- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Prince Andrew is back in the spotlight once again,
- 0:10Speaker 1: and this time it has to do with what will
- 0:12Speaker 1: happen when he finally checks out, and considering his status
- 0:17Speaker 1: as a royal, usually it would be a no brainer
- 0:21Speaker 1: that he would have himself a royal funeral, right. Unfortunately
- 0:24Speaker 1: for him, these are not normal circumstances, and the fact
- 0:29Speaker 1: that he's been stripped of all of his titles, of
- 0:32Speaker 1: all of his honorifics, that should play a role when
- 0:37Speaker 1: it comes to the pomp and circumstance surrounding his funeral
- 0:40Speaker 1: when that time comes. So for me, the real question
- 0:43Speaker 1: is why should the taxpayer be on the hook for it?
- 0:47Speaker 1: If the royal family wants to, you know, pay for
- 0:50Speaker 1: it out of their own privy purse, then cool. But
- 0:54Speaker 1: Joe and Jane, citizens of the UK, regular old people,
- 0:58Speaker 1: why should they have to pay for this? Isn't it
- 1:01Speaker 1: not enough that they let this dude grift off of
- 1:03Speaker 1: them for his whole life, But now even after he
- 1:07Speaker 1: passes away, whenever that happens, they're gonna have to pay
- 1:11Speaker 1: again for a royal funeral. I would think that that
- 1:13Speaker 1: public money would be better spend elsewhere, but I guess not.
- 1:17Speaker 1: And look again, if he wants to privately have some
- 1:19Speaker 1: kind of procession, cool whatever, as long as he's paying
- 1:22Speaker 1: for it or his family's paying for it. Today's article
- 1:26Speaker 1: is from the International Business Times and the headline taxpayers
- 1:30Speaker 1: will emphatically not wish to be involved disgraced Andrew's royal
- 1:35Speaker 1: funeral backlash. This article was authored by Asha Aniga. Royal
- 1:41Speaker 1: protocol and public accountability collided dramatically when leaked Whitehall documents
- 1:46Speaker 1: revealed that Andrew mount Batten Windsor remains officially slated for
- 1:50Speaker 1: a high profile ceremonial send off. Can you imagine how
- 1:55Speaker 1: many people would not go to this? How many people
- 1:57Speaker 1: would boycott it? We know Victoria Hervey would be there,
- 2:01Speaker 1: but besides that, I don't know if anybody would be there. Well,
- 2:05Speaker 1: maybe uh Alan Dershowitz too, but besides that, who wants
- 2:10Speaker 1: to show up at Prince Andrew's anything. Despite being stripped
- 2:15Speaker 1: of his military affiliations, HRH style and working royal titles
- 2:19Speaker 1: following severe scandals involving convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the
- 2:24Speaker 1: sixty six year old former Duke of York is quietly
- 2:27Speaker 1: preserved within the government's confidential contingency framework known as Bridge Plans.
- 2:33Speaker 1: So now that this is public, my guess is they're
- 2:36Speaker 1: going to adjust this. I don't think Prince Andrew is
- 2:39Speaker 1: going to get himself a royal procession through London. I
- 2:42Speaker 1: don't think we'll see a bunch of people lying in
- 2:44Speaker 1: the streets to get a good look at the Prince.
- 2:47Speaker 1: On the flip side of that, I'm sure that some
- 2:49Speaker 1: of Epstein's survivors wouldn't be missing any sleep whatsoever when
- 2:54Speaker 1: the time comes. In fact, I think they'll be popping bottles.
- 2:58Speaker 1: The revelation is ignited intense public outrage across the UK,
- 3:03Speaker 1: with politicians, legal advocates and taxpayer groups demanding immediate revisions,
- 3:08Speaker 1: and I think you're going to hear that clamor grow
- 3:11Speaker 1: and more people demand that the UK taxpayer is not
- 3:15Speaker 1: on the hook for this. And look, I'm not trying
- 3:19Speaker 1: to be cruel, right, if somebody passes away, their family
- 3:23Speaker 1: has every right in the world to send them off.
- 3:27Speaker 1: My beef is with the taxpayers paying for it. I
- 3:31Speaker 1: don't find that to be acceptable, and hell, obviously it's
- 3:35Speaker 1: not even my money, right, But I think it's just
- 3:39Speaker 1: a complete abuse of power. Honestly, these people have more
- 3:44Speaker 1: money than you can imagine, but the taxpayer is on
- 3:47Speaker 1: the hook to bury Prince Andrew's bitch ass. Critics argue
- 3:53Speaker 1: that affording state backed honors to a disgrace private citizen
- 3:56Speaker 1: represents an insult to victims and an unacceptable burden on
- 4:00Speaker 1: public finances, throwing the monarchy into a fresh wave of
- 4:04Speaker 1: intense scrutiny over institutional transparency and modern relevance. And I
- 4:09Speaker 1: think that's all fair and valid. It's no shock to
- 4:14Speaker 1: anybody that the royal family isn't at its most popular
- 4:17Speaker 1: place right now, and with the Queen passing away and
- 4:21Speaker 1: Charles taking over, obviously they don't have the shy and
- 4:25Speaker 1: they once had, and people are not as willing to
- 4:28Speaker 1: overlook the bullshit. The reason people were so willing when
- 4:32Speaker 1: the Queen was alive is because so many loved her
- 4:34Speaker 1: and respected her. But she's gone now and Prince Andrew
- 4:40Speaker 1: and King Charles can no longer hide behind her skirts.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Time for them both to step up and be men.
- 4:47Speaker 1: The claim surfaced in The Mail on Sunday, which alleged
- 4:50Speaker 1: that the former Duke of York retains his original final arrangements,
- 4:54Speaker 1: despite King Charles stripping his official titles last year. How
- 4:59Speaker 1: how's that even possible? If he was stripped, shouldn't that
- 5:02Speaker 1: mean all the honors that come with it go away,
- 5:05Speaker 1: including a state run funeral. Ivy Times UK has not
- 5:09Speaker 1: independently verified the contents of the reported funeral plans. The
- 5:13Speaker 1: Cabinet Office in Buckingham Palace has declined to comment. Yeah,
- 5:17Speaker 1: they're not gonna say anything. They never do. One thing
- 5:20Speaker 1: I've learned about Buckingham Palace and the Royal Family is
- 5:23Speaker 1: they don't talk. They don't say anything. When a scandal's brewing,
- 5:29Speaker 1: forget it. They're gonna retreat into the bunker and they're
- 5:33Speaker 1: just gonna wait for things to pass over. And that's
- 5:36Speaker 1: what they tried to do with Epstein for all those years,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and it didn't work. The more they swept that under
- 5:42Speaker 1: the rug with Prince Andrew, the bigger of a problem
- 5:44Speaker 1: it became, until finally it detonated. But the Royal family
- 5:50Speaker 1: was certainly aware of what Prince Andrew was doing, who
- 5:52Speaker 1: he was with, and they ignored it all because the
- 5:56Speaker 1: Queen didn't want her darling boy, Prince Andrew to have
- 6:01Speaker 1: any trouble, but facilitating his bullshit led to more trouble
- 6:06Speaker 1: than actually calling him on it. Pertinently, the former prince
- 6:12Speaker 1: lost his military titles and royal patronages under his mother,
- 6:16Speaker 1: the late Queen Elizabeth the Second. This demotion happened after
- 6:20Speaker 1: he faced the US civil action over sexual assault allegations,
- 6:24Speaker 1: which he denied. Virginia Roberts had sued Mount Battan Windsor
- 6:28Speaker 1: for allegedly sexually assaulting her when she was seventeen, a
- 6:31Speaker 1: case that reached an out of court settlement in the millions. Allegedly,
- 6:36Speaker 1: is it okay? I guess all that I know is
- 6:39Speaker 1: that if I had the money that Prince Andrew has,
- 6:42Speaker 1: I'm not going into a settlement with anybody. If I'm innocent,
- 6:46Speaker 1: I'll see you in court. But obviously Prince Andrew didn't
- 6:51Speaker 1: want to get the discovery. Obviously Prince Andrew didn't want
- 6:55Speaker 1: to sit for a deposition and ask yourself, is that
- 6:58Speaker 1: the behavior of an innocent man? Or is that the
- 7:00Speaker 1: behavior of somebody that has a lot of shit to hide? Later,
- 7:04Speaker 1: King Charles stripped his younger brother of his remaining royal titles.
- 7:08Speaker 1: This occurred when the US Department of Justice released a
- 7:11Speaker 1: tranch of files relating to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Further
- 7:16Speaker 1: allegations were brought against Mount Baton Windsor at the time. Look,
- 7:21Speaker 1: there is a lot of evidence that Prince Andrew was
- 7:24Speaker 1: passing along state secrets, not just to Jeffrey Epstein, but
- 7:28Speaker 1: the other people. And that's something that's pretty important. Right.
- 7:33Speaker 1: You're the trade envoy, the son of the queen, and
- 7:38Speaker 1: you're hopping in bed with every scumbag you meet, whether
- 7:41Speaker 1: it's a Libyan arms dealer, a Chinese fraudster or Jeffrey Epstein.
- 7:46Speaker 1: And for what to have a little bit more? Oh
- 7:49Speaker 1: I need a little bit more money, I need a
- 7:50Speaker 1: free stay, I need this, I need that, Lafongoul. You
- 7:54Speaker 1: don't need any of it. You were the Prince of England, dude,
- 7:58Speaker 1: and you ruin the whole entire thing. So don't come
- 8:00Speaker 1: crying to us with hat in hand now about how
- 8:03Speaker 1: rough you have it. Every single issue you have in
- 8:06Speaker 1: your life, Joe Exotic of the Windsor family is of
- 8:10Speaker 1: your own making. The fact that reports say the plans
- 8:14Speaker 1: have not yet been updated is described by some as
- 8:17Speaker 1: an administrative oversight. Royal historian raf Hadel Manku told gb
- 8:23Speaker 1: News that given Andrew's age and health, any decision on
- 8:27Speaker 1: his funeral is unlikely soon. And I think that's true, right.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I don't think there's any sign that Prince Andrew is
- 8:33Speaker 1: suffering from any sort of ailment. But when you get
- 8:36Speaker 1: of an age, shit can happen quick. Go to sleep
- 8:40Speaker 1: one night and you just don't wake up. How many
- 8:43Speaker 1: times have we heard that story? So obviously I don't
- 8:47Speaker 1: think Prince Andrew is, you know, teetering on the edge
- 8:51Speaker 1: or anything like that. But when you're a royal and
- 8:54Speaker 1: you're somebody that's a public figure in the royal family,
- 8:57Speaker 1: of course there's going to be talk about what after, right,
- 9:01Speaker 1: kind of morbid, But here we are. He noted that
- 9:07Speaker 1: the issues around it are not going to be made
- 9:09Speaker 1: until King William is on the throne. And we know
- 9:12Speaker 1: that the Prince of Wales has adopted the harshest of
- 9:14Speaker 1: attitudes towards his uncle, with a new sovereign genuinely risk
- 9:19Speaker 1: public ire to honor in a strange relative, the messy
- 9:24Speaker 1: stuff of updating official protocols will simply fall to the
- 9:27Speaker 1: next generation. Well, if that's what he's counting on, he
- 9:30Speaker 1: is fit because William wants nothing to do with Prince
- 9:35Speaker 1: Andrew's bullshit. That is one thing that I'm sure of.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I'm not sure very much when it comes to this story,
- 9:42Speaker 1: but I'm pretty sure that Prince William wants nothing to
- 9:45Speaker 1: do with Uncle Touchy. Earlier this year, the former Duke
- 9:50Speaker 1: was arrested by Thames Valley Police on suspicion of misconduct
- 9:54Speaker 1: and public office when he was Trade Envoy. He was
- 9:57Speaker 1: later released under investigation. Additionally, he was evicted from his
- 10:01Speaker 1: house of more than two decades, Royal Lodge, and moved
- 10:04Speaker 1: into Marsh Farms on the King Sandringham estate. These developments
- 10:09Speaker 1: make a state funded farewell seem rather mad to critics.
- 10:12Speaker 1: So he got moved from one estate to the next.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Must be rough, huh. Imagine having such a tough life
- 10:19Speaker 1: two years ago. About three years ago, now our landlord
- 10:24Speaker 1: who we were renting from for about seven years passed away,
- 10:28Speaker 1: and of course that means there is probably going to
- 10:31Speaker 1: be changes, right, well, changes came. His family decided that
- 10:35Speaker 1: they were going to sell that unit and we had
- 10:38Speaker 1: one month to find some place to live. So Prince
- 10:41Speaker 1: Andrew and his little fucking sob stories about moving from
- 10:45Speaker 1: mansion to mansion, please miss me with all of it.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Any ceremony for Mount Baton Windsor which traditionally include recognition
- 10:54Speaker 1: of his service during the Falklands War. There he served
- 10:58Speaker 1: as a Royal Navy helicopter COPAI aboard the aircraft carrier
- 11:01Speaker 1: HMS Invincible. He also held honorary colonelcies of the Grenadier Guards,
- 11:08Speaker 1: the Royal Irish Regiment and the Royal Regiment of Scotland. However,
- 11:12Speaker 1: all these military affiliations were removed amid the Epstein scandal,
- 11:17Speaker 1: as they should have been. This man should have no
- 11:21Speaker 1: honorifics sorry. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams explained to the People's
- 11:27Speaker 1: Channel that the idea he should be offered a royal
- 11:29Speaker 1: funeral is clearly preposterous as he has been stripped of
- 11:33Speaker 1: his royal titles. He noted that this is a prime
- 11:37Speaker 1: example of paperwork lagging behind reality. This is an issue
- 11:41Speaker 1: where plans have very clearly not been updated, Fitzwilliams said.
- 11:45Speaker 1: The expert pointed out that the former prince received a
- 11:48Speaker 1: record low popularity rating in Yugov's latest polling, sitting at
- 11:53Speaker 1: just two percent two percent, so basically Victoria Hervey right
- 11:58Speaker 1: this dismal figure under Lind's a key point of criticism
- 12:01Speaker 1: among some members of the public. Taxpayers will emphatically not
- 12:05Speaker 1: wish to be involved in any such event, as he's
- 12:08Speaker 1: a private citizen, fitz Williams added, with Hugov polling placing
- 12:13Speaker 1: the former Prince's public approval at a dismal two percent.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Financial experts and parliamentarians a like stress that any eventual
- 12:20Speaker 1: proceeding must be strictly private and funded entirely out of
- 12:24Speaker 1: private pockets rather than through the public purse. Well, isn't
- 12:29Speaker 1: that a good idea? Imagine that paying for your own shit.
- 12:33Speaker 1: So not only in life, was Prince Andrew grifting, This
- 12:36Speaker 1: son of a bitch is trying to grift after the
- 12:38Speaker 1: fact too. Now, with all of that said, I don't
- 12:40Speaker 1: think any of it it's gonna come to pass, And
- 12:43Speaker 1: that's because Prince William is not suffering his foolish uncle
- 12:47Speaker 1: Joe exotic. So, like usual, we'll keep an eye on it,
- 12:52Speaker 1: and when we have some more information one way or
- 12:53Speaker 1: the other, will update the catalog. All the information that
- 12:57Speaker 1: goes with this episode can be found in the description
- 13:00Speaker 1: box
