- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: Is Airbnb dead and why do you love the business model so much?

- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: So text my book to six, four, six, six, eight, seven, four, one, five, two.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: I, let's go back to the video.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so welcome to another awesome episode of Inside The Vault with Ash Cash.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: The greatest money mindset show on the planet.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: Now today we're talking about a business model that has quietly created millions of dollars for everyday entrepreneurs, but most people still don't understand how it actually works.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: Our guest today is a seven-figure entrepreneur, real estate investor and Airbnb strategist.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: who has spent over a decade building businesses across credit, business funding and short-term rentals.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: He is a Miami native with Haitian roots who built a profitable portfolio using creative real estate strategies and now teaches thousands of entrepreneur how to leverage credit, funding, and Airbnb to create real income and generational wealth.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's also the founder of teen legacy, a community helping people transition from hustling
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: ownership, but the interesting part is this.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: Before the success, before the systems, before the seven figures, there was a chapter where everything almost fell apart due to partnership, gone, wrong.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: So today we're breaking down the Airbnb business model that most people misunderstand how to use credit funding to start real estate without huge capital.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: and the opportunities coming with the 2026 World Cup and the systems behind building a 7th-figure income stream because if you understand leverage, you might realize wealth is a lot closer than you think.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: Ladies and gentlemen, my brother, you jean, fanfare.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: So first of all, you've been in a platform before.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: And you talked about Airbnb, you talked about, I mean, since then, like you've perfected your system, it's gotten better, a lot of, and I don't mean no shade, no disrespect to nobody.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: But a lot of the people that were, talk about Airbnb's are no longer here, right?
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: So my first question for you, and you still have created a seven figure business, just still making money.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: So it's Airbnb day.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: Man, great question.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of people right now saying Arabic is dead, the answer to that is no.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's the dead strategies people have been using since 2020, COVID time and guess what?
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: Those are the one to be people that I want to get started in Arabic and be.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: Now we're still doing it five plus years, but it's all about having to write systems and strategies on how to scale your Arabic and be business.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: What is it about this business model,
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: that you like so much, right?
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: So you've helped a lot of people, you know, become successful.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm somebody, it's that you've made seven figures, you know, you built a seven figure business.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm somebody who loves business models, right?
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: Because
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: I look at a business model and I'm like, does this make sense to the how does this work?
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: What is it about the Airbnb business model that makes it lucrative with major stick with it?
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, man.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: So what I would say was just number one the numbers right away.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: You can make money because you know when Myanmar I've got started in real estate.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: We got started with having a multi-family, and the cash flow was just a little bit only $300 in profit a month.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: Right, but when we came across Airbnb, literally you could three x that.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: You could make anywhere between a thousand and a $3,000 profit a month on one unit.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: But what I like about Airbnb is that it make real estate sexy.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: Right, because think about a lot of people, like you and me, sometimes they don't find real estate attractive business to do because it's slow money.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: Right, but if you really understand real estate, real estate is one of the best ways to create wealth.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: So with Airbnb you can provide experience to your guests making more attractive of how fun with this So I like it because it's not just traditional real estate.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: You guys should provide experience and make great cash flow talk a little bit about
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: funding, right?
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think a lot of times, you know, most people fail at business because they don't have access to capital or you don't have money, you know, you're a seven-figure entrepreneur, you built income through credit, through business funding, and Airbnb for someone who's hearing your name for the first time.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, what is like, how are you using credit?
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: How are you using funding?
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: How are you using Airbnb?
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: Like, how have they all connect in order for you to, you know, build a business like this?
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: So, great question.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: So, what I would say of funding, what are funding?
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: I want to be here right now, right?
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: As a successful entrepreneur without leveraging credit and without using other people's money, using the bank money.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: But it's always too sourced to everything.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: You know, having access to credit could be a bad thing, right?
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: Because sometimes it comes with no instructions.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: So what I was saying is you want to have the discipline.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, and I say this all the time to my mentees and students to say anyone, like, there's no reason why you cannot fund your dreams here in America, because banks are giving away money, right?
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you gotta figure out what to do with it and how to probably structure yourself to qualify for it.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: So, with having a 700 plus credit score in LLC,
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: And what we was able to do is leverage that capital to actually invest into an Airbnb where now is cash from we pay back the bank and we keep the difference.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: And you could do that in any business model that you want to do.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: Get your credit in order, have a strategy, and invest.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: Because a lot of the time when people get access to credit, that's be real.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: Because man, I got $50,000 in credit.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: Very first thing you think about, you know what I want to go to the finance.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: Go to Louis Gucci.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a cashman to fly to Dubai.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: Um, this is what they're thinking about, but you got to know what, let me invest the credit pay back the bank and live off the drip.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: When I mean by live off the drip is live off the profit that you're making off the other people money off the banks money and that's how you do it the right way.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: Well, most of you here like Airbnb, they just think about like renting.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, like you really charged into a serious, you know, business, what do most people misunderstand about about the business that you, that you figured up?
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, right now is a big misconception that you can't do it.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: Is illegal to do Airbnb.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: and it's not illegal.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's been around short-term rental, Airbnb just a marketing platform, right?
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of think about social media.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: You got Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, those are social media outlets.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: Same thing with Airbnb as a short-term rental marketing website.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: You got Airbnb verbal, booking.com.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of people say, you know what, Airbnb is illegal to do it, and it's not.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: You got to understand his regulation.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: And one thing I would say is think about this, Airbnb's value at $70 billion.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: right now to this day today.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think the government is going to want that business shut down?
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, because that's what the government is going to tax that money.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: So once I understood that, I understand this, the business model is going to last a long time.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: And the other thing too, which, you know, I probably talk about later on, is you have to really think long-term.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of time, new entrepreneurs, when they get started into a business, they're think, microwave success.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: They think about, you know, I got my LLC.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be rich overnight.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: You get rich overnights.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: You got to play a long-term game.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: So one of the things that we realize is that you can really create generation and wealth leveraging Airbnb.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: When we've been teaching our students now, was how to get an Airbnb and purchase it from the owner.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: We had a couple of mentees that actually buying properties aboard it.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: Now, that's going to pay down a property faster and pull instead of doing a 30-year mortgage, you get paid on a property within 5-10 years.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: Well, give me that sign, because that's new source.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's new source, that's, you, you chase a recipe a little bit.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: So, so, so think about it, you know, traditional real estate, you know, if you buy a property, get a mortgage on it, yeah, single family home, you're, if you're doing a long-term rental, your traditional profit is anywhere between 300 to $5,000, and profit statistically on that single family.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: But when you're doing Airbnb, your cash flow is more, certificate, you go bring in a 30 to a 50% return.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: So let's say your mortgage is $3,000, but you're bringing in $10,000 revenue because you're doing air at B and B in the house.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's the extra $7,000 you have.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: You could deploy it to the straight to the principal.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: So if you got 10k, $3,000 toward the mortgage, $7,000 left, you could pay more towards the principal and still keep some more in your pocket.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: Now you paying down at mortgage faster, where now you could own that property free and clear.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: So this is why a lot of new investors are leveraging the Airbnb models that way they could go ahead and own that private quicker and still make great cash for at the same time.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's funny because they were ever reminds me of, um, I think it's, I think it's zip cars, right?
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, I think it's, it reminds me of zip cars where like, let's just say somebody normally would have a car and they would be paying a certain amount for the car and they use it
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: the amount of money, like they're not making the money off the car.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: But if they, like, let's say, like, at least it'll lend it to a zip car.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: Now, you know, when people, or even Toro, those type of things, like when people are, like when it's dormant, nobody's using it, they'd be there to use it, you know, you know, rent it out.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: When I think about that business model, that business model, where it's the same sort of service, but by,
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: having short-term people churn over and over the lifetime of it, you get more of it and so I like that business model.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: What does it successful?
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, you're Airbnb company, you mean?
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: And so,
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know, what does a successful Airbnb, you know, company or property?
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: What does the property look like financially?
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: What kind of numbers can a well-run unit produce?
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, great question.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: So what we look at a lot of times when people thinking about getting started in Airbnb,
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: or maybe they are already doing it already.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: You're not looking at the right numbers.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: You want to think as investors.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_01]: So you want to look at the potential revenue that you can earn.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: And what we do in traditional real estate rules, or that maybe watching this, they use a system called the MLS, and it will run cops on a single family home on how much they can sell that house for a client.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: And we do the same thing with Airbnb as that we use a system called B&B Calc, right?
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: What that does is short for Airbnb calculator.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: You could get a subscription month and you could research that.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: And now we plug in the address and what that website would do is let us know what's a potential revenue with her own nonprofit per year.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: What's the potential profit?
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: What is the occupancy rate per month?
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: And what is the average daily rate with good charge per night?
- 12:22[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: So what we look at is we like property is going to generate us 50% in occupancy more a month, meaning that it's going to be occupied 50% a more a month.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: And we want to be at $50,000 in revenue more.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: We don't want to be anything less than $50,000 in revenue for particular property.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: So for example, one of our properties that we found for one of our students is doing 100,000 revenue a year.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: I could be see rate of 70% I could be see rate and average daily rate they could charge per night is about $500 a night.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: So think about if you got someone that's paying $500 per night and you're at 30 days, that's almost $15,000.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: You're bringing in a month because you're not charging once a month, you're charging night you when it comes to Airbnb.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: I go to hotel.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: you know, one of the things that I want to unpack, which I think is like so genius, which is again, I'd now see why you love this business model, right?
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: Because at the end of the day when you start thinking about the potential, right?
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like how you could actually, you know, make make money with Airbnb's.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's it's
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost like like a like a no-brainer, but the one thing that I also notice is and makes sense why you stuck out or you stuck with it so long is that it's not really a guessing game.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, right?
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: Because B and B count like and look we need some sponsorship.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: But like that program
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: it takes the guesswork out of it.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: And so, and so, how like, you know, I'll use myself as an example, when I, you know, during like just out of COVID, I, you know, it was like, you know, the perpetrator's only one I want to say.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I was, I was interviewing people and it was Maddie J. I interviewed Maddie J.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_00]: And he was talking about Toro and talking about car rental business.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, yo, I think I could do that.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's easy.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: It looked just like easy.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: And so I wound up buying like five cars and I was like, I am about to get into the Airbnb business.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, uh, you know, the, the Toro business.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: And it was bad.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about like,
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like I was at the airport all the time everybody would drop off nobody was picking up from my house I was like rotating car.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: It was bad.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, yo, this is not worth the energy It's not worth it, but I had to And so now I had to sell the cars kind of what I didn't need the cars anymore.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I sold them at a loss And so now I'm in a business that I don't you like like I took a loss because I guess
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: Correct, correct.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see this some might, but but and what you just explained, it almost feels like there isn't guess work in what you're doing, like there is an actual formula, talk a little bit about like your your programming and and just success and and how other people will be were able to, you know, you know, get to the next level by following the blueprint.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, 1,000%, and always say this, that someone always has to be the guinea pig.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: Right, meaning that they got to be the first one to go out there and try to make it happen.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of like, you know, maybe for you as well, too, you probably wouldn't success for people in your family.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: The, you know, great generation of curses as well.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_01]: So it's always that one person.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: So same thing for me, all of that first person stuff.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_01]: But you know what, let me go ahead and tap into Airbnb.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_01]: But what I did was I learned a lot of information about it, so I went through trial and error, making a lot of mistakes that cost me a lot of money, and a lot of time and headaches.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot of thousands of dollars making a wrong decision, so we learn from that mistake.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: And one thing that we always say is that you have to fill your way to the top.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: and failure way to success.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: You got to make some failures.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: So don't be afraid to fail.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're watching this and you want to start a business and you want to start something to start, don't be afraid to fail.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: So we made a lot of failures and we learned from it.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: And what we have now is this system, just like you mentioned.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: So we got a formula that we use in the system that we stick to.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: and system stand for a savior sub-time in ingin money.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: So all we do is leverage that same system rinse and repeat.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: So we have a system of how we find properties.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's already Arab being be approved.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to generate.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: We'd like to be around 80k in 100k in revenue.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: That would teach our students to go out there and acquire.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_01]: And then also that's going to generate you some good cash flow.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: And then we have a cleaning system that we use as well too.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: So we hire a cleaner.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: So we use a website called Eternal.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: that will find cleaners nationwide for you.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: So we don't got to be the ones cleaning our properties.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: Right, for example, I had a student, she was a lawyer, but she did Airbnb without knowing how to do it the right way.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: She was cleaning her home properties.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, yo, you tripping.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: Right, like because you wasting time, like why not hire somebody else.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_01]: Let them go and clean the property.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: You paid them, you saved your time.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: So we got a cleaning system and then also we have a automation system.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: So we use a channel manager called host away and we'll link all of our properties and we create automation So that was not us messaging every guest.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we don't have to be the ones messaging the cleaners our system once the guest checks out was sent a message to the cleaner to let the know go clean that property
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then another thing that we implement in our business is that we leverage a VAT team.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: So what we do is have virtual assistants that communicate with the guest throughout the night.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: So while we're sleeping, our business is to operate and that's what we want.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the same thing that we teach our students because the name in the game, like we've been taught obviously going to school for the college to make money on your feet.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you got to make money, how to make money and your sleep.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: And finding a business out do so.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: So we create those systems so that we can generate the income.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: But we teach our students to do the same thing.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love that.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: One thing you teach, and we kind of talk about this, but one thing you teach is that it's using credit and business funding to get started.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: How does someone leverage credit into the Airbnb business or even real estate?
- 18:03[SPEAKER_01]: Great question, great question.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, you can leverage multiple ways.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_01]: So, to get your first property, you know, one thing I want to, you know, tell everyone, if you're thinking about getting started in Airbnb, here's
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: five quick ways you could go ahead and get started in your first unit number one is set up at LOC number two having you credit an order you want to have a 700 above and then you can access 50k in business funding by some things will get you 0% interest credit card you have the j's business for long time
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: No, you could be in business for literally one week.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: War.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: You got a student.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: They had a LLC on the open one week.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: They had the credit score.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: We got them approved for $50,000 from Chase.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: There was an interest for 12 months, right?
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: So now you take that money.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: You invest into your first Airbnb.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_01]: So those two ways you get your first Airbnb number one.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: You could do rental arbitrage.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: We could rent the property from our owner with permission.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: Rinse it out on the LLC name use that part of your Airbnb the second way is purchase the property Right, so either route that you want to go the other stuff that you will take is get a furniture So you can leverage the business credit the bottom furniture.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: So you're now using on your money Right, all you're doing is using information and strategy to make the money now.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to be able to buy the furniture
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: If you're going to do rental arbitrage, typically just pay first in last month rent so if they won $3,000 a month for a particular house or three bedroom house that says in, you know, Tampa, Florida, you just pay first in last month, which is $6,000, you take that money off the credit card, you use that to give that to the landlord.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: Same thing, go get furniture, furniture property, either that take professional photos, then list the property.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like, literally, within, I would say within about 24 or 48 hours, you probably going to have people reaching out to you to book that property off the Airbnb platform.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, man, like why don't you think it's because people lack this not like why aren't there a lot of people adapting this model like why aren't there especially at all community why aren't they they
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: people not leveraging is because like I'm not just don't know about it, right?
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: And the Bible says my people, you know, the air is because of lack of knowledge, they don't know about it, right?
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: You don't know what you don't know.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: The second thing I would say is fear.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: People here are all the bad stories that's out there.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: The regulations that's coming out, they let fear set in and stop them from, you know, getting started in the game.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: And then the last thing I'm going to say is that I'm going to be real, most people are lazy.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: Um, they don't want to go out there and just do the work.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and I tell people this is like, once you do the work one time, you set it up, now you create and send my passive income stream.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: But a lot of times, let's be real.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: Most people are afraid to do the work.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: They want something easy.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I will tell people this.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: Don't don't be afraid to do the work.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: Don't look for the easy route.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: Do the hard work in the beginning.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll say those three things like a knowledge, fear, and afraid of doing the work.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, talk a little bit about automations, right?
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I feel like in this business, there's like automations, there's systems, there's things that can help you.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_00]: How has automations help you in your business?
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: And, I would say it may help me with everything because right now we're living day and age with AI.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: you know, so a lot of software companies have AI to create a lot of automation.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: So we have a channel manager that will handle all the automating messaging that will send out to a guest once they book, that will send the messages to the cleaners, let them know we got a clean.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_01]: And then also we could leverage a dynamic pricing tool.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: What a dynamic price in two does is it give you your rate.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: You should be charging per night.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: So for example, let's say we're here in Atlanta, right?
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: So let's say right now of Beyoncé would come here for a concert.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: This is going up price is going up price is not today's price.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so the B.I.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: have crew come through the hotels like hold up.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: Are you raising this $300 a night tax?
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: $500 a night tax.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_01]: So as the same with Airbnb, you could have a dynamic pricing tool.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: We use price labs, and with that tool, does leverage AI in the tech, the patterns, how many people are searching for a particular area, and it would detect events that's going on, to give you your daily rate of charge, to make sure you competitive.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: You'll leave on Monday on the table, right?
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: So one of the things right now with the World Cup, coming here in the USA, with that dynamic pricing tool, and let us know how much you recharging per night.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_01]: For example, one of our students, he has a unit in Dallas, Texas, where the workup will be going, June and July, for that month, right now, the average rate today is about $300 a night.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_01]: But for that month in June, he's at $700 to $1,000 a night.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: It is a match, and that's why he's working for $30,000 at $1,000 a rate, hypothetically, so I'm looking for a month, that's $30,000.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: But if he didn't have the AI tool, check that and change the prices for him,
- 22:41[SPEAKER_01]: he would miss out on that money.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: So that AI tool changed the price for you by itself.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's called price laughs, dynamic pricing tool, and then, um, releverging, uh, just, uh, the, uh, Airbnb within itself, because Airbnb has some automation, but a lot of AI right now is AI.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: Any business that you'll tell people this, name it a game is work smarter.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: Not harder.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: Reliving day and age technology, leverage it.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: you know, leverage it.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: So we're leveraging AI like crazy, and I love that.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you share something with me new you for a very long time.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: You share something with me that that, you know, I want to share with the audience.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think a lot of people see, you know, see success.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: But they don't see the journey that we had that we go through.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: You were, you know, talking about the partnership.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: You were in a partnership, a business partnership, that I mean, almost cost you your life, yeah, literally and figuratively.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: They talk about that moment for me.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, so, you know, I've been honest with you about going on 15 years now.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: So actually, my first business, I was actually in a car business, right?
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's like, I love, I hate the car business now, right?
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: My very first business, I had a car dealership at age 22.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: I did that for about five, six years.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: And then since we saw cars, my cousin reached out to me.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_01]: One of my, you know, some of me shot teams like, hey, I think you should start this business.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: because now we'll be able to help people get into cars.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: So he couldn't start the business.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: So I end up opening the business up and everything like that was the owner of the business at the LLC.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: And long story short, it was a tax business, right?
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: Tax business.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_01]: We end up shutting the business down.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't like the business because I'm more of, I like to be out in the field.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: I want to be behind the desk.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I love Airbnb.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: And long story short, we shut it down two months later.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: I got Thursdays knocking on my door.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_00]: Or...
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, what's going on to the kind of rich in hell?
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: Let the f***er.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 24:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like, whoa, what is this?
- 24:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_01]: Never gotten trouble in my life.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I went to college, graduated two bachelor degrees, did everything the right way, and it caught me by surprise.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and that happened in 2016.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, I had to hire attorneys, it cleaned me out right 2016 to I said clean me out I had spent over a hundred thousand dollars in attorneys.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: So my car business I ended up letting it go so the business and I'm just kind of focused on that and then we built back up right we built back up and you know we built multiple seven figure business the one short tournament from Airbnb.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: administration change.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_01]: I might not get into politics, but administration change in the U.S. And it opened back up the case.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: The new attorney general opened back up the case.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: And from there, you know, I had a higher attorney go to court.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, because I was the owner, I go got hit with probation.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_01]: I also had a payback of $100,000 in
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: And because of that, I got hate with the felony.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: And so first time getting in trouble, yeah, you get into a partnership and like what was done wrong, like so because you owned it,
- 25:48[SPEAKER_00]: And somebody else was doing something wrong, you were liable for correct correct correct.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're watching this number one thing gets number one is like pants and just everything.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and you know, but but this situation, it was crazy.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but we was able to overcome it.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: That was the one thing and I look at it and the crazy thing was it was so much grace going through the social situation and I feel like God was over the situation because number one, the other turning out charge because he was so pissed.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't even charge me.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_01]: Usually he charged $50,000.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: He said because, you know, you went to college and everything in the right way.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm not even going to charge you to represent you.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like he was pissed.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and you know, we end up in probation and say, man, that judged us on that case.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: never gave anyone probation.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone, that guy in the front of her seen Joe times.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: And he was shocked as well, too.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: But sometimes God puts you in certain situations, so he can get the glory and was able to overcome that and still be successful.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_01]: Do that as well too, so it was tough, tough.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, I say that to say this, if you're watching this and you're going through something, you have a version that you went through, your current situation, understand, don't let your current situation be your final destination because you are able to overcome
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: it's still when it comes out on top.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm glad that you were vulnerable enough to share that story because I know there's a lot of time sharing it.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I know that there's a lot of people who, um, um, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh uh, uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: are afraid to share their stories because of, you know, backlash or what people might think about them or whatever the case may be.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_00]: But like literally what you just did right now is that you free yourself, but you also free somebody else, right?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody else watching, who thought because they have a felony or because they had some type of issue because, you know, we don't feel in the blank that they can't dot, dot, dot.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: But you are true and living, right?
- 27:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like you are, you are
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: You know, God's gonna make a way.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_00]: God's gonna make a way.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: One thousand percent, and a lot of times, when we go through certain situations, we feel like there's any other world.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: And for me, I think God was learning less than for me.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, going through that situation, and it was very tough, being on probation for a year and never getting in trouble.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like I had a good permission to leave the state, permission to travel, and it was tough, but
- 28:11[SPEAKER_01]: the come out and still be here today, number one, to make it cherish your time that you have.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: You know, a lot of times we don't, our freedom, right?
- 28:20[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe cherish my freedom.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: And also, for me, to be a testimony for other people, that you can still win.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_01]: Cause sometimes, you know, I have some students that like, man, like, I see you went through certain situations that you have, you got a felony, but I still want to rock with you and learn from you because I have a one that you genuine.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: And you're true for you having integrity and on that moves me, you know, and that tells me like number one like it's not just for me Yeah, it's for other people.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know when they tell me that look I see you had a situation But I still want to learn from you and pay to learn from you because I trust you.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you move with integrity and I know you'll be able to get into where I'm trying to go so that right there motivates me They go 10 times harder to make sure anyone has attached to me become successful and give them 100% of me
- 29:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and, and again, you know, I think I think just the testament of not only did you, you know, you know, get, get to it.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: Get busy.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: You built that, that, that, that brand, right?
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: You built that seven figure brand, a figure brand.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: what what would you say right so right now somebody's watching who is you know you know trying to figure things out right they're trying to get to the next level they're trying to have the resilience that you have but they they just feel stuck
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: right what what do you what are you telling them how we you're what's what's their first step if they want if they're feeling stuck and they want to get into this business they're like you know what you gene I I I learnt from this I connect with you you know you never gave up and but I'm feeling down and out I'm feeling stuck feeling the blank what are you telling them after that how they how they
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, number one, number one thing I'll say is, figure actual why, right, your reason why.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know, a lot of times, social media, you know, will glorify man, becomes successful, it's easy, and that's not.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: But figure actual why, what is your reason why you want to become entrepreneur?
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: You want to get out just certain situation.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_01]: and use that to fuel you, you know, because understand, like you're going to have a Mercedes, but certain things that you, you know, I meant so I was told that this that sometimes you have to grow through what you go through, so you don't go through certain situations, but you have to go through that process, you know, but the keep going.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care what it is that you have going on your life, the only way you lose if you quit.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're watching this, start.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: Don't matter where you are right now.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: You have everything you need in your life right now to win, just start.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you don't have to be great to get started, but you do have to get started to be great.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: But the other thing is staying consistent, right?
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know, when the fire is at your feet and you feel like doing an entire, feel like quitting, stay consistent, right?
- 30:56[SPEAKER_01]: Don't give up that stay consistent, because that's what championship, that's what champions are born.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, what's the, what's the future like is, is rental arbitrage, is it being be, is this a long-term place, is this business going to be around, or is it a fat, is it just coming and going?
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: No, this, this Airbnb is here to stay, um, it's going to, it, it been around for decades since 2004 to industry been around for, for years.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: But Arab being being here to stay and they're just getting started, you know, with the experiences, everything at the providing as well, too.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: If you're watching as I tell people with this right here, it's like, with Arab being be at a time that we didn't kind of think about Bitcoin, kind of think about Facebook when Facebook got started.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: You got a chance to listen to Facebook when you first open up, ready out today.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's the same thing with Arab being the right now because they have the world cup that's coming here.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: They provide experiences.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: I learned this because we had a private session here reached out to me.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: Because I perform as an Airbnb to platform that we had a private session with the Airbnb reps from corporate Wow, down in Florida two months ago, and I didn't know that it had a luxury line of Airbnb Other side so it's telling us everything about Airbnb their vision where they're going to the next couple months So if you're watching this now's a time to get locked in with it, you know, so if you're thinking about getting started in an Airbnb game
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_00]: And so if someone who wants to position themselves early, what would you say them, right?
- 32:21[SPEAKER_00]: If that was the time, what is should they start doing the prepare for this opportunity?
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: So what you start doing is looking at the the best markets.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: right now.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: So I do some market research now.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_00]: And I have to cut you up because that was actually you reminded me You said 2026 were a cup like what like it's coming as a great opportunity.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: Also talk a little bit about Like what areas is it is it gonna be up?
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, great question.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: So right now, I was looking at the market.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: So with the World Cup, they're going to be in Miami, Florida.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to be in Dallas, Texas.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_01]: They're also going to be in New York, California.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: So you won't be looking at those airs if you're nearby those airs as well.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_01]: And what air it be means doing because they know it's going to be so big.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: They're paying people to become hosts.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: So if you start your air being being one of those cities and you host someone for the World Cup, they're going to pay you extra $750.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_01]: Some cities I think I'm going to get you extra $1,000 just to host for the for the World Cup.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: So not only is it going to get paid per night at a premium rate, but I'm going to pay you at extra bonus on top.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_01]: Why would a company dish out almost $4 million for plus $4 plus $5 million in bonuses?
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: Because they understand the magnitude of it.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: was going on.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: So those are going to be those cities that's there.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: But right now what you should be doing is looking at the market, seeing what's the best markets are.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: So the top five markets is going to be Nashville, Miami, Florida, Orlando, Florida.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, got a line of Georgia which is a great market and then also dial the Texas is a great market as well too.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_01]: If you guys think about starting an Airbnb but all over the US, you're just going to do market research analysis, use air DNA.co and also be in becaught the research to markets.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_00]: And so, you know, just like I talked earlier, you know what I'm saying, I started this choral business, made a lot of mistakes.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: What would you say is the biggest mistakes like beginners make, giving us this business?
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you know, not doing, not doing the research and do diligence.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: You know, just like you mentioned, it's like, so same thing when come to Airbnb, just choosing any house or do Airbnb, for example, we had,
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: a student prior to getting started with us.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: He got a Airbnb and it was in a hood.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_01]: Right, he just got it because the owner said you can do Airbnb, but he got horrible reviews every time.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: I guess we'll book because the whole one of this thing is in a hood.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: This is going on.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_01]: It was like a ISO had a broken down train next to the house and like, but he didn't do no due diligence.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he got the Airbnb.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_01]: So number one, do market research.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_01]: I actually saw this question.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_01]: Would you stay in that Airbnb?
- 34:49[SPEAKER_01]: There's no you shouldn't be getting an Airbnb there.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the number one mistake I see a lot of people do is just get anything to start Airbnb with.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you believe that real estate is still one of the best well-being it goes in today's economy?
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what you want to do, the reason why I think that real estate is one of the best ways to create wealth is that you're going to look at what the top 1% are doing, right?
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: They are successful in the current business industries.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: Look at one Buffet Jeff Basel's Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: They're billionaires in their industries, but they also tap into real estate because real estate is one of the best way to create generation wealth.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: not just because of the cash flow, but also the tax rate of benefits.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: Because think about it, you know, when you create a lot of income, you've got to pay on the exam some money.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: So one of the best ways to lower your tax liability is to real estate.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why so much wealthy people own real estate.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: So that way they can still have cash flow and still lower their tax liability.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: So one of the best ways to create wealth because think about this, people owes me the place to stay.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: Right, if you travel a very important thing you're doing is looking for a place to stay if you catch a flower.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going here.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: I need an Airbnb or hotel.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: So something that people always going to need is not a one.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a fad.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: Real estate is, you know, going to be here for decades.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: We need a place to live.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_00]: Talk to me about team legacy, right?
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: Because I know you've had mentees.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: They've done very, very well.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you have an event coming up with where people could, could learn from you.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, so team legacy, you know, when I came over with the movement, I didn't want something just to be about money, a lot of times, you know, as people just think about, you know, I want to get rich, I want to make a lot of money, but team legacy is something about been building, not just building generation and wealth, but also passing down principles, right?
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: So we don't just talk about money, we talk about life insurance, we're talking about, you know, we talk about estate planning as well too, and also passing down principles for generations, right?
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: But that comes through knowledge.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what our community is about.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not just
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: also with those principles and also setting yourself up the build generation off the right way.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: And what we actually have going on is that we have a summit that we're going to be doing.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be teaching people the game about credit, how to get started in Airbnb and also how to leverage AI to go out and find you your first Airbnb.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: So that we do eliminate the guesswork, let's work from you, and you still find your profitable Airbnb, and then how to have the right systems to automate the Airbnb business.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to be doing this in three days.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: Teaching people this game is actually going to be and start it here soon.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_00]: Nice, nice, nice, nice.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: And so what are the things that I'm hearing from you right now?
- 37:24[SPEAKER_00]: And what I'm hearing about these business models, even in what I do and everything, I feel like
- 37:29[SPEAKER_00]: There's like two worlds happening all that once, right?
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: You have the world where people are talking about, you know, inflation and talking about gas prices, talking about war, they're talking about how bad things are.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: And you have another world where it's like, this, it couldn't be easier to make a lot of money.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_00]: What is it?
- 37:55[SPEAKER_00]: Is it, is it, is it doom and gloom, is it like all these bad things happening?
- 38:01[SPEAKER_00]: Is that going to really affect you?
- 38:02[SPEAKER_00]: AI, all that stuff or is it really like not despite all this stuff happening?
- 38:09[SPEAKER_00]: This is one of the best times to be alive because you could become rich quickly.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um, I would say, you know, kind of thing about, uh, reflect on 2020 during the pandemic where we had a pandemic, COVID going on.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, a lot of millionaires that was born during that time.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: And the reason why I, for me, the reason why I think that is because distractions, you know, I people were distracted was going on.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_01]: They could take me to the news while people like you and me, like, you know what, I'm a lot can't write now, build my business up and write it up.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: So I think
- 38:39[SPEAKER_01]: Looking at everything, she'd be more of a reason why because you don't want to only depend on your job.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like you're only one depend on one extreme income because one extreme income is too close to nine.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_01]: Two close to zero.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, two close to zero.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: So you guys are thinking, you know what, all just going on.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_01]: I need to find another way to make money.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: And Warren Buffet said this, he said, man, if you don't find a way to make money where you sleep, you can work to date you died.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_01]: So why not set yourself up to have an instrument income, but now's the best time where everyone distracted was going on.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the news, social media, every you locked in on your business, starting the business, you're learning more, you're getting in rooms to business and yourself to win.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: I want to go back to credit and capital for a second because right now I can hear somebody like complaining or somebody saying, well, oh, I don't got credit.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not going to work for me or I don't have no money right.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: Talk to that person who has that 500 credit score.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: right for $450 and they wouldn't get it to Airbnb, they wouldn't get to rent our tries.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: They want to you know, they want to play with the big dogs, right?
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: What is there like step by step, right?
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like what is the like what are they exposed to do for $450?
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: Is it time to just throw your hands up or is is that solution for that?
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I love that.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_01]: You know, one of those things I can remember is if it's a wills away.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_01]: right you got you got a one and so many options a lot of time people look at options and I can remember moments and said this is that is not a matter of people don't have the resources they lack resource for this right so so many ways to get access to the capital so even if you have a four fifth you could restore your credit to credit in position yeah
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: So, very first thing, if you watch it, as you want to build credit, is get your credit report.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_01]: Go to annualcreditport.com, see what's negative that's on your report.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: So, if you have collections, negative items, those could be removed.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_01]: Good to speak, those items, typically you'll take you about 45-90 days.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: Clean those negative items up.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: and then add positive trade lines.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_01]: If you're paying rent, get the rental issue out of to your credit report.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: When in the best ones that I like, it's called a credit rent boost, because it reports to all three credit bureaus of your rental history.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_01]: You could go back far as three years to add those rental histories to your credit report.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: So credit rent rents will boost credit rent boost.com.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_01]: And then the third thing is credit strong.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_01]: We can get trail lines out of to your report.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: And that can help build to be credit score as well too.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: And once you get established credit score, it goes to a bank and acts for secure credit car, put money on it, to go ahead and establish that trust factor that you got positive credit history reporting.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_01]: Once you do that, now I'm going to get you self-sum on secure capital.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_01]: So one thing always say you have to be patient's a strategy.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a matter of that.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_01]: People don't have them.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: money problem.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's a matter of people have a strategy problem, but also be impatient.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_01]: So, if it takes you three months to get your credit right and you can get access up to $100,000, would you do it?
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: Would you wait that three months?
- 41:27[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so get your credit in order, and then from there you can get access to capital.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: But the second thing is, you have some banks that will still give you access to some money, even if you have a 600 credit score.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_01]: Some credit
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: in money with a 600 credit score.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: So you have some banks that will lend to you, right?
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: So you can still get into the game.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the end of the world.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: You just got to start looking for those different options, different banks that will give you money, will less than perfect credit.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_00]: How do I find these banks?
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: Do I Google them?
- 41:58[SPEAKER_00]: What do I search for?
- 41:59[SPEAKER_00]: How do I know this is the right bank to go to?
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so number one, you, you, you want to do some research as well.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_01]: So one of the things is if it's going to be for like a personal loan, you could go to like lendingtree.com, right?
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: One of the reasons why I tell people to do that is because it doesn't give you a hard inquiry.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: I do a soft inquiry.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_01]: Let you know if you qualify for any personal loan.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_01]: right to qualify for.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: The other one, which is a great one that I love now, they're giving out the bag, it's so far.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_01]: So far, it's giving out a lot of money.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: And now tell people that you got to understand how the banking system works.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_01]: The banks make money off of interest.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: So they want to lend out a money?
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_01]: So if you go to his institutions, you have your credit at least structure up decent order right way, you'll get access to some money, but then also if you're looking to go on a business side, I will tell people look for credit cards again, 0% interest you got a Chase bank 0% 12 months, you got two is bank 0% interest for 12 months.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_01]: And then also go to credit unions because they're going to give you high credit limits with a decent interest rate as well too.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_01]: So like Navy federal, there's a lot of different credit unions out there.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_01]: You could go to, you got Ammi credit, you got a line of credit union.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a lot of credit unions who go out there and get access to the money.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then my other favorite one to get access to credit from in Skylah for the credit union.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_01]: You could get up to almost $20,000 on a credit card, $650 credit score.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: So look towards the credit unions.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: Nice, nice, nice.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_00]: What was the, what's the, you know, the founder of Team Legacy?
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: What's the legacy of Eugene?
- 43:27[SPEAKER_01]: The legacy for me, man, what I want to be known for is the impact, right?
- 43:32[SPEAKER_01]: Impact out of love, man.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_01]: I want to impact a million lives.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: You know, because what I think about is think about it like all the money we make, all the stuff that we all we can't take it with us when we die.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's facts.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: We can't take what's when we die.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_01]: So just the memories, the impact that you were able to make, because guess what, when people know, you know what,
- 43:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like people would know you for that.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_01]: So my legacy is man.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_01]: How many lies that I impact?
- 43:54[SPEAKER_01]: You know one thing that stood out to me a lot of time.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_01]: We focus on how can I make quick money?
- 43:58[SPEAKER_01]: How can I make money?
- 43:59[SPEAKER_01]: I meant to told me this service to many leads to greatness the more that you focus on serving people by default You become successful.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: So my focus now serving a lot of people service to many is greatness.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah Service to many leads to grace to greatness.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, focus on serving people.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_01]: So my legacy I wanted to be known for a hundred people.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_01]: I bless it impacted
- 44:19[SPEAKER_01]: Um, as well, and then what I pass down for generations where they could get my picture and put them on plaque Man, and this is great great great great great great great boy He did this and set us up.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and that's what I'm gonna be known for at the end of the day because again Think about it like you know week we could have money.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_01]: We have these great things But man if I could be a blessing to my family to other people.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a win And that's what I want my legacy to be known for.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love that.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: I love that
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: When it's, you know, is this a type of business, right, that can you pass this down to family like, you know, because I know you and your wife work together, see all do a lot of things together.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: Is this one of those businesses that, you know, could potentially be passed down and staying in family for generations?
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: You need an Airbnb business.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, most definitely.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_01]: So this is something you could pass down for generations, because again, you're doing real estate.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_01]: You real estate could be passed out.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_01]: And what I like about this is that it's not a difficult business.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_01]: And you can do it because a lot of times, some kids don't want their parents' business because it's very difficult.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's a headache, right?
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't want no part of that business.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_01]: But when you set it up, you got property management set up.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_01]: All they would be doing is collecting checks.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, definitely.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what I like about about this business and how you do it is because it's one of those things that it's real tangible assets, it's real cash flow.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's real, I mean, it's like you know, whether you don't rent arbitrage with you on the property and not like all that value is not just a dead asset, right?
- 45:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's something that it's kind of working, working with you, working with you.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_00]: As somebody who, you know, didn't grow up with money and you run, you know, you've made multiple seven figures, you run, you run a seven figure business.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_00]: What is the mindset that it takes to be prepared to receive a lot of money, but like become a million here, like what type of mindset do you have to have?
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so what I would say is two things.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_01]: You know, a lot of times people say,
- 46:32[SPEAKER_01]: that wins the game.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll say two things.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: Number one is you've got to have the knowledge.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to have some information.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't learn.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: Then the other thing is you got to be disciplined.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: You got to be disciplined.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of times when people get money.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: I got money.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: But first money you got whatever business you got, whether it's online business, physical bit, whatever it is.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't belong to you.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: As a fact, you got to put it back into the business.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_01]: If I put it back into Mark and whoever that it is, and then you will pay on the sound.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: Well, what percentage would you say you like people should be spending?
- 46:58[SPEAKER_01]: Man, I would say if you could live off spending only maybe 30% Okay, right 30% because you want to put money back into the business Yeah, you're saying let the business grow.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_01]: You got to put some money aside for taxes Yeah, um, as well.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: So that comes with discipline.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah You know, um, the other thing is you got to have a long-term vision That's number one.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: You got to have a vision.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_01]: You know, in the Bible, I think it lays on the principle of the bill Well, man without vision will perish.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: You got to have a vision.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: Know what?
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: This is where I want to be
- 47:25[SPEAKER_01]: because that's going to keep you going at the end of the day.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_01]: So you got to envision yourself, you know what, whether you want to be a millionaire.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, I'm already millionaire already.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: The money is just not my bank account.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, right.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_01]: So you got to have a vision to where you want to go.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_01]: So it's kind of like this where, you know, if I'm driving somewhere, I got to put the address in in GPS, it's going to lead me to where I want to go.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: But I already had to make a decision that I want to go to this particular location.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_01]: Right, so that's what people need to do is make a decision where you want to go.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: Decide, stay disciplined.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_01]: and then know how to manage money that you have as well.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_01]: Because a lot of times, people get money, they blow the money.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_01]: They blow it, they spend all the money.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like, man, where did the money go?
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_01]: And so you got to be disciplined.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_01]: You got to have a game plan.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_01]: You got to get some knowledge.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the more you learn, the more you earn.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_01]: So don't be that person that you think you know everything, the time has changed.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like, if you're watching this, and you're not tapping into AI in your business.

- 48:30[SPEAKER_00]: I want to leave this gem is the anything that that you want to tell the insides.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_00]: Man, I think many got everything.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_00]: I, I gave a lot of came on this.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_00]: I said, I said that again.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_00]: So, so really, which I'm not, I'm not surprised because I know you, I know your heart, I know, you know, I've spoken to a lot of you, the people in your community before,
- 48:50[SPEAKER_00]: And the fact that that's who you are, like you are a giver.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_00]: But as I'm talking to you, I'm like, let's do telling exactly where to go, how to go.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_00]: But the truth of the matter is this, and y'all make sure your tapping says some it because the truth of the matter is that even with AI, I don't think that people are paying for information anymore, right?
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: People are paying for accountable.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_00]: ability.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_00]: Correct.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_00]: Through our paying for the community, they're paying to access, you know what I'm saying?
- 49:22[SPEAKER_00]: And that's a lot what you provide in your mentorship is, you know, it's a community, it's a kind of ability, right?
- 49:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's correct.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's the things that you can't do.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's the things that I can't do.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, to leave with that, I'm going to give them a gem.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's like you've off with.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm glad you brought that up.

- 50:27[SPEAKER_01]: It won't leave the rooms that we created for them.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what we create the experience.
