- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Six o'clock here on this Friday morning in Nashville. Good morning, friends,
- 0:06Speaker 2: Thank you so much for starting your day with us.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez, to my right over here has those three things.
- 0:11Speaker 3: A fund has been created to help those impacted by
- 0:14Speaker 3: the Antioch High School shooting. The Community Foundation of Middle
- 0:17Speaker 3: Tennessee has established a fund that aims to assist students,
- 0:20Speaker 3: staff and families that have been impacted by the shooting
- 0:24Speaker 3: that happened Wednesday morning. A teen student, Joslyn Corea Escalante,
- 0:29Speaker 3: lost her life in the shooting before the shooter took
- 0:31Speaker 3: his own and two others were injured in the cafeteria
- 0:34Speaker 3: of Antioch High School. The National School Violence Support and
- 0:38Speaker 3: Healing Fund will go directly to the victims' families, those injured,
- 0:41Speaker 3: and individuals experiencing emotional trauma. Mayor O'Connell said, it's a
- 0:46Speaker 3: new charitable fund and it's going to help address mass
- 0:50Speaker 3: violence incidents on school grounds or during school events in
- 0:54Speaker 3: Davidson County.
- 0:55Speaker 4: If you want to donate, you can go online.
- 0:58Speaker 3: CFF dot org. They accept checks, mail to them and
- 1:03Speaker 3: online donations. I'm also going to post the link at
- 1:06Speaker 3: one O seven five of the River's Instagram account stories
- 1:08Speaker 3: so that you can go right to it very easily.
- 1:11Speaker 3: It's c FMT dot org. That's the Community Foundation of
- 1:16Speaker 3: Middle Tennessee. Lyn Manuel Miranda wanted a part in Wicked
- 1:21Speaker 3: but was turned down, so he's been tweeting.
- 1:24Speaker 4: About his desire for this specific.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Role in this movie since twenty sixteen. He said that
- 1:31Speaker 3: in a Digital edition.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Commentary, the director had mentioned that.
- 1:35Speaker 3: He called him many times looking for a very specific part.
- 1:38Speaker 3: He wanted to play the munchkin Land citizen who at
- 1:41Speaker 3: the beginning of the movie asked Linda, is it true
- 1:44Speaker 3: you were her friend? When referring to Alphaba and John
- 1:48Speaker 3: mchu said that he thought that having Lynn Manuel Miranda
- 1:51Speaker 3: as a cameo would be too distracting, which probably shocked
- 1:55Speaker 3: Lynn Manuel Miranda considering that he has been so well
- 1:59Speaker 3: known in Broadway and also he worked with John m.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Chew on The Heights, so they're friends. Yeah, but I
- 2:06Speaker 3: get it, you know, it might be too distracting, especially
- 2:08Speaker 3: the very beginning of a movie, to have like, oh
- 2:11Speaker 3: my god, was that.
- 2:15Speaker 5: Later in that movie?
- 2:16Speaker 4: But are they Lin Manuel Miranda? What do you mean, Like,
- 2:20Speaker 4: are they of the same?
- 2:21Speaker 2: Yeah, people, that's what it takes a Broadway, Yes, because
- 2:24Speaker 2: it was have you seen That's why?
- 2:27Speaker 5: And Chris and Cheno with.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Original you know, oh that I don't understand. That's what
- 2:32Speaker 3: I'm saying, sketchy saying though. Spoiler alert, it's been out
- 2:37Speaker 3: for months if you haven't seen it by now, and
- 2:39Speaker 3: this is what happens. Velveta is making sure that you
- 2:42Speaker 3: can easily travel with their cheese.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Now they're launching vell to Go.
- 2:47Speaker 3: It's a single serve packet of Velveta cheese sauce. It's
- 2:50Speaker 3: designed specifically with millennials and gen zers in mind, because
- 2:53Speaker 3: apparently data shows that we like to carry along our
- 2:56Speaker 3: favorite condiments.
- 2:58Speaker 4: I don't know if that's true for everyone.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I know I always have hot sauce in my purse, though,
- 3:03Speaker 3: so I am one.
- 3:04Speaker 6: Of these people.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Veltigo is limited edition for right now. You can buy
- 3:08Speaker 4: it at Walmart. I'm Rigsanchez and those are the three
- 3:10Speaker 4: things you need to know.
- 3:11Speaker 7: Ricky zachon Mano in the morning on one River, I think.
- 3:15Speaker 3: This might be Kevin's favorite giveaway because he keeps calling
- 3:19Speaker 3: it specifically stickers in small talk for the first caller
- 3:22Speaker 3: of the day on one O seven five.
- 3:23Speaker 2: The River I think I'm not alone. I think people
- 3:25Speaker 2: love the stickers. In small talk, I mean the stickers.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Are pretty sick.
- 3:28Speaker 3: They're limited edition, holographic Ricky Zachamano in the Morning stickers
- 3:32Speaker 3: that only a few people have because we only made
- 3:35Speaker 3: a hundred because we were paying for the stickers. Ye
- 3:40Speaker 3: make one hundred, and they're very cool.
- 3:42Speaker 4: I promise you.
- 3:43Speaker 3: They are legit as they could possibly be. They will
- 3:45Speaker 3: stick on something and never come off.
- 3:47Speaker 2: My daughter desperately wants to get hers off of her Stanley,
- 3:50Speaker 2: but it won't.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Come up about it.
- 3:52Speaker 2: So if you all want six, one five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 3:55Speaker 2: one oh seven, the last first caller of the day
- 3:58Speaker 2: of the week talking to you next.
- 4:01Speaker 3: We only got a few stickers left too, maybe the
- 4:03Speaker 3: last one to ever get a sticky.
- 4:05Speaker 7: One O seven five of the River Ricky Zach and
- 4:08Speaker 7: Mano in the.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Morning sit in Murphy's Boro.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Good morning, Welcome to one O seven five the River.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Are you on your way to work right now? It
- 4:14Speaker 3: sounds like you're in the car.
- 4:15Speaker 4: I am in the car boy.
- 4:20Speaker 1: My sister's house.
- 4:21Speaker 6: You take them to school.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Okay, that's cool that you have a system like that
- 4:24Speaker 2: going on. It takes a village. Absolutely.
- 4:27Speaker 4: What are your boys names?
- 4:29Speaker 5: Henry and say hi guys.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I don't know if they can hear us, but hi,
- 4:36Speaker 2: you guys got anything fun plan this weekend?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:39Speaker 5: What are you doing?
- 4:42Speaker 3: Oh?
- 4:43Speaker 4: Thank you again?
- 4:44Speaker 3: There?
- 4:44Speaker 2: Okay, short attention, spans, I did that.
- 4:48Speaker 4: All kids are like that. That's totally okay. Kristin, you
- 4:52Speaker 4: are the first color of the day.
- 4:53Speaker 3: You are getting yourself a limited edition holographic Ricky, Zach
- 4:57Speaker 3: and Mano in the morning sticker that only a very
- 5:00Speaker 3: few amount of people actually have.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Wonderful I got.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Okay, perfect? Or I mean yes, I recommend putting it
- 5:08Speaker 2: on that water bottle or if you want to, like,
- 5:10Speaker 2: tuck it away somewhere like beanie babies. You know how
- 5:12Speaker 2: people used to collect them, because one day they're gonna
- 5:14Speaker 2: be worth millions. This sticker might be valuable one day.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Just Christin, that was great. Stick out your water bottle?
- 5:24Speaker 6: Were it?
- 5:24Speaker 4: Proudly show it off to everybody.
- 5:26Speaker 3: We appreciate you so much for hanging out with us
- 5:28Speaker 3: and for calling in this morning.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 5:31Speaker 2: All right, you guys, have a great morning. Bye, boys,
- 5:33Speaker 2: hang on the line so you can get your information.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Have a great weekend.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Okay, Thank you all right.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I'd love to say win another sticker in the future,
- 5:41Speaker 2: but that might be it.
- 5:42Speaker 4: I really don't. We don't have many less.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Oh, I don't know how much longer we're gonna have
- 5:46Speaker 3: these stickers hanging around. So congrats to Christen on possibly
- 5:49Speaker 3: the last one we ever give out.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Raife, Zach and Menno in the Mornings or he'.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Zach and Mano in the Morning on one O seven
- 5:57Speaker 3: five the River. This weekend, just like a weekend in Nashville,
- 6:01Speaker 3: has plenty happening, so much for you to do in
- 6:04Speaker 3: case you don't have a busy weekend, and Zach's got
- 6:06Speaker 3: the list for you.
- 6:07Speaker 6: Yeah. So one of our favorite events, it's actually a
- 6:09Speaker 6: bi annual event from our friends at the Nashville scene.
- 6:12Speaker 6: It's called Fashion for a Fraction.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Oh my, got my favorite.
- 6:15Speaker 6: You can literally get some of the best deals, like
- 6:18Speaker 6: up to seventy five percent off on clothes, handbags, jewelry,
- 6:21Speaker 6: accessories like all of that. That's happening on Sunday at
- 6:24Speaker 6: the Factory in Franklin from one to four. It's called
- 6:27Speaker 6: Fashion for a Fraction. Tickets are only ten bucks.
- 6:29Speaker 3: If you love shopping, I highly suggest going. I remember
- 6:33Speaker 3: I got an any old Iron dress for twenty five dollars,
- 6:37Speaker 3: which is typically so expensive for any old iron it
- 6:40Speaker 3: was originally one hundred and thirty dollars.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Well, yeah, you get great deal.
- 6:44Speaker 2: So worth the price of admission for sure.
- 6:45Speaker 6: Absolutely. Also, if you are single and ready to mingle,
- 6:49Speaker 6: they are doing Paws and Pairs, a dog Lover's singles
- 6:52Speaker 6: mixer at Urban Dog Bar. So it's gonna be tomorrow
- 6:55Speaker 6: Saturday from five thirty to eight pm. They're gonna have
- 6:59Speaker 6: different games, specials, all of these things, so you can
- 7:01Speaker 6: bring your dogs.
- 7:02Speaker 2: That's really such a brilliant idea because even at these
- 7:05Speaker 2: like singles events, like it could be hard to go
- 7:07Speaker 2: off to somebody, but you're letting the dogs make the
- 7:09Speaker 2: introductions for you.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Oh if your dogs like each other, yeah, it's a
- 7:12Speaker 3: good sign.
- 7:13Speaker 6: Well that was I thought about this, Like, if I
- 7:15Speaker 6: was singling and I didn't have a dog, I would
- 7:16Speaker 6: definitely want to date someone with a dog.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Oh, I wonder if you can go dog humans are free.
- 7:22Speaker 6: You can go for free and your dogs are twelve dollars.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Humans are free.
- 7:28Speaker 6: Also, Daisy Days is happening this weekend at Fat Bottom Brewing,
- 7:32Speaker 6: so it is to celebrate National Daisy Day and the
- 7:36Speaker 6: release of Fat Bottom seasonal beer. It's the Daisy Tangerine
- 7:39Speaker 6: Wheat Beer. So that it's happening all week and long
- 7:42Speaker 6: at Fat Bottom Brewing. And lastly, Kevin is actually going
- 7:46Speaker 6: to this this weekend, so we're gonna need a recap.
- 7:48Speaker 6: But the circus is in town. Ringling Brothers and Barnum
- 7:52Speaker 6: and Bailey are coming back with like the reimagined edition
- 7:54Speaker 6: of the Greatest Show on Earth. Apparently there's like seventy
- 7:57Speaker 6: five performers, eighteen different nationality, fifty circus acts like it
- 8:02Speaker 6: looks really really cool and it's happening all week and
- 8:04Speaker 6: long at Britstone Arena.
- 8:05Speaker 2: I'm very excited. I mean my kids are excited, yes,
- 8:07Speaker 2: but I'm very excited. I haven't been in the curcas
- 8:09Speaker 2: in so long and the Wrinkling Brothers and Barnman Bailey
- 8:12Speaker 2: are the ones.
- 8:12Speaker 5: That do it right.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Yeah, So, like a twelve year old boy, make sure
- 8:16Speaker 3: that's why you're so excited.
- 8:17Speaker 6: Say, yeah, there's a lot to do this weekend. If
- 8:19Speaker 6: you're single, ready to mingle, if you want to take
- 8:20Speaker 6: the kiddos out, there's a lot going on around in Nashville.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Thank you so much that comprehensive rundown. Appreciate that, buddy,
- 8:26Speaker 2: And like we said, hopefully the weather a little bit
- 8:28Speaker 2: warmer this hope. So three things you need to know
- 8:31Speaker 2: a bit past seven o'clock on this Friday morning, Happy Friday.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Feels good to say that Ricky's got those three things.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Apple Music has announced that Kendrick Lamar is going to
- 8:39Speaker 3: have a guest performer during his Super Bowl halftime show.
- 8:43Speaker 3: It's going to be none other than sizz Cool. The
- 8:46Speaker 3: duo have a few songs together. They have recently announced
- 8:48Speaker 3: that they're going to be touring together, so this just
- 8:51Speaker 3: totally makes sense. It's a great fit. Super Bowl is
- 8:53Speaker 3: happening February ninth, so make sure you're ready to tune in.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I personally don't have any skin and game more and
- 9:00Speaker 3: I never did because I'm a Jets fan and they
- 9:02Speaker 3: were terrible this.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Season per usual.
- 9:05Speaker 3: So I will be watching specifically for the halftime show.
- 9:08Speaker 6: And who would you say is headlining the halftime show?
- 9:10Speaker 4: Kendrick Lamar.
- 9:16Speaker 5: Got it.
- 9:16Speaker 4: Great song.
- 9:18Speaker 3: We've still got a few games to go till we
- 9:19Speaker 3: know exactly who's going to be playing in the football
- 9:22Speaker 3: game itself. But now we know this, and like I said,
- 9:25Speaker 3: it's really all that I care about. This year Oscar
- 9:28Speaker 3: nominations are out, and here's what you need to know.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Amelia Perez topped the twenty twenty five OSCAR nominations.
- 9:34Speaker 4: With thirteen nods.
- 9:35Speaker 3: It was followed closely behind by The Brutalist and Wicked,
- 9:38Speaker 3: which both got ten nominations. Best Picture nominees are A Noora,
- 9:43Speaker 3: The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune Part Two, Amelia Perez,
- 9:48Speaker 3: I'm Still here, Nickel Boys, The Substance.
- 9:51Speaker 4: And Wicked. That's a lot of movies, a lot of movies.
- 9:55Speaker 3: As with every award season, there were notable snubs like
- 9:57Speaker 3: Denzel Washington didn't get anything for his performance It's in
- 10:00Speaker 3: Gladiator two. Margaret Quayley got nothing for her role in
- 10:03Speaker 3: The Substance. John m chu was shut out for Best
- 10:06Speaker 3: Director as well as the director of Conclave Edward Berger,
- 10:10Speaker 3: which both of those movies are nominated for Best Pictures,
- 10:13Speaker 3: So that's why everybody's shocked by those. Nashville got five
- 10:17Speaker 3: nominations for this year's James Beard Awards. This is really great.
- 10:22Speaker 3: They got nominations across three categories. Strategic Hospitality, who are
- 10:27Speaker 3: the people behind restaurants like Locus and Kisser were nominated
- 10:30Speaker 3: for Outstanding Restaurant Tour. Bad Idea in East Nashville was
- 10:33Speaker 3: nominated for the Best Restaurant category. Julier Hernandez at Mas
- 10:38Speaker 3: de la Vida, j Kewl.
- 10:40Speaker 4: At Peninsula, Doung Junior Voue at Noco.
- 10:43Speaker 3: We're all nominated for Best Chef in the Southeast. The
- 10:47Speaker 3: nominations will be narrowed down on April second, but we
- 10:49Speaker 3: are also very proud of everybody that has been nominated.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Nashville has really just got so many amazing places to go.
- 10:56Speaker 3: We say this all the time and we will continue
- 10:58Speaker 3: to say it on Ricky Zacamano in the morning. Go
- 11:00Speaker 3: support your local restaurants, shops, all the places that you love.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Make sure that you're checking them out. It's always fun
- 11:07Speaker 3: to go to the new places. We always want to
- 11:08Speaker 3: support them too, but make sure that you go to
- 11:10Speaker 3: your favorites and that you're checking out things that are
- 11:12Speaker 3: local to Nashville.
- 11:14Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 11:16Speaker 4: need to know.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Think about those fancy restaurants, though, Ricky, they never have
- 11:19Speaker 2: any condiments on the table. There's never any ketchup or.
- 11:23Speaker 4: I know where this is going.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Yeah, r Zach and the Lord to teach us something new.
- 11:35Speaker 3: It's zachs Fax on one oh seven five of the river.
- 11:37Speaker 6: So whenever you think about what Tennessee is famous for,
- 11:39Speaker 6: you think like Tennessee whiskey, or Dolly Parton or moon pies.
- 11:43Speaker 6: Did you guys know that Tennessee's also the birthplace of
- 11:46Speaker 6: mountain dew?
- 11:47Speaker 1: No?
- 11:48Speaker 6: Yeah, so apparently it was like made in Knoxville, which
- 11:52Speaker 6: kind of makes sense, the appalation mountains mountain dew. Yeah,
- 11:56Speaker 6: and then it was bought up by Pepsi Cola, and
- 11:58Speaker 6: then they gave it to the rest of the world. World,
- 12:00Speaker 6: so you're welcome world.
- 12:01Speaker 5: Do you guys ever have any like.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Old sayings when you see like a fog in the mountains,
- 12:06Speaker 2: like the Smoky's or something like, oh it gets all smokey.
- 12:09Speaker 4: I don't know where this is going, Kevin.
- 12:10Speaker 2: My wife always says, oh, the rabbits are cooking, because
- 12:13Speaker 2: that's what her dad used to say.
- 12:14Speaker 5: Okay, I didn't know.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I think if anybody else has one of those, please
- 12:20Speaker 2: call not alone here.
- 12:21Speaker 5: But yeah, that's what you says.
- 12:23Speaker 6: Okay, Well that's your fact of the day.
- 12:25Speaker 5: A couple of facts in there.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Yeah, ware you too many if you ask you.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 12:32Speaker 5: Hey, what's up, buddy?
- 12:33Speaker 1: Hey, so Mount New of course Knoxville.
- 12:35Speaker 6: But drop is in Plasky. Oh, I didn't know that.
- 12:39Speaker 6: And I love me some sun Drop. And every year
- 12:41Speaker 6: they do have sun Drop Fest down there in Plasky.
- 12:44Speaker 4: What festival?
- 12:45Speaker 6: Yeah, I want to do like a dunk tank into sundrop,
- 12:49Speaker 6: like where you have to throw the ball and it
- 12:51Speaker 6: dunks you into sun Drop. I don't know why.
- 12:53Speaker 2: How did Zach die? Guys?
- 12:57Speaker 3: Oh, man Jay, thank you so much for calling him?
- 13:00Speaker 2: How a good one?
- 13:01Speaker 7: Ricky, Zach, and manow in the morning on one seven.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Five Sabrina Carpenter on one of seven five the River.
- 13:08Speaker 4: I want to know your go to pizza order.
- 13:10Speaker 3: It's apparently a stat that people do not change their
- 13:13Speaker 3: pizza order for two to five years.
- 13:16Speaker 4: They get the same thing for that long experience.
- 13:19Speaker 5: To mine my same Ricky and Zach.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Just I told them my pizza order a moment ago,
- 13:23Speaker 2: and their jaws were on the floor.
- 13:24Speaker 3: You're a monster, and I don't know why we allow
- 13:27Speaker 3: you in the studio, but.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Don't approve of mine. But what is your go to
- 13:30Speaker 2: pizza order? Maybe it's worse than mine.
- 13:34Speaker 4: It could be worse than yours.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I'll tell you what mine is, and we want to
- 13:36Speaker 2: hear yours. Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one
- 13:39Speaker 2: oh seven. Here's the weekend. Your go to pizza.
- 13:42Speaker 7: Order, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on one.
- 13:46Speaker 3: People order the same pizza order for two to five years.
- 13:50Speaker 3: They never switch it up. It's one of seven five
- 13:53Speaker 3: the river. Kevin's got a very specific one, and I
- 13:55Speaker 3: believe it's the worst pizza order on Earth.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I do. I'll tell you mine in a second, but
- 13:59Speaker 2: we I have a bunch of people calling right now
- 14:01Speaker 2: about their pizza orders.
- 14:02Speaker 3: A Loo Hellower Antioch, tell us your go to pizza order.
- 14:07Speaker 2: I go to pizza order is always pineapple on pizza.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Do him and pineapple from Jeff's Pizza Yo Hawaiian Pizza.
- 14:17Speaker 2: We all in this room back you up on that.
- 14:19Speaker 2: We like pineapple on pizza.
- 14:20Speaker 3: I don't love it, but I won't shove it away
- 14:22Speaker 3: if someone gives it to I'm not mad about it.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I got a fact check, Zach.
- 14:27Speaker 5: He said he said Mountain dew came from Knoxville.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I think correct, it comes from Johnson City, Tennessee.
- 14:33Speaker 6: Actually, if you do the research, a lo it was
- 14:35Speaker 6: distributed from Knoxville to Johnson City.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Oh ah, and did you.
- 14:41Speaker 6: Know it was originally a mixer for moonshine. I did
- 14:44Speaker 6: not know that part, which makes sense because it's got
- 14:46Speaker 6: so much sugar in it.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Now we're all learning something new.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Thanks Alo, thanks for calling Buddy, Jackie and Nashville. Good morning,
- 14:53Speaker 2: Welcome to the river. What is your go to pizza order?
- 14:56Speaker 1: Well, typically order it's a frame.
- 14:58Speaker 4: But every time I ordered us.
- 15:00Speaker 6: Some mushroom pizza, like on Fridays when you donate met there,
- 15:04Speaker 6: they're like, what.
- 15:05Speaker 5: Else you want?
- 15:05Speaker 2: I'm like, just mushrooms.
- 15:07Speaker 4: I love a mushroom pizza.
- 15:10Speaker 7: I know.
- 15:10Speaker 3: But if you order it like like you're crazy you
- 15:14Speaker 3: don't want anything else just mushrooms, but like just mushroom. Yeah, Jackie,
- 15:19Speaker 3: I don't think you're crazy at all.
- 15:20Speaker 4: I love that order mushroom m pizza.
- 15:22Speaker 6: It belongs.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yes, Yes, thanks for calling Jackie. Happy Friday. It's Friday,
- 15:27Speaker 2: so you're gonn get your mushroomizza?
- 15:28Speaker 5: Ip.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Yeah, my love Eppie mushroom pizza day. Oh, here's my order.
- 15:34Speaker 3: First off, I just want to say those are not
- 15:37Speaker 3: normal orders.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Like Jackie said, Typically they ask like.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Oh, what else do you want?
- 15:41Speaker 4: Lots of people have issues with pineapple and pizza.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Right now, what you hear Kevin is about to say
- 15:46Speaker 3: is his go to order is going to shock and appall.
- 15:49Speaker 4: You go ahead.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Our family gets pizza most of the time. We're disordering Dominoes.
- 15:53Speaker 2: There's one by our house. Both kids will eat Dominoes,
- 15:56Speaker 2: it's easy, uh, and I will get my own thin
- 15:59Speaker 2: crust pizza, which is very thin at Dominoes. No cheese,
- 16:03Speaker 2: extra sauce, red peppers, and onions.
- 16:06Speaker 3: He gets a soggy cracker with red pepper and onion.
- 16:10Speaker 5: I'm not denying that that's what it is. It is
- 16:12Speaker 5: a soggy cracker and it's delicious.
- 16:14Speaker 6: I don't think it sounds that bad, but it's not
- 16:16Speaker 6: a pizza at that point, like, you can't say you
- 16:18Speaker 6: order pizza if it doesn't have cheese.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Well, it comes to a box from Dominoes.
- 16:21Speaker 6: It's still not a pizza.
- 16:22Speaker 4: It's basically Dominoes isn't even real pizza.
- 16:25Speaker 5: Oh Dominoes is good.
- 16:26Speaker 6: I love Dominoes.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Oh my god, I know I can't speak to either
- 16:29Speaker 4: of you.
- 16:30Speaker 6: I love Dominoes, but it's like ordering basically breadsticks dipped
- 16:33Speaker 6: in marin aara sauce.
- 16:34Speaker 4: That's what you're eating, Not even breadsticks. It's so thin. Yeah,
- 16:39Speaker 4: it's crackers and ketchup.
- 16:41Speaker 2: It's like it's it's like a communion wafer.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Juliet.
- 16:49Speaker 4: What do you think of Kevin's go to pizza order?
- 16:52Speaker 5: It's not it's not crazy. It's from Dominoes.
- 16:54Speaker 2: It's thin crust, no cheese, extra sauce, red peppers and onions.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Good, well, more for me than Don.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess you have to try it before you
- 17:05Speaker 1: can knock it out.
- 17:06Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 17:07Speaker 4: Exactly what do you typically order?
- 17:09Speaker 1: Don?
- 17:09Speaker 5: We ordered a lot from Ziggy's. I don't know if
- 17:11Speaker 5: you heard of it.
- 17:12Speaker 6: Ziggy's. Ziggy's, it's the best pizza.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Is one outside of Mount Juliet.
- 17:17Speaker 1: You're going out towards the Levern.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Okay, what do you order from Ziggy's specifically that you love? Pineapple,
- 17:23Speaker 3: barbecue and chicken.
- 17:25Speaker 6: Oh, that sounds good. It's almost like a meat zilla.
- 17:28Speaker 6: Give me all the meats. Yes, it's really good. All right.
- 17:32Speaker 4: That sounds way better than what Kevin freaking order.
- 17:34Speaker 5: We know that you don't like my pizza, Ricky.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Such a scary order.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Thanks for calling. Don have a great day.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Thanks, have a great day.
- 17:43Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 17:44Speaker 2: But I am glad that we were able to plug
- 17:46Speaker 2: a local place, Ziggy's, after I plugged Dominoes.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Yeah, because Dominoes is a real pizza.
- 17:51Speaker 4: But it's fine, still pizza.
- 17:52Speaker 1: It is good. Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Just say that these questions are very easy for topical
- 18:03Speaker 3: trivia on one oh seven five of the River.

- 18:23Speaker 4: Okay, that's okay. It'll help you get the questions right.
- 18:26Speaker 4: You gotta be a little bit nervous.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yeah, you get two out of three of them. You
- 18:29Speaker 2: were going to see Shine Down when they were here

- 18:34Speaker 2: you get two out of three Okay, okay, Robbie and

- 20:28Speaker 2: will be there. We are so happy for you.

- 20:31Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Okay, I've been past eight o'clock here on this Friday morning,
- 20:36Speaker 2: the happiest of Fridays to you.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Thank you for starting yours with us. Ricky kind of
- 20:40Speaker 5: has the giggles, but she's also got three things you
- 20:42Speaker 5: need to know.
- 20:43Speaker 3: It's just something, something's happened off air that just they
- 20:46Speaker 3: then transfer onto air.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Kaitlyn Clark has partnered.
- 20:49Speaker 3: With Scholastic to get books in the hands of kids.
- 20:53Speaker 3: So Scholastics donating twenty two thousand new books.
- 20:57Speaker 4: To a Kaitlin Clark Foundation.
- 20:58Speaker 3: These books are going to go to it's in pre
- 21:00Speaker 3: kindergarten through eighth grade who may not have easy access
- 21:04Speaker 3: to books, which is just absolutely amazing. They're going to
- 21:06Speaker 3: be distributed to elementary and middle schools, children's hospitals and nonprofits.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Most of them are going to be given out in Iowa,
- 21:13Speaker 3: where she's from, in Indiana where she's playing. But we
- 21:16Speaker 3: just love to see people doing good things to have
- 21:19Speaker 3: a voice and who have the ability to do these
- 21:22Speaker 3: things and have the money, you know what I mean
- 21:24Speaker 3: in the backing, So we love to see that Caitlin
- 21:26Speaker 3: Clark is doing this. Kudos to her. The White Lotus
- 21:30Speaker 3: has been renewed for season four, which is pretty amazing
- 21:32Speaker 3: considering that the third season doesn't come out until February sixteenth,
- 21:36Speaker 3: so it's not even out yet, but they're already eyeing
- 21:38Speaker 3: production for twenty twenty six. As of right now, it's
- 21:41Speaker 3: unclear where the fourth season is going to take place
- 21:43Speaker 3: or whether any of the cast members from previous seasons
- 21:46Speaker 3: are going to return. When we have more details, I'll
- 21:49Speaker 3: be sure to let you know. And I am waiting
- 21:51Speaker 3: for February sixteenth because I love The White Lotus. It's
- 21:54Speaker 3: so good. If you have not watched any of the episodes,
- 21:57Speaker 3: go watch it now. You don't have to watch the
- 21:59Speaker 3: previous ones to understand the new ones.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Just watch it. It's so good.
- 22:03Speaker 3: And I just absolutely hate sharing these stories. But Portland
- 22:07Speaker 3: brew announced that it's going to close its stores in
- 22:09Speaker 3: six weeks. Their nineteen twenty one Eastland av location is
- 22:13Speaker 3: going to close. News comes after the coffee shop close
- 22:16Speaker 3: their twelfth South location at the end of the summer,
- 22:20Speaker 3: where it served the neighborhood for more than twenty years.
- 22:23Speaker 3: We say this all the time, constantly, Go shop local,
- 22:27Speaker 3: Go support our local businesses, whether it be a restaurant,
- 22:31Speaker 3: a coffee shop, a shop of nick Knacks, a clothing store,
- 22:35Speaker 3: whatever it is. We need to support the local places
- 22:38Speaker 3: here in Nashville and give back to our community so
- 22:40Speaker 3: that we can keep it feeling like Nashville. You know,
- 22:42Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 22:44Speaker 3: need to know.
- 22:45Speaker 2: You're supporting this local radio station. You have so many
- 22:47Speaker 2: choices out there, and we appreciate you. I have a
- 22:49Speaker 2: local every morning exactly the River.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Reiky, Zach and Meno.
- 22:54Speaker 3: In the morning and you're in the shower, do you
- 22:56Speaker 3: scrub and wash your feet and your calves or do
- 23:00Speaker 3: you let the water run down your body and consider that.
- 23:03Speaker 4: A good wash? It's one of seven five the River.
- 23:06Speaker 4: The reason I asked this.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Is that it's a common question that people tend to
- 23:09Speaker 3: ask friends, and we had a full conversation about this yesterday.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Before you say anything, Zach, I'm.
- 23:16Speaker 6: Not saying a word.
- 23:17Speaker 4: What do you do?
- 23:18Speaker 1: Oh?
- 23:18Speaker 2: I definitely wash my feet, my legs, everything with the
- 23:21Speaker 2: bar soap. I don't just trust the water.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Okay, there you have it.
- 23:25Speaker 5: I like to be clean.
- 23:27Speaker 4: I like to be I.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I don't want to criticize anybody listening that might be
- 23:30Speaker 2: the opposite of me, but for me personally, that is
- 23:32Speaker 2: how I feel clean.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Before Zach has his argument because he does not wash
- 23:36Speaker 3: his calves and his feet in the shower.
- 23:38Speaker 6: No, I let the soap do its work. I like
- 23:40Speaker 6: wash down to my knees.
- 23:41Speaker 4: We're gonna get there, because he's not the only one.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Every single man that I asked in this office, pretty
- 23:46Speaker 3: much except for one, does the same thing Zach does.
- 23:49Speaker 3: He just lets really just let the soap in the
- 23:52Speaker 3: water soap do it.
- 23:53Speaker 6: Let the sub do its job.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Do you wash your cat feet in the shower or
- 24:01Speaker 3: do you let the soap do it for you?
- 24:04Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning, John.
- 24:07Speaker 3: In Springfield, when you shower, do you scrub and wash
- 24:09Speaker 3: your calves and feet or do you let the water
- 24:11Speaker 3: run down with the soap.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Every part of my body?
- 24:15Speaker 2: I use a loofa for my feet, and you know,
- 24:18Speaker 2: like some sort of washcloths or something for the rest
- 24:20Speaker 2: of my body has needed. You can eat a meal
- 24:22Speaker 2: off of John's body, I guess if you wanted to.
- 24:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:26Speaker 6: I think it's interesting that not only do you like
- 24:29Speaker 6: clean your feet, but you have a specific different tool
- 24:31Speaker 6: to clean your feet that it doesn't touch the rest
- 24:33Speaker 6: of your body.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just habit.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Yeah, good for you, John.
- 24:37Speaker 3: I think that's a great habit to have. John, thank
- 24:39Speaker 3: you so much for your input. We appreciate you all.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Thinks Jackie and Murphy's Burrow.
- 24:44Speaker 5: Are you like John?
- 24:44Speaker 2: Do you clean every square inch or just let.
- 24:47Speaker 5: The water do whatever the water's gonna do. Like Zach, No, the.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Water is not gonna move with the water.
- 24:52Speaker 6: There.
- 24:52Speaker 5: I feel like.
- 24:54Speaker 6: Girl. I get a pedicure every two weeks.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Does do that?
- 24:57Speaker 3: I will say he does get a pedicure so that
- 25:00Speaker 3: when they scrub his feet, I guess for the first time.
- 25:02Speaker 5: That month, Zach, Can I ask you question?
- 25:04Speaker 2: If you're going to wash your hands in the bathroom here,
- 25:06Speaker 2: do you put a squirt of soap on the palm
- 25:08Speaker 2: of your hand and then just hold it under the
- 25:10Speaker 2: water and let it rinse off and.
- 25:11Speaker 5: Just let the water do it. Or do you like
- 25:13Speaker 5: rub them together?
- 25:14Speaker 6: Well, I rub them together.
- 25:16Speaker 5: You need the friction.
- 25:18Speaker 6: Well, it's also touched in different places than your feet
- 25:20Speaker 6: ever touched.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Kevin, Oh my goodness, Jackie, thank you so much for
- 25:23Speaker 3: calling in.
- 25:23Speaker 4: We appreciate you.
- 25:26Speaker 2: By Zach, We'll just give you the floor here uninterrupted
- 25:28Speaker 2: to make your case.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Okay, I already heard this yesterday and it was the
- 25:31Speaker 3: scariest quote unquote case.
- 25:33Speaker 6: It's just factual information. So yeah, I washed down to
- 25:37Speaker 6: my knees and then I just let the water and
- 25:39Speaker 6: soap drip down and clean my feet. And if I'm
- 25:41Speaker 6: feeling like really dirty, sometimes I like stomp on the
- 25:44Speaker 6: soap in the bottom of the shower like I'm squishing grapes,
- 25:48Speaker 6: so then it cleans me between my toes. But I
- 25:50Speaker 6: just don't understand.
- 25:51Speaker 4: How it's getting in between your toes that way.
- 25:53Speaker 6: Though you got to open them up when you when
- 25:55Speaker 6: you stomp on them.
- 25:55Speaker 3: That doesn't that's not saying that it's getting in between
- 25:58Speaker 3: your toes the way that it needs.
- 25:59Speaker 6: To So many people say that they only wash their
- 26:02Speaker 6: hair once a week or not not that often. How
- 26:05Speaker 6: is that not more discussing than me letting soap drip
- 26:08Speaker 6: down on my feet. Your hair is out in the
- 26:10Speaker 6: public twenty four to seven, like all of these people
- 26:13Speaker 6: with the cold and flu coughing around. Now it's in
- 26:15Speaker 6: your hair. You got all of your dead skin on
- 26:17Speaker 6: your scalp and all of the hair product you're putting
- 26:19Speaker 6: in there, and you're you're telling me to.
- 26:21Speaker 4: Your head and coughing specifically onto your.
- 26:23Speaker 6: Head, specifically onto your head. But if you're coughing, if
- 26:27Speaker 6: they're coughing in your general area or speaking to you
- 26:30Speaker 6: or breathing, you're getting their germs in your hair.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I don't think they do recommend. They don't recommend washing
- 26:34Speaker 2: your hair that off.
- 26:36Speaker 4: They don't.
- 26:36Speaker 5: I hear you, though, you than your hair.
- 26:39Speaker 6: They're clean socks that I put on this morning, and.
- 26:42Speaker 4: If I could make a little they're trapped in there.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Slight argument for Zach he for so long was living
- 26:47Speaker 2: with that bad hip, which he has since had replaced,
- 26:49Speaker 2: but probably just became his routine to bend over.
- 26:54Speaker 6: Yeah, I could have, because you know that that's such
- 26:57Speaker 6: a Lie, I like Kevin on my side.
- 27:00Speaker 5: I couldn't couldn't wash his feet.
- 27:02Speaker 3: To wash your feet, It's absolutely disgusting that you don't.
- 27:05Speaker 3: They're trapped in your shoes, in your socks, your feet
- 27:07Speaker 3: are getting sweaty.
- 27:09Speaker 4: That's gross.
- 27:09Speaker 6: It sounds like you have a footsweat problem, because my
- 27:12Speaker 6: feet are not sweaty. We know Kevin has sweaty feet.
- 27:14Speaker 5: How did this get turned on me?
- 27:17Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Meno In the morning, That bunny was.
- 27:20Speaker 3: On the YouTube channel show Hot Ones, and there is
- 27:24Speaker 3: a specific.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Moment from it that's going viral right now.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Because it is just the cutest little moment ever. It's
- 27:30Speaker 3: today's daily double tap on one O seven five of
- 27:32Speaker 3: the River.
- 27:32Speaker 4: I love Benito, so I know that I'm.
- 27:34Speaker 3: A little biased, but it really is just an adorable moment.
- 27:37Speaker 4: He was struggling through these wings. They were the wings
- 27:41Speaker 4: of death. Did not make it so he had two left.
- 27:44Speaker 3: He didn't make it through the entire way, but he
- 27:46Speaker 3: was struggling at one point, and that's why this part
- 27:49Speaker 3: goes viral.
- 27:50Speaker 5: Ice Cream ice cream.
- 27:52Speaker 6: Yeah, that's on nice Yeah, check it out.
- 27:57Speaker 7: I scream hmm, think yeah, yeah, yeah, I've got you.
- 28:04Speaker 5: I've got you like that ice cream.
- 28:07Speaker 6: I feel like I would have to have the ice
- 28:09Speaker 6: cream too, like they are even.
- 28:11Speaker 3: He couldn have ice cream too, so it was like perfect.
- 28:14Speaker 3: But yeah, it was just an adorable moment. He did
- 28:16Speaker 3: not make it the whole way.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Through you watch it though. It really was a good interview.
- 28:20Speaker 2: So now he goes in the Hall of Shame on
- 28:22Speaker 2: how one he's there with Jim Gaffigan.
- 28:25Speaker 3: I think he's going to ask for a rematch. I
- 28:29Speaker 3: feel like he has to because at the very end
- 28:31Speaker 3: of it he had said like how disappointed he was
- 28:33Speaker 3: with himself because he doesn't like to leave things unfinished,
- 28:36Speaker 3: and there were only two wings left. So I wouldn't
- 28:38Speaker 3: be surprised if he tries to at least come back
- 28:41Speaker 3: and redeem himself.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I mean, he's like he's involved in professional wrestling these days, right,
- 28:44Speaker 2: He's always do to seven. He talks about how he
- 28:47Speaker 2: wants to like risk his life in the ring, but
- 28:49Speaker 2: he couldn't finish the wings, so that didn't Mandy couldn't
- 28:53Speaker 2: make it at one O seven five the River on Instagram.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Will put that video off there, sorry. Put the daily
- 28:57Speaker 2: double tap every
- 28:58Speaker 1: Single day one seven five The River Ricky Zach and
- 29:01Speaker 1: Manno in the morning,
