- 0:58Speaker 4: the official fill-in host for Wayne Allen Root. If you
- 1:00Speaker 4: didn't know that, I've been doing that for, I think,
- 1:03Speaker 4: eight or nine years. I know where Wayne is tonight,
- 1:05Speaker 4: but I'll let him tell you.
- 1:07Speaker 5: I don't want to let.
- 1:07Speaker 4: The cat out of the bag. The show is War Zone.
- 1:11Speaker 4: And you can watch right now at Patriot TV. You
- 1:13Speaker 4: can watch at the Gateway Pundit. You can go to
- 1:15Speaker 4: Root for America. You can go on as X's getter
- 1:18Speaker 4: and all these other locations, all the great radio stations
- 1:21Speaker 4: from one coast to another. Welcome aboard. I have a
- 1:23Speaker 4: very special guest. And over the last 25 years of
- 1:28Speaker 4: me doing radio, I've built. I think a great relationship
- 1:31Speaker 4: with some friends at the Heritage Foundation. And this gentleman
- 1:33Speaker 4: has been on with me a number of times in
- 1:35Speaker 4: the past. He's as smart as it gets. Hans von
- 1:38Speaker 4: Spakoski is joining us from that Heritage Foundation. So, Hans,
- 1:43Speaker 4: good afternoon. Thanks for waiting around. I appreciate it. I
- 1:45Speaker 4: appreciate you coming on.
- 1:47Speaker 5: Well, thanks for having me.
- 1:49Speaker 4: So I know I want to cover two, if you
- 1:51Speaker 4: don't mind, we can cover two topics in the time
- 1:54Speaker 4: that we have. And I know there was a piece
- 1:56Speaker 4: in Fox News, which you've been on all these major
- 1:59Speaker 4: networks talking about this. And, of course, you can get
- 2:01Speaker 4: followed on The X and other locations. It's a great follow.
- 2:05Speaker 4: But Arctic Frost, if you don't mind, I mean, maybe
- 2:09Speaker 4: there's some people out there who don't know exactly what
- 2:11Speaker 4: this is all about. Can you give the abridged version
- 2:13Speaker 4: of what Arctic Frost is?
- 2:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:18Speaker 6: Merrick Garland Justice Department during the Biden administration approved this
- 2:23Speaker 6: huge criminal investigation. It was run by special counsel Jack Smith,
- 2:29Speaker 6: same guy that, you know, of course, went after Donald Trump.
- 2:32Speaker 6: And in essence, anyone who was associated with Donald Trump,
- 2:37Speaker 6: any conservatives who had voiced opposition to Biden policies and
- 2:44Speaker 6: campaign and who raised questions, about the outcome of the
- 2:49Speaker 6: 2020 election became the subject of this huge criminal investigation.
- 2:56Speaker 6: It was, frankly, one of the most outrageous abuses the
- 3:00Speaker 6: government power have ever seen. What's been happening recently is
- 3:05Speaker 6: Kash Patel at the FBI has been turning over all
- 3:08Speaker 6: these documents they found there. to the US Senator, of course,
- 3:13Speaker 6: from Iowa, Chuck Grassley, and he's been making this public.
- 3:17Speaker 6: And to give folks an idea how big this was,
- 3:21Speaker 6: they issued literally almost hundreds, hundreds of subpoenas to seize
- 3:28Speaker 6: the banking records, for example, of all these conservative organizations
- 3:34Speaker 6: and individuals, when they had absolutely no basis for doing that,
- 3:39Speaker 6: they even seized the phone records of nine members of
- 3:44Speaker 6: the U.S.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Senate and a member of the U.S.
- 3:47Speaker 6: House, which is an unbelievable attack on Congress and the
- 3:52Speaker 6: very fact that because they raised questions about the 2020 election,
- 4:00Speaker 6: They were being investigated for that. Let me, Lee, make
- 4:04Speaker 6: one final thing about this. People need to understand. All
- 4:09Speaker 6: of this was First Amendment protected activity. There is nothing
- 4:14Speaker 6: criminal about raising questions about the outcome of election, even.
- 4:18Speaker 5: If you're totally wrong. It doesn't matter.
- 4:20Speaker 6: It doesn't matter whether you're right or wrong. It's First
- 4:24Speaker 6: Amendment protected activity. This is much worse than Watergate.
- 4:29Speaker 4: So what's the criminality of it? How do they justify
- 4:33Speaker 4: doing this? What crime were they looking for?
- 4:37Speaker 6: They tried to claim that... Remember, Jack Smith... filed a
- 4:43Speaker 6: criminal case against Donald Trump in the federal courts in Washington, D.C.
- 4:50Speaker 6: And he tried to claim that this violated, he had
- 4:54Speaker 6: violated federal fraud statutes, criminal fraud statutes, because they tried
- 5:01Speaker 6: to defraud the United States of the outcome of the
- 5:06Speaker 6: 2020 election.
- 5:08Speaker 5: I mean, it was a bogus....
- 5:11Speaker 6: Bogus claim from the start, and certainly they had no
- 5:14Speaker 6: basis for even expanding.
- 5:16Speaker 5: I mean, they didn't have a basis for it against Trump.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Right.
- 5:19Speaker 6: They certainly had no basis against all these other organizations.
- 5:24Speaker 6: This was targeting the political enemies of the Biden administration.
- 5:30Speaker 4: But in order to do these investigations and get these taps,
- 5:34Speaker 4: these information, don't they have to present that to somebody
- 5:37Speaker 4: who has to sign off on that? I would think, right?
- 5:40Speaker 5: Well, Yeah, good point.
- 5:42Speaker 6: In fact, for example, the judge who approved the subpoenas,
- 5:47Speaker 6: secret subpoenas, of the phone records.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Of the U.S.
- 5:51Speaker 6: Senators was our old friend Judge Boasberg of the D.C. Circuit,
- 5:56Speaker 6: who's been involved in so many things. He, by the way,
- 6:00Speaker 6: blatantly violated federal law. There is a federal statute that protects.
- 6:07Speaker 3: U.S.
- 6:07Speaker 6: Senate communications, and in fact says that if there's some
- 6:11Speaker 6: kind of subpoena or other lawful process issued to get
- 6:17Speaker 6: their records, they have to be notified. And it specifically
- 6:23Speaker 6: says no court, no judge can override that statute and
- 6:28Speaker 6: keep it secret. And yet that's exactly what Boasberg did.
- 6:32Speaker 6: That's exactly what Jack Smith did, violating that federal statute.
- 6:37Speaker 4: So where does this end up, Hans? Where does it go?
- 6:41Speaker 6: Well, I tell you, part of the problem here with
- 6:44Speaker 6: a lot of this is, you know, the statute of
- 6:46Speaker 6: limitations is five years under most federal statutes, and we're
- 6:49Speaker 6: pretty much past that. But what has to happen is,
- 6:52Speaker 6: I think, two things. First of all, listen, everybody out there,
- 6:57Speaker 6: including you, by the way, everybody should check the list
- 7:01Speaker 6: of that the senator has put out of the people
- 7:05Speaker 6: whose records were secretly seized. And if you see your
- 7:09Speaker 6: name on a list, you see your organization on the list,
- 7:13Speaker 6: you need to immediately file a Freedom of Information Act
- 7:16Speaker 6: request with the FBI, the DOJ, to demand copies of
- 7:21Speaker 6: whatever documents, whatever files they got from you. And then
- 7:26Speaker 6: once you've gotten that, take a look and see whether
- 7:28Speaker 6: you believe you've got a civil rights lawsuit. that you
- 7:33Speaker 6: can file against the FBI, DOJ, and people like Jack Smith.
- 7:38Speaker 5: The other thing that needs to happen.
- 7:39Speaker 6: Is continued disclosure of this so we can get the
- 7:43Speaker 6: names of every single federal employee who was involved in
- 7:49Speaker 6: this at the FBI and the Justice Department to ensure
- 7:53Speaker 6: that they no longer work there, because none of them
- 7:56Speaker 6: can be trusted to ever be in a government position.
- 7:59Speaker 4: I tell you, when you say that about me being
- 8:01Speaker 4: on a list or someone else who might be in
- 8:03Speaker 4: this media on a list or you might be on
- 8:06Speaker 4: a list, I was just going to ask you. I mean,
- 8:08Speaker 4: Heritage Foundation has to be public enemy number one of
- 8:11Speaker 4: these guys, right? Were you guys on this list?
- 8:16Speaker 5: For some reason, we weren't.
- 8:17Speaker 6: But I'm involved with another organization, which you guys may
- 8:22Speaker 6: have talked to before, the Public Interest Legal Foundation.
- 8:25Speaker 5: They were on the list.
- 8:27Speaker 6: And their bank records were seized without them knowing a
- 8:30Speaker 6: thing about it.
- 8:31Speaker 5: In fact, you know, the only person.
- 8:34Speaker 6: Whose company, whose phone company refused to turn over the
- 8:39Speaker 6: records was Ted Cruz's company, AT & T. They said
- 8:44Speaker 6: they wouldn't turn over the records. And so his records
- 8:48Speaker 6: didn't get turned over. But every other phone company, they
- 8:51Speaker 6: all turned it over.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Wow.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Hans von Spakoski is with us, Heritage Foundation, Heritage.org. And unfortunately,
- 8:58Speaker 4: we don't have too much time, but I wanted to
- 8:59Speaker 4: ask you a second question on a second topic, which
- 9:02Speaker 4: was what had happened out in Berkeley. And, you know,
- 9:06Speaker 4: this whole idea about them, you know, almost physically getting
- 9:11Speaker 4: violent over Turning Point and some of this. Can you
- 9:14Speaker 4: give everybody that 30,000-foot view of that, those who may
- 9:17Speaker 4: have missed that story?
- 9:19Speaker 5: Well, look, the university should have known this was coming.
- 9:23Speaker 6: They clearly did not prepare the kind of security that
- 9:26Speaker 6: was needed to prevent this from happening. The Justice Department
- 9:31Speaker 6: is opening up an investigation of them, and they should,
- 9:34Speaker 6: because there's a possible federal case for the university violating
- 9:39Speaker 6: the civil rights of these students, the rights of these
- 9:43Speaker 6: students to peacefully enjoy their education. That's a violation of
- 9:48Speaker 6: federal law. And the university needs to be hit with this.
- 9:53Speaker 6: They obviously, like I said, didn't take the steps necessary
- 9:56Speaker 6: to do it. And if they don't expel the students...
- 10:00Speaker 6: who were arrested, that tells you they're not taking this seriously.
- 10:04Speaker 4: And I think UC Berkeley receives hundreds of millions in
- 10:08Speaker 4: federal funds every single year, right?
- 10:10Speaker 7: Yes.
- 10:11Speaker 4: So that puts them even more under this microscope. And,
- 10:14Speaker 4: you know, in a general sense, the whole— and I think
- 10:18Speaker 4: we may have talked about this in the past. I
- 10:19Speaker 4: talk about it a lot. But the whole idea of
- 10:22Speaker 4: going to college is a free exchange of thoughts and ideas.
- 10:25Speaker 4: I mean, God, that's what it's about. And every time
- 10:28Speaker 4: you turn around, these ultra-progressive groups are trying to shut
- 10:31Speaker 4: that down.
- 10:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:33Speaker 6: No, they want— the other side to be silenced. They
- 10:37Speaker 6: do not want us to speak. They don't believe in
- 10:40Speaker 6: the First Amendment because, look, they are, in essence, totalitarians.
- 10:47Speaker 6: And they do not like anyone opposing them, and they
- 10:49Speaker 6: don't want anyone speaking up and opposing them.
- 10:52Speaker 5: And that's why, look, almost all the violence we're seeing,
- 10:55Speaker 5: where is it coming from? the left side of the
- 10:58Speaker 5: political amount.
- 10:59Speaker 4: Absolutely, 1,000%. Hans, I know you're a super busy man.
- 11:02Speaker 4: I really appreciate it. Where can folks find out more
- 11:05Speaker 4: about you and everything that's going on at Heritage?
- 11:07Speaker 5: They can go to heritage.org, heritage.org, and see everything I
- 11:11Speaker 5: write there.
- 11:12Speaker 4: I appreciate you, brother. I appreciate you coming on, and
- 11:14Speaker 4: thank you so much. I'll talk soon.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Sure thing.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Bye-bye.
- 11:17Speaker 5: You got it.
- 11:17Speaker 1: There you go.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Hans von Spakoski, heritage.org. You can go follow him on
- 11:21Speaker 4: the X. It's a great follow on the X as well.
- 11:24Speaker 4: All right, so we still have a little bit to
- 11:26Speaker 4: get to, 45 minutes to go. Coming up after the
- 11:29Speaker 4: bottom of the hour, we'll talk to State Representative Greg
- 11:31Speaker 4: Howard about the ICE issue in not only the state
- 11:34Speaker 4: of Connecticut, but around the country as well.
- 11:36Speaker 1: All that.
- 11:36Speaker 4: And a whole bunch more. LeeLCRadio at gmail.com. Feel free
- 11:39Speaker 4: to email me. We'll come right back. You are listening
- 11:42Speaker 4: and watching The War Zone.

- 15:04Speaker 5: All right.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. It's War Zone. Wayne Allen
- 15:10Speaker 4: Root is not here tonight, but yours truly, the LCV
- 15:15Speaker 4: voice of freedom is. And I'm always fortunate. All the
- 15:18Speaker 4: great folks behind the scenes making it all go, whether
- 15:21Speaker 4: it's the folks at Patriot TV or the folks on
- 15:24Speaker 4: the radio side of it. It's always my honor and
- 15:26Speaker 4: a pleasure to get a chance to work with such
- 15:28Speaker 4: great professionals who are getting it done every single night. Now,
- 15:32Speaker 4: this segment is sponsored by Lost Soldier and Gas. This
- 15:37Speaker 4: second term presidency of Donald Trump is all about what? Drill, baby,
- 15:41Speaker 4: drill and knocking down inflation by making America the energy capital.
- 15:46Speaker 4: of the entire world. And this one project could be
- 15:50Speaker 4: the centerpiece for that goal. Law Soldier Oil and Gas
- 15:55Speaker 4: has been founded by second generation oil and gas legend
- 15:59Speaker 4: Mark Bruner. His companies have created more than $ 15 billion
- 16:02Speaker 4: in shareholder value, including Ultra Petroleum, which went from, get this.
- 16:06Speaker 1: $ 0.
- 16:06Speaker 4: 15 to $ 200 per share at its peak. A $ 10, 000
- 16:12Speaker 4: investment got you $ 13 million. I mean, I don't have $ 10, 000,
- 16:15Speaker 4: but imagine $ 1, 000 to throw at this, or $ 1.
- 16:18Speaker 1: 3 million.
- 16:19Speaker 4: That's like party time. Was it? Was that party time?
- 16:24Speaker 1: No.
- 16:24Speaker 4: What was that? I can't think of it now. Remember
- 16:27Speaker 4: that show, Love American Style? At least it doesn't matter.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Lost Soldier is Mark's new project. It took 40 years
- 16:34Speaker 4: to piece together and $ 40, 000. acre giant gas discovery field.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Mark believes it's the last major basin centered gas accumulation
- 16:43Speaker 4: play in the entire country. Lost soldier giant gas discovery
- 16:46Speaker 4: could become as renowned as the Permian Basin. The plan
- 16:49Speaker 4: is to install a pipeline connection for immediate cash flow
- 16:52Speaker 4: this year. And again, to continue to explore and develop
- 16:56Speaker 4: the remaining oil and gas over decades to come. Lost
- 16:59Speaker 4: Soldier is also planning to go public in the next
- 17:02Speaker 4: couple of years. This is basically the right time, the
- 17:05Speaker 4: right place, the right management team. And again, the right
- 17:07Speaker 4: president to get involved. What are you waiting for? LostSoldier.com.
- 17:11Speaker 4: That's LostSoldier.com. You fill out the contact form, LostSoldier.com. If
- 17:17Speaker 4: you're an accredited investor, give them a holler. kind of
- 17:22Speaker 4: screwed that one up. Sorry about that. What was the
- 17:25Speaker 4: name of that show? I can't think of it now.
- 17:27Speaker 4: When I was a kid, it was on all the time.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Love American Style?
- 17:30Speaker 5: Is that right?
- 17:31Speaker 3: Does that sound right?
- 17:31Speaker 4: I don't know why I'm thinking about that. Anyway, nobody
- 17:34Speaker 4: cares about that. I thought this was kind of interesting.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Somebody sent me this, and I'll share it. If you
- 17:41Speaker 4: got a beef with the president building a ballroom on
- 17:45Speaker 4: donated money from big benefactors, if you will, or big
- 17:49Speaker 4: business folks.
- 17:51Speaker 4: How about this question? Which is worse, a ballroom paid
- 17:57Speaker 4: by private donors or a football stadium built with a
- 18:02Speaker 4: billion dollars in taxpayer-funded monies? Think about that. Let that
- 18:06Speaker 4: sink in for a second. This happens, right? Trump is
- 18:09Speaker 4: at least getting people to donate to build a ballroom.
- 18:13Speaker 4: By the way, I'm Mr. Fiscal Conservative, but if other
- 18:18Speaker 4: people are going to pay for it, the The White House,
- 18:21Speaker 4: Washington needs a meeting place for these guys to go
- 18:25Speaker 4: have their fancy, important dinners. I mean, we can't be
- 18:29Speaker 4: in a tent outside, which is exactly what they do. So, yeah,
- 18:33Speaker 4: I'm sorry. I have no problem with this. And I
- 18:35Speaker 4: know this is kind of sunk out of the headlines recently.
- 18:39Speaker 4: I mean, it was a big deal for a little while.
- 18:41Speaker 4: The Democrats screamed and yelled about it. Bulldozers, you know,
- 18:44Speaker 4: because there was all this action going wild. You know,
- 18:47Speaker 4: the folks were not in inaction like we had a
- 18:51Speaker 4: 42 day breakdown of of the government. But I mean,
- 18:56Speaker 4: I'm just saying, you know, you got these multimillion dollar
- 19:00Speaker 4: billionaires actually who are owning these football teams and. Their stadiums,
- 19:05Speaker 4: in some cases, are subsidized by the taxpayers who then
- 19:08Speaker 4: have to go and buy tickets and buy their hot
- 19:10Speaker 4: dogs and their souvenirs and all of that stuff. And
- 19:13Speaker 4: they're paying for it. So it's a it'd be a
- 19:15Speaker 4: win win for the owner. And sure, it's an economic
- 19:18Speaker 4: boon in some cases, a boom in some cases. But
- 19:20Speaker 4: this whole idea of of Trump and building another room
- 19:25Speaker 4: so that they can have a fancy get togethers. I
- 19:28Speaker 4: don't have a problem with that. And I don't understand
- 19:30Speaker 4: why anybody does. So anyway, there's a also it was
- 19:35Speaker 4: a big brouhaha, if you will, with food stamps. Right.
- 19:38Speaker 4: So we were talking about food stamps and how much
- 19:40Speaker 4: that we have spent in food stamps. And I don't
- 19:41Speaker 4: have a lot of time to get into it, obviously,
- 19:43Speaker 4: now with the music playing. But after Biden became president, essentially.
- 19:50Speaker 4: the amount of money that went to food stamps per year,
- 19:54Speaker 4: it increased, it actually almost tripled. So right now you're
- 19:58Speaker 4: talking about over $ 8 billion a month in food stamps
- 20:01Speaker 4: or food assistant programs for folks in America. The big
- 20:05Speaker 4: problem here, ladies and gentlemen, aside from the, astronomical cost
- 20:10Speaker 4: of that is the fact that there are 42 million
- 20:12Speaker 4: people who need food assistance. That is a major issue
- 20:16Speaker 4: that has to be dealt with. All right, we're going
- 20:18Speaker 4: to completely switch gears. When we come back, a good
- 20:20Speaker 4: friend of mine is going to join the conversation. His
- 20:23Speaker 4: name is Greg Howard. He's a state representative and a
- 20:25Speaker 4: law enforcement officer. We'll talk to him about ICE and
- 20:28Speaker 4: other things.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Stick around.
- 20:30Speaker 4: You are listening and watching The War Zone.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Hi, this is Wayne Allyn Root from my great friends,
- 20:45Speaker 2: John and Chelsea Jubilee of Energized Health.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Energized Health changed my life, literally.
- 20:50Speaker 2: I lost 25 pounds of fat, including the dangerous inner
- 20:53Speaker 2: body vitriol fat, and gained 10 pounds.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Of muscle in only 88 days.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Now, I look the best in my life. I'll be
- 20:59Speaker 2: on this program for life because it's simple and easy.
- 21:02Speaker 2: John and Chelsea have the only patent pending in the
- 21:04Speaker 2: world for a method of achieving intracellular hydration.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Now that's credibility.
- 21:09Speaker 2: The patent application includes over 500 pages of science, sequencing,
- 21:13Speaker 2: and processes of how to transform your cells so they
- 21:16Speaker 2: can hydrate, allowing you to lose fat and upgrade your
- 21:18Speaker 2: health and immune system. No one else has this science
- 21:21Speaker 2: of inner body hydration. It's all set up in a
- 21:23Speaker 2: program that's simple and scientific. This is your time to
- 21:26Speaker 2: be healthy from the inside out and be the best
- 21:28Speaker 2: you can be. Energized Health is offering my fans the

- 22:04Speaker 4: All right, welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you, thank you,
- 22:06Speaker 4: thank you, thank you, thank you. 90 minutes in the books.
- 22:09Speaker 4: No way in Alan Root. Of course, Wayne will be
- 22:11Speaker 4: back right here in this chair, but not this chair,
- 22:14Speaker 4: because this is my chair. He'll be in his own

- 23:51Speaker 4: One of my good friends who joins me every week
- 23:54Speaker 4: right here in this very studio that I am broadcasting
- 23:56Speaker 4: from is a state representative and a rising star in
- 24:00Speaker 4: the Republican Party in the state of Connecticut, if there
- 24:02Speaker 4: is such a thing. He's also a law enforcement. He's
- 24:05Speaker 4: a police officer. He's a detective. And we've got him
- 24:08Speaker 4: on whenever we want to talk about some law enforcement
- 24:10Speaker 4: stuff and anything that's going on, not only in the state,
- 24:13Speaker 4: but across the country. We bring on the one and
- 24:15Speaker 4: only state representative, Greg Howard. Greg, thanks for coming out tonight.
- 24:18Speaker 4: I appreciate it. Thank you, brother.
- 24:20Speaker 8: Man, what an honor to be on the show. I
- 24:22Speaker 8: appreciate you with the invite. How's things?
- 24:24Speaker 4: Nah, we're doing good, man. We're doing good. Are you
- 24:26Speaker 4: getting ready to watch the game? Are you going to
- 24:28Speaker 4: watch football on Monday night? I'm assuming you do. You
- 24:30Speaker 4: got a house full of football guys, right?
- 24:32Speaker 8: That's right. Yeah, we watch it.
- 24:33Speaker 7: I don't generally catch the whole game because I get
- 24:35Speaker 7: up at 4.30 in the morning, as you know.
- 24:37Speaker 8: So, you know, it's late over here on the East Coast.
- 24:40Speaker 8: The game starts late.
- 24:41Speaker 7: So I don't generally catch the whole thing unless it
- 24:43Speaker 7: really encapsulates me. And then I'm going to sleep in
- 24:45Speaker 7: tomorrow and ruin my whole day.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Well, I figure if you're fantasy, are you still alive
- 24:49Speaker 4: in your fantasy game tonight? Do you have anybody playing tonight?
- 24:51Speaker 4: Because I have Lamb playing tonight.
- 24:53Speaker 7: I have Lamb and Gentee playing tonight, but the guy
- 24:55Speaker 7: I'm playing against has Dak Prescott, right? So Lamb's like
- 24:58Speaker 7: a wash. Everything Lamb does, Prescott gets credit for. So
- 25:01Speaker 7: I'm really hoping for Ashton to come through for me.
- 25:03Speaker 4: I'm playing against him.
- 25:04Speaker 8: He's all the Raiders have anyway.
- 25:06Speaker 4: That is true. I got a feeling the Raiders are
- 25:09Speaker 4: going to surprise Dallas tonight. And actually, Wayne Allen Root's
- 25:12Speaker 4: a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, so he's going to get
- 25:15Speaker 4: his night ruined, I think, by the Las Vegas Raiders.
- 25:17Speaker 1: All right.
- 25:18Speaker 4: Let me ask you a couple of things. You can
- 25:19Speaker 4: hang out with us until the top, I hope. So
- 25:22Speaker 4: I want to throw a couple of ice related questions
- 25:25Speaker 4: at you. And, you know, we talked about this a
- 25:27Speaker 4: little bit today and we can get into the nitty
- 25:29Speaker 4: gritty of what's going on in Connecticut. But let me
- 25:32Speaker 4: just ask you, you know, the Biden administration repeatedly imposed
- 25:37Speaker 4: sanctuary style policies and enforcement priorities today. that effectively handcuffed
- 25:43Speaker 4: ICE agents, you know, allowing millions of illegal aliens to
- 25:46Speaker 4: come in, including those with criminal records. And they remain
- 25:49Speaker 4: in this country to this very second. And Trump is
- 25:52Speaker 4: trying to negate a lot of that and, you know,
- 25:56Speaker 4: flip it around and send these people packing where they belong. So,
- 25:59Speaker 4: you know, from a law enforcement person, how demoralizing was
- 26:03Speaker 4: it during Biden? And then how, at least, uplifting from
- 26:06Speaker 4: the president's perspective is it now?
- 26:09Speaker 7: Well, that's a great way to frame it, Lee. You
- 26:12Speaker 7: really did it perfectly. If folks go back to 2020,
- 26:16Speaker 7: the summer of 2020, the so-called summer of love, law
- 26:20Speaker 7: enforcement around this country was demoralized incredibly. And if you
- 26:24Speaker 7: look around the country, you'll see recruitment and retention on
- 26:27Speaker 7: law enforcement is down considerably. What else is down is
- 26:30Speaker 7: the clearance rate of crimes. That's the, according to the
- 26:34Speaker 7: Uniform Crime Reports from NIBRS, from data that The amount
- 26:37Speaker 7: at which we solve crime is significantly lower. Fatal crashes
- 26:41Speaker 7: are up around the country because we have a decrease
- 26:44Speaker 7: in traffic enforcement.
- 26:45Speaker 8: These are having real effects on lives.
- 26:47Speaker 7: And what I'm watching now is, of course, as we know,
- 26:50Speaker 7: Donald Trump won the presidency in 2024. As it often happens,
- 26:54Speaker 7: the pendulum is starting to swing back because communities are realizing, hey,
- 26:58Speaker 7: We need law enforcement. We have criminals out here. We
- 27:00Speaker 7: have evildoers out here. We need our law enforcement for
- 27:03Speaker 7: the reasons that I just outlined. So now the Democratic
- 27:06Speaker 7: Party have set their sights on a different group to
- 27:08Speaker 7: paint law enforcement in a bad way because we have
- 27:10Speaker 7: to start with this. I've been a police officer for
- 27:13Speaker 7: 23 years. I've been a legislator for five and studying
- 27:15Speaker 7: these issues pretty closely in the legislature. Law enforcement at times,
- 27:19Speaker 7: especially to the average citizen, is just not pleasant. It's
- 27:23Speaker 7: not a pleasant thing to watch. It's not a pleasant
- 27:25Speaker 7: thing to be involved in. Just to put things in
- 27:28Speaker 7: a perspective for your listeners. Police officers in the United
- 27:32Speaker 7: States of America experience traumatic incidents 800 to 1 more
- 27:35Speaker 7: than the average person because police work is not pretty.
- 27:39Speaker 7: So what the Democrats have gotten really good at doing
- 27:41Speaker 7: when they need numbers is they will take a bunch
- 27:44Speaker 7: of little clips of videos of the not so pretty
- 27:46Speaker 7: part of law enforcement and they'll put it around to
- 27:49Speaker 7: disparage an entire group of people.
- 27:51Speaker 8: Now, right now, their sights are set at ice.
- 27:53Speaker 7: And what frustrates me the most about that is you
- 27:56Speaker 7: have legislators from around the country who have been in
- 27:58Speaker 7: Congress 12, 14, 18, 20 years disparaging ICE agents for
- 28:03Speaker 7: enforcing the very laws that they have not changed. That's
- 28:07Speaker 7: what frustrates me. They're running around, look at these bad
- 28:10Speaker 7: ICE agents enforcing these laws, enforcing these laws. I've done
- 28:12Speaker 7: nothing to change them. I'm going to go have a
- 28:14Speaker 7: margarita with a human trafficker. The ICE agents are the
- 28:19Speaker 7: bad guys and trying to flip the script. And, you know,
- 28:21Speaker 7: I really hope the people of the United States of
- 28:23Speaker 7: America are better to watch that to see what's going
- 28:27Speaker 7: on and will not get duped by that again like
- 28:29Speaker 7: they were in 2020.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Like so well said. It's got to be so frustrating.
- 28:34Speaker 4: You see in your Democrat colleagues in Connecticut, which is
- 28:38Speaker 4: one of the bluest states out there, have been guilty
- 28:41Speaker 4: of this. And, you know, other states around the country
- 28:43Speaker 4: have been guilty of it as well, where you are
- 28:45Speaker 4: exactly right. They are taking the side of drug dealers,
- 28:51Speaker 4: taking the sides of gangbangers. They're taking the sides of
- 28:54Speaker 4: people who have consistent, not people who just made a
- 28:57Speaker 4: mistake or did something wrong and they're sorry for it.
- 29:00Speaker 4: They're taking the side of hardcore stone cold killers.
- 29:05Speaker 7: Yeah, and people who want to fight law enforcement. Again,
- 29:09Speaker 7: you could take what I just said down to the
- 29:11Speaker 7: state level. It continues to shock my conscience that you
- 29:15Speaker 7: have legislators who write laws and don't want anybody enforcing
- 29:19Speaker 7: the laws that they write.
- 29:20Speaker 8: A law with no.
- 29:21Speaker 7: Enforcement behind it, Lee, is nothing more than a suggestion.
- 29:25Speaker 7: What's the point of having laws if we don't have
- 29:28Speaker 7: any enforcement around them? And then they take and they,
- 29:30Speaker 7: you know, they say, well, ICE agents, we don't want
- 29:32Speaker 7: them covering their faces. There's $ 50, 000.
- 29:35Speaker 8: Bounties on these guys, if not more. I mean, the
- 29:38Speaker 8: assaults on them.
- 29:40Speaker 7: Look, the Democrats dispute that the White House has claimed
- 29:43Speaker 7: that they're up a thousand percent. But they acknowledge that
- 29:45Speaker 7: the charges of violence against law enforcement is up 25 percent.
- 29:51Speaker 7: Even the naysayers acknowledge that.
- 29:53Speaker 8: So, and why?
- 29:54Speaker 7: Because people felt empowered that they're doing good by running
- 29:59Speaker 7: a police officer over with a car, resisting arrest, not
- 30:04Speaker 7: putting the window down. All the stuff pushed by the
- 30:06Speaker 7: progressive left that continues to get pushed on. And what
- 30:09Speaker 7: do we have? We have violent crime in our cities.
- 30:12Speaker 7: We have police officers who can't solve crimes. And let's
- 30:14Speaker 7: remind your listeners about this, Lee. When I started in
- 30:17Speaker 7: law enforcement 23 years ago, you had surveillance in your
- 30:20Speaker 7: major stores and your banks.
- 30:21Speaker 8: Today- Their surveillance, one out of two people has one
- 30:25Speaker 8: on their front door. They're on every corner.
- 30:27Speaker 7: Cities around the country have surveillance cameras around their cities
- 30:30Speaker 7: to see what's going on.
- 30:31Speaker 8: And we're solving 30 percent less crimes.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Right.
- 30:34Speaker 7: A 30 percent reduction down from the average of 24
- 30:37Speaker 7: down to 17 percent. And by the way, that has
- 30:41Speaker 7: nothing to do with with diversionary programs of prosecution. The
- 30:45Speaker 7: clearance rate just talks about arrests and not even an arrest.
- 30:48Speaker 7: If you have a murder suspect in Seattle who the
- 30:51Speaker 7: police established probable cause that they can arrest him and
- 30:54Speaker 7: he jumps off a bridge, say, that still counts as cleared,
- 30:57Speaker 7: even though he's never arrested. So these are literally the
- 30:59Speaker 7: amount of cases that we solve is significantly down. We
- 31:03Speaker 7: need justice for victims. And the left side continues to
- 31:06Speaker 7: ignore law abiding victims in this country. And, you know,
- 31:12Speaker 7: this whole issue of ICE frustrates me because. You know,
- 31:16Speaker 7: they act like, oh, this is a civil violation. Like,
- 31:19Speaker 7: you know, it's like an unpaid parking ticket or something.
- 31:21Speaker 7: Most of these crimes, if you went to this country illegally,
- 31:24Speaker 7: it's punishable by a jail sentence. I mean, there's certain
- 31:27Speaker 7: civil violations. You know, if you overstayed your visa, education visa,
- 31:31Speaker 7: you overstayed it. But if you went to the country illegally,
- 31:34Speaker 7: it's a crime. I don't know why we're downplaying this.
- 31:37Speaker 7: And you're absolutely right. Joe Biden encouraged sanctuary cities. And
- 31:45Speaker 7: can I just talk about that for a second?
- 31:46Speaker 4: Yeah, please do.
- 31:48Speaker 8: So what happens in.
- 31:49Speaker 7: These sanctuary cities is it forces ICE agents. This is
- 31:53Speaker 7: all a plan, by the way. It forces ICE agents
- 31:56Speaker 7: to take things to the street. So let me paint
- 31:58Speaker 7: you a picture. Tom Holman has said numerous times. Kristi
- 32:01Speaker 7: Noem has said numerous times. We're looking for the worst
- 32:05Speaker 7: of the worst.
- 32:05Speaker 5: Right.
- 32:06Speaker 7: We've all heard that. That's exactly what they're doing. But
- 32:09Speaker 7: when you have the worst of the worst locked up
- 32:11Speaker 7: in a jail cell in Chicago, Illinois, and and the
- 32:15Speaker 7: laws of that state or that city will not allow
- 32:17Speaker 7: ICE into that jail cell to take that person into custody,
- 32:20Speaker 7: they have to wait until they get out. And when
- 32:22Speaker 7: they do, they're chased somewhere down the street, in a
- 32:25Speaker 7: community where there's other people here illegally. And when the
- 32:29Speaker 7: ICE agents get to that community to arrest that worst
- 32:32Speaker 7: of the worst criminal, and they see seven or eight
- 32:35Speaker 7: other people they know are here in violation of federal law,
- 32:38Speaker 7: they're taking them into custody too.
- 32:40Speaker 8: And what happens? It gets pictures, videos, Right.
- 32:44Speaker 7: So instead of the controlled environment, safer for everybody, the
- 32:47Speaker 7: Democrats have taken it out of that with their policies,
- 32:51Speaker 7: put it to the streets so they can get their
- 32:52Speaker 7: video clips to disparage law enforcement and then pick one
- 32:55Speaker 7: of those seven or eight.
- 32:56Speaker 8: Not the worst, the worst.
- 32:57Speaker 7: I got caught up because the worst of the worst
- 32:59Speaker 7: was allowed by their policy back in the community. And
- 33:02Speaker 7: they can hold that person up. Oh, he's been here
- 33:03Speaker 7: for 19 years working here, working at this university, doing this,
- 33:07Speaker 7: raising his family.
- 33:08Speaker 8: That's what they did.
- 33:09Speaker 4: Greg, let me jump in because music's playing. We'll come
- 33:11Speaker 4: right back. We'll continue this conversation. State Representative Greg Howard
- 33:15Speaker 4: is with us right here on The War Zone. Hang on, everybody.

- 37:04Speaker 4: performing recommendations have beaten the market 86 percent of the time.
- 37:08Speaker 4: 18 out of 21 years. That is not just beating
- 37:10Speaker 4: the market. That is obliterating it. The average Wall Street
- 37:14Speaker 4: money manager loses to the market 90% of the time.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Facts matter. That fact that VRA portfolio beats the market
- 37:21Speaker 4: in good years and bad years from growth stocks to
- 37:24Speaker 4: ETFs to precious metals to Bitcoin. The VRA goes wherever
- 37:28Speaker 4: the highest profits reside. Let Kip prove it to you

- 37:46Speaker 4: free as well. One more time, VRAinsider.com, VRAinsider.com. My good friend,
- 37:53Speaker 4: State Representative Greg Howard is with us. And, Greg, we
- 37:56Speaker 4: kind of got cut off, but I wanted you or
- 37:58Speaker 4: give you the opportunity before I asked one more question
- 38:01Speaker 4: before we do run out of time. You were talking
- 38:04Speaker 4: about just the frustration that surrounds ICE and everybody in
- 38:09Speaker 4: the law enforcement community. Did you just want to finish
- 38:12Speaker 4: that thought?
- 38:13Speaker 7: Yeah, no, I mean, that was just the bottom line. Look,
- 38:15Speaker 7: I hope Americans are paying attention. You know, the Democrats
- 38:18Speaker 7: seem to think that law enforcement are their pawns, that
- 38:21Speaker 7: they can.
- 38:21Speaker 8: You know, use them as they see fit.
- 38:24Speaker 7: They disparaged an entire profession in 2020 for their own
- 38:26Speaker 7: political gain when they lost the presidency in 2024 because
- 38:30Speaker 7: of the rebound effect of that, which is always going
- 38:32Speaker 7: to happen. They've set their targets on ice now. to
- 38:36Speaker 7: do the exact same thing. These big, bad law enforcement
- 38:39Speaker 7: officers were enforcing the very laws that these morons create
- 38:42Speaker 7: themselves and then turn around and blame the people who
- 38:46Speaker 7: are enforcing their laws and do nothing to change it.
- 38:48Speaker 8: It's just frustrating, for sure.
- 38:49Speaker 4: So how can ICE effectively protect American communities in a
- 38:54Speaker 4: state like Connecticut, where they are under the microscope or
- 38:58Speaker 4: there is an opposition to them every time they turn around?
- 39:01Speaker 4: What would your general advice be to them?
- 39:04Speaker 8: Well, exactly what they're doing. They're just coming in and
- 39:06Speaker 8: doing their job without the support for local law enforcement
- 39:10Speaker 8: and around. Look, I'm not going to call it necessary obstruction,
- 39:13Speaker 8: but there's certainly a lack of cooperation. And as I
- 39:16Speaker 8: said earlier, when that happens, so if.
- 39:19Speaker 7: You play two scenarios out, you have a guy that's
- 39:21Speaker 7: been arrested in Connecticut or Chicago, Illinois, or any of
- 39:24Speaker 7: these sanctuary states or cities, which pretty much most of
- 39:27Speaker 7: them in the Northeast, you know, when you... you have
- 39:30Speaker 7: a guy who's sitting and again, been arrested for felony assault,
- 39:34Speaker 7: and he's here illegally, right? He came across the country
- 39:37Speaker 7: illegally or overstayed his visa, whatever.
- 39:40Speaker 8: The case may be.
- 39:40Speaker 7: And he's been arrested for second degree assault in years
- 39:44Speaker 7: past before this sanctuary city stuff ICE would send law
- 39:47Speaker 7: enforcement a detainer, say, hang on to this guy. We're
- 39:49Speaker 7: going to come get him, which any police law enforcement
- 39:52Speaker 7: agency does for each other all the time, every single
- 39:54Speaker 7: day in this country, every day.
- 39:56Speaker 8: But now they can't do that. So what does ICE
- 39:58Speaker 8: have to do?
- 39:59Speaker 7: OK, well, if I call, you know, the Chicago PD
- 40:02Speaker 7: and they can't they're not going to hang on to
- 40:04Speaker 7: him for me so I can come there or Hartford
- 40:05Speaker 7: PD here in Connecticut and they're not going to hang
- 40:08Speaker 7: on to me. Well, I got to wait, hang on
- 40:10Speaker 7: to him for me. I have to wait until they
- 40:11Speaker 7: release the guy and then they release him. Then they
- 40:13Speaker 7: go find where he was.
- 40:14Speaker 8: Where is he living? Who is he living with?
- 40:17Speaker 7: And he ends up and they end up taking all
- 40:18Speaker 7: these other people or they end up taking the guy
- 40:20Speaker 7: into custody in the streets or whatever, which is not
- 40:23Speaker 7: a controlled environment. So one of the big pushes in
- 40:26Speaker 7: Connecticut right now is, well, we don't want ICE agents
- 40:28Speaker 7: taking people into custody in courthouses, you know, in the
- 40:31Speaker 7: public areas, which is what they've been doing.
- 40:32Speaker 8: And do you want to know why they don't want
- 40:34Speaker 8: to do it in that way?
- 40:35Speaker 7: Because when somebody goes into a courthouse.
- 40:38Speaker 8: What do they have to walk through?
- 40:39Speaker 5: A metal detector.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Yep.
- 40:42Speaker 5: Right.
- 40:42Speaker 7: So when these ICE agents go in there, they know
- 40:44Speaker 7: that this guy is not armed. So they're trying to
- 40:47Speaker 7: do it as safely as possible. But in Connecticut, the
- 40:49Speaker 7: Supreme Court justice, the chief justice of the Supreme Court,
- 40:53Speaker 7: the And now the legislature have put our policies.
- 40:55Speaker 8: There's no more.
- 40:56Speaker 7: We don't want you doing it in safe environments. We
- 40:59Speaker 7: want you doing it out in the street where you
- 41:00Speaker 7: don't know what you're getting into. And by the way,
- 41:03Speaker 7: you've been covering your face so that people don't know
- 41:05Speaker 7: who you are. So your family doesn't get targeted.
- 41:07Speaker 4: Nope.
- 41:07Speaker 7: We're going to make that illegal, too, because they're doing
- 41:10Speaker 7: everything they can to try to get these guys hurt.
- 41:12Speaker 3: That's it.
- 41:13Speaker 7: And they make all these other claims. Well, it's about
- 41:16Speaker 7: safety and security in the courthouse. You know, it's about,
- 41:19Speaker 7: you know, stoking down the fear in communities. It's nonsense
- 41:22Speaker 7: because they only target law enforcement. We talked on your
- 41:26Speaker 7: show and you heard me do quite a speech about
- 41:28Speaker 7: this in Hartford. I was curious about it. Bail enforcement agents,
- 41:32Speaker 7: they run around, take people into custody every single day
- 41:34Speaker 7: in this country. Maybe some of the listeners have heard
- 41:37Speaker 7: of Dog the Body Hunter. Watch what he done. He's
- 41:39Speaker 7: not a law enforcement officer. They're taking people in on
- 41:41Speaker 7: civil bonds. And they can still do it in Connecticut
- 41:44Speaker 7: in courthouses, masked up, whatever they want, because for some
- 41:48Speaker 7: reason that's safer. You know that that doesn't create any
- 41:51Speaker 7: sort of problems. It doesn't even make any sense. They're
- 41:54Speaker 7: targeting ICE agents to get these guys hurt.
- 41:56Speaker 8: And they have been hurt.
- 41:58Speaker 7: We've had shootings at ICE facilities. We've had them ran
- 42:00Speaker 7: with cars. And where's the left? Where's the left condemning
- 42:03Speaker 7: this violence?
- 42:05Speaker 4: Nowhere to be found. What a great point, by the way.
- 42:07Speaker 4: It's a great point about. you know, the ice agents
- 42:10Speaker 4: going to courts because they know these guys aren't going
- 42:13Speaker 4: to be armed. It's the perfect spot to get them. Greg,
- 42:17Speaker 4: I wish we had more time. Listen, I appreciate you.
- 42:19Speaker 4: I know you gave up tonight to come out with us.
- 42:21Speaker 4: So we'll, we'll again, we're in total gratitude towards you.
