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure.
- 18:18Speaker 5: Well, if you're struggling to cope with springing forward over
- 18:21Speaker 5: the weekend, uh, here's some ways you could bounce back quickly.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Experts love to talk about.
- 18:26Speaker 5: This stuff, but they're saying, thinking of it as just
- 18:28Speaker 5: jet lag. You know, give your body a few days
- 18:31Speaker 5: to catch up, make sure you get outside and sleep
- 18:34Speaker 5: in if you can.
- 18:35Speaker 4: They're also saying, pay attention to.
- 18:37Speaker 5: What you eat, So give yourself an hour after waking
- 18:40Speaker 5: up before you eat, and then a few hours to
- 18:43Speaker 5: digest after eating before you go to bed, which is
- 18:46Speaker 5: still a good idea anyways.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean now we got to wait an hour
- 18:50Speaker 2: after we get up to eat. Yeah, who has time
- 18:52Speaker 2: to do all this? I know you just kind of
- 18:54Speaker 2: eat when we can.
- 18:55Speaker 4: It's so hard to be human. I don't know, it's
- 18:57Speaker 4: really hard.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I don't know if there's a good hack to get
- 18:59Speaker 2: over daylight. Seeming's like, I don't know. For whatever reason,
- 19:01Speaker 2: this time, I feel okay. Sometimes it hits me harder
- 19:05Speaker 2: than others. Yeah, but I feel okay today. It just
- 19:08Speaker 2: feels a little weird that it didn't get light till
- 19:10Speaker 2: like eight.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Yeah, and the clouds didn't help at all.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Yeah, that doesn't help.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Yeah, real quick, guys.
- 19:15Speaker 5: Justin Bieber had another run in with paparazzi Friday night
- 19:18Speaker 5: while leaving dinner with his wife.
- 19:20Speaker 4: So I guess.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Photographers were waiting in the parking garage as they went
- 19:23Speaker 5: to their car. He got irritated tossed a plastic water
- 19:28Speaker 5: bottle toward them before he shut the door.
- 19:30Speaker 4: That bottle didn't hit anyone, but they say it landed,
- 19:33Speaker 4: you know, on the ground before the car drove off.
- 19:36Speaker 3: And it's just like didn't hit anyone.
- 19:38Speaker 4: No, they were in a car service, so he wasn't driving.
- 19:41Speaker 4: The car just kind of took off.
- 19:43Speaker 5: But it's just it's always something with him because they
- 19:45Speaker 5: just won't stop.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Yeah, they won't do You remember the time he just
- 19:47Speaker 2: ran over paparazzi's foot.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Yeah, uh, and the guy tried to sue it.
- 19:51Speaker 2: I'm like, we'll get out of the way, right, Like
- 19:53Speaker 2: he's trying to move, he can't see.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Because there's lights.
- 19:56Speaker 2: And I don't ever stick up for celebrities usually, but
- 19:59Speaker 2: if don't stick up for pap Rozzi, Yeah.
- 20:01Speaker 5: Well it's like pedestrian has the right away or whatever.
- 20:03Speaker 5: But you're there trying to get pictures of me.
- 20:05Speaker 4: So what are you doing?
- 20:06Speaker 3: You know what?
- 20:06Speaker 4: You know, you're there in a dangerous spot.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that does have to get old.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Yeah, they're trying to capture him soon because he's headlining
- 20:14Speaker 5: Coachella next month. So everybody's all about Justin Bieber right now.
- 20:18Speaker 5: So yeah, but leave him alone, you know, give him
- 20:20Speaker 5: a break. I'm Canda Slopez. Those are your Texas Top Stories.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Nike's one O two point nine. Hopefully having a good
- 20:28Speaker 3: morning for a Monday.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Hopefully it's not too bad, especially after daylight saving time,
- 20:32Speaker 2: springing forward.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Being all confused on what's happening.
- 20:35Speaker 2: If you got a secret, let us know eight three
- 20:38Speaker 2: three seven eight seven one two nine, No matter what
- 20:40Speaker 2: you want to confess, just get it off your chest
- 20:43Speaker 2: and you've got a little sum sum what's going on?
- 20:45Speaker 3: Okay, So I know this sounds shady.
- 20:48Speaker 6: I don't think it's that big of a deal, but
- 20:51Speaker 6: I think this is something producer who would do.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Oh really, Oh it's got to be shady. Then, yeah,
- 20:59Speaker 3: what would talk about me? Okay? What do you do
- 21:04Speaker 3: to judge this?
- 21:05Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 21:06Speaker 6: All right?
- 21:06Speaker 7: My confession, I've been pretending to be a ride share driver,
- 21:16Speaker 7: So I'm not.
- 21:17Speaker 6: I'm not signed up on Uber or anything like that,
- 21:20Speaker 6: Uber or Lyft. But one of my homeboys used to be.
- 21:23Speaker 6: He just got a new job, and so he gave
- 21:26Speaker 6: me the light.
- 21:26Speaker 3: He used to have the Uber light or whatever.
- 21:29Speaker 7: It is you.
- 21:31Speaker 4: They put out in the windows.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Legal Okay, okay, so far he might do this. Go ahead.
- 21:42Speaker 6: I don't know if it's legal, but it looks legit enough.
- 21:45Speaker 6: So what I've been doing, I'll go to big events
- 21:48Speaker 6: around the around Dallas. I'll even go to Fort Worth
- 21:51Speaker 6: and like, I'll go to these packed places like the
- 21:53Speaker 6: American Airline Center, even the AT and T Stadium and
- 21:57Speaker 6: after a game when people are pouring out and they're like, oh, man, no,
- 22:00Speaker 6: it's all the chaos.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I just pull up.
- 22:02Speaker 7: I go, hey, guys, I'm taking people. I'm taking rides.
- 22:07Speaker 7: I'll charge you less.
- 22:08Speaker 3: I'll take you where you want to go. Oh and
- 22:12Speaker 3: you tell him don't go through the app.
- 22:15Speaker 6: Yep, I tell him don't go through the app.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Okay, we'll just do it through Venmo, and I charge
- 22:19Speaker 3: him cheaper. I've seen these guys. I've seen these guys
- 22:24Speaker 3: yes and back. I always thought I don't know if
- 22:27Speaker 3: it's I thought they were real Ubert or lift drivers
- 22:29Speaker 3: or whatever.
- 22:31Speaker 4: You think that's a real list.
- 22:33Speaker 3: No, but I've had him do this. I had them
- 22:34Speaker 3: do it the other day when I was leaving got Go.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I was trying to get to West seventh to go
- 22:38Speaker 2: to Coast Place, and I asked this guy. I was
- 22:41Speaker 2: just walking. I wasn't even doing it, and he says,
- 22:43Speaker 2: you want to ride him? Like, I'm only going like
- 22:44Speaker 2: a mile away. He goes, yeah, don't go through that.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I'll just take you and I go oh, okay, and
- 22:49Speaker 2: he goes seventy bucks and I was like seventy bucks.
- 22:52Speaker 3: I'm like no, he's like sixty.
- 22:55Speaker 2: I'm like no, dude, it's a seven dollar ride, right.
- 22:58Speaker 2: So is this something producer who would do?
- 23:00Speaker 3: Yes? Yes, it is. Wow. So you make money doing this.
- 23:06Speaker 6: Dude, And I make good money because I'll just charge
- 23:09Speaker 6: him a flat rate. But especially with all that beef,
- 23:12Speaker 6: all the stuff going on, it's most of the time
- 23:15Speaker 6: cheaper or it's worth it for him.
- 23:17Speaker 3: So they pop him.
- 23:18Speaker 6: Yeah, I'll take him with her going to go. Dude,
- 23:20Speaker 6: I've even got I've even got a couple of dates
- 23:23Speaker 6: out of it too.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Dates. You hit some girls? Oh my god, I told you.
- 23:30Speaker 4: I just went to that wedding Eric's cousin. They got married,
- 23:32Speaker 4: and he was a lyft driver and she was riding
- 23:34Speaker 4: in his lift. You're serious, that's what it was like
- 23:37Speaker 4: six years ago.
- 23:38Speaker 3: But you're singing lonely and this dude, this guy's making
- 23:41Speaker 3: money with dates.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Also, something who would do is ask a girl out
- 23:44Speaker 3: if he was a lyft driver. I need that light, homie. Okay.
- 23:53Speaker 3: I don't know what to say.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I don't I mean, it's not the shadiest thing you
- 23:57Speaker 2: could do, is it a little shady?
- 23:59Speaker 4: Carson would do something similar. They just your posing as.
- 24:03Speaker 3: A left driver, no background check.
- 24:05Speaker 4: I feel like they're trusting.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they see the light or whatever. They're like, well,
- 24:08Speaker 2: he's just trying to get around the fees. Yeah, and
- 24:11Speaker 2: that's it.
- 24:11Speaker 3: But they have no idea. You're not even a ride
- 24:13Speaker 3: to your driver at all.
- 24:15Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not that creepy.
- 24:18Speaker 6: And like normally I tell them, you know, when they
- 24:21Speaker 6: get in the cargo. Hey, just for the record, I'm
- 24:23Speaker 6: not actually with Uber, but I'll take you.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Oh now that would creep me out. Yeah, you car. Like,
- 24:29Speaker 3: by the way, I'm not a new you taking a risk. Bro.
- 24:33Speaker 5: We were trying to get out of a c l
- 24:34Speaker 5: last summer and I could not find a ride. If
- 24:37Speaker 5: this guy had pulled up, we've just been like cool
- 24:38Speaker 5: herero oh.
- 24:39Speaker 3: I would have paid Jeffrey Dahmer to drive it at
- 24:42Speaker 3: that point. Yeah, because we've walked.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I would have paid anybody like serial killer. Cool, can
- 24:47Speaker 2: you just take me over there and kill me?
- 24:49Speaker 7: Right?
- 24:49Speaker 4: It's like these busy events.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Or just yeah, I get it.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Okay, Well there you go. Confession, dirty little secret. That's
- 24:56Speaker 2: a good one. Now I know what who's going to
- 24:57Speaker 2: be doing this weekend, So sir, thank you so much.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Hey, thank you guys. I love the show. Hey, love
- 25:04Speaker 3: you more.
