  Speaker 1: of the day you done. You're done, and sometimes crawling

  Speaker 1: into bed is all you can manage to do.

  Speaker 2: I've said this. It happened to me last night. Again.

  Speaker 1: The reason I constantly talk to God is because life

  Speaker 1: constantly changes. People who said they was going to do

  Speaker 1: something for you one day have changed their mind the next.

  Speaker 1: Somebody you thought was going to show up that day

  Speaker 1: called in late, had an accident and couldn't make it.

  Speaker 2: That changes the parameters of everything.

  Speaker 1: The meeting you had set up that had to be

  Speaker 1: counseled because somebody was ill. That changes the parameters the

  Speaker 1: time frame of everything. Because it's all connected. So if

  Speaker 1: I don't stay in constant prayer and stay connected to

  Speaker 1: create them, when this thing's happen. I've not put in

  Speaker 1: my bed, I've not talked to him about how to

  Speaker 1: handle it, or I'm just not aware of it and

  Speaker 1: what to do next. And the next thing you know,

  Speaker 1: it becomes a little stagnant. That has happened to me.

  Speaker 1: I gotta get back because prayer is the solution to

  Speaker 1: all of my problems and situations.

  Speaker 2: I have found that to be the case now.

  Speaker 1: The only reason I'm telling it to you is because

  Speaker 1: I know if you anything like me slash human being,

  Speaker 1: then there are times that you feel anxious. There's moments

  Speaker 1: of desperation. You have moments of uncertainty. There are times

  Speaker 1: when you feel like you've lost your way, or your

  Speaker 1: purpose is a little blurred. You're not sure anymore, or

  Speaker 1: you don't know what your next move is, or the
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: relationship you in or the relationships you dabbling in.

  Speaker 2: They're just all wrong for you.

  Speaker 1: Man, there is a solution to all your problems and

  Speaker 1: situations and his prayer. If you're suffering from any of
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: the things I just listened, or anything you could think of,

  Speaker 1: just check your prayer. What has your prayer been lately
• 4:15
  Speaker 1: about it? And this is for everybody. I often find
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: when I get that disconnection. Man, my prayer and slipped off.

  Speaker 1: I started feeling a little bit less, so I got
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: to jump back on it. I'm just offering you a

  Speaker 1: solution to it, man, and and and I'm giving you
• 4:35
  Speaker 1: a solution that works one thousand percent.

  Speaker 2: Fust show. See, I ain't guessing at this one.

  Speaker 1: I'm telling you what has happened in my life, how

  Speaker 1: I did it, and it'll do for you. God is

  Speaker 1: filled with mercy and grace. He knows we all messed up.

  Speaker 1: He knows all of us have done some jacked up

  Speaker 1: things that don't nobody know about.

  Speaker 2: He knows all about our past. Man, he know all

  Speaker 1: But he is so full of grace and mercy, so

  Speaker 1: full of fifty fifty chances. But you know the thing

  Speaker 1: about your life though, and the thing I had to

  Speaker 1: come to terms with, and the reason I don't let

  Speaker 1: out of the reason I don't let my past bury me,

  Speaker 1: the reason I don't let my past define me is

  Speaker 1: because my past I found out or just the ingredients needed.

  Speaker 2: For me to make this cake I'm eating now.

  Speaker 1: My past is just my ingredients. See, you don't get

  Speaker 1: rid of your past. They ain't They ain't gone.

  Speaker 2: Nowhere.

  Speaker 1: They are the ingredients, but when you put them with

  Speaker 1: something else, they look better, they taste better, It is better.

  Speaker 2: All of our pasts are just the ingredients that have

  Speaker 2: become the cake we eating now.

  Speaker 1: Now, if you don't like the way your cake taste,

  Speaker 1: then you gotta start putting some other ingredients in there.

  Speaker 1: Just because you started off and your cake was messed up,

  Speaker 1: don't mean you can't straighten out the flavor your cake.

  Speaker 1: You gotta put some different ingredients in there. So let's

  Speaker 1: say your cake is trifling tasted, it's bitter. Your cake

  Speaker 1: is bitter, Well, you got to dilute the bitterness. You

  Speaker 1: gotta put some more goodness in there. So you gotta

  Speaker 1: put some goodness ingredients to take away the taste of

  Speaker 1: the bitterness. So you gotta put some different ingredients in there.

  Speaker 1: You gotta start living your life a little more kindly,

  Speaker 1: a little more thoughtful, a little more sharing, a little

  Speaker 1: more caring. And then after a while, man those new

  Speaker 1: ingredients combined with that bitter it starts overshadowing the bitter

  Speaker 1: taste because the bitter taste is further behind you. Now,

  Speaker 1: see something that happened to you twelve fifteen thirty twenty five,

  Speaker 1: sixteen years ago. Ain't got to be the flavor that's

  Speaker 1: in your mouth now unless you let it be. It's

  Speaker 1: the ingredients, man. If you sink it away your cake

  Speaker 1: taste and change your ingredients, put something else in your

  Speaker 1: cake mix so you can get a better taste.

  Speaker 2: If you don't like the way your life tastes. Pray.

  Speaker 1: I've been here my mama saying for years, boy, prayer

  Speaker 1: change his things, don't my mama said to me all

  Speaker 1: I walk on stage, I tell them these words, my

  Speaker 1: do the same thing for you. I said, whatever I

  Speaker 1: get in trouble, I hear her words. She said, Son,

  Speaker 1: don't forget to pray. Don't be ashamed to pray, and

  Speaker 1: don't be too proud to pray, because prayer, prayer changes things,
