- 1:55Speaker 1: people think podcasts about work are boring, and sure they
- 1:59Speaker 1: definitely can can be, But understanding of professionals routine shows
- 2:03Speaker 1: us how they achieve their success little by little, day
- 2:06Speaker 1: after day. It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It might seem boring to safe plan and make calculated
- 2:13Speaker 1: decisions with your bank, but keeping your money boring is
- 2:16Speaker 1: what helps you live or more happily fulfilled life. P
- 2:19Speaker 1: and C Bank brilliantly boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly
- 2:24Speaker 1: boring since eighteen sixty five is a service mark of
- 2:27Speaker 1: the PNC Financial Service Group, Inc. P and C Bank
- 2:30Speaker 1: National Association member FDIC.
- 2:34Speaker 3: All right, so let's talk about Intel U. Intel stock
- 2:40Speaker 3: ones up after Nvidia announced the five billion dollar investment
- 2:46Speaker 3: and a struggling chip maker. So is this the lifeline
- 2:51Speaker 3: that Intel needed or is it just a flash in
- 2:54Speaker 3: the pan moment.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Woo doo, all your crew, who do you do? I
- 3:04Speaker 4: know for some reason people want Intel to thrive, but
- 3:09Speaker 4: it is an inferior ship maker if you look at
- 3:13Speaker 4: the class of chip makers, and Video's business is to
- 3:16Speaker 4: make sure that they are operating at the highest level.
- 3:20Speaker 4: And one way to do that is to build remote
- 3:22Speaker 4: and we saw with Elon going to tell Trump, I
- 3:26Speaker 4: miss you in that suite. It's better to have a
- 3:28Speaker 4: great connection with the president than not. So the investment
- 3:32Speaker 4: into Intel is a hedge to make sure that Nvidia
- 3:36Speaker 4: stays in the lead. Also, a term that many people
- 3:40Speaker 4: need to learn mean reversion. So it got up to
- 3:43Speaker 4: thirty two dollars and thirty nine cent. It is curly
- 3:46Speaker 4: at twenty eight dollars and seventy six cent. I think
- 3:48Speaker 4: it would drop back to twenty four within the next
- 3:51Speaker 4: month and a half. Does it breed some life into it, Yes,
- 3:57Speaker 4: but only because of the United States government has an investment
- 4:00Speaker 4: in Intel were wise enough to invest into an American investment,
- 4:05Speaker 4: while they for the moment have lost the investment into China.
- 4:10Speaker 2: So this was a hedge.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Is Intel better than Video, No better than AMD, no
- 4:14Speaker 4: better than other chip makers in their class.
- 4:17Speaker 3: No.
- 4:17Speaker 4: So I know some of you think that I have
- 4:19Speaker 4: a personal vendetta against Intel. I don't. I think they
- 4:23Speaker 4: just have lost their way, and even though in Video
- 4:26Speaker 4: is investment into them, it does not make them a
- 4:28Speaker 4: world class company.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I agree with you.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I'm going to take your quote and I'm going to
- 4:35Speaker 1: say this that everybody in your space is your competition.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yep. And I'm going to take a little different approach
- 4:43Speaker 2: because I do agree with you.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I think it's both a hedge and I think it's
- 4:45Speaker 1: both a way to keep give them a lifeline. We've
- 4:48Speaker 1: seen this now three times over the past two years,
- 4:50Speaker 1: with Intel getting lifelines, first with the Infrastructure bill and
- 4:55Speaker 1: then being the largest application for.
- 4:57Speaker 2: That infrastructure bill.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Then we saw the government saying that they're going to
- 5:00Speaker 1: take ten percent of that company, and now we've seen.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Right and that exact.
- 5:08Speaker 1: So this is three lifelines that has been given. This
- 5:12Speaker 1: is bigger than an Intel situation. When we talked about
- 5:15Speaker 1: Intel and who their direct competitors were, it wasn't a
- 5:18Speaker 1: GPU market we were talking about. It was a CPU market,
- 5:21Speaker 1: and we told about AMD being the new leader inside
- 5:24Speaker 1: the CPU market, And so does that hurt their business? Well,
- 5:29Speaker 1: if in Video is helping it from an infrastructure standpoint,
- 5:32Speaker 1: yeah it could.
- 5:32Speaker 2: It could hurt AMD slightly.
- 5:35Speaker 1: But what it does say is like that second place
- 5:37Speaker 1: spot in GPUs that was also a MD right, and
- 5:40Speaker 1: so if I want you to focus on something another
- 5:43Speaker 1: core piece of business, I'm gonna help with your competitor
- 5:45Speaker 1: to make sure that you stay in that spot and
- 5:47Speaker 1: you never crash the market ship that we have, which
- 5:51Speaker 1: is now up to ninety percent, I believe.
- 5:53Speaker 2: And so I think it's a it's one of those things.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Let me hurt my competitors in terms of A and
- 5:57Speaker 1: D when I'm talking about in video family time.
- 6:00Speaker 2: So it's really interesting. I think the part and.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I got a lot of text messages Troyes are trying
- 6:04Speaker 1: to invest in Intel. Troyes and time to invest Intel.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I know you guys saying it's dead, it's on a lifeline.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I'm not invested in Intel. The major thing that I
- 6:11Speaker 1: said about Intel, and I'll repeat it, and I still
- 6:14Speaker 1: didn't hear an answer, even with the five billion dollar allocation,
- 6:17Speaker 1: is who is going to solve the manufacturing gap that
- 6:20Speaker 1: Intel has?
- 6:23Speaker 5: No one right If all these other semi conductors are
- 6:30Speaker 5: downsizing to seven animeter, five animeter, three animeter and.
- 6:35Speaker 1: You're still at ten, who is helping that manufacturing gap
- 6:39Speaker 1: and how fast can they make that happen.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I didn't hear one thing about that.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Perhaps that's what Nvidio has now come on board for,
- 6:47Speaker 1: but that is going to take some time, especially with
- 6:50Speaker 1: a company like this, And as you're trying to get better,
- 6:53Speaker 1: companies are already here and they're better, and they're going
- 6:56Speaker 1: to get better. So it's a tough proposition. I'm not
- 7:00Speaker 1: I'm not sold on Intel. I won't be sold on Intel.
- 7:02Speaker 1: There's too many opportunities, too many companies that are ahead
- 7:06Speaker 1: of it right now and that are going to thrive
- 7:08Speaker 1: for me to say let me move money here and
- 7:11Speaker 1: allocation here and hopes that it catches up.
- 7:14Speaker 4: TSM is better, AMD is better, and video is better. Also,
- 7:18Speaker 4: we told you Total is better, all common is better,
- 7:23Speaker 4: Meta is better. It's just a it's thirty or forty
- 7:27Speaker 4: companies that are better than Intel. I also told you
- 7:29Speaker 4: a few months ago that they were going to invest
- 7:31Speaker 4: into Intel as a hedge. And if you look from
- 7:34Speaker 4: an operational standpoint, like from a brand strategy standpoint, not
- 7:37Speaker 4: only do they have the best product, but one way
- 7:39Speaker 4: to eliminate competition is to also invest into you in
- 7:43Speaker 4: case you do well. Microsoft did. This is what Apple
- 7:46Speaker 4: when Apple was on their deathbed as well. The difference
- 7:49Speaker 4: is Jensen isn't going to take his eye off the
- 7:52Speaker 4: ball and isn't going to give up a lead the
- 7:55Speaker 4: way Balmber did when he took the rains over a Microsoft.
- 8:01Speaker 4: And the other issue you're going on to workout for
- 8:03Speaker 4: you lose COI for the record, so I know everyone
- 8:08Speaker 4: wants like yo, Intel has a chance. Intel is PS
- 8:12Speaker 4: four When we're going into PS six generational type run,
- 8:17Speaker 4: they won't be able to catch up really quick. For
- 8:21Speaker 4: everyone out there who has a computer, do you have
- 8:23Speaker 4: an Intel anything in your computer right now?
- 8:27Speaker 2: Right?
- 8:28Speaker 1: And there isn't a business switch yet right like we
- 8:32Speaker 1: literally watch Oracle change their business structure right, Like, we're
- 8:36Speaker 1: watching Dell fundamentally change their bits.
- 8:39Speaker 2: The structure is better.
- 8:42Speaker 4: So you can name a bunch of companies who are
- 8:45Speaker 4: just outperforming at scale and don't think that in video
- 8:51Speaker 4: with investment because the bad part about our competitor investments
- 8:55Speaker 4: and business, they get to see some of the operational
- 8:57Speaker 4: systems that you have in placed. Don't think that they're
- 9:00Speaker 4: not coming for the CPU market. It's like you want
- 9:04Speaker 4: to put the pillo over your face when you're on
- 9:05Speaker 4: life support. Give it to years and Video is going
- 9:08Speaker 4: to get that CPU market as well.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah, player sign and we saw that when they had
- 9:16Speaker 1: their announcement. I think it might have been right after
- 9:18Speaker 1: GtC when they had those core CPU processors. We're like, damn,
- 9:23Speaker 1: they're back in this space again. Like there's really no
- 9:26Speaker 1: letup from them. So yeah, this is one of those
- 9:29Speaker 1: situations where it's like, all right, I see the competition.
- 9:31Speaker 1: We're already leading here. We watched them take their lead.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Let's go get some market shit over there too.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Ernest, what's up? Look?
