- 0:18you money? Judge Mathis has to, unfortunately look through the evidence and if
- 0:22you lie ab at your grandma being dead, well Steve Harvey hold that against
- 0:25you. When you don't get paid for your wrestling event, Steve Harvey tells
- 0:29you a real people say justice. This is your gavel gavel huh huh ah

- 1:06I don't you know what's wild is as I simultaneously think we there's no reason
- 1:10we should do those and I also want to be a part of them.
- 1:12Does that make sense? Yeah? Like I want to be there for that
- 1:15discuss, like the rest of this whatever. I'm jealous. I'm missing those.
- 1:19But but I don't think we should do We didn't do them. But
- 1:22there's stuff, there's stuff. It's it's exclusive stuffy. There's exclusies out there.
- 1:27You're not gonna leave exclusiers out there. No, you're not gonna You
- 1:30don't just throw sclues. I can choose how our candy while we record it,
- 1:34That's true. You can't do that on Deck the Homer you used to
- 1:36people complain, Yeah, you can't do that. You can't do that.
- 1:41Man. What a blessing though it is to be doing a gabbled again today,
- 1:45my favorite show. Yeah, it's all of our favorite I didn't we
- 1:49didn't do Christmas Morning though this week. So wouldn't be nice if Gabble was
- 1:52the one that brought in all the money and listens and the Hallmark was the
- 1:57thing we just did on the side. It really would doing a gavel five
- 2:00days a week, dudemes. I would be all in on that. Not
- 2:07that I hate Deck to the homework love it. It's just like this.
- 2:10I love Hallmark movies and I would choose choose to fight a gavel over homework.
- 2:15Yeah, tell ten to twelve thousand of your friends. They must listen
- 2:19and we'll make it happen. Well, we just need a Good Morning America
- 2:23to bring us on to talk a bavel to talk about old courtroom court cases.
- 2:28We're talking about heart, I'm talking about Harvey today. They should be
- 2:30so lucky, they should be So that's an ABC. This is a mathist
- 2:32that was posted seventeen hours ago as of when I watched it this morning?
- 2:36Is it? Did it feel fresh and new? It did? All?
- 2:38Right? Give it? And so let me introduce you to Virginia Wyatt.
- 2:42She's suing her friend. Look, Virginia Wolf Wyatt, who's afraid UH is
- 2:46suing her friend Lakwanda Boswell for five thousand dollars for an unpaid loan. Give
- 2:53me the name of some more time. I got Lakwanda, Virginia Wyatt,
- 2:57Lakwanda Boswell got it. So, Virginia says, we've been friends for five
- 3:00years. She's been a really good friend. But she makes some bad decisions,
- 3:04don't we all? Don't we all? Sometimes I do? Yeah,
- 3:07so sue me. I went to Rockies today. There's just not a bad
- 3:10decision. It's a great decision. Yeah, what was wrong? About it
- 3:14nothing, but it didn't. I uh, well, I got mash taters
- 3:19with it, which is fine. I got pop Mac Poppers, Mac Poppers,
- 3:23right, I love the mac Proppers are so good. But it was
- 3:27a right for me. My kid, did you get the honey Mile?
- 3:30What'd you get? Got a honey mile? But you know what it was?
- 3:34I had Rockies like two days ago to Yeah, you can't get Rocky,
- 3:37can't double up in one week. My kid loves the mac propper so
- 3:39much. I used to get it as a side. There were three of
- 3:42them. I'd share one with him. He can eat. Now I get
- 3:46a plate of it, I get six of them, and he he will
- 3:50eat. I've seen him eat five Mac poppers, my five year old kid.
- 3:53It's an option dominant. You can get us. Yeah, you can
- 3:57get an appetizer portion six or nine mac poppers, right, yeah, maybe
- 4:02going back a third time on me, I wonder if good would like poppers
- 4:05because he loves mac and cheese. Dude, my one kid, I like
- 4:09mac and cheese. The other one he's all in mac Popper's already his jam.
- 4:13Is that the one that likes mac and cheese? Yeah, okay,
- 4:15duh, I'm sorry, I don't know if it was a du Yeah,
- 4:18anyway, Rocky's a good decision. So what was the bad decision? That
- 4:21was it? Okay, great, glad we had it. She makes bad
- 4:25decisions. She's very wild, crazy, loose, she doesn't care. And
- 4:31Mathis is like, okay, what do you mean? And she says,
- 4:33well, she'll go out in the club and just grabs men's crotches. Yeah,
- 4:39that's a bad decision, right, and h and you know, Mathis
- 4:43like all right, classic uh and then she says, and I have to
- 4:49repeat this, it's what she says. She grabs men's crotches, her weave
- 4:54falls off, and Mathis is like, her weave falls off. She's like,
- 5:00yeah, her hair falls off, and she'll just grab it and then
- 5:01keep doing what she's doing. And he's like, so she'll her hair,
- 5:05her fake haroll fall off, She'll grab it and keep grabbing men in the
- 5:10crotch. And Virginia's like, yeah, what is about grabbing men in the
- 5:15crotch that causes her weave to fall off? I don't know. I think
- 5:17she's just trying to explain that she's just like crazy, she just out there.
- 5:21I don't think Okay, and then she goes a step further and basically
- 5:24calls her a prostitute. She says she sleeps with men for clothes, for
- 5:28drinks, anything there's for any reason. And this is her friend that's doing
- 5:31this, her friend of five years fastened in the room. Lakwanda is a
- 5:35loona saying anything. She waits for all that smiles and said, that's not
- 5:39true, your honor, it's a lot, Virginia said. And then this
- 5:43is where it gets This is where it gets offensive. And I just want
- 5:46to let us say this real quick. If if it was a lie,
- 5:50can you imagine someone going on national TV and splendering your name like that,
- 5:57like being like, yeah, it's a lot. Let me tell you Dan.
- 6:00Dan grabs men's crotch and sometimes his hair falls off. Like you wouldn't
- 6:05stand for that. I wouldn't just be like it's a lie. I wouldn't
- 6:08let you complete all of that say it's a lie. But now is where
- 6:11it's gonna get offensive. Oh wow, okay, I thought the crotch grabbing
- 6:15was it, but no, here we are. She said that she'll sleep
- 6:18with any man, and then she says this line, and I can't believe
- 6:21she says it, and I would never say this, No, you wouldn't
- 6:25without it being in quotes. And I'm glad this isn't exclusive. I would
- 6:28never say this otherwise, should they if they have kids listening? Should they
- 6:31not be listening anymore? You shouldn't. Probably not, just from the standpoint
- 6:34of just yeah, she sleeps with men for anything. He could be Asian,
- 6:42white, crippled, anything, she'll sleep with him. Why are you
- 6:54laughing? Why are you not kid someone? What? On TV? There's
- 7:02sue their sue with their friend, And I'm gonna go on a live and
- 7:05say that none of this plays into the case at all, none of it.
- 7:10None of it. She dislikes this person so much as she says that
- 7:15she'll sleep with anybody for anything, it doesn't matter who they are. The
- 7:21three descriptive words White chooses are as white or crippled, and one you never
- 7:31call somebody crippled, that's offensive. And then two to say that like that
- 7:35is someone stooping lower, Like there's so much about that that I was just
- 7:42like appalled by. And Lakwanda says, your honor is this is an exact
- 7:48quote as well. It's pretty surprising that she would try to bounce off my
- 7:53character. I don't know what that means. When Miss Virginia over here is
- 7:58known as a big alcohol holic back where we're from, a big alcoholic,
- 8:03not a small one, like a big, massive alcoholic. They use the
- 8:07word alcoholic in a way that is not accurate at all. I just want
- 8:11to let you know. And Mathis is just trying to stay caught up,
- 8:16and is that true. Virginia says, that's a lie. You're honor,
- 8:20and I think she means the words she words day. She doesn't say day.
- 8:26She says, your honor, I work eleven hours a week. I
- 8:28don't have time to drink. Now I rewound it, and she definitely says
- 8:33eleven hours a week and she doesn't have time to drink because of that hard
- 8:37eleven hours. I'm pretty sure she meant day and they didn't correct her.
- 8:43And then Laquana says, well, before she got that job, she does
- 8:46work a lot now, but before she got that job, she was a
- 8:50big alcoholic. Once again, Lakwanda. An alcoholic is not someone that drinks
- 8:56a lot on a Friday night at the club. An alcoholic is someone who
- 9:00it is a disease. They can't not drink. If they work eleven hour
- 9:03days or no hours a day alcoholic, yes, that either they are.
- 9:07Are you make it work? That's right? Yeah, yeah, you find
- 9:09a way. And then she's seven hours a day is a lot of hours,
- 9:13that's a yes, it's a full doesn't fifty five hours from Monday to
- 9:16Friday. And then she goes on to say she's not a classy drunk,
- 9:22she's a sloppy drunk. I'd say grabbing crotches. Yeah, no, no,
- 9:24no, la Kwanda is the one grabbing thing. No, Virginia is
- 9:28the one. And she does that without any alcohol. She just doesn't.
- 9:31She's just like, you know, where am I going to crotch grab a
- 9:33night? Mathis said basically says, wait a minute, she's a sloppy drunk.
- 9:41And then he says, once again a line I would never say out
- 9:43loud, but I it's my look. If I your job, if I
- 9:48had had time to watch a different case, I would have I didn't.
- 9:50Okay, just truth be told. So math is fair. Lakwanda is going
- 9:54on about it, she's a sloppy drunk, big alcoholic, and Mathis is
- 9:58like, well, wait a minute, well what what about you at the
- 10:01club, you with your hoe wig? Little said this. Mathis says this
- 10:07to Lakwonda about her weave you with your hoe wig, Matthews, you can't
- 10:13say that. Well, yeah, there's a lot of things in his courtroom
- 10:16that should never be said. I don't think. I don't listen. I
- 10:22don't know enough about weave culture. No, you can't say that. But
- 10:26you can't say this's just did. You can't Mathis did. He's not canceled.
- 10:31Virginia says, your honor, not only is she like that, but
- 10:37everything she said about me being a sloppy drunk alcohol blah blah blah, that's
- 10:39all a lot. Oh my gosh, such a lot. And Lakwanda says,
- 10:43I have evidence, your Honor, and matthis looks and it's like,
- 10:48okay, well, here's the problem is we've not even gotten why the suit
- 10:52is happening. As you can tell, all of this is going to be
- 10:54very meaningless. Great, so she says, one time, Virginia, it
- 11:00got so drunk she stripped naked and climbed up a tree and had somebody take
- 11:07a picture of her, and then they posted that picture on the internet.
- 11:11Yeah, that's called college. Like that doesn't make you an alcoholic. Well,
- 11:15and that's the thing is. She submits it as evidence, and Mathis
- 11:20looks at it and as soon as he turns the picture o her, he
- 11:22immediately averts his eyes and turns it back over. Oh wow, he goes,
- 11:28yeah, yeah, just like that. It's a really weird moment in
- 11:31the courtroom. Doesn't matter at all, doesn't matter one bit. Great,
- 11:33let's get to the Virginia's like Lawanda called me and asked for a loan,
- 11:37and she had been pulled over a few times and was about to lose her
- 11:41license. Okay, why so apparently she asked to borrow five thousand dollars.
- 11:50If she got one more ticket, she was gonna go to jail. So
- 11:52she asked to borrow five thousand, five thousand dollars for that for what.
- 11:54We'll get there in a second. But Virginia doesn't explain it. Okay.
- 11:58So Mathis is sitting there going, man, this is a mess. And
- 12:01then she says, we wrote a promisory note. Virginia says, this matthis
- 12:05is shocked. I'm shocked. He's like, wow, okay, And she
- 12:09said she she signed she'd pay her back five thousand dollars and starting in July,
- 12:13she was supposed to pay me two hundred dollars a month, hasn't paid
- 12:16me a dime. Called it all on the note, Yes, the promise
- 12:18her and of the payment plan. Stuff called her, texted her phone number
- 12:22changed, wouldn't ignore me when I went to her house. Finally she texted
- 12:26me said she was going to start paying me. Blah blah blah. Mathis
- 12:30then says, uh, is this any Is this true? And Laquana says,
- 12:33part of it's true. I did sign that note. I had gotten
- 12:39pulled over. Uh, and if I got and pulled over one more time,
- 12:41I was going to go to jail. He's like, but why do
- 12:43you need five thousand dollars? And so this is when all of this come
- 12:46out, She says. So I had a bunch of unpaid tickets I had
- 12:52to pay. Ah. Uh. Virginia had come into some money, started
- 12:56working this new job, got a big tax return, and so I knew
- 13:00she had the money. I asked her to borrow it. And then I
- 13:03also bought my five year old daughter a new bedroom set and a new wardrobe,
- 13:07and matthis is like with her money? And she said I didn't I
- 13:13didn't feel she said, I felt entitled to some of it. She had
- 13:16so much of it, okay. And Mathis is like, so you thought
- 13:20you could just spend her money, And Virginia said, she didn't even tell
- 13:24me she was doing all that with the daughter, the money for the daughter,
- 13:26until when she asked her five thousand dollars, did she have this bedroom
- 13:28set in wardrobe in mind? No, she no, she just just had
- 13:31some left over, that's right, exactly. So then Lawanda tries to say,
- 13:37you don't understand. She's going out at the club, bottle service,
- 13:41all these new friends, and Mathis gives this huge lecture about how it doesn't
- 13:45matter what she does with her money. It's her money, she can do
- 13:46whatever she wants with it. It's it's totally fine for her to do whatever
- 13:52she wants with her money. And so basically she's like, you tricked your
- 13:56friend and letting her bother bother money or borrow money from you, and and
- 14:01that's not okay. And she's got a different set of friends and she she
- 14:05doesn't have to tell you how she spends her money. And if you borrow
- 14:09money, you have to pay it back. And Lakwanda says, well,
- 14:13if you put it that way, and now Mathis is ready to rule.
- 14:18I think I think she's gonna have to pay the full five thousand dollars,
- 14:22full five thousand dollars. And then after that a giant fight breaks out.
- 14:26Yeah, and then finally Virginia says, oh, what happened to you?
- 14:30And then she holds up her driver's license and goes valid valid Love that.
- 14:35Yeah, that was Judge Mathis today. And there's the gabble. Well,
- 14:37that was a massive waste of time. It was an entire just an astounding
- 14:41waste of time. So you're telling me asian what or cripple those are the
- 14:46options. Yes, unbelievable. That had nothing to do with the case,
- 14:52nothing at all. Pure character assassination. It's all that. Let's go to
- 14:56Steve Harvey. Let's go I want to introduce it to Johnny fan Play,
- 15:00who is suing n That's well, that's his Yeah, it's just like,
- 15:03yeah, sure, Ron Ron Gossett is who he saw Ron Gossip is.
- 15:09He's suing Ron Gossip for five thousand dollars for wrestling appearance fees. All right,
- 15:16yep, So Johnny Fairplay is famous quote unquote, uh he was on
- 15:22I believe one of the first seasons of Survivor. We don't talk about this
- 15:26before we do it, And right before you hit record, you said you
- 15:28ever heard Johnny fair Play And I was like, no, okay, Johnny
- 15:31fair Play is somewhat famous for lying about his grandma dying on Survivor. Oh
- 15:37well, that wasn't the first season. I'd remember him, because that's the
- 15:39only season I want, So Johnny. They basically had this thing where they
- 15:48could see a family member or something, and that they had like all their
- 15:54fair the family members show up, uh, and it was supposed to be
- 15:58his grandma. His grandma didn't show up. His buddy showed up and told
- 16:03him that his grandma died. So when it came to voting for who would
- 16:08get to spend time with that family member, they all voted for Johnny because
- 16:14they felt bad for you. That's that's how to outwit outplay out last right
- 16:18there. Like, I'm not saying it's morally right, but if this is
- 16:22really about survival and winning, I mean that's next level. Eventually I think
- 16:26they found out, but yeah, well, OK, so ever since then,
- 16:29he's been doing like random things that use his quote unquote fame his notoriety
- 16:33similar to what we do. And one of those things is wrestling, which
- 16:37I would love. This would be so much fun. You and I get
- 16:41get in the ring. Let me tell you something, brother, That's exactly
- 16:44right. So he's more he doesn't really wrestle. He's more of like a
- 16:48bad guy manager like Mouth of the South. Yea, yeah, yeah,
- 16:51I get you. And so he did six. He's done six appearances for
- 16:56Ron over the course of a few years and had a great relationship with him.
- 17:00Said he was a nice guy, liked working for him. So when
- 17:03the time, I think it was twenty eighteen, he gets a call to
- 17:07come work for him again, and he's like, all right, I'm down
- 17:11to clown. Ron says that he what are you saying? Is correct.
- 17:15So we get to the event and it's supposed to be done in an outdoor
- 17:18rodeo establishment, if you will, you know, like a rodeo, an
- 17:22outdoor rodeo established, Yeah, like a inside of a pint, but not
- 17:29indoors rodeo outdoor, Yes, And it gets rained out, big thunderstorm comes,
- 17:34they can't do the event, so they have to cancel. So Johnny
- 17:41says that he would be paid for this event two dollars for the appearance.
- 17:45Okay, the event gets rained out. He says, I showed up,
- 17:48I was in my costume, I was ready to go. And when it
- 17:52gets canceled, Ron says, instead of paying you now, I will pay
- 17:56you double at the next show. So I'll pay you for the show.
- 17:59But if you I'll pay you five grand. I'll pay you five grand at
- 18:03the next one. I'll pay you for the next one, and then I'll
- 18:03pay for this one because the event will happen, I'll have the money,
- 18:07we will be good to go. We'll double up. We'll make it right.
- 18:12And so he says, he says, okay, I'll do it.
- 18:15So, uh, he didn't really want that, But like, what are
- 18:18you gonna do? What are you gonna do? Ron says, I'm not
- 18:21a meteorologist, can't predict this. Of course, not fair enough, Ron,
- 18:25So Johnny ends up saying yet. So the next show happens to be
- 18:29on October seventh in Atlanta, and something else was going on that night.
- 18:33The Braves are playing the Dodgers in the place. Oh boy, a big
- 18:38series. So there's a small little indie wrestling promotion going on having an event
- 18:44the same night as the Braves Dodgers. No one's coming. Those rednecks are
- 18:49going to pull for the Braves. Steve Harvey says, I know what happened
- 18:52here. You have to go. You have to secure a venue well in
- 18:56advance. No one could have expect did the Braves to be good? And
- 19:02so you have this thing happen and then the Braves are there. What are
- 19:06you to do? Ron says, yes, thank you. So the night
- 19:10comes and only a couple hundred people buy tickets for this event. They are
- 19:14expecting a couple thousand, so they end up canceling the event, refund the
- 19:18people they're gonna cancel. So he goes to Johnny fairplay and he says,
- 19:25if you come back next time, I'll make it right. So, in
- 19:27theory, at this next event, if Johnny shows up, does his one
- 19:33appearance, he'll get paid seventy five hundred dollars for it. That's according to
- 19:37Ron. Yeah, okay, So they all agree on this, okay,
- 19:41And basically Johnny says no. He says, I want my money. I'm
- 19:48not gonna keep doing this like I keep showing up. I'm not gonna keep
- 19:51doing this. And they had a contract originally. Yeah, okay. So
- 19:56Ron says that this type of stuff happens from time to time and I always
- 19:59make it and I have a characters witness that character witnesses Big Papa Pump,
- 20:04Scott Scott Steiner. Scott Steiner is there and uh he said in a video.
- 20:10He wasn't there in person, but he says, yeah, he's gotta
- 20:12he's gotta pump. So he says, I've worked with Ron many many times
- 20:18over the years. I trust him. One n I did this, I
- 20:22did all the events, and I did the third show and I got paid
- 20:27in full. Johnny needs to stop being a little b and if he doesn't
- 20:33like the way that this is, he can wrestle me for the money he
- 20:36can and shut his mouth. That's exactly that's right. No, he said,
- 20:41you can wrestle me. It was a whole thing and the crowds love
- 20:42it, and Scott Scott says. Steve says, I know, Scott,
- 20:45you don't want to wrestle Scott. The whole thing. Class guys, Steven,
- 20:49Papa Pump. They run in the same circle and those guys meet each
- 20:53other all the time, all the time. So judge to be clear pop
- 21:00a pump was in the same exact situation. He came to the third event,
- 21:04he got paid his full amount for the first two shows that never happened,
- 21:07plus the third, and Ron says, yes, that's what happened.
- 21:11So he says that that's you know, I would have done the same.
- 21:17I did the same for all the wrestlers. I went in the same exact
- 21:18situation. I would have done it for Johnny if he had just shut up
- 21:22and done the job. So Steve then ask Johnny, Johnny, do you
- 21:26like, how was your relationship with Ron prior to this? And he said,
- 21:32you know, it was good. You know I would get paid.
- 21:34I was a little short here and there. He says, I got,
- 21:37you know, fifty dollars short. And Ron says, that's dumb. If
- 21:40you're gonna pay twenty five hundred dollars to show up, I'm not gonna keep
- 21:42fifty dollars like as I'm trying to like like mess you up. I'm gonna
- 21:48listen. And then he says, I'm a championship wrestler and promoter. At
- 21:52this point, he takes out a wrestling belt, good gosh, puts it
- 21:55on, puts it on his uh his shoulder, as you do, and
- 21:57he says, I'd be happy to let him r me for it. Why
- 22:00are people resulting to fight me for money? I don't know, but Steve
- 22:04says, I would love to make that happen. ABC won't allow it,
- 22:08so instead, I've reached my verdict. So I think the problem is that
- 22:14we're dealing with wild card Harvey over here. We are. Well, it
- 22:17could be like you'll mud wrestle and I'll save the money, and there's real
- 22:21noans in this one. I would give it. Here's what I would do.
- 22:23He don't want to do an event. I'd give him twenty five hundred.
- 22:26I wouldn't give him the double. I wouldn't give him the triple.
- 22:29I wouldn't say you got to go do another one. I would say twenty
- 22:32five hund Oh, that's what you agreed to Rain or Sean. You get
- 22:34that money, twenty five hundred dollars. So Steve says, I'm a little
- 22:38messed up here. You said those ros. He says, I don't want
- 22:42to be a judge no more. Normally, he says, the story helps
- 22:48me with my verdict. Story doesn't help me here. So he says,
- 22:53Johnny if you would have just gone to the third event, you would have
- 22:57been paid. Not fair though not fair. But here's the thing, the
- 23:03event happened. Ron, you made it right with all the other wrestlers.
- 23:08Just because he didn't come to the third doesn't mean you shouldn't make it right
- 23:12with Johnny gives them five thousand dollars for both of the events that he showed
- 23:18up to. Boom Wow, you know what, no shenanigans. I like
- 23:22that better than mine. There you go, I like it better than mine.
- 23:25I'm all messed up here. Steve Harvey a good dah. That was
- 23:30pretty pretty cut and dry. Pretty cut and dry sometimes, isn't it?
- 23:34It should be. It's not a foreign it's not a foreign concept. Justicism.
- 23:37Sometimes the gabble is, well, yeah, that's fair. Sometimes you're
- 23:40in the club just grabbing men's crotches, don't I know it? On the
- 23:45receiving any better? Just shut it down the bay side. Until then,
- 23:55they were the first to wish you all right, yo. Gabble Gabbles a
