- 2:26Dayna Roselli: And but there's a lot packed in in that 22 minutes, right?
- 2:29Dayna Roselli: There is.

- 2:35Dayna Roselli: Uh, the presenting sponsor of Vegas Revealed TV.
- 2:38Dayna Roselli: Hey, let's talk March Madness.
- 2:40Dayna Roselli: Now let's take it way back to 2020 when we first started the podcast.
- 2:43Sean McAllister: Oh man, we're rewinding the clock way back.
- 2:46Dayna Roselli: We were there at Legossi Stadium recording the podcast over at the Venetian Palazzo.
- 2:52Dayna Roselli: And gosh, the parking was free, remember?
- 2:55Sean McAllister: It was that that was like the highlight of going over there every week to record the podcast.
- 2:59Sean McAllister: We were like, oh my gosh, the parking is free.
- 3:02Sean McAllister: It was a simpler time back then.
- 3:03Dayna Roselli: It was a simpler time.
- 3:05Dayna Roselli: And I remember I had a friend in town, John Kill, when he was in town just for March Madness to watch all the games, to go to some of the games that were in town.
- 3:13Dayna Roselli: And we actually called him in the studio because they had started canceling some of the games because of the whole COVID surge.
- 3:20Sean McAllister: This crazy thing called COVID that we were all just learning about.
- 3:23Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 3:24Sean McAllister: Yeah, I remember when we walked in there to record our what ended up being our final episode ever at Legassi Stadium.
- 3:32Sean McAllister: There were bottles of hand sanitizer up on the bar.
- 3:35Sean McAllister: And I was like, this is wild.
- 3:37Sean McAllister: What kind of world are we living in?
- 3:39Sean McAllister: And now I get irritated if I walk into a place and there's not a hand sanitizer dispenser.
- 3:46Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 3:46Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 3:47Dayna Roselli: I asked someone the other day at one of the theaters, do you have a hand?
- 3:50Dayna Roselli: You know, is there hand sanit sanitizer?
- 3:52Dayna Roselli: And the girl's like, no.
- 3:53Dayna Roselli: And I was like, really?
- 3:54Dayna Roselli: Like, I gotta go all the way to the bathroom to wash my hands.
- 3:57Dayna Roselli: But I wanted to wash my hands because I had touched a couple railings.
- 4:00Sean McAllister: Right, I know.
- 4:00Sean McAllister: Let's not roll that back.
- 4:02Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 4:02Sean McAllister: I'm I'm all for sanitizer being readily available.
- 4:06Sean McAllister: But yeah, so that was a crazy time back beginning of March 2020.
- 4:11Sean McAllister: And little did we know.
- 4:14Dayna Roselli: Everything changed.
- 4:16Dayna Roselli: I had my last meal there at Legossi Stadium because John Kilb was my friend visiting from college, and we had a meal there, and that was the last meal out I had had for a very long time because then the world shut down.
- 4:27Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 4:27Dayna Roselli: Anyway, Legossi Stadium didn't reopen, and we've always said it was such a great space.
- 4:32Dayna Roselli: We loved it.
- 4:33Dayna Roselli: And we're excited to announce that this year they have reopened it just for March Mania, and it's now called the Stadium.
- 4:41Dayna Roselli: And we went over to get a quick sneak peek.
- 4:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, we uh it stepped into one of the luxury suites that they have.
- 4:49Sean McAllister: In addition to the main uh stadium area that uh literally has stadium seating in front of this massive uh TV wall.
- 4:59Sean McAllister: Um, they also have these luxury suites.
- 5:01Sean McAllister: So if you're going in there with a large group of people, they can accommodate that.
- 5:05Sean McAllister: You have your own private buffet, you have your own viewing locations, you have a door that opens to the patio, which is strip side, which is right on the strip.
- 5:14Sean McAllister: It's one of the best spaces in all of Las Vegas.
- 5:20Sean McAllister: We love it there.
- 5:21Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's great.
- 5:22Dayna Roselli: So we were happy to hear that they are opening uh for March Mania and doing some events.
- 5:28Dayna Roselli: You can reserve suites if you want, you can go watch the game.
- 5:31Dayna Roselli: We actually caught up with Brian File.
- 5:33Dayna Roselli: He's a vice president of food and beverage at the Venetian Palazzo, and we talked to him a little bit more about what you can expect.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: So you're located here at the stadium, which is the lower level of the Palazzo lobby, uh, where we're gonna activate brackets at the stadium for March Mania, and it'll be running from Thursday, March 21st through Saturday, March 23rd.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: It'll happen all day long.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: So guests are welcome to purchase tickets in advance at VenetianLosvegas.com.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: And then when they show up on the day of, they'll pick up their tickets.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: They can be here an hour before the event starts, and they'll get to enjoy all day food and beverage, great games, get their back their racket busted, or maybe win some money.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: So it's a great event.
- 6:11Sean McAllister: It was great to be back in that space again, and the stadium over at the Venetian Resort is going to be open for that first three days of games when it's wall-to-wall action, uh, March 21st through the 23rd.
- 6:26Sean McAllister: So if you're looking for a space, the stadium has room for you.
- 6:31Sean McAllister: They also have arcade games that they're bringing in.
- 6:34Sean McAllister: Some of those pop shot three throw, free, free throw.
- 6:38Sean McAllister: I need to be able to say that a little more fluidly now that March Madness is upon us.
- 6:44Sean McAllister: But yeah, they'll have the free throw games, arcade games.
- 6:48Dayna Roselli: I was eyeing uh Miss Pac-Man.
- 6:50Dayna Roselli: Oh and it was down for the moment.
- 6:52Dayna Roselli: And Brian, when we were talking to Brian, he said, I know everyone eyes that game.
- 6:56Dayna Roselli: I'm like, Yeah, because it's a simpler time.
- 6:57Dayna Roselli: You eat the dots and you run away from Martian men.
- 7:02Sean McAllister: Well, and did he know that you are like a record holder for Miss Pac-Man?
- 7:08Dayna Roselli: When everyone used to gather around me at the bowling alley and watch me play.
- 7:11Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 7:11Dayna Roselli: Because I was so good.
- 7:12Sean McAllister: Uh-huh.
- 7:13Dayna Roselli: Bowl roll.
- 7:14Dayna Roselli: Remember that?
- 7:14Dayna Roselli: With bowl roll.
- 7:15Dayna Roselli: Bowl roll in Henrietta, New York.
- 7:16Sean McAllister: Dana Roselli with the custom bowling ball.
- 7:20unknown: Yes.
- 7:21Dayna Roselli: All right, moving on.
- 7:22Dayna Roselli: Hey, maybe you want to go across the street, across from the wind, there's a mall there.
- 7:26Dayna Roselli: If you are visiting and you've never been, it's called Fashion Show.
- 7:29Dayna Roselli: If you're a local, you know what it is.
- 7:30Dayna Roselli: Um, they're doing a really cool activation that they're bringing back.
- 7:33Dayna Roselli: This is uh gorgeous.
- 7:35Dayna Roselli: You'll have to go to our social media or watch our Vegas revealed TV show to see the multicolored basketballs hanging from the sky.
- 7:42Dayna Roselli: They've got couches, uh, they have basketball hoops and some TVs too.
- 7:47Dayna Roselli: And this is a great spot if maybe you're shopping, you want to take a load off, maybe you've got a significant other with you or teenage kids and they want to stop off and watch the games.
- 7:56Dayna Roselli: But visit the fashion show for hoops in the hall.
- 7:59Dayna Roselli: It's right there in the Great Hall where they used to do the fashion shows.
- 8:03Sean McAllister: Also, um, there's a new spot that just opened up at Uncommons.
- 8:08Sean McAllister: This is an area that's off the strip um at 215, and Durango is the exit.
- 8:14Sean McAllister: Uh, it's called General Admission.
- 8:16Sean McAllister: It's a new sports bar that just opened up.
- 8:18Sean McAllister: We stopped over there for the grand opening.
- 8:20Sean McAllister: So that's another option if you're looking for a place away from Las Vegas Boulevard.
- 8:26Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and they're doing like if you wear some, you know, college basketball attire, you'll get a free drink, maybe an appetizer.
- 8:31Dayna Roselli: So check that out over there.
- 8:33Dayna Roselli: Hey, got a quick message from a listener named Barry.
- 8:36Dayna Roselli: He listens to Vegas Revealed, and he wanted us to know about his Facebook group that's actually just for March Madness.
- 8:42Sean McAllister: Barry, what's up?
- 8:43Dayna Roselli: And Barry says, you know what?
- 8:45Dayna Roselli: I've got this group, and it's a facebook.com and it's um backslash M M I L V.
- 8:52Dayna Roselli: So I'm assuming that stands for March Madness in Las Vegas.
- 8:55Sean McAllister: That makes sense to me.
- 8:56Dayna Roselli: He's got 18,000 members in there.
- 8:58Sean McAllister: Jeez.
- 8:59Dayna Roselli: And he said they all have like different connections to different events happening for March Madness in Las Vegas.
- 9:04Dayna Roselli: They do meetups.
- 9:06Dayna Roselli: So if you want to join that group, check out Barry's Facebook group if you're coming in or interested to know more about March Madness events.
- 9:13Sean McAllister: Well, and I think that just shows how popular Las Vegas is as a destination for March Madness.
- 9:19Sean McAllister: Because it really is so fun when all those games are on to be with a group of people who can really bring up the excitement level.
- 9:30Sean McAllister: When if you're with a group of friends, like that is just a great time to be here in Vegas, have the games be your focal point, but then have Las Vegas be the periphery of your trip.
- 9:42Sean McAllister: That's not a bad periphery to have.
- 9:44Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 9:44Dayna Roselli: No, definitely.
- 9:45Dayna Roselli: And there's I mean, why not?
- 9:46Dayna Roselli: Where it's the best, you know, and you can bet on things and watch while and that's exciting.
- 9:51Sean McAllister: It's very exciting.
- 9:52Dayna Roselli: You know, to see if you're gonna win.
- 9:53Dayna Roselli: Well, sometimes, maybe sometimes you lose, and well, it's not so great, but at least, you know, you can get a great cocktail after that drown your Zorro's.
- 10:01Sean McAllister: Yeah, exactly.
- 10:02Sean McAllister: That is all part of March Madness, though, having your bracket busted, the favorites are upset, and that's the end of your end of your run.
- 10:12Sean McAllister: But yeah, that's how brackets work.
- 10:13Sean McAllister: Exactly.
- 10:14Sean McAllister: That's how March Madness works.
- 10:15Sean McAllister: Of course, there is an endless list of bars, viewing locations, uh banquet halls that are being set up as viewing locations all over Las Vegas.
- 10:27Sean McAllister: Um, keep an eye on Vegas Revealed social media um and check out our Vegas Revealed TV show.
- 10:35Sean McAllister: We do have a list of some other viewing options there as well.
- 10:40Dayna Roselli: Hey, by the way, our Las Vegas Aces have sold out season tickets, and this is awesome because it's historic.
- 10:48Sean McAllister: Phenomenal.
- 10:49Dayna Roselli: They are the first WNBA team to sell out season tickets ever.
- 10:54Dayna Roselli: This is huge.
- 10:55Dayna Roselli: Congratulations to the aces, the champions for two years in a row.
- 11:00Dayna Roselli: I mean, they are killing it.
- 11:01Sean McAllister: Well, and I think that this is another testament to the not obviously the team being back-to-back champions, um, but uh also to the fan base here in Las Vegas.
- 11:16Sean McAllister: You know, we heard and saw so many headlines.
- 11:19Sean McAllister: Oh, Vegas isn't a sports town.
- 11:21Sean McAllister: Who's gonna support all these professional teams if they come to Las Vegas?
- 11:25Sean McAllister: Well, uh Las Vegas residents are going to support these teams and visitors are going to go and support these teams.
- 11:34Sean McAllister: So I I hope that all of that talk of Vegas not being a sports town is a thing of the past.
- 11:41Sean McAllister: Um, and the haters can quit with their hating.
- 11:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, exactly.
- 11:48Sean McAllister: Because this is a testament to the kind of town that Las Vegas really is.
- 11:53Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 11:53Dayna Roselli: We are a sports town, that's for sure.
- 11:55Dayna Roselli: Congratulations to the Las Vegas Aces.
- 11:59Sean McAllister: And by the way, Vegas Revealed is presented by Level Up Law.
- 12:03Sean McAllister: When storms wreak havoc on your property, all of that aftermath, the cleanup, you don't have to face that alone.
- 12:10Sean McAllister: Level Up Law is your ally in natural disaster recovery.
- 12:15Dayna Roselli: Yeah, whether it's property damage, wind resulting in down trees, wildfires, or water damage, their experienced team can help you.
- 12:23Dayna Roselli: Level Up Law also specializes in personal injury cases.
- 12:26Dayna Roselli: Call Level Up Law now at 855 Level Up.
- 12:30Dayna Roselli: That's 855 Level Up.
- 12:33Sean McAllister: Now let's take a journey a few blocks to the west of the Las Vegas strip, over to the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino.
- 12:43Sean McAllister: The lights on the outside of the building have recently caught our eyes, Dana.
- 12:48Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we were driving by and I was like, wow, look at that.
- 12:52Dayna Roselli: There were like dazzling, sparkling, falling from the top to the bottom.
- 12:56Dayna Roselli: And sometimes you have to catch it just right because they've been changing it and testing different things.
- 13:00Dayna Roselli: And actually, I put it out on Twitter and the Rio account wrote back and like, just wait.
- 13:04Dayna Roselli: So I wonder if, you know, it's all leading up to a even a bigger reveal, but we don't know that just yet.
- 13:11Dayna Roselli: But it sparked our interest and we thought we have to get over and see some of the changes over there.
- 13:15Sean McAllister: Yeah, uh, one of the big changes is in the space that uh formerly occupied the Carnival World Buffet.
- 13:23Sean McAllister: This was one of the most popular buffets in all of Las Vegas for decades.
- 13:29Sean McAllister: I mean, there was that huge seafood section that people just raved about.
- 13:35Sean McAllister: And of course, they had steaks, they had all of it over there.
- 13:39Sean McAllister: But now that space is the canteen food hall with a wide variety of food selections in there.
- 13:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, they've got ramen, sushi, chicken fingers, sandwiches, burritos, burgers, steak sandwiches, you name it.
- 13:53Dayna Roselli: They've got a lot of choice over there.
- 13:54Dayna Roselli: And that's the whole point of a food hall, right?
- 13:57Dayna Roselli: We were over there and we were able to talk with the executive chef.
- 14:01Sean McAllister: For people who haven't been over here since it was Carnival World Buffet, um, what kind of experience can they expect?
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: Uh, just a great staff, fresh food.
- 14:12Dayna Roselli: Food halls seem to be so much more popular lately.
- 14:14Dayna Roselli: People like them because why?
- 14:16Dayna Roselli: What in your in your opinion?
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: Just the wide variety of options they get in one location, in one spot.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: They can order multiple things from multiple.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: So we got Tony Luke, South Philly sandwiches, um, edible is like a small cake on the in and out, uh, fresh sushi hand rubbles, uh, chicken tenders, multiple sauces, um, and then our South Lam burrito, burritos, bubbles, salads.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: So it's great.
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: Great a lot of options.
- 14:44Dayna Roselli: A lot of options, some healthy, and then some really good hangover food, too.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: Yes, of course.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 14:49Sean McAllister: And that is Charles Smith, the executive chef over there at Canteen Food Hall.
- 14:53Sean McAllister: And uh, Dana, the other day I had uh one of the beefsteaks, the Philly style beefsteak, and from Tony Luke's, right?
- 15:02Sean McAllister: From Tony Luke's, and it was so good.
- 15:05Dayna Roselli: Yeah, they gave us some to go.
- 15:06Dayna Roselli: I gave them, I said, Sean, take it.
- 15:08Dayna Roselli: I can't eat anymore.
- 15:09Dayna Roselli: Because I was like, I need to fit into like my jeans because we ate so much there, but you said it was delicious.
- 15:15Sean McAllister: It was great.
- 15:15Sean McAllister: There was a, they actually, there was a a beefsteak and a pork sandwich.
- 15:21Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 15:21Sean McAllister: And the pork had so much flavor.
- 15:24Sean McAllister: Wow.
- 15:24Sean McAllister: It was great.
- 15:25Sean McAllister: They were both really good.
- 15:26Dayna Roselli: We had like the buffalo chicken fingers.
- 15:28Dayna Roselli: Oh gosh, we tried some of the sushi hand roll.
- 15:32Dayna Roselli: Oh, and then what was the um not the burger, but the um, it was it was like a burger but on flatbread.
- 15:39Sean McAllister: Oh, uh it was the it was when we were talking about it being it was on Texas toast.
- 15:45Dayna Roselli: Texas toast.
- 15:45Dayna Roselli: Was that I think that's what it's called.
- 15:46Dayna Roselli: Tech the Texas toast.
- 15:48Dayna Roselli: That was delicious.
- 15:49Sean McAllister: That was good.
- 15:50Dayna Roselli: I can't remember all the stuff we ate.
- 15:51Dayna Roselli: We ate so much.
- 15:52Dayna Roselli: The chicken sandwich had these amazing pickles on it.
- 15:54Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, the food was really good.
- 15:56Dayna Roselli: The burrito looked delicious.
- 15:58Dayna Roselli: You and I were just stuffed them.
- 15:59Dayna Roselli: We were like, I can't even do it.
- 16:00Dayna Roselli: The carne asada fries were great, those were yummy.
- 16:04Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 16:04Dayna Roselli: And, you know, just so you know, over at um Nama Nama, it's called, they actually make the rice fresh on the hour.
- 16:13Dayna Roselli: So, you know, they're constantly turning over fresh food there.
- 16:16Dayna Roselli: Check it out.
- 16:17Dayna Roselli: It's the Canteen Food Hall over at the Rio, right there as you walk in uh one of the main doors.
- 16:22Dayna Roselli: But we also heard about the room renovations, and we wanted to see those too.
- 16:25Sean McAllister: Yeah, uh there are on property about 2,500 rooms in total over at Rio.
- 16:33Sean McAllister: So far, they have renovated more than 1,400 of them.
- 16:37Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 16:38Sean McAllister: And they are good size rooms.
- 16:40Dayna Roselli: They are.
- 16:40Dayna Roselli: We walked into just like the regular room suite and we were like, wow, this is spacious, you know, some new furniture in there, so much room.
- 16:48Dayna Roselli: I mean, you know, sometimes you go into these rooms and they're so tiny, but this was a really great size.
- 16:54Dayna Roselli: And also we walked into one of the one bedroom suites and we were like, wow.
- 16:59Sean McAllister: Which is crazy.
- 17:00Sean McAllister: You walk into a living room over to the left is a full-size dining room table that seats like at least six people, probably eight.
- 17:11Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 17:12Sean McAllister: There was a a dry bar over on the side of the room, but then we walked into the bedroom, which was also massive, and there was a little surprise, a big surprise, over by the window.
- 17:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, they have a big tub right at the window.
- 17:27Dayna Roselli: So yeah, it's different.
- 17:28Dayna Roselli: That to me felt very um well, old Vegas and also very Niagara Falls.
- 17:34Dayna Roselli: We're from Niagara Falls area.
- 17:35Dayna Roselli: But you remember like the honeymoon suites in Niagara Falls?
- 17:38Dayna Roselli: Remember Superman 2?
- 17:39Dayna Roselli: Lois and Clark go there.
- 17:41Sean McAllister: Well, you can either get the in Niagara Falls, you can get the famous honeymoon suite with a heart-shaped bathtub, or you can get the one where you have to climb up the stairs and the bathtub is like the giant martini glass.
- 17:55unknown: Yes.
- 17:56Dayna Roselli: Okay, yeah, you've got it.
- 17:58Dayna Roselli: See, I knew you would know what I was talking about.
- 18:00Dayna Roselli: It reminded me of that.
- 18:01Dayna Roselli: But it's great.
- 18:02Dayna Roselli: Um, go to our social media, we and or watch our TV show.
- 18:05Dayna Roselli: We have video of all this, by the way.
- 18:07Dayna Roselli: But then you actually then there's a separate bathroom with a gorgeous shower, all redone.
- 18:11Dayna Roselli: Everything's new, super spacious.
- 18:14Sean McAllister: Uh, they do have deals on the Rio's website.
- 18:16Sean McAllister: Um, I know for a fact through March they could be going on uh beyond that.
- 18:22Sean McAllister: But if you are looking for a staycation, have friends coming into town, have uh family coming to visit.
- 18:28Sean McAllister: The Rio in in choosing some of their upgraded rooms, it's not a bad option.
- 18:34Sean McAllister: Very affordable right now.
- 18:36Dayna Roselli: I know it's it's a good deal.
- 18:38Dayna Roselli: Uh, they are just done renovating the pool, by the way, as well, if you want to go there.
- 18:43Dayna Roselli: Also, it's transitioning into a destination by Hyatt brand this fall.
- 18:48Dayna Roselli: So there's that as well.
- 18:50Dayna Roselli: And then, you know, it's owned by Dreamscape.
- 18:52Dayna Roselli: We're gonna get over and try and interview uh Dreamscape at some point.
- 18:56Dayna Roselli: We've got that on the agenda to find out more.
- 18:58Dayna Roselli: But, you know, I'm glad that you know what, they didn't tear it down.
- 19:01Dayna Roselli: Um, they Dreamscape took it over and they're they're doing the proper renovations.
- 19:06Sean McAllister: And actually, that center bar where uh I've had many, many late nights is being completely redone right now.
- 19:15Sean McAllister: It's all walled off, they're totally redoing that uh famous Rio center bar.
- 19:22Sean McAllister: So that'll be another great addition.
- 19:25Sean McAllister: They're really investing in that property and um really hoping to bring it back to the popular place that it once was.
- 19:37Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 19:37Dayna Roselli: The Chippendales are still there.
- 19:39Dayna Roselli: That's the one staple.
- 19:40Sean McAllister: The Chippendales are still there, and they're still doing great.
- 19:44Dayna Roselli: Taking off their clothes and dancing for everyone.
- 19:47Dayna Roselli: We're gonna head over to Chippendale soon, by the way, because they've got a new celebrity host.
- 19:50Dayna Roselli: We'll fill you in on that another time.
- 19:53Dayna Roselli: Hey, by the way, I went to new edition at the win.
- 19:55Dayna Roselli: We talked about this last week.
- 19:57Dayna Roselli: It was excellent.
- 19:58Dayna Roselli: The show was great.
- 19:59Dayna Roselli: I loved it, Sean.
- 20:01Dayna Roselli: Um, loved, loved, loved it.
- 20:03Dayna Roselli: Uh, got to go backstage and and take a pick with Bobby Brown.
- 20:07Dayna Roselli: Nice.
- 20:08Dayna Roselli: Bobby was there, and he went and during the show, he sings a bunch of his solo music, you know, My Prerogative and Tenderone.
- 20:13Dayna Roselli: Oh my god.
- 20:14Dayna Roselli: The crowd was insane.
- 20:15Dayna Roselli: They were going nuts over this.
- 20:17Dayna Roselli: New Edition sang all their hits.
- 20:20Dayna Roselli: Uh, they were great.
- 20:21Dayna Roselli: Um, they sang some covers.
- 20:23Dayna Roselli: Uh, Johnny Gill part of it as well, sang some of his solo stuff.
- 20:27Dayna Roselli: Belle Bib Devoe.
- 20:28Dayna Roselli: It was a fantastic show.
- 20:30Dayna Roselli: I can't recommend it enough if you love that kind of music and you remember New Edition.
- 20:36Dayna Roselli: Um, go see the show.
- 20:37Dayna Roselli: They're doing six more shows in July and they will sell out quick.
- 20:41Sean McAllister: Yeah, I know.
- 20:42Sean McAllister: I was so first of all, I was excited for you because I know you've been looking forward to this show since they first announced it.
- 20:50Sean McAllister: So I was excited for you to go and experience it.
- 20:54Sean McAllister: I wasn't able to go and see the show.
- 20:56Sean McAllister: But then seeing, I feel like that entire theater was full of people who were on the same excitement level that you were.
- 21:04Dayna Roselli: Totally were.
- 21:05Dayna Roselli: I mean, that's the thing, and that's why the vibe is so good because you're like, I'm not alone.
- 21:09Dayna Roselli: Like, and you watch people like filming with their phones, even.
- 21:12Dayna Roselli: And while they're filming, they're singing every word of the song.
- 21:15Dayna Roselli: So it's funny because they're like, me and my friend were laughing, like, everyone's phone was up, but they were like singing the song as they were filming it.
- 21:21Dayna Roselli: And you know, you've got those people who love to like film the whole show, right?
- 21:24Dayna Roselli: You know, others that, but it was um, it was great.
- 21:27Dayna Roselli: I I agree.
- 21:28Dayna Roselli: We were all on the same level, and and kudos to them for selling out all their shows and for putting six more dates on.
- 21:35Dayna Roselli: I love that for new edition, and I just had a fabulous time.
- 21:40Dayna Roselli: So, again, if you want to see them, they are back in July for six shows at the Encore Theater at The Win.
- 21:45Sean McAllister: How much are we betting that there might be more shows after these six?
- 21:49Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 21:50Dayna Roselli: I think there might be.
- 21:51Dayna Roselli: There's gonna be demand.
- 21:52Sean McAllister: Well, I mean, there is already demand for these first ones.
- 21:55Dayna Roselli: So when I watch the videos on my phone, I smile and like giggle and like.
- 22:00Sean McAllister: I'm feeling almost giddy right now.
- 22:01Dayna Roselli: Rewatching it.
- 22:02Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 22:02Dayna Roselli: It was so good.
- 22:04Sean McAllister: All right, let's get to tips.
- 22:11Sean McAllister: This week, our tip brings us just to the east of the Las Vegas Strip to the Tuscany Suites and Casino, where we stopped in to have dinner at the newly renovated Bisteca Italian Steakhouse.
- 22:27Sean McAllister: And they renovated the dining room.
- 22:30Sean McAllister: The decor is all new.
- 22:32Sean McAllister: The menu is delicious.
- 22:35Sean McAllister: We had a great time over there.
- 22:37Dayna Roselli: We did.
- 22:38Dayna Roselli: They have an amazing wine program.
- 22:39Dayna Roselli: It feels very elevated.
- 22:41Dayna Roselli: It is a nice Italian steakhouse.
- 22:43Dayna Roselli: And we didn't know what to expect because we had never been there before.
- 22:46Dayna Roselli: So they did the renovations, they reimagined everything.
- 22:49Dayna Roselli: And we were like, wow, this is nice.
- 22:52Dayna Roselli: And it, you know, it's not, it's like dark kind of feeling.
- 22:55Dayna Roselli: Um, like if you want to go to a nice dinner, go here.
- 22:58Sean McAllister: Well, and I had no idea.
- 22:59Sean McAllister: So you walk into uh the Tuscany and you walk into the casino area, and but you have to go down like this hallway to get back to where uh Bisteca is, and right across from Bisteca is this great lounge that has live music every night.
- 23:19Sean McAllister: And it was nice.
- 23:20Sean McAllister: It was a great, I was like, this is a really it's a modern lounge, but it gives you like an old Vegas feel.
- 23:29Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 23:30Dayna Roselli: I mean, you know what?
- 23:31Dayna Roselli: It just seemed like a hotel that was easy to navigate and that had everything.
- 23:34Dayna Roselli: If you're staying even for for a little while, they had like a business center.
- 23:38Dayna Roselli: Remember, we passed like a gift shop with store with necessities in it.
- 23:42Dayna Roselli: The pool was in the back, you know, like you said, yeah.
- 23:45Dayna Roselli: The live cocktail lounge uh with music, and then the nice steakhouse, and then other, you know, dining options as well, full casino.
- 23:52Dayna Roselli: I mean, we were like, okay, this is the real deal.
- 23:55Dayna Roselli: And here's the deal, and this is why we made it a tip.
- 23:58Dayna Roselli: Um, people are catching on to this, and they're gonna do more renovations at the Tuscany.
- 24:03Dayna Roselli: And like, so we're saying, like, go to the steakhouse and check it out.
- 24:06Dayna Roselli: But also, here's another tip: they were telling us that, you know, a lot of people are staying there because it's somewhat close to the sphere.
- 24:14Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 24:15Dayna Roselli: And we never thought of that.
- 24:16Dayna Roselli: It seems like it could be far, but it's not.
- 24:18Dayna Roselli: It's right there on Flamingo, and there's Howard Hughes Parkway that goes straight over to Sands and uh brings you right to the sphere.
- 24:27Dayna Roselli: And so apparently people are stopping in there first for dinner or a drink and then walking to the sphere, or they're staying there and going to the sphere.
- 24:35Dayna Roselli: Some people are coming into town just to see the outside of the sphere and staying there because they figure they're in proximity, and it's just something that we never thought of.
- 24:45Dayna Roselli: So they're like, you know what, we need to meet this demand.
- 24:47Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 24:48Sean McAllister: So crowds from the sphere have been uh calling Tuscany home during their during their visits, also during uh Formula One.
- 24:57Sean McAllister: It was the hotel where all the media were staying to cover the the race and uh having all those uh visitors in town, you know, Tuscany was like, yeah, let's keep bringing these people in, but let's provide an elevated experience for them.
- 25:15Sean McAllister: And so between the sphere and F1 and serving uh just the general population that they see on a regular basis, Tuscany is like, Yep, we're up in our game.
- 25:27Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 25:27Dayna Roselli: I'm so happy for them.
- 25:29Dayna Roselli: I'm so glad to hear this.
- 25:30Dayna Roselli: It's an easy in and out parking lot right up front.
- 25:32Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 25:33Sean McAllister: It's so great.
- 25:34Dayna Roselli: So I think that's wonderful.
- 25:36Dayna Roselli: I'm glad we were able to get over there and be able to kind of bring awareness to this to let people know.
- 25:41Dayna Roselli: I know we have visitors from around the world that listen to the podcast and look it up.
- 25:45Dayna Roselli: It's the Tuxany Tuscany Suites and Casino, and check it out.
- 25:50Dayna Roselli: I know there's talk about redoing the rooms and other upgrades, like we mentioned.
- 25:54Dayna Roselli: So um, it's a work in progress, but pretty nice.
- 25:57Dayna Roselli: We we didn't do too well on the slots after, but no, we didn't.
- 26:00Sean McAllister: But you know what?
- 26:01Sean McAllister: You could say that about just about any property.
- 26:04Dayna Roselli: That's true.
- 26:04Sean McAllister: I've not done well on slots anywhere lately.
- 26:08Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 26:09Dayna Roselli: Hey, thanks for listening, everyone, uh, to episode 212.
- 26:13Dayna Roselli: We'll be back with 213.
- 26:15Dayna Roselli: Next week, again, you can check out our Vegas Revealed TV show on Fox Five.
- 26:19Dayna Roselli: If not, um, we also put them on our YouTube channel after they air, so you can see them there.
- 26:25Sean McAllister: A big thank you to uh the Vegas Near Me app for sponsoring Vegas Revealed.
- 26:32Sean McAllister: Also, thank you to our presenting sponsor, Level Up Law.
- 26:36Sean McAllister: If you need a lawyer for just about anything, give them a call, 855 Level Up.
- 26:41Dayna Roselli: Hey, and next week, uh, this week, actually, we already did, but this is gonna be in next week's podcast.
- 26:46Dayna Roselli: We interviewed comedian and actress Lunel.
- 26:51Sean McAllister: I can't wait to share this.
- 26:52Dayna Roselli: We had so many laughs with her.
- 26:54Sean McAllister: I love her.
- 26:55Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, she was a blast.
- 26:57Dayna Roselli: She got a key to the strip, a proclamation, and she was loving it.
- 27:00Dayna Roselli: We met her over at Jimmy Kimmel's comedy club.
- 27:02Sean McAllister: It was her birthday.
- 27:03Dayna Roselli: It was her birthday.
- 27:04Dayna Roselli: It was all sorts of celebrations.
- 27:05Dayna Roselli: We talked to her about the next season of Hacks because she's in that television show.
- 27:09Dayna Roselli: Um, and then also we are stopping by the brand new Esther's Kitchen in downtown Las Vegas.
- 27:14Dayna Roselli: The other one was so popular.
- 27:16Dayna Roselli: James Trees, the chef, award-winning chef, had to shut it down and then build one that was bigger and renovate.
- 27:24Dayna Roselli: And so we're going over to get a first look and have lunch there.
- 27:26Dayna Roselli: Uh, actually, right now.
- 27:28Sean McAllister: Yeah, it is just right now.
- 27:30Sean McAllister: So we need to wrap up so that we can get on the road and go get more content for you for next week.
- 27:34Dayna Roselli: Have a good one.
