- 0:00Speaker 1: This is Kiss Breakfast.
- 0:02Speaker 2: And Amy's got to hit a celeb news. What's going on?
- 0:04Speaker 1: I do.
- 0:05Speaker 3: So a US talk show host has admitted to injuring
- 0:09Speaker 3: herself in the most embarrassing way.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Kelly Ripper.
- 0:13Speaker 3: I mean, that's a ripper of a last name. She
- 0:17Speaker 3: is one of the hosts of the major morning TV
- 0:19Speaker 3: show in the US. And she was talking to the
- 0:21Speaker 3: audience during an ad break and told a story of
- 0:25Speaker 3: how she hurt her back whilst on the toilet and
- 0:30Speaker 3: And it's something so small and simple, but I absolutely
- 0:34Speaker 3: can understand how this would happen. Okay.
- 0:36Speaker 1: So you know when you're.
- 0:37Speaker 3: At home and you have your toilet that you sit
- 0:40Speaker 3: on and most toilets, I'm just trying to think about
- 0:43Speaker 3: our toilet now here. Well, all my toilets are home.
- 0:47Speaker 3: The toilet rolls are to your left. So you kind
- 0:50Speaker 3: of have to lean to your left. You're twisting your
- 0:52Speaker 3: back to your left to get your toilet roll out.
- 0:55Speaker 3: She said that she was staying at a hotel where
- 0:57Speaker 3: the toilet roll was on her right.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Mine is at home.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Mine's on the right.
- 1:01Speaker 2: And she wasn't used to twisting.
- 1:02Speaker 1: In that direction. Right. And as a result of having
- 1:06Speaker 1: to twist the other way, she has completely thrown her
- 1:10Speaker 1: back out. Have a listen to her telling the audience.
- 1:13Speaker 1: You want to hear what I did? It's really embarrassing.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Guess how I hurt my back. Sitting on a toilet. Typically,
- 1:25Speaker 2: the toilet tissue is on this side, like a normal person,
- 1:29Speaker 2: but we were staying at a hotel.
- 1:31Speaker 1: It was over here, so I went like that and
- 1:34Speaker 1: hurt my back.
- 1:37Speaker 2: It's just as you get older.
- 1:40Speaker 3: You know, when I go down and visit my parents,
- 1:42Speaker 3: my parents, where their toilet is, their toilet roll holder
- 1:45Speaker 3: is so far to the left, you have to like
- 1:48Speaker 3: lean almost off the seat. So I can imagine if
- 1:51Speaker 3: I was used to turning to the left, doing my
- 1:54Speaker 3: body twist to the left.
- 1:55Speaker 2: It's literally right getting older. Like I remember waking up once,
- 1:59Speaker 2: couldn't move my neck. No reason. There's no reason.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah, it's because you slept wrong.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Yeah, obviously, right?
- 2:04Speaker 3: You slept like pinched a nerve or something.
- 2:06Speaker 2: But I don't remember ever having that as a kid
- 2:08Speaker 2: or a teenager. I was like screwed for days.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Well, it's like if I.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Have a fall in netball, which is not very often, professional,
- 2:17Speaker 3: but when you do, you don't bounce anymore.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You get up and you are sore.
- 2:23Speaker 3: I've fallen on my hip and I felt like I'd
- 2:25Speaker 3: been in a car accident for a solid week.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Is there an age where you'll have to stop playing netball?
- 2:30Speaker 1: Nah, well, until I get injured, I reckon.
- 2:33Speaker 2: No, but are there like 60-year-old women playing netball?
- 2:35Speaker 1: I think our goal shooter is 50.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's so fast.
- 2:40Speaker 2: But you could be doing it at like 78 or something, surely.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You would be surprised.
- 2:44Speaker 3: There are, like, and the indoor netball that I play
- 2:47Speaker 3: on a Friday, there are, I swear to God, there
- 2:49Speaker 3: is this one lady, and I reckon she's 80 years old.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Wow, okay.
- 2:53Speaker 1: And she looks great. kind of like a skeleton.
- 2:57Speaker 3: And I don't want to be her defendant because I'm like,
- 3:00Speaker 3: imagine if I run into her or knock her over
- 3:03Speaker 3: or take her out.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I'm just so like.
- 3:05Speaker 2: You've killed the old lady.
- 3:06Speaker 1: That's right. But she's so good and good on her.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Good on her, yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Anyway, another Hollywood couple have welcomed their first baby. And
- 3:14Speaker 3: the name they've chosen is kind of a little bit cheeky.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Do you remember Taylor Lautner?
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:20Speaker 3: So he was the guy Jacob in the Twilight movies,
- 3:23Speaker 3: a bit of a heartthrob. Yep. He married a girl,
- 3:26Speaker 3: also Taylor, Dome.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I remember that, yes.
- 3:29Speaker 3: And obviously she did the right thing and she took
- 3:31Speaker 3: his last name. So now they're both named Taylor Lautner.
- 3:34Speaker 2: That's just confusing, though, is it not? It is confusing.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I don't know. Whose male is what?
- 3:38Speaker 2: And at least maybe spell it slightly differently.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Like spell hers T-A-Y-L-A-H or something.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I don't know. Taylor. Yeah.
- 3:48Speaker 3: She goes by Tay, obviously, to keep things confusing. Oh, okay.
- 3:52Speaker 3: They've just welcomed their first little baby, a beautiful little girl,
- 3:55Speaker 3: and guess what?
- 3:57Speaker 1: They've named her.
- 3:58Speaker 2: No.
- 3:58Speaker 3: No, they didn't name her Taylor, but they did throw
- 4:01Speaker 3: it in there. They've called her Lennon.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Yeah, first name. Lennon, first name Lennon, and then Taylor Lautner.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Oh.
- 4:08Speaker 1: And I'm like, why?
- 4:09Speaker 2: They're obsessed with Taylor, aren't they? Did you have your kids'
- 4:12Speaker 2: names all picked or did it just come to you?
- 4:17Speaker 3: From the age of 12 years old, I had written
- 4:20Speaker 3: in my diary that when I have children and I
- 4:23Speaker 3: have a little girl, I want her to be called Charlie.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Really?
- 4:27Speaker 3: From literally as young as 12. I loved the name
- 4:31Speaker 3: Charlie for a girl.
- 4:32Speaker 2: So you had the girl's name picked? What about your
- 4:34Speaker 2: two boys?
- 4:34Speaker 1: Nah, two boys had nothing. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Bobby was just a random like last minute, oh, Bobby's cool.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 3: And then, yeah, just I always think to myself, imagine
- 4:44Speaker 3: if Ryan hadn't liked the name Charlie for a girl.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I basically didn't give him an option.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Oh, guys don't care.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I think they do, do they?
- 4:51Speaker 2: No, I reckon unless it reminded him of, I don't know,
- 4:54Speaker 2: his horrible step-mom or an ex-girlfriend.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Or had an ex-girlfriend called Charlie, yeah.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Like guys just don't care.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I would have had to leave him.
- 5:01Speaker 2: That stuff, up to you. No, you would have got
- 5:03Speaker 2: your way. You would have got your way.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I would have.
